1. Bell Air Attack 650 High Volume Bicycle Pump

Product Details:
Bells air attack series floor pumps are specifically designed to inflate tyres fast. their high-volume, wide-barrel design pushes more air with each stroke to quickly inflate the wider tyres found on most cruiser, mountain, bmx and kids bikes. bells air glide series floor pumps are designed for inflation of all types of bike tyres. their tall, thin-barrel design offers less resistance, making it easy to inflate cruiser, mountain, bmx and kids wide tyres as well as the thinner, high-pressure tyres found on road and commuter bikes. bicycle pumps inflate bicycle tyres, but theyre also used for all kinds of other inflation jobs like pumping up sports balls, toys and rafts. thats why most bell pumps include a bonus ball needle and inflation cone that store conveniently right on the hose. most bikes use schrader valves, the same short, sturdy valve used on car tyres. presta valves are typically found on road and high end mountain bike tyres that require high air pressure. dont know what kind you have. dont worry nearly all bell pumps can accommodate both! proper tyre pressure lets your bike roll quickly, ride smoothly and fend off flats. bell offers a variety of foot, frame and floor pumps with accurate, easy-read gauges that take the guess work out inflating your tyres to the correct pressure. certain bell floor pumps feature our exclusive, soft touch handles which are co-moulded with a soft, easy grip texture for comfort.

Just picked one up from my local store. Have only used it once. It worked just fine on my mountain bike at 50psi. Had to make sure the fitting was all the way down on the valve stem before clamping down the quick release so that it did not leak air, same as any other pump. Tires were almost flat. Took about 15 pumps to fully inflate tires. The guage is not the best but it works. Great pump for the money. Will update this review if I have problems moving forward.GoDogGo
Until the manufacturer or Walmart sends me instructions on how to work this thing, I'm not rating it beyond one star. Seriously, how foolish to send something with no instructions. I'm not stupid, just a 60 year old woman, single, and need to inflate the tires in a cruiser bike. Thanks for this Bell Sports! Thanks to Walmart for throwing this in a box with two cans of aerosol with no protection. Everything is dented.BeachCat

Reviews:
First of all, the plastic collar near the base was loose upon purchase so all the air would escape from the bottom of the collumn. After fixing this, the pump still won't inflate my road bike tubes over 90 psi. Either a defective unit or poor product advertising. I'll be taking this back.Rich86
I tried pumping my hybrid bike to 70 psi. The gage would show 60 psi even after 5 full pumps. Then the reading would jump to 70 psi on the 6th pump. I also needed to use most of my body weight to pump it. I played around with the depth that I locked the head onto the spout to ensure it was connected correctly. Save your time and find a pump with better reviews.Jeremy
First time I used this pump I pumped it to 80 psi. It took a while, but it worked. Three days later I tried to use it and about every three pumps back pressure bleed back into the pump with enough force to lift me off of the ground. After several minutes of pumping I had exactly the same pressure that I started with. Not impressed with either of the Bell pumps I own.James

Reviews:
I got this pump because my frame-mount road pump didn't do it for my high-volume 2.4 and 2.6 inch 29er tires. This one is great because the thread-on chuck attaches to the valve securely (others with the snap-back style lock always seem like they are going to snap the valve stem off…) and the hose is a good enough length to not have to worry about where the valve sits while pumping. The foot peg also does a good job, though it's a bit small – definitely better than nothing! This is such a well-designed & thought out tool.koni
It's a good pump, but threading the valve fitting is clumsy given it does not spin freely on the tube. It twists the tube and rebounds (lots of friction in the connection). It's good overall despite being frustrating to thread/unthread. The gauge is pretty worthless. Despite the pump being rated for 90psi, the gauge reads to 120psi and there is very little resolution in the 20 to 40 psi range (see pics). In fact, It's not clear where on the red plunger indicates the pressure and the manufacturer provides no clear direction or instructions. Additionally, as the pressure increases the gauge does not smoothly change, rather it jumps. Really disappointed i paid for a useless gauge and now have to haul it around. This pump is ok if you get the non gauge model or maybe the digital gauge. Could not believe how poorly the gauge is designed. I would not buy again.Matt
I loved the look and build quality of this pump, but the threaded attachment to the valve stem is problematic for tubeless setups. When threading the hose onto the valve stem, it?s possible to actually begin turning the valve stem ? this can actually unscrew the valve stem nut and let all the air out of valve stem hole. I don?t think this would be a problem for tubes, but I didn?t try it myself. I ended up returning it and going with a pump with a levered stem coupler.Austin
4. Sks Rennkompressor Floor Pump – Orange

