But it still made my skin on the drier side so I will need to use a richer moisturizer for it. I have been using this serum along side other products for almost 3 weeks now and to be honest I did find a slight change in my skin. The texture of the serum is nice not too sticky and it dries great on the skin leaving no grease cast and gorgeous from within glow. I would say that the size is quite small for the price. Another thing, I didn’t breakout from this product which is good for my acne-prone skin. Highly recommend this for dry skin as well. This is a beautiful and hydrating layer in the routine, but it isn't as moisturizing as I might have expected. I do love it but even though I have combination skin I definitely need to apply a good cream over it, even when I do four or more layers of this. That's to be expected. The consistency is milky and soft, it applies and spreads easily, doesn't pill at all, doesn't irritate, and layers very nicely. The only downside of this is the dropper, the bulb is very small and the tube is large and the product is not very fluid, so you really have to get it out in several goes instead of just one. I've tried a few other PK products and loved all of them, but wasn't sure about this one. I expect serums to be liquid/runny but this one is pretty thick and milky white? The dropper is useless and I'm pretty sure it's too short to even reach the bottom of the tube, and it doesn't pick up or squirt any product. If it does, it shoots it everywhere. I honestly had to just dip it in and use the outside of the dropper to scrape the product off onto my finger and then apply. I'm not sure if it did anything for my skin, but I also didn't use it consistently enough to fairly test it. When Tatcha first came out I was interested in purchasing a lot of the products however when I talked to an employee (FYI with flawless skin) she told me that Tasha is fine but it has a lot of extra/unnecessary ingredients which is why she doesn’t use it. This is important because fast-forward a few years and I finally decided to buy some Tatcha products. For reference I have sensitive combination/oily skin. Its very rare that my skin breaks out and I don’t really have any skin issues, I mainly use products to prevent aging. So I purchased this treatment serum and for the first week all was fine and it did plump and hydrate my face, maybe a little too much because i started to notice my face did tend to feel a bit greasy by the end of the day. The following weeks my skin started to go south. I started to get pimples every so often then I started getting those deep under the skin pimples, I was noticing the pores on my nose and chin and my skin just started to look rough. First off, let me say, I REALLY like this serum. But I need to let you know why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I took off a half star for the directions, it says there is exfoliation, and that confused me. I even asked in a forum if I was allowed to use with other chemical exfoliants, like products with AHA and BHAs in it. I got lots of likes on my question, but no answer, so I really thought about it, and I figured, the main objective of this expensive serum is to hydrate, so I thought there must not be too much exfoliating properties or it would be marketed as such. The second half star I took off was for the price. Yes, I know Tatcha luxury and bougie, and I buy other products from their line, but to be very honest, I didn't see such a big difference in this product that I can't get in one that costs about half the price, I currently use a hyaluronic acid serum, two different ones that are very similar in price and results that cost about half of the Tatcha one, so about 42 to 49 dollars. I will pay for great skincare, but I won't pay just for a name. Maybe I am underestimating how much the chemical exfoliants are doing in this serum, if that's the case then maybe it is worth every dime of the 85 dollar price tag, but then that also means Tatcha needs to do a better job explaining that this is a dual product, a hyaluronic acid serum and a chemical exfoliant in one, which makes this a great price. That being said, again, I do love this product, but I probably won't be purchasing this again. I did receive this product for free, in return for an honest review. This serum is amazing! It’s my first real foray into snail products and it quickly made me a believer of the healing and soothing powers of snail mucin. I believe that this product is responsible for greatly alleviating the side effects I was experiencing after the strength of my tretinoin prescription was doubled. I think the peeling and burning would’ve been so much worse if it weren’t for this product, which pretty much put a halt to these issues after one day. The other star ingredients in the formula (ginseng and niacinamide) are also fantastic for anti-aging, brightening, and moisture barrier health. The texture of this serum is a little slimy thanks to the snail mucin, but it’s not bothersome at all to me. I find the texture to be very hydrating and soothing. To top it all off, Beauty of Joseon is an affordable brand in general and this product is no exception. I’m sure I will repurchase it when I’m done with my current bottle.
