This hot air brush works well for fine hair as it doesn’t get super hot. I use it on the low heat and low speed settings, but even the high heat setting doesn’t get too terribly hot that it’s going to fry my fine hair off. However, if you have thicker or course hair you might find it doesn’t give off enough heat to hold a style. The revlon one is really popular and may work better for thicker courser hair, but gets way too hot for delicate fine hair in my opinionZoey
My first time owning or using the fantastic little tool. I used the smaller barrel as my hair is short and tends to frizz. Was able to dry and style all at the same time. Hair came out impressive. I use the larger barrel on my granddaughter’s long beautiful thick thick hair. Comes out beautiful. Very easy to use and control this styler. We both get wonderful results that are quick and easy. I’ve only used it twice and feel that the ‘High’ setting isn’t hot enough. I need more time to have it work for me. I need to get used to it. Play with it. You are rushing me for an opinion!!! Before I used a round brush and regular hairdryer, which took 2 hands. I expected this one to only require my right hand. I found myself somehow using 2 hands. Give me more time, please.

Based on the most recent reviews, I decided to replace my Drybar brush for this one. I’ve had this brush for probably about a month now and the bristles are all either totally bent or falling off. I’m gentle when I blow dry…but one of the first thoughts I had when this brush arrived was how weak the bristles appeared. One thing I do like about the brush is how nice it is to hold in my hands. BEST BRUSH TO EVER EXIST! If you do not own this brush/comb wtv you wanna call it out your phone down and go buy it. I’ve always had supper smooth and tangle free hair until I decided to do balayage (bleach). Now as much as I LOVE my new bleached hair I regretted it cause my hair was literally a birds nest after the shower. I went from tangle free no knots to a complete mess. I bought every leave in conditioner and smoother you can find as well as brush. I tried the wet brush which is said to be perfect for knots… nothing worked. I was stuck between going back to my natural or  ripping out half my hair after each shower. Until I discovered this brush!!! You NEED THIS it is amazing! I love this brush – I really must because I'm buying my fourth one. It's great for my pretty normal slightly wavy hair – detangles well, does a great job blow drying, etc. My 6 year old insists this is the only brush I use on her fine hair because "it doesn't hurt". My husband even loved on his super thick wavy hair. BUT. The hubby's hair killed the first brush in less than 3 weeks – the bottom right corner of the paddle snapped making it pretty tough to use. The second one lasted me a few months, but the third one snapped after trying to detangle my daughter's hair (pool hair is awful). So I'm about to order my fourth one. I am not someone who enjoys the process of getting “presentable”. I just want to look reasonably put together without standing in front of the mirror for an hour. I would only blow dry my hair when I had to get fancy, and even then, I would just roughly blow dry my hair upside down, then finish with a small hot air brush. It didn’t look great, but it was fine. I bought this thing on whim after watching a YouTube review and I’m in looooove. It’s chonky, but it’s really light, which is awesome, because my muscles get fatigued quickly and using a regular dryer and brush was kind of exhausting by the end. I have long, fine, straight hair and I just work in 3rds from the bottom up, and all my hair is fully dry, super straight, and shockingly smooth in less than 20 minutes. Maybe way less, I haven’t actually timed it. It gets hot enough to dry my hair fast AF, but not enough to make my head sweaty or hurt my scalp when I’m at the roots because of the bristle length. (Don’t get me wrong, the barrel will definitely burn your finger a lil bit if your hand slips, but that’s just hot tools in general.) This thing is a game changer for me. Maybe even a HG. Yeah, it is. I love it. My only concern is with maintenance/cleaning. I use the tail of a comb to pull off the loose hairs around the barrel after each use, but I noticed that the little nubby short bristles seem to have some product buildup where they come out of the barrel. I’m not sure if that will affect performance long term or if there’s anything I can do about it, but maybe CS can answer that? Anyway, if you’re on the fence, get this, it’s the best.AMadea S.
