I absolutely love all the products I’ve purchased! The sorbet is great for taming my slightly frizzy fine hair and just a little goes a long way. I especially love the sea salt spray which gives my fine hair great texture and the thick it is a game changer for me leaving my hair full. Best to use small amount to avoid a sticky feel. I like the blow out shampoo and conditioner as well as the leave in detangler spray. My hair looks and feels so much healthier and fuller than prior to using this line and I would highly recommend to anyone with thin hair to try. I can even go two to three days with out washing my hair by simply dampening my hair and using a couple of the products in between washes. Game changer for me!Shelli A.

I love this product! I have thick, wavy, wild hair that has little bits shoot out in different directions. My daughter has smooth, wavy hair. My son has thick hair. Both of my children use this product. My daughter likes to use this product right out of the shower. She says she just loves the smell. My son's hair has a mind of its own. He uses this mixed with hair pomade to help style his "cow licked" spots and he also says it smells good too. I read all the reviews about this product and wanted to see what the hype was about. I was like ok I’m sure it works but it’s not like holy grail like everyone is saying, especially mixed with the satin nectar…..yeahhhhh I was wrong because it’s definitely holy grail status! Cantu is definitely an excellent brand. My hair suffers from frizziness, dryness and flat curls. My friend, who has excellent curls, recommended Cantu to me so I bought a bunch of products during the sale not really having my hopes high because I have been really disappointed with recommended (and not recommended) products in the past. I have had a lot of negative coments on my hair especially given my new job which requires a neat and tidy appearance (they don't mind the curls, but they do mind the frizziness and the fact that it looks like a bird's nest most of the time even though I have product in it) My main concern is that the product does it job with minimal effort and doesn't break the bank. Even without the sale, I do believe Cantu is a super affordable brand. I have used this hydrating curling cream both in combination with another Cantu product and as a standalone and I am super impressed. Omg this hair masque makes my hair super Soft and moisture; it just makes my hair knots melts. It has a great scent. It moisture and hydrate my curls, it also notices it has strengthened my hair and a small amount goes a long way. The texture of this hair masque is very smooth and creamy. I feel like Cantu really thought about this product and it shows. It's full of amazing ingredients including avocado oil, and honey. I had never heard of baobab oil, but from what I've read, it's full of antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids. I tried the masque on my daughter and although it may not have been enough moisture for her hair, it did seem to hydrate it and refresh her hair's shine. I like that it pretty much has the same ingredients that I use to make her homemade hair masks, but without the mess. Try it out!Mamitalinda

This product is AMAZING! A little goes a long way. My hair is to the middle of my back, and I’ve been using the same bottle for almost a year now. Mostly on my edged and ends bc they tend to dry out the fastest between washes. I can use it to rehydrate a wash and go or revive my hair while its straightened. I love this leave in soooo much. I tried bleaching box dye out of my hair and I really damaged it and I need help getting my hair to feel soft again and this did that for me. The only con is that a little goes along way. If you have thin, fine hair I don't recommend unless u truly use very very little amount at a time because this product can easily leave your hair feeling greasy.Miss damaged

I use this daily on my curly hair. It doesn't leave my hair greasy feeling or looking like some of the other products I've used over the years, and I like the light coconut scent. As others have commented, it is a thick product and difficult to get out of the bottle, but my solution for that is to use a pump top from another product (like Mrs. Meyers hand soap) cut to the length needed for the SheaMoisture bottle. I save the screw-on top and use it toward the end of the bottle when the pump won't get out the last bit. Then I turn the bottle upside down, and when that doesn't work any more, I get a plastic knife and scrape the rest out. It's too good to leave any behind!!Barbara C.

I have received Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style milk in exchange from topbox my honest review. I have curly and very dry hair and the tangles are my challenge. Anybody with type 4 hair please buy this. I used this for the first time with the curl souffle and my only gripe is that I didn't try this a lot sooner. Super moisturising and lush on the hair. Gorgeous. My hair feels completely nourished and this is just on the first use. I would recommend if you are a thick type 4 you be quite generous when you use it because a fair amount works a long way if you are a tighter texture.Anna

