I've tried several of these, and this one is the best of them. It dries my thick, coarse hair quickly. Usually I let it air dry, while doing makeup, getting dressed, etc. Sometimes doing a quick rough dry with my regular blow dry with my regular hair dryer, but honestly I think this probably isn't even necessary, as far as for time sake. It may be quicker not to rough dry first. Mostly I do that just to try to minimize heat damage, because this does get pretty hot. This doesn't seem to do any damage, though, and makes my hair look so soft and smooth and healthy looking! I like the smaller barrel. I wanted to be able to create some wave at the ends with it, and I can do it to some extent, with the right technique. I couldn't with the bigger ones I've tried. My hair is pretty long with a lot layers. Overall I love this tool, and recommend it over most others of this nature, and it's a great price too!Nikki
Was going back and forth between this one and the Revlon one. After watching some YouTube reviews picked this one and glad I did. It does not disappoint! I have thick, long (mid back) wavy hair. I was able to blow dry and style a soaking wet head, right out of the shower, in 26 mins. I usually let me hair air dry first so excited to use it again knowing I can probably get it down to 15 mins. I will add, this movement to dry my hair is quick for me because I have been round brush drying my hair for years so there may be a learning curve for others. I also don't expect pin straight from always using a round brush so this does have some body and flow which I like. But you could quickly run a straightener through at the end if you like that look. I saw people stating it gets hot but that makes sense, it should. The barrel is ceramic just like a curling iron so it will get hot. Keep you hands on the cool tip and don't grab your hair right from it. Grab from the top of your hair, give it a second or switch to cool before changing sections of hair. Okay I cannot say enough great things about this brush.. I am truly obsessed. My hair is slightly wavy without much shape or style when left to air dry. Prior to the brush, I would often blow dry and lightly straighten or attempt to blow it out with a round brush and blow dryer. This brush seriously changed my life. I could not believe how easy it was to use and to style my hair! I have found that I prefer to blow dry my hair a bit instead of using the brush on soaking hair because it has been saving time. I will say that I definitely recommend heat protectant and hair oil because if not used carefully, hair can be pulled out. I would suggest watching a video or tutorial depending on how you want to style your hair but go get this brush! I have been asked multiple times if I just got a hair cut because it looks that good! I also find that I really don't have to touch it up once I initially style my hair and the look has lasted me 3 days between washes without having to redo it. I have thick hair that's styled into a bob and I have been using a normal hairbrush to style my hair for the longest time. I finally ordered this hairbrush because I wasn't getting the results I wanted from a normal brush and I am so happy! I am actually able to "roll" my hair and it doesn't hurt! My hair doesn't tangle either when I use a rolling motion with this brush. It does heat up so you have to be careful but so far I haven't been burned or anything. The detachable parting tool is also a bonus that I enjoy. For reference, I bought the 1.3" brush and it's perfect for my above-shoulder length hair. If your hair is shorter and close to your jawline, I recommend buying the smaller sizes
I have never used a blow out brush so I was not sure how easy or hard this was going to be to use. This small round brush seemed to work really well for small sections of hair. I absolutely love the pin that is located inside the bottom of the brush. You pull this pin and you run it through sections of your hair to get nice even sections with less mess. I noticed this brush was great for my bangs and sides even though all of my hair is one length. It was great for these areas because it gave me lift and volume where I needed it the most. Some great points I found are this brush is its very lightweight which is super important since your arms up in the air for such a long period of time. The bristles even though kind of tough on the bare hand are very gentle on the scalp almost massaging. I loved that I noticed when using this my hair stayed straight longer and it has so much less frizz. I did notice that the barrel can get a bit hot when used for extended time. I’m a senior with fine lifeless hair that has never been able to hold any kind of hair clip. Also, as often happens with age it’s now thinning too. I keep my hair short and use the brush to style my hair when I’m drying it with my hairdryer. Naturally, it only takes a couple of nanoseconds for my hair to dry and the brush gives me a bit of lift which is all I expect. Spend the money and get the decent brush. Conair makes a lot of things I love and use, great value most of the time. I just scooped my wet hair up in this and Tangled it all up in there so that it was literally resting on top of my head. 40 minutes later and an entire bottle of leaving greasy conditioner I finally worked the brush loose with a pick comb. I have never had this with any other round blow dry brush ever. Here's a tip I found online if you ever get your brush in and it literally will not move at all, do a Google search for how to get a stuck brush out of your hair. Lord Have Mercy I thought I was going to have to cut out a swath of my hair. I tried it on almost dry hair and followed directions only using on the end and somehow it engulfed the entire swath of hair and I thought I would never get it out. The bristles are extremely hard and do not have any flexibility to them and will poke your skull and pull at your hair. Wow! I never thought a hairbrush would make a difference, but this round brush is so amazing! Gives my long, medium-fine hair volume and curl, AND 2nd day hair still looks styled the next day. I'm not a huge fan of using styling products, and with this brush, I don't feel like I need to. I just blow dry with my inexpensive $20 hair dryer and have fantastic results. As a 3c natural hair girl, I am always looking for fun products to straighten my hair and give it some