Product Details:
For close to 40 years, the rennkompressor has been the most popular pump in international cycling and the sole legitimate ancestor of all floor pumps. the latest version proudly wears the authentic orange finish of the original. the rennkompressor comes with a variety of heads that guarantees the perfect connection for dunlop, presta and schrader valves.
Specifications:
Weight | 7 lb |
Reviews:
I like the pump's following features: * Rugged and precise construction * Still easy to pump at high pressure * Accurate gauge with a Jaco chuck * Portable, small footprint The chuck that came with the pump was a big, clumsy, two-hole clamp. Clamps often leak. Fortunately, it is removable. I replaced it with a Jaco chuck on a swivel mount. The Jaco chuck quick connects and screws tight to seal completely. This allows the gauge to read accurately. The Jaco quick disconnects with almost no air leakage. Above 100 psi, the hose leaked at the base connection. It was loose. I unscrewed it; wrapped the threads with dope tape; and cinched it on tight. That fixed the problem. This is the best floor pump I ever owned. I bought two to give one to my brother.5qr*b3j7q-k6e3rt
This pump is incredibly well built and will pump your tires well over 200 psi! It takes a lot of pumping to get them there but does so nonetheless. I first thought of this "lot of pumping" as disadvantageous until I looked further. Because of the small approximations of air, you can be precise in your pressure. In CX and track this becomes much more meaningful. I sometimes go from 19 psi to 21 psi and with other pumps that's a tricky affair. That's why this pump is my favorite.nech9029
4 stars, not 5 stars. It works pretty well. Push the adaptor onto the presta valve and start pumping. I give it 4 stars, because 1 out of 4 times it will leak air when you start pumping. So you fiddle with it and it stops leaking and you fill your tire. The reason it does this is because it doesn't always go on perfectly straight. Get it on straight and you can pump your tires to 130 psi no problem. If you don't get it on straight, HISSSSS, adjust it, pump and 130 psi no problem. My old adapter worked perfectly for 15-20 years until the rubber seal wore out.mainmast

Reviews:
I’ve had a Road Morph pump for the last 7 years or so, and overal really like the design. The connection with a Presta valve is secure, the pump inflates tubes to high pressure very quickly, and the bracket holding the pump to the bike’s frame does a nice job of keeping the pump from rattling around or sliding. The pressure gauge is pretty difficult to read however and the handle on my pump has snapped off after very little use, although you can kind of wedge it onto the end of the shaft and still inflate a tire. Still, dependability is really the most important feature of any frame pump, so I’ll give the Rosd Morph the benefit of the doubt as it has come through for me numerous times while commuting. I would recommend this product and will be buying another RM pump to replace the one with the broken handle.LA Biker
Bought this mini track pump because of issues with valve to rim sealing with my tubeless set up. I found that using a mini pump put stress on the valve due to "waggling" that caused it to leak. This pump gets rid of that problem and the bonus is that it inflates with much less effort than a mini. A lot less effort. The downside? So far the only one is that it's a bit too long for a back pocket so either one for the Rucksack or use the frame mounting kit. They do a smaller version that might fit though. Check it out but I can't vouch for that version. Free, painless click 'n' collect – the Halfords price was better than anything else on the internet too.Papa P
Ever been stuck on the side of the road with a flat? You could carry a few CO2 cartridges, which seem like a fast way to inflate the tire until … the first one wasn't seated right, the second seemed to work, but is the tire really inflated fully? The Topeak Road Morph is a great alternative. It is like a floor pump, but fits on your bike. It tells you the actual pressure on the built-in gauge. The ergonomics are very good, with a wide handle and foot rest so you will have plenty of energy after pumping up your tire. And it is not much heavier than a couple of cartridges and valves. I first used one when riding across the USA, when I got about 10 flats. Buying that many cartridges is about the cost of this one pump. Now I use it with my travel bike. When I assemble the bike in my hotel, I can quickly and accurately inflate the tires with this little pump.cbspear