This spray does give your hair a boost that probably couldn’t be achieved otherwise. It is in liquid form that you spray on your roots and let it do it’s magic. The reason I am giving it three stars is the condition it leaves your hair of the areas the product was applied to. It feels like it has been back combed. This stuff is pure MAGIC! You only need a tiny spritz on the roots. This product is tricky, here is how I recommend using it. On clean wet hair, spray in your leave in conditioner/ moisturizing products first, then rough Blowdry your hair to about 60% dry, then as you Blowdry your hair, use this product on your roots section by section at the root. A little goes a long way so you don’t need to spray it all over, one spray at the root is enough per section to give you volume and hold that will last for days. If you spray too much, your hair will be hard to manage and hard to put a brush through so just a small spritz is enough! This product Can last you forever!!!! I tried this cream a few years ago and didn't really care for it. It was super moisturizing but just didn't have the hold I wanted. To be fair, I used it for a wash n go and NOT a twist out. I only do wash n go's. However, I decided to pick it up again a few days ago while grabbing my usual holy grails (the hair wash, leave in, and mask from this line). This time, I applied the leave in on damp hair and then waited until my hair was about 85% dry before going in with this cream (on a wash n go). OMG the definition and hold! Absolutely amazing! This is so bomb. I have curly hair! I orginally brought it home from Dominican Republic. And it’s way better for high porosity curly hair that’s damaged. Like if your hair has been through it and it on the damaged side and needs a lot of moisture this is for you. That’s why it’s for Me lol!! An amazing product for my dry, frizzy hair! This smells like warm, smooth coconut 🥥! Compared to alternatives, this has a VERY strong scent, so be cautious if you're sensitive to fragrances! I would improve this product by offering this is a lighter lotion for those with thinner hair not to overdo it, however you can use less product and avoid applying to your scalp to avoid weighing your hair down. I bought this product not knowing my hair type which is my bad. So if you have low porosity hair like me, this product might not be the best for you. I used this weekly and found that my hair felt extra greasy and had a lot of build up. The butters caused weighed down my curls and they still had a lot of frizz. It does smell good and I bet would be great for high porosity hair. But if you have low porosity hair, it's probably better to just avoid this product.Kenna

