I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. My previous order the pumps on the bottles were broken. I just chalked that up to shipping but when the products are sent to you already opened, that's a whole other issue.Marcia W.
This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. It provides a thick rich and full leather without having to use 17 pumps of shampoo. I Projects like that mielle products are parabens and sulfates paraffins and mineral oil all free. I will be the first to say that being that I have for sea hair this is not a detangling product. Moisturizing absolutely. Cleaning your hair it also removes all the impurities. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. I was able to try this product in exchange for review, which I was thrilled about as I have always wanted to try this particular Shea Moisture line. I have heavily highlighted and have attacked it quite regularly with hot tools. Add in pandemic self-done haircuts, my hair has been feeling rather dry and brittle. After two weeks of using this shampoo, twice a week, My hair feels moisturised but perhaps a little too much so. For my particular hair, I cannot use this is my go-to shampoo, but more as a twice a month or so treatment shampoo. The texture is not like any I have tried before, it is a semi-viscus liquid that pours out like a watery honey, not at all like a standard shampoo, so pay attention in the shower! The smell is a comforting warm vanilla. For my hair this product is a little too moisturising to use with every wash, but if you have coarser hair than mine, I definitely say give it a whirl. I was able to try the Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo as a #freeproduct with #trywithtopbox & was pleasantly surprised. Keeping in mind this is a restorative shampoo it's very unconventional in the way it looks, smells & shampoos the hair. I was very skeptical but was used to it by the 2nd to 3rd time using it. It doesn't suds up/lather as much as a regular shampoo but it does if you really massage the hair well & give it a second shampoo. The color doesn't bother me as I said you get used to it. My hair didn't have the traditional "clean" feeling the first time I used it but there's a definite silkier almost more creamy feel to the hair after using it which is nice. This was a nice surprise! After using it for a few weeks now, I feel like again, I'm used to it & it leaves the hair clean & amazingly hydrated. Keep in mind this is all because this shampoo is sulfate-free (which is a good thing!). So give it a chance! You wouldn't necessarily use this if you have a ton of product in your hair you need to get off (lots of hairspray, gel etc,). This could be used for the second round of shampooing. So recommend to use this when you need some hydration & your hair is heat damaged. Also big plus it didn't burn my eyes which is my number one test with any shampoo especially when I saw the highlighted ingredients as peppermint & apple cider vinegar. I detest mint in general (esp in hair care) & have used products with lots of tea tree oil etc. & do not like it. So points for being subtle smelling & not harsh. Honestly didn't even notice. I bought the travel size of this shampoo to test out how it would do on my hair before I splurged on the big bottle. I was also a bit wary of the reviews that claimed it caused hair loss. I have wavy and thick hair with low porosity. I have a very dry, itchy, flakey scalp as well. I read that tea tree oil could help soothe your scalp, so I thought I would try it. I washed my hair as directed. Used about 3 dime sizes for my whole head and massaged it into my scalp. It lathers alright. Not much suds. That made me think that it wasn't cleaning my hair enough so I was tempted to put more shampoo on my head but I did not. The smell is very strong, but it does not linger in your hair post-wash. Usually, my head begins to itch after I wash my hair, but with this shampoo, there was no itch! So I was pleasantly surprised by that. I finished off my hair with the tea tree special conditioner. After I finished showering and dried my hair with a microfiber towel, I noticed no residue on my hair and it felt very clean! I couldn't see any flakes and my scalp wasn't itchy! Just from this, I am very impressed with this shampoo. To address the hair loss comments, I did not notice any significant hair loss when I used the shampoo. I am the type to shed a lot of hair as it is since I have thick hair. I also wash my hair about once a week, so I tend to lose a bit of hair because of that because stray hairs build up over that time. So this might not be good for someone who has thin hair or shampoos frequently. But for me, it works great. Hair loss was about the same or slightly less than usual. I washed my hair about 5 days ago and my hair is a lot less flakey and itchy. It still feels relatively clean with some oil started to build up on my hair. Used a $400 prescription shampoo for 15 years and of course it worked, however one just can't Afford to keep using a $400 shampoo every day at a 30 day prescription. I got the shampoo and conditioner combo and used it for the first time today. Here are my thoughts: The "tingly" feeling is real. At first I thought it was burning my scalp but it's not. I have extreme dandruff and have tried RX shampoos to help that never worked. My scalp at least "feels" clean. I've seen a lot of reviews about hair falling out and mine did not at all. I have hashimotos disease which causes hair loss to an extreme so I expected clumps again. NOPE. Make sure to brush through your hair before you wash it! This prevents any extra breakage. The small is very strong. I love essential oils for their healing properties but the smells are awful. No exception here! Any tee tree product will smell like this BTW. DISCLAIMER: tee tree can be poisonous in raw form. If you have allergies, do not use this. For people with psoriasis this will not be for you. Keep out of reach from pets as it is poisonous to cats and dogs even as a topical product. Anything with essential oil products can be potentially dangerous and I urge you to research before you buy! For me personally, I think it works great and a lot of the negative comments here are from user error but that's just my opinion.Kelsey

I just bought the shampoo and conditioner and it is soooo good! It smells great and leaves my hair so soft. I have thick and frizzy straight hair and I’ve been looking forever for a shampoo and conditioner that help with the frizz. These products definitely helped tremendously with the frizz and left my hair so soft. The smell is so nice it leaves my hair smelling so clean. The shampoo is so soft and has a great lather. I use to buy the "Hairitage" products because they were good on my hair and scalp. My hair was still dry even when skipping a day or two. I bought these shampoo and conditioner "Hair Food" and I have to say… I'm impressed. My hair is smooth, it's not frizzy (even with the humid air), and it smells so good! I woke up with non-crazy hair. I feel like I don't need to wash my hair the next day and my scalp doesnt feel itchy dry! I've had probelms in the past of my hair falling out, itchy dry scalp, and buying what I think would work. Living in Europe, this conditioner has to be amazing for me to order it twice! It's actually my son, who's 14, who heard about it and since I know he's struggling with his curly, somewhat dry hair and scalp, I wanted to let him try it. He loves it! I have been using the Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo for a month now. I really like the coconut scent, it lathers really well and I was very pleased that a little goes a long way as I have very long and thick hair. I wash my hair every 3rd day, but I wet my hair and condition it every day. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner the 2nd day. I always use leave in conditioner but that day I had to use double the amount of what I normally use. Otherwise my hair felt & looked dry & frizzy. The product definitely did help with detangling my hair, not totally, but to a great enough degree where I was pleased. I didn’t notice any improvement in shine though. I was hoping to experience much more of an overall difference from all the various products I have used in the past. No huge noticeable difference, and more expensive than what I currently use. I love that Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo contain no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil. Thankful to have found and purchased this amazing shampoo. My desire to nourish and manage my natural 4C porosity hair came with a challenge. However, I remembered, that I purchased this shampoo and matching hair masque. However, for the information on Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque, the page is unavailable. My budget is tight at the moment, but I usually save up for what I need. I need the Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque. So I really enjoyed using the product on both my baby girl and my own hair. Because we have very very different hair types, I noticed some important things. She has a healthy head of very fine, very varied coil curls. The shampoo worked great on very wet hair, it lathered well for a clarifying shampoo without turning her hair into dry grass. I rinsed twice to make sure the water ran well and clear. The conditioner was light and moisturizing, as promoted. I took the time to work it into all strands while damp to slightly wet with a curly hair wet brush. Afterward rinsing the conditioner lightly, I put in the styling cream. Here I realized I'd put in way too much, but the effect was still very good. Her curls were less prone to tangling, moisturized and made beautiful defined coils. My hair is fine but wavy, not curly. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. Overall, on straighter finer hair, I'd say use the conditioner thoroughly but rinse very well and easy on the styling cream. I didn't experience any waxiness anywhere.Thali22

It's a bit pricey but trust me its worth it. I was tired of my hair feeling gross, dry on the ends and oily at the roots. I threw away all my other garbage shampoos and I finally found the shampoo of all shampoos. Def sticking with this one a little lathers up a bunch. I can go 2-3 days without looking like an oily mess. And it makes my hair smell soo good. Def worth the money if youre tired of your hair having build up.emily p.
So, I hesitated about writing this review because I don’t like to complain, and I did love this product when I first purchased it. My hair was soft, smelled great, and I even had people commenting on the health & shine it had. I loved this product so much I stocked up on it.
