I LOVE the wet look gel. I use this product all the time ! Not a day goes by that people don't stop me in the halls at school or stop me while I'm shopping to ask me what I do with it. I absolutely LOVE and adore this gel! I have medium length 3B/medium porosity hair and this gel has been a total game changer for me! I've been doing the same hair routine for decades with ok curls that I could never leave down because they'd frizz after a few hours. A year ago I started experimenting and really doing research on what could work better for my hair. I have genetic hair loss and have lost a ton of density over the last five years and I'm trying improve and preserve what I have for as long as I still have it. I was always told my curls were "pretty," then I started using the Curl Defining Styling Soufflé after trialing another cream/gel from a different line of product and I got a ton more compliments on my curls and could leave it down for longer. After that trial, I tried this gel and oh my goodness, my curls are even more amazing! They don't feel stiff and scrunchy, they don't look like they are held with gel, but they hold for DAYS, not hours like before, but DAYS! I get compliments all the time on my curls now, even on day 3 between washes! My hair looks shinier without being greasy or stiff too. I can't say enough good things about this gel. I don't use it in the shower, when I tried it on fully wet hair, I had less curls and less volume, but that's just my hair. You'll need to play around with your curls to see what works for you. I comb my hair in the shower while I condition, lightly wrap my hair in a towel for a few minutes when I get out (no rubbing!), then put in my leave-in (Multi Tasking Conditioner) with prayer hands then put in this gel with prayer hands, do some gently scrunching and I'm good to go. I'm unorthodox and I go to bed with wet hair but lay my hair "up" on my pillow to dry and I get a ton more root volume and just have to scrunch and finger comb a bit of volume in in the morning and I'm good to go. Unfortunately, this stuff is awful. I originally purchased the blue one, but the smell of it makes me nauseous so I decided to try the orange. It smells better, but sadly that is the only thing going for it. I tried multiple times, styling both in shower and out and this formula is not for my hair. I had hoped the firmer hold would help my fine, tight spiral curls hold up better on day 2-3, maybe even 4. Instead the gel was as crunchy as crunchy can be. Even after scrunching it to break the cast, going outside in humidity or sweating from walking would make it react and get sticky all over my neck, and then crunchy again. Overnight my curls got flattened and the gel held them in the most awful pressed and messed up shapes. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. What a mess.Bri

I have a fine hair texture and have some challenges getting my hair to look full. I usually apply a leave-in conditioner or cream before gel but I skipped that since I was trying this product first time and wanted to see what it did by itself. I sectioned my hair and I admit, I used more than a dime size per section. After I applied it using prayer hands, I brush it through using a flexi brush, then brush styled with my Denman brush. The only problem I encountered was it was difficult brush styling with the product in my hair as my hair was sticky. I will probably brush style then apply with soft prayer hands, then scrunch next time to see if that helps. Nevertheless, my curls starting popping while I was diffusing my hair. I'm not sure if it's because I only used one product, or if something about this one product helped, but my dry time was way quicker than normal to (which is great because it was about 85°F today). I went out and 2 people who see me all the time complimented my curls and that was a first. I only bought the travel size to try it, but I think this is one I'm going to repurchase a full size in. Oh, and I got great volume from it once I scrunched it out. The trick for me was not scrunching up to break the cast, but instead grabbing my hair in sections like little ponytails and massaging the hair together while I scrunched. It sounds scary, like it would cause frizz, but I the hold is so good that I didn't really get any frizz. I hope that helps, but I get it might not be for everyone.Waves&Smiles

I got this as a free gift with the air dry leave in conditioner. you're suppose to use them together on soaking wet hair…. they did nothing. it was as if I had no product in my hair. so I rinsed them out n tries it on towel dried hair and that's was even worse. if had to put mousse over the jelly just to get a cast so my large curls wouldnt fall out and had definition. now im left with a crunchy mess that I cant scrunch out and if I comb, pick, or brush it out im left looking like i stuck my finger in a light socket. how can something be a level 7 hold but literally have ZERO hold? the beauty advisors at ulta really need to start listening to customers. when I say I like the light weight of a mousse and how its defines my curls, dont try to sell me on everything BUT a mousse. if that's what im looking for then help me find one for my hair. no extras PERIOD!kalirocker