curls that aren't as tight as my natural ones. I was very excited to try this out when I saw it included a round brush. First of all, the space between the two plates isn't very wide, and I am used to it being wide as it is on my other flat irons. That threw me off a little bit. Second, there is nothing that allows you to change the heat setting and because my hair is course, it requires a little more heat to get it straight. With this iron, I was only able to get a sort of puffy straight hair with some frizzy curls. I really liked the easy to use round brush though. I usually don't use one myself when I'm doing my hair, but this one went through easily. I did have a little bit of trouble with making a curl with the brush part at first, but I eventually got it. Also, it takes a little while to heat up. I think this is a good product, maybe just not for my hair type. I would recommend it to friends that have looser hair types. When I received this tool I was a little skeptical with the 4 in 1 feature but after daily use, I will say that I prefer this one to the Amika Strand Perfect Ceramic Styler that I received in my FabFitFun box and now I use the Instyler Max daily. I like to wash my hair every other day and what I really like about the Instyler is that it really does add volume when you place it under your hair close to the roots like the instructions say. It's great for me because My hair loses its volume easily. I also really like the lights that turn on, and how quickly it heats up. I have used this as a strighener and as a volumizer. I have not tired to curl my hair as I usually wear it straight. It straightens quickly and it keeps my hair feeling smooth and soft. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that because it's not very thin, it's hard to straighten the baby hairs around my face and that's very important to me. It's okay for straightening but it's not good for shaping and curving the ends of your hair. I just cut my hair and the style is a graduated bob so curling the ends is a necessity to make my hair look good. As I go down the strands with the brush it smooths out just fine but when I get to the ends it just lets my hair go even if I am spinning the brush as I go. The only complaint I have is that the handle is kind of narrow and my hands get sore during drying, I can manage but I imagine someone with grip/hand problems would have trouble. I found a solution though that works for me, I asked my BF to wrap the handle in electrical tape to thicken it up, and it's much more comfortable now. I saw some reviews with complaints about the bristles hurting their scalp… well this brush isn't meant to just brush your hair like that, it's for blow drying and the bristles really only go through your hair, not against your scalp… so yes they would hurt, but this is not a problem for me the way I use it.Karly

This brush (NT-82) is Amazing I got it today couldn’t wait to try it. I was able to blow dry my hair in half hour compared to my norm about an hour. Geez I know sounds crazy but my hair is super frizzy, curly wavy and thick and I was using a small barrel regular round brush. I was hesitant w/barrel being so big but soo Happy I went for this instead of standard size. Hair dried faster, definitely a lot less frizz and most important less time. I've been looking for this brush for a long time. For years (before the internet) I could not find a round wooden brush with the natural bristles. They were all made of nylon or some other synthetic material. My scalp is sensitive and I prefer a round natural brush and this one is perfect….not too firm and not too flimsy. This brush started off really great. I felt it stimulated my scalp and detangled my hair hair super easily. Then since my hair is so thick it started taking the little plastic nubs off the end of the bristles which led to them ultimately scratching my scalp making it super uncomfortable. This is a professional tool, yes, but it’s a tool for styling professionals to use on their clients, not a tool for us at home to get a more professional look to our everyday diy home blowouts. And here’s why: the rubber handle grip will stick to large sections of your hair and pull it right out of your head unless you can perfectly section your hair onto just the bristled area of the brush like a stylist does. Let me tell you, no matter what I tried with my long hair, I could not keep strands or whole sections of hair from falling suddenly onto the grip and getting stuck (OUCH). Not only was this painful, but when the hair got stuck on the rubber grip the brush itself was no longer able to pull through the hair that was on the brush bristles and I had to untangle my hair from the grip and start over, making this brush useless even if I could stand the pain of hair pulling. This is one of those items QVC didn’t quite think through, as professional stylists are much more likely to purchase this at a cheaper price from beauty supply stores and most of us everyday gals are likely to return it and rate it poorly, which won’t reflect well on T3, because it doesn’t work for everyday home styling. At the same time I purchased this brush, I also purchased a hairdryer from T3. The hairdryer hasn’t arrived yet, but I am expecting to love it.Kadidid
This is literally the BEST round brush I have used! Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. People are saying that the bristles hurt their scalp and that the rubber part pulls on their hair…I’m honestly quite confused. That’s definitely user error. Obviously you can tell that’s it going to be a little scratchy by looking at it and touching it, so not sure why it’s such a shock to so many. Also, how hard are you touching your scalp with the brush? It shouldn’t hurt that bad…I feel the bristles on my scalp but not enough to be in pain and leave a bad review. And the handle getting tangled and pulling hair? Um, how?? I never had an issue with hair getting caught in the handle…not sure how hair would end up there if you’re using it correctly. I think it’s an whaling brush and I’ve been using it for over a year now. It styles my hair faster than others I’ve used in the past and makes smooth and frizz free! The sharp bristles are my favorite part about this brush. I like a good scratchy bristle on my scalp. I can see how a previous reviewer said it’s perfect for her bangs because bangs are in the front of your