This is definitely not my favorite INH item. I really think this piece of work isn't for fine hair like mine. The brush feels wayyy too big for my hand and the little tips from the brush are actually falling apart easily so the plastic scratches my head. The item itself is not heavy at all but I have trouble gripping while I brush my hair. I wouldn't recommend this big brush to anyone with fine to thin hair. It does take me a good 10 minutes struggling to brush my hair and if you have small hands like me, you'll be wacking your head a little bit. I am slightly disappointed that it wasn't my kind of blow dryer brush and wished I could have sent it back. I barely use it so it was kind of a waste of money for me. Again, this might just not be for me because of the texture of my hair. But 6/10 INH.
I loved this tool. Then it randomly stopped working. Was outside of the year warranty and the company said there was nothing they could do other than offer me 25% discount code for a new purchase. To clarify I bought this tool Nov 30, 2021 and it stopped working Jan 4, 2022. So I had it for a year 1 month and 5 days when it stopped working- NOT grossly outside the warranty. I could understand them saying no if had been 2 years but I was barely over warranty. For the price, I just don't think it's worth it. There are cheaper alternatives on the market with similar specs to this. I can't speak to performance pf other brands blowout brushes, but my cheap af target straightener lasted me like 5 years before crapping out. I am gentle with my tools- I actually kept the box and always stored it in there. Unless you can buy this on sale I don't recommend at this price, especially cause you very well may be needing to repurchase a replacement in a year or less. Additionally I really think they delete negative reviews. When I google this tool it has less stars but when I click on reviews here the lowest I see is four stars. This is my HONEST review- did I love the results of this product? Yes it is easy to use and offers a great blowout, but be wary on it's shelf life. It may be worth it to check out another brand instead. I'm off to try the Revlon– if I wind up thinking INH is better I will come back and eat my words. Also there is a learning curve with blowout brushes for newbs. My advice- only use on damp or almost dry hair- not sopping wet. Do your hair in small sections- believe me you'll save time in the long run. And if you want more volume hold the brush vertically as you twist the barrel and horizontally out beside your head. As a 3c natural hair girl, I am always looking for fun products to straighten my hair and give it some curls that aren't as tight as my natural ones. I was very excited to try this out when I saw it included a round brush. First of all, the space between the two plates isn't very wide, and I am used to it being wide as it is on my other flat irons. That threw me off a little bit. Second, there is nothing that allows you to change the heat setting and because my hair is course, it requires a little more heat to get it straight. With this iron, I was only able to get a sort of puffy straight hair with some frizzy curls. I really liked the easy to use round brush though. I usually don't use one myself when I'm doing my hair, but this one went through easily. I did have a little bit of trouble with making a curl with the brush part at first, but I eventually got it. Also, it takes a little while to heat up. I think this is a good product, maybe just not for my hair type. I would recommend it to friends that have looser hair types. When I received this tool I was a little skeptical with the 4 in 1 feature but after daily use, I will say that I prefer this one to the Amika Strand Perfect Ceramic Styler that I received in my FabFitFun box and now I use the Instyler Max daily. I like to wash my hair every other day and what I really like about the Instyler is that it really does add volume when you place it under your hair close to the roots like the instructions say. It's great for me because My hair loses its volume easily. I also really like the lights that turn on, and how quickly it heats up. I have used this as a strighener and as a volumizer. I have not tired to curl my hair as I usually wear it straight. It straightens quickly and it keeps my hair feeling smooth and soft. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that because it's not very thin, it's hard to straighten the baby hairs around my face and that's very important to me. The Instyler max has cut the time it takes to do my hair in half. I can straighten, curl and give my thin hair the extra volume I have been seaching for endlessly. I love this brand though it is a bit pricey! The brush itself is super lightweight, so when I’m blowing out my hair it’s easy to roll it tightly around the barrel and then rest it on my head instead of having to physically hold it up while trying to lock in alight curl. I was disappointed in the Ibiza EX 4 brush. It was very well reviewed, but it does not grab the hair firmly. I use it to brush my hair, but the bristles dont grab. I actually thought this brush was really wonderful to use!! the bristles aren't too harsh on my hair and I found that I was easily able to brush my hair out without it pulling super hard on my hair. I love the size as well as it isn't super huge to the point where it isn't useful, but not super small where I have to work in endless sections! find that this brush can be used for both styling and detangling on both wet and dry hair and I haven't noticed a lot of breakage either. I think the bristles on this brush are perfect and perfectly spread apart so I don't have to worry about hair getting snagged, but also not too stiff where it hurts to brush. I truly enjoy this product and for it's price it is definitely worth the money!! I would recommend for basically any hair type and anyone who is looking for a brush that would easily detangle and style without any hassle whatsoever. I also think that they come in a lot of cute colors and are really high quality and aren't damaged while traveling either.