About a year into using this shampoo and conditioner duo along with the leave in treatment I noticed an unusual amount of hair fall. I thought nothing of it assuming it was my hair screaming at me for the heat/hair dye ect. However, I noticed it more and more and after 6 months of extreme shedding I decided I should look into what was going on. First i started taking supplements (Womens vitamins and biotin) assuming it was my dreadful diet to blame. No change. I put a shower head filter in to filter my shower water. No change. Then I went cold turkey on heat styling, and stopped using hair dye. Nothing seemed to help. I even bought different ‘it’s a 10’ products to try to “strengthen” my hair. I attempted to not wash my hair but once a week… still incredible amounts of fall out. I was lost. Finally I changed shampoo. I started noticing in the shower less and less fall out, soon brushing my hair produced less wads of hair to clean from my brush. It seems I have found the culprit. I have spent 6 months trying to identify what I was doing wrong, and all signs point to “it’s a 10”.
I’m posting this not out of anger, or spite, but because everywhere I looked I saw “how great” this product is …. I even asked my hair dresser what she recommended for hair fall and she asked what I use and I told her “it’s a 10” and she raves about how great the product is.
my hair is incredibly thin and I have little baby regrowth. I don’t want someone else to go through what I did and change shampoo when it’s too late. So if u r using it’s a 10 and noticing a lot of fall out… maybe it just doesn’t work for us?

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. It's a shame so many people left 1 star reviews because it just didn't work for them. It would be different if there was something wrong with customer service or the product itself. However, with skin care, nail care, and hair care so much of whether or not it'll work for you is left biology and body chemistry and you have to try different products to find the one that works with yours. So it's really unfair to leave negative reviews on products that don't match up with your unique chemistry.wifeofsauron

my daughter recommended this shampoo along with the conditioner. I was surprisingly disappointed. I of course thought right away that it would be effective based on the cost. Not at all, for starters I felt it made my hair more tangled and hard to manage which concerned me cause I already have course hair and figured how am I going to get out of this tangled mess. The conditioner didn't even help a bit and need I mention that when I tried to style my hair it was never ending. By the time I finished styling and drying my hair, my hair was so dried and brittle and even more course that when I started ugh!!! I learned that cost doesn't mean efficiency at all. Literally the worst expensive shampoo I have ever used. It doesn’t lather that well, and it makes my hair feel tangled, heavy, and sticky after rinsing it out. I was completely surprised that this didn't do for me what all the reviews I read said it would. I understand everyone's hair is different but I read so many reviews raving about this that I had no doubt that this was going to be the best shampoo I'd ever tried. Boy was I wrong… The first issue I had with this was that it didn't latter do a degree that I am used to. I thought I was going to be able to work around this but without the latter I really didn't feel as though it was cleaning my hair. I started with one pump but that really only washed the top of my head- barely. Another pump for my hair (mid back length, curly) which lathered even less on the strands then my scalp. Using two pumps – sometimes three- really doesn't bode well for the life of the product. With that said problem two arose; this barely lasted a month and a half using it every other day. At 24$ a bottle it really isn't realistic for me to keep purchasing when I was having no results and basically dumping it down the drain. Results were really nonexistent, my hair was still frizzy and ultimately more dry than before I started using it. There was no real change in texture in the month I used it. There was no problem for me with the smell like some people had, it just smelled like salon shampoo. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing this again, however I wouldn't tell people to stay away as so many reviewers said that it did wonders for them so I imagine I'm just an off case. This is a great shampoo for people like myself with straight, fine hair but a lot of it. I can actually run my fingers through my hair while washing without any tangling or breakage! I have seen a noticeable reduction in the amount of frizz in my hair after I air-dry it, and it is more manageable to style. It does not seem to weigh my hair down, dry it out, or make it greasy at all, and I've noticed a reduction in breakage and fallout since I began using it. I like that it's color-safe as well; I go to the salon every 6-8 weeks to get my hair colored a dark brunette to add vibrancy to my natural color, and this has not stripped or faded my color at all. I’ll start off by saying the shampoo smells like fresh wall paint. Not overly powerful scent though. It is a nice off white color. It easily spreads on your hair, but I don’t feel it gets it sudsy. The conditioner on the other end, smells like hair dye, from a box you an buy at the store. It’s a creamy white color, and I feel you need a ton to lather your hair up. A positive note, is the longer I left the conditioner in my hair, to condition, the comb glided right through it. No snarls, or knots. My hair didn’t smell terrible when I got out. Just not a strong scent. What I don’t like, is, I don’t wash my hair everyday. Either every other day or every two days. By the second day, my hair feels like straw. I’ve always washed my hair like that and certain shampoos and conditioners, don’t do that. My hair feels dry and dead from using this stuff. I was so excited to try Lange shampoo as I’m in love with all my other styling products. Massive let down here. This shampoo smells nice (hence the one star) but I couldn’t get it to lather to save my life… I used three “normal” sized squirts of what I’d use with another shampoo, still nothing. All of the Lánge products have an amazing smell, this one included. The shampoo makes my hair feel soft and silky, however while washing it, my hair almost feels like it has an oily feel. I like this shampoo but I don’t love it and for that reason not sure I would buy it again. I feel like I have naturally oily hair and can usually go every other day before it starts to look oily to me, and using this shampoo I can’t go a day between washes. Perhaps this product would be great for someone who has dry hair or dry scalp.Katie B.
