I received this product in exchange for a review. This product works pretty well but not out of the ballpark amazing. I am 6 months pregnant right now and currently have a hard time keeping up on my platinum blonde hair. That being said thai product is pretty concentrated and does it's job pretty well for the ends of my hair that are still very much blonde. I really don't like the smell of this shampoo I think it is overwhelmingly resemblance of being in a salon and am pretty glad the scent does not continue far beyond the rinse. As for if it improved my hair structure I would say I didn't see any improvement there at all but I still have a full bottle despite using it daily. The yellow tone though is pretty much gone though. I would recommend it if it were drastically price cut because the price tag associated with this product is way too high in my opinion I've used other products under 10 dollars with the same results that you can easily pick up at your local store.Hefaroni26
I know the going trend is purple/grey platinum blonde, which I don't think this would be the best for, but if u want to keep your warmth without being brassy, this works better than any purple shampoos I've used. I have a lot of Irish heritage, pale skin and eyes, lots of light freckling in sun touched spots and firey red and gold inside my naturally brown follicles that shines very brightly in sun light. The warmth has become more pronounced with age and even the stripes of brunette that are left untouched after doing lightening balayage are a redening chestnut/auburn. the warm blonde really compliments my coloring so I'm not complaining, I just don't want it to be too yellow or too brassy. all of the other purple shampoos I have tried made my hair look almost green, even redken which I read was specifically recommended by experts for warm blondes, and it didn't matter how quick I rinsed it out after applying,, it clashed with my hair coloring so badly.. I hated it. I was so thrilled to try this and find it actually worked perfectly, no brassy-ness or ugly yellow, just perfectly golden honey warm blonde and auburn/chestnut. I love ash blonde and the purple tinted platinum but this happy accident of a warm hair color works better on me than I'd have imagined and I'm so thrilled to find a way to maintain it. idk about it being drying like some others said, I've found all purple shampoos to be a little drying, I assumed because they lather so well and also I do a pre-wash so there's no product impeding it. having color treated hair, I always add lots of super conditioning products, hydraters and proteins treatments before I'm done on wash day and also being a warm blonde, I only use purple shampoo once a month, preferably when it's time for a clarifying cleanse and I do an oil treatment the night before. I am told by my stylist that I have fine hair but a lot of it. I was noticing that I was losing what looked like a lot of hair to me in the shower and in my brushes. I tried some different shampoos and conditioners and none seemed better than the others. I was having a particular problem with tangles when my hair was wet. I have very hard water so that is probably part of the issue. My sister has amazing hair, she grows it down to her waist and donates it to a wigs for kids program. She uses this shampoo and conditioner even though she doesn't color her hair so I tried it and it is working great for me. Detangles, my hair looks healthy, and I see less coming out in the shower and brushes. I use the shampoo and conditioner together every other day. On the in-between day I get it wet and just use a little conditioner from around where a low ponytail would be to the ends for detangling. I thought the fragrance was too strong at first but have gotten used to it now. I would still love a fragrance free or more subtle natural fragrance option but it is getting the results I wanted so I plan to keep using it.Lucy
I have tried many shampoos for my bleached blonde hair. This shampoo works amazing on my dry brittle hair. I personally think it works way better than Opalex. My hair has gotten extremely damaged from using OGX products that currently have a class action lawsuit against them for formaldehyde, cancer causing ingredients & instead of moisturizing & repairing it's drying it from the inside out, causing horrible damage you didn't see starting, until you have a ton of broken hair & even HAIR LOSS!! i got this conditioner because the ingredients looked legit and i thought i might as well try it out, and WOW it's so amazing for my hair! i have 3b-c curly hair and i use this conditioner all the time. it's so moisturizing and makes my hair super soft and really helps in delivering moisture deep into my hair so it lasts. not to mention it smells so amazing, kind of perfumy so if you have some sensitivities or allergies it might not be the best for you but if you don't it's a great smell. the texture is pretty thick and it does a great job moisturizing so i'm not sure if it would be the best for daily use but i use it every couple of days when i style my hair and after washing and it works great. overall, it's a great conditioner for my thick hair and i would totally recommenddrew
I used the Aluram Daily Clean beauty shampoo since the summer and my hair started going through its winter dry spell where more flakes were noticeable in my dark brown hair. Given that I loved the Daily Clean shampoo, I figured I'd try the Moisturizing shampoo. It unfortunately has not helped with moisturizing my scalp and preventing flakes. I have been using the Unite 7 Seconds leave in conditioner for a few years. Normally I purchase it at a local salon but found this deal on Groupon so I decided to give it a try. It does not smell right. In fact, it smells pretty terrible. I m not sure if it is a counterfeit product or just sat on a shelf too long but it is definitely not the same as the product I purchased in the salon. Unfortunately there are no refunds/exchanges on this product so I may just throw it away because if it s not the real deal, I m not sure what it might do to my hair. Big bummer.