Super tiny, well machined, travel pump. Got it to keep in the car and bring on trips; would recommend.Samuel
I bought this on a recommendation from a serious bike friend. He suggest a Lezyne pump "they are the best". I was skeptical but after using it it really is the best pump. Solid construction, smooth action, and the thread-on head takes all the worry of bending valves. Also I never have to hold it on keeping my hands free. The foot peg is cool tool making pumping a dream.Cheeseits
I have needed a small pump I could throw into my backpack for traveling with for a long time. This pump suits my fat bike tires perfectly and is light and easy to use. It's a little larger than I like to attach to the frame, but will fit in my frame bag in a pinch. An excellent pump!GODFREY
7. Rockshox High Pressure / High Volume Convertible Air Pump

Product Details:
A rockshox 2-in-1 pump to do your shocks and tyres with the single mechanism, the best way to save space in your riding kit. this pump has a schrader valve connection with a presta valve adapter included, covering all your needs.simply pump up your shocks to satisfaction then twist the lower end of the canister to unlock the extra capacity mechanism. then pump the extra capacity mechanism while holding the pump handle to quickly pump up your tyres. be careful watching the pressure while pumping your tyres as the 300 psi gauge isn?? t quite ideal for tyre pressures.if you're game for those finite weight savings you can also remove the gauge and still pump your tyres/shock by feel.
Specifications:
Reviews:
Great dual purpose pump. I like the mount that fits behind the bottle cage, keeps everything all tidy and out of the way. The removable gauge is also solidly built rather than being a gimmick. The longer hose also makes for less of a chance of breaking the fitting off from the pump.Ryan
This is a good shock pump and an ok tyre pump. The presta valve fitting is very awkward to use and not the best dual fitting valve head I have used. As a shock pump it is very big. If I had my time again I would have liked a smaller shock pump. It is handy to have a 2 in one. But I now just use this as a shock pump as it’s too much of a hassle to use on the smaller valves with the adapter.Luke J.

Reviews:
I should have payed closer attention to the circumference of the barrel of this pump. Compared to others it was close to double in circumference. That is a sure sign that the pump can push through a lot of air, which is great for the fatter tires that don't require the high pressures. For tires that typically are on road bicycles (23 mm to 28 mm) in width, this pump requires a lot of effort. Pushing through that amount of volume of air to get to 75 PSI and up requires one to lean in with their body weight, or unless you are very strong. My daughter could not handle it. Everything else about the pump is great, but unless you are able to put air in your tire it's pretty much useless.Nightingale
It works great but if you need to pump more then 45psi it gets extremely hard to pump it. My bike needs 50psi in the front tire and 60psiin the back tire. Im 220lbs and can barely push down the handle once i get almost 50lbs in the tire. I literally almost lift my feet off the ground pushing the handle down each pump.Josh E
I bought this product yesterday. It is absolute rubbish. It does not work on Presta valves. It does not grasp the valve, and air escapes; a very, very poorly made product. I suspect it was designed for Schrader valves, and they included Presta as an "enticement". Bad mistake. AVOID THIS PIECE OF JUNK! It is going back asap this week.PRODUCT IS JUNK

Reviews:
Let me explain. I have had a motorhome and now have a caravan. Both units required the tyres to be pumped up to 60 psi. I bought an electric pump that said it could pump up to 100psi. This it could not do, well not in a reasonable time scale, so tried a double barrel tyre pump, I could stand on it but not able to put air into the tyres. To cut a long story short after posting on websites for help I was recommended to use a “track pump” for cycles. I duly sourced one on the Halfords website purchased it and was delivered the next day. It performed excellently and did the job without complaint and gave me a good aerobic workout at the same time. I can well recommend this pump and indeed Halfords for supplying and delivering it. Thank you.Resteven
The product overall is well designed and well constructed. The price is good. It is designed to work with both Presta and Shrader valves. There is no help or user manual about how to use it with the two valve types, but it's pretty easy to figure out. My problem is that I hate Presta valves with the intensity of a thousand suns. I know how to use them, but still I run into problems with them at every turn. I wish they had never been invented. In the case of the JoeBlow pump, the Presta valves cannot be used as intended because the pump cannot be screwed into the valve. Rather, the pump hose has to be forced onto the valve and I have great trouble forcing the pump hose onto the valve. In the meantime, the tire loses all its air. The process only works if the bike and tire are on the ground and I'm able to exert great force on the pump hose. I can't add air, for example, if the bike is on the rack at the rear of my car. I would much rather have a pump hose that will screw into the Presta valve, and I would REALLY rather have Schrader valves instead of Presta valves. Schrader valves always "just work", and Presta valves are a major pain that create enormous frustrations.
My trusty old pump valve broke so I did a quick bit of research online and opted to buy this Topeak pump. I honestly thought there wasn't much difference between one pump to another but this pump is excellent. It is solidly built, looks like it will last forever. It blows up my bike tyres super quickly, probably 3 times quicker than my last pump. Also my old pump struggled to register high pressures on my road bike, this new pump does it with ease. Well recommendedLargetrousers

