I always use method for wooden floors and the smell does last. Thought I'd give this a go because I love the smell of lemon. Its brought up all the floors (wooden, lino and tiles) lovely but I can't smell it even though my father reckons he can. Like all method products it does what it says. It streaks and leaves a sticky film and the With the new and improved formula, the floor is no longer shiny. It is now dull and shows prints. The old stuff worked great! With the new and improved formula you are to use a damp mop which gets the floor too wet no matter how much you wring out the Bona microfiber mop, plus it still leaves the floor dull, streaked and sticky. When the professional floor cleaning company came out to clean them, he showed me a crazy amount of film he had to work to get up. This is the only cleaner I use. What should have only taken the company a couple hours now will take the entire day. And I have to spend extra money to have the film removed. I've tried many cleansers to mop my house full of tile. (Borox, castille soap, washing soda, dawn dish soap, etc.) They all have their pros & cons. For this cleanser, the pros: 1. Great fragrance. I don't detect it at all during/after use. Just smells clean. 2. You don't need much. 3. It really does clean well! I was surprised at how much dirt it got up when my floor didn't even seem dirty. 4. You can add it straight to the floor or add it to water first, or works both ways. 5. Very inexpensive. The only con: It makes the floor a bit sticky. Walking on it with house shoes made a sound. I have to go over it with a damp rag in order for it to be quiet again. So, I don't agree with not having to wash it off for that reason alone- yet I don't bother washing it off of the places I don't typically walk on through the day! Smells amazing! Stains do come out pretty well, and I like how easy it is to squirt and wipe. A little bit goes a long way, and it really does make removing stains a lot easier! I like the convenience of simply squirting a little on a surface and wiping, rather than having to dilute it in water. However, it do not leave any scent after cleaning(perhaps due to its natural ingredients and the amount that I used isn’t that much). I’ve used Bona on my laminate & ceramic tile for 15 + years & was always happy with the look & feel of the floors after cleaning, but not any more! I bought theBona hard surface antibacterial formula & it leaves my floors sticky, streaky, & dull! I have read the directions several times, tried using less product& rinsed out the microfiber cleaning pad constantly. I gave this product lots of opportunity to shine, but it doesn’t work! have to rinse the floors with plain water to get the residue off. So I ask myself “why am I still using this product?” No more! I do not recommend the antibacterial formula! Now I need to research how to get this product off my floors & start over! I bought the96 oz bottle with a spray bottle, that never worked! The Bona brand floor cleaner has been a standard in our house since we got the wood floors put it a few years back. It was recommended by the installer so that was an easy buy. Well, now that they came out with the Bona PowerPlus Antibacterial Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner, I jumped at the chance to use this. The main reason is that it's antibacterial and that's a must have with 4 kids and a cat. The house is a mish mosh of different floors and being able to use one cleaner for all of them is a winner. It's easy to use, either a straight stream or spray on the floor. The only negative is they recommend you wait 10 minutes for the antibacterial solution to do it's job before moping it up. I can wait, there's always something to do . After moping the floors, I just toss the microfiber mop pad in the washer and it's clean and ready for the next use. It kills 99.9 % of germs, that's a lot and it is good for this Corona virus we're dealing with now. Wish I could find a Bona all purpose cleaner, I'd buy stock in the company. This brand is really good, cleans without scrubbing and I feel good knowing that the surface our feet are on is sanitized. You can buy a large bottle and refill the sprayer, great money saver..trlmrc

