First off I thought this was like a thick lotion or cream and no, it is not.. so you’re gonna have to buy a squirt bottle or a mister of some type to go along with this product.  when you shake the bottle it sounds like water but giiiiirl it is not! I like this leave in conditioner it has a water like consistency. It has almost a fruity pineapple scent. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling. It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you. Please I beg you don't ever change or tamper with this product line, it's absolutely perfect. I have very fine hair and not very much of it either. I've tried everything over the moon and deduced my poor hair quality to a bad luck of the draw – that is ultra-fine hair. I've been working in the hair industry for about a decade and have tried many many shampoos, my favorite shampoo is about $100 for 33 floz of shampoo and conditioner and it is very moisturizing but it has keratin and protein so when I need a shampoo strictly for moisture when I have protein overload, I discovered this! I went through every brand at the store to find a sulfate free shampoo that was hydrating, low in chemicals, fragrances and silicones and something that actually cleans the scalp. It's winter so my hair can become very dry as I have more textured hair, It is a great shampoo to remove oils, buildup, product and pollution. It is also very light because the first ingredient is aloe. and it has a surfactant but so it does soap up a little bit but it is not sulfate so it will not dry out your scalp. At its price tag, I really am so glad we found this because a little goes a long way. I do recommend finding another shampoo for some protein and keratin, but this is a good cleansing shampoo. This product is in my everyday haircare routine. It's an all natural ingredient shampoo and doesn't contain sulfates or silicones. This shampoo is also color-safe friendly. The shampoo itself works well for stripping product buildup, cleansing the scalp, and leaving your hair feeling clean. It lathers really well into hair. The only semi catch is that it washes and rinses better with cold water over warm or hot. The smell is amazing, I wish it was a little more potent, but if your pair this shampoo with it's conditioner in crime (as I do) the smell balances out. As should be said this product alone, like I mentioned works well, but it works best with the paired conditioner. Great size, scent is ok. ive used it twice now and the quality is not the best. It does cleanse the scalp. But it made my hair very dry and brittle afterwards. Even with the hydrating conditioner. if you have a sensitive scalp i would not recommend this. Very harsh and irritating but, ive noticed that i Dont feel as much of the build up products anymore. I used this product about a year ago. I saw it online and couldn’t resist the deal. 25 ounces of sulfate free, silicone free shampoo for about $8! What a steal! Well, the only thing that was truly stolen was my $8 and I want it back. Lol! This stuff smelled so bad. It was like a strong, sickly sweet, fake coconut smell. I thought maybe it just smelled that putrid in the bottle so I decided to wash give it a try. That smell got even stronger as I washed my hair! I just wanted to see if there was something on the market that could help me out. That's when I saw an ad for this shampoo so I decided to try it out. I noticed it has a lot of strong ingredients in it. It puts out a strong vaporing feeling when I rub the shampoo in my hair. It makes my hair really thick that I need to use a lot of hair conditioner to get all the tangles out. I like the product. I usually have a great experience but this time was not the case. I had an address change in the middle of an order and changed it in my account and chatted with someone and gave them the new address. The person assured me the product would be shipped to the new address. Unfortunately it was not. So I had to travel back to the old address where it was shipped and get it. Luckily it was in the same state. It is a great product though. I lost 3/4 of my hair after being VERY SICK and getting treatment for covid. After taking supplemental pills (Biotin and Keratin) and using the shampoo 9- 10 months later it is coming back and possibly thicker than before. Look at all the new growth. I ended up buying this product from the company as Sephora is always out of stock. I have colour-treated, very fine, mostly straight, thinning hair, and a normal (not oily or dry) scalp. I liked this product at first–gave me noticeable, above-average, volume, and it appeared healthy. However, over time (about three months) it has severely dehydrated my hair and stripped the colour. The dehydration is now making my hair look even thinner. Perhaps it might work for people with no tendency toward dryness or are willing to use a very hydrating conditioner with it (though in my case heavy conditioners deflate the volume). I took a chance years ago! My frizz is under control just by shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels LIGHT (not weighed down by other frizz products). Now for a moment (or more accurately, more like several moments, as my review style tends to be on the longer and detailed side, generally) of truth for some of you who may have read my reviews on the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler I received from Influenster recently may have been waiting for – here are my current thoughts and opinions on the Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo, which I also recently received in my Influenster VoxBox for testing purposes in exchange for my honest and complete review. Overall, there were and are quite a number of things about this shampoo with regards to the way it works with my current (used to be different when I was younger) hair type and condition. My current hair type of relatively thin/fine, ever so *slightly* wavy