Looking to upgrade your cleaning routine with a robot vacuum? When choosing the best robot vacuum for commercial use, there are a few key factors to consider.
First, examine the size and layout of your space. Larger commercial areas like offices, stores, and warehouses require a robot vacuum with longer battery life and boosted navigation technology to efficiently cover large square footages. Models meant for home use likely won’t have the power and programming required to handle expansive commercial floors.
Next, think about the types of floors and surfaces the robot will be cleaning. Is it mostly hardwood or carpet? Are there any small rugs or doormats that could obstruct the vacuum’s path? Opting for a model with sensors and software to detect and maneuver around obstacles can minimize issues. Models with carpet boost modes can help ensure a deeper clean on soft surfaces.
Finally, consider smart features like app control, scheduling, self-emptying bins, and mapping capabilities. These allow for more automated, customized cleaning cycles so the robot can truly run independently without frequent human supervision. This autonomy is especially important for commercial settings.
Doing ample research to find the right balance of battery life, obstacle navigation, and smart self-charging and mapping features will ensure the robot vacuum can efficiently handle the dirt and dust of high-traffic commercial spaces. After considering these key factors, you’ll be ready to choose the best robot vacuum to meet your business’s unique cleaning needs.
What features and capabilities should you prioritize in your search for the ideal robotic vacuum? How can automation help improve cleanliness and free up staff time in your commercial space? As you evaluate your options, keep these questions in mind to help guide your purchasing decision.

This little baby is an absolute game changer! With pets and people through the house all day, there has always been the chore of yet another floor vacuum looming. Oh my goodness .that daily chore has been wiped off the list! Instead I have taken great delight in making a coffee and sitting down to watch this wonderful little maid complete it all for me !!! It does a great job, zooming around sucking up all the mess, yet also gently manoeuvres its way around chair legs and obstacles without causing any chaos. And I have to say, one of the best things is that it cleans under the bed!!!! No more do I have to get down there in awkward positions trying to manoeuvre the vacuum stick underneath to clean all the dust! What a winner!!! Absolutely love it and am still so excited about being able to just set it and leave it to do its thingand I don't even have to put it away as when its finished, as it says clean completed and takes itself back to the charging station to charge and wait until the next time! The Deebot not only vacuums but mops as well. Very easy to set up, not terribly noisy and had no problems moving from the tiles to the wooden floor, the carpet or the rugs. Am really happy with the vacuum job it does and although I will still hand mop the floors once a week, the Deebot's mop saves me from having to mop more frequently and my floors stay looking clean and tidy with no effort thanks to this awesome little home helper!Lisa
N8 Pro has all the advanced features of a premium robot vacuum but at a fraction of the price. Suction strength is good for both hard floors and carpet. Carpet detection means it automatically increase suction power for carpets and the cleaning result is good. During the first use it maps out the house, this initial step does take a long time to complete. After the initial mapping, I can choose to clean the whole house or smaller designated areas and it does so in a much shorter amount of time.During vacuum, it has sensors to avoid things like slippers, socks or random items lying on the ground. It does this reasonably well but I did have a floor standing fan that the vacuum cleaner didn't recognise as an obstacle to avoid, so it climbs on to the fan base and it ends up getting stuck and gave an error. To elaborate, the fan base was shaped like a ramp so the robot vacuum thinks it can proceed onto the base instead of avoiding it. I've worked out the solution was to either remove the fan from the floor to be cleaned or I could create a virtual wall with the Ecovac cleaning app so the robot vacuum will avoid the fan. Noise level is lower than expected. It is definitely much quieter than my non-robot vacuum cleaners.Overall, it does everything the marketing material says it can do and I think it does map, clean and avoid obstacles rather well. Battery life could be better as a single charge is insufficient to clean the whole house for me. Ecovac T8 and T9 , which are the premium models come with the bigger battery capacity but they have a much higher price point. I was happy to settle for the smaller battery because the robot will return to recharge and then continue to clean from where it left off.anonymous
I purchased the N8 Pro after considering all the other models. I have to say that so far I am very impressed with how well it vacuums my hardwood floors and carpets. It has no trouble changing from hardwood to carpet and does a very decent job, a lot better than I expected. The mapping went well however it did take a while as it had to recharge before it finished off the mapping. The 3D Auto detection does a good job of avoiding obstacles along with my dogs that like to stand in its way. I also purchased the auto empty bin and I am so glad I did. I find that it makes it so fuss free and saves having to empty it each time. I now vacuum my hardwood floors in our living areas and the main bedroom every day and the entire house once a week and the floors look spotless. I tried the mopping function once and it was terrible, luckily the vacuuming makes up for its poor mopping ability. This model doesn't have the oscillating mop attachment so maybe it would work a lot better if it did. All in all it was well worth the purchase.Gail55

Reviews:
Great little machine Vacumn's brilliant. 2.30am and he's off does the whole house in 30minutes quite as wellLee
This works OK but it does need alot of maintaining the worst part of this robot vac is that the alexa voice control is very limited to start and stop only you can't tell it individual rooms to clean or go back to the dock had I have known this I wouldn't of bought it as it doesn't fit into my idea of a smart home. As for cleaning it does a pretty good job at both mopping and cleaning carpets but be aware it doesn't like dark carpets the cliff sensors stop it so I had to go to the trouble of covering the sensors with white paper covered with clear tape just to get it to clean my black dining room rug. My advice would be get yourself an irobot vac an i5 or i7 they seem to be the best going around and I'm disappointed that I fell for this one I'll know better next time.David
Great suction power and our floors are always looking clean!Valerie

Robot Vacuums – Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+ We recently decided it was time to add a new robot vac for the main house, due to a combination of new hardwood floors and a new labrador retriever. I have a neato from several years ago, but technology marches on, and neato is no longer the leader they once were. I looked at the iRobot Roombas, since they are the dominant brand, but felt that there were other options that were superior from both a performance and price perspective. I landed on the Deebot. It's smart, can empty itself, can return for charge and then resume the task, I can tell it what rooms to clean and in what order, and has a mopping attachment. It's not perfect, but it is pretty darn good.whysolonganickname
I purchased this vacuum/mop system to assist with making my life easier but the reality is it actually caused me more stress! PROS: quiet CONS: – constantly dropping wifi connection and when tried to restore via app it would get the entire way to the end of setup then throw an error code to start over – mapping feature is not accurate – not the best with picking up debris – have to add an accessory for the mop function and can only use water while mopping. I contacted the company regarding use of a cleaning product and was advised against it. – battery life not the best. The vacuum would constantly have to recharge before finishing and my space is not large. Overall I wanted to love this product because it is quieter vs my older robotic vacuum, however for the price I just could not justify keeping it due to all the reasons stated above. The vacuum would constantly stop saying to “check the drop sensor” orSavetheseaturtles
It is my first robot vacuum cleaner and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. After three months of use I can say the following: It is not very noisy, the battery gives me to clean my 4.5 house at medium power (I have a dog and a cat and it is more than enough) and it leaves it super clean. The only inconvenient for me are the replacement bags; I find them difficult to find (I have not seen in physical stores) and they are somewhat expensive for the amount that comes. When you empty the bag it makes a little more noise but it lasts about 15 seconds. I also find it very convenient that the robot itself comes with a brush with a blade at the other end to cut the hairs that get stuck in the wheels, it is very useful and practical. I would give it 4.5 stars for the issue of bags, but as it is not possible I give it a total of 4 🙂