I have tried many round brushes and am very picky, some glide through my hair to easily, some get way to hot, and some even rip my hair because the bristles are not sturdy and break easily. So needless to say I was very excited to try the KareCo Round brush. I am absolutely obsessed with their Tangle Buster Brush and their Tangle Buster Styler Brush, these two brushes are the holy grail of styling tools. Upon learning about this brush I was fascinated by the fact that all of their round brushes have a ventilated dome which allows air to flow through the entire brush making your blow dry time faster meaning less damage to your hair! I have thick curly hair and unfortunately as I began using this brush with my blow dryer I realized that the bristles where so far apart on the brush that I was not getting the tension I am used to and love with a mixed bristle brush. I felt that I had to try harder to keep my hair from slipping through as I blow dried. I did love the non slip grip handle on the brush, my biggest pet peeve is when my hair gets caught in between the handle and the brush head. This brush definitely did not do that! I love this brand so much and would recommend this brush to someone who does not have super thick hair. It's such a great concept and I really hope KareCo comes out with a round brush that has both nylon and Boar Bristles for those of us with thicker hair
The Kareco Ionic Thermal Round Brush is a must have if you heat treat or blow out your hair. This brush is quite large which is great for those big, beautiful curls. It also works very well if you are looking for perfectly straight, frizz-free hair. The dome-shaped barrel allows for better air flow which results in faster drying. It is impressive how much quicker I noticed that my hair dried when using my blow dryer and it made a huge difference in my hair’s shine and moisture. It didn’t seem to catch or frizz up like it does with many other round brushes. Instead, I was able to keep easily brushing through my hair without feeling those usual tangles. I have very long hair and I was blown away by how well it really worked for my hair. Most brushes can’t handle all this length but the Kareco Ionic made my hair feel like a breeze to brush through. This brush is absolutely horrible. The 2nd time I used this brush the bristles melted and took a chunk of my hair. Not only tha,t the bristles are plastic and easily bend when brushing. I'm more frustrated that my hair was melted off! Don't buy and should be removed from the shelf.
This brush is so great! I love the way it curves to fit my head. And the brushes feel so good against the scalp. It feels very relaxing, like a scalp massager. The vents also help the hair dry faster by letting air pass through while blow drying. You can’t really use the tension method with this type of brush as it does not grip the hair and hold it taut enough for that. But it is a wonderful brush to have in your collection. Has a ln awesome handle/grip too. Very comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommend.
I bought this brush last year, along with another Ion hair brush, because Sally Beauty was having a BOGO promotion… SO GLAD I GOT IT! Keeps my hair frizz free and tangle-free while drying, and it's super easy to use. I have used it regularly for a year now, and I plan on buying another one for my mom. She has also used it and keeps asking me where I bought it. We have very different hair types, and both think the brush is amazing!