I purchased this shampoo and conditioner against better judgement. As much as I love Lange's hair tools, not once have I had a good experience with one of their products. And I have tried two heat shields, one leave-in-conditioner, the salt spray, the mousse. There is not ONE product that delivered on what Lange promises through their influencer community. You could say, well, they just had a different experience, right? But then you figure, you can trust the website information for the individual products. My advice? Don't! None of their products can be returned, you will be stuck with them. So, when the website for this shampoo reads: "Free of: alcohol, parabens, and sulfates" and then you get the bottle in the mail and the second and third ingredient is a derivative of alcohol, you feel duped, right? You just coughed up 20$ per tiny bottle and the stuff manages to make your hair greasy at the root and dry at the ends, RIGHT OUT OF THE SHOWER. I give up. I am done with their products for good and I would suggest you don't trust anything you hear and read in their product marketing. This is bad practice and flat-out lying to their customers who then have no chance to get their money back.

I recently became a WOW ambassador. Before this, I was using everything from Suave to Paul Mitchell. I thought everything was the same. I've been using the WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Coconut Avocado Conditioner for the past 2 weeks and absolutely love them! I've used apple cider vinegar on my hair so I was intrigued when I saw this shampoo. This shampoo works gently to clear build-up and dandruff on the scalp and nourish hair. It works into a nice lather a little goes a long way. It's left my hair clean, shiny and soft. The WOW Coconut Oil Conditioner is ideal for dry or stressed hair. When I opened the conditioner I exclaimed "WOW this smells fantastic!" It makes me feel like I'm on an island sitting under a palm tree and relaxing. It smells that darn good! I used the WOW products hoping to improve my dandruff issues and detoxify my scalp. The ACV shampoo lathered well, washed out easily, and left a noticeable apple cider vinegar scent. It made my scalp oily and itchy after a day or two. My scalp is not usually oily. My scalp flaked more than usual. I was using it exclusively, but then I began alternating its use with my usual shampoo, which does not make my scalp oily, because I was concerned that the WOW products were too harsh. The conditioner is very thick. I use it on the ends of my hair, not on the scalp. It has a noticeable coconut scent. The labels state there are no sulfates, but the usual sodium lauroyl sulfate is replaced with Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. I do not know if this is comparatively healthy. It has other chemicals, including sodium benzoate. I did not notice more shine to my hair. These WOW products may not be the best ones for me and my hair concerns. I have experienced a trauma that has caused medical related hair loss too. I bought this shampoo, conditioner & hair tonic. I followed it exactly as indicated for 8wks. I have also been on a medical vitamin regiment. I reordered these 3 products for a second round. There was 1-2 weeks in between 1st & 2nd round. I do not know if these products alone or these products with the vitamin regiment is what is helping, but I can tell an improvement. My hair stylist has confirmed the same. I have been out of the 2nd round for 2-3 weeks. I am now ordering a 3rd round. I have remained on the vitamin regiment. My hair was coming out in handfuls before I started using this. I have only been using this shampoo and conditioner for about a month and I am a believer! I only lose a small (normal) amount of hair when I shower and I don't feel that it's falling out excessively during the day. The reviews are true about this leaving your hair greasy, but after a few weeks of use, my hair has adjusted and is no longer greasy. Take your time really washing your scalp and rinsing, just like your hairdresser would, and you'll be fine. I also switched to a Wet brush made for distributing oil and it has really helped make my hair shiny after using this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is creamy in texture and quite strongly scented like tea tree which I love (but may not be everyone's cup of tea!). It helps clear build-up from my scalp, as promised and doesn't strip my hair color, although I do find it slightly drying – in itself not a problem as the conditioner used straight after balances out the effect. Usually I find it difficult to find an effective shampoo to clear build-up but this one actually does