Was not worth the money. Absolutely not enough product for one head of hair unless it’s super short. Did not get any results at all . The absolute worst hair lightener I’ve ever used . This stuff was so gentle that using it to correct poor lift from another brand-the following day!-resulted in no noticeable damage. No gummy hair, no breakage when combing, no unwillingness by the hair to evenly accept direct dye afterward. The formula went on evenly, easily, and lifted away all my pigment to exactly the color of the inside of a banana peel. I didn't suffer the burning others mentioned but I was careful not to apply directly to my scalp. My hair took about 35 minutes to get where it needed to be. Followed with green and blue dyes and they took like a dream! Post-processing, it's soft, shiny, and manageable. I went with Arctic Fox because people highly recommend it. Within 20 minutes of using it and only getting 1/4 of my head done, foamy liquid started dripping down my face. I avoided my roots to go back to them at the end but I had to rinse my hair out unfinished because the foamy liquid dripped down to my roots. Now my scalp is burned and I have hot roots. I don’t know if this is a defective batch or what, but now the top left side of my head is half processed and burned and I’m waiting for my salon appt on Friday to try to fix it before an important night. I’ve bleached my own hair before with cheaper products and this never happened. I still want to try the regular colors one day, but as of right now I’m avoiding the brand.Gina Supers

I wish I would have read the reviews before I used this. I have really reached an amazing blonde and I got this for my roots! I must admit the name was super catchy and I liked it had everything included with the notion that it was healthier for your hair. When I first started I should have known and stopped right away. The bleach was impossible to squeeze out and I never saw that before – there was a lot of mixture and it was runny. I read the instructions 3x before using to make sure this was right and no where did it warn of these things. I feel like if I would have let it set for 10 min and it got thicker and mousse like it work: I left in full 45 min on virgin hair and I knew it was awful before I washed out – super brassy and yellow. My hair doesn’t feel damaged or dried out but for something that advertises lift 8 levels – the full time and no where near lifted. It’s horrible and maybe a toner will help but – seriously disappointed.Britain Hart

My hair is naturally a light ash brown and a dirty dark blonde and this spray works great to add subtle blonde highlights! I basically spray this on my hair either wet before styling and use my hair dryer or on dry hair before sun exposure. This product can be drying so after using this you definitely want to use a moisturizing deep conditioner. I’ve also used this like 10yrs ago when I was blonde and this really brightened up my blonde hair at the time even more. I’d recommend this if your looking to add subtle highlights to light brown and dark blonde hair or really brighten up blonde hair even more……..this lightening spray in my opinion is gradual working so don’t expect dramatic instant results.wendy .c

After 10 uses, my natural level 2 hair went to a level 5! As with any form of hair lightening, it is important to remember that you are essentially making the hair strand empty by removing pigment. During that process, underlying pigments will be exposed such as red, orange, or yellow (depending on which color you started from). This is why hair stylists use toner after bleaching your hair. You can use matrix dark envy green hair masque if you find your hair looks reddish to dark orange, redken brownlights conditioner if your hair looks medium to bright orange, and any brand of purple hair masque if your hair looks yellow. I use this hair on my roots as a touch up for 10 days then follow up with the green hair mask to make my hair look medium ash brown. Keep in mind I have naturally soft black hair to begin with. If you have virgin hair, it will lighten your hair around 3 to 4 levels in just 10 days if used properly. Do not expect much if you have ever dyed your hair anything darker than dark blonde before because your hair strands are stained with dark underlying pigments that will be impossible to remove without bleach, and thats IF your hair does not melt off from the bleaching process because remember, any form of hair lightening is just making your hair strands empty. I am a level 6 dark blonde with natural golden tones. I use just the spray once or twice a month at the roots and combed through the length to lighten roots and blend grays. It's impressive how well it lifts. Slightly drying but I have an oily scalp so I don't do extra conditioning. I don't always heat style right after and it still lightens. Can look brassy if no further toning but I get compliments and pay nothing like I used to for salon services. Hair is way less damaged compared to prior highlights/balayage. This Clairol bleach lightener powder definitely gets the job done. The lift is great just tend to make the hair a little dried out. I typically like to use this product on bundles or enchanting more so than natural hair for the fact that it leaves my natural hair feeling a bit dry. But it definitely gives great lift so that a plus if you need a budget friendly alternative to do at home.kierra.b

