I'm not overly loyal to particular brands, but am rigid in my skincare routine, which includes cleanse, exfoliation of some degree, an eye treatment, serum, moisturizer, and at night I finish off with a face oil. I tried this one on a whim, since I love many Ordinary products and this seemed to be comparable and is a great price. I do like it, but my initial impression (as feared) was that it was not emollient enough. Like many products I try (and I try alot, as mentioned above I am routine rigid but not brand loyal) , when i used the few drops of this serum as indicated in the directions, I end up pulling and tugging my skin to get it spread all around my face. My skin isn't dry or anything, but I find myself using nearly a half or three quarters of a dropper full in order to get enough on my face to evenly and sufficiently spread around. Not a deal breaker at all, but just felt worth mentioning if you are like me and are really drawn to very emollient, rich products. I have only been using it a week and am so far happy with it, although I don't see any noticeable improvement that's not a concern to me since I am more looking for and expecting a product to maintain and preserve my already healthy looking skin. I honestly love using this product. I'm giving it two stars because there's not enough product in the bottle. The shipping with this company takes up to 4 weeks and each bottle only lasts 3 to 4 weeks if used correctly. So if I want to constantly have this product on hand I have to continously order it 1 to 2 weeks in advance. To me thats unexceptable when there's other competitors with products that also offer low prices with quality ingredients. I recently (earlier this month) purchased this serum from Good Molecules' online store and received it in the mail along with some other items from this company as well, yesterday. I just applied some not too long ago, so what I am about to describe is mainly just my first impression with this skincare item. First of all, the texture/consistency is nice and I would describe it as a light to medium serum to gellike consistency, is gentle and refreshing on my skin when first applied, absorbs into my skin quickly and easily/almost effortless, and is non irritating…I do notice a *slight* tingle on first applying the serum, but truly, only *ever so* slightly and my skin can definitely be on the sensitive side at least in certain areas fairly often (non t-zone areas). The price for this item was good and it was easily available for purchase online. I believe this item and brand is generally sold at Ulta, as well. This is something that does seem gentle and even upon first use to have a little bit of a brightening effect on my skin, is made from all good and healthy ingredients, and is fairly inexpensive. This is a product I would be very happy to recommend for people to give a try if they have not yet. 🙂 🌿

I think It bye bye dark spot works for me. I got few dark spots after I gave birth to my second daughter. Therefore I started using Kiehls dark spot. That took me at least 2 bottles to start working on my skin and then I added it to my collection. I came across IT dark spot when I was at Ulta. Since the price is really reasonable, I bought a 1oz bottle to try. The texture of this serum is more watery than K brand. It has a nice scent but does not last long. Normally after I finish applying my whole face the scent has already gone. It is easy to apply and absorbs well. I usually put the serum on my dark spots area only and massage the area for couple seconds each day. After finishing the whole bottle, I did notice my dark spots are lighter than before. As a person working in beauty, I’m pleasantly surprised with the potency! I love this serum! It reminds me a bit of CE Ferulic from Skinceuticals, just way cheaper lol. People are complaining it’s watery but what they don’t realize is that silicones and fillers in other products makes serums hydrating or thicker in texture, those things actually lower the effectiveness in vitamin c but this product doesn’t have those ingredients inside.
I literally see a difference in my skin in one use. It’s definitely an active vitamin c, it stings a bit, not unbearable though. I see a difference in hyperpigmentation if I use after I exfoliate at night and use spf during the day (spf is non-negotiable if you want to get rid of dark spots).

