I have been using the Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo for a month now. I really like the coconut scent, it lathers really well and I was very pleased that a little goes a long way as I have very long and thick hair. I wash my hair every 3rd day, but I wet my hair and condition it every day. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner the 2nd day. I always use leave in conditioner but that day I had to use double the amount of what I normally use. Otherwise my hair felt & looked dry & frizzy. The product definitely did help with detangling my hair, not totally, but to a great enough degree where I was pleased. I didn’t notice any improvement in shine though. I was hoping to experience much more of an overall difference from all the various products I have used in the past. No huge noticeable difference, and more expensive than what I currently use. I love that Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo contain no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil. So I really enjoyed using the product on both my baby girl and my own hair. Because we have very very different hair types, I noticed some important things. She has a healthy head of very fine, very varied coil curls. The shampoo worked great on very wet hair, it lathered well for a clarifying shampoo without turning her hair into dry grass. I rinsed twice to make sure the water ran well and clear. The conditioner was light and moisturizing, as promoted. I took the time to work it into all strands while damp to slightly wet with a curly hair wet brush. Afterward rinsing the conditioner lightly, I put in the styling cream. Here I realized I'd put in way too much, but the effect was still very good. Her curls were less prone to tangling, moisturized and made beautiful defined coils. My hair is fine but wavy, not curly. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. Overall, on straighter finer hair, I'd say use the conditioner thoroughly but rinse very well and easy on the styling cream. I didn't experience any waxiness anywhere.Thali22

I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I live in France and ordered several hundred dollars back in December for my parents to bring from NY. I had never tried the products but after reading all the reviews praising them, I thought there would be no way they wouldn't work. Well I was wrong, I tried the Climate Control, Moisture Lock, Conditioner, Curl Quencher, Deep conditioner AND I could not get a brush through my hair with any of the products. I was really bummed as I was looking forward to finally have something that worked to tame my curls especially for the summer months. What made it worse is my experience with trying to return the product to Ouidad. The reason I ordered A LOT of product because I had confidence that it would work. Unfortunately my parents had to cancel their January trip due to last minute Covid travel changes implemented by France. I wound up traveling to the states in February and that is when I finally had the opportunity to try the product. After writing to Ouidad about my predicament and asking if they can make an exception, due to the circumstances of my situation, for which I have proof and allow me to return the unused product.The manager Saouda gave me a hard no, she didn't even attempt to meet me half way. Policy and rules prevailed!!! Instead of looking at it as an individual case. Guess they don't see me as a future customer so why bother making exceptions. Anyway, its my own fault for trusting the reviews and not the product before ordering such a large amount. Moral of the story, particularly for overseas clients… try the product first to make sure it woks for your hair. I have been using the Shea Moisture conditioner for approximately two weeks and was provided them by #trywithtopbox as a #freeproduct for my honest review. I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I don't wash it daily but every 2 to 3 days it's just too much work to do daily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. Overall I would say this was a good product that worked as advertised and if someone was looking to try this I would recommend it, I'm not sure if it is the best choice for me given the frequency with which I wash my hair.MargarethaM

I received this as a #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox, but this review is 100% my honest opinion. I have fine 2A/2B hair that is coloured/bleached. I really struggle to find conditioning products that are repairing and hydrating for the colour, but not too heavy for my fine hair. Most conditioners really weigh my hair down and make it oily. I didn’t have that experience with the SM manuka honey and yogurt conditioner! First off – the scent is lightweight and really nice. It smells exactly like honey, but isn’t too sweet. The formula is hydrating but not heavy. It’s a thinner consistency than a lot of other repairing conditioners, which worked really well for me. I use one pump from the nape of my neck to my ends and let it sit for a few mins before washing out with cold(ish) water. I don’t believe that long term results can be identified without using the entire bottle, but I will say that my hair has been shinier, easier to detangle after washing, and less frizz since starting to use this product. The ends of my hair are usually the driest, and they seem to be less damaged and have less obvious split ends. I would absolutely continue to use this product, and will rebuy! The only thing I didn’t love is the packaging – the pump on my bottle didn’t really work, and had a hard time getting any amount of product out. I don’t know if it was just mt bottle or a design flaw, but I ended up switching the pump with another bottles I have with a thicker tube, and have not had any problems since.RoseyB37

