I have purchased tape in extensions as well as replacement tape from other companies before I started using glam seamless. I can say glam seamless is by far the best products i have used so far. THE BEST tape for hair extensions i’ve tried, holds super well(even if you aren’t a professional and just wanting to play around with extensions and watch youtube videos). Very easy to use, don’t over complicate it. i’ve found that using the remover works better after taking the actual extensions out of my hair after letting my hair soak in warm water for a few minutes then using that to get the rest of the actual tape out. But that may not be a good idea, i don’t know lol. The price in my opinion is very well worth what you’re getting, I would get the larger bottle of remover though, it lasts longer and it you get more for your money. i’m 20 so i’m not spending a lot of money on random things, we’ll maybe some 20 year old are but i don’t have that luxury, so my hair is what i love, that’s it. If they were put in by a professional (which is not going to happen because again, im a broke college student) they would probably last even longer before needing to be taken out and changed. These are surprisingly pretty amazing. The adhesive is quite impressive and has stayed put as long as three months to where my hair grew out quite a bit so it looked funny and I removed them with 91% alcohol easily. Theres always a couple to a few pieces that slip out before they should but out 25/30 tapes that are installed will have to be removed when theyre professionally installed; As it should be. Ive tried a few times installing them myself and it never holds past two washes… which is due to me incorrectly installing them I assume.These are my go to replacement tapes. Highly recommend.

I bought this tape to re-tape my Satin Strands 18" tape-in extensions that I purchased at Sally Beauty. This was the FOURTH time re-tapping these extensions.. that are still in tact and insanely healthy looking 🙂 I ended up doing this ENTIRE process myself… from removal of the extensions, removal of glue residue from extensions & hair, re-tapping, and re-installing. Actually, I had my best friend install the extensions for free 🙂 no… she is not a trained or certified hair stylist… but she did it for free LOL and didn't even watch a video, tutorial or look at pictures. Which annoyed me as she placed the last four (4) tape-in pieces, too high on my head. I had to remove them that night, re-tapped the next morning (after cleaning the tape off), and re-installed myself. I have been to the gym everyday since I have had them installed, sweat like crazy, I even toss and turn/sweat during my sleeps…. and they are still in! 🙂 The tape is holding up, no slippage and none have falling out. I also have washed my hair once since the install. I didn't end up getting all the previous tape/glue residue off my extensions, but tried my very best. The last stylist who installed them used GBB tape. It was almost IMPOSSIBLE to get out. I can't figure out why… having said that. These extension wefts weren't completely clean and free of residue, but I tried my very best…. and after 5 days at the gym and a wash, they are still holding up!!!! Highly recommend this product with Satin Strand tape-in extensions. I have ZERO complaints about this product…… sorry to the other ladies. Unfortunate it didn't work for you 🙁 xoxx

First time I used them, have had extensions for over a year. Same shampoo, conditioner and process only thing different was this new tape after the first wash 6 came out with tape entact, had to order new tape ( the original one) and wait until I received them only to do the process again within a week. Will never use this quick release again, if zero stars available I would give it! So sad that you pay for placement only to have the tape not hold and have to do it again! I have had my hair done professionally and also have been doing my hair myself for years with tape ins. I have used all types and I can say that for the money , these tape ins are not what they claim to be. The seams are thick and when you run your hair you can feel the bulkiness of the wefts. The positives are that the hair is soft and feels light. We will see how they hold up. Overall I’m not happy for how much I paid for these. I have spent $500 on hair and they were way better than spending that on these.Heather E.
