20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Bleached Blonde Hair (Jan 2023 Update)

I am told by my stylist that I have fine hair but a lot of it. I was noticing that I was losing what looked like a lot of hair to me in the shower and in my brushes. I tried some different shampoos and conditioners and none seemed better than the others. I was having a particular problem with tangles when my hair was wet. I have very hard water so that is probably part of the issue. My sister has amazing hair, she grows it down to her waist and donates it to a wigs for kids program. She uses this shampoo and conditioner even though she doesn't color her hair so I tried it and it is working great for me. Detangles, my hair looks healthy, and I see less coming out in the shower and brushes. I use the shampoo and conditioner together every other day. On the in-between day I get it wet and just use a little conditioner from around where a low ponytail would be to the ends for detangling. I thought the fragrance was too strong at first but have gotten used to it now. I would still love a fragrance free or more subtle natural fragrance option but it is getting the results I wanted so I plan to keep using it.Lucy

I have tried many shampoos for my bleached blonde hair. This shampoo works amazing on my dry brittle hair. I personally think it works way better than Opalex. This shampoo leaves my hair silky, smooth and doesn't fade my colored hair either. While Opalex made my hair feel like straw hair. I highly recommend this shampoo if you want silky smooth hair. If your a blonde and need a good purple shampoo. I highly recommend Biolage Purple shampoos. It's the best purple shampoo I've ever used and I've used many. My hair has gotten extremely damaged from using OGX products that currently have a class action lawsuit against them for formaldehyde, cancer causing ingredients & instead of moisturizing & repairing it's drying it from the inside out, causing horrible damage you didn't see starting, until you have a ton of broken hair & even HAIR LOSS!! My hair last year was long to my belt loops. We thought was this because of coloring? Stopped coloring it last year, it's been growing out for awhile. Then for my last "trim" it turned into a chop because I've had really long hair over a decade & never has my hair looked or felt like this. Now my hair is right above my shoulders. I got this product due to a lot of good reviews. I use professional purple shampoo but ran out so figured id give this a go. MISTAKE. After 3 uses my hair is falling out in huge clumps, like cleaning your hairbrush once a month clumps. It's horrible! The smell is so chemical smelling and when trying to wash it out my hair felt like straw and I couldn't even put my fingers through it!!! I had to add conditioner on top of the shampoo just to be able to break through and wash the shampoo out. Worst mistake and I'm taking it back to ulta. Why is this product even a best seller? Be careful and mindful when purchasing this do your research on the ingredients and what is used to make this product work as I wasn’t aware it would quit literally strip my hair of thousands of dollars worth of work away from my hair …. this product has like a lightning agent in it as it bleached my roots and made my hair super ugly …. and quit literally damaged your hair it did this in as little as 3 minutes for me … so be careful not sure who this product work for ? Or why or what it’s intent is ?? but I thought it was a toner but it does the opposite it like strips / bleached ur hair leaving more work to be done … and patches !! Quit literally ruined my hair … maybe it’s for super platinum all over blondes it just lights and ads the smallest of tint tone to it.. if your looking at taking out any temporary colours like pinks or any playful colours off your ends to put another colour in this would help that and help get it out as it has stripping and bleach agents only thing I would use it for.Customer

so for the past around 8 years I've been using Shimmer Lights, since everyone would recommend that to me. Recently I tried Matrix purple shampoo, which worked the same way as shimmer lights. Where if you leave it on too long, you get purple hair… and I thought that was the case with all purple shampoo. Until I watched a Brad Mondo video and he reviewed this shampoo and it looked great in the video. But was it in real life…? My hair is a little yellow too after the bleach, which the shimmer lights, would just turn it to purple, which I thought was better then yellow. Finally tried this shampoo, and it takes a couple uses, esp since I had tinted purple hair as well. But it became a nice white platinum color as stated. Which was super shocking to me, that it never left any tint of purple, no matter how long it was on for. Brad mondo, referred to the scent as candy, i would say it's more of a floral scent. Doesn't feel as damaging as shimmer lights either. And around the same price range too, which is nice. I will definitely be turning over to this shampoo from now onJillian

