It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. Given these factors I don't think I will bother with it again and will stick to shaving until the salons are open. I have shaved, waxed and epililiated for many years. However I had never used Nads. On a whim I tried on my legs, bikini line and armpits. I have thick, dense, dark hair with fast regrowth. The biggest shock to me was how comfortable this is to use! The gel is not like wax that rips hair and skin, instead it only rips out the hair and is gentle on skin! The cotton strips are washable and reusable, so I can collect more with each purchase to aid in doing larger surface areas (I find once I use a strip to remove hair it doesn't work on the next area, so I have to use a new strip for every section of hair). I would recommend exfoliating in a hot shower with a body scrub before using the epilator so your pores are open. Think of it as TWEEZING your leg hairs one by one, because it's the same as tweezing your eyebrow hairs, one by one, just much faster. And still painful. And of course there was a bit of pain as this was my first time using an epilator and you have to learn how tight to pull your skin on your legs. I would also recommend using the wet attachment in the bathtub before moving to any other attachments as those are for more advanced people. I used the bikini line trimmer for my mustache, I don't have a bad one, just very light hairs, but I have tan skin and I'm very self conscious about it. Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. Secondly, I don't think it actually worked that well. It didn't remove hair as effectively as the other types Veet sell. It was sensitive, but should sensitive mean less effective?Mrs JK

It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.
Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? It has been years since I used a Hair product. I hated the smell and had concerns about chemicals I was applying to my skin. I decided to try again as I have sensitive skin. I went with this particular product so I wouldn't have to use my hands and hoping Aloe in this product would help with any sensitivity that may occur. I tested an area just like the directions said to do and found I needed to apply a little more than 3 minutes but my skin was not irritated. I put the came on while I let it sit a little longer and when I pulled of the cap some of the hair splattered onto my floor. Just to be safe I currently have the cap off so this won't happen again when I use it. I followed the directions again for applying and taking off hair and it worked perfectly. There were some areas that were missed somehow and applied to that area. Glad the smell wasn't too strong. The biggest thing I noticed after use is that my hair very noticeably started to grow back two days after. Just use to seeing it appear a couple of days after I shave. Back in the 1970s I was a teenager and Nair was THE ONLY THING that we used for hairy teenage legs. The stuff stank! My friend once shmeared some of it on her legs and then touched her closed eye by mistake and didn't have eyelashes or her right eyebrow for a whole month. So, I guess the stuff works. Flash forward to 2022 and I see this stuff on sale here at iHerb and I thought to myself, "Hey, it's been 50 years, they must have done something to make it smell better." They haven't. I have used many waxes in my adventures of home waxing. This is the only type I have used that has not caused me to break out in a rash and lessens the "after bumps". Obviously I still need to exfoliate every few days. I have tried others that are great on my skin but don't take the hair off well, and this does! Yay!
I've waxed for several years so I am not new to it. This wax was not great. It is stringy and didn't remove all the hair, even after several attempts, which you're not supposed to do. The only thing I did like was that it's white so you can see it to clean up. However, it doesn't clean up as easy as the normal GiGi wax. Normally I can just reapply the strip to the leftover wax and pull it off, this doesn't do that. It doesn't seem to stick well to the strips. I actually had it come off the strip mid-pull and fold over on itself. I returned it. Oh, I also bought it to do my eyebrows since I have sensitive skin, this left my face just as red as the normal wax. My eyes are normally red for 2-3 days after waxing my brows and this was no different.

This was my first time using an epilator and I see the appeal. The faster speed worked better for my legs. It was indeed painful, but the second time I went back to do it a second time and it hurt a little less, and every time after that much less so. I guess it's similar to doing your eyebrows. My lower legs it did a great job of removing all the hair — but my thighs it was less effective as the hair is much finer. The hair itself isn't that noticeable anyway because of how fine it is so that it missed some isn't a problem for me. Armpits are very painful to do. Bikini line not too bad but some areas hurt more than others. It's easy to hold and is relatively fast to do and ends up with a nice smooth finish that lasts much longer than shaving. Do it on Friday and you're good for the weekend and a few days into the week.LDeimos
This is my first experience with an epilator. It’s small and compact, easy to hold and grip while using and the instructions are easy to understand. I was nervous using it for the first time. It does take some getting used too and there is some minor discomfort. So far I’ve only used it on my legs, but I’m pleased with the results. This is one of the biggest failures I purchased. After checking so many reviews, I decided to buy this epilator, not from Amazon, but from a different website. BUT I had to come here and share my thoughts. I’ve been epilating my body for 15 years, so I guess I’m “educated” enough to share my experience.
1. The 3 speeds are USELESS. It doesn’t pull out from the root, it SHAVES!! That defeats the purpose of an epilator.
2. The large head does nothing. I go over the same area again and again and my hair is still there!
3. Doesn’t catch the small hair – just the longer one (again, useless!)
4. The adjustable head hurts your skin – it “catches” your skin from time to time while using it. It HURTS and leaves MARKS on your skin.
5. The battery life is too short. If you’re really “hairy”, one charge won’t do it.
6. I’ve never had ingrown hair from my previous epilators, well I have them now from this one.