I figured I would try this because I liked the regular Bona pretty well. We have pets and I thought this formula might keep the floors cleaner. It does an ok job of cleaning, but your house will smell like a hospital for hours afterward. Even after opening the windows, my daughter was complaining about the smell. I have been using it for about two months and noticed some sticky build-up on my vinyl floors. Turns out it is from the disinfectant used in the formula. I have a century old hardwood floor through my kitchen and hallway to the dining room. It is beautiful, but the kitchen has 5 doors – meaning it's the route to everywhere in the house as well as to the back yard. So even more than most kitchens, it's the most used (and most extremely dirtied) floor in the house! I bought the CrossWave to help me out, and it is a miracle to use. But after using up the sample Bissell wood floor formula that came with it, I thought I'd just use my old floor cleaner fluid instead. I was surprised to find out that, although the CrossWave continued to do an excellent job cleaning the floor, the wood floor formula by Bissell really made the wood glow in a way that my trusted old wood cleaning fluid doesn't. I tried others, but just wasn't as happy as I'd been with the Bissell sample. Annoying, because I'd prefer just to pick some cleaning fluid up when I need it, but I can't find it in stores. I confirmed when I received the case that Bissel's wood floor formula streaks less, and glows more. I really love this cleaner, I got the lemon scent and it smells really great. I love that it doesn’t smell of chemicals. We have an elderly dog that sometimes has accidents on our wood floors (misses pee pads) and this cleaner is great at mopping that up. Unfortunately for the price I think the bottle is just too small. I use it nearly every day on my floors and this little bottle is not going to last a month. When I can buy a large bottle of vinegar for a few dollars I’m not sure I can justify spending $12 on something so small. If the bottle was larger or the price was cheaper I’d be buying this all the time. Plus the way my husband pours in cleaner, I nearly had a heart attack. I have light pine colored laminate flooring and everything I have used in the past has left a sticky residue or a streaky finish. This product did NOT leave a residue and left a shiny, clean (non-streaked) finish! I am so pleased! I had read some of the negative reviews about smell and am happy to report the only smell I could detect was fresh and clean (I bought the lemon kind!). I diluted 1 oz in 1 gallon of warm water and it made a wonderfully pleasing sudsy bucket of cleaner that dried quickly and to a perfect finish. It also worked beautifully on glazed ceramic bathroom tile floor and left it so shiny, I thought the floor was still wet after it was dry. This pet kit came with microfiber sweeping and mopping heads as well as a moping solution that doubles as a spot cleaner. I was really pleased with the hair, dust, and dirt trapping abilities of the sweeper head. The mop head was nice as well with its cleaning capabilities. I didn’t love the mopping solution/cleaner as it has a very strong smell to it. We try be very selective about what cleaners we allow in our home and after using the spray, we’ll be sticking to thieves spray. Purchased Nov. 2021 – Still evaluating but not totally convinced it will last long term (ie. more than 2 yr). Already returned original unit 3 weeks ago, after it lost communication. Returned was requested by IRobot representative after he was not able to ‘reset’ it remotely. We use the IRobot 3x per week, and it does so well on a automatic routine … I’m afraid that all it does, is push dirt into the grout lines – wife loves it !!! Very disappointed in this Bona cleaning solution, leaves sticky residue on floors. Also product causes my Braava M6 mops, to blow bubbles when tank is low. Mop will continue to run, blowing bubbles, not spraying floor, but will not return to base to tell you to fill tank. Also when I remove tank to refill, the filter basket below tank is also full of bubbles. I am very concerned this product will cause the spray lines and spray nossle to become clogged. I bought 2 cases of this solution not realizing it was not similar solution to old cleaning solution. I wish I had taken a picture of both mops with bubbles running down front of mop, spray was unable to spray only blowing bubbles when tank low. I washed out both tanks, and refilled tanks with old solution, which I luckily have a few bottles left. IRobot Please bring back the old cleaning solution ASAP. Thank you!

The first problem is, the bottle is huge and it takes up way to much space under the cabinet especially if you purchase a second one to stock up. Second, you are paying for mostly water. If you do the cost analysis compare to the product it replaced you would see its not a goos deal. Third, it is a real pain to fill the tank because the product foams up as you fill the tank. You have to wait for the suds to subside before you cam continue filling the tank.Last, filling the tiny tack with a bottle as large as this one makes it easy to spill and expensive product like this one.David

We purchased an older house that has laminate floors. They had cats and used some type of wax product, the floors were awful. We tried everything, at first we weren't, sure what was on them but it was thick,dirty and needed help. I decided to order Trewax wax remover. Although we still had to get on our hands and knees to get the wax up and rinse the floors overall it was easy. I used a garden sprayer with a 50/50 mix and sprayed a small section, waited a few minutes then used a scrubber on a pole and watched it disolve! The floors look like new. I was very excited to see this is a plant based product. No artificial dyes or weird stuff is awesome! I love that the product is making a positive initiative. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the product. If it didn't mention getting out tough spots I might have given it one more star. I noticed no real difference. I tried it over and over again on my white kitchen laminate. It was very easy to use just not that effective. I hope they tweak and experiment with the formula to enhance it. It's going the right direction, but needs improvements.AshMum