Me and my very expensive balayage highlights are so glad we tried this shampoo! I would totally buy it again and have already recommended it to anyone with ears and gray or highlighted or blonde hair! It smells amazing and I see an instant brightening go my highlights… I mean Hey, if your going to spend an arm and a leg getting great highlights, you should have the most amazing tools to care for them. I feel this really helped with damage from bleaching also. 5 stars! With a reputation for excellence like Kerstase has – I dont know why I am surprised! It just really blew my mind! I received this product in exchange for a review. This product works pretty well but not out of the ballpark amazing. I am 6 months pregnant right now and currently have a hard time keeping up on my platinum blonde hair. That being said thai product is pretty concentrated and does it's job pretty well for the ends of my hair that are still very much blonde. I really don't like the smell of this shampoo I think it is overwhelmingly resemblance of being in a salon and am pretty glad the scent does not continue far beyond the rinse. As for if it improved my hair structure I would say I didn't see any improvement there at all but I still have a full bottle despite using it daily. The yellow tone though is pretty much gone though. I would recommend it if it were drastically price cut because the price tag associated with this product is way too high in my opinion I've used other products under 10 dollars with the same results that you can easily pick up at your local store.Hefaroni26

I know the going trend is purple/grey platinum blonde, which I don't think this would be the best for, but if u want to keep your warmth without being brassy, this works better than any purple shampoos I've used. I have a lot of Irish heritage, pale skin and eyes, lots of light freckling in sun touched spots and firey red and gold inside my naturally brown follicles that shines very brightly in sun light. The warmth has become more pronounced with age and even the stripes of brunette that are left untouched after doing lightening balayage are a redening chestnut/auburn. the warm blonde really compliments my coloring so I'm not complaining, I just don't want it to be too yellow or too brassy. all of the other purple shampoos I have tried made my hair look almost green, even redken which I read was specifically recommended by experts for warm blondes, and it didn't matter how quick I rinsed it out after applying,, it clashed with my hair coloring so badly.. I hated it. I was so thrilled to try this and find it actually worked perfectly, no brassy-ness or ugly yellow, just perfectly golden honey warm blonde and auburn/chestnut. I love ash blonde and the purple tinted platinum but this happy accident of a warm hair color works better on me than I'd have imagined and I'm so thrilled to find a way to maintain it. idk about it being drying like some others said, I've found all purple shampoos to be a little drying, I assumed because they lather so well and also I do a pre-wash so there's no product impeding it. having color treated hair, I always add lots of super conditioning products, hydraters and proteins treatments before I'm done on wash day and also being a warm blonde, I only use purple shampoo once a month, preferably when it's time for a clarifying cleanse and I do an oil treatment the night before. I have been using the Goldwell Dual senses shampoo and conditioner for blonde/highlighted hair for less than a month. However, on the first use (this was in the salon) my hair looked instantly better. It was smooth, no build up, shiny, soft and manageable. Prior to this my hair looked unclean, had serious build up, and was difficult to manage. Another plus is that you only need to use a very small amount. I imagine that for natural blondes or those with less dominant hair, it would do a wonderful job of removing brassy and yellow tones. Please do not buy this if you have curly hair. I recently got a balayage and i wanted to make it a bit healthier so i got this because of the great reviews. I saw one bad review saying it burned their hair and they lost their curls. I chose to ignore that bc most reviews were really good. I used this as instructed on the bottle and i only used 10mL (up to the first line) so not too much product. It felt really hot as soon as i applied it which I thought was odd. I proceeded to washing it off and in the shower while wet it felt soft and hydrated so i was happy. After i got out of the shower and began brushing it, tons of hair started to fall out and my hair normally doesnt shed. Then i started to notice how stringy it got, it was so fragile it kept breaking. It then started to get really frizzy and my curls were gone. I applied leave in conditioner from shea moisture to try to help and although it did help a little with moisture, my curls are basically gone it looks like i have huge heat damage and they all look crumply. I have no defined curls anymore. Extremely sad but i will work to get them back just dont make my same mistake.Liz