Reviews:
Stopped working after less than a year and it wasn’t even used often. The robot is always getting lost and now it doesn’t even connect anymore. The app is awful as well. It’s glitchy and hard to navigate. The customer service support also sucks because you have to wait a while for them to reply and their English is not good. Ever since we got the vacuum it would randomly make a loud suction noise at 3 am so we can’t leave it plugged in either. You also can’t set more than 3 maps. If you wanna clean upstairs, downstairs, and the basement, you can’t. You’re forced to overwrite one of your other maps. The suction power of the vacuum isn’t even that good because my rugs are always left looking dirty after the vacuum passes over it multiple times. The brush is also always getting stuck with hair so you might as well just sweep the house yourself instead of digging out tangled hair. The vacuum also gives false reports of its dust detector being blocked.guest
The new ECOVAC DEEBOT OZMO N8+ is everything a typical homeowner should need in an automated vacuum and mop built into one machine. After removing everything from the box, registering and logging into an ECOVACS account via their smartphone application, completing the simple set up and charging the vacuum on the base, the DEEBOT was ready to start mapping the area in preparation of its first clean job. I found the mapping and navigation to be one of the most impressive features of the DEEBOT N8+ in comparison to the previous robot vacuums I have used. While using the ECOVACS app, I could see the DEEBOT was mapping out our kitchen and living room space over 30 feet away. We have a fairly large area to cover on our downstairs where the DEEBOT is located, about 1500 square feet, which includes multiple turns, table and chair legs and high-density rugs to map and navigate while cleaning. After the initial mapping, which took about an hour, the DEEBOT had to dock to charge again before starting its first cleaning job. While it was charging, I linked the ECOVACS account with my Amazon Alexa account to use voice control on the vacuum which is much more convenient than accessing the app on my phone. During its initial clean, I immediately noticed many of the upgrades and differences compared to my previous robot vacuum. For starters, the DEEBOT is much quieter than my last vacuum, even on a higher suction setting, and still had as good, or better, suction power. Also, because of the enhanced navigation and mapping technology, the DEEBOT hugged corners around my walls and furniture like a sports car on the inside corner of a road race… perhaps not as fast. Speaking of speed, the DEEBOT cleaned at a reasonable pace, not too fast and not too slow in my opinion, to ensure a thorough cleaning. Our entire downstairs is waterproof laminate, except for a couple large dense area rugs, therefore I have opted to keep the reusable mopping pad installed most of the time before use and ensuring it is rinsed off after use. The only issue I found with having longer thread rugs is the DEEBOT thinks they are an obstacle instead of a rug therefore will not traverse from the laminate to the rug for cleaning and sometimes gets stuck during the attempting transition when the mopping pad is not installed. The two fan sweeping brushes sweep on each side push debris on the sides towards the middle of the vacuum. The microfiber mop attachment does a great job cleaning using just water in the tank and no solution to worry about and is easy to remove and fill. There is also an option to use disposable mop pads instead of the included reusable microfiber pad; the package I have came with 10 disposable microfiber pads. Using the smartphone app, I could view an overview of the area the DEEBOT mapped, where it has already cleaned, the square footage of the area cleaning while in progress, the time the DEEBOT has been cleaning, battery life, cleaning preferences and much more customization option including the ability to add a virtual boundary. The app also allowed me to automatically clean on a schedule which was convenient to set and forget. The mopping function built into the vacuum is one of my other favorite features and allowed me to consolidate both a robot vacuum and robot mop into one device. After cleaning, the DEEBOT automatically returns to the base and empties the debris it collected into a disposable bag located in the base; the package I have included two disposable bags. The debris emptying process is much louder than the actual cleaning, but only take a few seconds to complete. I have used the DEEBOT about ten times and the disposable bag is not even a quarter full. The battery lasted well over an hour on one charge and using a higher vacuum speed setting. I have kept the DEEBOT on a regular cleaning schedule and my floors have remained clean without putting thought into it. In my opinion and comparing my experiences with some well-known previous model robot vacuums, the ECOVACS DEEBOT N8+ is easily the best robot vacuum I have had. It has everything you would need built into one machine and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a robot vacuum that does it all. Now I just need to convince the wifey to get one more for our upstairs.Grouticus
PROs – Effective vacuuming and mopping – Self-emptying station – Great app experience with tons of customization – Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant integration CONs – Long pet hair and larger debris may clog self-emptying channel SUMMARY Ecovac’s higher end Deebot robot vacuum cleans have long been a sort of swiss army knife when it comes to capabilities and the new N8+ is no different. The N8+ has the dual vacuuming and mopping capability that they introduced in a previous model, along with the lidar mapping capability and extremely versatile mobile app. What’s new is the addition of a self-emptying tower which adds a new degree of autonomy and hands-off operation. DESIGN + CAPABILITY The N8+ has a typical round design. Underneath 2 circular brush heads flank a roller brush to help push dirt and debris to the middle of the robot’s path. The design and rotation speed of the circular brushes was an optimal for pushing small to large debris and not to fast to fling it wildly like I’ve experience on some robots. The main cylindrical brush has a combination of bristles and rubber flaps to help brush and scoop dirt and larger debris. With this design it does a great job picking up everything in its path, but I did have issues with pet hair getting stuck. It would be nice if they had an optional roller design optimized to prevent clogging in these cases. Like other robot vacuums it has all the other typical sensors – front bumper sensors and proximity sensors, edge sensors, and cliff sensors to keep it from going downstairs and ledges. The differentiating tech for Deebots has been their excellent 2D Lidar capability. This Lidar in combination with the built-in sensors makes for more logical (and human) planning when it comes to the path and order that your N8+ tackles rooms. In large open areas it will take overlapping back and forth passes to quickly and effectively clean the large area. When it reaches a wall it will closely hug it before turning to continue its path. After getting the largest area of the room the N8+ moves to each smaller area and starts its back and forth sweep again to clean. Towards the end of the cleaning cycle it will make a pass along the whole edge of the room to make sure it got everything. I love this logical approach to path planning and it looks a lot better on carpet than random lines! In addition to navigation, the sensors will also be able to tell what kind of surface the vacuum is on, this will allow it to apply more such on thicker carpeted surfaces and less on harder surfaces like hardwood and tile. This is used not only to tell the vacuum when to increase suction, but also when to apply cleaning solution when mopping. When the robot is operating in a mopping mode it dispense cleaning solution from the tank and uses the available pad to dry and clean dirt that has attached to your surfaces. SETUP + APP Setup was very straight forward. Unpack and attach the brushes to the bottom of the robot. Next, setup the tower with sufficient space on either side, and plug into an outlet – there is a handy wrap on the back to roll up the cable for management. Finally, download the app and make an account. Deebots have a QR code that you scan with the app, once you’ve entered your Wi-Fi password the robot will connect. Before your first cleaning session, I recommend straightening up around (robot vacuum cleaners are smart, but not perfect). If there is something that is regularly on the ground that the robot might get hooked up, I recommend picking it up for the first clean. Your Deebot is going to use the lidar sensor to generate a floorplan and I like to get one that’s as accurate as possible. Once you have a great map you add virtual walls and box areas on your floorplan map that are off-limits to the robot. Additionally, once you have a map generated you can create and label rooms to expand your N8+'s cleaning capabilities. This gives you a ton of options when it comes to cleaning. You can select a particular room to be cleaned, drag a box over an area to be cleaned, or just clean everywhere. This gives you incredible flexibility when scheduling your robot’s cleans. If you know a particular area gets dirtier than others, you can schedule special cleaning sessions specific to that room. In addition to the app, there is Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant integration so that you can tell your N8+ to start/pause/stop vacuuming or mopping, return to the dock, and more! I found this extremely useful when I was trying to multitask and did not want to have to pull out my phone or changes apps. PERFORMANCE The suction and brush array did a great job of picking up small to medium size debris (think dog kibble). The only issue I had was pet hair getting stuck in the roller and not being able to be sucked out through the self-emptying channel in the dock, requiring manual intervention. This could most likely be fixed with a different brush design, a wider channel to suck out the robot’s dust bin, and mocamdenk

