Specifications:
Reviews:
We are old and ride a lot of miles. We call these old man saddles. They are nicely cushioned, full split down the middle to help prevent numbness, and the sides work independently adding more comfort. Unfortunately, the cover wears out after a few thousand miles, so you end up buying more. Wish Serfas would upgrade that feature.Myrkle
I've owned and loved the related product, the Serfas 921V for years on my hardtail MTB, so when I picked up a Specialized Diverge recently, this saddle seemed worth a shot. I rode with it during the Melburn Roobaix on the weekend over some pretty rough cobblestones and at the end of the ride my backside was still good to go. For context I'm a 65kg rider, who likes riding a combination of sealed and gravel/dirt paths. While I'm at the lighter end of the scale, I'm also quite skinny around the sit bones. Combined with an aversion to wearing padded shorts, firm saddles used to leave me feeling quite sore on both the squishy bits and the sit bones at the end of a long, bumpy ride. This saddle gives me none of that. I'm also running 700x30c tyres at 50psi to help soften the ride a little, so your mileage may vary if you're a much heavier rider, or running much higher pressures. If you're already riding with padded shorts but need a bit more, then this might be what you need.infinity.04
The sales associate who helped me find this saddle told me to give it a couple weeks and call back to let them know how it is…well I never did that but WOW – most comfortable seat ever!!!! For real, I rarely have sore glutes following big rides, and typically wear unpadded pants so this seat is fantastic. The middle split is also great – provides much needed ventilation. Totally worth the price!Megan
2. Fizik Argo Tempo R1 Saddle 160mm Black

Product Details:
The fizik tempo argo r1 is a carbon road bike saddle designed for long days spent in the saddle. with a snub-nosed design and generous cushioning, riders will find the fizik tempo argo r1 carbon road bike saddle increases comfort and stability by allowing a more forward sitting position. while they benefit from its carbon-reinforced nylon shell and stiff carbon rails which keep weight low and has the added benefit of increasing rider efficiency through better power transfer. the tempo argo's short length and short nose keep the rider in a planted position that increases stability and promotes better weight distribution that delivers a riding feel that suits the balanced geometry of endurance and all-road bikes. to ensure rider comfort, the tempo argo takes advantage of fizik's proprietary type 2 foam which promotes a more upright riding position and features softer padding for increased long-distance comfort. in addition, the ergonomic cut-out reduces the unnecessary pressure on the pelvis and sit bones you'd expect when adopting a more forward position. with the fizik tempo argo r1 carbon road bike saddle, you'll find weekend gran fondos more comfortable and your legs and undercarriage feeling less tired after every ride!
Reviews:
I bought this saddle a month ago to replace an OEM saddle on a Norco Search XR that was simply too flat/race specific … and altogether uncomfortable for my age and flexibility. The Tempo Argo R3 was suggested after using Fizik's saddle finder tool, inclusive of knowing my sitting bone width. The Tempo Argo R3 is designed to seat the less flexible rider in a more fixed position by having 2cm less nose to slide forwards/backwards and also having a raised/wider sitting section at the rear. I've followed Fizik's general advice that the front 75mm of the saddle should be perfectly horizontal and so far I'm finding the required comfort through the entire 2-3 hours of my average ride. Possibly I may tilt the nose of the saddle a degree or two upwards to create a 'hollow' and see if this keeps me more planted in the saddle's comfy spot. Build quality is superb and it looks like it will last.Mr Ad
This saddle is pretty firm but offers wider sizes for wider sitbones and good relief from the carve out. I have this and the Specialized Power saddle and they both feel extremely similar so my suggestions would be to buy whichever one of those is more competitively priced at the time.Party Size
With all the hype around short nosed wider saddles like the Specialized Power I thought I would give this new Fizik a try. My previous saddle was a Fizik Aliante in standard width and no cutout. I found the Aliante reasonably comfortable for rides up to around 3 hours but then would start getting a bit sore beyond that. Hence my reason to try something different. I’ve used the Argo a fair bit on the Turbo and on a 100 km outdoor ride. I have to say on the whole it’s pretty comfortable and I think I prefer it to the Aliante. It feels more comfortable in the drops with the cutout and the wider base gives great support when climbing. The padding is a little more plush than the Aliante too, but still on the firm side. I did still get a little sore after 4 hours in the saddle, but no major issues. So it’s a keeper for now. One thing to note is the rail adjustment. Rail centre is significantly more rearward than the Aliante so could be a problem for some if they need to mount their saddle further forward. But the range of adjustment was fine for me. Another point of note is the smooth surface finish, which Is a totally different finish to my Aliante, which has a rough texture which grips your shorts. On the plus side the smooth finish makes it easy to adjust your position, but it also means you can slide around a little unintentionally. But not a big deal as long as it doesn’t polish up too much with wear. Build quality seems solid and it’s a good looking saddle on the bike. Minimal graphics makes it a pretty stealthy option too. Price perhaps a little on the high compared to competitors, but it is a brand new model and the finish is good.Pete