I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. Docked a star because the smell is a bit strong on the harsher side – almost like pickles! It doesn't seem to make my hair smell but it's a bit rough when it is sprayed. Using this on my hair after using chemicals I can tell it's pretty gentle and seems to strengthen it a bit. I’ve been around the block when it comes to purple shampoos and this is one of the best ones I have tried, if not the best. I think one of the most annoying things about purple shampoos is how drying they can be on the hair but after using this my hair actually felt more hydrated. The toning on my hair was pretty significant as well, even without having my hair done in 4 months. When using purple shampoo I like to let it sit on my hair for a few minutes in the shower before rinsing off. I’ll admit I didn’t have high hopes for this but after using it it will definitely be a new staple in my routine! I actually really liked the way this product made my hair look. I was going for the silver/lavender color so it was perfect. Although, it didn't last long so I was using it about 2-3 times per week for the recommended amount of time in the instructions. I used it for a little over a month. I did notice my hair was getting dry and over time there was more and more hair in the shower drain after washing. I did conditioning treatments between uses thinking this would help but it didn't. My hair then started looking and feeling thinner. The next thing I knew there was a slight bald patch on the crown of my head. I panicked and stopped use immediately. After just 2 weeks of not using this product I can already tell my hair is healthier and there is no more hair coming out in the shower or my brush. … can turn hair light purple if used too often. I highlight my hair very light and hate to see any tones of gold or red and I've tried multiple purple shampoos that can be very drying. This one is not as bad as the others in terms of drying my hair but it turns the lightest pieces lavender. I don't know if this happens to everyone but for me it did so I find that I don't use this for every shampoo and I suggest for people who do highlight their hair very blonde they shouldn't wash their hair too often because it's drying. I find that when I switch between this and a good clarifying shampoo, my color lasts longer without getting brassy and I just watch how long I keep it on the front really light pieces. Bold Uniq Purple Shampoo for Blonde Hair This Bold Uniq Purple Shampoo is pretty amazing stuff and very easy to use. It will do different things and have different effects depending on what your hair color and condition are to begin with — so go slow. I say that because I read online where people had not followed the instructions on the bottle (or had not used the gloves which come inside the package) and their results were not always what they expected. I would definitely read and follow the directions, which are very clear and concise. I also chose to follow the instructions which said to try the product for only a short time as you first use it, so that you can get an idea of what it will do to your hair in your particular case. Some people have talked about using it on wigs and ending up with a more permanent purple hue – one that they were not expecting. I’m glad I read that first, as I might have tried it on some hair extensions which I own — but now I think I would not go that direction. The product is a very dark purple and has a nice scent. I did use a nice, strong moisturizing conditioner after trying the purple shampoo, as I felt it was rather drying and I didn’t want to damage my hair in any way. My hair used to be blonde but has become somewhat darker and more brassy with age. I was pleased with the way this shampoo worked to remove the brassy tones from my dark blonde hair. I can imagine it would work even more effectively on lighter blonde and platinum hair shades. A friend of mine has lovely silver hair, and she was the first one to mention purple shampoos to me – which is what got me interested in trying them to see what effect they would have. Out of 3 blonde shampoos, this is honestly the best I've tried. I was set on the Paul Mitchell violet shampoos when I began highlighting my hair, once I went full platinum I stocked up on the Not Your Mother's blonde shampoo, but none really seemed to keep my color 'natural' looking or vibrant. I actually received 2 sample bottles of this from Ulta's beauty bag promotion, and I am stretching it out as far as I can! I've actually found that I really do *not* want to go back to the PM or Not Your Mother's products after this, they simply don't cut it. Being platinum requires a lot of upkeep and I believe this particular brand does deliver the "perfect blonde". My hair, with other products, tends to fade to a yellowish uneven looking blonde after several months, something I'm not satisfied with; using this product I noticed an immediate result and my hair looked more ashy after wash rather than a yellow or gold. It keeps my platinum looking vibrant but I would NOT recommend for daily use! I try to shower every 3 days so I don't strip the color