I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. Docked a star because the smell is a bit strong on the harsher side – almost like pickles! It doesn't seem to make my hair smell but it's a bit rough when it is sprayed. I have huge blonde hair care regiment but recently was sent this samples from Pinchme.com and I fell in love with this product the moroccanoil blonde perfecting shampoo and conditioner color care. I could tell after one use the different in my strands as far as they felt fuller softer and a lot stronger too. I have already purchased my own and is in its way in the mail as we speak. But I can’t say enough about the shampoo seriously the strength added to my hair after using and the toning feature was amazing. I have different depths of blonde and I felt that this made those lighter money pieces that perfect icy I’ve been looking for + strengthening in other product and only found here. Others I have to use separate product .. with moraccanoil u get it all in one tube!! Smell is beautiful the product color is rich purple and it won’t leave ur hair heavy or with residue. But clean and healthy feeling. I used as shampoo then rinsed … swueeze out all water from hair with hands and reapply from front hair line back to ur ends and massage thru without sudsing up the product and leave set for 10/15 minutes depending on how porous ur hair is. (Do this for more toning effect) Mines was needing toned again and is pretty porous so I left in longer… but not too long. Anyhow I’d recommend to anyone who has chemically treated and or damaged hair needing give it some TLC. Price is fair considering other brand and they dint work as well as this one trust me.. I’ve wasted a lot of money trying to find the right ones to maintain my blond locks!! Also I left my conditioner in for about 5minutes too. But my hair is very dry of course. Thus those luxurious healing oils in moroccanoil products… u get more strength tans healing from them than any other!! I think this is the combo for me! Today is my first day using the Moroccanoil Purple Shampoo and the Moroccanoil Purple Conditioner, and here's my thoughts: Both the shampoo and conditioner have a rich purple color, which is nice since most conditioners I've tried in the past are much lighter in color compared to their shampoo counterpart. Both smell really nice, too. I left the shampoo in for about 5 minutes, rinsed, and then I left the conditioner in for probably 5+ minutes before I rinsed with cold water. This is the best toning combination I've ever tried. After one use, I can definitely tell the difference in less brassiness. I wouldn't recommend leaving both products in as long as I did, however – I purposely did so to see if I could get a dramatic result, and a few strands have a very light violet/gray tone to them, which I love! I will definitely be buying both the shampoo and conditioner soon since I think both will help keep my hair healthy and a nice shade of blondechopper923
It has got rich, creamy and lathering texture, don’t need to use a lot of product and it lathers through the hair well. The colour is brightly deep purple and pigmented. The scent feels a bit strong during washing but after washing and through the day hair smell nice, refreshed and fragrance is mild. After washing hair is easy to brush but once hair is dry combing is a bit harder, hair feels dry and like straws therefore it causes some hair breakage. There is much difference in hair tone, hair looks much brighter, shiner, radiant, lighter and improved in colour. On the second day hair still feels clean and fresh in scent, however I have noticed that this shampoo dries out hair and strips off it’s natural moisture. Another minus for this product that it stains under nails and some dry skin areas which takes time to wash off. I would not use this product frequently but occasionally (once a week or once in two weeks). But I would definitely recommend for colour improvement, brightening and lightening dullness in colour.irina.g

