Good experience. As many have said I have dealt with acne since I was 12 I’m now 38 and my acne changed location, size and type. So I was stumped on how to battle it. I already was using a brand and line I really enjoyed and felt my skin looked bright and clean but then my acne shifted and it my routine could not keep up with the new acne. I’ve used the harshest products to the gentlest of products. AA caused no burning, flaking, patchiness or pain. I went thru the purge phase nothing shocking if you have honestly dealt with acne your whole life. And I did see improvements. My only complaint is why is the toner not included in the kit. If you want a complete acne line up you NEED the toner before adding it to my routine my face would sometimes seen dull or muted. I don’t wear makeup and after switching to this routine something was missing and when I looked in the mirror I felt washed out not bright even with clearer skin but I got the toner and gave it a month and it made a huge difference. If you are using this and feel something is making you feel less then 100% happy try adding the toner it makes a huge difference. After cleansing (and this may be meant to be this way) there is a layer of oil or product still on the skin, when using the toner it seems to wipe away some or help some absorb into the face and then my face began to feel bright again so please try this before giving up on the routine.Diana D.
SO I've had Curology for abt 6 months now and I've seen little to no improvement in my skin throughout the entirety of me using it.. I saw Averr's mask spray around a year ago and it had been on my mind since. My acne has been pretty mild but after being required to wear masks in a super busy environment, it had worsened tenfold. My acne became these huge, large bumps deep in my skin and my picking from anxiety created deep, angry scarring. I have been fighting acne since my early teens, and after dealing with extremely severe hormonal and cystic acne I ended up using 5+ prescription medications. I first used this product in November of 2018 and had great results. For the first time in my adult like I actually had zero blemishes and the results were incredibly consistent. I went months without a pimple or zit. For as long as I could remember, I always had something going on, including a period where it seemed like ever pimple became a painful sebaceous cysts that would takes months to heal. The original formula was a fairly opaque, greenish-white serum with a lotion-like consistently that was easy to apply and spread. A few drops went a long way.When I went to reorder earlier this year, I was shocked to see this TruSkin serum was out of stock with no indication if or when it would be available. I ordered a competitor's product that appeared to be the exact same formula (similar or same percentages of key ingredients) but double the amount. What I received was very watery and difficult to apply because it was so runny. I assumed it was he same as TruSkin but the seller was diluting the formula.Fast forward to September 2019 and TruSkin has this product back in stock. In high school and college, I had little to no acne, but I did encounter staph at some point during time in athletics– which if you don't know, is hard to get rid of and is a serious issue. The worst part was the bacteria was on my face, so when I'd get a pimple from time to time, they would quickly develop into an abscess. So I have PCOS which causes me to have hormonal acne at the wonderful age of 34. I thought I would be done with it after my teenage years but that is not the case. This has been a holy grail serum of mine for years among the first product I tried from this brand before they were carried by Ulta and were just a YouTube name. Love Tula to date and their insanely quality formulas full of truly powerhouse ingredients even if many are too heavy for my skin but this serum is truly unique. I always use serums for all my actives to keep my skin clear and balanced among anti aging prevention. That perfect balance for me is retinol, vit c, bha, and niacinamide. Aside from the last many years there were next to no concentrated bha full face serum products that were in gentle balancing formulas. They just stripped with alcohol or irritating formulas or like cult staples Paula's Choice BHA liquid left insanely greasy films. This product absorbs as effrotlessly as water among cools and leaves your skin feeling super deep cleaned while hydrated at the same time. With no heaviness or unneeded added moisture which anyone whose blemish/oily prone doesnt look for in treatment products. I get my moisture from gentle cleansers and moisturizers but I also dont use actives that strip my skin. It really is the rare formula of this product in having so many soothing and calming ingredients with the Salicylic Acid that make it so impressive purely because no on else in the market worldwide comes close. I have found since a few staples and non greasy bha liquids I enjoy but this product will always be my diehard staple I alternate nightly with retinol. Whether my skin is perfectly balanced and it just keeps my pores clear or if I need calming from trying out new products