Reviews:
I have several robot vacuums and I can absolutely recommend this one, it cleans well and the navigation is also really good. I'm also going to talk about something that isn't common because my situation is unique. I'm a blind person and can't read print. I use an Iphone which has a built in screen reader called Voiceover which allows a person to use the touch screen if they can't see it. Basically, it allows you to touch anywhere on the screen and hear the item that you have touched, or you can swipe a finger left and right to move through the items on the screen. To activate the item that was spoken, you double tap anywhere on the screen. Depending on how apps are designed, some applications will read better than others. The Eufy home app works really well with Voiceover. I had no problem creating an account and setting up my robot. I also have no problem sending the bot out to clean or changing its settings. The main setting I wanted to change was to set the cleaning power to the highest setting, I figure if the robot has the power, why not use it? The one thing I can't do is use the features that require you to draw on the map but that's the way it is with all robot vacuums, there is no way to speak that kind of information. I always prefer to clean my entire place so for me this is not a concern. This is a great robot vacuum and I could not be happier with it.Mike A.
I’m a mother of three boys 5 years old and under. Our floors get dirty. This was a gift to myself. It has both impressed and disappointed me since I bought it two weeks ago. Cons: I’ll admit I’m new to the robot vacuum world – this is our first. But I was surprised by how much it needs to be babysat. We have it set to run after we go to bed and almost EVERY night for the last two weeks it gets hung up on something or lost. We’re vigilant about picking up the floors before bed and I have my rugs stuck to the floor. Last night was the first time it went out, did a clean of the first floor, and returned to the base without issue. So, overall not the “set it and forget it” situation I was hoping for. Also, on its highest suction mode it’s a bit loud, even with bedroom doors closed – some might not be able to sleep through it. Pros: It has a lot of features – I love features! It starts by creating a map of your house (this bit takes a while and we had to do it twice to get it right). Then once the map is complete you can send it out to clean a single/multiple rooms, a zone (like under the chairs where my kids eat), or a dirty spot (when you open an Amazon package and styrofoam bits go everywhere), or the whole floor (we have an upstairs, but haven’t tried it there yet… too many legos to pick up). I also love that you can create no-go zones – because it was frequently getting hung up on one of our sofa side tables and our fireplace landing area, I just told it not to go there and now it’s not an issue. Love that it has four suction modes, love that the battery life is ridiculously good – it can run for like 2 hours. Love that I can set it to automatically run 5x a day if I want, or to send it out wherever on command. And maybe my absolute favorite thing: it runs in a back and forth motion so I know it’s hitting every inch of floor every night. You can make it do multiple passes of the same area, also – so under the dining table can get cleaned 3x automatically. Overall, I’d recommend this investment to parents of small kids. It really has eliminated the need to sweep, what a gift! But be prepared that the first few weeks will be about making small adjustments until your robot gets acclimated – you’ll be doing a fair amount of search and rescue at the start, and retooling the map. I can confidently say I’m a robotvac convert. Like my wireless Bluetooth headphones or smart watch, I can’t imagine going back to life without a robovac.
Hey! My Eufy just died (continual complaints of Error 14 and demands that I insert the dust collector even after many reboots and cleanings and reinsertions of the dust collector). Great customer service, though, so don't be daunted by having to call them if yours suffers the same issues. I called and, after having to wait like 5 minutes (not bad!), a guy named Thomas came on the line and had me verify when/where I had bought it. Another 5 minutes and the new one is on its way along with a prepaid mailer to return the broken unit. Can't ask for better than that. The unit sucks and the customer service doesn't. I made that up right here on the spot! Hope none of you need the customer service but, if you do, Anker/eufy remembers what customer service used to be and have successfully integrated it into the 21st Century. My heartfelt thanks to them for not being AT&T and everyone else. Oh!, and the actual Robovac worked the charm…until it didn't (failed after 6 months of use). The online help had no mention of this fault, suggesting, at least to me, that this isn't something common. The Android interface is KLUNKY but it's navigable. The hardware itself seems pretty bullet proof….well, until it wasn't. But the Customer Service, (generously applied and rubbed gently, but professionally, in by a guy named Thomas until until Full Satisfaction was achieved) was great!! Ok, a little over the top but, when one unexpectedly gets the kind of service that, at one time, used to be expected as the norm, well, over the top is barely enough!

Reviews:
So impressed. I am not paid or given a free bot for this review. I researched for 4 months and settled on this model by Shark. I don't know why people are claiming that this robot marks walls it comes close but does not touch them in fact if it sees a object it slows down till it maneuvers around it. Everything advertised it does and does excellent. The app is very easy to use. People complain about the app but I think they are using cheap phones or tablets. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this unit, I watched tests between roombas and eufys and all the the robot vacuums that could self empty at twice to three times the shark was nothing is close. The main thing was all the other company's use Vslam and cameras for guidance they can not see in the dark and basically go in random action like a bump and go toy, Not this Shark that uses lidar which is a invisible rotating Laser for guidance it is perfect and works even in the dark. I had to laugh roombas latest self empty has a white spotlight led mounted above its camera so it can clean without bright sun or the lights on. So you can pay 1400.00 for the vslam spotlight robot or 500.00 for the shark and have 3yr vip warranty with latest tech and row by row cleaning, and individual room cleaning. I also want to point out that after it does a room row by row when it finishes that it goes all the way back around the border of that room. Suction power is excellent on max, but you can choose between eco, norm and max in the app. You can choose to have it go back to empty every 30 minutes and it will go right back where it left off. I never have had it not find the base or had to go find it. I know it can be frustrating when trying to decide on which robot vacuum to buy. Do yourself a favor and buy one if you don't like it they have a 90 Day return policy and the customer service is awesome and they do care.Speedracer
I was so excited to set up and start using my Shark AV2511AE AI Robot Vacuum with XL Self-Empty Base and I was not disappointed. It was easy to set up and charged pretty quickly. It was very easy to download the app and get the Shark working. The Shark will first map your space so it knows where to go each time it cleans. You can set up the Shark to clean on a schedule or you can tell it when to clean using the app. You can even send it out to spot-clean a small area if need be. When the Shark is full, it will automatically return to the base and empty itself in the base. Supposedly you can go 60 days without emptying the base. However, I have three children and a large dog and I do not believe that we can go that long without emptying the tank in the base. Even still, this is so much more convenient than my old robotic vacuum that I had to empty with each use, and often before it was finished vacuuming. Emptying the tank on the base is a breeze. The app will notify you if there is a problem with the Shark, for example, if it gets stuck on an uneven surface, or if something gets caught in the beater bar. There is also a function on the app to locate the Shark if it gets "lost" under a piece of furniture or something, but I have not had to use this function. Of course, the Shark will work best if your house is not cluttered and the floor is thoroughly clear of items such as toys or shoes. It moves easily from my hardwood floors onto my shag rug, and it's relatively quiet. The only con I can think of is that the base needs to be set up in an area with three feet of clearance on all sides. My house is not large and this really limits where we can put the base, but if you have a large house with a lot of open space this won't be an issue. It won't take the place of my regular vacuum for deep cleaning and corner cleaning but overall my house is so much cleaner with the Shark making its rounds regularly. I am so happy with this vacuum!stefinny
I have owned this Shark for about 6 weeks now. This is kind of a mixed review, as there are some things I like, and some that need lots of improvement…. Starting with the likes.. The Shark is really good when it comes to cleaning, and lack of work I now have to do. I was able to map my house pretty easily, and she remembers everything (I think!). When she goes out to clean, she always does a thorough job, and everything looks clean. I haven’t had any issues with scratched baseboards or furniture – she does bump into things here and there, but no damages or anything. For the way she cleans, and the easiness of having her clean, I would give her a 5-star review……. But that leads me to the dislikes (it’s really one major dislike – but it really ruins everything about the machine)…. The App sucks – mostly when it comes to connecting to, and staying connected to the machine. I have a very strong internet signal at my house, and rarely have issues with any internet-connected items I have. This robot, however, just does not stay connected, and there really isn’t any easy way to simply reconnect (at least none that I can find). You have to go in through the App, and delete the machine, and then re-add it in order to re-connect to the internet. It wouldn’t be too bad if this happened periodically, but it’s everyday – and now, I just don’t bother anymore, I just hit the clean button to have her do her work! If it was just the App, and connection issues, I would make this review a 0-star! But the 2 issues put together give it my 3-star rating……. I plan to purchase another machine in the near future, but not sure if I will go with Shark again, as I really like the internet connectivity features – they are pretty important to me…. But we shall see!Markym89