BUYER BEWARE: There are two different Foxy Curls products floating around on Home Essentials Direct and they are VERY different. Some of the sellers have not updated their product pictures so you may not get what you think your getting. This review is for the Foxy Curls product with the WHITE cap. I returned the one with the green cap so I cannot comment on that product. I have been using this product for years and I absolutely love it. I am a white female in my 40's with long, thick curly hair that can be frizzy if not tamed. I've tried just about every product out there over the years and this is the only one that has worked for me. I apply it while my hair is wet (almost dripping). This makes a big difference with the final result. I apply quite a bit of it since my hair is very thick. I even apply it underneath my hair. I had to work on the amount I use. To much and it looks like crap. Not enough and it looks like crap so you have to find the amount that works for you. Also, after my hair is almost dry, I "un-crunch" it. This is super important. Some reviewers are saying their hair is stiff afterwards. And yes, it is, however, I carefully run my fingers through my hair as to almost comb it with my hands and soften it. This takes the "crunchy" look away and makes the curls soft but not frizzy. Again, there was some testing with this as to not un-crunch it while my hair is to wet or to dry. This is my review on the GREEN cap Foxy Curls. I applied the same application principals as the WHITE cap to compare apples to apples. I admit I was a bit skeptical since they are so different. This new formula is way thinner and goes on a bit easier. I found myself using less of it so that a big PRO! It kind of makes my hair feel a bit slimy when you apply it, but if the final results are what I want, this is not a big deal. After it dries a bit, I "un-crunched" it and the results are similar. It seems to control the frizz a bit better, but my curls seem more weighted down. I think I may have to work on the amount I use. So all in all, I'll still keep the 5 stars on the GREEN cap, since the end result is very similar and I don't seem to be using as much of it now. But I think I like the WHITE cap better. Maybe I just need to work with the new formula a bit more. UPDATE: I've been using the green cap product for months now and like it just as much or even better than the white cap. Again, I had to work on the amount I use. I use less with the green cap than the white. If I use to much, my hair looks a bit stringy. I got a haircut and was recommended this product. It smells good but it’s horrible in the hair. Tried it multiple times but it leaves frizz and residue. Used it today and it feels gross and sticky, and left my hair a tangled mess and I was forced to brush it and now I just have wash again and scrub out the residue. Disappointing. I have been in the market for a new hair gel that's good for my wavy/curly hair. Had been using DevaCurl's Light Defining Gel for a long time as it was just what I was looking for back a couple years ago. But recently I have developed some kind of allergy to it. Makes my scalp itch like crazy. So I gave this a shot with an Ulta hair stylist's recommendation. The bottle seemed small but I was willing to try a new product by a high regarded styling brand such as BedHead.The bottle had a nicely designed pump making it easy to use. I had not realized until I was done styling my hair with this product that I had used about half of the whole bottle to achieve the hold and shine I normally go for with my DevaCurl gel. I was quite shocked. Way too much product used for a brand I thought that would require only a very small amount of it's product to get the look I wanted. I would definitely not buying this cream again. I will stick to a gel because I tend to think that curl defining creams do not have a lot of hold or styling power as a gel would. I really enjoy a good flaxseed gel. I also love me some good ole Cantu. They have a delicious, sweet smell which helps prevent my frizzies from getting too frizzy. I appreciate the way this Cantu Flaxseed gel works on curls. My hair is more wavy than curly but it actually softens the look a bit. It is not heavy or stiff on your hair either. I love that it has natural things like Aloe, Shea butter and Vitamin E in it so you know there aren't harsh chemicals on your hair. It doesn't smell and is easy to apply. I love the scent and texture of this product and it works great for my natural 3b curls BUT I cannot get past day one hair with this product. I’ve used it with different products and alone and NOPE…every single time by the next day my curls turned into a frizzy weighed down mess sadly. Mizani 25 Miracle Milk can be used on wet or dry hair. I like to use it right out of the shower as a regular leave in conditioner or in the mornings to refresh my hair. When using it on dry hair, I prefer to spray it directly onto the palms of my hands which makes it easier to evenly work the product into my hair. I love that Miracle Milk has multiple different hair benefits. This saves me time and money since I only have to use one product instead of various different products such as a detangling spray, gloss, leave in conditioner etc. The mist is fine and even but the smell is a little bit to strong for my liking. Unfortunately the leave in conditioner contains silicones in the form of amodimethicone. I try my best to choose silicone free products for my wavy/ curly hair but sometimes it is not possible. Mizani 25 Miracle Milk leave in treatment has been my go to for the past two week.. I have long, color treated, and dry hair that I typically treat with a leave in after washing. This has a pleasant soft scent that smells so good after getting out of the shower that it puts me in a good mood. It’s a nourishing blend of Ferrell seed oil, and sourced coconut oil. I’m happy with the results because my hair is super soft and manageable without being weighed down with any heavy build up on my roots. My hair has nice volume that extends for a long period of time throughout the day. In addition; this is recommended for all hair types! I’ve enjoyed using this to detangle my daughters hair. She seems to forget how to use a brush over the weekends. The price is decent for a 8.5 fl .oz at $25.00. (the brand considers this a mini). This is just about my favorite Lange product. You only need a little bit too! My hair is thin, fine and with a natural wave. I have used Thick It after applying the lotion or the Whip Volumizing Mousse. I’ll need to try both next time and see if they are compatible. My guess will be, Yes! The Glaze kept my frizzies to a minimum. Hair was nice and soft and did not flatten my hair…I did keep it away from my roots. Love love love this product! Been using it for several years now. I've tried just about every pricey hair care product on the market, but have found nothing works better to tame my frizzy curly hair than this affordably priced product. I can't believe how well this product worked on my hair. I'm Black, Type 4c hair, natural (not chemically relaxed) and this product, like other Garnier curl products and leave in smoothing anti-frizz products I've tried, works better than all of the products that are supposed to be created specifically for my hair. I just wish the jar was bigger because my hair is quite thick and shoulder length (once I detangle and moisturize it, otherwise it's neck length). Good thing this product is affordable, so I can buy two jars at once, because one jar lasts me about 5 washes (I use it on "wash day" to detangle, moisturize and stretch my curl after I wash my hair, which is about twice a week). Overall, this is the only product that actually works, is easy to use, is not sticky at all, holds two strand twists and cold roller sets nicely, makes my curls soft and shaped/defined and is affordable. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. The Pattern Transformation Mask is my new favorite product to add to my hair routine! You can use it two ways but my favorite way to use it is before my shower. I'm so terribly impressed with the Pattern Treatment and Transitioning masks! I LOVE …..no am obsessed with the Treatment mask, so I just had to try this one. Although I'm not transitioning and am natural, I'm drawn to the texture of these masks. I'm natural type 4, high porosity, dry, below the shoulder hair. Unlike the treatment mask, I applied this to semi dry steamed hair in the shower prior to shampooing, and quite honestly, I think I would have been pleased either way. I now look forward to having my time each week pampering my tresses. The thought and science behind the texture of this mask and the final results is so on time for me. They GRAB, PULL,TAME,STRENGTHEN, and HYDRATE my hair instantly. The results with this mask are that my hair is immediately detangled……of course, but very strong feeling, whereas the Treatment mask performed the same way but left my hair super soft and detangled. Both left no pulled out clumps of hair or shedding in my drain and my toes are not slipping, sliding, and slimy underneath my feet…yuk! My hair hangs, swings, and bounces after I've applied these masks…even while fully dried. I love both masks, and will certainly be purchasing again.blackrelaxedhair