Only been using it about a month, so, don't know yet about regrowth, but I've stopped getting handfuls and brushfuls of hair. Makes it feel fuller, as well. The shampoo is very concentrated, doesn't take a lot, but the conditioner tends to be lacking. Takes a lot of product, and it doesn't feel that "conditioned", but I'm going to keep on track until I find out if there is regrowth or not. I purchased this shampoo and conditioner combo because of all the lawsuits and claims about my normal shampoo and conditioner, which was Organix in the purple. This stuff left my hair SO dry that I could barely comb it even after spaying a ton of CHI leave-in-conditioner on it. I tried this shampoo almost by accident. I happened to have a travel size and was going camping and grabbed it. I always use the best shampoo I can find since I have very fine hair and some color damage. I was amazed when I saw how my hair looked after it dried. I had significantly more volume and thickness and my hair felt very silky. My husband was impressed and he experienced the same thing. Noticeably thicker hair. We loved it so much I bought 3 bottles. I got this Foxybae 12-in-1 daily leave in hair mask with biotin in it, in my @ipsy glam bag last month. I really like it. To tell you the truth I forgot about. So I tried it today and it made my hair really shiny and soft. I think it works a little better than some of the other out there. Its like an oild base kind of product. It has a light fragrances to it but not bad at all and not strong. I do like that my hair has a little smell to it when I move it around. I really love this stuff, but from reading the reviews I see where other people thought it was going to do much more than it actually does.. which is probably from the wording on the bottle. I've used this stuff since a hairdresser put it on my 14 year-old self and my over bleached hair. Back then, I didn't even read the bottle I just knew I could straighten the life out of my hair then spritz this on and it would look semi healthy again. This is just about my favorite Lange product. You only need a little bit too! My hair is thin, fine and with a natural wave. I have used Thick It after applying the lotion or the Whip Volumizing Mousse. I’ll need to try both next time and see if they are compatible. My guess will be, Yes! The Glaze kept my frizzies to a minimum. Hair was nice and soft and did not flatten my hair…I did keep it away from my roots. I ordered Watermans double pack of shampoo and conditioner after reading positive reviews online. I was unsure of what to expect as I know certain products work for some people and not others. I received my delivery very quickly and it is very clear that this family run business really care about their products. The shampoo came in a black bottle and the conditioner in a white bottle which makes it very easy to differentiate the products with water in your eyes. The shampoo lathers really well and has feel really soft when washing it out. I feel like a slightly stronger smell would be nice however that wouldn't stop me from repurchasing as I really do see a difference in the condition of my hair. The conditioner is a much thinner consistency and again doesn't really have a strong scent. It sometimes doesn't feel like I have put any on my hair as it is very thin however after leaving it on for a minute or so and washing it out, my hair does feel soft. My hair is slightly dry in summer anyway and Im not sure whether the products particularly helped with that but I do really love these products and would definitely buy again! I'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair and the products that I use. Most of the products that I have used in the past (even if they're raved about) end up drying out my hair making it very brittle or dull. I have very very curly hair and it's very thick and long so I have to use multiple products to keep my hair tame, soft healthy, and smooth. That includes using multiple hair masks ( I'm a pro multi masker lol) in order to make sure the products spread evenly and two that I get the best results for hydration and strength. This treatment surprised me a bit given how small the bottle is. I started by shampooing per directions. I then, separated my hair into 6 and started with one pump on each section starting from mid shaft to ends then repeated the process with my roots (I used a few extra pumps) then waited 4 minutes. The texture of this particular product surprised me because it's not something I would normally use on my hair it is a cream but it didn't have any slip (so I thought), And it didn't feel thick enough. But within those four minutes my hair was smoother softer and shinier I was very surprised at how soft it felt and how my hair didn't tangle up (which would have normally happened had I used a product with no slip.) due to all the manipulation. With that being said there are a couple of drawbacks with the product. One: the price for the size is a little dicey to me, like I would hesitate greatly buying this product once I run out and hesitate recommending to someone who has as much hair as I do (quick explanation: my hair reaches a little past my waist when flat ironed and is very dense) especially since the directions state to use the product for the first four to six washes then 3-4 for aftercare/as needed/ upkeep. Two: When I used the product I said to myself that it smelled like rubbing alcohol. Then I read the ingredients and noticed that it had alcohol high on it. I'm not sure what denatured alcohol does but I'm hoping it doesn't dry my hair out with time. All in all I'm excited to use it more and see how my hair reacts. *extra notes* With first usage I loved it, second usage I'm noticing my curls are more defined. I was my hair weekly, detangle first then shampoo towel dry then I use the mask. Okay, I do not normally write reviews but I kinda just have to about this product. To give some backstory, I was dumb and thought my hair was invincible and got into hair color. September 2021 was the first time I dyed my hair with box dye and my hair didn’t react at all. It was still extremely healthy and felt like my virgin hair. So I assumed my hair was a special case and could withstand anything… so, I decided to get creative with my hair and went absolutely crazy. After my first dye, from mid October 2021 – early February 2022, I bleached my hair 5 times, dyed my hair with 4 Arctic fox colors and 3 box dyes and one professional dye from Sally’s, used the homemade color remover method of dish soap, developer, baking soda and purple shampoo probably 20 times… if not more. It wasn’t until it was too late that I realized how dead and fried and destroyed my hair was. It was so bad that my hair would stick out straight in the air when I’d pick up a small section, rather than bouncing and falling down like healthy hair does. To fix my mistake, I tried to use MANY different deep masks, hair hyaluronic acid and olaplex and those barely made a dent in the damage I caused… so I bought the mini size of K-18 and just finished 5 washes with it (I probably have one more wash left but I was too excited to wait to write this review). After the first wash my hair felt exponentially better than it had since my first dye. And after my 5th wash, I can confidently say this product has totally saved my hair. Of course it’s not completely healed, but I’d say it’s 80% back to it’s “virgin” state. I’d say after a couple more washes it’ll be almost back to it’s completely healthy state. My hair is a couple inches from my shoulders but very dense so I have to section my hair into 2 sections and do 2 pumps for each one to feel properly coated. The takeaway from this review is don’t be stupid like I was, but also this product is an absolute miracle worker and 100% worth the price.SuchToasty