Texture is tacky but easy to apply. Sit in front of a fan if you feel uncomfortable but you will get used to it after a while. Fine lines around my eyes and crows feet become less visible now. Pores tighten as well. Skin tone looks more balanced and even. Skin starting to have a glow and looks slightly more radiant. Tested on the skin of my lower leg where hyper pigmentation is present and the outcome is improvements for sure. Still a little early to tell the full effects but am using it day and night. Patience is needed so let's see after 01 month of use. Will suggest to switch out in between other products so that the skin will not get used to it thus affecting the full potential of this serum. For the first two weeks of using the Glass skin series, I had the most radiant skin of my life – my skin has been clear for years, thanks to Korean Skin care & a clean diet, but the Glass skin brought out a gorgeous otherworldliness. And then… the cystic acne. And cluster acne. Aiee…. I really want to love this stuff, and I've read that the acne can happen because of the greater cell turnover due to the hyaluronic acid, so I'm now experimenting with steaming my face nightly, and have also moved down from two pumps of the glass skin serum morning & night (to my face and neck) to just one pump at night, mixed with organic argan oil. Then I apply the Matcha cream. (And on top of that, if I think a little more moisture might help, I put on some Cerave, just because it's less speedy.) It's possible this might help… TBD! I bought this on a whim back in May because I was in the market for a serum, I love K-beauty, and had heard good things about this brand. I went all in on the regular sized bottle despite the price and I'm so glad I did. This stuff has transformed my skin so much. I'm extremely pale and prone to redness and uneven skin tone/texture but ever since I started using this regularly every night before bed, my skin has looked 100x more even, softer/smoother, and it just has this lovely glow that I never had before. I hardly feel the need to use much if any concealer/foundation anymore because my skin just looks that good. The texture of the product is smooth and feels really nice when applying. I just use a fingertip's worth on each section of my face; it doesn't take much so this bottle should last a while. I will say that I have found that my skin tends to get a little flaky the next morning if I don't follow this up with a moisturizer, so I would definitely recommend always moisturizing after or possibly staying away if you are prone to super dry skin. This review has been a long time coming. I have been using this product since November of 2021. I cringe at the reviews for not giving a product ample amount of time to work. It's not a few time use to get the results, it's not instant. A lot of people were mentioning they break out and that's fair. But you need to realize your skin is purging the prior toxins. Skin regenerates, like your lashes shed. You can basically describe me as a skin cake junkie. Its done wonders on my skin in the past 8 months. Nowadays, I barely put any powder. It's leaves my skin a perfect foundation for primers to put on make up. When you're using a product with hyaluronic acid you need to add it to moist skin. (I didn't know that at first-research before your dump it) If you don't, it will dry out your skin (hence the break outs). I use this serum with the glass skin veil mist. When you put the two products together it is prime! You'll need to dab the serum on your skin until you get a slightly tacky texture. When you reach that point, then add your moisturizer. This serum is fantastic in so many ways–it softens my skin unlike any other serum or moisturizer I've ever used. I'm over 40 and have extremely dry, dehydrated skin. However, if I use it more than 3 days in a row, I develop red bumps on my cheeks. It must be some sort of allergic reaction and it's so disappointing. I love this stuff and don't want to react poorly to it! I'm now trying to stick to once or twice a week to see if that helps. It really does make a difference. laneige glowy makeup serum – ⭐⭐½ I got a deluxe sample of this from an $8 Sephora sampler. I love my Lip Sleeping Mask [Vanilla] ,⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! All the way, and I've been hit or miss on other products because some have a really strong scent. I don't remember this having much of a scent so that's good. I had trouble getting the dropper to work, but hopefully that's not a problem on the real size. I worried this has glitter because it looks like it has pink glitter, but it's the diamond mineral powder so it doesn't make you look glittery, which is good. I don't find this hydrating, which is a shame because I was really looking for that and with ceramide hydration gel I was hopeful because my skin really likes ceramides. I found it almost mattifying, and my skin isn't dry it's oily/combo. This was a little priming, but not enough to not use another primer. I also don't think it made me look glowy or make my makeup last longer. I use a tinted moisturizer like or . Disappointed, glad I got this in the sampler because I wouldn't purchase the full size.
Okay, first of all, this is the BEST makeup primer I've ever used. I use this on top of my SPF (Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen) and right before my foundation and I must say, it is a GAME-CHANGER. I have the oiliest skin ever and my foundation ALWAYS creases after an hour on my smile lines and this virtually STOPED that in it's tracks. I wore this all day under my mask with my Armani Luminous Silk foundation and my skin looked absolutely flawless all day. It goes on very hydrating and really grips the foundation. The key to this product is to not over-do it. I started off using a full dropper of this and that ended up making my makeup too tacky to put powder on top, it also oxidized my foundation. Make sure to use about 2-3 small drops, enough to cover your whole face, and make sure to allow it to settle in before applying your foundation. It literally adds a blurring effect under foundation, my pores look smaller, my texture is diminished and my foundation doesn't settle in my fine lines anymore. I can see this being great for dry-skin types as it's very hydrating, but then it's also amazing for oily skin types like me. I feel it's a very universal product and definitely worth a try if you have the same skin concerns as I did! I will be using this for the rest of my life lol.CarmenValentina

I have to preface this review by stating that I have dry, aging skin with moderate amounts of photo damage. I understand that many of us prefer a more "natural" approach to skincare these days, but this serum is lifechanging. My first bottle I ordered directly from Amore Pacific, but took advantage of my Rouge status this VIB sale, and ordered another bottle to have on hand. This product is a prep step for your routine, and it absolutely does help whatever products you follow it with absorb more thoroughly. When I use the First Care Activating Serum, I don't have to wait as long in between steps for my products to absorb. The alcohol is a 'vehicle' for the active ingredients to penetrate, and in no way affects the plumping and hydrating effect this product imparts to the skin. I love toners and essences, since I use the "skins" method. Some nights, I will use acids, and on off nights, I will use intensely hydrating products. I could honestly just go on with my day or go to bed at night with a single application of this, my "skins", and an SPF or a moisturizer, and skip any serums. I have done so before in a hurry, but like the actives in my serums too much to give up on them alltogether. But just to clarify the reviewers complaining of the alcohol- it is not just a vehicle for the actives, but also a preservative, and if you don't try it you should'nt knock it. Made my skin not only soft but also so…. healthy-looking? i got this product because tina tanaka harris on youtube raves about it and highly recommends it for everyone and i eventually caved in and decided to try it. i do not regret getting this at all! my skin is acne prone, combo and i still have some scarring and texture that i'm struggling with but this product has helped with my texture so much! it definitely does what it says because after only a week of use my skin felt and looked so much smoother! no i only have to worry about the more stubborn texture around my nose and chin but other than that my skin has improved so much. highly recommend everyone try it out!