I have the original brush dryer and while I love it, it was not as useful on shorter hair. I was so excited when this smaller version was introduced. I bought it immediately. Wow! Just used this styler dryer and I'm a huge fan. I have thick, course, color treated hair and the drying time was less than half of what My normal round brush/blow dryer regiment is. While I touched up the style with a curling iron to give it holding power I'm not sure I needed to. My hair was shiny and smooth. I did use a good heat protectant and a low setting. It was easier to use on my layers that were partially dry. I had to do two pass-throughs on the wetter hair.DOSTL
This item is so new at ULTA that I had to ask for it from an associate and she said that she found them still in the original shipping box…but I was determined to have this and she was so nice to find it for me. Firstly, for my thinner, mid-length hair, this is 10x better than the original one-step brush to get volume in my hair. And secondly, the lighter and smaller stature of the unit itself does nothing to the power and heat it produces. This and the original one-step are virtually the same in those areas. Now, my only issue with this is the structure of this brush head compared to the original one-step. This one is built more like a Velcro hair roller rather than an actual hair brush. It's very difficult for it to pick up hair on its own without needing assistance in pressure for it to grab hair like a typical brush would. And that's where the original one-step succeeds with the structure of its bristles over this unit. Overall, I'm ecstatic that there is now a smaller version for us thin and short-haired girls. This thing is flimsy plastic and won’t work well unless you have very thin, fine, short hair probably—and even then I can’t be sure. The heat and the air flow is low, there’s no options to choose from. I bought it to style my bangs and maybe help dry my hair faster, but it barely did the job. You could get a decent round brush and a travel dryer at Sally for the same price and get better results. I recommend waiting for the hot shot tools volumizer brush dryer to go on sale, it’s double the price but the results are about 200% better. Don’t waste your money on this.Kathleen
I looked for a long time for an airbrush with narrow diameter to get some curls when drying. This does it. Someone has complained that it does not put out enough heat to dry fast. Dryer was very low even on the high setting. I can dry my hair faster with my regular dryer and round brush. This had no power. My hair is wavey frizzy. Medium length. Not thick. I would like to use an analogy to describe this product: This product is like a pair of tweezers. You could use only tweezers to maintain your eyebrows and have great brows. Anyone can use tweezers, they are simple to use and precise, but it will take you more time to maintain your brows. Using wax or other methods involves more tools and more skills, but it can be much faster and get the same result. In summary, the blowdryer feature on this thing is so wimpy. It takes longer to blow-dry my hair with this tool, but my hair looks silkier and smoother because I lack the skills to blow dry my hair properly using a traditional blowdryer and a round brush. I will continue to use this tool, but I hope they develop a more high powered version soon because I don't like how long it takes to dry the hair.Sette
If you are like me and have never been so great at maneuvering a hair dryer and roundbrush for at-home blowouts, I really highly recommend this! I have a lot of thin, wavy hair that gets very puffy and has very inconsistent texture. This thing makes it incredibly smooth with much lower heat than a curling or straightening iron. It also makes it really easy to build volume, swoop hair a certain direction etc. My ONLY complaint is that the part of the barrel that your hand wraps around is very wide in diameter. My hands are on the small side, and it does make my hand tired and make it a little harder to use than if it was thinner. But it's lightweight and does the job of two tools in one, so it's something I can deal with! Love this thing! Amazing for the price! I usually HATE styling my difficult hair but could see this being an every day kind of tool because it is so easy to use. One small recommendation – it's less powerful than a "real" hair dryer, so dry your hair until it's just barely holding any moisture first for the fastest results.Emily

Tried this on my hair and my daughters hair. My hair is thin with body, medium length and holds a curl well. But this made it fall flat with very little definition. My daughters hair is long, very thick, and holds a curl well. This just made the ends curl, left it almost staticky and flat with almost no definition except for on the ends. The brush gets dirty quickly if you have any product in your hair at all, and you need product to get any kind of style at all, but that still didn’t work for us either way. I have very coily hair and this dryer makes my hair really easy to dry. The cushion brush keeps things straight and free of tangles. I think the round brush actually gets things even more smooth but sometimes I don’t need the extra volume. I have used the third brush yet. It’s a little intimidating but I’ll get around to it. Also something I like about the dryer is that it’s very light.
