I would rate this 10 stars if I could. This has saved my life. I am a avid hair level 10 bleacher and my natural level is a 4. I have tried soooooo many brands and types of shampoo from professional to drugstore n none of them came close to or even done anything to help make my hair not feel like death. I have mediumto normal amount of hair n thickness that is bleached almost white to achieve a deep vivid purple with neon green highlight that I only wash my hair 1 to 2 times a week. So I have to use something that is going to clean but not strip my color and long time locked in moisture. This shampoo provids everything you can dream of. Having read previous reviews I was a little worried the bottle may come having leaked or exploded however my delivery was packaged extremely well therefore no damage or leaks. Looooooooove this. I was using a castor oil shampoo and a few different sulfate free shampoos which worked but Id need tons and tons of moisturizer in my hair after. Seeing a lot of negative reviews regarding this product, and I would like to clarify some things about it so one can make better decisions about haircare. First, it's for colored extremely damaged hair PERIOD. If you research keratin, it's well known for helping hair that's extremely damaged ONLY. Otherwise, if you continue to use it, it will definitely dry out and possibly damage it. This is common knowledge. There are NO SULFATES in this line, nor parabins or silicones. About a year ago during Covid, I had to color my hair and I stupidly did a bayalage at home. Don't ever do this! The bleach frizzed and destroyed my beautiful wavy to curly light brown hair. I tried many products before this, including Redken Color Magnetics. The Joico K-Pak is outstanding, once you understand a few things about these products. Now I only use Joico once per week, and Redken Color Magnetics all other days. NEVER WASH YOUR COLORED/HIGHLIGHTED hair within 24 to 48 hours of having it done. It will destroy the color. Joico is still a great brand. One just needs to be better informed about caring for colored, highlighted, etc. hair. Redken Color Magnetics and Joico K-Pak are the only two products I will use. I am absolutely in love with L’Oréal Color radiance purple shampoo! I have tried MANY purple shampoos and am constantly disappointed when my hair is as brassy as it was before the shampoo. I always love ion products for coloring and toning my hair after bleaching, and this aftercare shampoo and conditioner line proved to be the same.. almost. The shampoo I found worked very well to keep my color bright and non brassy, but it left my hair so dry, even with the conditioner after. I started to mix some of the shampoo in with my Loreal Dream Lengths shampoo and it helped a lot. The conditioner is great for my hair all over, non greasy, conditions well, smells great. But because I'm working on healing my hair in certain areas I ended up using the Ion conditioner on my roots, top of my head to about midway down, where I would add the Loreal Dream Lengths conditioner, which as I state in my review of that Loreal conditioner, it leaves my roots and upper head hair greasy but perfectly midway down to my roots, so it's actually a perfect mix for me. I would use the Ion conditioner all over with not one issue, and sometimes do, but am still working to repair my ends. Overall great product line from Ion. I use Arctic fox hair color to keep my hair. A vibrant mixture of purple and red. Red is a notoriously difficult color to keep in your hair because of its molecular size compared to other colors. It doesn't lock into the cuticle as quickly and this product helps with that. I not only use it right after coloring my hair, I also use it beyond that. Stop changing the formula! It seems like every time I’ve bought this the past year, the formula is different. I received this from influenster for review purposes. I've used this shampoo for over a month so I've had time to formulate a good impression on how it works over a longer period of time. I must preface this by saying that I have very fine, thin hair with semi oily roots and usually I use a shampoo bar because I enjoy products with very little packaging. That said, my favorite bars are not sulfate free and my hairstylist would rather I use sulfate free products on my highlighted/lowlighted hair. First impression: the plastic is recyclable, the product smells really good and the pump is so easy to use, even on wet slippery surfaces. I've been using this shampoo even longer than the conditioner that came with it because it's fantastic. It lathers really nicely for a sulfate free product, cleans my hair well without drying out the ends, and smells heavenly. With the conditioner, my hair looked weighed down but when I stopped using the conditioner and went back to my usual spray leave in, my hair looked soft, smooth and clean – not greasy. I rated this a five because I thought it was a wonderful product and would continue to use it although I have not yet found it in stores near me. Let’s start with this: the smell of this product is sensational. Not fake, not too strong but a nice natural apple smell. When I bought it I wanted to keep my tub clear of piles of bottles, I like a shampoo, a conditioner, my razor, soap and face wash. Leave room for the bubbles and candles and wine glasses, yknow? I was so excited when it actually cleansed my very thick hair while also being very gentle. It also didn’t cleanse so much that your skin over compensates and created extra oil. This is a shampoo and conditioner combo you can use daily, if you want, but if you skip a day of washing, your hair is happy, and if you only co-wash and then shampoo every 4 days or so your hair also looks great. It’s a supermarket shampoo I adore. When my store had them on sale I bought a few to hide under my sink. I love that it’s a pump action, because you can control what you use. I have super long thick hair and I can tell you, no one needs more than 1-2 pumps to wash or condition! Wet your hair and get the shampoo into the roots to clean, avoid your ends. Once that’s done, repeat if you’re that gal, then rinse a lot. Spread conditioner on your roots then add a bit of water to your head again, and work the conditioner up, sometimes use a half extra pump to get all the way to the roots to give them some love but usually they don’t need that.alex.p