Reviews:
Sit bone width 113 Saddle width 143 After spending a season on the Specialized Power Saddle, I found that there were some pressure points that developed for me over some of my longer rides. After a bit of research I found that the Specialized Power Arc saddle was specifically with a different curve than the original Power saddle. This means that if you want a Power saddle but you felt like the original power didn't fit well for you, then this is your answer. For me this was the case. I found that I was able to ride on this saddle more comfortably and for longer than I was able to ride on the sister saddle. I also found that by comparison, I lost none of the gains in power that the saddle allowed me to have. That being said, this still isn't a great long distance saddle. You're going to be much better off using the Romin saddle if you want a similar fit for anything longer than 70-80 miles of riding. The overall design of the saddle is perfect for allowing you to put down the power. The shape of the saddle in the rear is more flat, and the middle cutout makes it ideal for any type of riding, road, gravel or mountain. The shorter nose allows for more aggressive positioning when needed although you should note that you will likely need to make some fore and aft adjustments to your regular saddle position by comparison. Between this saddle and the Power Arc saddle, if you're on the hunt for a new seat, I firmly believe that you'll find a great fit on one or the other of the two after trying both.Crozier
I believe the sizing was right for me, 143mm for 110-115mm sit bones. Saddle is not ideal for regular road riding positions, not comfortable. very comfortable however descending/ in the drops being aggressive. As advertised so not marked down for that. if you're doing a 60km+ ride I don't think you will likely be in these aggressive positions for long so consider what will suit the riding you'll be doing. I think the aesthetic finish/ build quality is lacklustre for a £115 (rrp) saddle. The fabric is crudely bonded to the plastic on the underside with a very ugly creaased seam. The likes of a £35 fabric saddle have a much nicer seamless finish underneath. I also find their saddles uncomfortable though. Not the lightest saddle at this price point.Billy M.
I first purchased a Knock-Off Power Saddle, then purchased a Specialized Power Saddle from Jenson's. To the naked eye, they appear to be identical. Even plastic base is molded the same as carbon base of the Specialized saddle. The differences start with the lack of flexing in the Specialized saddle, compared to the Knock-Off. To me, the cushioning is a bit firmer, maybe because Specialized saddle has no flex. Over longer rides, my butt can tell the difference, Specialized Power Saddle WINS. Sometimes I forget about what I'm sitting on. The only negative might be the fact that it's harder to ride, no hands, because of the shorter length seatDavid

Reviews:
I bought this saddle to replace my racing one. It's really comfortable. My friend had some prostrate issues that his doctor told him was due to extensive riding with a hard racing seat. This fixes that problem without adding too much weight. In my opinion the extra little weight is worth my prostrate health. I did have a clip-on saddle bad that no longer fits so if you use one I'd recommend a velcro strap bag. Overall a great saddle.Psyfrog
tried a few different seats and this one is the most comfortable since i don't have any real bike shorts with the extra padding. work well due to wider area for support. groove down the center cuts down weight and might improve air flow. its heavier than the skinny seats obviously but having a comfy seat is a must and weight should not be a big issue. I put this seat on my road bike and have commuted over 1000km this year and it still looks like new. of course everybody is different so it might not be the right seat for you but i was specifically looking for a wider seat as i thought it would be more comfortable.zoomanium