I’ve used this on my roots for ages when I’m coloring my hair. I’ve also used it on friends to do balayage. It’s easy to use and the smell is mild compared to one other bleach I’ve used. I never use more than a 30 volume developer with it but the instructions say you can go higher. I do believe there are other brands that might be better but for the price and the amount you get, I can’t complain. I have very thick and long hair so this container last me for 6 months of managing my roots (I mix 2 bowls each time I need to do my roots). Like a lot of bleaches, this will give you aggressive “hot root” if you try to apply all over and process at the same time. Always do the roots last! Damage is very mild as long as I don’t go over 30 volume developer. Works well and quickly. There was no damage to my hair. Having experience with this product in the smaller packets, I found it helpful to use as much or as little as I needed without waste. I would caution the inexperienced user — my favorite for bleaching and the best for your scalp. The only problem is some flaky/powdery stuff gets all over you when you are putting it in your hair, make sure you cover your clothing with a sheet or towel or wear clothing that is ok to bleach. I HAD dark blonde hair. Spent a week looking at products and I wanted to be Blonde not bleach blonde just light blonde. I picked this kit because it does contain BLEACH. BLEACH is the only way to lift hair color. I left on for an hour and I look like an orange pop. The max time is an hour. I called the 18006317358 number that is on the box and they are closed today because of the holiday. So, for now I am stuck with orange hair or go to a salon and spend money, lots of it for a hair color correction. A company like this should have someone on call 24/7 if your going to have a help line and sell boxed color at stores that are open 24 hours. People do need help after hours and on holidays. I went to sally's and they said bleach it again. I am scared to bleach again so soon. So today I will wear a hat and conditioner and wait for them to open tomorrow , to maybe give me some advice on what to do with this orange hair. First, I was very SKETPICAL to use this product, because I have only ever used Ion hair color from Sally’s in Lightest Cool Blonde. I decided to give this a shot, because of the high level of ratings on this product online. I also googled and checked Amazon reviews and checked reviews on the manufacturer’s website. All had like 80% of reviewers critiquing it as high. So, I gave it a shot…. I was not disappointed at all! I am naturally dirty blond/dishwater blond and my hair lifts to platinum blond easily. This color did exactly that. It lifted evenly and gave me very, very platinum blond hair like the white, ethereal color that I was wanting. The instructions were very easy to follow. The box recommends anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. I left mine on for 20 minutes and then checked it. It had completely lifted to platinum. My hair was yellow… THIS IS NORMAL though, because some people’s hair lifts to either yellow or orange when going so light. Go to Sally’s and get the WELLA TONER in T-14 “Palest Ash Blond” (another name is “White Lady”). I left this on for 5 minutes! BE CAREFUL not to live it on too long when it starts turning, RINSE IT OUT! This lifts that yellow or orange out of your hair and will literally make your hair look amazing!!!! This stuff includes a shampoo packet that I found to be great and it leaves your hair ridiculously soft!ksm2v