I got this product due to a lot of good reviews. I use professional purple shampoo but ran out so figured id give this a go. MISTAKE. After 3 uses my hair is falling out in huge clumps, like cleaning your hairbrush once a month clumps. It's horrible! The smell is so chemical smelling and when trying to wash it out my hair felt like straw and I couldn't even put my fingers through it!!! I had to add conditioner on top of the shampoo just to be able to break through and wash the shampoo out. Worst mistake and I'm taking it back to ulta. Why is this product even a best seller? Be careful and mindful when purchasing this do your research on the ingredients and what is used to make this product work as I wasn’t aware it would quit literally strip my hair of thousands of dollars worth of work away from my hair …. this product has like a lightning agent in it as it bleached my roots and made my hair super ugly …. and quit literally damaged your hair it did this in as little as 3 minutes for me … so be careful not sure who this product work for ? Or why or what it’s intent is ?? but I thought it was a toner but it does the opposite it like strips / bleached ur hair leaving more work to be done … and patches !! so for the past around 8 years I've been using Shimmer Lights, since everyone would recommend that to me. Recently I tried Matrix purple shampoo, which worked the same way as shimmer lights. Where if you leave it on too long, you get purple hair… and I thought that was the case with all purple shampoo. Until I watched a Brad Mondo video and he reviewed this shampoo and it looked great in the video. But was it in real life…? My hair is a little yellow too after the bleach, which the shimmer lights, would just turn it to purple, which I thought was better then yellow. Finally tried this shampoo, and it takes a couple uses, esp since I had tinted purple hair as well. But it became a nice white platinum color as stated. Which was super shocking to me, that it never left any tint of purple, no matter how long it was on for. Brad mondo, referred to the scent as candy, i would say it's more of a floral scent. Doesn't feel as damaging as shimmer lights either. And around the same price range too, which is nice. I will definitely be turning over to this shampoo from now onJillian

I wanted to try blue toning shampoo and bought the trial sizes to give this a shot. I have always used purple and saw very little results. I read the directions very quickly, I didn't use gloves and I used a white towel to try my hair. I didn't even think of the blue color that was deposited into my hair I used this product for the first time yesterday and all I can say is WOW! I did see blue everywhere but it didn't stain my shower, hands, nails or my towels. My highlights looked brighter and I think I even saw more of them and I was impressed with just one use. The smell was nice but I thought it was too strong but once you dry your hair the smell disappears. Not sure if I will use this shampoo more than maybe once or twice a week because I don't want to darken my highlight I just want to see less brass and red. If you are hesitant to try this product because of the blue color you could use gloves and I would definitely use it in the shower so that the product washes out once it hits the floor you could even keep a brush in your shower if you want to make sure no blue residue lingers behind. All toning shampoos have color the purple once I used before does and I never had an issue. Everyone's experience is different but I would definitely give this product a try.Tophersmom
I haven't changed anything in my hair care routine except this. The first time I used it, meh it did the job and made my hair a lot brighter. Mind you I only use this twice a month because purple shampoo is so harsh. The second time I used this, HOLY DRYNESS. It literally sucked every bit of moisture out of my hair and turned my hair silver, which was fine, but I looked like a hag due to the frizz. I've never experienced such harshness from a product. I've had to completely reset my hair by not putting any heat or this shampoo on my hair for a month. It ruined my hair for my graduation and I couldn't be anymore disappointed in this product. Not to mention it doesn't lather at all and I felt like I had to use a ton of it to clean my hair. This shampoo from Redken smells amazing. To me it smells like a soft cologne scent. This shampoo looks so cool..it is purple. The product felt soft on my hands and in my hair. It does say to appy wearing gloves but I did not wear gloves. The shampoo did not stain my hands. My hair is very yellow blonde and very warm tone and this shampoo did work. After I blowed dried my hair I could see that my hair was a bit more cooler blonde and the yellow and brassiness was tone downed. I'm giving this a 4 instead of a 5 because I wish when washing my hair the shampoo foamed more. It did not create that soapy shampoo feeling and that kinda made me use more product because I wanted to make sure I got my hair cleaned and had the shampoo everywhere. I’ve been around the block when it comes to purple shampoos and this is one of the best ones I have tried, if not the best. I think one of the most annoying things about purple shampoos is how drying