Reviews:
Have had issues with various saddles for over 30 years ("sleeping" private parts etc.). This cost a leg and an arm – especially since I always have the same saddle on all my bikes – but it really is more comfortable to use than other saddles. My first "short" nosed saddle, but works fine for me. Not sure everyone needs it. Saddles are very individual and some get along with much cheaper options. But if you have issues and find it difficult to find a good match its worth trying this out. Normally it takes a few weeks to break a new saddle in and it can be a little painful at first riding it day after day. Not so with this saddle. Did ten days straight and could hardly feel anything from one day to the next. Amazing! Makes my rides more fun and trips longer.Maiaibing
like many older cyclists (I'm 60) the search for the perfect saddle (and pad) seems endless. I have tried >10 expensive saddles from all the "top" brands (and cheap ones too). Foir racing I arrived at the Berk Lupina (pefect lightweight and comfortable) but I wanted a saddle for longer all-day rides. Specialized Power Mirror saddle was unavailable so I bought a Fizik Antares Versus EVO R1 Adaptive 3D printed road bike saddle (139mm). I have since sold it because it did not suit at all (felt very hard and inflexible). The Specialized S-Works Power Mirror Saddle came back in stock and I bought one. Its fitted on my Specialized Roubaix expert (both outside and on the turbo trainer. Believe the hype, its incredible, at first it feels small but the progressive 3-D padding works a treat, I find the saddle sits back further but not with any loss of comfort. Outside it's a dream, however long and in whatever bib shorts I use (Assos, Pedal Mafia mostly) no rubbing or chaffing. On the trainer where ALL other saddles/pad combinations result in numb "nuts" I find I can ride without a problem for hours. It's fiercely expensive, yes, but it does the job brilliantly and (now I'm used to its looks) is pretty cool. The flex in the 3D padding is really clever, the central cleft much wider than the Fizik 3D saddle and overall the carbon fibre shell is far more flexible than the Fizik composite one. The flex is what I love about the Berk saddle too.Nick2960
I had Ergon Saddles on my E-bikes and they worked fine. In steep climbs where I needed to put more weight on the front of the wheel, the longer saddle was very uncomfortable. I was in my LBS and looking at the Specialized Power Pro Elaston with MIMIC which I believe is a women's saddle, so I bought it and it was very good, but not excellent. I saw S-Works Power with Mirror but the price scared me away. Lars the owner said he had people purchase one and they were back the next week to purchase the saddle. for all their bikes. So I bought one in my size a week later and installed it on my S-Works Levo. Steep Climbs or long rides it feels like I am sitting on my sofa.I have since bought a second one. I have been riding bikes for 50 years and in my experience it is incredible. I wonder if Specilized will ever have a BOGO sale, probally not.Bill
10. Wtb Sl8 Saddle – Carbon Black Narrow

Product Details:
Being very kind to the scales and shedding over 100 grams to the entry-level sl8, the wtb sl8 carbon saddle instantly becomes the best friend of weight-conscious racers. the 155 gram sl8 carbon rewards you with a weight that is on-par with top-tier carbon saddles, but at a more budget-minded cost. the sleek and trim profile immediately sets a strikingly different tone than wtb’s traditional line-up. built for uncompromised, racing comfort and shedding all unneeded weight, the sl8 is the elite saddle for performance-focused riders. the shortened overall length makes your on-off bike transitions seamless and snag-free, while the narrowed main body of the sl8 reduces thigh chaffing as you’re tucking in for effective time-trial positioning. thin padding helps maximize road feedback and keep the overall weight low. wtb recommends the sl8 for mixed-uses from adventure road to drop-in gravity racing.
Reviews:
I have 125mm sit bones when in about 45 degree riding position which seems to be a little wide for most guys. I picke dup the Deva as a last previous year demo for real cheap, and so far it is my favorite saddle. Over the past 6 years I have tried everything from $20-$330 saddles trying to find the magical saddle that never causes pain. However I kept coming back the the Deva. After about 4 years the plastic developed an annoying creaking sound, so I am now trying the new Koda to see how it compares to the Deva. I am in no way upset about the sound since 4 years for a saddle that I beat up mountain biking is good enough for me. I haven't had the Koda long enough to give a thorough review other than it is similar to the Deva but slightly shorter and more padded. I'm still not sure if those are good qualities or not.RimpoFoSho
Comes in widths, which matters to me. Super comfortable for any length of ride. A bit long in the nose; sometimes snags shorts on techy stuff, but not often. Problem is both rails snapped off on a small drop. WTB promptly replaced it. A few months later, the second seat lost a rail on a flat section of trail while pedalling. I hope the F35 uses better titanium. I'll be looking for something more durable.tyrebyter
The WTB Volt Saddle was always my favorite – comfy for long miles and plenty of options for moving around on even the longest rides – and multi-day rides too. But even though the WTB Rocket Saddle has a very similar shape, it ups the ante with more padding that achieves a comfort level that makes even the Volt pale in comparison. Highly recommended!

