I've been using this for almost a month now to help with oily hair. Maybe I'm impatient but my hair still gets oily and sometimes feels weighed down. However I will say that it has eliminated a lot of dandruff. My scalp isn't as itchy and the dandruff I do get is most likely when I decide to shampoo. I'm going to purchase again to see if maybe I just need to be more patient with how long it takes for the scalp to balance out considering I was a shampoo everyday person. I was using the rinse almost everyday before shampooing but now I will be getting the ACV Shampoo to see if it'll help and to try and find the best regimen to eliminate the oily hair and get my scalp healthy. When I first got it, I wasn't sure how to use it or what was it for. But now that I used it for two times I have some thoughts on it. I use this product as a shampoo and it works so well for that! It cleans my hair without making it feel stripped. It also gives a nice volume to my hair. If you don't like how vinegar smells you might not like this product because it has a strong vinegar smell but once you wash your hair, the smell dissipates quickly. Also, because it doesn't lather, it is hard to know how much are you supposed to use. I feel like I used way too much but it is hard to tell since you don't really know due to non lathering texture. Also the shampoo I was using prior to this product was giving me white flakes on my scalp and once I switched to this, the white flakes disappeared so I was really happy about that! I'm not one to write a review, I've maybe written one or two in my 37 years and hundreds of items bought online. So, with that said, OMG, I love this stuff!! I have very dark, pretty much black, hair. I've been greying for quite some time and I feel like it would probably be 30% if I let it grow out. My hair is to the small of my back and pretty thick. With that being said, I'm lazy and absolutely hate coloring my hair. I've used mascara, spray touch-up, cream touch-up, eye shadow, you name it. My growth right now is probably about 1/4-1/2 inch at roots but I'm trying to time my dye job with a trip I'm taking in 3 weeks (I should have timed my laziness better). I was out of spray so I looked at walmart for some and happened upon this. I just climbed out of the shower, washed my hair and applied like you ladies in the reviews said, except I didn't want to make a mess everywhere like I read is very probable so I had this genius idea!! I grabbed my root coloring bottle with my root tip on it to see if it would fit the bottle and it did! Worked perfectly with absolutely no mess!! I still wore gloves though, and even when I blow dried-I didn't want to mess up my nails. Anywho, I am floored at the results. It doesn't cover 100%, not even 90%, it covered the most of it and took that "silver shine" out from under my black hairs. Definitely makes it all blend better and look like I'm just getting random greys rather than a bunch of greys growing out from a 2 month old due job! I have been buying this hair color for years. Yes. It is very temporary and it is a little bit red. I had naturally dark red hair and I used to use copper penny, but that was discontinued quite a few years ago. Unfortunately. This is about as close as I could get to cover Auburn hair without using A Dye that contains peroxide or ammonia. Unfortunately Walmart has doubled the price of this since I bought it last. I believe the 9 oz bottle is being discontinued because when I went to Sally Beauty, they only had a 15 ounce bottle, but it is around 7.50. I don't know. I have normal Asian hair. I found that after using the matching shampoo and this conditioner for about two weeks to a month, my hair felt super dry and crunchy. As soon as I changed to a different brand my hair felt better. I am usually sensitive to fragrance but this product didn't make me sneeze. I would describe awapuhi as a funky ginger scent. This conditioner smells great, but it's really for people who have straight hair or hair that doesn't need a lot of conditioner. The consistency is runnier, so I need a lot to coat my hair. I can see myself using this conditioner if my hair wasn't permed and was in its naturally super straight (can't hold any style) form. For me to get my hair smooth, I had to condition twice, leaving it in for 5 minutes each time. The first time penetrated some, so my hair was still not smooth, but with the second round of conditioning, this got the rest and my hair feels healthy. In the end, if you have straight hair that doesn't tangle easily, this is probably a great conditioner for you, but if you have hair that tangles easily, is treated, or has texture, this is definitely not for you (as it's not for me).Mizu

I used this for the first time this week. I really like the shade. The trick to getting a good application is to make sure you shampoo your hair before application so it’s damp and why residue/build up is gone, which can make the color not adhere to your hair. Remember, semi-permanent coats the surface of your hair, not the cuticle, so you want it as clean as possible. Using it on dry hair will give you a tint, but probably not the bright effect you were hoping for. Liked it so much, I got a few more shades of red and brown to try out.shannon.g
this stuff is AMAZING!! So I have been on the grey silver hair trend (well trying to get there at least) lol and the stuff is a lifesaver! I couldn't get the darn brass out of my hair and it was driving me crazy! tried almost everything! My last option was toning but after all the bleaching I didn't want to use chemicals… this saved my life and turned my pale yellow to a beautiful silver after one wash with a little bit in my shampoo! then I shadow tried with it full strength! no brass slightly profile like I wanted (only in the sun and thats because I left it on as little longer to achieve the purple silver look). I also used it on my son because w bleached his mohawk twice but was still orange like really orange! one freaking wash with a purple shampoo I made with this (a little stronger than the one I made for my hair since his was so orange) and we got a beautiful silver!! I'm 1 wash!! no more expensive purple shampoo for me baby! I got one bottle and have made 3 batches of purple shampoo, shadow ripped my hair fill strength 4 times and still have over half a bottle left! This bottle will last you a good while if you mix with water. It will still do the job and look bright and shiny. I used this to colour the blonde as my regrowth came through and trust me it looks better then having half blonde half black hair. Mixed this with the sapphire and got a beautiful blue. I am in love with Roux Fanci-full Temporary Hair Color Rinse in Frivolous Fawn as it's a lifesaver in-between trips