when it has not been straightened, and sort of a 'combination hair' type – tending to be drier and more prone to breakage near the tips, yet more oily to regular (depending on the day, time of day, weather, my activity level that day, etc) near the top/roots/my scalp area. Some of the things I loved most so far about this after having used this shampoo for probably about seven times or so since receiving it (sometimes my hair gets so oily towards the top – in the summer particularly, that I have to wash it twice a day!) are the light and pleasant, slightly fruity smell (it makes me think strawberries, somewhat), the smoothness of the product, how nicely it lathers, and how it, in combination with the Pureology Strength Cure Conditioner and Miracle Filler products that I also received from my box already seemed to have been making it significant difference to my hair's softness, strength, shine, and overall feeling of increased health. The main thing that I found problems *for me personally* about this shampoo, was that, while it generally has seemed to work very well for the mid-shafts to ends/tips of my hair in terms of nourishing and cleansing properties, unfortunately I found that on a number of occasions, it has not been quite cleansing or clarifying enough near my roots/scalp area for me to feel that that area of my hay was thoroughly clean – therefore, I personally had to either mix or follow up this shampoo with a different shampoo that I have found more clarifying for me personally (recently I have been using an Aussie brand shampoo – I think a volume one, but I can double check on that later). This is my genuine experience with the product so far, and I do hope it has helped you out too! My ethnicity is Asian – Chinese, specifically (my mother is from Hong Kong), and of European Jewish descent on my father's side of the family. Hopefully that may also help give you some baseline information about where my mixed-ancestry hair type originates from. This is a product that I would recommend most for people with regular to drier hair *or* for those of you who are like me with the 'combination hair' I described above, something that would be good to use on the mid-shafts to ends/tips of your hair. Shampoo looks pretty peachy pink and smells delicious. The smell is not overpowering and does not linger long. The shampoo lathers pretty well so I need less product than most of the drugstore shampoos. Which makes me happy as it makes it worth the price. This 266ml bottle lasted me almost 6 months. Shampoo is clarifying and is supposed to remove product buildup which it does perfectly. It reduced my hair breakage and my hair felt less frizzy. But I found the shampoo to be a little too strong for my sensitive scalp. Specially in winters it gave me dry flakes and aggravated the dandruff. Although in warmer months I did not face this issue. First, a bit about my hair – so, you have a sense of comparison. My hair is straight and fine, but I have a lot of it, and it has been colored for years and years … everything from fashion colors to varying highlights to my current platinum hair. Basically, my hair was damaged, weak, and tired, my ends were incredibly dry, and, at one point, I even had massive breakage (as in clumps of hair breaking off when I brushed my hair – see photo). I have tried, what feels like, every single hair product known to man from supplements to specialized shampoo and conditioner to leave in conditioners to various oils – you get the idea (you can see some of those products in the background of the photo). So, I was a bit skeptical to try yet another “repair” shampoo, but I am thrilled that I did. Within the product description it states that the shampoo “instantly repairs and shows results after just one use” … well, that statement is true, at least for me. Normally when I wash my hair, after I rinse the shampoo, my ends still have texture to them (they still feel dry); however, after using the combination of BOTH the shampoo and conditioner, my ends felt as smooth as the rest of my hair. Honestly, I have not felt that smooth texture on my ends in years and years. I love that the formula contains less than 1% of synthetic fragrances (though it smells great), is 100% vegan and doesn’t contain parabens or Sulfates SLS or SLES. Yes, the price might seem high, however, you must consider that the shampoo is so highly formulated that one bottle allows for over 75+ shampoos … that’s right, 75+! This shampoo & conditioner did more for my hair in one single wash than any other product has done, period. My hair is much healthier and stronger singly handily because of this shampoo and conditioner. where have you been my entire life? I have very thick course hair and I love it long. I also have a lot of gray in my roots so it gets wiry, and lets not omit the part where I insist my hairstylist texturized and razors my hair (she fights me every single time) for layers and thinning purposes. I was so excited to try the new Olaplex No.4C Bond Maintenance Clarifying Shampoo and was not disappointed! I start off by applying weekly in place of my regular shampoo to my wet hair at the scalp working to ends, working it into a lather, letting it sit for around 5 minutes to fully penetrate and process, rinse and follow with conditioner. This shampoo really does an amazing job clarifying my hair without leaving it feeling it dry like many others do because it is pH balanced. I spent a few hundred dollars and used a these products exclusively in November/December 2017. A few weeks into my new routine, I started noticing tons of breakage and scalp sores. I took the advice of my MP, added in an oil and a mask to combat the breakage and soothe my scalp… A few weeks later, my husband pointed out my rapidly thinning hair and bald spots appearing. I immediately stopped using ALL Monat products went to a doctor. The doctor advised that the new hair products severely damaged my scalp by causing a growth of bacteria and gave me steroids and some medicated rinses. I also went to my stylist who informed me that my scalp looked like I had chemical/acid burns and that Monat products completely fried chunks of my hair off. Now, I didn't go from using low quality drug store products on my hair to Monat, I don't have a hormonal imbalance, I don't have allergies to common products, I don't have a vendetta against MLM's or seeing people "succeed", it's not my water – we have a very high end water system in my house, and I certainly don't sell competing brands (I'm a teacher, not a stylist). I was using HIGH quality salon brands and took excellent care of my hair before switching. Since Nov/Dec 2017, I've had to cut off at least 8 inches, use medicated rinses, do expensive treatments at salons. 