My dogs are always running around our beautiful hardwood floors, getting dirty paw prints everywhere! It is so nice to find a great wood cleaner that doesn't take off the stain color, but gets rid of any sign of dirt. This cleaner picks up everything and will leave you in shock at how dirty the floors really were! It's great for spot treatment, or for larger mopping areas. Leaves my floors shinier than when we first got them. I would like to use it in one of the mopping products that you can insert this bottle into as a cleaner/wet jet. That would be some efficient cleaning! I recommend this product to anyone!Julia

I found this plant based cleaner Rejuvenate, that is billed as removing stubborn dirt and grime from stone, tile, and laminate floors. I like the idea of it being plant based and safe to use around animals, rather then using chemical cleaners. However the product just didn't deliver on my laminate floor. It did clean a good bit of dirt, my dogs so lovingly add to the floor, but barely cleaned dried on spot with out a lot of scrubbing. After going over the floor two times with Rejuvenate, I didn't see any difference to the area I took my steam mop over . Rather than the bright surface claim, my laminate had a cloudy appearance that hasn't changed since I used the product. I wouldn't recommend it for laminate. I also cleaned my stone tile back splash and saw no difference there either. The bottle doesn't give an ingredient list, so there's no way of knowing what's actually in the bottle or the percentage of ingredients.jc17771

I have tile floors only in a few rooms of my house and used to use a steam mop to clean them. The hassle of steam mopping meant that I didn’t get around to cleaning them as often as I should, so I decided to go back to basics and try a spin mop with this Method cleaner and I’ve been really happy with the results. Two of the rooms are visible from a staircase – meaning I can get a great eye-level view of any scum on the ground as I go up and down the stairs. Since using this Method cleaner I’ve noticed a marked difference in the cleanliness of the floors. It obviously helps that I’m actually mopping, but it really cleans any spills very well. In a bathroom that often had marks from lotion and hair products that the steam mop couldn’t touch I now see shining floors every day! It also smells very, very good. The scent isn’t overwhelming and doesn’t stick around too much, but you get that nice feeling of clean satisfaction when you’re done mopping.Jupiter99

Although I'm still not crazy about some of Method's ingredient choices, I really love how well this product works and how time-saving it is compared to other methods. I typically use water, vinegar and some essential oils on our faux wood plank vinyl and stone tile, and occasionally some dish soap for rougher days, along with a Rubbermaid Reveal Mop several times a week. Once a month, I do the same, only with our Mopnado for a deeper cleaning. However, I feel that this product gets or floors just a touch cleaner than homemade, or even many conventional, floor cleaners. I occasionally use this as directed (squirting directly) when the floor needs a lot of help, typically when our Instant Pot (a.k.a Magic Cauldron) spews whatever deliciousness it holds while quick releasing, but I find that directly squirting can sometimes leave a slight residue. Otherwise, I usually prefer to dilute this in the Rubbermaid Reveal mop bottle, using about a 1/4 cup or less and filling the rest with warm water to spray as I mop, which works great, doesn't leave residue, and it stretches out the product more while diluting some of the ingredients I'm not too keen on. Best of all, I love the Lemon Ginger scent, which I was worried about since Method's almond-scented products are way too overpowering for me. I plan to try Spearimint Sage as well. Between the fresh yet light lemon scent that's not at all like Pinesol, and the effectiveness and ease-of-use of the product, it's enough that I feel more motivated to mop more regularly. LOVE this hard floor cleaner! My favorite scent is the Ginger Yuzu, I can see why they're often sold out of this scent. I had to try it after reading all the reviews and one woman wrote "she loves the scent of Ginger Yuzu so much, she finds herself wanting to mop the floors more often" and I thought, I could use some of that motivation! So happy I tried it, it's definitely my go to floor cleaner. Just squirt and mop!! I have dark, laminate flooring and other cleaners leave behind mop marks and residue but not this cleaner, it simply leaves behind a nice, clean, matte finish just the way I like it!