to the salon. Roux addresses my outgrow when I've got extended time separating my salon visits and allows me to successfully blend my outgrow without lines separating my hair color and what's been treated with Roux and doesn't alter my gator color nor cause any damage. It's super easy to apply and the only con I've experienced after multiple applications is that it can be a little messy as it's pure liquid. I personally think this dye is great, but I can think of another brand that has more staying power and is cheaper, so for that reason I can only give this 4 stars. The tone of this pink is unique to pinks I have bought previously and I think that's great when wanting some dimension! The texture is hard to describe but not its really creamy or gel like. And I think it smells like peppercorn, which doesn't bother me. I find a tube of this goes a really long way too, which is fantastic! The staying power is pretty average for your vivid pinks. I recently tried this product for the first time and I think it’s now one of my favorites! I’ve gotten TONS of compliments since I used Blue Ruin and I’ve used them all, over the years. Warning: stuff is Pravana Vivids level of stainage. RIP to a couple of ratty old towels, lol. My hair is between a level 2-3 with grays and I bleach and then highlight it to level 7-8. Pro tip is that I mix this product with a little conditioner and Olaplex 3 and then leave it in my hair for 2 hours. It really saves it from being fried. I tried to manage my expectations a little with this product, as it’s recommended for light blonde or pre-lightened hair but mine was a balayage with dark blonde/light brown. Turns out it defied my expectations and still came out as a super vibrant red! My hair is chest length and the tube had just about enough to cover nearly my whole head (my roots are dark so I avoided those) with a small amount of conditioner mixed in to stretch it a bit further. I’m now on wash 3 or 4 and I’m surprised by how much colour is still in my hair! The vibrancy has been toned down but it’s definitely still red and I expect it will be for a while yet.Nicole

This has got to be my most repurchased product! ✨ I really love the 8 second wonder water ❤️ It makes my hair feel so soft, smooth and manageable. I apply it after I have shampooed and rinsed my hair. I squirt it onto the lengths of my hair (not onto my scalp) and, as I massage it in, I can feel the wonder water heating up in my hands. I leave it on for the recommended ‘8 seconds’ and then rinse it out. And 8 seconds is really all it needs!! As I rinse, I can run my fingers through my hair so easily!! It is such a good detangler!! I then condition like normal afterwards. I only use this once a week (I usually wash 3 times a week) and I truly believe that this product has made it possible for me to go longer between hairdressing visits! When it comes to hair treatments, I usually stick with the pricier brands like Olaplex and Biolage…but I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about this stuff was curious, plus I had a promo code so it was only like $2. When I was in the shower and massaging this product into the lengths of my hair, it felt different from other products I’ve used. My hair felt slick smooth, but it was also sort of sudsing up like a shampoo. I have somewhat long hair so it took me a bit longer to cover it all (and about 2x as much product as recommended) so the product was in my hair a bit longer than 8 seconds. Even after rinsing, my hair still felt smooth-and they say conditioner is optional, so I used a small amount. I really did not expect to get ANY sort of results at all, but there is a noticeable difference in my hair. It’s very smooth, silky, less frizzy when letting it air dry, and I’m seeing less fly-aways. It smells really nice, too! The box says that blowdrying your hair afterwards will give you the best results, which I plan to try next time I use it. This stuff to the magic ! Just be sure to not apply on your scalp ! As it might be very irritating on your head skin. Apply to the hair avoiding roots too. I have bleached hair and this water made them soft and silky. All you need to do is to fallow the instructions and do not leave it on your hair for too long because it has alcohol denat and myristyl alcohol also isopropyl alcohol and this all ingredients can make your hair really dry ! Rinse properly after 8 seconds and all will be fine. It has a very noticeable smell which is not my favorite. The product is the consistency of water. Repaired about as much damage as I think it is possible remembering that your hair is already dead cells and to an extent a lost cause after a certain amount of damage. My hair is usually in very good condition I'm very careful with it and just started dying it a couple of years ago and I use mainly vegan one part conditioning dye after doing the roots with L'Oreal's permanent dye every few months. My hair was in great condition until I had to do some really aggressive treatments because of a mite scare at my kids school. literally destroyed the front of my hair which is where I process it the most. Had to cut off 6 in and still looked crazy like literally standing on end unbrushable dry just a mess. So the combination of this, the elvive damage repair shampoo and conditioner, ogx argon and coconut oils and literally probably gallons of natural coconut oil and castor oil brought it back to manageable combable and styleable after cutting off 6-8in and leaving about the same. For someone on a budget this is as good as you're going to get, I really thought my hair was past saving at all and I normally have very nice hair that I get complimented on everyday. This brought back some compliments surprisingly and I actually feel like I can leave the house without having my hair up again. That being said there are probably some way more expensive products and salon treatments that may be more effective, but they can't be faster or more wallet friendly, that's impossible. I was so excited to get this product and hopefully transform my damaged, fine, frizzy hair. I washed and then applied it in the shower. It smelled nice and there was a warming sensation I felt within a few seconds. I left it in about 15 seconds before rinsing, and was amazed how soft my hair felt. The next day, my hair was pretty oily and weighed down, so I had to wash sooner than usual, but it was smooth and healthy looking. I'm not saying it was definitely this product, but after 2 uses, I began losing some hair at the roots! I went through some reviews online and I was definitely not alone in this. I stopped using it immediately and continued to lose a bit of hair, but it has since slowed down. Definitely will not be taking my chances with this again.

