I had a sample packet of this which came with step 1 and step 2 that I had to mix together by myself. Seems like the full size doesn't require such mixing, which is nice, because it was a bit tricky. I applied it all over my hair and had it on for about 30 minutes. Already as I was rinsing it off I felt my hair being super soft and that is still the case today (the next day). My hair looks and feels healthy. The only thing is that the sample packet had 22ml of product in total and that was just about enough for my long hair, so that means I could only get 6-7 uses from the full size bottle, and that would mean each use would cost approximately 6-7 euros, which is a lot. I will say though that I'd still rather buy this treatment than the Don't despair, repair -hair mask, because to my experience that one doesn't do anything more than the conditioner in this range. I'd recommend this treatment for sure and would perhaps even invest in the full size, but I'll also be looking for a more affordable alternative.TiinaK
Let me start this review by saying I've always been a huge fan of Briogeo hair products. The quality, performance, ingredients, and results are superior to most.. and their new Rice Water Strengthening Treatment is no exception. I can honestly tell you that, after just one use, I could visibly see & feel a significant improvement in my hair. I felt like I had just been to the salon and gotten some fancy treatment, and I achieved those results from the comfort of my own home. I have massive breakage, flyaways, and split ends from years & years of hair coloring and chemical treatments, and after incorporating this product into my hair wash routine I immediately noticed that all of these things I so regularly notice such as split ends and breakage were basically gone. My hair is so brittle and is very prone to breakage, and at age 35, it's important to me that I keep my hair as healthy as possible.. and I feel that this product is a true Godsend when it comes to helping me do that. Reviews on here were a little mixed, but I took the leap. I did a quick wash on my hair and applied about 3 pumps of product to my hair to start. Even as I was combing it through I saw how my hair reacted. My curls/coils were defined. I added another 2 pumps of product, worked it in really good and covered with a plastic cap for about 5 hours while I cleaned. Once I went to wash it I could feel how much softer my hair felt. I followed up with mask from the same line and wow. My hair was shiny, smooth and soft. I did a quick blow dry and was not disappointed at all. I typically don’t wash my hair myself but wanted to test this out I’ll be taking it to my hairdresser on wash weeks to implement into my routine. I had trouble with getting it to spray out. I then opened it up and realized the tube inside is so long it actually curls up the side of the bottle. Just snip it shorter with scissors an inch or so and it will spray out perfectly. It is a thick product and it set angles and smoothes. This is the second time I have bought this product and I loved how it smelled the first time. I had this bottle from February to May and had no issue. I bought another bottle in May, and in September it began to smell foul. The color went from a light pink to a light brown. I threw it away with about a quarter left. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I live in a humid climate and it’s so hard to find a hair product for me that doesn’t make my hair even more oily, doesn’t weigh it down, or help with my frizz. This review is for the rice water bars, and I never really write reviews because, honestly, most products I try aren't that great. I have long pink hair which has been bleached and colored for several years. Since my hair is so damaged and long I've tried every single insta, fb, social media product that promises to fix my hair and I have FINALLY found it!!! I was extremely skeptical about this. I was expecting this to be average at best. Imagine my surprise when I rinsed my hair and it felt like silk. I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a one-off, but then I used the shampoo and conditioner bars again and the same thing. My hair has been transformed – It's magical! It's soft, so so soft! It's healthy and shiny and not weighed down by too many products. I use the shampoo and conditioner bars and then a light leave-in conditioner – it's perfection. I love this conditioner. I’m mixed & have curly hair that’s finicky but this conditioner works wonders. I just wish it didn’t break apart so quickly! I have all these little broken off pieces that I then have to try & smash up into a paste in the shower which is annoying, particularly because I have health issues which make that difficult (dexterity wise & because I’m not supposed to shower longer than 5 minutes.) And I’m not keeping the bar in the shower so it’s not getting wet or anything, it just disintegrates quickly. I struggle with conditioners. I have very long hair (to my tailbone), and it’s very fine and fragile but easily weighed down. I also have very sensitive skin, and most conditioners will give me horrible body acne. I am especially sensitive to coconut oil, which seems to be in 90% of conditioners these days. For frame of reference- I am 24, I have long blonde hair that gets colored once every six months and I have tried just about every hair growth/nourishing product out there bc I have struggles with excessive hair loss and just dry/damaged hair. I used it as a primer with no other product, and my hair looked amazing all day, out in the sun during the current heat wave in Connecticut. White girl with every kind of hair possible on her head all of which is prone to splitting and breaking! From a distance it's brown and mostly wavy/straight, up close… it's everything, every texture, every thickness, every colour. Got this to try to help with damaged ends and it does seem to help do some repair! It smells lovely, isn't greasy, oily, waxy, sticky, etc. Just a serum that you put in. I do it as an overnight mask and try to examine a day or so later after a normal wash and condition. My hair seems healthier when I use it once a week, and I see less split ends. I only wish it was easier to get more out at a time, it's a longer process than it needs to be with that dropper. Pricey, but worth it imo.Kat
This is meant for your ends, but I have been using a few tiny drops on my scalp and it has stopped my hair from shedding. It doesn't make my scalp feel dry or greasy or anything. Literally feels like i applied a bit of water. Not sure why I applied it to my scalp but it has been working for me. I read about this treatment in a blog and each user gave great reviews. I then read the reviews on this site and decided to give it a try. I was having serious hair shedding problems and after having three inches cut off; I was still having issues. I tried the treatment and yes immediately my problem was resolved. I washed, detailed and applied product and way less hairs were coming out. After a week of using, result is still less shedding and my hair is fuller, healthier. Had I found this treatment a month before, I would maybe have two inches more of hair on my head. I like the slip and the smell but more importantly less shedding from my new BFF.