from my hair, and use this every other wash. Be sure to actually leave the product on your hair for the allotted time as it actually does need the time to absorb. Beware! It WILL tint your hands! I used a bit too much one wash and it also left a purple tint in a few spots on my hair, however this was not a permanent nor lasting effect. To deter from the purple, I, like other users, mix this in with my daily shampoo to create a lather. I had been on a personal quest to find my perfect purple shampoo for over 5 years, so I have tried many different products ranging from high to low price tags. I used the product initially like the bottle says, lather and then rinse. However that was not long enough. I don't have super yellow hair to be honest. Its a pretty dull blonde but still super blonde. I wanted a more ashy, calm blonde, whatever that means. Anyway i found what worked for me after (three times!) was leaving it in 10 minutes. Everyone's hair is different but I left it in for ten minutes twice and finally got the result I wanted. I have naturally curly unruly coloured treated for decades hair that I use hairdryer & straighteners on. I further abuse my hair by swimming outdoors a lot over tge summer in the sunshine. I was a big Aveda Smooth Infusion fan until I finally listened to my Tony & Guy hairdresser & started using these Olaplex products to repair my badly treated hair & maintain the colour. I am now an Olaplex convert. My hair condition instantly improved after one wash, it smooths my hair better than Aveda Smooth Infusion. It is more concentrated that the Aveda Smooth Infusion so a 250ml bottle of Olaplex lasts much, much longer than the Aveda Smooth Infusion. I have just returned from a week swimming for hours everyday in Greece. Chlorine, sunshine, colour treated unruly hair, hairdryer & straighteners everynight = hair abuse I know. I bought this for my wife and she use this with the No 0, No 3, and the No 5. I must say the combo of these together is amazing. Her hair was pretty much destroyed frome excessive styling, blow drying and box dyes. We could totally tell a difference after just one use of these products together. Her hair looks healthier, has more shine and manageability, doesn't look as damaged, she isn't yanking out knots when she wakes up and brushes her hair plus it just feels so soft and looks smooth not frizzy. It seems like the texture, strength, and even the way her hair is laying is totally changing. The smells not over powering which is something we both love because sometimes hair fragrances clash with perfumes but not Olaplex it's perfectly balanced. I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I received the L'Oreal Paris EverPure Glossing System on 22 February and began using it on 23 February. Because I wanted to give this product a fair shake, I stopped using any other haircare products during this trial, and used the EverPure system exclusively, with the exception of one moisture treatment halfway through the trial. The Shampoo has a light, pleasant, floral scent, lathers well, and rinses easily. In the beginning, it left my hair feeling dry and matted, though this was quickly remedied by the Acidic Glaze and Glossing Conditioner. After 3 or 4 uses, as my hair grew accustomed to the product, the matting stopped and my hair was much softer, even before conditioning. While I did not find the Shampoo extraordinarily hydrating for my fine, dry, color-treated hair, I will say it adds exceptional shine without any feeling heavy or greasy, and my hair color has not faded through this trial. I would recommend this line for those without extreme damage and would use it as a daily shampoo conditioner with additional weekly moisture treatments. I received this product free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This system includes the shampoo, glaze, and conditioner. I’ve been using all three products about 3x per week for about a month now. Right off the bat, I noticed the wonderful scent. It reminds me of the perfume “Calyx”, a very bright, citrus, and green scent. The scent is one of the best qualities of this shampoo and it does linger through the day! The shampoo lathers up very nicely and rinses clean. The glossing glaze is easy to use and using it doesn’t lengthen shower time since I usually just shave and wash during the treatment time. I layer the conditioner over the top of the glaze pretty immediately and allow the two products to work together. After about 4 minutes, I rinse all products out of my hair. My hair has been super soft since using this color care system. My color seems brighter and has had less fade than with other shampoos and conditioners. The only negative I’ve noticed is that my hair tends to appear dirtier quicker. That is likely because it is a gentler product and less stripping to the hair. Overall I’m happy with this set of products. I would repurchase- especially after a fresh highlight application.sara.s