Omg! I love this shampoo conditioner!! One of my favorites to grab whenever I'm in Walmart because I don't like most of the cheaper stuff they have but this stuff is a great price great product. I love the way all the different scents smell. But the way my hair feels after using this is so nourished and healthy. It truly feels like food for your hair because it makes my hair soooo happy!! Yup, smells the same as the shampoo that I gave a review on: wanted something that is not coconut scented – but, there is a scent of coconut (?) in this. Do not know if murumuru butter is supposed to smell like coconut? It is not overpowering but it's there. Don't smell any rose scent at all. Packaging is good, no leaks. Size is ok for the price. Haven't really used it enough to say if it works well to help coloured hair. Need to use this conditioner with the shampoo to prevent it from drying out your hair. But my hairstylist tells me to leave off the conditioner for more hair volume. But probably not with this shampoo as it can be drying.iHerb Customer
I switched to love, beauty, and planet about two years ago because it’s been the best sulfate free shampoo for me at such an affordable price. Unfortunately I think they’ve been adjusting their formula because this rose scent now gives my hair a squeaky feeling after rinsing. At first only certain scents like the charcoal and tea tree did this. Then eventually the hemp scent and now the rose one as well. It’s so sad because this brand is my go to. The only scents I get now are the Kombucha and Vegan 5-in-1 and they don’t leave my hair feeling squeaky and dry. I really hope that they don’t eventually do this to all scents as I most likely will have to find another brand, possibly go back to shea moisture which usually breaks the bank.Nicole
Absolutely loathe this shampoo and conditioner. I’m used to sulfate free shampoo, but this stuff has negative 10 lather. To the point I’ll have patches of unclean roots that are still greasy. I have shoulder length, fine follicle but thick, green, hair. I shouldn’t have to use a full handful of shampoo just to get all my roots. Doesn’t do anything to save my color, removes more of my dye than crap like Aussie. I’ve never been so disappointed in a shampoo. The only upside is I can go about 4 days before my hair gets greasy, which most other shampoos will get me to 2 days.Ashley

This is a really nice shampoo. I love the invisible oil line and have used multiple products and they all work so well together. I have dry ends, normal scalp thick wavy hair and wash my hair every 3 or 4 days. On wash days, I wash my hair once, rinse and wash a second time, and this shampoo cleanses all my hair while not drying it out. It foams nicely and leaves my scalp feeling clean without stripping it of any moisture. It does not irritate my scalp either. It works great as a first step before the conditioner from the same line. I received this product complimentary from Bumble and bumble. This shampoo in combination with the conditioner leaves my dry hair so soft and moisturized without weighing down my hair or leaving any residue. My hair feels silky soft and my wavy, dry, frizzy hair looks smooth and healthy. I use a small amount to massage it into my hair and scalp and then rinse. The shampoo has a nice smooth texture and a beautiful light fragrance that is so luxurious. After rinsing my hair feel smooth and I follow with the conditioner to make styling easier. While this shampoo smells lovely it failed in actually cleaning my hair. I have wavy, colour treated hair. My hair is super long (below mid back) and dry from occipital bone down and normal at scalp. I wash my hair every 3rd shower because drying and straightening takes foreverrrrrrr so I need my shampoo to really clean my hair. After using this shampoo once my scalp was oily by the end of my workday on DAY 1! Super annoying when you usually don’t need to wash your hair daily. I think this shampoo would be fantastic for anyone who’s entire head of hair is extremely dry but for me it just wasn’t great. This is literally the best shampoo I have ever used! The smell is amazing, it cleans your hair really well for a fast refresh and the best part about it……no white chalky powder residue! The fact is has no white chalky residue is brilliant for dark hair, as its a huge challenge to really get that stuff out and not look dull or grey. I got the color care travel sizes at ulta the last time I was there when buying other living proof products, I was so stoked! I had just got my hair colored that day and I was leaving for vacation the day after. How perfect was this free goodie! Unfortunately that was the last time i was stoked about this product. It does not lather in the slightest, which i have thick curly hair and I've used no poo products so i wasn't too worried at first, I use a head massager thing in the shower that evenly distributes my shampoo so I don't have to worry about it getting sudsy. But the day after I showered I noticed my hair at the ends felt very dry and my roots were incredibly greasy already. Mind you I usually wash my hair ever 5-7 days so grease on the day after is a real surprise. Thought it must have been something I did, playing with my hair too much or not using the right amount because i was trying to conserve my travel size or sleeping on a different pillow case in the hotel and the different water softener and pressure, whatever. But I've used it three times since then and the same thing has happened. I'm no longer on vacation and the product still sucks. So glad I got the travel size and only got the travel size and nothing bigger so I am done with it and will not be buying again! I had dandruff and frizzy dry ends oily roots every time. Protects Color! Gets an A+ in that department. There is definitely less of my semi-permanent hair dye in the tub when I use this with the companion shampoo. I always save samples of this shampoo and conditioner for after my hair services because I like it so much. The conditioner is advertised as providing light conditioning and that is what it does. My hair needs a much stronger conditioner because it tangles so easily but in those precious days after a fresh coloring this is great.Anonymous