So I was looking in the mirror in the car just before a meeting and thought to myself oh Lordy, my pores are so visible so before the meeting I ordered this, I’ll admit I didn’t do much research I just read the description on here and thought right I’ll give it a go. I received this product complimentary from Gleamin in exchange for an honest review, so here it is — this is actually the first time I’ve ever used a skincare product that contains both vitamin C and niacinamide in the same formulation, and I have to say I am impressed! I have dry/sensitive skin, so I was worried it might be too strong and leave my face red/irritated after application. It did not do this at all. I can’t really speak to the long-term benefits of using this serum (i.e. efficacy at reducing the appearance of wrinkles) as I have only been using this twice/day for the past couple weeks, however in the short-term, this fragrance-free, non-sticky/non-tacky, fast-absorbing serum does impart a nice healthy-looking glow within minutes after application. Since my skin is baseline incredibly dry, I find that I need to layer this serum under a moisturizer, although I bet oily skin types may even be fine without. From looking at the product formulation/ingredients alone, I would give this a 5/5 (clinically-proven actives + free of common irritants like synthetic fragrance, artificial dyes, heavy preservatives, useless fillers, etc). All in all, I plan on continuing to use this serum until it runs out, and plan on purchasing more/incorporating this into my regular skincare routine if it proves to be effective in the long term. This is my first product from gLeamin. and I like it! This serum has a thin gel consistency and a very slight earthy natural scent (no added fragrances). I don't need to use much and it absorbs well. It immediately feels soothing on my skin and my skin feels soft and hydrated. With continued use, I am beginning to see a little glow. It works well for my oily/combo skin but I think anyone will enjoy using this. I love the hygienic pump packaging which works well. Beauty of Joseon is my favourite KBeauty brand by far. Has great ingredients and no added fillers and sensitizing components like fragrance and essential oils. This is one of the best hydrating serums I've used. I have pretty bad eczema flare ups and I usually go for this bottle whenever I do have one. You don't even need to use much so a bottle lasts me a long time! I have been using this serum along side other products for almost 3 weeks now and to be honest I did find a slight change in my skin. The texture of the serum is nice not too sticky and it dries great on the skin leaving no grease cast and gorgeous from within glow. I would say that the size is quite small for the price. Another thing, I didn’t breakout from this product which is good for my acne-prone skin. Highly recommend this for dry skin as well. It leaves my skin hydrated with nice glow and pairs well with my other skin care products. My skin is usually dry/sensitive. I wanted to take a break from my retinol product for the summer, but thought I'd try this for a continued bit of skin renewal/turnover. I've loved this product so far (having used it about 2 weeks now). You only need about 3-4 drops, so it should last a long time. It absorbs quickly without any greasiness and my skin feels much softer than on the days I don't use this product. I hate to give this a 1 star because it actually works. It doesn’t break my skin out or burn, and it actually evened out my skin tone and made it smoother. Why the negative review then? I can not in all good conscience recommended this to anyone I know or a stranger because the price per portion is absolutely insane. $24 for 0.5oz?!! That’s ridiculous, and the larger one is even a higher mark up. The Ordinary makes an equally great one for 1.0oz and it’s like $16. Change the price or make it bigger. I read reviews before purchasing this product and read that it smelled awful, but I thought it couldn’t possibly be that bad. No, it’s terrible. So bad that the first time applying it I nearly threw up about 3 times with it sitting on my face. HOWEVER, the applications after the first weren’t bad at all and I was used to it. I promise after the first run it’s not bad and it’s completely worth your time. This product makes my skin glow for real. I’ve only experienced a very small purge that was literally nothing compared to how my face reacts to other skincare products typically. I could see a difference after a few days of application twice a day and my skin is already looking so smooth and more even toned. First the packaging is very cathy because of the light blue boxing and labels. This is a different type of drops bottle that I've seen before. Very wide enough for more product. And made of glass. Directions were well easy to understand as well as the ingredients etc. The dropper is made of glass as well and holds a lot of product when using. I apply this serum twice a week in my morning and night skincare routine after cleaningand toner. The scent is very very much citrus and just like squeezed oranges. The texture is runny so be careful! But thickens up a bit when rubbed in. Glides on pretty well and not too oily. I would recommend using sparsely you don't want to be super moisturized. You can definitely notice right away the moisture from this serum. My skin feels very hydrated, soft and breathable. No hars scents, over drying, oiliness nor breakouts. I have hopes to notice my dark spots disappearing soon but we shall see in due time. Overall, I believe this serum can be a game changer for me. I've been plagued by sensitive/reactive/difficult