I bought a $10 bikini trimmer at a bargain store about a decade ago. It became my absolute favorite HG trimmer that never failed me. I could literally have my whole area done in 5 minutes, and felt smooth as a baby's bum. No pain or dealing with the horrible after-shaving itchies/ingrowns. Good times. It finally died and since then, I've bought countless trimmers from cheap to expensive hoping to find one that matched up to that cheap trimmer but had no luck. This was affordable until I discovered the bikini trimmer didn't last me for a long time. The first time I purchased it everything was great until the trimmer stopped working even only using it a few times. Env: development I have tried countless brands of women's razor products to help keep my skin soft and smoothe. Among these many brands are Gillette, BIC, Venus, and Schick. Of these brands, the latter has kept my loyalty for the past year and a half. I have to give my props to Schick for their effective marketing and advertising of their most recent product, the Schick Quattro Trim Style for women. Priced at only 9.99 at major retailers like Wal-Mart, this product has a dual head (one for bikini trimming and one for the regular shaving of legs, armpits, etc. If you don't think this product is one of the MOST coveted of shaving products on the market you either 1. Don't shave or 2. Are completely out of touch with the world. When this product was first introduced to consumers you could not flip through a single channel without seeing or hearing the commercial with the women walking by the pool and the bushes trimming themselves into triangular bikini shapes. This commercial led me to desire and need the Trim Style when I didn't even know I "needed" it. After purchasing the product, I felt satisfied because I had achieved something I felt I was supposed to do (it must have been an effect of all the advertising). After actually trying the product I must say its not better than any other Schick product except that it provides the convenience of a bikini trimmer on one end of it (which I barely use). It still has the disposable blade on the regular razor end and it must be replaced over time or it won't be as effective. Overall I would call this product average. This is a great shaver/trimmer. I was super surprised for the price. I have tried several Remington shavers, even some more expensive than this with terrible results. This shaver gives you no nicks and it shaves down the hairs to 1/8 of an inch! Several reviews have said it isn't a close enough shave with the head attachment on but any closer and all the hair would be shaved off. Make sure to read the instruction book because it tells you how to hold the shaver correctly for the best shave. You also can use the trimmer with the head attachment off. I am unfortunately unable to provide a full review of the product as I was unable to use it in the condition it was sent to me. I noticed that the box had some minor damage/wear suggesting it had been open before. Upon closer inspection of the blade, I noticed a few very small bits of hair/fuzz. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. I immediately contacted Ulta and received the automated response to expect a reply within 24 hours. Over a day later, still no response. I want to give Ulta the benefit of the doubt, as it is a pretty horrible thing to deceptively return such a product and claim it was never used. The hairs are faint so I could understand how they may have been overlooked, but still I would hope more care would be given, especially given the nature of the product. In my opinion, a product of this nature should always be final sale, barring mechanical defects that prevent it from functioning to begin with. I live over an hour away from my most convenient Ulta store, and it is proving to be a hassle to get this exchanged. I used the guard on the shortest setting and it trims the hair down to an 1/8 of an inch. The stubble it leaves is not scratchy at all. My husband loves the look and feel afterwards. This razer/trimmer combo is a great concept. It's a little bulky at first feel but doesn't really make a impact, just takes a few uses to get used to. The trimmer side has an adjustable guard that I found more than suitable for my goatee length. When using guard I had no issues with it. I love a good gadget and this one fits the bill. Schick makes a good razor. I get a nice smooth shave with just wet skin and soap on my neck. I also have beard that my wife likes to be well trimmed, shaped and groomed. The razor gives me no nicks and cuts. The other side is a trimmer that has a few length settings with the guard. I used it to trim back my bushy eyebrows and it did a good job. I also removed the guard and used the clipper by itself to shape my beard edging and it did a good job, not a great job but definitely a good job…Given the compact and lightweight size of this thing, the fact that the clipper/trimmer does any good is a pleasant surprise. When I need to do a big trimming job, I need to break out the official plug in clippers but for the in between jobs, this is perfect! It's also covered in silicone so it's easy to grip. I really like the color of this groomer and like the little bag that zips up that can carry all the attachments. I also like that it is rechargeable and doesn't eat up batteries. The problem is that it doesn't get a very close shave. Some of the attachment heads are just useless to me. The foil shaver didn't work at all. I used these razors religiously when I could find them for sale. These are impossible to find in store these days. I liked them because they are small, but easy to handle/control. I was pleasantly surprised how well this works, having given up on electric shavers decades ago. It shaves relatively close when I've used it dry, and conforms to the body shape. I haven't yet used it wet. I’m single, and at this point in my life only shave my bikini baby fresh after my period. I shave my legs, arms and armpits almost everyday. Since my bikini is crazy overgrown every time I use the trimmer first, then the razer. It has a circle of gel soap around the razer for extra slip (usually when it’s gone I replace the razer refill) but I would still use shaving cream for the bikini for sure. It’s guarded like my emotions and won’t cut you, I like to get it over with and hate to shave so I move dangerously fast and haven’t cut myself yet. The head is curved and pivots to the curves of your body, and most of the time you only need one swipe (unless it’s a bush)lisa.l
I’ve been using this razor/trimmer for years. I purchased a new one recently because the trimmer end seemed a little dull (I like to replace about once a year, so it was about time anyway). The new one was great and worked as it should. My complaint is the trimmer end has rusted, not sure if they started using different materials to make them but this has never happened before. It still works but I’m stuck now having to purchase a whole new one since it seems as though you can’t get replacement parts for the trimmer end. I haven’t had the new one very long maybe a few months, its kept in my shower even when I’m not using it because that’s just where I’ve always kept them. Not sure why they don’t offer replacement parts for the trimmer end.Ok product
It works well, when it works. Unfortunately once the battery (triple a) it comes with dies, it quits working and won't work with a replacement triple a. I'm indifferent to the razor head, as I'm not very picky. I do like the trimmer without the guard, I found that I really didn't get any ingrown hairs. But the battery just died and it won't work with any replacement battery. I have no option but to throw it away since I mainly bought it for the trimmer.Stef

I bought a $10 bikini trimmer at a bargain store about a decade ago. It became my absolute favorite HG trimmer that never failed me. I could literally have my whole area done in 5 minutes, and felt smooth as a baby's bum. No pain or dealing with the horrible after-shaving itchies/ingrowns. Good times.