face and generally away from other hair that could get caught in the handle. If you’re using this for your whole head like me and have got a lot of hair, your hair may get caught on the rubber handle. The handle feels awesome and is nice and squishy to hold which makes it feel better when you’re pulling your hair taut with the brush, you don’t feel like you’re going to have blisters when you’re done so that part is nice. But the rubber grip is like flubber… although it’s attached to my hand, it also attaches my hair to it and I don’t have the time or energy to keep unraveling my hair out of the brush so that it doesn’t get pulled out. If this brush had a wooden handle I would keep it. Sadly even though my other brushes don’t feel as good on my scalp, I think I’ll have to deal with them until I find one that is a game changer. I've had this brush for sooo many years. I bought it in my younger, stronger, fuller hair days. Now I'm in my 30s, and my hair has been gradually thinning with age. The rubber on top of the handle now snags my hair so much that I am fed up and buying a different brush. Beyond that, this brush is durable, long lasting and effective. I have very thick, curly, and coarse hair. I used this brush and Living Proof Restore oil and did a blow out! The results are almost as good as what I used to pay over $100 for in Dallas. I have some kinks to work out, but overall that's user error! It left me with great volume, no frizz, and it doesn't catch or pull the hair. I bought this to replace the same brand and model that I have been using for 8 or 10 years. It finally was wearing out. After several uses of the new one, I determined that the bristles do not fall out like a different brand that I recently tried. This size brush works well for smoothing and styling wet hair of medium length. It even has a pick to part off sections of hair. This protrudes from the end of the handle. My old brush had one but I never knew it because only a small bit protrudes. I bought that one in the store, not online. This one which I bought online mentioned the pick in the description.Helen

You Don't have no info on the size of the roller. So when I purchased this item I didn't realize how big the roller was, therefore I can't roll my hair. My hair is long but not long enough to get a tighter curl because the roller is to big, can't wrap my hair around the roller. If I could return this item I would but I Don't know if I can. I love my CHI AMPLITUDE Tourmaline Round Brush. I used to use argan oil after towel drying hair to help with my tangles, but now I don't have to apply the oil. After towel drying my hair, I blow dry it just to get it less damp, then I style with the tourmaline brush. It gives me volume, curls and it detangles my hair without any products. I own two Perfecters by Calista. Since my original Perfecter is finally giving out, it was time to replace the back up. The CHI was on sale so I decided to give it a try. It’s good quality and feels good in my hand. Heats up quickly, has a swivel cord and Velcro tab to wrap cord up. The brush cover is pretty much a waste of money because it’s super tight. Can’t get it on the brush with out burning fingers. I don’t like how the end of the CHI gets hot and it doesn’t give me the shine like my Perfecter. I have thick hair but it has a fine texture. It's shoulder length, and I bought the 4 inch. Loved the size, and it gave lots of volume, but for my hair type, I need a natural boar bristle brush. I own a smaller, natural boar bristle brush and it leaves my hair soft, smooth and shiny. Unfortunately, the nylon bristles in this brush leave my hair looking damaged and dry. Also, the seam between the handle and the brush catches my hair as I'm giving myself a blowout, ripping out gobs of hair! Ugh! Talk about frustrating. I have curly frizzy hair that I've started straigtening on a regular basis – blow drying and using a flat iron. I used a couple different brushes for blowdrying until I bought this one based on recommendations here, and I'm so glad I did. It is a noticeable difference – my hair was softer, straighter, and less frizzy, and it made flat-ironing afterwards a breeze. If I had a better blow dryer to match, I could probably skip the flat iron altogether. The bristles catch the hair without tangling, the ceramic heats up but hasn't burned me, and the handle is a soft lightweight foam that makes it easy to hold. I was so excited by the improvement in my blow-drying experience that I started recommending this to friends right away. I can't speak for the longevity of this item since I've only had it a couple weeks, but if it lasts a reasonable amount of time, I'll absolutely replace it with the same item. P.S. I use a Medium size and I have hair that's just above shoulder-length.

I actually thought this brush was really wonderful to use!! the bristles aren't too harsh on my hair and I found that I was easily able to brush my hair out without it pulling super hard on my hair. I love the size as well as it isn't super huge to the point where it isn't useful, but not super small where I have to work in endless sections! find that this brush can be used for both styling and detangling on both wet and dry hair and I haven't noticed a lot of breakage either. I think the bristles on this brush are perfect and perfectly spread apart so I don't have to worry about hair getting snagged, but also not too stiff where it hurts to brush. I am a makeup artist who loves a great round brush for getting the perfect blow out! I have tried many round brushes and am very picky, some glide through my hair to easily, some get way to hot, and some even rip my hair because the bristles are not sturdy and break easily. So needless to say I was very excited to try the KareCo Round brush. I am absolutely obsessed with their Tangle Buster Brush and their Tangle Buster Styler Brush, these two brushes are the holy grail of styling tools. Upon learning about this brush I was fascinated by the fact that all of their round brushes have a ventilated dome which allows air to flow through the entire brush making your blow dry time faster meaning less damage to your hair! I have thick curly hair and unfortunately as I began using this brush with my blow dryer I realized that the bristles where so far apart on the brush that I was not getting the tension I am used to and love with a mixed bristle brush.