This serum is amazing. I use it when I'm not using an active, usually after a hydrating serum. At first I wasn't sure it was doing anything but my skin definitely looks and feels smoother after consistent use. I've been using it for a few months and still have about a month's worth left. Excellent value for money with the 50ml size. The texture is thick and spreads really easily, so I only need 3 drops. It sinks in incredibly quickly considering the viscosity. I probably wouldn't use if I was currently using an FTE or other fermented product in my routine.

I've been struggling with acne and mainly acne scars for about 3 years now. I've tried different kinds of medication, different kinds of skincare products and so many other methods, and nothing worked. I wouldn't say this magically cleared my skin up, but it did help my acne scars fade a lot more. let me start by saying I've had a very troubled skin since i was a kid which leaves me with very scarred face, full of red, purple and brown marks which take months or years to fade (despite using various products, hydrating cleansing exfoliating, you name it). Blithe Tundra Chaga Pressed serum. So weird, So Cool!…another Try-it item here on iHerb. When you open the jar, you see this light brown gel-cream stuff. Weird! When you try it you know why it's called pressed serum. It's very dense and almost melts when it contacts the warmth of your skin and begins to dissolve. This gives you more of a liquid effect. I originally bought the smaller trial size version, unsure if I could commit to the larger size since the brand was unknown to me. The reviews were convincing enough, but once I depleted the trial size, I HAD to purchase the larger size. This is my new favorite moisturizer and I plan to use it as long as it is available. The price is more than fair for the quality and the size of the jar since a little bit does go a long way. I didn’t have a specific skin concern I needed to address with this, I just wanted something that was gentle enough to use day or night and that could be layered with other serums or oils as needed. I plan to update my review later on if I notice any reduction in fine lines and firming, but as of now, I have not used it long enough to notice. Glad I got this little sample pot. It feels nourishing to my 40yo skin, yet is so beautifully light, doesn't feel 'cheap' or full of junk, and i don't feel nervous about using it on the under eye area. No residue feel from it whatsoever. I don't wear make-up very often but i imagine this would work well as a primer. The sample jar is quite small, but seeing that only a tiny amount of product is needed to cover the entire face and neck i think it will be adequate for a decent trial. As i write this review, iherb is asking what i think about the scent. To be honest, i don't notice a scent while applying it . This product is amazing! I use this product on my T-zone where I get oily in the morning. Normally I would have a lot of oil during the end of the day, but when I used this product I didn't! It controls my oils really good and I can see the difference in the size of my pores. They are a lot smaller. I've already purchased a second bottle! (Also it smells so gooooddd !!)
To be hones, I was quite skeptical about this product claiming to visibly reduce pore size as pores do not go away like acnes. After consistently using this product day and night for 2 months… Im now 😲 shocked. I can literally tell my pores are less visible and much smaller. Ill keep using it until bottle is empty and see what will be the result! Very keen considering current result 🤔. 😁 Totally worth the penny.Joy
This is indeed a crazy COOL product! I have (or shall I say 'had' now??) enlarged pores due to skin dehydration and excessive sebum production. And this guy fixed it all in a matter of just 2 weeks! I use it twice a day, and only on those areas with enlarged pores – as the alcohol in it can be drying for those healthy parts of my skin I don't want to mess up. 🙂 The core tip is to let it sink for 10 min after application to do its magic (just as the packaging suggests). Result? Visibly smaller pores, no more shine or piles of blotting paper! Just make sure to hydrate your skin WELL when using the serum.

