I typically love Naturium products, but was disappointed with this purchase. I bought both the salicylic acid wash and hydrating oil wash. Both were difficult to use due to stuck pumps and I had to keep opening to pull out dip stick and reinsert. Then, upon using, the pump for salicylic acid wash cracked! Very disappointed. However, i get acne spots in my back that leave dark spots and i absolutely hate it. Now being pregnant, my back got full of red acne and i had to do something. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. It is a Fragrance-free product that is suitable for "gentle cleansing and relieves itchy, dry skin". It is also dermatologist recommended because of which I decided to give this a try. My skin is usually dry and even more so, after a shower. The body wash is of thick consistency which lathers on quite luxuriously. My skin felt nourished during the showers. After the showers, I expected to see the same white dry skin I had been used to, BUT didn't. I would say 96% of the dryness has been addressed. The itchiness has completely disappeared. I am quite satisfied with the result and consider this to be a good product. It is definitely worth a try. I used this body wash, and wow it felt so good. It was easy to dispense, and the texture is like a mix between a gel and a cream. When rubbed in, it becomes a lather that is easy to rinse. My skin is also pretty sensitive (I'm allergic to random things, often shampoos and soaps) and there was no irritation afterwards. Although there is no fragrance, it does smell a little bit like essential oils… But I did not react! My skin feels less dry, and I know it is definitely thoroughly cleansed. You don't need to have sensitive skin to use a gentle body wash, in fact everyone should! There's no reason to use harsh cleansers which strip your skin surface of hydration. They make a thicker lather easier, but you can get a thick lather just fine with this wash. If you feel like you can't do it in your hands then use a tool. I use a tool and a little goes a long way. If you think about it it is a pretty shortsighted idea to use a harsh cleanser just so you don't have to use a lathering tool. What is more important – your skin's hydration? Or saving a couple extra seconds in the shower? This brand's body washes mostly have similiar ingredients lists with different scents which is fine with me, I will keep trying different scents. This one is OK, it's fairly mild and doesn't linger so it won't interfere with your perfume. I would personally say it's 60% aloe 40% cucumber 0% tea. I do wish the brand took an approach more like Native for labeling and didn't seperate things unnecessarily by gendered category.Jamie
I guess I’ll be the lone comment of dislike. First, I’m in love with Raw Sugar’s hair mask conditioner line, so grabbed this while in store to branch out. The smell is veeeery sweet and a bit obnoxious. And smells like pineapple more than anything. I mean, who knows? Maybe I don’t like the smell of mango. If you are considering purchasing this product, you MUST READ this review. Let me start off by saying that my skin is not overly dry or sensitive. I choose moisturizing products for sensitive skin because they tend to be gentler and less fragrant. Raw Sugar clearly did not get the memo. This body wash is the thinnest, most fragrant one I have used in my entire life. When I first pumped out the product, I was shocked by how thin it was. I cannot believe Raw Sugar has the audacity to claim this product provides "extra moisturizing benefits." It made my 100% cotton washcloth feel like sandpaper. Additionally, I was shocked by how fragrant it was. The scent does not smell natural whatsoever. Worst of all, THIS BODY WASH BURNED MY SKIN AND GAVE ME A RASH. I have red and dark brown splotches all over my chest, neck, and who knows where else. My skin hurts, itches, and burns. It has NEVER reacted like this to any product. I have included a photo of a patch of skin that is coated with Vaseline. This is the best it has looked in days. this is extremely drying– gives me dry patches within a few days of use… i do have quite dry skin (except over my forehead), and this definitely isn't a facial cleanser i would recommend to anyone, tbh. SLS, in my experience, is very stripping for my skin type, and i cannot imagine how this is gentle enough as an everyday cleanser. i don't even want to use it on my body, though i have 2 giant bottles left in my cupboard. it also has a seriously soapy smell, foams up a lot, and leaves your skin seriously *squeaky* clean… ding ding ding, those are the biggest flashing lights you can get, warning you of how STRIPPING it is. granted, as you get older, your skin dries out and becomes more sensitive, but i couldn't even tolerate this during my pubertal years, when my skin was at its most resilient and least dehydrated. my dermatologist recommended this to me when i had acne problems during my adolescence, but no… i would NEVER put this on my face ever again. there are cheaper and gentler cleansers than this at a drugstore. for reference, i have acne-prone, sensitive, combination (mostly dry, except over forehead) skin, and fresh's soy cleanser suits my skin type best.shani.t
This product does exactly what it says. It is a very gentle face and body wash that’s great for dry and sensitive skin. I used to have to moisturize right after a shower or else my skin will feel dry and cracked. Tried this as I came across the brand on eczema forums and approved by the national eczema association. The texture is quite smooth and slightly silvery in colour, and unscented (doesn’t contain fragrance). Good quality product that doesn’t irritate sensitive skin and washes well. But as I’m quite picky with products, though this is unscented, it still had a light, slightly metallic smell (probably owing to the mica composition) that didn’t sit well with me. I can't believe Dove changed the original formula, it was working so well for so long why did they have to change it? I've been using this body wash for 15 years and I loved it. I've never had an issue until now. This new formula not only smells weird and disgusting but it also drys out my skin extremely. Like, after I take a shower using the new body wash I immediately felt my skin feeling dry and as a result itchy. It was so uncomfortable I had to use lotion. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA!!! I wish this could be its own separate thing, and Dove still kept the original formula. First things first, I'm very skeptical when it comes to trying out new products pertaining to my skin. I usually stick to a product that works and use that for years so it's gonna take a whole lot to convince me to use Dove's Deep Moisture body wash. But to my surprise I am IMPRESSED! At first look, the bottle/packaging is very similar to many body washes available out there. So honestly it wasn't that appealing to me. As I squeezed out a very generous amount to lather, I realized that I made a huge mistake. It doesn't take much to use, a little really goes a long way which is great because that means that the product will last you much longer. Once I got out of the shower and my skin air dried, I can already feel the smoothness of my skin. As I quote from the back of the bottle, "Dove makes your skin softer and smoother with just one shower" and it totally did, and that truly surprised me. It was so smooth that I didn't need to put lotion on my body, which I do all the time right after showering. As for the smooth feeling I felt, I was truly impressed. I've used Dove Sensitive Skin body wash for a number of years, and have never had any complaints about it til using the "New" formula, purchased a month or two ago. I bought a 3 pack and noticed when using the first bottle a tiny grainy texture not present in the soap before. There aren't anywhere near enough grainy bits to suggest it's an exfoliating feature, just enough to feel like there's something wrong with the new formula. The grains seem to become more prevalent as the body wash was used over a few weeks. I tried a second bottle to see if the first one was a fluke, but unfortunately the grainy texture was in the second bottle too. I was going to buy a single bottle to see if this textural change was specific to the three-pack, but after reading these reviews I realize any bottle marked New probably will have the same problem. This has been my daily body/face/hair wash for about 8 years now. Every now and then I try a different body wash but keeping coming back to this one. It's the perfect balance of cleaning power and moisturizing power. I find most body washes either too weak to clean properly or too strong which dries out my skin. This Jack Black body wash has a mild scent. It makes you feel nice and clean. If you like to use cologne quite frequently. The scent of the body wash won't overpower the scent of the cologne. Never have I written a review on any product and certainly it is time to be heard. I have used this product(the old formula) for years and knew something was happening with the product last year. With that in mind I bought ever bottle I could find. The old version was as good as it gets and was the highlight of my daily grooming. I think this is more suited for ‘very dry skin’ rather than ‘dry skin’. It’s a good product but doesn’t feel like it’s cleansing enough (especially for my armpits lol) since its consistency is more like lotion than wash. This is my goto body wash that I’ve found. It’s gentle on the environment and your skin. The fragrances are really nice, but not overpowering. I feel like I’m having an aromatherapy session when I use them. My favorites are the Douglas fir & Sage, and Rosemary Mint products. I’ve found them good for use as a body wash and shampoo. I have really short hair, so ymmv. I also like that the containers are aluminum and easily recyclable. This is my second bulk order from Alpine and I’ll continue to come back. After you get over the fantastic packaging (which you never will, not really; the geometric animal etchings *shine* from the shower shelf) and get to the product, the first thing that strikes you is the texture. It is luxuriously smooth: its semi-thick consistency on wet skin distributes satisfyingly evenly. And it’s concentrated enough that maybe 3 dime-size applications cover the entire body. The smell is unusual: its sillage maybe medium potency (for a soap; smell it maybe a foot away) and has more of a muted cedar/autumn-y top note that combines with I don’t know how to describe an olive-oil-soap smell; lastly there’s a semi-sandalwood scent underneath (coconut aroma not present to my nose). I’ve grown fond of the admittedly unusual scent. It’s a mild enough scent that it doesn’t linger much after rinsing. I actually would have liked a more distinct longer-lasting scent, but I so very much appreciate the quality of the ingredients that this elevated skincare supersedes all else. I purchased this through Subscribe & Save. I needed more body wash, but there weren't a lot of options I was willing to purchase. I had never heard of Puracy before, but I liked the ingredients and the fact that it's US made and it wasn't expensive. It came in a box with two bottles and two pumps. I could not get one of the pumps to unlock, but I can just use the same one for both bottles. The scent is really nice and the wash works well. I live in very dry Colorado and some washes leave my skin feeling really dry, but this one was great. I use this body wash to get the chlorine off after a swim and it works great! I swim several times a week and the previous body washes I would use didn't do the trick. My skin would still have a chlorine smell and would dry out easily. When I use this body wash my skin smells good and doesn't dry out as easily. The smell is fine, it's not super strong which I prefer. It's hard to find affordable natural body washes that are geared toward swimmers. While this one isn't directed specifically at swimmers it works! If you are looking for a natural body wash for post-swim showers this is a great option! I'm sure this would be great body wash for normal use as well.
I have a severe allergy to blue dye and most scents that companies insist on putting into the products we use. It is so fabulous to find an all natural product that is dye free. And yes it works fabulously. I have used other organic shower gels but with this one I use about half the amount per shower to clean my entire body. Just because a product is dye free and scent free doesn't automatically good for you or the environment,this one is. You will not regret purchasing this product.

Started using Ivory soap at 10 years old. Will soon be 62 and it's still the ONLY thing I use. Was excited when they came out with the bar soap in Aloe scent. I would like to retract (and I reported so maybe they reach out to me) my review from a few months ago. For about 6 months, I had solely been using the old version of this product for my sensitive skin. It was amazing and did not act up my sinus allergies. However, about a month after finally writing a review, the company changed their product. This new product is not for sensitive skin and not for people who have skin or sinus allergies. It is no longer creamy but gelish. The important and natural ingredients have been moved down the list, just as many ingredients have been replaced or moved down for synthetic and chemical ridden ingredients. I have a very sensitive skin and get itchy when using strong products especially body wash and shampoos. This product doesn’t made me itchy after 2x of using it at night. It smells so good but not overly perfumed. I received this for free from topbox circle. I never really thought about trying this brand before but now that I tried this body wash and was very happy with it, I will go buy some of their shampoo and lotion. I also looked at the price in walmart and was very surprised how inexpensive it is for a big bottle. After rinsing it with water, it gives me a smooth skin. I noticed it especially in my lower legs.