Reviews:
We purchased this Roomba, after owning one from another brand and becoming frustrated. We were tired of it missing spots constantly, getting stuck, and only cleaning one spot until the battery died. We decided to spend the extra money as Roomba is the "Gold Standard". When we got the robot, it took about 3.5 hours to map our house, and when looking at the map it seemed fairly accurate. Now, every time we send it out to clean a certain room, it usually ends up lost on its way to the room, or on its way back home. It is constantly getting stuck under the table and chairs, and getting stuck on the ledge of the sliding door. The solution to this is to spend MORE money on a virtual wall? For the price point of this product, this is all unacceptable. Don't get me wrong, when I follow it around and move every chair and table out of its way, the thing does a great job. Good suction and doesn't leave much behind. But for all that effort, I could just use a traditional vacuum. So, for the price, I cannot say I am impressed. Nor would I recommend the product. I will most likely be returning mine if possible.
Had mine for a couple of years now. Not as pleased as I would have hoped. It does seem to effectively clean the areas covered. However, the "intelligence" of the unit is GREATLY overstated. It constantly gets stuck on the rails of my patio slider doors and can't seem to figure out that maybe it should avoid these. Supports suggestion was to PURCHASE the area avoidance sensors. It sends me a message (on my iPhone) that it's stuck but I get NO audible notification, so unless I am actually looking at my phone I don't know it's stuck. All notifications for the app are enabled on my iPhone. Support said this was a problem with my iPhone yet I get notifications from all other apps. It's mapping is not reliable as I can sit and watch it go over the exact same spot 5 or 6 times. i.e. it will do the spot in front of our couch, then move to the kitchen, then come right back to the couch and go over the same spot again. We have it set to clean approximately 1500 Sqft and it takes 4-5 hours to complete. Much noisier than I expected. Lately it is providing an error that claims "The Robot Base Needs Your Attention" but does NOT identify specifically what is the problem (seems to evacuate OK, bag is NOT full). Submitted issue to support and they sent out a new base, but it does the same thing. Have followed cleaning instructions for sensors in the base and the robot but nothing seems to address this issue. While it IS nice to NOT have to manually vacuum, the fact that it takes 5 hours is a disappointment. I can pull out the manual vac and do the job in about 30 minutes. It says it's MAPPING but does not really seem to know where it is at. It just seems to roam randomly around the house until it bumps into things. I expected more.
This Roomba is a complete waste of money. It cleans just okay. My old, cheaper Roomba 655 used to have a completely FULL bin after vacuuming. This new and supposedly improved model barely has anything in the bin when it finishes cleaning the same space. Speaking of the bin, it is the ABSOLUTE WORST part of this Roomba. It constantly says it is full, even when it isn't. The hair, dust, etc. that is vacuumed doesn't fully transfer to the bin but sits inside the vacuum, falsely making the Roomba think it is full. My old Roomba that I bought nearly 6 years ago worked a MILLION times better untl it finally died. I could have had it repaired for around $100 but instead chose to purchase a new one. What a HUGE, incredibly regreftul mistake on my part. I loved my old Roomba and raved about it so much over the years that many of my friends were convinced to buy one as well. Now, I am sad to say, my Roomba is one of my most hated electronics in my smart home. I use it because I can't afford a new one right now (I saved for months to buy the i3), but I am literally NEVER satisfied with it. Not one single vacuum job it does meets my expectation. iRobot should discontinue this model immediately – it is ruining the company's reputation. I don't know that I would even bother buying a different Roomba model after my awful experience with the i3.

Reviews:
I have children and a cat and also hardwood floors throughout the main living area. I run the vacuum daily and the mop twice weekly on a schedule I set via the app. Additional runs of both are made when necessary. A daily schedule significantly cuts down on allergies for my household. The app was easy to download, set up and customize to my personal needs. The vacuum created a map on its first run and the mop did after two runs. I was able to divide out areas and label them so I can have the vacuum or the mop clean certain rooms, if desired. The mop also allows you to create smaller 'Keep Out' and 'Clean" zones, which will allow you to keep out of specific areas or do a heavier cleaning in an area. My vacuum is not showing these options and I would really like to see this feature, as my vacuum tends to get stuck on our boot tray. Upgrading from a manual empty bin to the self empty dust is a major plus for my busy family. We were emptying the bin every 1 to 2 runs, spewing dust all over as we emptied it into the trash and now it goes weeks before it will need a new bag. The mop needs to be refilled every 1 to 2 runs and I replace and clean the pad between each run. Overall, I am extremely pleased with how easy this was to personalize to suit my needs. I can use the app to run additional cleanings whether I am home or away which is very convenient. I can clean specific areas by either map or Alexa (you can also use Google/Siri). My cat likes to spend time with the mop and vacuum so enabling the child lock ensures she won't accidentally turn on one of the devices. As far as cleaning, the robot picks up a LOT of dirt and dust every single day, despite the floors not appearing dirty, which was an eye opener when compared to our previous vacuum. I ran the mop every day the first week and now have it set to twice weekly and it also picks up a lot of residue with each cleaning. You can personalize the mop to use 3 levels of cleaning solution and 3 levels of overlap (less, normal, more). There are a few things worth mentioning. The self empty cycle on the vacuum runs at the end of the cleaning. It is loud. Very loud. I was not prepared for this and it happened the first time during naptime. I have scheduled my cleanings to avoid this happening again. There is also a Do Not Disturb function that you can set in the app for the devices. Also worth mentioning is that the mop takes a long time to clean. I run about 400-450 sf on the mop and it takes 2 to 3 hours on the normal overlap, less solution setting. The mop doesn't take the same path each cleaning and sometimes runs with the hardwood and sometimes against and we have one area that it tends to show the wheel marks when it runs against. The mop also can not go over all thresholds and is limited in height. Ours can not cross into the one bathroom or laundry room due to the hardwood threshold. None of these are deal breakers for my family, but they may be for others. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this set. The combination of the vacuum and mop has my house looking clean and refreshed and has significantly cut down on our allergies. The vacuum handles cat hair, dust and dander much better than anticipated and the mop tackles the dirt and grime that comes with everyday life. I highly recommend this set to anyone with pets, kids and/or allergies, or for others simply looking for a combination of vacuum and mop that provide a deeper clean with the ability to personalize.Elthin12
I've been a Roomba user for about 15 years now and was excited to try this new WiFi connected version. Package allows you to take care of vaccuuming and mopping the floors, however software integration between two robots could have been a little better. For example – the only way to mop after the vacuum is to let Brava (mopping robot) start after Roomba (vacuum) finishes, there is no way to have them go room-by-room right after each other. Both robots do reference their own map and don't share (or don't seem to share) your house map between each other as each robot has to learn the surroundings by itself. Individually robots are doing a pretty good job though! Roomba (the vacuum) – seems to have a few troubles with a real thick carpet I have in the dining room (see photos) even with the majority of chairs removed – it tends to stop at the edge of the carpet and declare a "cliff" emergency asking for help. After manually moving the robot – it does not seem to learn the lesson and goes for the "cliff" again and again. There does not seem to be a way to block off the area of a thick carpet in the app. It does take Roomba about 6 (!!!) hours to vacuum roughly 1000 sq ft of hardwood and carpet are of my first floor so it takes multiple "naps" at the charging station. Cleaning quality is pretty good though and there is almost no mess to deal with – just replace the paper waste bag at the charging station when it gets full. Roomba does seem to bump a lot into walls and furniture though, I would probably opt for a higher model of Roomba equipped with synthetic vision and object recognition (like charging cords or pet waste). Brava (the mopping robot) – machine has an on-board tank for the cleaning liquid (Bona is what is recommended) and a spray nozzle up front. It would spray the cleaner first and then wipe it out with a microfiber cleaning pad that is attached underneath the machine. It only has 2 wheels so 3rd point of contact is the mopping pad itself. While it's doing a great job on the hardwood floor – it is having a horrible time at the transitions between hardwood and tile (Kitchen area) and hardwood and tile just under the fireplace. While flooring surfaces are level – they do have a small transition which throws Brava sensors off. It either can't climb over a transition or is attempting it at 45 degree angle – goes about half way over but suddenly gets "scared" and reverses rapidly. That results in it unable to get back to it's charging station unfortunately and giving up on a job. I really hope it's just a software update fix as I really like the Brava. Overall – it's a great power couple – but I would probably upgrade to a higher model if your home "terrain" is not easy to navigate thru.xKing
## Setup There is a lot of packaging to go through, breakdown, and put into the recycling bin, but at least you know that everything is protected well. Once you have all the pieces out of the box, you’ll find a quick start card to help you set up the charging base and wake up your robot. You’ll then head to the iRobot app to finish setting up your robots and connect them to WiFi. You may need to let it charge for a while (and apply any needed updates), but after 30 minutes or so, your robot should be ready to clean. ## Performance ### Roomba i3+ If you’re upgrading from a previous Roomba (or other robotic vacuum) like I am, you may be surprised to find that the i3+ includes a “mapping” feature. You can either allow the vacuum to learn while it cleans, or you can send it on a specific mapping-only quest where it doesn’t clean but instead just ping-pongs around your house, keeping track of walls and other barriers. You can then see the map inside the app and section off the rooms and name them. You’ll probably see some hilarious shaped rooms in the app as the Roomba doesn’t know furniture from a wall, but you get a general idea of what the Roomba can “see” around your home. After you name the rooms, you can use the app to have Roomba clean only a certain room, which is handy if, for example, there is some dry cereal spilled in the kitchen and you don’t want the Roomba to clean the whole house just to get to the cereal. The Roomba i3+ seems to have some upgraded rollers and suction power as I notice it picking up more dirt than my previous Roomba. One of my favorite features in the self-emptying dust bin! When the Roomba returns to its base it (loudly) transfers the dirt from the robot into a bag inside of the base. So the Roomba can perform multiple cleaning jobs before the dust bin needs emptying. I rarely used Alexa with my previous Roomba because while I was bent over emptying the dust bin, it was just easier to hit the “Clean” button while I’m down there. However, now that this Roomba empties itself, I might use the Alexa integration more often! I rarely run the Roomba while I’m away from home as I like to be within earshot in case it gets tangled on a cord I forgot to pick up. However, I like that the app notifies you with a push notification if there is a problem. I also like that with the app, you can set the floors to automatically be mopped after you vacuum. It’s like the two robots are BFFs! ### Braava jet m6 Before cleaning, you’ll need to attach a cleaning pad to the bottom of the Roomba (either one of the included single-use pads, or the multi-use microfiber pad) and fill the inside tank with a mixture of the cleaning solution and water. This is my first mopping robot and it is quite interesting to watch it work. It will move forward in a straight line about 2 feet or so, and if there are no obstructions, it will back up, spray some liquid, and then drive the cleaning pad over it, going an extra foot or so while the cleaning pad is still wet. The Braava did a surprisingly good job maintaining the straight lines while it cleaned the floor and probably did a more thorough job mopping than I normally do. 😀 It struggled more under the table and chairs, but in all fairness, I’m able to move the chairs completely out of the way to mop under the table so a human definitely has an advantage there. The Braava also does a good job of not overstaurating a certain area and uses the little bit it sprayed on the floor to cover a wide area. You can adjust this in the settings in the app to have the Braava use more or less liquid while cleaning. I set it about in the middle and was pleased with how well it cleaned. I can even walk in the area it cleaned after about 10 minutes without getting my socks overly wet. The Braava has a very low clearance and does not go onto carpeted areas or even the mats under the doors. This also prevents it from spraying cleaning solution down the furnace grate on the floor which I appreciate! I’m also happy I did not have to buy additional virtual barriers that I would have to move between vacuuming and mopping. When it is done, you can throw the multi-use pad into your washing machine or hand wash it so it is ready for the next cleaning mission. ## Summary This combo pack of the Roomba i3+ and Braava jet m6 is a great tag team system for keeping your floors clean! I appreciate the mapping features and the fact that you can set the robots to work in tandem with the Roomba vacuuming first, then automatically handing it off to the Braava to mop. The self-emptying dust bin is also an appreciated upgrade for keeping the Roomba ready to clean at any time.TechnicallyWell