skin for most of my adult life and received diagnoses that range from acne through peri-oral dermatitis to, most recently, rosacea. Even dermtologists don't seem to be sure what the problem is. Al I can definitely say is that azealic acid is great at calming things down. It's not miraculous: it has taken more than six months' of usage for me to see a marked improvement but, in my opinion, it works to reduce inflammation, smooth texture and even pigmentation. I apply it (generously) only at night because it is just one layer too many during the daytime, under sun protection cream and foundation. It may have a quicker effect for those who use for an entire 24 hours. For reference, I can't tolerate any form I've so far tried of retinolid but the azealic acid has never irritated my skin.. I use it in combination with niacinimide on spot-prone areas. A month agao I stopped taking the long term antibiotic I was prescribed for its anti-inflammatory rather than anti-microbial effect because it never worked very consistently or well on its own, and because I was worried about the side effects. The positive results from the azaelic acid have given me the confidence to bin the pills and – so far – my face is doing fine.Jeremiad
This has been a life saver while pregnant. I haven't had much acne in my life but when I got pregnant it seemed to flare up worse than ever. A lot of the other products I would use for other skincare concerns or sporadic acne I was unable to use while pregnant. I first bought the smaller size which is only 10 dollars then the large size for 20. It does not get any better than that. The large tube has lasted me two months so far and still has a ton left in it. I definitely can't use this product alone because it can go on a little dry., I do have dryer skin though. The ordinary always delivers with the bests price and quality products that work. I love how the products are simple, no fragarance and takes most of the guessing out of the equation. Sometimes the brand can be confusing when knowing what products to buy or mix but this is a product that can mix with pretty much everything if not everything (I don't know of anything it does not layer well with. As a preface, I'm trying to cut out actives from my routine that are for proactive prevention, and am substituting those for actives that address problems I currently have with my skin as my skin is sensitive. I bought this and used it every day for a week when I started breaking out on my forehead, chin, and cheeks. Most of my acne is on my cheeks, but breaking out on my forehead and chin was new so I knew it was because of this product. I really want to love this since I know azelaic acid is good for both active acne and acne scars. I followed the instructions on the box and applied this after serums and before moisturizers. The only other active I use at the moment is niacinamide (and propolis, not sure if that counts as an active ingredient), see my routine below for more details. Any tips or suggestions from fellow acne-prone/sensitive skin people would be greatly appreciated! Love this product. I have acne prone skin and just started using vitamin c serum in my routine. My skin now has a very good brightness that it did not have before I added this to my routine. I also use a lot of other products by Dr. Dennis Gross which include alpha beta wash, alpha beta peel extra strength, retinol peel, retinol serum, steamer, led mask, and clinical strength peel. Also use acne sulphuric mask, pads, and gel sometimes when skin needs it. The products work together to make my skin soft and healthy. I've tried a lot of Vitamin C serums, but this one is just right! I LOVE this product. This is a high quality vitamin C serum by a dermatologist who backs his products with research. It has a lightweight viscosity that absorbs into skin quickly. However it can leave a bit of a film of stickiness, so not recommended to wear under makeup alone, as it has the potential to pill.Better suited for nighttime routine. Packaging is excellent, as the pump delivers the right amount, not too much, not too little, two pumps should be sufficient for face and décolletage. Skin is brighter. I have been on the hunt for a vitamin C serum since the beginning of COVID and after being recommended this I was initially sceptical due to the price and the amount of product you are receiving. However, after taking the plunge I'm glad to say I would never look back. The results from this Dr. Dennis serum are incredible. I have struggled with mild acne scarring, pigmentation and uneven texture for most of my adult life and only just after 3 weeks of purchasing i'm beginning to see significant results. My acne scarring and pigmentation have both improved remarkably and are starting to even out and become subtle. I've also noticed an overall increase of smoothness of my skin texture. I would usually use this of a night on a clean face before a moisturiser. It can be paired with other serums for an even better and deeper effect, however should be researched first. I would recommend 1-2 pumps as this provides enough coverage for the entire face and even the neck area. My skin is usually glowing the morning after. I heard a lot of good things about ZO products from my cosmetologist that I decided to try them. I got the brightalive and the Retinol 1% as recommended both from the ZO quiz and a medical professional (I have acne scars and uneven skin tone). I was trying to find any information on how to use each of the products on the ZO website with no help. Therefore, I decided to use the brightalive cream in the mornings (I used sunscreen as usual) and be very careful with