So normally I would keep a magical life changing hair treatment to myself but I’m literally dead from being in shock after using this product for the first time last night. I was wondering why I have never heard or seen anything about this product but found out it’s because it is brand new. Apparently research scientist from a US biological engineering department discovered this brand new breakthrough peptide strand that has never been used before in any hair product. We have seen tons of protein and bonding treatments on the market like “olaplex” but this peptide strand that was discovered is one of a kind. If you read there website, and especially me trying every bonding treatment on the market, I was so skeptical because they are basically promising after one use and 4 minutes your hair even severely bleached or damaged in any way, will go back to its “virgin” youthful state. I was like SUREEEE that’s what they all say and my hair never gets repaired enough to the point that I am like wow lol. But literally reading the science behind it, it does kinda make sense. Olaplex will repair the hairs structure only to a certain point, every other treatment will only go as far as the core, and never to the polypeptide chains which is the most inner layer of our hair. But the K18 peptide that was discovered will! And let me just tell you I have never once felt the need to spread feedback from a hair product but after washing my hair last night I almost dropped dead lol. If anyone knows me they know that I am so indecisive with my hair and I go from platinum blonde to black and back to platinum literally all the time. I recently just went back platinum and within the last month have bleached my hair several times and it was EXTREMELY damaged to where it felt like straw. I wanted to give this product a try because it is “patented” and I have never seen a product have a patent so the ingredient had to of been good. I put this on my hair for the first time last night. All you do is wash your hair with shampoo NO conditioner and then when you get out of the shower you put the K18 peptide in and leave it in. My hair right now literally feels and looks the healthiest it has like I have never bleached it in my whole life. I’m just waiting for this product to be found out about and all other hair company’s will literally go out of business. The sample size bottle is $30 and regular size about $80 but please if you have never been able to get your hair to even a somewhat healthy state you have to try this. I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. My hair is shiny and there is less hair in my comb and brush.Sab