I have naturally dark brown hair which I had dyed to a dark auburn color months ago. My roots were already showing and the color I had it dyed to was fading. I wanted to bleach my hair blond and used this product. The first time my hair was orange and my roots turned out yellow. According to the research I did I had to bleach my hair again to get it to the yellow that I wanted. Well my mistake was that I used this product again. I thought it should work on the second attempt. And no, all it did was make my hair turn into an even brighter orange! I left it in my hair on both attempts for 45 minutes. Plus it had left my hair dried out. Needless to say I'll never use this again and recommend that you do not use this product. It will not make you blond. Instead it will turn you into a carrot top as you can see in the picture. This was taken after the second time I used it to bleach my hair. That was almost $20 down the drain. This is my favorite conditioner. I use it along with the matching shampoo. My hair is highlighted and this product makes it feel great after every use. Some shampoos and conditioners make my hair look brassy, but not this one. It really brings out my color and adds so much volume. I have used John Frieda Blonde Highlight Activating shampoo & conditioners for many years now and every time you change the product, it seems to have been dumbed down and made with cheaper products. Please bring back the formula made' with avocado oil' or even the one before that that I believe was made with 'jojoba oil'. Both of these previous formulas were far superior to what you are producing now. The earlier formulas would leave my hair really smooth & silky, but unfortunately your latest formula can leave my hair feeling a little dry. I have really tried to like the latest formula but having come across a tube of the 'with avocado' formula & using that again has really highlighted the inferior quality of the newer format.LouCie

This is one of the worst things I have ever bought! I travel around quite a bit and thought these would be perfect for taking with me as sturdier than the smaller ones. They are but it is a battle to try and close them again! I have lost more than half of the shampoo and conditioner trying to get them closed and every time I unpack them they have leaked everywhere! I was so keen to try this product as I wanted a sulphate free shampoo to help define my naturally wavy/curly hair. After the first wash I instantly saw results with less frizz and more curls! But after the second wash my hair didn’t feel clean as the shampoo really struggles to lather up to cover the whole scalp. I was having to shampoo twice and used a lot of product. I then felt I had to wash my hair after a couple of days as it felt really dirty and greasy with a build up of product, I have thick hair and would usually wash my hair twice a week so had to go back to my old shampoo. I also used with the curl conditioner and styling crème which were great and work really well and I have kept using them. If they make some changes to this product then I’ll definitely come back to it.Emily

The pale yellow shampoo is soft and has a floral fragrance. It will leave your hair feeling soft and clean. After several uses, your hair will be noticeably blonder. Unlike other color treatments, it will not leave your hair a brassy color. If that is the kind of blonde color you are looking for, additional products may need to be used. No matter what other products I may cycle through, I use this every time I wash my hair and always have backups on hand! I'm a natural golden blonde, but my new growth can get dull in the winter when not exposed to sunlight as often, or with general buildup that we all get on our hair. This effectively cleanses my hair without making it feel stripped, while also providing juuuust the tiniest bit of extra lightening every wash! Pro tip: only the shampoo in this line contains an actual chemical lightening agent, not the conditioner, so this is all you need to see the effect. But it's such a low concentration, and rinsed out so much more quickly than salon lightening, that it will only ever be a subtle change. (And I'm not even sure it would do anything to hair darker than a level 7 or so…) You literally can't mess it up. With consistent use, this keeps my natural blonde looking bright and sun-kissed, like I just came back from vacation, even in the deepest darkness of a Midwestern winter. I use to use this back when I was younger it really did a good job at highlighting my hair especially during the summer time. I use to spray this all in my hair and go outside and sit directly in the sun during the heat of the day and by the time I came back into the house the parts I sprayed was completely bleach blonde. It never had a harsh smell it always smelled like fresh lemon juice. You know if you wanna try this but don’t have the money to buy it. You can put hydrogen peroxide and pure lemon juice into a spray bottle and spray it in you’re hair and go sit in the sun ☀️ and it will do the same. jesse.g

I've been using this since the 90s and it has always done what it is supposed to do. It does lighten my black hair but turns it a bit brassy and it's slow acting. Gotta add blue shampoo with it if you don't like the brassy/orange color. I usually use one full bottle on my hair for them summer days. My hair texture does not change or gets worse. But then again, I've always used it on virgin hair and not on treated or dyed hair.Mkone