To pump a bike tire to 40 PSI required an incredible amount of effort. Upon closer inspection, the garbage quick connect nozzle was not depressing the shrader valve in enough and I was simply pressurizing the hose to 40 PSI. Tried connecting a few more times, carefully reading the instructions but same problem. I bought this for my kids as it seemed straight forward and kid friendly for them to manage their own tire pressures. Unfortunately I never read the reviews before dropping the $$$. Back to the store it goes.Chris
I just bought this today because I have presta valves and kids have schrader valves. Couldn't get this to do anything on the presta valve, all the air just comes right out the top of the schrader attachment! I should've read the reviews first! Complete waste of my time and money.SueL
14. Lezyne Sport Drive Hv Pump – Black

Product Details:
The lezyne sport drive hv consists of a piston and a chamber made of aluminium, paired with a handle and end caps made of composite matrix. thanks to the hv design, tires are lighter and with a few strokes brought to optimal pressure. the overlapping design of the handle and the oversized chamber and piston underline the compact design. the pump comes with a composite matrix frame mount and abs flex hose. abs (air drain valve)the patented abs knob releases pressure from the pump hose, simplifying removal of the flip-thread chuck and eliminating the risk of presta valves unscrewing the valve core as well. twin chuckthe hand pump is supplied with the patented flex hose which is compatible with presta and schrader valves. aluminium constructionaluminium is a robust and lightweight material. therefore it is used by lezyne for various precise pump parts. composite matrixcomposite matrix is a very strong material used by lezyne to form durable components.
Reviews:
Very compact, I like that it fits to the side of the water bottle holder so it doesn’t take up a water bottle spot. The hose attachment makes it much easier to use. One thing to note is that the max pressure is 90 PSI, so if you’re using this for a road bike it won’t fill your tires all the way but definitely enough to get you home!Mikko S.
Bought this pump to use with a folding bike that I use from time to time. Really very effective, with a really good connection hose to connect to the tyre valve. Pumps up the tyres in no time at all. Tried it on my 29er tyres, no problem. Thoroughly recommended purchase.grumpyolegit
15. Schwinn Floor Pump, Air Center Pro, High Pressure

Product Details:
You were all ready to go for a ride and darn it if you tire doesn't need a little more air. no worries, you have the schwinn air center pro floor pump. sure, there are plenty of bike pumps out there, but the air center pro has several key features that make it a great asset when you're in a pinch. there is a wide metal base that keeps it stable and an indicator-style pump head that takes the guesswork out of wondering if the pump head is truly attached to the valve. when the handle is up the window is green, meaning it is ready to connect. when the handle is down, the window is red, meaning it isn't ready to connect. easy, right you have the option of a presta or schrader valve so all the bikes in the family are covered. with a pump, the height of the barrel is equal to the capacity, which is how much air the pump can push into the tire per pump. with a 24-inch barrel height and a 38 inch diameter steel barrel, you'll get a nice gust of air with each pump, which means fewer pumps for a fully-inflated tire. there are molded handles for comfort, a convenient handle gauge that goes to 160 psi, and an included sports ball needle and inflation cone for all your pumping needs. nothing is holding you back, enjoy the ride with a schwinn.

16. Bontrager Air Rush Road Mini Pump

Product Details:
Reviews:
I bought this pump very recently and on delivery I noticed there was no CO2 canister jacket as advertised in the Sigma Sports website description. There is no mention of it on the packaging so I'm not convinced that the hybrid pump/CO2 canister version has the protection jacket included. It is a well made piece of kit and does look durable. There are three threads on the pump, one for the canister, one for the presta/schrader valve and the other one at the end – I have no idea! Is it for storage of a spare cansiter? If the pump came with instructions it would be able to tell you what this thread is for. I cannot find any information on how to use this pump anywhere so it's a case of trial and error I think. The important thing is the pump works as intended and I'm yet to have a puncture so time will tell. Great concept though to mitigate against running out of CO2 or double puncturing whilst solo riding.tonymm55