This wasn't for my blonde highlights I am hispanic and on my 3rd lifting process so not lifted enough for this product to work. The reason I am giving it 5 stars, 1st the few lightest ash blonde strands I had did look great got rid of yellow tone, my hair felt incredible soft to the touch, smells great. For me, this product is an absolute winner. I have ashy highlights which just love love love to go yellow on me. In one shampoo, leaving it on for just one minute, it toned them down. By the second, leaving it on for two minutes, they're almost perfect. Next time, I will leave it on for the full three minutes, but I preferred to go slowly just in case my results were not as expected. My highlights look so good, it looks as though I went to the salon and got them toned. That is how good it is. A few tips for those who have complained about this shampoo. First, it is Sulfate free AND silicone free. It is a color toning shampoo, NOT a conditioning shampoo. I shampooed right before using it with Living Proof Restore, and then did a solid, good conditioning, my hair was left in great shape. It also lathered just fine. If you hair is full of silicone residue, then maybe this shampoo is not enough to remove it. If you are not used to a sulfate and silicone free shampoo, you may feel like your hair is straw, but honestly, it feels like many other sulfate and silicone free shampoos if you don't condition. If you want a conditioning type of product there are other purple shampoos and conditioners that promise more conditioning. I LIKE this one BECAUSE I can then continue to use my own conditioning regimen. Second, I wore gloves just to be sure the first time. No purple lingered on my hands at all, but, I was sure to rinse them off after applying and lathering and again after rinsing. No staining at all Third, was with any toning shampoo, I suggest starting slowly to see how your hair reacts. Those folks who left it on five or ten minutes the first time – well, you can't blame your oddball results when the instructions say leave on one to three minutes!SuzySM

I'm SO HAPPY I went through with buying this product. I was extremely hesitant after reading all the reviews about how it stained peoples hands/scalp, caused burns, and caused hair loss. The back of the bottle does recommend spot testing first to make sure you don't have a reaction, so if you're worried about that then definitely do a little test first. It did leave my hands a bit purple, but the purple washed off after the rest of my shower and it's definitely worth it for how good my hair looks now. I have not experienced any of the other symptoms, and this product has taken the gross yellow tone out of my bleached hair, and it looks like I just got it toned at the salon! It also looks and feels so incredibly healthy even though it has been bleached. I've already had people comment on how good and shiny it looks, and I've only used it twice. It works great as a shampoo too, although I'm considering buying the No. 4 without toning for my scalp and saving the purple shampoo more for the lighter ends of my hair/using it as a weekly treatment for toning. Very happy with this purchase and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to tone their bleached blonde!Sam

THE most effective toning shampoo I’ve ever tried! I am a big fan of [brand:olaplex] products (with the exception of and [brand:olaplex] No 6 Bond Smoother 100Ml). I’ve used multiple bottles of the [brand:olaplex] No 4 Bond Maintenancetm Shampoo Mini 33 Oz/ 100 Ml before, so I was excited to try this purple toning version. I use this as much normally would when on the shampoo step, maybe I let it sit a couple minutes more but does not take much time to make a difference in terms of neutralizing any warmth. I only shampoo my base and not the ends, rinsing the shampoo out is enough to cleanse my ends. My hair feels thoroughly cleansed, silky, and hydrated. This formula is gentle and does not make my hair dry or difficult to comb out. The formula is perfect thick and lathers very nicely. I would this this is most effective for level 9/10 blondes, but perhaps would neutralize subtly on darker levels. Be prepared to rinse your shower down bc you will get dark purple spatter from using. I have not noticed any staining to my shower walls.andria.k

To be honest I think it left my hair more brassier than it should be. It was a baylage that needed some help because it was getting brassy so I picked this product. I regret it because I think it made the blonde in my hair darker and brassier. When you have product in your hand its like a purple/blue color, once you have it in your hair it’s purple for a couple seconds and once you lather it into your hair the shampoo’s soap bubbles it’s white? If that makes sense. I feel like it does nothing but make my hair dryer and more brassier. I would pass on this purple shampoo.Sofia