I used this product with my wife. We have been using the SmoothSkin Pure Mini once a week for about 4 weeks now as the directions instructed. The manual says that you can do a full body treatment in as little as 10 minutes, but it took 10 to 15 minutes to do both full legs. The product has 2 settings, regular and sensitive, the difference is the brightness/strength of the light flash. There is an internal fan because the bright light does produce heat, it sounds like a quiet hair dryer. It is very easy to use, just put the window side flush against your skin and push the button (either regular or sensitive) and it will emit a bright flash against your skin. There is a sensor that detects if the window is completely flush against the skin and if it isn’t it will not flash. For areas where it is not flat skin (ex: knees) there is a magnetic attachment that fits over the window that makes the window area smaller allowing for the product to be flush against the skin and flash. There was no discomfort, redness or irritation when using the product. After about 10 minutes of use the flashes do get warmer and warmer which can cause discomfort, I just waited a minute or two for it to cool off a little and continued the treatment. We used the sensitive setting on the inside of the thighs and on the back of the knee area since these are more sensitive areas and the flashes on the regular setting were a little hot. My wife has light skin and light hair on her legs and the instructions say it works best on darker hair, so she was a little skeptical on whether this would work for her. It wasn’t until after her second treatment (week 2) that she noticed a change in the growth of hair on the treated area compared to the non-treated tattooed area. The hair was not growing back as quickly in the treated areas because it was shorter than the tattooed area hair. I noticed that some of the thicker hairs were not coming as thick and a little squirrely (not straight) which made me think the treatment was affecting the hair follicles. We will continue using this product and doing the weekly treatments for the full 12 weeks and I will update this review when the treatment is done.PaulieB1
Home IPL devices for hair removal can really be hit or miss. Sometimes they work great, but suffer from slow speed or the bulbs don't last very long. Other models just don't work very well at all. With the Smoothskin Mini those problems don't see to be an issue at all and the results are great. The device itself is incredibly compact, making it very easy to manuveur and get it angled exactly how you need it to get both large and small areas of skin. It's comfortable to hold and overall the design supports an easy use. The Mini has several really amazing features that help make the entire process effortless. The first being the skin contact sensor that measures your skin tone before each light pulse, which makes sure you are using the strongest but safest light pulse for each pulse. It also sports several intensity and comfort settings to make sure that you have all the control and aren't in pain while using the device. All of this with a very quick firing light makes using the Mini effortless and incredibly quick compared to previous IPL devices I've used. The results are really great. After about 6 weeks I've seen really noticable results and because it's so easy to use is one reason I think the results will last. I don't dread using it and don't have to commit an hour to a treatment so continual use will be no problem. Smoothskin Mini IPL hair remover does what it says. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. Comes with 2 comfort modes and three intensity levels for sensitive areas and more stubborn thicker hair and an attachment for precision it comes in handy for smaller spots. It has an automatic detection for skin tone so it measure what light level is needed. I am covered in tattoos so I did try it first on a small part of a leg tattoo that could easy be fixed if it damaged the color of it but had no issues using it on them. I love the compact size but I do wish it was wireless so I could use it anywhere in a more convenient comfortable spot in my house rather then plugged in the cord is long enough but that’s just me prefer cordless. I started with my armpits and bikini area once a week as directed those spots have the thicker hair on my body I noticed the difference of less hair growth in about 3 weeks but feel like if you had more thick corse hair it will take longer, I’ve shaved my armpits less often the hair also that grows back is thinner I hope eventually I won’t have to shave at all yay! I did my legs which the hair is very thin it takes about maybe 15-20 mins to do both legs entirely I’ve seen the difference with hair growth much more in a few weeks some spots hair has not grown back at all I do rub vitamin E oil on my legs and other areas on my body about 30 mins after to soothe my skin although it’s nothing like waxing no skin irritation at all. I’ve been using Nair off and on for yeeeaaars. What can I say- it works. It stinks to high heaven, but it removes hair in about 10minutes and is mostly hassle-free. It leaves some kind of a weird residue when you try to wash off in the shower; but I learned many years ago that you can wash it off your body with shampoo first, and then continue with your regular products and your skin will be left smooth and hairless. I had an ex try to use it on his junk once – bad idea ğŸ¤ğŸ˜… His skin was very sensitive and did not tolerate the formula. I don’t have issues with sensitive skin on my body, so I never experienced that- but felt it important to mention that even though it says “sensitive skinâ€� on the package, it’s not great to use on sensitive skin. Of course, you can always patch test. He didn’t do that, so he got to learn a valuable lesson 😇ladonna.t

I got this product specifically for hair removal on my arms. I have thin blonde-ish hair on my arms, but a lot of it. When its completely grown out, it is very noticeable. I had been waxing but the appointments were further apart than I would have preferred and also costly. I decided to try this on recommendation from a friend. It works fairly well on my arm hair, I can go about two to three weeks in between uses, but it doesnt get *every* single hair and maybe thats an unfair expectation to have of it. However I did decide to try it out on my legs and stomach. My leg hairs are much thicker and coarser, as well as darker. I left it on for about 10 minutes and there was hardly any difference, I still had to shave after. I would give a 2/5 rating for this product on my legs. As for my stomach hair, its similar to my arm hair (I wear a lot of crop tops and in the sun the light catches the hair and I'd just rather not have any) but the results weren't as good. 3/5 for my stomach. I do like that the hair doesn't grow back pokey and I feel the hair growth has been slowed. I had *some* skin irritation but nothing some lotion couldn't remedy. I also like that I can use this product much more often than I could if I was going to get the hair removed with wax. Overall, I give it 4/5. I feel due to the nature of the product it may be hard to increase performance without making it too harsh.Nicole