the retinol (I used it twice a week). After a couple of weeks my skin started to peel (that is one of the side effects of the retinol and I was okay with it) unfortunately, as it was peeling my skin started to get red and finally dark. This retinol is the holy grail of all retinols. Let me tell you – IT WORKS. My mom became immune to the retinol she was using and every other one that was supposedly stronger had no effect on her skin…. until this. It’s so strong she’s only using it once a week rather than every night like other retinols. If you don’t have a tolerance, start small and be patient. I tried it and didn’t see any difference until the third day. Then came the peeling, redness and swelling. It was crazy. It continued for several days, basically like getting a chemical peel. I’ve only used it tonight for the first time & I couldn’t quite believe my eyes, after about 10 mins my whole face looked slightly lighter & the melasma mask-like patches on my forehead & under my eyes less intense & brown. I’ve tried I feel everything from vit c to retinol to glycolic & lactic acids to peels, micro needling & an led face therapy mask with barely any success, and with the intense sun this summer in the uk, even using spf 30+ everyday it’s still found a way to increase. Lately I’ve been experiencing redness, flakiness, tightness and increased breakouts and rashes all over my face due to over exfoliation. Thankfully, this product was here to help my poor skin. So what are ceramides? Ceramides are lipids that help form the skin’s barrier and help skin retain moisture. Without the proper ratio of ceramides, the skin’s barrier can become compromised, leading to dryness, itching and irritation. There are also researches that indicate that ceramides are actually helpful anti-aging agents. I don't use this on my face, but I've been using it on my legs after an accident that left me with multiple scars (nothing deep or raised, but confidence-knocking all the same). 3 months (as suggested) has improved the texture and discolouration of my skin to the point where you can barely tell it was ever wounded. I'm snow-pale so this is an impressive result. Be consistent and it works. Texture is silky and lightweight, too, which just feels nice to apply when you're feeling down about your skin. Only downside is the pump – it's a great value product but I still hate throwing out the bottle without being able to scoop out the last scraps of it!L

I’ve used a few Vitamin C serums, but this has been by far my favorite so far. It doesn’t have that awful “hot dog water” smell like so many of them have— it does have a mild scent, but nothing overwhelming. I’ve noticed my skin looks radiant and glowy, in a way it didn’t before. It actually feels softer and more hydrated as well. I think it’s pricey, for the size given, but I think I’m gonna have to replace my other Vitamin C serum with this one. I’m a big fan. The only reason I left a star off is because it’s too soon to tell if it’ll brighten my skin, but so far I’m very impressed. It’s also worth noting— I have dry and sensitive skin. This serum has worked wonders for my light to brown, combo skin. I have always struggled with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation; resulting from almost any skin irritation. From a light squeeze on a pimple to tiny scratch, it always leaves my skin with a darkened mark. Using the serum AM and PM, the serum has cleared the older marks and keeps my skin overall very clear. I have left extremely positive reviews on other products by Tula and will continue to buy from this amazing company. The products are always so surprisingly amazing and I pretty much solely use Tula now even though I love trying new brands and have got through so many brands and products throughout the years. I truly that my skin is getting used to this serum, but so far I’ve used it 7 times and every time my skin is beautifully bright, but unfortunately red splotches develop and luckily don’t last, but they look raised and red and irritated. Maybe my skin is too sensitive to this product. Again, Tula is my new go to brand that I rave about to everyone and only wish I discovered it sooner. The serum doesn’t seem to work for me though. This shrank my pores so much that my face naturally looks clearer. My stubborn dark spots which is a residue of my hormonal pimples became less visible. I've been struggling with acne and mainly acne scars for about 3 years now. I've tried different kinds of medication, different kinds of skincare products and so many other methods, and nothing worked. I wouldn't say this magically cleared my skin up, but it did help my acne scars fade a lot more. I was hesitant to buy this because I never used a face wash in a jar. My esthetician recommended it and after I was running out of my normal Obagi face wash, I gave it a shot. It is seriously the best!! I have been using it only a few weeks and only in the morning and my skin looks so much better!! I’ve used this PCA Skin product for a little over two weeks but have used it morning and night. It seems to be lightening a few stubborn dark spots already. The spots weren’t extreme, but I know they are there and try to cover them when applying makeup. The product is a generous size and reasonably priced. The one downside is it’s hard too wait two minutes with it on your face especially when trying to rush to get ready for work. And be careful with the 3 thin sponges that come in the box because they are deceiving! With an accidental few drops of water on the 3 together, I inflated all of them instantly. But, I think it’s a good product that does what the advertising says it will.