It’s official, I have found my new favorite purple shampoo! I love Nexxus so I couldn’t wait to try their purple shampoo on my hair. I have colored hair so it tends to get brassy overtime in the highlights, with just ONE wash it toned the highlights right back to their beautiful tone they should be and left my hair feeling healthy and soft. This shampoo smells fantastic and you don’t have to use much to get the desired effect. I think that for the quality of Nexxus it’s an absolute must have for blondes. This is the first purple conditioner I have ever tried that is actually hydrating. Purple hair care products are often so stripping and drying (in my past experience). I was pleasantly surprised/amazed at how much I enjoyed this and how gorgeous my hair looked after using it! I received several compliments. It is a fantastic bottle. I bought this yesterday and washed my hair and it was soft and super shiny. Dampened my hair the next day and blow dryer it and it is fantastic! My color is so vibrant! For those that reviewed and don't see any highlighting results could be because of build up if you use a lot of products. I haven't tried it but maybe do the Sunday shampoo and then the Blonde shampoo. I am multiracial and color my own hair and this has worked wonders. I love this brand anyways. It never fails! I am a big Bumble and Bumble fan so naturally I was very excited to see they now have a purple line for blondes. I’ve tried a ton of purple shampoos over the years and this one is good! It smells good and the smell lingers for a while. It’s also the perfect richness as far as color goes. Lots of purple shampoos aren’t dark enough and therefore don’t do a good job at actually cancelling out the brass. Not this one! I think you get a good amount of product for the price. My only complaint is that it does leave my hair feeling a bit on the dry side which is very typical for a purple shampoo. I see that they also have a conditioner in the purple line that I will be grabbing next to hopefully fix that problem. Since most shampoos and conditioners work best as a system, I’ll bet that help! Overall, I am very happy with the Supernova Blonde Toning shampoo, however, I am not fully blonde and only have partial-saturation balayage highlights. The product leaves my hair feeling clean but not overly stripped like many shampoos out there. I am confident that you could use this daily with no issues, however, I personally use two dime-sized amounts once a week (per Brad's instruction on his YouTube). Instructions for use are noticeably absent from the back of the bottle, which I would like to see on all XMONDO products in the future just so I know I'm doing the right thing, but for now, Brad's separate instructions for how to use any shampoo work just fine. The scent, as with all XMONDO products, was amazing and lingered on my hair just enough to cover up the natural oil smell of your hair, but the scent wasn't overly powerful at all, and I think anyone who is particularly sensitive to fragrance will be just fine. The product is a little watery compared to most shampoos I have used, and I would like to see future versions be a little thicker as I notice I tend to lose a bit to my shower floor since it is runny. This is a minor concern, and it's not like the shampoo is the consistency of water or anything, it could just stand to be a little thicker. Next: the clear absence of surfactants (for reference, these are the chemical compounds that make a product lather in your hair, for example, shampoos usually have quite a bit of these in them, and conditioners have none or almost none.) Brad has stated before that he uses surfactants in his shampoos but not as much as other companies since they are unnecessary to the function of the product. I believe this is true for every shampoo from XMONDO except for this one. In general, you really only need to shampoo your scalp and roots, and the rest of your hair will get washed as you rinse out the shampoo. However, since this is a color-care product, even distribution throughout the scalp, mids, and ends is necessary so you can cool-tone all of your hair instead of just your scalp. As a result, I wish this shampoo had enough surfactants so that I could successfully lather all of my hair with the product in much less time than it currently takes. My final note is on the packaging. This (to my knowledge) is the only XMONDO shampoo that comes in a pump bottle (like lotion) rather than a squeeze bottle (like conditioner). I love the idea of a pump bottle, it makes it so much easier to dispense the product, however, this is clearly a low-quality pump. Rather than be completely sealed, the pump is open to the inside of the bottle, which allows product to slowly come out over time onto the pump, it won't leak everywhere though, and I haven't lost any product as a result, it's more of an aesthetics and neatness thing. If you travel with this shampoo or have to put it in a bag, definitely put it in a Ziploc bag too. You cant twist the pump to turn it off like on most pump bottles, which isn't super necessary but I would like to see nicer pumps on the packaging next time around. I found this out after having some of the product leak in my suitcase, but I can't really complain about having my luggage smell like XMONDO as the scent is amazing. Regarding the products ability to tone hair: It does amazing things for my hair. Keep in mind I have balayage highlights and not fully blonde hair, but for