I started to use this hydro flex jelly last summer when I just wanted to give me hair a rest from defusing. I use this along with leave in cream and just love it. This product another one from the range allows the scalp to breath and not weigh hair down. I was pleasantly surprised with the results when I first used it. The curl definition is amazing and I was left with zero frizz. This jelly has some power and curl pattern is always kept passed day 2. I wanted to love this product so bad but I didn’t love it that much, thought it was ok. The scent is amazing. Very fresh and clean. The texture is nice and has a nice slip to it. I apply a good amount to my damp hair after a shower. The first time I used it I used it sparingly to not over to it. It made my hair feel dry but not have any hold to it, it felt horrible. The next wash day I used a lot more. It didn’t leave the drying feeling as when I used a small amount but the hold was WAY more mild than I expected for a 7 on the scale. I honestly can’t tell if it’s doing anything more for my hair than without. Maybe a little less frizz but it doesn’t make a cast over my waves or curls really. This product is amazing! My hair texture is fine and fly away-ish and some oils can be too heavy for it; however, this product leaves it feeling hydrated and tamed. I love this stuff. I thought it was a little pricey when I bought it, however I find it has definitely pulled its weight in my hair care game. I like to use this out of the shower when my hair is about 80% dry, it leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny without any greasiness or stickiness. I have curly hair and it works just fine ofcouse I like my hair to be in place than to be big so this does it's job! If I want more definition I use a defining cream and then apply this gel and it always gives me a great hair day. Recently started using this and I love it! I apply on the ends of my hair both wet and dry. My hair tends to be on the drier side and this definitely does what it says “moisture and shine”. I got a 3oz of this to try it and I like what it does for my hair. I also like that I can use on days when I don't want to dry my hair. It gives nice shine and isn't greasy. However, it smells horrible and the smell is so strong. It smells like the house of your classy grandma who has smoked her whole life but has nice perfume. This is an alright product. I have curly hair and typically air dry. I would use this after a spray on leave in conditioner. I would focus putting this product on the length and ends of my hair. It left my hair soft and smooth and my hair curled nicely with it. I have to say the fragrance is not super appealing. If you don’t like synthetic artificial floral scents then this is really not for you! I don’t think this made my hair any shinier. If so it was simply topical due to ingredients—not because of improved hair health. I have to say a little goes a long way. I had the full size for a full year with every-other-day use The ingredient list is pretty unimpressive. I ultimately stopped using because I’m trying to remove silicon from my hair routine. It creates an illusion of shine but it’s fake! Silicone is crap for your hair it actually prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft! All in all it’s an alright product. I don't understand where a lot of these people are saying it's greasy or it stinks. I've used this product, among other Chi products, for years. I decided to purchase this recently on Home Essentials Direct because it was a good price. It is just like any other Chi Shine Spray I've purchased from other places. I'm guessing that maybe the other reviewers are spraying it too close to their hair, and maybe the smell is too strong for them; therefore, it "smells". The scent is strong, but it's a pleasant, fresh scent. I use this after I spray finishing spray on my hair to make my hair shiny and smell good. I get compliments for how great my hair smells! So if you purchase this, be sure to spray far enough away so it won't make your hair greasy and don't over spray!! I spray it all over my hair about 8 inches away for only 1-2 seconds.K.

Chi Shine Infusion is my favorite Chi product. I use it on damp and dry hair. I love what it adds to my hair after I straighten it. It tends to appear dry even though it’s amazingly soft. The Shine Spray definitely is the finishing touch. It also does wonders for my nails cuticles. I always wind up getting some on my hands, but I don’t wash it off, I use every bit by massaging it into my nails cuticles. The smell is amazing! However, it is an aerosol can. So, make sure there’s airflow around you. It otherwise leaves a little ‘mist’ in the air around. Also, you don’t need much. If you use too much, it’ll leave your hair looking oily—which defeats the whole purpose of healthy looking hair. For some reason, it’s irritating to my daughter and makes her cough. I’m just smart about when where I use it, because I’m not going to give it up!lesli.h