I'm a natural with 4a/4b hair that mainly does wash n goes. I wanted a gel to layer for hold that had better ingredients than eco and wetline. I planned to use this as a topper. I've experienced that this product offers great hold, it does not control frizz very well due to the light/watery consistency. I used a botanical gel underneath and I think my hair would have had more frizz control if I used it on damp hair vs. soaking wet. I feel as if my hair dried quicker while using this product (I did sit under the hooded dryer) and the application was super easy. I felt that it had slip due to the consistency. The hold that this gives is correct. I would describe it as a firm-medium. Definitely not a strong hold. And I would agree with the reviewer that said the curls need to be sculpted beforehand. This is not going to give you much definition alone. Use this for additional hold and control. Overall, I think I would purchase again and I'm interested in trying their strong hold gel.Jasmine

I love this product. After my leave-in I usually have a few tangles, but when I use this cream instead of my usual cream, it gave me the best slip and gets all the tangles out that my leave in did not attack, and I had no frizz. It cut my wash day in half. It used to take me an hour in a half to do my hair (tangles, ugh!), now it only takes 45 – 50 minutes. My curls were so hydrated and defined. I just love this product. Don't let the size of the bottle make you think you need a bigger bottle because a little is all you need…about the size of a quarter if you're doing sections (I do 4 sections) but use it according to your hair density. My hair is a thick density on the top (this was great for that) and my hair is 3C/4A. It works perfect my sista's. Try it. Also, I noticed it has shea butter in it…a major plus for moisture. My process is LCG, I have oil that I use after wash day, but I tell you with this cream, you really don't need it. I didn't. Curl Talk don't ever change the formula!Robbin-Lynn

I have type 3c/3b Hair so I am always needing a good hair gel. I do like the original gel in this curl talk line. It provides adequate hold. Once this gel was introduced, I knew I had to try it. It does have a sticky consistency. But I am sure that is what helps the gel give that extra hold. You will have a hard cast on your hair once it is dry, but u can always break the cast if u want to. This gel holds up to humidity well. My advice since it is so sticky to the touch and to avoid tangling your hair is to apply your typical styling products before hand, and add this gel at the very last. It will be easier to work through the hair and wont leave a tangles mess. This is not a good gel if you feel like refreshing or combing out your hair the next day, just cause the extra hold that it does give. I purchased this recently to soften and nourish my dry 4c hair and I was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way and it left my hair feeling rich, moisturised and manageable. It has a fluffy and buttery consistency. When I first got it was a bit disappointed at the size because of the price but it didnt matter.I have only been using it for 2 weeks but I can tell the difference in my hair length already. This is my new go to product and its surprising as I usually go for shea moisture product. I would recommend that you buy this on offer as it can be a bit pricey.4Chairgoals

I bought this on the basis of all the positive reviews. I am so disappointed. I know things don't work for all hair types, but given what this is made from, and all the people with 4C hair who are raving about it, it should surely have worked on my 3A/B type hair, long with two curl types. It does absolutely nothing for my hair. Nothing. I washed my hair and used this and a sister product, and the following morning my hair was as dry as anything. Dryer than if I'd just washed and conditioned. Obviously it must relate to my hair type, as others have raved about it, but I just don't see why. Will stick to Cantu in future. An unfortunate waste of nearly £30 on products that won't get used further.Lea_London

Love this! It smells so good and it is the perfect weight and consistency for a leave in. Leaves my hair feeling moisturized and not dry. BUT it’s impossible to get out the bottle. The bottle does not give- it has very little squeeze to it. It’s made out of a very thick plastic and when I squeeze it, it feels like I am going to break it. There’s no turning it upside down and shaking- the leave in is thick and will not budge. So this needs to come either in a completely different bottle. Preferably one of those squeeze, upside down type bottles. Or in a jar. Or just make the plastic thinner so it’s easier to squeeze. I take off the top and squeeze it out onto my bathroom counter and use it that way.Baby Girl

I love this whole line of Camille rose products! They smell absolutely incredible and works so well for my level 11 platinum baby fine blonde hair that gets tangled so easily, I had so much postpartum hair loss after having my babies! I mean literally I was half bald it was really bad! I tried so many different products with no luck for regrowth. I was at the breaking point of wanting to just shave my head because I felt like I didn’t have a choice it just looked so bad, it was so patchy and so many different lengths. This product is just okay, it’s definitely nothing special, I have been impressed with every other Camille Rose product so far besides this one. I have dry curly/wavy hair that gets dry and tangled very easily and I found this gave me no slip and not enough moisture for my hair. The reason I said this product that is okay it’s because once my hair is dry it does feel soft with this product in but for me I definitely need the detangling properties in a moisture milk/leave in conditioner as I found this product hard to work through my hair. I was disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this product more because it does contain some really nice ingredients such as avocado Leaf juice, castor seed oil , macadamia seed oil and rice seed protein so I reckon it would definitely work for someone else probably just wasn’t right for my hair type!sophie.b