I would say that is product, , works pretty nicely if you use it multiple times. I have dark brown hair almost black and I have used the whole bottle (4 uses) and it's made my hair a light brown. My hair length is medium so I got 4 uses out of the bottle. I am happy with the results but I think I want to go lighter and get a second bottle. I would think it works better on people with blonde/light colored hair. It didn't dry out my hair as my hair still feels soft and voluminous. I guess everyone's hair is different. I also recommend you wash your hair after using this product and use a hair mask in the shower. I guess that's why my hair didnt dry out. So I bought this to bleach a wig that I bought. I previously bleached the wig the same day but it still wasn’t bright enough. I used three boxes and the hair was long and I didn’t leave it on for the recommended time on the instructions. This did exactly what I needed it to do. I think i will start buying this for my own hair. It’s a one stop shop. I wasn’t looking for the color in the box, but just a light blonde color. Works well (works waaaaaaay better for virgin hair of course) even though my hair has been blonde to black to blonde a few times. This kit still lifts the color!!! like??? okay purr. Did a great job at bleaching the hair. Color came out even, however hair was EXTREMELY dry after rinsing…… BUT that said, the toner included infused so much moisture back into my strands I was thoroughly impressed. It did relax my curl pattern slightly, however all my natural curls are still intact. I did half my hair using the bottle in the kit, which was fine, but the other half I put in a bowl and applied with a applicator brush (just because it seemed quicker and would give a more even bleach job). Let me start by saying that I am not a bleach user, it has always scared me due to the length of my hair and the fact I'm naturally a darker brown. This product not only did exactly what I expected but went beyond my expectations. It is super easy to get the consistently and mix this product for use, I have long hair and have to mix more as I go and the cream formula and product packaging made it easy. I also MUST mention how great my hair felt after lightening, where my hair normally feels brittle at the wash when not even bleaching…. that was not the case here it was soft and easy to manage. I am on a hair to journey to a ashy blonde and I was at about 6/7 at time of use (gold and brassy) and this brought me right to where I need to be to tone effectively. I am not a stylist yet I am confident in my use of this product that I would reccomend.Heather

Extremely hydrating. My hair did not feel damaged at all. Things to keep in mind.. I was very close to running out of bleach. I did 1:1 ratio with 30 vol (the same line). I have 3b curly, shoulder length hair and I did not bleach my roots. If you have longer hair or want to do your roots and full length you’ll probably need two bottles 🙁 I don’t think one round with this bleach will get your to platinum. My hair was previously bleached light brown and after having this bleach on for an hour my hair is now a medium-light blonde. Definitely need a toner with this bleach because my hair was very very yellow. Overall I highly recommend and I would but it again.Ashley J

I've been dying my hair for several years now (since I was 14) and this is the only product that lightens my dark brunette hair (somewhere between levels 2 and 3) to that perfect platinum. I usually dye my hair pastel colors. I feel like the people who are leaving bad reviews don't know what they're doing. If you get clumps just crush it up. Like, it's not that difficult. I have curly hair (a mixture of 2c and 3a) and it doesn't ruin my curl pattern. Curly hair tends to be dryer and more fragile than straight hair. Yes, your hair is going to fall out if you're putting 40 volume bleach on damaged hair (heat damage counts; if you blow-dry and flat iron your hair constantly you shouldn't bleach your hair at home; go to a professional; I have the same advice for people with chemical treatments and perms). Common sense people. 40 volume bleach is the strongest you can use and it shouldn't be left on for more than 30 minutes. You should never bleach your hair multiple times in a short span of time (Bleaching your hair again after you just bleached it isn't a good idea especially when it's 40 volume). Wait a couple of days between each session. And if you are bleaching your hair for the first time and don't know what you're doing educate yourself. Brad Mondo and Evangeline Demuro make great educational videos on how to do your hair. I suggest using a hair mask every night for a week before bleaching it so that your hair has enough moisture and is also strong enough to handle this. Also, for the love of GOD do not wash your hair before bleaching it. Your hair needs oil for bleach to do its job. The reason why this doesn't work for certain people is that they don't take into account the things I said. Don't use this on damaged hair, don't wash your hair, don't do this multiple times in one day and don't leave it on for a long time. I have fine shoulder length 3B hair. I started from the back and worked my way to the front but got to the top of my head when I realized one box was not enough. Not a big deal for what I was going for but would have been disappointed otherwise. I put coconut oil on my ears as forehead as well as my neck. It still got burned. It felt like sun burn. A piece of hair touch my check and it burned immediately. It did the job but I'm assuming it's really strong. Unless you have a shaved head, get to boxes even if just touching your roots like I was.Kit