they can be on the hair but after using this my hair actually felt more hydrated. The toning on my hair was pretty significant as well, even without having my hair done in 4 months. When using purple shampoo I like to let it sit on my hair for a few minutes in the shower before rinsing off. I’ll admit I didn’t have high hopes for this but after using it it will definitely be a new staple in my routine! I love this stuff and can't get enough of it! my 3rd bottle already and it's the only purple shampoo I trust for my blonde highlights! Loooove the smell especially! it's not a drying formula unlike any other purple shampoos I tried which is also another major plus. What I do is I dampened the hair slightly with just a lil bit of water then I squeeze a good amount on my palm (more than they recommend on the bottle) and place it all over my blonde highlights. I leave it on for 30-45 mins and then properly rinse it. This technique uses a lot more product than what's recommended on the bottle but I noticed that this way the brassiness stays gone for a month long so I only need to do this once a month. I could not recommend this shampoo and my technique enough! I love love love this shampoo!Sha
TLDR – great shampoo, horrible packaging I love this shampoo! Smells so good and has made a huge difference in my hair color. However, that packaging is horrible. The shampoo is constantly leaking out of the top of the lid. Every time I get in the shower, every other product even remotely near it is covered in a purple layer of shampoo. I should have caught the red flag when every other bottle in store was leaking and I thought I had found the one bottle that wasn’t leaking. Conditioner doesn’t have same issue… I wonder why. I feel like I’ve lost half the bottle by it just leaking out. Product could be vastly improved by putting it in a bottle that does its’ job.Disappointed

Actually, I never noticed a smell, so Idk what the other reviewers are talking about. It works. That's the important bit. It cleans your hair and it adds that purple tint so the red is neutralized and your hair is as ash as could be and even slightly purple. It's strong stuff! As such, it's a slow pump. That, I find annoying, but ultimately it aids in my not wasting product. A little goes a long way with Bed Head products. I would even say it's safe and possibly advisable to "cut" this with water or a cheaper product laying around, especially if you crave lather and bubbles. It still works even when cut.Creirwy
Wow! This shampoo really impressed me❣💜 I wasn't expecting too drastic of a toning effect from this but was surprised. Ulta had it on sale for half off, and I just wanted to try something different than my usual stuff. My hair is light brown with blonde highlights so this helps give the highlights more shine and depth. My hair literally gleams when the sun hits it. I have tried another toning shampoo in the past from Tigi (Catwalk Violet shampoo) and that one also was amazing, but harder to find now. This one is just as great though, if not better! Light citrusy scent, nothing crazy. It lathers well and my hair stays oil free for at least 2 days after shampooing. Overall I would totally buy this again recommend 😊becca.v
The only reason I gave it one star is because of the smell, it actually smells good. I had seen some reviews stating this shampoo was bad but since it had more positive reviews I decided to give it a try and OMG what a big mistake!.. I used it for about a month, and by the time I decided to stop using it my hair was completely destroyed!. I have chemical treated hair but this is supposedly made for my type of hair, well it dried my hair so much, like no other shampoo ever before. It lathers up really well and you don't have to use a lot, so I didn't use much of the bottle. But every time I used it I noticed how my hair was so dried afterwards, even when using the reconstructor (which btw was so hard to get out of the bottle). I even tried using a leave in conditioner but nothing worked. And surprisingly as soon as I stopped using it my hair went back to normal (in about a week). This shampoo lives up to its name! Very impressed. I used Redken long ago but it’s been years since I purchased the brand since I’m always trying new and innovative products. When I received this High Bright line the timing couldn’t have been better and my hair is very light blonde, and I’ve been working hard to combat it becoming brassy from mineral deposits in my well water. Initially I thought this shampoo would have a tint (I assumed blue/purple toning element) so I was surprised to see this was clear. The consistency is