I really wanted to like this shampoo and conditioner based on the reviews. I used it one night, let my hair air dry , and the next morning I was styling and sectioned my hair, and the roots were SO. GREASY. literally thought my hair was still wet. I was picking up my hair from the root to section it and my hands would have residue on them. I thought maybe it's because I let it air dry or didn't get all the product out. So I used it again the next day, rinsed it completely out, blow-dried, and the next day, same thing!!! It is so greasy and feels so gross. Gave it one more try and same thing. I do not have greasy hair naturally, I could go 5 days without washing my hair and barely build up and grease. THIS SAVED MY HAIR. Long story kinda short. In October of last year I bleached my hair 2 times (I know I know) as a result, my hair went from smooth and shiny to dry, brittle, damaged, and stringy. Since October I bought countless numbers of shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners, hair oils, hair serums etc. And nothing NOTHING worked. Some things worked about 40 percent, but nothing restored my hair to its normality until this shampoo and conditioner duo. Purchased this product by accident and love it!!! Grabbed it off the shelf in a rush and was soooo disappointed when I got home. I have super fine straight hair and my kids have fine wavy/curly hair. Anything with oil ibnit makes me feel like a grease ball but not this!!! My hair and my children's hair has never felt healthier! I like this masque, the ingredients are great and it is super thick and detangling but the packaging isn't the best for how thick it is. I have fine but color treated (blonde) dry hair that is fine but I have a lot of hair. The summer thrashed my hair so bad and I could barely brush it dry or comb it out when wet . This mask reversed all of that in 1 use. It's an instant fix type mask. It is too thick to be bottled, it should be a in a jar or tub, so when it gets low, I may remove the top. Very high quality. I've been using this for about a week now and not every day. I am noticing a difference. I can't stop touching my hair because I'm not used to having soft hair. My hair is coarse, curly, color treated, dry. I put this product on wet hair, along with some other products, and it feels incredible. I did an experiment and took out this product, using the other same products, and my hair was feeling coarse and dry on the ends. My hair feels like it can actually blow in the wind and stay soft. The best part is that it suites all hair types. I got oily scalp and problematic scalp and dilute shampoos prior to using them. Unlike other shampoos this prevented my scalp from turning greasy the very next day of use rather it felt softer and smoother than before. Even when I used it post oiling my hair, it removes every bit of it thoroughly without irritating the scalp. After using this shampoo continuously for more than a year not only a quarter of the shampoo is still left but my mother did not get any kind of build ups on scalp which is a common after effect of other shampoosgrissel.c

I'm surprise there aren't any reviews of Tressa Watercolors Color Maintenance Shampoos on Influenster! Two years ago I searched on Amazon for a color depositing shampoo that was 1) Mid price range AND 2) Was a Superior product on the Market. I chose the Hazelnutshade to counteract red tones in my hair after a bad at home hair colorjob. I tried to go from blonde to brown and my hair turned Auburn! This Shampoo turned my hair a rich brown and infused it with shine! I change my hair color completely at least once per year. I have also tried Liquid Fire and Molten Bronze to maintain hard to keep Red! This shampoo is like a demi-permanent hair color! I have used it as a toner and also to maintain color freshness between colorings. This is a great value and also a superior product! Only downside is it can be drying . No worries. Absolutely LOVE this product! I’ve been using this brand for several years, every time I change my hair color and would never want to be without it!! There is a color enhancer shampoo for every color, so you can’t go wrong with this brand. The colors are rich and keep your hair drenched in color prolonging your next visit to the salon. A little side note: I don’t recommend using this shampoo to actually clean your hair. If you’re like me, you have dry hair and depend on richer products to clean and hydrate your hair. I use the shampoo first and followed up with this conditioner and I have to say my hair is very light and bright and feels extremely soft. I really love what this product does for my hair. My hair is silver color and it does start picking up a yellow tone after awhile. I use this conditioner after I shampoo and it takes the yellow out. I only use this one time per week since daily use can leave my hair with a purple cast. Leaves my hair very silky feeling and detangles at the same time. I've been using this shampoo for years since I am a regular lap swimmer. Chlorine destroys my hair. After swimming, the texture is a rough and tangled mess. I use a small amount of shampoo, lather it up, rinse, repeat. Then conditioner. I find a bottle lasts a long time and it really helps to clean and remove chlorine. We swim almost every day and this shampoo works very well to keep the chemicals out of my hair. I wish it was a little thicker to make it easier to use but that's my only complaint. One of our granddaughters has super blonde hair and her hair had turned horribly green from swimming at their local pool. I gave them a bottle of this and after a couple of weeks the green was gone. If they had used it consistently after swimming her hair would not have turned green in the first place. You live and you learn.Beth