I was very happy to find this shampoo on Walmart.com. My first purchase of it was from Amazon and the shampoo was very thin and watery, I was not happy with the amount I would have to use to just get a lather. This new bottle from Walmart was so much better, the product was thicker and I'm not having to use as much to attain a good lather. I have been using for a couple of months and so far I have noticed that I am not having as much hair loss and I seem to have a lot of new growth. It leaves my hair feeling light and not weighed down as some shampoo do. Overall I am happy with the product, only complaint would be the smell but that is probably because of the tea tree oil, I hate that smell. As long as it works though I can deal with the smell, it doesn't smell strong once it is rinsed. Good product overall!Stacey

I was sent this product by SpaceNK to trial at home and review. Though I love the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (and the probably infamous caramel-y scent), having previously tried samples of the shampoo and conditioner, I'm really not a fan of the hair care range. I have fine, flyaway, naturally wavy hair which is frizzy and can be prone to kinks and other unpredictable behaviour. I was concerned that this may not be for me as I found the shampoo and conditioner a tad heavy for my fine hair. Conscious of my previous experience, I made sure not to use any oil or any sort of leave in treatment on my hair for a week before trying this product. I also made sure to use as little of it as possible (which was rather difficult as it's quite a thick product!). I followed the instructions which said to apply it to damp, freshly washed hair from root to tip and leave it for at least 10 minutes. I worked from the ends upwards so there would be as little product as possible weighing down my roots and left it for around 10 minutes. Though it's quite a gloopy product, it washed out easily and even whilst showering, I could feel that my hair felt softer and smoother (and even a tad thicker though, perhaps, this was due to the product being a bit too heavy for my hair type?). I also liked the way that my hair reacted to the treatment. It seemed to encourage my natural waves and I was confident leaving my hair to dry naturally. Whilst it did not eradicate all frizziness, it was a major improvement. My hair felt deeply conditioned but not greasy. Another bonus is the scent and even 24 hours after using the treatment, my hair still holds plenty of the beautiful signature scent. Now for the negatives! The scent is very strong. I love it but many may not. I also think I would need to use this sparingly. Even with the little that I used, my hair felt heavier / weighed down and I expect there to be quite a bit of product build up. If, like me, you have fine, flyaway hair, you may feel this is a bit much. However, as an occasional deep conditioning treatment, it's not a bad investment.IndiePrincess

I've used this twice so far in a week in place of my normal hair mask treatments, and so far, I think I've found a new hair favourite! I will be including my thoughts below: Ergonomically, this has fantastic packaging. It has this lovely textured rim around the bottom of the jar, which means you get a good grip while scooping out your product with wet hands in the shower. It has a nice chunky lid too, which screws off easily enough, but contains a small pull lid on top of the actual hair butter, so the stuff inside won't spill. It isn't too runny, nor is it too gloopy and thick, so it's the perfect consistency to rub through your hair. I have my fine hair that's mid-upper arm length, and I only need a very small scoop to coat my hair. I run a comb through it after to ensure it's well distributed, and then spread the excess picked up in the comb's teeth over the front of my face where the fringe is (heat damage, hello!). I then clip it up for the rest of my shower, rinse it off at the end, and hey presto! Beautiful glossy hair. I can see a real difference when I've rinsed it off as well, because it feels very soft to the touch, and even after being bundled up in a towel and then unwrapped after, it falls down in soft, non-tangled locks, which have no resistance when combed through. I've tried this with and without my other hair products (leave in spray conditioner, heat protectant, and anti-frizz serum), and I've found that I do need my extra things to really get my hair to sit totally unfrizzed after, but even without, the shine and gloss is absolutely stunning. I think in future, I'll probably leave this stuff on for longer (overnight if possible), which will hopefully give me the full repair effects. However, for a ten minute flash treatment, this is a really nifty thing to have in the shower with you. Also, in regards to the scent, I was a little disappointed – I've heard wonders about the SdJ products' smell, and to be honest, it's pretty much like every high street hair mask smell. It's lovely, don't get me wrong! But it's nothing special (it still has the chemically salon product smell) and in my opinion, shouldn't be the aspect that sways you for or against buying the product. I don't know if this is going to replace my current favourite's holy grail status (Olaplex No.3), but value wise, it's definitely going to be a close competitor. I'll be reaching for this again in future when I want some quick hollywood hair for sure!mun