12. Bontrager Verse Elite Bike Saddle – Black

Product Details:
The bontrager verse elite replaces the well-known bontrager ajna and bontrager montrose saddles. with its improved design the verse elite is light and stiff, providing optimal support for competitive riders. as this saddle has a wide cut-out and is available in different widths, it is suitable for women and men. it is also suitable for both on-road and off-road riding. the shell of the bontrager verse elite saddle is reinforced with carbon, which makes the saddle extra stiff, improving power transfer and control. a carbon-reinforced saddle shell is also less likely to sag than a nylon saddle, and will therefore last longer. the shell is covered with a thin yet comfortable padding, which is finished with an anti-slip cover to prevent too much shifting during cycling. the rails of the bontrager verse elite are made from cromoly steel. using this unique composite and design bontrager has managed to make these rails lighter than titanium! saddle shape this saddle has a semi-round rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who move a little as they ride and whose hips rock a little from side to side. the semi-round shape provides plenty of support for these riders, while still offering sufficient freedom of movement compared to a flat saddle. flexibility this is an s-shaped saddle, meaning that it is raised at the back and lowered in the middle. this s-shape makes it possible for people with an inflexible spine to sit in a sporty cycling position. this has to do with pelvis rotation; people with an inflexible spine often have more trouble rotating their pelvis. cut-out this saddle has a wide cut-out which alleviates pressure for those who often experience discomfort or pressure to their soft tissue areas.

As a weekend warrior, I am always looking for long rides on the w/end after a long grueling workweek. The Domane SL 5 came with a stock saddle 138mm with no relief channel. As a result, I was forced to stop almost every 5 miles to get some relief. Enter Bontrager Verse Comp Bike Saddle (155mm) and all that unpleasant experience went away. Now I am able to bike longer and I only stop to take in the views. While the idea is to get you off the armchair into doing something, no one should compromise on saddles because it makes or breaks the ride. Make sure you measure your dimensions as the incorrect measurement may cause issues.By Mike M
I had bought and tried 3 different seats and had almost given up and I decided to try this seat. I am so glad that I did it has the right amount of cushion for and the cut out gives me plenty of room to either sit up or drop the hammer with power intervals I will for sure look no where else bravoBy Jim
I have a 2020 Domane SL5. The stock seat was brutal. I tried an Ergon, Aeolus Comp and a Bontrager Kovee. The Kovee was the best but I decided to try one more so I got the Verse Comp. Rode today. 31 miles with about 3000 feet of climbing with 2 brutal climbs during. I am blown away by how I didn't notice the saddle at all. That's what I look for. Not for a saddle to "feel good" but to feel nothing. The Kovee was 128 mm and I went with a 135 mm Verse. I am 5'4" 148 lbs in very good shape so smaller saddles do well with me. With the Verse I felt more supported and not like I was wrapped around the nose like I did with the Kovee. I tilted the saddle down a bit in the front so the middle was level since that is where I spend most of my time while on the hoods. When I was in the drops the downward nose tilt was perfect and when I was in the down hills I slid to the back which also felt great. For me, this saddle is the bomb.By Jeff

Reviews:
This seat is perfectly wide (more wide than the commuter seat) but also not obnoxiously wide. Works great to replace the hard narrow seat my bike came with. It looks stylish and quality seems okay, but what I’d expect for the price. I wish it was a tad more padded but overall not bad.Peretz12
I used it today for the first time. I must've got lucky cause I put it on and didn't really have to adjust it to find the "perfect" fit. It is way better than the original bike seat. When I used the original bike seat, I had to keep standing up on my pedals cause my bottom hurt. With this, I didn't have to do it at all. I rode 10 miles and the seat should be the standard on bikes, not the custom part. I'm glad I found a seat I can use without having to spend extra $$$ on bicycle shorts.larrye998
I'm about 250 pounds and haven't ridden bicycles for decades. Started looking for a used bike recently and knew there were two things I didn't want this time around – those drop handlebars and the skinny seats that usually go along with them. I bought this seat to replace a slightly smaller seat and I would say this is an improvement over what the bike I bought came with. I was expecting to bottom out the springs on this seat hitting bumps but that hasn't been a problem. I will say that the springs seemed a little squeaky when I first put it on but they don't seem too bothersome after a couple of weeks of use. One thing that Did surprise me is the seat may not be 100% waterproof. Most of the time I park the bike next to the side of the house and one night we had about two inches of rain… the next day when I went for a ride I had a pretty wet butt when I got home! So now I put a plastic bag over it at night. Overall I'm quite happy with this seat.markski999