it works like nothing I have ever tried and not typical of chemical exfoliants. I received a free trial size of the clear it up acne clearing and tone correcting gel and the acne foaming cleanser in one of my orders last year. I had used Tula before, and liked how it contained probiotics, superfoods, and was a clean skin product, so I figured I would shelf my current facial cleanser (which wasn't doing much) and give these two products a try for a month. I have combo skin (that can be a little more dry at times) that's a little sensitive due to my autoimmune disease. Additionally, I've always had large pores on my cheeks, chin, and nose. I had tried many salicylic acid cleansers, AHA/BHA mask resurfacers, and glycolic acid toners to try to reduce the pores and get rid of my acne, but they always fell short. I thought beautiful, pore-less skin was a myth. That was until I tried these products. I kid you not my skin looked a m a z i n g. After a couple weeks there was not a single pore in sight! Everybody i met up with said my skin looked like glass, or they'd ask what foundation and primer I was using. I felt like a goddess! Needless to say, I ran out of the products while I was on vacation in Hawaii, so I wasn't able to keep up with the routine. This gel is exactly what I've been needing for a very long time! I apologize in advance if the is tmi for anyone but I felt I should share in case someone else has this issue. Ever since I hit puberty I've had really severe and painful underarm acne. I cannot even tell you how many different deodorants I went through trying to find one that didn't make it worse but never found one that made it better. I then tried various products geared toward sensitive underarms but nothing really stuck. However, this gel has been a godsend. I got a sample of it a while back and decided to try it on some facial acne and then a few underarm spots and let me tell you I was amazed. After 2 uses the areas under my arms hurt so much less. Okay, i have to leave a review because 1. this has been a staple product among the rest of my usual high end skin care for YEARS but 2. I feel like it only works on certain types of skin to make a difference. I used this all through high school and never really had acne so I couldn’t totally see the results of it. my skin is very dry and somewhat sensitive but this year once I started working out I started getting a little acne on my chin here and there and ended up using something from proactive with A LOT of retinol that ABSOLUTELY destroyed my skin barrier. my skin on my chin was chapped, insanely dry and red and after that acne started popping up everywhere on my chin, but not like regular pimples. they were huge and dry/cyst like. I started using harsh products and oily skin face wash to get rid of it (i’ve never had experience with acne so in my mind acne=oily skin) but little did i know it was because my skin barrier was so destroyed and dried up that THAT was the reason for all my breakouts! I decided to stop with all the harsh products and start from the basics with gentle, moisturizing products again. my skin was definitely thanking me for it but still had a small amount of acne on my chin. after applying hydrating toner and serum I would apply this product for my acne. my skin has been clearing faster than ever which shows me this product is not too drying and the perfect formula for my skin to help with my acne but also keep the skin moisturized. my skin barrier is still a work in progress lol but this product has been a lifesaver for me. not too much or too little, but just right for the dry/sensitive skin breakouts!d
The scent smells so good. I expected the size to be bigger but it's as big as my palm. The packaging looks nice and sturdy. It feels cool on the skin after applying. One of the reason why I bought this was because of its benefits and its ingredients, particulary salicylic acid which helps in combatting acne. I came across a magazine ad of Exposed Skincare system when I was on the verge of giving up all hope after using Murad's system for one year without any success, and hearing negative reviews of the over-drying side effects of Proactiv from family and friends. I read the product descriptions and thought why not switch over at a much lower cost and see if its claims are true by trying out the system for a while! Well, that was April 2013 and I've been a devoted Exposed Skincare user for more than four years! This system WORKS!! You must be very diligent using all products in the system (Exposed Expanded Kit ) for a least one year. As time went on in the 6th month mark, I began to notice my skin gradually cleared up from existing acne with very rare new acne formation. By one year time, my face hardly had any acne at all! It is an amazing system and I have very stubborn skin. I've been battling acne since puberty. I am pushing 50 this year and I still have an occasional breakout from time to time. Thankfully, I did not have severe cystic acne, but I tend to breakout on both sides of cheeks with one or two juicy pimples and little zits on chin the T-zone. Thank to Exposed Skincare system, my stubborn acne issues drastically subsided and under