me at least, it has extended the life of my color far beyond how long I thought it would last, and has prevented it from becoming brassy for months now. Even though I wrote a harsh review, it's only because XMONDO produces great products at a high price point, so I have high standards. For those of you not here for a long review… I'll just say that this product will give you everything that you want and more. My hair literally felt smoother, softer, and more healthy than it ever has after using this product, and that's not even what it's for! It was like getting a conditioner mask put on your head while you're shampooing and the results were amazing! My hair looks more vibrant than it has in I don't know how long. For the longer story goers: I didn't know anything about Brad until this year when I found him on Snapchat, since then I have watched every single one of his videos on YouTube and anywhere else I can find him for tips, tricks, and laughs. This is the first XMONDO product I have ever tried, and I am obsessed with it. Honestly I'm contemplating switching all of my products over to this line at this point because I'm so amazed at the results that I got. They are ok… I do love the smell though, so kudos on that! I got them right after being at the salon, so not sure how well they will perform after I start to "yellow". I have used them twice since I have gotten them. Two things I have noticed. First is getting the pump to work smoothly. It is very difficult to pump them, and then they take a long time to "reload" to get the next pump, if that is what you want to call it LOL! I also expected them to work together to condition better. My hair feels very dry and like straw after using them. Yes I am bleach blond, but my hair is pretty healthy and I do not bleach at home. My hair feels softer when I used my normal conditioner (I use the same conditioner no matter which of my other purple shampoos I currently rotate and use because it works very well with my hair). All in all for the price, and for being Brad Mondo (LOVE), I was really expecting more, so I'm sad. I doubt I will be ordering it again once I use it all, unless I can see it take out the yellow super well when I do yellow between appointments to the salon.On another note, I was super excited to see it came with stickers on other reviews! Low and behold, mine did not come with stickers. Very sad. Holy COW , this WORKS !!! I have struggled to find a purple shampoo that actually does anything. A little background on my hair. I often will go get my hair done and then life will happen and it’ll be like 9 months to a year before I get back around to coming back again. I thought my brassy, horrific mop was beyond saving but I was wrong. I tried this in the shower and didn’t lather up with it. I smoothed 2x the amount I would use to wash my hair throughout, concentrating on the ends especially. I then went about washing my face and body. I probably left it on about 6 minutes. The first time I used the shampoo I didn’t see a huge difference and I thought well okay I expected that. But the SECOND time I used this as I described, the next morning I woke up and every single bit of the brassiness is gone. I am shocked. My blonde is gorgeous and icy again. The only thing I don’t like about this shampoo is that, while it is not drying, it leaves a weird film on the hair. But that could be removed by doing a second wash with a different shampoo. I used this product on my brown hair to blonde bayalage. I had very prominent yellow streaks in parts of my hair that hadn't been bleached before so with proper maintenance I used this product and the shampoo 2x a week and it kept the yellow from coming through for about a week before I would have to use it again. went through the entire bottles, never wasted a drop. Also, fragrance was a nice change from all of the chemicals smelling ones I used in the past. Texture was soft and it did not dye my hands. Conditions EXCELLENT feels so soft.Sierra D.

I love my blonde hair, but it can be a pain to keep up with. The regular shampoo will start to turn my hair brassy, but this Blonde Moment conditioner helps kick out that brassiness and make my hair look like I just had it done. I decided to try this shampoo for extra toning when trying to maintain an icier blonde shade between appointments with my colorist. It is among one of the more potent violet shampoos and will help enhance your blonde. It is also less drying than another violet shampoos on the market, which is another plus of this product. I was given this as a gift. At the time, I had deep purple hair. This shampoo really helped at keeping my color in check. Mine has a pump dispenser, which makes dispensing very easy for me. I don't like that the dispenser dripped every so often at inopportune times, like when no one was in the shower. This shampoo stains, so after shampooing, you need to rinse off your hands pretty darn fast. I love the smell, the color and the way it leaves my hair sof. I'm down to a 1/4 bottle now. I'm going too purchase my own this time. I'm satisfied with this shampoo![laura.f