Reviews:
If this machine just had the climbing power advertised it would have been perfect. Unfortunately it now only cleans one room (instead of the whole apt) where I had to take out all of the carpets. Both carpets and door-stills are comfortably lower than 2 cm, but if there is anything non-sloped in the way the brush compartment *will* get stuck on it. Over 300.- to clean less than 15m^2 and replacing all my rugs, awesome. It also quite aggressively bumps into everything it finds on the floor, including its own charging station. Had to tape it down. Thanks to the mop function it does keep its one room exceptionally clean though, it's even low enough to keep the floor under my bed dust free, no complaints there.
It's very good on hardwood and rugs, has no issues like other brands climbs on rugs and etc. Roborock S6 isn't as good. Has sensor for carpet detection and this avoid to go over carpet or rug while in mopping mode. currently unique and very useful feature. soon will be avail in roborock S5 MAX, S6 doesn't have it. Multi floor feature – also useful. roborock s6 doesn't have it water dripping for mopping is controlled from the app, several levels – this is useful and also unique for 950 cons: 1. LDS, laser sensor isn't horizontal that is the issue as 950 can easily get under bed, but can't get out as from distance it doesn't see a way out and as result gets stuck under bed. sure this area can be marked as no go zone, but how to clean under bed in this case? 2. app doesn't have virtual walls, which are useful; roborock s5, s6 has it. 950 has just box as no go zone, which only horizontal or vertical 3. no map edit and no map selection. you can't create new map at will if any exists and it might overlap the area – 950 choose by itself, which isn't correct map for the area 4. 2 floors required 2 charging docks to work as expected, otherwise map selection isn't guaranteed 5. it's loud. roborock S6 a bit quieter 6. app doesn't have many features like manual navigation, map management, virtual walls I think that updates to firmware and app software can address current issues and add missing features.mikek75310
Do not buy Ecovacs 950 ozmo. The life of product is not more than 8 months. All of its sensing system totally fail. The support team is sitting somewhere in Malaysia. Thet can not resolve issue bcos there are no service center in india.
3 month or more it takes for customer care fix problems in your machine. How are u going to clean your house for that period. Totally non sense to buy this product. Not worth it.
Once the sensor has issues. Your machine investment is totally wasted. Bcos it's been 3 months now , I am still waiting to get my machine fixed. Pathetics customer service, I can gurantee youJai Shaw