controlled, and I've tapered off the the system a bit, but I do use the face wash and the clearing tonic religiously on the daily basis. I purchased this skin care about 6 months ago and have used it ever since. I really appreciated the packaging and instructions/tips that came in the box. It is a great basic cleanser and toner. I also think that the serums cause any breakouts to heal much faster than normal. If I ever neglect to use the cleanser for a couple of days, I can tell in my skin immediately. I didn’t rate 5 stars because both times I have ordered the kit, I’ve run out of cleaner and toner long before either serum but the cleanser is almost as expensive as the entire kit so it is a bit of a nuisance. I wish that the kit came with a larger bottle of cleanser and toner so that they run out around the same time as the serums. I have battled acne for 30 years! Over the years I have tried so many prescription creams on my sensitive skin. When applied to my face they all have caused burning, itching, my skin peeling, my eyes got swollen on one, some didn't work, and one that worked ended up not being covered under my insurance and cost a fortune without it. I've battled with hormonal and cystic acne for a long time and it's been especially bad the last 2 years. I bought this set (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) to try and it has honestly been the ONLY thing that drastically reduced my oiliness and while I still get those big hormonal acne spots that's painful and has no head, it's significantly less. I bought this moisturizer on Amazon after previously using a $23 one that I finally used up. I wasn’t really expecting much as I think it only had 24 reviews but the majority were positive and for $10.99 I decided to try it out. Firstly, it’s lightweight but hydrates my skin and this is important for me because heavy moisturizers just irritate my skin that is already acne prone and can lead to me breaking out. Secondly, it has quality ingredients that are understandable and what I’ve been specifically looking for in a moisturizer, my last moisturizer had salicylic acid but didn’t offer many other beneficial ingredients that weren’t too harsh for the skin like this one. I have been using this with the toner now and my dark spots are fading from a recent whitehead breakout I had which turned into a huge pimple and left a really dark mark behind, I I feel like the two combined are really benefiting my skin. Lastly, this moisturizer is just everything my skin needs, it isn’t going to be for everyone and that’s a given with any product so remain open minded, but if you have normal skin (slightly oily around my t-zone and normal everywhere else) this could work for you and hopefully it does!KJTW
Listen, I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old. I have tried so many products on my face throughout the years. This is a lightweight moisturizer that never makes my combination/oily skin feel greasy. Nor does it make it feel tight or dry. My skin is ultra sensitive to products and I never have any stinging or tingling. I have noticed fewer breakouts and when I do inevitably have a pimple, I stick a peach slices acne patch on and typically it's gone within 2 to 3 days. I have gotten multiple comments on my skin from different people since I started using this moisturizer; including that my skin looks hydrated and glowy and beautiful. Which is some thing that was never said about my skin. The tiniest bit of product goes a long way too and I straight up just use this durning the day every day instead of CeraVe's moisturizing lotion… and wishing a couple of weeks my skin has looked wonderful. Oh man! How do I even begin. I first heard of Tula because one of my favorite bloggers recommended a sunscreen (she was raving about how well it went under her makeup). I never got around to trying it out but that's how I found out about TULA. In the past year and a half I was on and off BC. I was on it for 2-3 months.. off of it for two months .. on it for 4 off of it for another 3 months and so on and so forth. Obviously i'm messing with my hormones so they went crazy and my skin freaked out. The mask did not help at all I feel like it was a mix of maskne and my hormones tbh. I tried so many products and nothing worked. I was so upset so many times. I have never had acne like this to the point where my bf even questioned it (not in a bad way) but him even bringing it up made me feel self conscious because he knew my skin was never like this. I wanted to cry every time I looked in the mirror. My make up looked so different. I wanted to keep my mask on at all times even when i was around people i felt comfortable. As I mentioned nothing worked. Most products either made it worse, made my skin oily, or just felt like they were sitting on my skin and not being absorbed by it. I came across this routine.. I kept the products in their boxes in the ULTA bag I bought them in because I had a feeling I would end up returning them. Night 1 and the smell was awful I guess i'm not used to the tea tree smell however the following morning i noticed a huge difference in the size of my pimples. Every day I would wake up and notice