I bought this product a little over 2 months ago and I my dark spots that was more of a dark mask on my jawline is completely gone. I have tried everything, and I mean everything to not only fight acne which left ugly embarrassing scars on my face every rime. This has a been a personal battle of mine since I was a teenager and I am now 33 years old. I would have terrible outbreaks during that time of the month and often get huge cysts pimples that would be very painful and would take forever to go away, and of course leave huge dark spots all along my cheeks, chin and jawline. I love the product but am very disappointed with packaging. When I could no longer pump product out I tried to take off the cap. It will not come off. Since I couldn’t get anymore out I cut the tube. This happened 2 weeks ago and there is still enough product for at least 10 days or so. I keep it in a small ziplock bag. T he is is a terrible waste of money if you don’t cut the tube. I just switched to the ZoSkin Ossential Vitamin C – I was using the ZoSkin MelaminC w hydroquinone for one year. I decided ( with my aesthetician) to take a break from the hydroquinone and try this. I'm on week 2 and it's fantastic. After my GSR.. it Must be the FIRST product applied to your face… ( after exfoliating w the polish and then Toner) to fully absorb to its highest potential. Then I wait about 10-15 min and finish the rest of my ""a.m"" regimen. Finally finishing with the SPF before I start my makeup application ( if I'm heading Out to work) if I'm home that day. I just let all the Zo goodness sink in! This product will feel grainy, and that MAY cause you to want to pump More out.. but don't. Use 1 -1/2 pump in your fingertips and then gently apply all over face towards forehead and Around eyes.not on your lids! Then you feel like you still need a little bit more 1/4 pump on your décolleté and neck. This product WILL brighten and your skin NEED vitamin C. 10% is phenomenal for a non RX. The MelaC is 20% but after my Fractional CO2 laser in May… I finished that and now giving my skin a 3 month break from hydroquinone – but still allowing myself the full benefits from Ossential C !! It's just amazing. It has transformed my entire outlook on my skin and health of my skin that is now rubbing off on my daughter and her friends. I just love this serum. I was unsure about it when I ordered it based on other reviews and because I had been using other products with niacinamide and tranexamic acid for a while, without seeing many results. If you are sensitive to bad smells this is not the serum for you. HOWEVER, if you are like me, who struggles with acne and hyperpigmentation and are desperate for something that works, get this NOW. Yes the smell is actually horrible but this stuff works. I have been using this for a few months, I started with once a week and have built up usage to every night and it has done wonders for my hyperpigmentation. I found that most hyperpigmentation products ive used before tend to work on only new spots but have a harder time treating deeper marks. While it takes a little more consistency, this product reaches those longtime spots and even my partner has seen them fade significantly. The only reason why I give this product 4/5 stars is because the smell (which lingers and is horrible) and the packaging which gets bent and mishapen super easily. This is literally the only product besides tretinoin that has faded my pih. I was on rx hydroquinone and every vitamin c serum I could find including skinceuticals and everything in between, and nothing worked! Hydroquinone works with time but it also dries & irritates, so while your on it you don’t see much happening. *Topicals faded* erraticated a bunch of bad breakouts due to trying new products & 8 red/purple spots in about 4 days. People definitely over exaggerate the scent. It has the scent of sulfur like 4 days after a perm. It’s faint and goes away after a minute & leaves a scent that is amazing! So amazing I was smelling everywhere trying to figure out what it was lol. I’m so glad I didn’t pass on it based on bad reviews. The closest thing I can compare the scent to is head and shoulders dandruff shampoo and if your constantly using sulfur products like me… It won’t phase you. I love that it applies seamlessly and I can use it over my vitamin c and under my serums without pilling AND it doesn’t burn. This stuff is chok full of amazing ingredients. The only thing comparable is peace out skin dark spot serum but that’s not the best choice for trentinoin users with sensitized skin. If you give this a chance and let the scent subside you will definitely see good results. Texture is not watery but more like a syrup. It has a mild floral scent which disappears quickly after applying. Skin appears to be hydrated and glow after use. I've heard of this brand via Korean youtubers so when I saw it was on sale I grabbed two lol. The packaging is nice – it comes in a sturdy plastic bottle, so it's not as fragile and heavy as glass but also doesn't feel cheap. Maybe I've bought into the hype, but the toner is quite hydrating and not like the watery kind. It's a touch sticky, but nothing too unbearable so I like it.