I absolutely love this brand. Sadly, I currently live in dry desert, SDCA, and my poor DRY hair (and skin for that matter) hates me. I'm from Houston, TX and used CHI for many years due to the humid climate. Coincidentally this brand was founded and is manufactured in Houston so they know a little something about Frizzies, I imagine. I have fine, BABY fine strands and thyroid condition and I'm young 40's. ie predominately gray but color regularly. I'm unable to enjoy many products and when I happen to find one it is a struggle to find that sweet spot at applying the correct amount (or lack thereof) I've learned that I cannot use too much of anything or my hair's a mess. A work in progress would be safe to say. I am not affiliated with Chi or ULTA, for disclosure purposes. In short, it doesn't matter if you are in a dry climate, humid climate or anywhere between, thick hair, fine hair, curly or (like myself straight as a board) this product offers choices for all. i use this every now and then as a leave in conditioner. it's a light weight mousse, AND it smells very good. i make sure i always have this on hand. i have combination hair, greasy roots but color treated ends. so it works well because i can mainly focus on the parts that need it most. leaves hair soft and smelling great after use.smc

First, I love the texture of this product. It truly is whipped, light, fluffy moisture giving goodness. Though it is not heavy enough on it's own or mixed with Potion 9 to stop my coily hair from claiming real-estate closer to my skull for wash and go, I think it would be perfect for a flexirod set. In comparison to mousse type products that I have used in the past, there is no sticky feel. Another plus of the Potion 9+whipped creme combo is that it mixes well with others and can be refreshed by shower steam or damp hands in the shower with no additional product. I have long, fine, curly hair that can be a bit unruly and loves to frizz out in the summer humidity. I try to wash it only two times a week so I was excited to try the curl reactivator to see if it helps revive my curls. It works great in tandem with other curl products like the curl mousse. However, if it's the sole product you are using on your hair I will say that it's not enough to combat frizz, for me at least. That being said, it definitely does what says, it revives curls, especially ones that are 2+ days old. It doesn't weigh down the hair and make it greasy. My hair feels really soft after using. Really nice lightweight product that is perfect for wave/curl touch ups. If I’m honest, this isn’t too much different in performance to a watered down hair conditioner, but I love the convenience and that they got the ratio right. I have thinning hair and I love that this product doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it oily/greasy at all. To get the most out of this product, I like to slightly dampen with water and then go in with this. Not necessary to take that added step, but it helps stretch out the product more. I got this at the store today because I am trying to embrace my wavy hair for the summer and put less heat on it. I originally went to get the lightweight curl cream and figured I would get both. I tried this today on day 2 hair and I’m pretty impressed. It reformed my curls and took the frizz away. The only reason I deducted a star is because I felt like I needed to spray my hair with water to get the full effect. I was hoping this alone would do the trick. I will still continue to use this though and maybe on day 3,4,5 I can use without water. I have hair extensions as well and it works on them too. I am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my haircare, but every now and again if a product is amazing enough from another line , I will cheat on my usual and dip into the other line for that product. This is one of them The Moroccan Oil Treatment oil, which I feel is their most popular product that lead the way for this brand I think lol yes it is expensive, yes I get it cheaper because I am a liscenced professional lol but, when it comes to these higher end hair products , usually,you get what you pay for. It is worth the expensive price tag. There are some expensive hair products that I feel are not worth it and are way too overpriced for what they actually do and I am always very honest in my reviews on hair care because I live and breathe hair , its my profession, its what I love and I love to help people achieve hair they love, so if that means being honest and saying hey this product isnt worth it or its crap OR hey , this is not a brand I retail at work BUT Ive used it and I love it and recommend it even if u need to buy it elsewhere and I dont really achieve much for myself, what I want to achieve is to educate people on hair hair products and what works for them . So I am always honest when clients ask me about Moroccan oil.. that no we dont carry it but it is something I love and use everyday.it gives my hair amazing shine, it makes it feel soft and silky and just glides on over those little split ends like they are there, it helps tame frizz and flyaways and its a treatment that actually is beneficial to your hair. The bottle is on the small side but a little goes a LONG way unless you want to look like you stuck your hair in some grease than by all means lol but seriously a tiny bit, rub in your palms and rub jtno your hair , focusing on the ends and midshaft scalp will just make u oily I have naturally curly hair that is prone to dryness, it gets frizzy , its thick. I use the regular Moroccan oil treatment but there is also a light for those with finer hair , more oily , sleek type ,thinner hair that this regular one might be a little heavy for. I also apply this to dry hairz over my midshaft and ends when I feel they could use a little TLC . If theyre looking a little dry maybe just a little bit of this run through it and it will make your hair feel all soft and loveable again. I like the smell, it isnt anything strong or overpowering. This is the only hair product I do use from Moroccan oil, I am sure they do have other good products but at that price point and already being happy with my current hair care routine, Ive never felt the need to try them and I feel that this product here is their Holy Grail so to speak, like the 1 amazing stand out product where they are at the top of their game. I really love using this stuff. I have for years. My original favorite was Chi Silk Infusions and I still like that stuff but I feel this does the job better. So basically youd use something like this for heat and uv protection as well as moisture and shine. Mostly I use it for getting some moisture back in my really parched, heat abused hair for a nice, healthy and naturally shiny look. Using products like that can go wrong really fast. You can cross the line into greasy mess from shiny tresses quick. You can do that with this too if you use too much but a lot of products do that no matter how little you use. This lasts forever because even with the thickest and driest hair needs only a dime size or less warmed between the palms and lightly rubbed through every layer from root to ends with finger tips open to get every strand focusing on the ends. Ive noticed that it gives me life back to my hair. It gives me that naturally healthy movement you just dont get with fried hair. With this and changing my hair habits I have come almost all the way back from totally broken hair to healthy hair thats a little dry and has split ends. And with my current issues it makes it look like I have none. Especially when I flat iron my hair with this as a heat protectant it almost seals the cuticle completely and keeps my hair looking super healthy until my next wash. I also use it randomly to add a touch of moisture back into my hair if its really dry. Or if my ends are getting bad between trims I use this and flat iron them to seal them and make them look healthy temporarily. It also smells amazing. I love the comforting and unique almost but not quite tropical scent. Its very unique and very feminine without being like a perfume. It makes my hair smell fresh and pretty and that scent lasts for a couple days. Overall it is a little expensive but it lasts a long time so it ends up costing almost the same as the drugstore over time because if does last so long. Its just more of an initial investment. A sephora employee told me this stuff actually is bad for your hair and dries it out but I dont think it would have gotten so famous if it wasnt so great for so many people. Maybe she just had a bad experience. It wouldnt have been the first time I had been given bad information by a Sephora employee but I just thought Id mention it. I totally recommend. But only buy from authorized retailers like salons or stores like sephora, macys, and other high end retailers or it will most likely be a fake.Anonymous