Reviews:
I have nothing but praise for this robot vacuum. I’ve had several robots over the last few years, and this one addresses my two major complaints about them. But first, setup was easy. The unit is already assembled when it comes out of the box. Just connect the power cord to the charging base, plug it in, and set the vacuum on the base to charge. While it’s charging, download the NeatO app, run it, and the rest of the setup is straightforward. The app first locates and pairs with the robot, it then checks for and downloads if needed any firmware updates, and then you’re ready to go. Mine did require a software update, and that took about 15 minutes to complete. The unit does come partly charged, but it recommends that you let it fully charge before first use, a process, the manual says, that can take up to three hours. Mine was about 80% charged out of the box, and during the time I was setting up the app on my phone, the charge increased to about 85%. I was very interested to see how the robot would do, so I figured 85% was enough to try it out, so I let it rip. The robot did a great job vacuuming our living room, kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large closet, and two hallways, all on the same battery charge, which dropped to only about 50% by the end of the cleaning. We have all-tile floors, and the vacuum works well on these. We have no carpeted rooms, so I could not evaluate its performance on carpeting. As I said earlier, this robot addresses two long-standing problems I have with robot vacuums. First, it is NOT round! By definition, a round robot vaccum cannot get into square corners. So, with round vacuums, you’re always left with a little more clean-up to do after the robot finishes. This robot, by contrast, is shaped like a half-circle, and the flat side is the forward side. So it can drive itself right into square corners and pick up all the dust and dirt. Why other robot vacuum manufacturers don’t adopt a non-round shape, I don’t know. It seems like a no-brainer to me. The other advantage of this robot is that it has a very large dust collector. With my previous robots, I had to manually pause them two or three times during a cleaning operation to empty the dust trap, but not with the Neato. The trap is large enough to hold everything my house could throw at it, and we have two cats contributing to the dust/hair burden as well. Like most of these robot vacuums nowadays, this one can be programmed to do just one room or to avoid certain areas of the house and so forth. All of that is nice, but, to me, what matters most is actual cleaning. As I said, this did that task well, and the added advantages of its semi-circle shape and large dust bin put it over the top. Highly recommended.Dan292
When I received my Neato D9 I was excited to get it set up and running. It mapped out my house as it started its first cleaning cycle. It seemed to find some markers to indicate a room and finished cleaning each "room" before moving on to the next section. I was a little frustrated that I couldn't see a map of its progress as it was built, and when it finished, the map was blurry or distorted based on wheel slippage that happened because the raised portion would get stuck under the cabinets on a few occasions. I removed one star for that. While the rooms were not square, it did seem to get to every point of the floor as expected, but one thing surprised me that I'd never thought about before. While going through the kitchen, it recognized the raised portion of the standing mats in front of the sink. After it finished doing the regular back and forth in the kitchen, it went back to the mats and hit them from direct paths to get a better clean around them. Every robotic vacuum we've used in the past has not even recognized them as an area that needed more attention to detail, so I added a star for that. The scheduling function works as intended, and it hasn't run out of battery in the middle of cleaning yet, but I'll just assume it would find it's charging station before that were to happen. It is a little tricky adding the no-go zones with a map that's not squared up, but I think it works well enough. I'm sure the map will square up better with more cleaning sessions. Cleaning out the filter is fairly simple. Just need to remember that this has a much smaller bin than one that you push, so it will need to be cleaned out quite frequently.BrandonKfromHouston
The newest generations of robotic cleaners are a lot better than the original breakthrough robot cleaning devices, and they cost a lot less. If you tried the older ones and maybe were less than thrilled, read on, because you will find this unit to be fantastic. The NEATO D9 is an example of an advanced cleaner with WiFi connectivity and simple installation and control. I gave it five tests and it never got stuck. The old cleaning robots often got stuck in various ways. You do have to keep the robot away from electrical cords. It makes sense that wires and strings laying on the floor will need to be removed. You can also simply block the robot from objects you don’t want it near – very easily. This unit uses laser technology to ‘see’ where it is going and can not only bump and change direction but it also has something called ‘cliff detection’ so it won’t fall down stairs. You can run it in complete darkness since it will see with the lasers. I found the NEATO D9 was very agile – for example it will bump a rocker recliner and know to adjust its route. This sophisticated sensing can prevent situations where it might get stuck under the edge of the recliner if it pushed too hard to sense the obstruction. Tip of the cap to the engineers that designed this marvel. The robot cleaned 600 square feet in about 1 hour, picking up lots of dust and hair into its dustbin on what I thought was already a clean floor. My area included carpet and vinyl planking areas. The vinyl area seemed to look polished – nice. You are best served to install the MyNeato app on your cell phone. You can however, control the device from the phone or the buttons on top of the device. Charge it up and let it clean. Although I stayed close the first time it cleaned, after that I was confident I could go in the garage and work and it would be fine all by itself. When it is done, it will remember how to return to its charging dock and dock itself. One very important feature is the mapping. One benefit of the mapping is that when you return and find the device docked, you can look on your cell phone and see the map of the coverage. If you have a kitchen island you’ll see how it went around the island for example. Now you will know if it missed an area – which it never did – wonderful. You can set the device to run in eco or turbo mode which has more suction and will affect your run time. You also get the option of Extra Care navigation which will cause the device to move more gently around more delicate furniture etc. If you want more programming options you can create schedules and floor maps that may include no-go zones. Very powerful and useful for those who need these features. One point that is in the instructions but not emphasized is that you can turn the robot off by holding the ‘Start’ button for a few seconds. This will come in handy if you go off on vacation and don’t want the unit to run. I highly recommend this well designed, rugged and very useful robot cleaner.RalphHenry

Reviews:
While the vaccine has its weaknesses it cleans better than we did before we purchased it. We have 5 carpets with tassels or fringes. The Rumba loves to get caught on these and runs till the battery runs out. So we move the smaller carpets and the 16 X 20 silk carpet is adjusted so the Rumba can not clean it. We simply turn the edges over so the machine can not climb on it. Then we vaccine that rug the old fashioned way. The filter works so well it is hard to believe. We ran the Rumba all over the house and left for a week long trip. When we got home we ran the Rumba again and it picked up the dust. The filter was clean except for a bunch of dust. The product was cranky when trying to hook it up to the app. Since I have to move it between 3 levels of the house I just don't bother with the app. Fortunately I am still able to get up and walk to the device and push a button. I do not need to depend on Google or Alexa. The bad reviews I read were from a bunch of people with unrealistic expectations. As an aside the vaccine does not actually learn your house because when you use it again it has to learn it again. But it does remember where it left off if it needs to go home to recharge and then it starts where it left off.lukeman5433
These robots are useless after a year. The first year I had it, it worked really well. I maintained it, cleaned it, and charged it regularly. Before the first year was up, I filed the warranty because it stopped picking up anything. Now, a year later, its repeating the same thing but iRobot was very comfortable telling me to spend a minimum of $110 to repair the useless hunk of metal and plastic. Or the other option was to spend $200 to buy the lower end models. For something that initially cost me $350, this should last me as long as a Dyson but its a complete waste of money. I also got this because I have severe allergies so if I dont regularly vacuum daily, I get allergy attacks. I thought this would address but instead, I just ended up wasting my time. Im very disappointed that as a responsible user who put trust in something as expensive as this product, my whole investment went down the drain in less than 2 years. Ill be buying a regular vacuum now, they night be susceptible to the same breakdowns but theyre cheaper and pick up a lot more dust and particles.epics46
This purchase was to replace an original 960 bought new from iRobot when it was a flagship model. I am reviewing the second, replacement for the refurbished 960 I purchased from the eBay store. The first one was so bad and had so many faults and problems including not being able to dock that I requested a refund the next day. I gave it a second chance and ordered another one while waiting for the return and refund. It is maybe only 40% defective, but it will function and dock. It will not stop cleaning and return to the base as programmed for bin emptying until the extractor discharge shoot is full and dumps on the floor requiring hand clean out each time. It is incapable of driving over any throw rug or carpet runner without getting it pulled into the extractor rollers and hanging it up, it lacks the intelligence to free it's self from these obstacles like the original did.tgblair

Love it so much! The look is very stylish and modern. Powerful suction which is enough for daily cleaning. It also can work on both hardfloor and low carpet perfectly. App control, remote control and alexa voice control, it is a budget machine for a family!proscenic_outlet
13. Roborock E4 Mop Robot Vacuum And Mop Cleaner, Internal Route Plan With 2000pa Strong Suction, 200min Runtime, Carpet Boost, App Total Control, Ideal
Product Details:
Introducing the roborock e4 mop robot vacuum and mop cleaner, the perfect solution for your house, and the ultimate balance between quality and price. this vacuum has inertial navigation (electric eye+dual gyroscope), and the best vacuum suction. you can use the app to adjust the floor type and the cleaning mode. if you have carpets, the roborock e4 vacuum cleaner will protect them. comparing to the normal e4, this model includes also the mopping feature.
Reviews:
The robot works really well and is easy to use. The mop is good if you want a light clean since no soap can be used. I like that the dust bin is large and holds a good amount of dust and dirt before having to dispense. I am still learning to use the Mi Home app properly so it can map my home but overall I am happy with my purchase.V
Vacuum works great but it gets stuck under the fridge and dishwasher which I dont like. It senses the stairs so that was good. Didnt mop to good and it got stuck even more mopping than it does vacuuming. The app works ok but needs improvement with features and commands should have both for vacuum and mopping.queenvq
We were so excited about this being our first robot vacuum.. unfortunately it was a horrible experience. First it gets stock on everything, dishwasher , couch, chair. Secondly, it has no radar it runs into everything and then adjusts but doesn’t remember it for future cleans. Thirdly, the mop feature doesn’t work as efficient as it makes it seem. Then after we settled with all those problems it started shorting out just 20 days after purchase. Thankfully we can still return and get another brand. Not a quality product.Connor