So this does lighten a decent amount for what I needed, but the amount you get is minuscule. I laughed when I unboxed it honestly. I've been using hair bleach on myself for the past 9 years in order to color my hair purple; i'm very comfortable with using bleach and it's process. I was excited to use this product as i love their toning shampoo and use it often to rinse my bleach out to help get my hair ready to be colored. This product was ok on my natural grow out- i'm a level 6 1/2-7. It didn't get my roots as pale as i typically can with other products. The bleach didn't lift my previous color out enough so i decided to do a double process the next day. The color still isn't lifted out all of the way and my hair's integrity isn't as good as it tyipcally is with other products (i love the Prism Lites Violet Lightener and it's perfect!) i used the developer, followed the directions, and i just dont love the result. i also have some skin irritations on the back of my neck which i've never gotten from other products. i won't be using this product again and won't be recommending it to others.amanda w.

I'm giving this lightener a solid 4 because boy did it lighten my hair! I'm not a hairstylist by any means and needed my mom's help doing this because I was terrified, but I'm honestly surprised how well this lightened my hair. My color was a solid dark blonde almost light brown and this completely lightened me up to a bright blonde in the recommended 50 minute time frame the directions described. I'm deducting a star from a perfect 5 because the lightener packet was not measured in the best manner. It told you to mix ounces of this with ounces of the developer but one is powder and one is liquid. They should have just said mix one complete packet of the lightener with x amount of developer (half a bottle, full bottle, etc). It made it really confusing and we definitely did it wrong at first and the consistency was not right. This caused certain sections of my hair to be not as light as others. But for the most part I'm pretty impressed with how well this worked and that it didn't damage my hair!christine.p

I've used this lightener before this last purchase. I don't remember it making my hair so orange. But then the last time I used it, I remember adding a bunch of extras into the mixture to keep my hair from getting blazing orange. There's better lightener out there. Well I usually keep my hair platinum, almost silver, so when I received the Clairol Blonde it Up, Platinum Blonde, I was worried. The color on the chick on the box was not Platinum Blonde in my book or even close. It looked brassy and 1 level. My expectations were realistic and I knew what I had signed up for so… Roots were in need of attention so I went for it. I figured that with no bleach and a different, less damaging delivery method that the worst that could happen was an obviously bad, at home, unprofessional die job. I am completely sold on this product. I left it on for the entire 60 minutes for developing because I thought it would definitely need it. I usually use chemicals that lift 8× and can be and are damaging. Clairol Blonde it up, Platinum Blonde, the one that looks almost strawberry Blonde on the box, did better than my usual system and with no brassiness! A lightening product that doesn't damage hair, even previously repeatedly bleached hair, changes the game. Clairol – "Blonde it up" was complimentary from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. I'm someone who bleach's my roots every other month. It usually takes two bleachings to achieve my desired platinum color plus a toner. I liked the Clairol for its gentleness and workability. It took my roots from almost black to a light tone blonde in one sitting! That's more than I expected from a no bleach product. I was happy that the processing time was longer than with bleaching. It gave me more time to get it all in. The formula didn't get dry and was super easy to work with, allowing me to make parts in saturated sections if needed. With bleach that's a hard thing to do because of how quickly it dries and tangles my hair. Now the color worked well with my dark virgin roots but honestly didn't do much to the dull yellow from the previous bleaching. It smelled harsh but was noticeably less damaging to my hair and scalp. I will need to use another box in a few weeks(as usual with bleach) and I think it'll be a great overall result. I will be using it again, I'm not sure how iv never tried it before!darcy.d