a difference in my skin. The cleanser is very drying but it has now been 7 days and my skin feels so different and is starting to clear up significantly. The texture of my skin has changed so much it feels so much softer. In fact, It took care of some acne scars/ texture around chin that I had pre pandemic/ BC. My skin has never been perfect.. I would always get a random pimple here and there especially around my period. I have acne scars but little ones nothing a couple Microneedling sessions might be able to fix since the scarring isn't too bad. For 7 days I am so impressed and so thankful. For twenty years I used a three step system for acne. Throughout the years, I tried different products but always went back to my three step system. I decided I needed to use something better for my skin, especially as it ages, so I after reading many reviews decided to try Tula's Level 3 Acne Clearing Routine kit. I read on many websites that skin purging is normal when changing products and could take around eight weeks. Sure enough, within days of making the switch, my skin started to purge. I decided to trust the process. I could tell it was not reacting badly to Tula, but working. Just at the eight week mark, I stopped breaking out and my skin was clear. Foam cleanser: it’s fine. makes my face feel a lil tight and it feels a bit like it’s trying too hard to fight my oily skin. Might try adding in a hydrating toner to counteract that. 3.5/5 Spot treatment: again, it’s fine. it’s supposed to help even skin tone and fade old acne scars but maybe I just have some really stubborn scars, bc even after a month my maskne spots all over my chin are… still there. it does seem to help with my active breakouts maybe? also might be wishful thinking. 3.5/5 the moisturizer: can you ever call this a moisturizer??? This product did not work for me. I recently changed my skin care regime and added this. I wasn’t seeing any good results but I did some digging and found that this product contains Laureth-4 which is a pore clogging chemical. To test my theory that this was the issue, I did everything the same except I used this product on only one cheek. Within days, I noticed the cheek I was using it on was not getting any better, while the other side and my forehead was starting to look noticeably clearer. I used this product once and it completely destroyed my face. It made it extremely itchy, red, and bumpy. I got an intense allergic reaction from this yet I've never had a problem with other benzoyl peroxide products from other brands. I've been taking lots of bendaryl and had to purchase anti itch cream. Now my face is very dry and bumpy. This whole experience has been horrendous. I can't even return this product and get my money back because they expect you to pay for shipping! And shipping from Canada to USA is almost the cost of the product! I'm here to purchase the full size after buying the travel size to try out. I was desperate. I've used a complete skincare routine for years and my skin was in great shape. Clear and smooth. Then, menopause hit. I started on a HRT regime. My skin went crazy. It was as if I was 14 again and not in a good way. I bought this when I was having awful hormonal acne as a last ditch effort to help improve my skin, and while in the beginning it def did dry my skin out and I flaked severely, the end result only a good 4/5 days later was worth it. My skin is smooth and free of acne. I’ve always had a red face (according to dermatologists I’ve seen in the past it’s not rosacea lol even tho I’m skeptical about that diagnosis) so I don’t expect that to go away but when it has come to the acne that has plagued me for most my life this really did help out in getting it under control. The period where it dried me out did suck but I used first aid’s moisturizer to help negate the dryness. I picked up this kit because I recently went off the pill and started experiencing some acne flareups. I had terrible acne as a teenager and tried almost everything (including pretty much every drugstore benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid on the market) before going on accutane. That worked wonders, but I still experience the occasional blackheads and hormonal acne. I have sensitive skin to begin with since stopping accutane my skin is prone to flakiness when using strong actives. I have not had that problem at all with this kit, even though I started off with applying the treatments every day. The acne on my chin went from angry and red and infected to completely smoothed out with just slight post-acne marks in three days. I have never had salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide products work that quickly and with such minimal irritation before. I've kept the exfoliating solution and skin clearing treatment away from the parts of my face that tend to be drier and don't experience breakouts, which probably also helps to minimize irritation. The moisturizer hydrates effectively without any sort of oily residue and leaves a matte finish. While the products have made the sebaceous filaments on my nose less noticeable they have not gotten rid of them entirely, though at this point I don't think anything will. I'm so impressed that I've ordered a few more products from Paula's Choice including the full size of the cleanser in this kit and a niacinamide toner that I'm hoping will help to reduce the look of my pores further.rachelr127