it, and as a bonus I also found it helps keep my scalp clear of the psoriasis that flares up every now and again, possibly due to the Tea tree. With regards to hair fall, I can't say I noticed any difference, but it's possible I just haven't used it long enough. And I don't plan on using it for much longer either because the issue with this shampoo is that whether I use it once, twice or three times per wash, my hair is left feeling/looking greasy and very flat. And no matter how I use it or the duration or frequency of usage, nothing makes a difference. I have naturally curly unruly coloured treated for decades hair that I use hairdryer & straighteners on. I further abuse my hair by swimming outdoors a lot over tge summer in the sunshine. I was a big Aveda Smooth Infusion fan until I finally listened to my Tony & Guy hairdresser & started using these Olaplex products to repair my badly treated hair & maintain the colour. I am now an Olaplex convert. My hair condition instantly improved after one wash, it smooths my hair better than Aveda Smooth Infusion. It is more concentrated that the Aveda Smooth Infusion so a 250ml bottle of Olaplex lasts much, much longer than the Aveda Smooth Infusion. I have just returned from a week swimming for hours everyday in Greece. Chlorine, sunshine, colour treated unruly hair, hairdryer & straighteners everynight = hair abuse I know. I bought this for my wife and she use this with the No 0, No 3, and the No 5. I must say the combo of these together is amazing. Her hair was pretty much destroyed frome excessive styling, blow drying and box dyes. We could totally tell a difference after just one use of these products together. Her hair looks healthier, has more shine and manageability, doesn't look as damaged, she isn't yanking out knots when she wakes up and brushes her hair plus it just feels so soft and looks smooth not frizzy. It seems like the texture, strength, and even the way her hair is laying is totally changing. The smells not over powering which is something we both love because sometimes hair fragrances clash with perfumes but not Olaplex it's perfectly balanced. The bottles aren't the biggest which was kind of a let down but you don't need near as much as other shampoos so it seems like it will last just as long as a big bottle of regular shampoo. It lathers and rinses out amazingly! The pure magic that comes out of those bottles can't be beat and it's so worth it! The duo of the conditioner, shampoo and other products used together can't be matched or beat! Her hair and her self imaging is healing and getting better after each use. I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results. I got highlights in my hair in May and since then, my hair has been the driest it's ever been. I had tried so many different masks, shampoos, conditioners and nothing was working. I would get out of the shower and my hair would be in knots so bad that if I tried to brush it, my brush would get stuck and if I tried to pull, I would loose dozens of strands of hair in one tug. My hair had never been like that and I was panicking. I knew that highlights required maintenance but it wasn't until nexxus that I found a combo that worked for me. I was hesitant to use this shampoo after smelling it, but the reviews are amazing. My hair wasn't damaged, but I could use the extra healthy moisture from this shampoo. After my first use, I noticed my hair felt dryer and almost crispy. I had just colored my hair the day before, so I figured it was that. I used it again 2 days later and it was worse, I now have split ends. I'm working on growing my hair out after damaging and buzzing it off a year ago, so I do not want to have to trim it. I'm using tons of split end mending products now to fix what this shampoo did. Maybe it's too strong for my hair? Well I usually look at ingredient labels, but after seeing reviews of not only this product, but the whole Nexxus line, I thought it wouldn't matter. Title says it all! I bleach my hair (constantly) because I can never seem to stick to just one color. Now when you do this as often as I do your hair starts to not only look like but feel like a broom too. I used this shampoo and the same brand conditioner. After one use it made my hair less frizzy and brought bounce back to my hair, like it actually moves when I do and it's not stiff! Definitely recommend buying multiples of this since it's on sale at the time of writing this (2 for $12!). Although I don't see what some people are upset about as far as their hair going back to being greasy right away, I think it may just be because everyone's hair is different and requires different types of care.

