this did the best job ever for my septic tank. I mean IT IS TOTALLY Clear running. This will be the second time I am getting it. The toilet closest to the back of the house gurgled and was stopped up for about three days, but would slowly drain and bubble when someone would take a shower in another bathroom or ran water in the kitchen. Using the plunger did not help at all. Every time I would flush, the water would fill the bowl and would not allow the waste to go down the drain. (The other toilet was backing up as well, but not as badly, and also the sinks and tub would also back up and take several minutes to drain slowly). When I returned home with this product, as was usual, the bowl would drain slowly (taking about 30 minutes) and a flush would cause the waste to return back into the bowl with the water from the tank. I emptied this septic cleaner into the standing waste-contaminated water in the bowl until it drained out slowly as before. I poured in freshwater to nearly fill the bowl and let it drain out slowly, twice. Finally, I heard a strong gurgling and whooshing as if the system had completely opened back up. I cautiously flushed the toilet and everything was back to normal. It was about four hours from the time I poured in this cleaner to the time our system was restored. I just knew I would have to spend hundreds of dollars to have someone to dig up and pump out our septic system. God is good. He made the chemists and gave them the understanding to create this product.Shane

Roebic laboratories makes amazing products. I used the Septic System Cleaner emergency care for clogged or sluggish systems (leach field) and it was a miracle worker. My leach field was completely clogged and not draining because of the bio-mat layer (sludge from oils,grease,and fats). This product restored it to normal flow within a fairly short time and saved me a huge repair bill. I uncovered the D box (distribution box) and poured it directly in to have a stronger effect on breaking down the bio-mat layer. I highly recommend this product! Ridx does not do what it says it does I have a thousand gallon tank . It should take 4-6 years fir a family if 4 to fill up a 1000 gallon tank. I was alone for the first 1.5 years. Then there was 3 people. I have only lived in this house a total of 2.8years now. I have used ridx regularly. Yesterday 4/1/22 I had a septic tank msn come out to check my tank. Mind you it was installed new when I bought the house. He was shocked when he removed the cover yo gong the tank was full. It has to be pumped out. I trusted your product and it didn’t do its job. I feel your company should reimburse me for the cost of having the tank pumped out as well as reimbursing me for the boxes of ridx I purchased and trusted to do the job it was mentioned to do snd didn’t.Josie Dunkle

This has been the only brand we used until recently. We were slacking in keeping up with treatments and I shopped around for what had the best reviews. I tried Green Gobbler and it really did nothing. I went back to Rid-X and the next day the the septic smell had improved greatly. I'm not sure of the correct 'language', but it seemed like it really got to work on the solid waste and lowered it inside the tank. The air was not coming up through the pipe any longer.Nicole

Had drain field problems. Followed directions for first application then applications afterwards. After six months I now can see drainfields are working via the green grass growing above them, a sign the drain fields are leaching water as they should. We pay extra attention not to use caustic cleaners and NO FAT/GREASE down drains or toilet. So far, extremely pleased. By the way, are septic service owner recommended the product after pumping tank. Was told if I use this product, would have a good operating system from now on.