thick like a jelly but with major slip. It’s quite a different feeling, but it suds up very well on my scalp. I only wash my hair twice per week so it does get quite greasy but fortunately this cuts through that even without a double wash. I can tell when rinsing out my hair feels smooth even before conditioning to seal everything. The scent is also so delicious- almost like a unisex almost a light cologne scent but not too masculine. I’m combination with the High Bright conditioner, after washing drying and styling as normal I can say that my hair is softer and shinier than it has been in a very long time! Like so shiny it’s what I have been desperately looking for in a product. I’m not sure of the ingredients that make my hair look light and bright, but it is effective and leaves it with a super clean feel (no weight). Will definitely repurchase when I run out. I’ll start by saying I have used many Redken products in the past and I have always been very impressed with this line. It’s also one of the more affordable professional salon brands out there and I highly recommend the brand overall! When I first tried this shampoo I used it in conjunction with the pre treatment spray and conditioner. Using all three of these products together definitely gave the best results! I also used this shampoo without the pre treatment and it still gave a good brightness to my blonde on its own!At first I expected this to be a purple toning shampoo, especially based on the color of the bottle but this in NOT a purple toning shampoo! However this does help to cut brass tones just the same way purple toning shampoos do. The difference is that this does a lot more than just tone! It brightens the blondes and keeps it healthy, shiny and not dried out or hard to manage! I think this is a great shampoo for regular use on blondes since it does keep it healthy and manageable. Unlike purple toning shampoos that should be used less frequently in blonde hair as causes the hair to be dry and frizzy if used too frequently. This shampoo helped to keep my hair looking good in between salon visits! I was also able to go longer in between salon visits with this shampoo! I will definitely be purchasing this again! Only thing I wish is if they could narrow down the line to just shampoo and conditioner and not the pre treatment just to keep things faster and simpler!alyssa .c
Just like the High Bright pre-treatment and shampoo, this conditioner is a stellar product! I’m so happy Influenster sent this to me otherwise I may not have tried this line. I was a big Redken fan years ago, but have just wanted to try so many other big lines and new products that I hadn’t gone back to Redken. These products used together are absolutely effective and love you to the claim of bight blonde results. My community well water leaves trace mineral deposits that full my hair and also make it feel brittle, so when I go to my hair girl every 12 weeks she works hard to bleach and tone me (my ends especially) to brighten me up again. I’m a level 9/10, so any products that help are a big plus. What I love about this product is not only the beautiful package and lovely unisex scent, but this conditioner has no toning elements it’s white not blue/purple, and it’s thick like a mask instead of a typical conditioner. I apply after shampooing and let sit for 5-10 minutes while I finish up my shower and rinse out right at the end. Oh my gosh this not only makes my hair look bright and shiny, but My hair is so so soft and smooth. I’m shocked. My hair is softer than it has been in a very long time, even though I use other prestigious hair care products that claim to hydrate. My ends especially need extra moisture and wow do they look great. Regardless if I heat style or air dry, my hair looks smooth with less frizz than before, and so soft. I’m obsessed! I will definitely repurchase. As mentioned these products have been great so far and I look forward to how bright my hair reminds after 10 more week of use ahead of my next hair appt! I use this shampoo in conjunction with the Colorharmony conditioner to keep my silver hair sparkling. Together they remove any yellow undertones that I have in my hair. I bought this as a two pack on Amazon. I used it for the full year I had platinum blonde hair. I’ll be honest, I just use purple shampoo because my stylist says I should. I never really notice a difference when I use it or I don’t. I do like this one, but I’m currently using another brand I like more. This one did clean my hair, but it just didn’t suds up like I like it to. I left it on my hair for as long as possible. I like the bottle how sleek it is