10 months later, and my scalp is still itchy and inflamed, I'm still experiencing severe breakage and fall out, my bald spots have filled in ever so slightly, but I'm now experiencing NEW bald spots. This shampoo, along with the conditioner, did seem to help the regrowth of my hair a little bit. I believe it does do it's job. However, I find it to be very expensive compared to other hair growth brands like Bosley for instance. I was a VIP member for Monat so I even got the discount and with shipping the system was often over $100. Great products, just not necessarily worth the price I'm comparison to other similar systems on the market. I will note for people reading this review that my hair is thin and fine. For me personally this shampoo did not work for my hair type AT ALL. It made my hair feel like complete straw and made it extra knotty frizzy. I believe it just dried out my hair and that it just was not the right shampoo for me personally. However, this shampoo worked great for someone that I know in helping them eliminate dandruff. Like the product. Went to buy it based on a 30% off on one item coupon. The item was $33, so with the discount, slightly under $25. Can purchase 2 of them for $25 on Amazon. Nexxus is not a brand I am familiar with so was keen to see the results. As soon as I poured the shampoo into my hand I could feel the quality of this beautifully rich shampoo and the smell was absolutely divine. The shampoo lathered up easily into my hair with just a small amount of the product. It was easy to rinse out and my hair felt thick and full once it had been washed. Once my hair had been dried I could instantly see how shiny and well nourished my hair looked and felt and the colour of my hair has stayed more vibrant without any fading over the past couple of weeks. I've used this product for years, but they seem to have changed the formulation. I purchased two 1L bottles sometime ago. I just ran out of the old formula and opened the new bottle, and (as many have said) it does not clean. My hair has always been fine but now that I'm 58, on hormones and thyroid meds, my hair is thin. I first tried Full shampoo almost a year ago and didn't notice a change in my hair. I was given another bottle in May and tried it again. I was amazed. My hair was more full and manageable within a week or so. I then saw the Flourish shampoo and thought the description was exactly for me. Unfortunately, it was not and I started to see thin spots on my temples. I also noticed the Flourish shampoo does not lather the way the Full shampoo does. It makes it hard to be sure you have applied it to your whole head. My natural gwols know how frustrating it can be to wash, moisturize and style your hair and then it be dry and toe up the next. I know how it feels to buy a hundred plus dollars of products to be disappointed or mixing them with new products so money isn't wasted. I washed my hair the first day I bought this and fell in love. My hair was soft. It didn't dry out after and the tea tree leave-in…girl use that too! I haven't tried the detailing conditioner yet because they were out of stock when I purchased. Probably because of that half off sale. I did find that this and Taliah's apple aloe deep conditioner work well together. My hair was shiny, easy to comb and style. I also used the Tgin moisturizer. I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I want to note I am leaving this review after a few weeks of using. I like to get a feel. I washed my hair with the Taliah apple aloe shampoo and it was giving dry and not for me. Let me start off my by saying this product is AMAZINGGGGG ! I usually have a very hard time finding the right products for my hair especially when it comes to shampoo . My hair is usually VERY dry and soaks up moisture QUICK most shampoos tend to leave my hair even more dry and brittle feeling. this shampoo along with the conditioner has done wonders for my hair. I have moderately frizzy but mostly straight Caucasian hair and I've been using natural, sulfate/paraben free shampoos for a year or so now. I like TGIN because it makes my hair SUPER silky and soft. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. It's not a miracle but it save a lot of my hair. What really helped my hair is cutting A LOT of hair off basically into a pixie cut, and getting blood work and finding the cause. For me I had severe iron deficiency anemia and never took any supplements for it. For years I had broken thin hair, that barely reached my nose in the front, Frankenstein mullet. My doctor ordered a prescription for iron and I got other pixie cut and treating my hair gently. I followed my prescription exactly. Used this shampoo, good conditioner, a weekly mask and pinned my hair up frequently to avoid friction but I blowout my hair every week with heat protectant. One year later and all of my hair goes past my chin and no bald spots. So major and life changing my boyfriend teases me saying he blinked and my hair grew. It's not thick and long but I have a good thickness lob now. I am extremely happy. Correcting