This is a pretty rug. I actually bought it to cut it in half and use as a half round at my front door. I just could not find a half rug with the right colors that I liked. The cost of this one made it worth it. If I messed it up, I wouldn't feel too bad. It looks great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the rug was not perfectly round. Rug keeps buckling. I've tried everything to weigh it down. It stays flat for a short time if nothing is on it. However, after a day or two with coffee table placed on rug, it starts to buckle again. I've ordered rugs from Rugs USA in the past and my rug lasted years at a GREAT price so I immediately chose to order again when it was time to update the look in my family room. The rug is definitely thinner and less dense but I expected this due to other reviews. It is similar to getting a low quality carpet remnant. I was fine with this because I have a nice pad underneath and it was the exact look I wanted for the room and had taken my husband and I forever to agree on one we liked. Unfortunately, after 2 months, the location in front of my couch & chair (where people walk or sit) are already smashed down and matted. This isn't a little wear but the fibers are actually matted and ruined already! Even with a pad underneath! It may be tempting to purchase this rug because it is such a unique modern design, but it will not last and you'll end up spending much more money by buying a new rug. This rug is nothing like the picture, it is not ugly, but it definitely is not what i thought I am buying. I guess you get what you pay for.. but i thought for it to made in Turkey will be a good quality. First of, it’s lighter color than the actual photo. Second, it’s as thin as a paper!! I bought the small 4 foot rug and the matching runner for our entryway. It's very thick – in a good, sturdy way – beautifully made and provides a nice texture without being an overwhelming pattern. The texture is nice for an entryway, but I think it would be a little bit rough and bumpy to use in a living room or somewhere that you might sit or spend time on the carpet. There was some dirt when I opened it, but a couple passes of the vacuum on both sides and I don't think it's going to be a problem. I like these rugs a lot and am going to keep them, I'm only giving a low review because I've already had a couple knots come undone and I've had to retie them and I wonder if this is going to continue to be an issue, and because THERE IS NO LATEX BACKING!!! Love the rug. We got this one for the living room after already purchasing and receiving one for kitsch and bedroom. The only thing is that this was the most expensive one, because it was the biggest and of course, this is the one that came with pulls on the rug. I have been a Zulily customer for years. I have never had a problem with any of my purchases, nor ever had a need to return or exchange an item. I have also purchased Safavieh rugs in the past. I purchased this rug for my daughters room. It was the look she desired and at just under $170 a great price! We waited a couple weeks before putting the rug down bc we had just had our wood floors stripped and waxed. It was recommended we wait 30 days before putting the area rug down, so we wouldn’t damage the refinished floors. Upon unwrapping the rug, it looked extremely dark, versus the light and multi shaded tan colors in the photo. After unrolling they floor, we noticed the rug was crooked. It wasn’t a rectangular shape, but more of a rhombus. We tried to adjust, but due to the weight and size, we were unable to square up the rug. Secondly, the rug is a deep expresso color, a few dark coffee area and very few if any light tan colors. The worse part was that there were loose ends everywhere. They weren’t woven into the rug to be hidden, and many loose ends had unraveled into the carpet, leaving gaps and noticeable areas where it looked like the carpet had holes- which it did. The worse part was the customer service- I requested to return to the item and sent in photos. The form stated that someone would contact me by email in 4 days. That was 3 weeks ago. Still no response. I just sent an email to customer service, as I still haven’t heard back from anyone. This concerns me- as it’s been my first and only issue. Is this normal?
