I had a sample packet of this which came with step 1 and step 2 that I had to mix together by myself. Seems like the full size doesn't require such mixing, which is nice, because it was a bit tricky. I applied it all over my hair and had it on for about 30 minutes. Already as I was rinsing it off I felt my hair being super soft and that is still the case today (the next day). My hair looks and feels healthy. The only thing is that the sample packet had 22ml of product in total and that was just about enough for my long hair, so that means I could only get 6-7 uses from the full size bottle, and that would mean each use would cost approximately 6-7 euros, which is a lot. I will say though that I'd still rather buy this treatment than the Don't despair, repair -hair mask, because to my experience that one doesn't do anything more than the conditioner in this range. I'd recommend this treatment for sure and would perhaps even invest in the full size, but I'll also be looking for a more affordable alternative.TiinaK
Let me start this review by saying I've always been a huge fan of Briogeo hair products. The quality, performance, ingredients, and results are superior to most.. and their new Rice Water Strengthening Treatment is no exception. Reviews on here were a little mixed, but I took the leap. I did a quick wash on my hair and applied about 3 pumps of product to my hair to start. Even as I was combing it through I saw how my hair reacted. My curls/coils were defined. I added another 2 pumps of product, worked it in really good and covered with a plastic cap for about 5 hours while I cleaned. Once I went to wash it I could feel how much softer my hair felt. I followed up with mask from the same line and wow. My hair was shiny, smooth and soft. I did a quick blow dry and was not disappointed at all. I typically don’t wash my hair myself but wanted to test this out I’ll be taking it to my hairdresser on wash weeks to implement into my routine. White girl with every kind of hair possible on her head all of which is prone to splitting and breaking! From a distance it's brown and mostly wavy/straight, up close… it's everything, every texture, every thickness, every colour. Got this to try to help with damaged ends and it does seem to help do some repair! It smells lovely, isn't greasy, oily, waxy, sticky, etc. Just a serum that you put in. I do it as an overnight mask and try to examine a day or so later after a normal wash and condition. My hair seems healthier when I use it once a week, and I see less split ends. This is meant for your ends, but I have been using a few tiny drops on my scalp and it has stopped my hair from shedding. It doesn't make my scalp feel dry or greasy or anything. Literally feels like i applied a bit of water. Not sure why I applied it to my scalp but it has been working for me. I read about this treatment in a blog and each user gave great reviews. I then read the reviews on this site and decided to give it a try. I was having serious hair shedding problems and after having three inches cut off; I was still having issues. I tried the treatment and yes immediately my problem was resolved. I washed, detailed and applied product and way less hairs were coming out. After a week of using, result is still less shedding and my hair is fuller, healthier. Had I found this treatment a month before, I would maybe have two inches more of hair on my head. I like the slip and the smell but more importantly less shedding from my new BFF.

Really enjoying this protein treatment for my wavy/curly 2C/3A hair. I have discovered that weekly protein treatments on wash day help make my curl pattern more defined. Previously I was using the Shea Moisture Protein Masque, but I disliked the strong fragrance. This rinse from NYM provides the same results but the scent is so much more manageable – a light, bright, slightly floral (?) smell. I’ve been struggling with hair loss lately and while it’s slowed down quite a bit I’ve been struggling to find something that doesn’t make it worse. I normally have really straight thick hair but lately it’s been thinning and dry. So I was looking for something to add moisture and remove weight. My scalp is regularly oily but build up flakes fast. This product kept my scalp clean and had a great scent, but not too strong. The only reason I didn’t keep or give it 5 stars was that it really didn’t add any moisture and that’s really what I was looking for. Like the other low-rated reviews, this left a film / residue on my hair. I tried using for a few months and got into a serious hair rut. I have thick, wavy hair. No matter how much I rinsed, it felt like I could never wash all of it out of my hair. My hair always felt greasy and heavy, and it weighed down my natural waves. It was awful. Just snip it shorter with scissors an inch or so and it will spray out perfectly. It is a thick product and it set angles and smoothes. This is the second time I have bought this product and I loved how it smelled the first time. I had this bottle from February to May and had no issue. I bought another bottle in May, and in September it began to smell foul. The color went from a light pink to a light brown. I threw it away with about a quarter left. If you aren't able to use the entire bottle within 2-3 months, it can GO BAD! I'm pretty sure the shelf life is labeled as much longer, so I am rather disappointed with the brand.Ashley
I have fine hair but a lot of it. I live in a humid climate and it’s so hard to find a hair product for me that doesn’t make my hair even more oily, doesn’t weigh it down, or help with my frizz. I used it as a primer with no other product, and my hair looked amazing all day, out in the sun during the current heat wave in Connecticut.