I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. The serum feels hydrating, non-sticky, and has very light creamy/gel texture. The serum absorbs into the skin nicely and helps reduce some of my dark spots and provides a nice glow. I loved this set to try out the brand. The superfood cleanser is a new favourite and I already have bought a full sized version. It leaves your skin super clean but no stripped and smells exactly how I would like a cleanser to smell. The moisturiser is really nice and super hydrating and nice to apply. The eye cream is also amazing and feels so soft under your eyes. The vitamin C serum smells AMAZING (like ginger) and feels very brightening and glowy – I definitely also have this on my list to buy a full sized version. The oil is nice and I like to use it before gua sha. I have tried the peel yet (as my skin is very sensitive) but even without this the set was worth it to me!katy
I think the only one I won't be buying full sized is the exfoliating mask but just because I wouldn't use it much. Everything feels amazing! The eye cream was a real show stealer! Along with the dream oil which I mixed with the moisturizer for a thicker night time cover. I'll be going back for some full sized versions once I run out. The eye cream seems like it'll last ages with the small amount you use. I think the Vitamin C will run out quicker if used daily. This small bundle of beauty opened the door to happy & healthy skin for me during this pandemic. I had been intensely searching for some clean products that would heal my new adult/acne induced by stress and mask wearing. I absolutely loved these products. They are formulated to moisturize and hydrate the same way your natural skin oils would, and they achieve exactly that. I have combination skin type, and it can be very difficult to find the perfect formula, as most products will either make my skin too oily or not moisturize/hydrate enough. These products contain very safe ingredients, are verified by the environmental work group (EWG), are vegan, cruelty free, nontoxic, paraben free and environmentally friendly. They are exactly what I was looking for. I did breakout a little bit around the third day of using them, but I’m honestly convinced it was because I could not stop touching my face after applying them due to my skin feeling so velvety. After the fifth or sixth day my skin was healed, and looking and feeling hydrated. Since their main ingredient (squalane) is a version of an oil naturally produced by our skin, they claim the skin recognizes the product and absorbs it immediately preventing the skin from feeling greasy. I can 100% confirm that is how it works, at least on combination skin. I bought this set because I wanted to try both the Omega Repair Cream and the Squalane and Algae Eye Cream. These items are fairly pricey by themselves, so to get smaller versions of them with other Biossance items is a must-have if you want to try them all before you buy them separately. They appear quite small but they do last a sufficient amount of time to notice changes in your skin. I loved the lightweight nature of the probiotic gel moisturiser; the rose oil also smells and feels divine. The eye cream is soft and gentle but I have not noticed much differene to my skin with it. The same could be said for the lactic acid serum, which feels good in application but that it about it. Meanwhile, I'm not a huge fan of the omega repair cream: it is very cakey and does not smell very nice. This is the first time I've ever had a HOLY GRAIL skin product. I was originally using Paula's choice bha exfoliant and wasn't really seeing any results. But with this one, WOAH! It doesn't go on oily like Paula's choice, and it also have glycolic acid and lactic acid for extra exfoliating power. BE CAREFUL! When I first started using this I was so happy with my results I was using it every day and it caused my skin to become over exfoliated, super shiny, and destroyed my skin barrier. I took a month break and now I only use it twice a week, with at least three days in between each use. My skin haven't looked this great in over a year. Even though I no longer use the Paula's choice liquid exfoliant I still use the PC oil reducing cleanser which pairs great with this. Nice light formula. I was looking for an alternative to Paula’s Choice 2% BHA for pore maintenance and I think I found it. This toner seems to do the job and has a clean finish. It doesn’t leave the oily residue which I didn’t like with the Paula’s Choice. Perfect for the daytime routine as it gives me a clean slate for the rest of my regiment and doesn’t interfere with makeup. I am so happy with this toner. I have now been using it for two days and in only those two days I have seen a difference and the only new products added to my skincare routine have been this toner and the moisturizer that is also available. I use a cleanser by another brand that contains salicylic acid but since