Im extremely happy with the results of this color! I used this the day I got it sent to me, it came in perfect timing because I wanted to lighten my roots and put some green color in my hair. You can see in the before pictures how I had close to 2 inches of roots. When I applied Clairol’s lightener, I applied only to the roots and left a little space from my scalp. I left on for almost 50 mins (I didn’t cover it up with foil or anything to contain heat) after reading the directions. Then about 15 mins before washing it out I pulled the color a little down the strand and also put it all over my scalp! I am FLOORED with how well it lightened, along with the minimal damage. I am definitely using this again to lighten my roots. The integrity of my hair is still very strong and healthy. This is a way better alternative to bleach if your scalp is sensitive because there was absolutely no burning! If I would’ve covered my hair it probably would’ve processed faster and been MUCH lighter but I couldn’t find anything to do that at the time (winged it). I got this kit with the recent promotional release of the new colors. I've wanted to try this bleach kit for awhile as the color dyes have never dissapointed. I am being 100% when I say this stuff is either Hair crack or made by hair gods themselves, I used the 20 kit on my sisters down to the waist, thick, bright pink/purple/red multi colored hair with the roots grown in and it lifted to a beautiful platinum blonde in SECONDS. I have been doing hair for over a decade and I've never encountered a bleach kit that lightened as evenly or as nicely as this kit does. I am still straight up AMAZED, the texture is nice and fluffy too, just one box covered her whole head roots and all, I would buy as many boxes as possible before they're non existent or the formula changes, I will never buy any other bleach kit again!Latex

My hair is shoulder length and naturally dark brown to almost black. This #40 bleach party did a phenomenal job turning my hair to a blonde / yellow color. Obviously, I did my roots last since the roots take on the mixture very quickly . That is with any bleaching brand however… My scalp is sensitive, so days after the bleaching and dye job my scalp was very itchy, sensitive to touch, tight feeling, and felt like welts were in certain spots unfortunately 🙁 I really wish a good conditioner would have accompanied the bleach party and or even the full coverage 'moshi' dye color which I also purchased. This was my second time using Lime Crime color. The first time the color didn't take at all because I never bleached my hair… (Surprisingly, the 'mochi' color which is a lavender hue didn't take well at all even with my hair bleached as well) 🙁 My hair turned a brassy / almost highlighted red and light brown shade. I bought the 40Vol. kit last week when I was in Wal-Mart. I absolutely love that I can buy Lime Crime locally and not have to deal with shipping. This is the “softest” bleach I have ever used. I have previously damaged hair due to heat and color. I have used a lot of different products of the years and this is absolutely my new favorite. I mixed up a Bleach Wash/Bath to remove a stubborn purple/blue color and it took it right out and it did not cause any damage to my hair. After rinsing the bleach out, my hair felt soft unlike other products that feel my hair feeling rough. This is a great product for people with already damaged hair. Best home highlighting kit!! I can’t believe I spent $15 when I would normally pay $150 at a salon. I only used half of the kit because I wanted just to touch up my roots. I kept the bleach on for 50 minutes like the directions said. It lifted perfectly. The only thing I added was a pale ash blonde toner afterwards for that icy look. I love that it is a all in one kit. It's made specifically for dark hair. It comes with everything you need, gloves, hair cap, plastic hair puller hook/stirrer, developer, bleach and I think even a small applicator brush and small bowl. I used it on my daughter's hair which was recently colored a dark 3N brown a few days prior. The kit didn't work as well as I wanted. I didn't use the cap and used foils instead. Where I started the strands were so white- it actually became hot under the foils and those hairs began breaking off, fried! As it took me a hour to do the whole head foiled (high lites) where I finished was more of a med, red brown. Lol. So it looks more like a calico cat. Nothing I can't fix so I'm not too worried But, being the Bleach did fry parts of her hair, I'm going to wait a while to fix it and allow her hair time to heal. The developer is 35V I believe. Now the 2nd kit I bought I used on my SIL. Didn't use any foil or cap, just Brushed it on in the areas and places I wanted. His hair is also a dark brown. His took nicely. All over mainly the same shade came out. Not platinum but blonde. Not orange. I did use purple shampoo on them both after, and they continue to use the purple shampoo a few days a week to keep the brassiness away. I think using the foils just made the length of time from the first to the last put in, like a hour difference. So I should have rinsed the foils that were done processing out. And left the others on a 30-40 min longer but it was late and I was tired at the time and didn't think. Lol. The one I did without foil or cap, just Brushed on, i was able to have the whole head finished in 10 mins applying it so no one area was sitting with bleach on it then another area. All around I like it I like the all in one kit. But it doesn't come with alot. I needed 2 for my daughter's hair. And she has short shoulder length hair, AND I didn't do her entire head, just thin high lights. The other one was a boy, with short hair, above ears and it required a whole kit.. so if you have hair to your shoulders I suggest getting 2. If it's longer buy more.Nevaeh S.