I just used it 4 times, to seat 2 new tires and inflate 2 more. It looks like some rubber is chewing up a little at valve. Scraping sounds after use. I used TV Tuner cleaner with lube on the top with the handle up and rotated handle going down. Probably the plastic housing scraping on the metal pump tube. They say don't lube but the scrapping came from somewhere. I also believe a light touch is needed so you don't over heat it. Keep you man paws from treating it like gym equipment. This thing is bound to get water inside it like a compressor and rust out. I would pump it several times open end to make sure no water inside. It comes with nozzle wrapped in plastic for a reason. Mud wasp would like nozzle end. I keep it in the closet. Sun would eat up plastic. Any problems I'll take it back to the dealer.Donald
Must be a bad batch of Bontreger pumps out there. Like other posters after a few months the handle/stem jamming and took ridiculous amount of force to get any air. REI replaced and second one was even worse, made grinding sound and jammed a few times before giving out! No more Bontreger for me!!!Kell
Bought this as a replacement for my old JoeBlow which i had for years. The bontrager worked like an absolute dream…… for about 10days or 8 tyres. Then it completely broke with the piston no longer pushing air and also getting blocked and locked. what a waste and a disappointment.Gavin

At first, I was a little concerned that compared to the higher-priced pumps it might not be very good quality. I have to say I was worried for nothing. This is a great pump. Had my tires from almost flat to full pressure in no time. I was also happy to see that the majority of the pump is constructed of metal. I believe it will last for a very long time and keep all the tires (on three bikes) pumped up and ready to go without issue.Timberwolf
My first track pump was a specialized, bought in 2007. It gave up the ghost 2 years ago and I replaced it with a Lezynne as I had a good hand pump from them. Biggest mistake I've made for a long time. Useless, head kept breaking and I secretly longed for a refund when I sent it back to the seller BUT instead they replaced the head and I've had to suffer with it. It gave up the ghost about 2 months ago and I replaced it with this one. Works flawlessly, ergonomic handle and easy to read dial. Just bought a new MTB with tubeless set up, works great for inflating these too.Bigrich
Happy to get my Specialized Floor pump with east-to-read guage for my new Diverge Carbon. It is stylish and ergonomic. I especially like the auto-sensing Switch-Hitter II head that can be used on either Schreader or Presto valves and the clips to neatly store the hose up off the floor. Volume of air per stroke is great and I had my tires pumped to max pressure in no time! Recommended!Brian
19. Lezyne Pocket Drive Pump – Black

I have used this pump with my 25mm road tires and presto valves. I get 2-5 flats/year because a lot of dirt roads as well as pavement in western Massachusetts and southern Vermont. This pump has never failed me in over 7 years. Sturdier than the plastic ones I have had previously and fits Easily in my jersey or small seat pack. I often end up inflating for others after they have “technical difficulties” with CO2 cartridges or failures with other pumps. After reviewing the options available at REI, the Lezyne looks best so getting this for my son.Eddy
This pump got used on it's first outing with me when I found some goat-head thorns. The metal construction feels excellent and I like the design of the two-sided (Presta/Schrader) hose, it unscrews from one side for storage and screws into the other side to pump. It includes a bracket that attaches to bottle cages bosses and seems very secure.Jeremy
Good quality product. This is the LV (Low Volume) model. Could do with having a slightly higher pressure rating as got quite stiff to pump up tyres to reach desired pressure. But it's a trade off between pressure possible and time to inflate tyre.Same company does a HV version, but it would be nice to have a pump which fitted inbetween, i.e. a MV (Medium volume version of the pump. But love the compact size.ilees65464

I had used the cheaper Lezyne Sport Floor Drive Pump for the 12 years prior. When that eventually broke down I decided to stick with the brand and upgrade to the Classic Floor Drive. Pump is very well built, solid and durable. It's stays very steady on the ground and doesn't wobble when being pumped. The gauge is over-sized and really easy to read, a plus. The gauge read out is also accurate.Garvey C.
Threaded attachment to air valve so much better and secure than the typical lever on most pumps. Takes a few seconds longer to secure but worth it. Powerful, only a few strokes needed to fill tire. Air relief button allows you to over fill a few pounds and release a bit of air to get exact pressure you want. Gauge is very large and easy to read.Gb3ck
Ditch the Topeak and get this pump. Accurate. Powerful. Best head with NO leak upon removalBlair L.