Let me just say this first, my hair Journey has been chaotic and I’m finally at a calm point. I have tried so many products both working my budget and outside my budget and nothing seems to last. It felt great then but over time it was not helping my hair at all. I am finally taking great care of my hair and with some good old research I have a pretty good routine as my hair is finally growing again and shedding a lot less. I went to a hairstylist recently for the first time in years and let me tell you! My hair has never felt so soft with this redken products, so once I finally had the budget and my hair hair touching the small of my back (happy dance). I did some research into what redken product would work best for my growing hair. I decided on the extreme length and snagged the last bottles during the Ulta jumbo sale!! I have been using this for a month now and my hair has never felt better, it’s not drying, it doesn’t make my hair brittle, it has stopped my hair from shedding a lot, it has even brought back my natural curl! I am in disbelief with how well this stuff works! My hair has so much more volume than usual, less flyaways it just fell in the correct spot stayed effortlessly! Once my hair dried my fiance immediately was like, "Wow your hair looks incredible!" I was literally thinking the same thing so I laughed out loud because it was so funny he was thinking it noticed it too. The next more when I got to work my coworker in the back was like, "Did you blow dry your hair last night or do something different to it?" I was like, no why? She said, "Your hair looks fuller more vibrant." So I of course told her about this awesome new shampoo conditioner I recently started using. Redken is one of my absolute favorite shampoos. This brand literally has a shampoo set for all hair types. 🔹So what’s the difference with this range? Well Redken Extreme Length Shampoo contains Biotin to help strengthen damaged hair and helps hair grow longer and healthier. It also helps hair from breaking and promoting your hair to grow stronger. It also works with color treated hair. 🔹First and foremost- the scent! It smells heavenly. Not too overwhelming but just enough. I felt my hair to be very soft and hydrated. No hair fallout (like some brands do to me). No irritation on my scalp. I did notice my hair to slightly improve in the few times I have used it’s and incredibly soft it is and healthy looking. I recommend so much! I would love to keep up with this product. It lathers like a lot. Suds galore! It's so light weight , all you have to do is lather for a few minutes to help stimulate your scalp for better results. A little goes a long way! Simple packing for this brand really sold it for me, and the reviews. I have noticed my hair is fuller and new hair growth where my hair had been pulled out by a tight ponytail. Don't do what I did! Also it comes out of the bottle very fast so be careful of that! Yes there is product in my hand !morgan.w

I just purchased this for the first time and I am so confused as to why they would put a screw off cap on it rather than a flip top. So you have to screw the lid off and stash it somewhere. The conditioner has a flip top cap. Why would they package it this way and especially considering it's kinda pricey? I didn't even know any shampoos still had this type of lid. I am inordinately annoyed with this. I doubt I'll buy this brand again. There are other brands out there with better designs.Ccpc

I have been using this product for about a year now. I had lost a tremendous amount of hair due to covid and natural aging and needed to try something. It was phenomenal with stopping my hair fall out and within a month I could feel new hair growing. I normally have very thin hair. Throughout the summer I still had very minimal hair loss and my hair was getting thicker. Sometime this fall, I noticed the formula was much thicker than before and shortly after, my hair started falling out more and more. I don't notice new hair growing like I did previously. I'm not sure if the formula changed, but it does not work as well as it did. I am still using it, in the hopes that it will change back to the original formula.Krisal87