Bump technology is basically randomly running around your house until it needs to recharge. Its constantly skipping spots and entire rooms. After some research I see that this exact unit is made by multiple manufacturers with huge price differences. Looks like I made a poor choice not going with a unit that actually maps the areahuskerinwa65

We recently bought this model for our house. I used it twice and found that it would go backwards and forwards along the same stretch of the hallway non-stop for over 20minutes and didn't from that patch of hallway. It has difficulty moving from room to room which made it pretty much useless given I needed to physically move it into each room for it to vacuum each different room. It may have been better in a slightly smaller house. I ended up exchanging it for the more expensive model which has mapping and this more expensive model is WAY better . Definitely worth spending the extra money on the model with mapping.anonymous
Absolutely love my robo vac. Makes my life so much easier. He finds his way back to his charging dock without an issue. This model doesn't have mapping features but I think he finds his way around just fine without it. The app tells you how many square metres have been cleaned and in what time. I empty it every day and use him 1-2 times daily. Loved it so much I've purchased my mum one for her birthday.anonymous
I have a dog who sheds hair if you so much as glance in his direction. My trusty Dyson does a great job, but its a bit of a pain to drag out. So I gifted myself this little helper. Now I did purchase a basic model, and have set my expectations accordingly. Ive learned to check that cords are out of the way (after losing a couple). The app allows me to schedule cleaning times, which is handy. The base model does not automatically empty the robot. Its also a bit dumb about returning to base when the battery is low. Usually when it announces a low battery I empty the dog hair and take it back to recharge. Otherwise I have to hunt it down to find where it landed – usually under a bed or couch. It also managed to trap itself in the bathroom, which was good for some giggles. It meets my main requirements, which is to manage the dog hair in between proper vacuuming. Im not game enough to try the mopping function as I dont know thats its going to accurately differentiate hard floors from carpet – I may try this out at some point, but its not a high priority.Anne

Reviews:
I have been using the Deboot Ozmo 920 since mid August. Admittedly, I was very skeptical when my husband brought the Deboot home as I have never used a robotic vacuum before. However, after using it for a few weeks, I have to admit that this little robotic vacuum is a definite time saver and I was surprised at how well it can clean my floors. I also appreciate the mopping features and it does a good job with no streaks on my hardwood floors. The features and price of the Deboot Ozmo 920 are top notch and work just as well if not better than other leading brands. The laser mapping and software work very well, and having the ability to setup virtual "no go" zones is a definite asset and allows you to dynamically set up zones while mapping which prevent it from getting tangled in cables behind furniture. The multi-floor feature also works well, and the robot has always been able to successfully identify which floor it is on and automatically chooses the appropriate map. Now that the additional charging station is available for purchase, I will likely buy this to avoid having to move the charger between floors. Overall, I have been very pleased with the Ozmo 920 and after showing friends and family, they have also expressed an interest in owning one.CatherineB
I first purchased the Ozmo 930 back in June, 2019. At first, I absolutely loved it. It did a wonderful jobbing mapping the layout of my house and cleaned the entire place in just about an hour with no issues. But about 6 weeks into owning it, it started having some issues. It would seem to get lost, just spinning around over the same spot without actually being physically stuck on anything. The mapping function no longer seemed to work, as it would say the cleaning was complete while leaving two entire rooms completely untouched. I originally purchased the vacuum on Overstock, and was required to go through Ecovacs to return it. At first, they were really difficult to work with, but in the end, they did accept the return and send me a new one. I received the new one in August and waited to review it to see how it did. Well, just like before, about 6 weeks into using it, I'm experiencing the same issues once more. Only now it's even worse. The battery will die before finishing the clean, which it never had that issue before. It only takes an hour to clean the place; the battery should last longer than that. Again, it gets stuck on nothing at all, appears to get lost and skips entire rooms. Just like before, I've done the troubleshooting. The sensors are clean. The vacuum is properly maintained. It just seems like the computer system in it stops working over time. This shouldn't happen for the price of this. I'm now going to request a return for a full refund, as I have no interest in trying a third vacuum from this company. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! UPDATE: In response to this review, Ecovacs offered an exchange to the upgraded Ozmo 920. I gave it a try and have found this one to have the same issues, only far worse. It moves around as if it really can't see where it is going. It claims to have finished the clean and returns to the charging dock after having completed half a room. My house has a very wide open layout, free from clutter and obstacles. There is no reason at all that it should be experiencing such difficulty. I sent a video to the company showing them what was happening and telling them that I am finished with their products and just want my money back. They responded telling me they would swap out my original vacuum so that I could return it for a refund from the place of purchase, and that I just needed to confirm my address. I did so and asked for the return shipping label so that I could send this one back to them and get the exchange going. They have never responded back. That was 9 days ago and I've emailed them twice since. This has been a huge waste of time/energy/money and I just want to be finished dealing with this company altogether.NicoleMCgm
Can’t seem to find the charging port after taking on and off line restarting to factory settings it still says bring my to charging port laser frequently says LDS malfunction
No idea why nothing is blocking speaking that laser guidance it protrudes off the to of the robot over a inch just enough to get caught under a table and it keeps getting stuck under the same location so you have to get up and remove from under the table robot will say check the driving wheels and the dust bin
Is small and not pet friendly I have two golden retriever pups. And hair gets stuck frequently
In the brushes and the drive wheels not worth
The money I just returned it back to Amazon
Going to look for one more dependablewilliam mackey

Bobsweep is definitely like a child and needs constant watch. He is like a child in there terrible twos, always needing watching to make sure they don’t damage anything. He has no clue where he is ever going, many times just going in circles and cleaning over the same area. He is not smart and takes a long time to return to his charging base. Bob is louder then expected and considering the high price, I would have expected more features and better hardware. For the deal of the day price, bob definitely works but not ever at the full price. After only one hour of use, bob already had surface scratches all over the top of the unit from going under the furniture and getting stuck and not moving away but would just return to the same spot again. The remote for bob is huge and outdated looking for todays times. Bob does a good job at getting the little crumbs and pet hair but I would not recommend for someone who wants a vacuum to clean when they are away. I would never trust this to clean when not home as I fear it would do something stupid or get stuck and rip the carpet or just go back and forth over the same spots.Reviewer2020
I have had bob for over a year now and in that time I have had the battery replaced once. Other than that I love bob. He cleans up pet hair very thoroughly and saves me the hassle of having to do it. HE does some times get stuck but that's either because he's the perfect height to go under counters or the fact I have lips going into or from the kitchen. Haven't used the mop feature but his brushes work well. Sometimes he slams into objects but that's to be expected. He isn't perfect but definitely does a good job cleaning up pet hair. Customer service was great when I had to get the battery replaced. No complaints other than he gets stuck and sometimes can't find his charger.sweatyyetti
I've had Bob about 2 months now and i do not recommend this product. Bob has a programmable remote, but he only works when he feels like it, i have him programmed to run every afternoon Monday- Friday and he has yet to work everyday. You need to be home when he is running because he will get stuck and need redirected. Bob has no pattern, and I swear everytime he sees a pile of cat fur on the ground he turns away from it. Also he cannot get over even the slightest carpet hump. Bob never finds his way back to his charging port and he cannot even sweep my entire living room on one charge (about 45 minutes). Bob is also loud like a regular vaccuum, so he cannot run in the middle of the night for he would wake you up. Overall I do not recommend this product.sugarsnap39