Lets just say, I love Morrocanoil and have for years the product has always been consistently the same until I tried the bottle from this seller.This does not smell or feel like MoroccanoilI love my normal Morrocanoil because its Lux, silky smooth and has a specific color and wonderful smell. This product was not any of those things it was tacky it stuck to my hands and didnt glide through my hair and made my hair feel rough. It had a nice smell but not the Moroccanoil scent.I still have some Moroccanoil from my last bottle and even the color is different.This new product is not good. Not sure if I just got an off bottle or what has happened.I read over the label and it said nothing about a new formula. All I can say is this is not the signature Morrocanoil and its not a good product. It feels like castoroil.I liked the price and thats why I ordered from this seller but next time I will just pay full price at the salon because I know what Im getting.It even wasnt in its signature box or had the same colored label so that makes me more curious.I couldnt find a way to contact the seller I went to the reorder page and the sellers name was different then this one. When used properly, this product produces amazing results! My blow dried hair has gone from frizzy and dry to moist and OH MY!! I couldn't believe my eyes!! My hair actually looked almost flat ironed. My hair was sleek and straight after blow drying! The secret is to spray this on the hair while it is soaking wet and than blow dry. Moisture is locked in, leaving the hair soft and silky. Only a small amount is needed. It takes a couple of tries and some trial and error because everyone is different, but once you find what works for you, you will be amazed!!Imari

This is an excellent hair serum, oil-free which I’ve been searching for along time. It’s a thick texture and a little bit coats my bobbed hair from mid length to ends after towel drying. Once blow dried and straightened my hair is sleek, smooth (not weighed down) and strong with no frizz, even in humidity. Pureology instant levitation mist is a game changer for me and my 5 year old daughter as she has thin hair that has no volume at the roots. So i got super excited reading the description of this spray cause i have very fine thin long hair. Ive been trying to talk myself into cutting to make it look fuller possibly but ive watched a hairdresser put this spray on my daughters roots before drying it and she said its to give it more volume so i have bought since then a root lifting mouse still nothing crazy happens when ive tried to spray onto my roots then dry. Then I opened this and influencer gave me texture paste and hairspray those i don't use often that would be a rarity but hey i tried them out gave my opinion on then but this spray is claiming to give lift and volume once again so ive been using this for the past if say 4 washes and again personally no lift change. Shine umm yeah id say it gives it more shine but i spray on damp hair out of the shower hair on the roots massage then into my scalp then brush thru so its not all staying directly near my scalp cause i don't want it to dry n look greasy neither and well in my eyes it doesn't give Marilyn Monroe vibes like i want n need. Ill keep trying maybe its just my hair . If you're in my shoes hair down the middle of my back but yet when u pull it up the pony is to thin its embarrassing so im still on the hunt.darci .s