I have tried many bike seats and this has been the only one that I can ride on all day. I have bought one for every bike I own. Very comfortable and not hard. It doesnt rub on my inner thighs either. I am 52 and weigh 100lbs. I am not sure how it would fit a large person. I would not consider it oversized or wide. It is comparable in size to the memory foam seats that you see that are vented. For the price it is definitely worth a try.vetdrspot1yy9
I recently started using a Schwinn Sport Bike Saddle for my bike and I really like it. This is so much more comfortable than the seat that came on my bike. The seat is really well padded and it is cool when riding. I don’t get hot when sitting on it. The seat itself was super easy to install. I had it on my bike in a few minutes. My kids and their friends have been using my bike now since they think the Schwinn Sport Bike Saddle is more comfortable than theirs!Meg025
If you are a frequent biker, don't buy this! because the tip of the saddle hits the side of your thigh when your back is bent a little bit. This saddle is designed for cruise bikes meaning that your back should be completely straight all the time. The use can be that you wanna bike once a week and you want to be completely upright. But if you are a frequent biker that use your bike for daily commutes, it's very common for your back to be bent a little, and I think the commute bike seat of Schwinn might work for you.arty

This seat was so nice I had to buy a second one! Not sure if it comes in colors? Black and tan would be nice options. The seat also includes a seat cover to protect from rain as well as all the tools you would need for an install. The photo I have included shows the Bikeroo seat in the rear position of the vintage 1960s Huffy Daisy Tandem I'm restoring. I have since purchased the second Bikeroo saddle for the front rider position. Almost done!uncleshish

Reviews:
I bought an e bike for my 22 RT commuting to work and noticed the seat it came with was not comfortable at all. My spine felt every bump. I compared the seat to my hybrid Raleigh Detour (which everyone who rides says is so comfortable and easy to ride) and noticed way more spring and cushion on my regular hybrid. So I tried to replicate and found this seat. At first it seemed kind of big & over the top cruiser sort of style so I wasn’t sure. But I adjusted the angle and it’s perfect. It changes my riding experience 100%. Smooth and comfortable. I even aimed for pot holes to see how it would go. The guy at the ebike store even said it was great. It fits well on my COMO 4.0 e bike & matches color of the old seat.DancingMom

Reviews:
I have always been a big fan of the SDG Bel-Air from the launch of the original saddle, they have always been a great saddle for all day riding but I find the rear rise and the shorter length of the 3.0 compromises this a little which is reflected in my 3 star score, it really should have been a 4-5! With the seat in a neutral flat position, the rear rise pushes your weight to the Bars, tilting the saddle back eases this and I can imagine it would help you transition off the back of the saddle for the steep descents if you do note have a dropper post, you may need one if you opt for this saddle with it's level of rear rise. I must note that the saddle is engineered really well and if you are looking for ascents of color, the options are great!Ivan
I read a lot of great reviews on the SDG Bel Air 2.0 with titanium rails, so I ordered one. The very next day, the 3.0 was released so I promptly cancelled my order and got this one from JensonUSA at a great price. Installation was straightforward, and a little fine tuning was needed to set the angle and fore/aft position. This saddle is swept up a bit at the back so for me, it feels a bit more comfortable with the nose tilted slightly up. The reviews and ads don’t lie, this thing is pretty comfortable! And after a couple of rides of 10-15 miles each, no more numbness. This saddle is flatter and wider at the nose than my previous saddle, so it caused just a little bit of friction on my thighs, but I’m sure it’s something that I’ll just get toughened up to. I’d highly recommend this saddle. For reference, I’m 5’11” 210 pounds.Christopher