using the toner and moisturizer I have seen the biggest improvements. My dark spots are fading each day, this has become an insecurity of mine as a recent whitehead breakout turned pimples left a dark mark on the side of my chin and ever since using the toner, the mark has lessened in colour significantly. I’ve been using it the 3 times daily and haven’t experienced any dryness, I use the moisturizer right after and that sinks in so quickly but hydrates my skin as much as it needs. Greasy and thick moisturizers just irritate my acne prone skin and usually lead to a breakout or redness. This was a very basic,nice moistrizer. Not enough moisture for me at night,or even during the day,really,but excellent under something heavier to help with my redness and also has a beautiful cooling sensation. Very light,easily-sinks-in gel cream texture and the aloe is great for inflammation. While I don’t suffer from acne,I definitely do get the occasional hormonal pimple and I’m redness prone. Being very fair, this is more evident on me. This will be a great cream for the Summer months(layered over/with an SPF,always,during the day!). I can see this working wonders for oily,ir acne-prone skin. The scent-free formula also helps with aggravating skin. It’s a good moisturizer. Creamy white with a light aloe scent. The texture is nice, like a gel cream. It absorbs well into the skin. It gives a nice cooling sensation when placed on the skin. It dries matte. Would probably be best suited for someone with oily skin. It may not be moisturizing enough for someone with extremely dry skin. I would say that its not ideal for cold winter weather as it’s very light. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, I would advise against using this. I used Clean and Clear aloe vera calming gel moisturizer, for 2 weeks straight, and not only did I absolutely love the texture, but it moisturized my skin and kept it moisturized, all through the day; without leaving any kind of greasy residue on my skin. I was not familiar with gel cream texture, but I must say, a little goes a very long way, and it saturates into the skin so quickly. The scent was very light and pleasant. It does not linger. It was also very soothing and Cooling as soon as I put it on my skin. I love using this not only every night and during the day; but after exfoliating & just anytime my skin felt irritated, or needed an extra boost of hydration. Finally found the perfect cleanser for my face and skin type. I've already noticed a huge difference in overall oil reduction, texture, and clogged pores, so I'm pleased. I have combo oily/dry skin on my face, so some areas over produce oil and some areas are drier than a desert. But a couple of things I noticed about this cleanser is it works really well to unclog the oily areas and keep them moisturized a bit. After about 4 days, I did notice the salicylic acid starting to work and my face was flaking off, but that's what it's supposed to do. So I added some Jergens Ultra Healing lotion to my routine and WOW it's effective. The dry parts of my face are moist, the oily parts are moist but not oily. Would recommend.Luftherz
I have been dealing with constant breakouts for years, since middle school, and I’m 22 now. I just started using this face wash in May 2022 and it has been a life saver. Not only did it clear my breakouts but if I do breakout, it’s one or two pimples. Which for me is more than manageable and an improvement. It also has gradually been fading my acne scars as well. I have now sworn by this face wash to friends and family. This face wash is extremely gentle as my skin didn’t “purge” like it has when I first started using other face washes. I received the CeraVe Acne Control Cleanser for reviewing purposes. I have combination skin nose and chin very oily, forehead is super dry rest of face is normal. I also get hormonal acne. With all that said I find this product actually whole line really great. I have only been using for about 3 weeks so I am just over the purging stage but I am seeing my pores getting smaller also not having as much redness. It also great at getting a full face of makeup off. I recommend this product to everyone just know your skin will do a pruge so your skin will look worst before it looks better.Sami

This is a great set if you are extremely oily or are breakout prone to thick moisturizers. I enjoy the lather and scent of the face wash. The tea tree reminds me of a very effective face wash that was effective but not at all luxurious as this wash. The breakout clearing booster is a solid performing product for what it is and I appreciate the smaller size because I don't feel married to the product. (I will use it up before my lifetime is complete) However, my problem with this set is the moisturizer. This just isn't sufficient for me… so I'm using this more as a serum and layering it with another moisturizer during these winter months. I can see the moisturizer working for me if this is what I put on in the summer, after showering from a workout. I feel like you need to have super oily skin for this to be compatible with your skin. I recently got to try out the Clear Start Breakout Clearing Kit complimentary