and the pump is wonderful too! Wow! This shampoo really impressed me❣💜 I wasn't expecting too drastic of a toning effect from this but was surprised. Ulta had it on sale for half off, and I just wanted to try something different than my usual stuff. My hair is light brown with blonde highlights so this helps give the highlights more shine and depth. My hair literally gleams when the sun hits it. I have tried another toning shampoo in the past from Tigi (Catwalk Violet shampoo) and that one also was amazing, but harder to find now. This one is just as great though, if not better! The purple shampoo and conditioner BedHead offers is the best of the best. I use it to calm down the brassiness. The bonus is that it somehow conditions my hair better so the curls form better as well. My hair is light brown but tends to go a bit in the brassy tones so I find this helpful.lori.k

AMAZING shampoo for curlies. It's so gentle and has the wonderful inclusion of proteins and ingredients that encourage curl definition. My hair stays super soft and silky with this and my color barely budgets over time. I also regularly use the Verb Sea conditioner for added texture and that can be drying with some shampoos but the hydration this gives makes my conditioner work a million times better when I used to only be able to use that with the Ghost shampoo. Can't beat the absurdly reasonable price either!
I love this shampoo for curly hair. I was not planning to buy this large pump bottle, but it was much cheaper to buy the larger than the smaller size (per ounce). My salon is about this price for the smaller size! For some reason the shipment was first sent to my town (but not to my house – my town was shown on the shipment location on the tracking order) and then sent to another town out of state, and by the time I got the shipment at my house it was later than anticipated. The most important thing to know about this masque is something at least 2 hairdressers have told me to do. Leave some of this product in your hair! Don’t rinse it all out! It makes your hair beautifully shiny and glorious, not stiff or dull the way other conditioners would if you didn’t rinse them out. This is the way they were taught to use it by a Framesi rep years ago. So…very lightly rinse, then comb out with a mixture of water and the masque still in your hair. Holy COW , this WORKS !!! I have struggled to find a purple shampoo that actually does anything. A little background on my hair. I often will go get my hair done and then life will happen and it’ll be like 9 months to a year before I get back around to coming back again. I thought my brassy, horrific mop was beyond saving but I was wrong. I tried this in the shower and didn’t lather up with it. I smoothed 2x the amount I would use to wash my hair throughout, concentrating on the ends especially. I then went about washing my face and body. I probably left it on about 6 minutes. The first time I used the shampoo I didn’t see a huge difference and I thought well okay I expected that. But the SECOND time I used this as I described, the next morning I woke up and every single bit of the brassiness is gone. I am shocked. My blonde is gorgeous and icy again. The only thing I don’t like about this shampoo is that, while it is not drying, it leaves a weird film on the hair. But that could be removed by doing a second wash with a different shampoo. I used this product on my brown hair to blonde bayalage. I had very prominent yellow streaks in parts of my hair that hadn't been bleached before so with proper maintenance I used this product and the shampoo 2x a week and it kept the yellow from coming through for about a week before I would have to use it again. went through the entire bottles, never wasted a drop. I decided to try this shampoo for extra toning when trying to maintain an icier blonde shade between appointments with my colorist. It is among one of the more potent violet shampoos and will help enhance your blonde. It is also less drying than another violet shampoos on the market, which is another plus of this product. I was given this as a gift. At the time, I had deep purple hair. This shampoo really helped at keeping my color in check. Mine has a pump dispenser, which makes dispensing very easy for me. I don't like that the dispenser dripped every so often at inopportune times, like when no one was in the shower. This shampoo stains, so after shampooing, you need to rinse off your hands pretty darn fast. I love the smell, the color and the way it leaves my hair sof. I'm down to a 1/4 bottle now. I'm going too purchase my own this time. I'm satisfied with this shampoo