When it does wash out, it has a green hue to it. I would stay far away from this product. There's other a lot more moisturizing and healthy products to deposit color into your hair. Smells amazing and is easy to apply. Unfortunately that's where the good in my review ends. I bought the Magic Salem and pastel Iris colors and honestly? I wasn't impressed. They don't last (pastel Iris has only lasted one wash, Magic Salem – which was quoted to last 3 weeks – only lasted 3.) Not to mention, Magic Salem is their purple, but it came out blue rather than purple. And to make matters worse, the dyes faded super poorly? It looked awful.

I love Lunar Tides. The salon I go to for my highlights use this product. I also purchase this as a consumer for at home use in between salon visits. The dyes are super vibrant. A big plus is that Lunar Tides are vegan and cruelty free. I like mixing colors to make different shades. These are semi-permanent so they will wash out. I recommend washing your hair with cold water and use Watercolor Shampoo for whatever color your hair is. I bought 4 dyes from Lunar Tides: Juniper Green, Aurora Green, Pastel Iris, and their toner. the toner worked great, I loved it! however the dyes are absolutely terrible. I read so many reviews before buying from them and the only “bad” thing I could find was that it was runny and messy. the hair dye I received is almost a gel consistency, not runny at all. my hair was platinum blonde before I dyed it with juniper green. it is very dark in the container, but bright green on the hair; this was my first red flag. I kept hoping it would be darker when I washed it out but obviously it was lighter. my hair was joker green. I figured this was my fault for toning my hair and thought maybe that could be the issue. however, I also dyed part of my hair with the Pastel Iris. in the container, it looks like a darker purple (the shade you think of when I say purple) so I assumed it would be darker than I expected; it was not. it went on the hair very light, looked very similar to the toner. after I rinsed it out (with cold water as you should) the color was BARELY there. it looked like I left toner on for a little too long. again, I figured this was my fault for ordering a pastel dye. HOWEVER, I just washed my hair for the first time since dying it (it has been exactly ONE week) and the color is completely gone. the part that was dyed purple has absolutely no color in it. this was after ONE WASH. there is absolutely no reason for my hair to be blonde right now. I have been using a tshirt towel, Percy and Reed no oil hair oil, The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum, and 70% cold hairdryer method for about 2-months in order to build up my hair volume and density. First of all if you need shampoo you need this product. It is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G -My hair: thin, straight as an arrow, dry. I live in the AZ desert most the time, the water is terrible, the UV rays bad, the humidity is basically 0% – I have color treated long straight hair. If I didn't find this product I am unsure I would have as thick of hair, definitely not as long of hair. This extends the time between washes A LOT, it has a luxurious smell like NO OTHER dry shampoos in the world, and I have tried everything. The texture of this is SO light and so FRESH. You do feel like you get a wash in by using this – it doesn't add a sheen that some dry shampoos do that make it look oily. This helps give my hair volume as well, which I need. I wish this was cheaper I really do, but its a MUST have for me. I actually order the light tone even though my base is a darker brunette, I tried the brunette tone but I didn't like it as much, it seemed too flat of a tone for my hair, this one does look at little powdery at first in the lighter tone for my hair color but it absorbs quickly and blends in better than the other tone for me.holly.g
I have blonde fine hair. This dry shampoo is the absolute BEST thing ive ever used. I apply it the day after i was my hair and for the next 2-3 days (i wash my hair like twice a week) i dont have to re-touch it at all. It doesnt make my hair feel dirty, it doesnt cake up my hair and sit ontop of my hair, and I RARELY ever have to reapply it every day up until my wash. Ive tried so many dry shampoos from the drugstore and high end as well (amika, living proof, dry bar) and those suck compared to this one. When I had this dry shampoo I took it for granted. I assumed all dry shampoos were this good of quality. However after switching to the IGK, I realized that other dry shampoos such as the IGK leave white flake-like residue that looks like dandruff! That’s a nightmare, especially if you have dark hair! The Moroccan oil dry shampoo is amazing. Number 1- it does what it advertises; makes hair look incredibly clean. Number 2- no terrible white dust in your hair.