I'm playing around with my process. Normally I bleach my roots every 5 weeks, but I just don't like the root-y look on me. I decided to see if I could get away with doing the front of my head every 2 weeks without causing massive breakage. Trying this out with powder bleach was a pain, so I decided I would try oil lightener using a bottle for very precise application, and picked this product up at my local Sally's. I'm very impressed with this product. The "lighten my roots every two weeks" method is going to require some perfecting, but this product is fantastic. The lift is SO even and clean. I might not use toner, it's that nice! This product is superior to all of the bleaches I have tried, which includes Wella powder lightener, Schwarzkopf Blond Me powder lightener, Ion Creme Bleach (the one in the squeeze tube, which is a very good product itself), Ion powder bleach (another good product.. you pretty much can't go wrong with Ion), and Blond Brilliance powder bleach. I'm really wondering why this variety of lightener doesn't get more attention, and I wish I had thought to use it long ago. And as many other reviewers have said, do not neglect to add developer. It's there in the instructions. 20 volume is what I used (Ion Sensitive Scalp, if anybody cares).JennDjinn

My hair is a natural level 2/3 so I usually bleach it twice and dye it dark enough color to cover up the orange/yelllow result because its too damaged to bleach it again. (I also use the ion booster/color sealer) With this bleach I was able to bleach 3 times to a nearly white color and my hair is still in better condition than it would normally be after 1 round with what I was using before. Even my previously bleached ends that I tried to bleach semi permanent color from are in ok condition. This didnt really do anything when i mixed it with shampoo as a bleach bath though, so I will stick to regular bleach for that in the future. Im not very good at bleaching my hair and half of the process is typically evening out my patchy bleach job, but I got pretty even results with this. This bleach applies soo much easier and is soo much less damaging. Its a bit runnier than other bleaches so dont get too close to the roots when your not ready to bleach them. I messed up the ratio a bit weighing 120grams developer and 60grams lightening oil; dont do that. if you are going to weigh it use oz. I ended up not having enough lightening oil for all 4 powder packets… also BUY DEVELOPER, it doesnt come in the box and you NEED it.Madi

This gave my medium blonde hair such a natural, brighter appearance. Have lightly applied, mostly to the top layers of my hair 2 weekends in a row and am very happy with the lightening it provided. It was going to be over a hundred dollars for my hair stylist to put some foils in my hair to add highlights. This stuff did the trick. It smells good. The purple spray smells amazing. I spray it on my hands, rub them and gently work it thru my hair and it really helped tone down the tiny bit of yellow, It makes my hair shiny, healthy and feel silky. Love it!Sherry F

This is the #1 favorite lightener I have ever used on my clients and myself. It lifts so beautifully and most of the time there is no need for me to tone, because it has purple/blue tint to the bleach. It's got a bonder in it too, which makes it safer on the hair. Little to NO damage. It mixes to a perfect consistency that goes a long way. (1 scoop : 2 oz developer) I have got a lot of my fellow co worker stylists to switch to this bleach too! They love it.