my severe anemia was the biggest help to my hair but this shampoo helped control the damage. (Also my fatigue, pica, 15 hour slumbers and my inability to run with getting winded instantly gone with my iron prescription) This shampoo helped me keep the little hair I had over the years and I still use it. I was very happy to find this shampoo on Walmart.com. My first purchase of it was from Amazon and the shampoo was very thin and watery, I was not happy with the amount I would have to use to just get a lather. This new bottle from Walmart was so much better, the product was thicker and I'm not having to use as much to attain a good lather. I have been using for a couple of months and so far I have noticed that I am not having as much hair loss and I seem to have a lot of new growth. It leaves my hair feeling light and not weighed down as some shampoo do. Overall I am happy with the product, only complaint would be the smell but that is probably because of the tea tree oil, I hate that smell. As long as it works though I can deal with the smell, it doesn't smell strong once it is rinsed. Good product overall!Stacey

I received the Pureology Hydrate Sheer products from Influenster for review purposes and have been using the shampoo & conditioner combo for the past 2.5-3 weeks to give it a fair chance prior to reviewing. For reference I have fine, wavy hair that has considerable damage and split-ends from bleaching my hair every 3 months as well as pretty regular use of hot tools/blowdryer. Therefore, I'm in desperate need of hydrating/repairing products that also don't weigh down my fine hair. As for the Hydrate Sheer Shampoo, it's a decent shampoo and gets the job done. A little bit goes a long way, it lathers very nicely and it rinses out easily. My hair is admittedly softer and hydrated after using the shampoo/conditioner pair together – however, I do NOT think this shampoo outperforms my regular favorite shampoos/conditioners from other high end brands – and at this price point I really do expect a higher quality product or at least a more noticable change after nearly 3 weeks of continued use. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent at first, but it did grow on me over time and now I quite enjoy the fragrance. Overall, it's a nice shampoo and I will continue to use the rest of the bottle, but I would not repurchase products from this line as I feel there are better performing shampoos out there for damaged hair at a more affordable price point.JillLo
I have been on a hair journey these past couple of years, including currently growing out my silvers. With this in mind, I expect my non-dyed hair to react differently to shampoos as it grows out more and more, but I have a ways to go still so this review is largely focusing on colored hair. I’ve tried different shampoos in the Pureology line before, and this one feels fairly par for the course. It does not have that endothermic minty coolness of other Pureology products, but it does leave my hair feeling clean. Some people have mentioned it made their hair feel immediately more brittle, but I didn’t notice that. Please note: This is a clarifying shampoo, so perhaps people mistook the removal of product build-up (and the damage that build-up causes) as the shampoo ‘causing brittleness.’ I did immediately follow with conditioner, and then utilized my typical post-wash oils/thermal protection products. My hair feels nice and I do notice nice volume for a couple of days. It’s not a miracle worker, obviously, it’s just a shampoo. You’re not going to get 80s hair from just a shampoo. I only wash my hair every two weeks, and this shampoo/conditioner line didn’t cause excess oil production that would make me need to wash more often, so that is a plus in my book. All this being said, I will likely keep this in rotation with my Olaplex, Oribe, Ouai, and Briogeo products.debra.r
I love the fact that this product is vegan and cruelty free, although it is owned by parent company L'Oreal that does test on animals. The packaging is supposedly made of 95% recycled plastic. Because I was aware of the claims that it contains menthol and burns some people's scalp, I tried my best to follow others' advice and put it mostly on the ends of my hair rather than rubbing it into the scalp. It definitely has a strong mint smell and I still felt a prominent cooling sensation after a few moments even though I avoided putting it on my scalp. The strong menthol combined with hot shower steam stung my eyes a bit so I can't even imagine what it would be like accidentally getting this in your eyes. I wasn't a huge fan of my hair smelling like mint while wet after the shower but the smell faded when my hair dried. After using both the shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt softer and shiny but not dramatically different than when I use drugstore products. I noticed some improvement in my hair's frizziness. Just like with the shampoo, I find this bottle difficult to open. I don't think I would personally purchase this product. But if you're a fan of mint-scented hair products, don't mind spending more money and would prefer a refreshing/revitalizing conditioner, then it might be for you.karolina .k

My husband bought this shampoo for me, my hair was falling out A LOT and it looked really unhealthy. My hair has always looked extremely healthy, but as I have gotten older and had some health issues, my hair became brittle and dull. I told him I was very sceptical about this shampoo, but I tried it anyways. well, I Love it. It has brought back the luster and shine. Not to mention after 2 uses I have loss less hair. I was reading some review, and someone commented that it smell bad but too be honest the smell its neutral not bad at all, I am sharing this product with my daughter she was loosing a lot of her hair apparently is working because I haven't see hair in the bathroom floor like before.