this shampoo is wonderful. i typically keep my expectations low for shampoos that are sulfate free because they never clean my scalp properly. i'm a big fan of maui moisture shampoos, and this shampoo is kind of similar in the sense that it has a nice lather to it despite not having sulfates, and it does a good job at getting rid of grease and whatnot. i have to use about a palmful because i have a lot of hair, but to be honest i don't really mind because it's a cheap shampoo and there's a lot of product in the bottle, so i don't feel like i have to skimp on the product which is nice. it also smells amazing – very tropical and floral. it's a wonderful summer scent. on top of that, it was also actually curl defining! i don't have curls, but i do have wavy hair, and i was so surprised to see how defined my waves were after using this shampoo + conditioner. I wanted to find a drugstore brand curly girl approved shampoo and conditioner. And this shampoo and conditioner is life changing! I had my hair cut as a wavy/curly for the first time and this was suggested by my stylist as a shampoo that is curly girl approved and would work for my 2b thick/coarse wavy hair type. I clarified, washed using the shampoo and conditioner, scrunched with the NYM gel and let air dry. My hair is less frizzy and dries in record time! I’m so thankful to have found this product! Bonus: My legs are very sensitive and the conditioner works as an amazing shave gel! Maybe it’s because it’s more natural, but my legs get painfully itchy at times from shaving (especially in dry winter months) but using this conditioner made me feel like a normal person! 10/10 recommend!EKS
This conditioner is excellent at delivering moisture deep into the hair, and washes away without any sticky/gummy residue like some conditioners do. It has fantastic slip and I would bet that anyone with straight, wavy, or curly (up to 3b-c) hair would enjoy this conditioner. It may not be moisturizing enough for coilies though, I’m not sure. I really like the smell and the value is good. The only down side is the pump- it SUCKS! Once you get the pump working, don’t try to touch it (or god forbid drop it in the shower), or it just won’t work. The nozzle won’t push down to dispense the product. But it’s curly girl method friendly, smells great, conditions the hair beautifully, and is good value. For reference I have very fine, long 2c hair. Worth a try!Yourskindeservesbetter

I like this leave in conditioner it has a water like consistency. It has almost a fruity pineapple scent. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling. It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you. Ok so! I love this shampoo. This has been the only shampoo to clean my hair and bot dry it out. My natural gwols know how frustrating it can be to wash, moisturize and style your hair and then it be dry and toe up the next. I know how it feels to buy a hundred plus dollars of products to be disappointed or mixing them with new products so money isn't wasted. I washed my hair the first day I bought this and fell in love. My hair was soft. It didn't dry out after and the tea tree leave-in…girl use that too! I haven't tried the detailing conditioner yet because they were out of stock when I purchased. Probably because of that half off sale. I did find that this and Taliah's apple aloe deep conditioner work well together. My hair was shiny, easy to comb and style. I also used the Tgin moisturizer. I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I want to note I am leaving this review after a few weeks of using. I like to get a feel. I washed my hair with the Taliah apple aloe shampoo and it was giving dry and not for me. Let me start off my by saying this product is AMAZINGGGGG ! I usually have a very hard time finding the right products for my hair especially when it comes to shampoo . My hair is usually VERY dry and soaks up moisture QUICK most shampoos tend to leave my hair even more dry and brittle feeling. this shampoo along with the conditioner has done wonders for my hair. After washing my hair with this shampoo it’s left feeling so soft and manageable making my hair easier to stay detangingd throughout the wash process ! I have moderately frizzy but mostly straight Caucasian hair and I've been using natural, sulfate/paraben free shampoos for a year or so now. I like TGIN because it makes my hair SUPER silky and soft. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. To the touch and the eye, my hair looks fantastic with this product but I might look for something that doesn't require such frequent washing in the future.Jauhnam8

I was sick a few years back and lost most of my hair. It was growing back slowly. I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner and I'm amazed at the results. For the most part this worked well. It does a decent job controlling frizz and defining curls too. The hold doesn't last long though, I did have to touch up through the day because it didn't hold up. I like it for quick errands around town but not if I need my curls to last all day. I've used other products that I could go 2-3 days with minimal restyling so this wasn't worth purchasing again because it just doesn't last as long as I'd likeMeganB