from Dermalogica, and I have to say it is fabulous. It is a 3 piece system formulated to help treat breakouts. It deep cleans, purifies, spot treats, clears, refines & hydrates in three simple sets. It all starts with the foaming wash. I felt this working as soon as I applied it to my skin. It lathers nicely, and left my skin feeling pampered and super clean. Next, the booster spot treats are exactly what they sound like they would be. I opted to apply a thin layer to my most prone spots of blemishes and breakouts — my chin and jawline. It can be used to spot treat specific breakouts as well. I started getting cystic acne bumps a couple months ago and was using Stridex to keep it under control. It helped, but I was hoping for even better results. These bumps were so deep and painful and makeup couldn’t cover it. The skin was so shiny and about to burst. I was miserable. While at Walmart I decided to try this system because it worked for me as a teenager. I also purchased the Persia-gel 10. Within a week my acne was gone and I’ve been able to maintain clear skin with the moisturizer and face wash. The toner and spot cream are very strong and very effective so I’m not afraid of another flare up. Great products!CysticSal
ok so i didn’t use this exact one i used: and also : and i have quite dry skin and wear makeup. anyway i’ve used this for about 6 months waiting for the full effect but when i used the wash it burned my face and made my eyes water and the same with the moisturiser it felt like 100 pins and needles in my face. this may not be with everyone but just be careful. i also would NOT recommend this as they test in animals and just generally aren’t a very good brand as they strip your face. i also found out that it is for people who HAVE CLEAN AND CLEAR skin and isn’t used to clear your skin up so you have to have perfect skin to use this basically which i was not happy about. although it says it’s supposed to ‘tingle’ and that’s your skin ‘clean’ i really don’t think any product is supposed to do this.bella.e
I honestly never thought this product would make a huge difference in my skin care daily life. First day I tried it was just like any other product, but within a week and half or so the results were amazingly shocking. It has helped me get rid of little pimples that no matter what were always there now they have banished!. I had an awful breakout was huge but within 3 days it helped it to go away. Definitely recommend this product to anyone who was clean and a smooth looking face. I personally apply the products in the morning and at night. Works great!, it can make your skin a little dry but is part of the cleansing so just keep it moisturized. Overall one of the best products I have ever gotten

For over 5 years, I have been washing my face with really expensive cleansers that contain salicylic acid in order to maintain my acne-prone skin and prevent it from regularly breaking out. I therefore already knew that salicylic acid works well for me, but I wanted a more budget-friendly approach to my skincare routine and also have the option to not use it every day. This product so far seems to not irritate my skin, the serum applies really smoothly and I do not experience great dryness or anything. The only thing I do not prefer is the presence of fragrance in my products – but the fragrance is not too strong and I actually like it (and it does not irritate my skin). My holy grail when it comes to unexpected breakouts! This is a really good salicylic acid, it works really well on blemishes and for me, I'll apply it one night and wake up with a dry pimple the next! I haven't used this as an all over the face serum because I do use other acids and won't risk layering them but overall this product applies super well, all though it can be a bit sticky depending on how much you apply. I would skip this if you have sensitive skin but overall I really enjoy using this product 😍👍dayana.g
I religiously used TO's salicylic acid serum for years (in combination with their niacinamide+zinc serum). Unfortunately, it's been out of stock for months now due to reformulation, so when I saw this salicylic acid serum by Revolution Skincare on Ulta, I got super excited. I'm 26 and have fairly sensitive, oily, acne prone skin (mostly hormonal from getting off the pill), however my skin is used to direct acids and chemical exfoliants. The first thing I noticed upon trying out this product was that there is a pretty strong fragrance (which is totally unnecessary and potentially irritating in skin care), and since purchasing this I've looked at the ingredients online and "parfum" is listed pretty high up. I used this all over my face about 3 times before I had to discontinue. My skin broke out in a way that it doesn't normally, and the acne was super angry and inflamed (I can generally tell when I'm having a normal breakout vs. a reactive one). A day after I stopped using this product, my skin started calming down again. I really wanted to love it, but unfortunately this is going back to the store. If you're looking for a replacement for TO, there's a chance this serum will disappoint you, but who knows, it may work for someone else.Rachel