This is a beautiful and hydrating layer in the routine, but it isn't as moisturizing as I might have expected. I do love it but even though I have combination skin I definitely need to apply a good cream over it, even when I do four or more layers of this. That's to be expected. The consistency is milky and soft, it applies and spreads easily, doesn't pill at all, doesn't irritate, and layers very nicely. The only downside of this is the dropper, the bulb is very small and the tube is large and the product is not very fluid, so you really have to get it out in several goes instead of just one. They could fix this by increasing the size of the bulb. It's not a real problem but something easy to improve.Michael O.
Great bottle size, the dropper is a little tricky to use, but you just got to bring it to the level of the product before you press on it and viola, you’ll get some product. Love the packaging! Have been using this serum for almost a month! Very lightweight, not much scent to it and yet I love that it is moisturising enough for my sensitive skin! No outbreak or anything so far! I've tried a few other PK products and loved all of them, but wasn't sure about this one. I expect serums to be liquid/runny but this one is pretty thick and milky white? The dropper is useless and I'm pretty sure it's too short to even reach the bottom of the tube, and it doesn't pick up or squirt any product. If it does, it shoots it everywhere. I honestly had to just dip it in and use the outside of the dropper to scrape the product off onto my finger and then apply. I'm not sure if it did anything for my skin, but I also didn't use it consistently enough to fairly test it. Like I said, it's more viscous, but it applies more smoothly like a liquid, soI think you could get a lot of coverage with little product.Irene

E M P T Y R E V I E W 🍋 @somebymi Yuja Niacin Blemish Care Serum – I have never really delved into Korean skincare until this product. Won in a giveaway, I started using immediately as at the time I was struggling a lot with congestion. I was on holiday in the gili islands at the time, so travelling aswell wasn’t helping the cause🥺 This product claims to reduce the appearance of dark spots (I’ve always had freckles my whole life but have had some dark pigment spots show up over the years) and give the skin an overall brightened appearance which sounds great. This product comes in a 50ml little bottle with a pump. Some great ingredients in this product include 5% Niacinamide, 82% Yuja to brighten and moisturise the skin and 3 types of vitamin C!! It is a very dull yellow gel texture with a very citrus scent to it, being the citrus peel oil I assume 🍋 Applying this to the skin I felt ALOT of stinging and immediately removed. Now…… this was because, I thought it was a good idea to apply the serum to my face after a had been absolutely rosted in the sun the day before (I know ugh I’m so bad). 🤦🏻♀️ Since using again, I only notice a slight stingy feeling but nothing to be concerned about at all, it is more a tiny little tingle. I was concerned however that when applied it went to a kind of soapy like finish? If anyone can tell me what this is that would be great / if it’s just the product, but absorbed very quickly and layed well. After using for about 2 months now morning and night (excessive maybe but I wanted to give it a gooooood go) I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I would only really use this at night I think as a vitamin c serum under my moisturiser. It hasn’t as such aided in bringing down any of my congestion, but has very much given my face a healthy radiant glow. Don't expect an instant effect from this serum – it takes about 4 weeks for you to understand what it does. If you haven't used niacinamide before, it takes time to work and build up – it won't give instant results. 5% is quite a sufficient dose to see its effect, which you will not regret. The advantage of this serum, unlike many others with this component, is that it is perfectly absorbed and does not leave stickiness at all, does not roll off and is invisible within a minute after application. For example, the same famous The Ordinary lays down worse. After 4 weeks and beyond, you will begin to notice that acne spots go away many times faster and generally to zero, leaving no hints about yourself. I'm talking about those stains that usually go away for months. But we must admit that the consumption of whey is decent, despite its large amount. Highly recommend in short!VV Wong

It is non-irritating and actually appears to have soothed my red skin. I’ve also used this after having a breakout from another product I have been testing and it has definitely helped clear up my skin. 😊. For an AHA/BHA product, I have found it to be quite gentle (and I definitely have sensitive, irritated skin). 🌿 [Final Thoughts]- I think this is a great summer toner. Trust me when I say this: this is the ONLY product that has actually helped me brighten my skin from hyperpigmentation due to acne. I've tried so many things, even the niacinamide serum from the Ordinary that everyone raves about. That one broke me out so bad, but this didn't break me out AT ALL. This by far has been my favorite toner to use. I've tried both this one and their miracle toner and I love both. I have noticed though that while they are great for pores, this one works the best. I have bigger pores on my nose and on my cheeks near my nose just cause I have very oily skin and I have noticed a size difference in them. The smell is great as well. If you have sensitive skin I would be wary of this product though. It can be a little drying as well so I only recommend this product if you have oily/acne prone skin.iHerb Customer
This serum has a gel like consistency. It gently hydrated my sensitive skin. My skin concerns are oily skin, sensitive skin and minimizing large skin pores. This serum does not clog pores and it has nice spa scent.