I found this to be an excellent light conditioner. I have 3 b hair that I bleach and dye fun colors so my hair is a bit damaged, but this product line has been really nice to my hair. The conditioner isn't going to be great for anyone with type 4 hair or above, but it is excellent for waves and 3 type curls because of how light weight it is. I wash my hair once or twice a week. I wash, rinse, condition, detangle, leave on for 5-10 minutes, rinse. I usually put the leave in conditioning treatment from Chi on after but while I am still in the shower. And sometimes I will do a deep conditioning treatment instead to get the moisture kick I need.Kiantewench

I’m so glad I took a chance on this conditioner. I was a bit worried because I have fine, low-porosity 2B/C hair and I thought this might overpower it. It’s been super frizzy and weak because I’ve been over-moisturising it. I’ve tried multiple deep conditioning protein treatments (Shea Moisture yogurt and manuka honey, Lazartigue, Briogeo don’t despair, repair) and even wore a drying bonnet to make my hair more receptive. None of them made much of a difference. Also, I’m quite sensitive to fragrance and get worried whenever people say a product “smells amazing”, as they’ve said about the Shea Moisture and Briogeo masks, which I found quite obnoxious. This one is very fruity and the smell mostly disappears after you rinse it out. It’s pleasant, if a bit odd, but not overwhelming. It’s certainly wouldn’t deter me from using it. All it took was one wash with this conditioner. My hair has transformed into a shiny, smooth mane. I’m so glad I tried it and I’m looking forward to checking out more from this range!Chloe
This is now part of my first-ever STAPLE products. I have never had a staple hair care product. I have odd hair strands that rarely like any mainstream hair care products. But, my hair loves this! I have very fine 3C/4A strands that get extremely tangled. This product MELTS away all the tangles and keeps my hair detangled all week long. I have never experienced a product that could do that for my hair before. The consistency is just like a non-thick yogurt, which my hair seems to love. The directions say to apply to wet hair. Because my hair is so fine, this was difficult even when starting with wet hair. So, I apply to damp hair. If it starts drying too quickly, I apply anyway and then spritz my hair after-the-fact with water or the JBCO water from this line. I seal the moisture in with a light oil/hair grease. My hair loves this combination. Can't wait to see if it helps me retain my hair length more easily. I currently have APL hair. Hoping to reach MBL by year's end.Tasha M.

I purchased both shampoo & conditioner. Before I bought Living Proof 3 purchases ago. I have been on a hunt for a shampoo that would go great with my hair. I wanted to switch off from the drug store products like dove because it was breaking my hair so much & my hair just ultimately got thin wether from bleaching my hair or genetics. Either way we all know that the drug store products can strip your hair. On Living proofs website they have this hair test where it can help you figure out what hair products they have will be good for your hair type. My hair is fine, thin, brittle and super straight. I wanted more fullness in my hair & so far my hair does not have a lot of breakage anymore, I have more hair growth. I wash my hair every 2-3 days (yes, that's still a lot to some of you hahaha) but my hair used to get super oily the 1st day before using Living Proof. Now, I can maintain it within those days & within those days although my hair gets slightly oily it still feels/smells clean. I fell in love with their scent by the way. 8/10 recommend because it is pricey but I think it is very much worth.vb1112
I have thinning hair in some major need of a volume boost. This has definitely helped! The whole experience is such a pleasure. Smells incredible! If you’ve tried any other LP products before, you’ll know what I mean. The shampoo had a nice lather without being too weighty. My hair looked more voluminous and fluffy after use, but not in a major way (see pics). However, it pairs so great with their other volumizing styling products! This is the first time I try a shampoo and conditioner duo from living proof. I have very fine, thin hair that tangles easily and usually volumizing products or thickening products make it more tangled instead of just giving me soft, maneageable volumized hair, but this duo actually worked on my hair. It didn't make it look dull and gave a slight lift that wasn't exaggerated. This shampoo lathered really nicely and made my hair feel clean. I can't use shampoo that doesn't lather so I was satisfied with this one, it wasn't too much or too little. The formula is clear and has a soft fruity scent in my opinion.Sarahg2mua