The iLife Robot is great. I gets underneath areas that are hard for me to clean. It usually takes 2 charges to clean the entire house so the battery life is pretty good. It’s easy to clean up too. Highly recommend. Even the pup approves!amanda.k
I love this vacuum. It doesn't find its way back home but it works miracles hands down picking up dog hair. I have seven Chihuahua's life was a nightmare with trying to keep up with the dog hair not any more. I run it every morning while I'm getting ready for work and then when I get home 12 hrs late from work. Its the best.Gwen
We call this little worker DJ Beetle! (get it… eh eh?? maybe not lol) He keeps our house looking amazing considering we have two dogs and a now 13 month old. It is easy to set up and easy to get a specific time set so it will automatically do it itself. What we do not like about it is that it does tend to get stuck sometimes and has some weird obsession with getting stuck in our bathroom and closing the door.. However, when the battery starts to die or it is done it's task of rocking the house it will return to base till his next mission. The downside to him in terms of cleaning is he is not very good at taking dog hair off low pile carpeting but considering he takes about 1 hour worth of cleaning off my plate everyday he has earned his keep in the house lol!tori.a

The S9 is my second robovac (my first was a Eufy for my bedroom), and I have to say that I’m extremely satisfied. I put the S9 downstairs and it cleans my entire first floor. The 360 S9 does it all – it mops and vacuums. Performance-wise, the robovac has strong cleaning and impressive battery life. The robot vacuum has excellent mapping technology, supports scheduling, and can create virtual boundaries easily.I’ve had the S9 since March 2022, and it’s been very easy and low-maintenance. I make sure to empty the bin and refill the water daily. I didn’t realize how great having your floors mopped was. My home is spotless and I receive a lot of compliments when I have guests over.Cynthia N.
After 2 months the vacuum cleaner stopped mopping and water tank sensor seemed to be broken as it repeated water insufficient. I’m trying to return the item 3 months unsuccessfully, as the item is being sold by the 3rd party. Tens of emails but no resolution. I still cannot return not working vacuum cleanerTetyana
I took the advice of another reviewer and followers only the instructions in the vacuum itself. Found the instructions to be very easy. Almost so easy that I rechecked everything before finally pressing the power button to let the vacuum on it’s way. I love the little voice on the vacuum, so cute. Also the remote is so convenient. I plan to use some Velcro to put the remote in an easily accessible area.William A.

Reviews:
I've had a few robot vacuums over the past few years. I've tried the big names like Neato D-Vacs / Roombas ($400-$700 range) and I found that while they had great suction power and capacity, their navigation abilities made them useless. All the cleaning power in the world means nothing if your robot vacuum never makes it back to it's base to charge and you're stuck hunting for it to carry it home everyday. I got this Eufy G30 Verge on a special buy price of $169 down from the usual $350, and it absolutely blows all of the other robot vacuums I've tried out of the water. It's very deceiving when you first fire it up since it's extremely thin and makes very little noise. I actually tried feeding it a couple dust bunnies to make sure it was on because it was so quiet. Despite this, 30mins into letting it map my house, I had to empty the dust bin because it was full….. with dust and hair (as seen in the pic)…. that was still on my floor without me being able to see it after manually vacuuming the day before. It ran for about an hour and generated a full map of my 1000 square foot condo before heading back directly to it's dock to charge. You can watch it generate the map using the app, and you can see that it uses that map to navigate your home perfectly. It moved in clean lines and then shot to areas of the condo that had missing boundaries on the map to fill in the data. Its very clear watching this bot move that it's far more intelligent than non-mapping bots, especially those that just bump around forever. SUMMARY The compact and stylish Eufy G30 Verge is the king of navigating homes and always making it back to its dock. While it may lack the power and capacity of some of it's larger robot vacuum rivals such as the Neato D-Bot or Samsung models, it is more than capable of ridding your low-pile carpet and hard floors of hair and dust. Although I wouldn't recommend this for homes with operating areas larger than 1000 square feet or large levels of hair and debris like food, this is the perfect bot vac for areas less than 1000 square feet that is generally clean but you would like to maintain. This isn't a miracle worker that can deep clean your floors, but with a price tag of under $200 it's an absolute steal.Alex
First the pros: We have roughly 1600sq ft downstairs of which this vacuum was able to identify 1200sq ft and clean it accurately before the battery ran out. The mapping feature is GREAT and I was very impressed with how well the G30 navigated all of our furniture and what I thought were impassible spaces. I thought for sure the vacuum wouldn't navigate between kitchen chairs and under the very tight spaces of our couches and ottoman, but it handled it with ease. When the vacuum did get pinched, it found its way out and I didn't have to intervene. I am very impressed how far these have come since the first days of the iRobot models. The vacuum sneaks into areas and grabs dust bunnies, hair and particles that your average upright vacuum will miss. It's no joke. It's almost works too well, to the point the bin will fill up quickly if you're not careful. I note this below under the cons. For hardwoods, this vacuum works very efficient and effectively. There are some carpet runners and mats that got caught up in the rotors but it still managed to get free and recover that section of flooring. I rarely noticed the vacuum covering the same section of flooring twice, so trust in the vacuum even if you believe it hasn't covered a section of house, that it WILL return to map the walls. The updated navigation algorithms are excellent. The Cons: We have a couple of pets and they shed constantly. This was our main motivation for getting a robovac. Before the first run through our house, we did a cursory sweep of the big areas of our house. Even with the larger dust bin, I had to empty the container after ~600sq ft and it was full. I wish this model would notify you when the bin was full via an optical sensor or something. The good news is the bin what chucked full of hair and loose debris that I missed, but know that the bin will fill up quickly within several hundred sq ft. The best thing is to keep the vacuum on a regular schedule to minimize how full the bin will get between cleanings, especially if you have pets. Although the battery will cover roughly 1200 sq ft without stopping, the battery takes several hours between charges. I think that's normal, but it took me off guard and it prevents you from running the vacuum again immediately following a full cleaning. Rugs, cords and mats will get caught up in the wheels if they're not heavy or are not taped down. Bath rugs, toilet skirts, kitchen mats and other small rugs will fold up under the vacuum. I'd recommend getting some double-sided rug tape from Home Depot/Lowes before running the vacuum. Either that, or identify which rugs were re-located by the vacuum after the first run and act accordingly. You won't need to intervene when it folds up a rug, but you will need to reset the rug once the Eufy completes its run. This might not be a con, but it completed our 1200sq ft downstairs in roughly 2.5 hours before the battery ran out and it still had a couple of areas left to complete, so prepare accordingly. After the battery recharges, (roughly 3.5 hours later) it resumes where it left on the original map to complete the house. The vacuum is VERY thorough, but this takes time to complete. Overall, this is a great little vacuum and the included boundary strips are handy. We have an elevated bed with soft textiles stored underneath, so the included footage was just enough to outline our king sized bed. We didn't want to risk the vacuum tearing up or getting stuck on the items under the bed. I debated getting the regular G30 but I'd recommend the Edge simply for the magnetic strips. They are handy and you'll never know when you need them or identify an area off-limits for the vacuum.
I usually love the brand, Eufy. I have had two now. My first one is the first edition and it lasted a few years before it started to be really loud. It still sucked (literally sucked, not it was bad, sucked), but was too loud. So, I bought this one to replace my old one. I put my old one upstairs and kept this one downstairs. First off, it was a fantastic robot. It sucked everything up really well! It was really quiet and really fast. I keep really good care of everything I own. So, I regularly cleaned the filter and cleaned the wheels and did maintenance on to keep it going good. The warranty ran out at 12 months and at 13-14 months my little robot stopped sucking as well and became really loud. I contacted the Eufy corporate office and they told me a bunch of things to do to help the robot. So, I cleaned everything again and the problem stayed the same. I replied again and they offered me a discount. I explained that I think I might have a faulty one because my other one has lasted for years. Also, I did not want to buy another one for it to stop working at 13 months. They then offered a replacement kit, which contained brushes. I already had bought brand new brushes and I knew that this was not the problem. It stopped sucking up debris, so brushes were not what I needed. I explained all of this to them and they said that there warranty is for 12 months and I can honor the discount and that is all they can do. They and I were very polite to each other, but we just do not agree. I normally only review if an item was good, but I just did not want someone else to buy this and have it not work one to two months after the warranty runs out.CJ