I NEVER write reviews, but this product has changed my hair life. I get stopped in the store by strangers telling me they love my hair. Like with all products, I think there are things you can do to increase its success, the most important: blow dry it with a round brush. I do not even use a flat iron until day two or three, and then only to straighten some of the ends in the back. I am down to fixing my hair 2-3 times a week. On days two and three, I literally wake up, spray dry shampoo at the roots and dry conditioner at the ends, comb it, use the flat iron if absolutely necessary (usually only necessary on the under hair in the back), and hairspray. This product makes my thin lifeless hair look super thick! It is by far the best hair product I have ever used. I have been so impressed, I have invested in many other Drybar products.leavinsk

I have pretty thin, very straight hair. Its a great red color, but its usually pretty lifeless. I wanted to give this product a try, and I'm glad I only bought the mini version. It didn't work for me at all, which isn't uncommon with my hair. The first day I used it, it rained (my hair goes dead flat with humidity), so I gave it another try on a different day. However, the second day, there was no change. At first, once I finished blowdrying my hair, I thought it would actually work, but the results were mostly just from having just dried my hair. By the time I made it to my office, my hair was just as flat as ever, if not more so due to the presence of a product. I'm not saying this won't work for your hair, but for my thin, fine, straight hair, it was useless.Shelby

I have very flat, fine hair. It is hard for me to get volume. This worked so much better than any other product I've tried. Put this in my hair after it was towel dried and then dried my hair upside down and BAM my hair had to much volume and also helped with texture to help my curls hold which my hair does not hold curls well either. I am incredibly disappointed by this product- especially with all the rave reviews. I wanted a sea salt spray to help texturize my hair with no heat curls. This is NOT it. First of all, the smell is disgusting. It literally smells like a citronella candle. I was willing to look past that- but it literally did nothing for my hair. I noticed no changes, other than a gritty texture. 0/10 would not recommend.Alexandria L.

I love this stuff. I usually use The Fat and The Moon salt spray but, unable to get it from usual supplier I looked on Naturisimo to see what they had to offer. I looked at all the options, their ingredients etc. and chose this one since it seemed the cleanest and contains the least amount of ingredients. It has not disappointed and, though expensive is worth it. It’s just lush. My hair is thick and kind of silky so I find it really difficult to manage and not look flat and boring. This sea spay (applied while hair is wet and again whenever I feel I need it) offers a bit of texture to my hair so that I can scruff it up a bit and get that surf hair/French girl/just got out of bed look that appeals to me. Definite five stars from me. Will absolutely buy again and would wholeheartedly recommend.Rebecca R.

First time using sea salt spray and I love it. I did some research on various brands and decided on this brand. I needed something to add to my regimen for dry hair to give me volume without the weighted look to my wavy curly hair when I get up in the morning. This did the job better than expected, it smells nice, not sticky and my hair feels and looks soft. My regimen during the work week is I shower in the evening, add my hair products (leave-in conditioner, curly cream and light curly gel) and let air dry. This helps set my curls so I can style them the following morning. Depending on how my curls held up I will or will not use this spray on dry hair- if my hair looks flat I spray about 2 sprays per 1/3 of my scalp which is enough for my short hair. I haven't tried on wet hair which is also an option. I definitely recommend trying this if you want a voluminous soft beach wavy look. It maybe a bit pricey but this bottle will take me a while to finish- I'm estimating 6 months- so the price is reasonable.W1nelif3

This stuff is magical. This does more for my hair than blowdrying. It gives you the blowdried carry and volume and an excellent hold too. Touch up with some product if you want but it might not even be necessary. This is a daily essential for me.Matthew

This product was recommended by my son’s stylist and is simply amazing! I’ve used a lot of pomades, gels, etc. on my son’s hair and this is, hands down the BEST! My brother and my dad starting using this product recently. It’s a good gel to style the hair you wanted to look only for few hours. After the few hours, it starts to dry up and make it look very dry and flakey.melissa.g
