Ok so! I love this shampoo. This has been the only shampoo to clean my hair and bot dry it out. My natural gwols know how frustrating it can be to wash, moisturize and style your hair and then it be dry and toe up the next. I know how it feels to buy a hundred plus dollars of products to be disappointed or mixing them with new products so money isn't wasted. I washed my hair the first day I bought this and fell in love. My hair was soft. It didn't dry out after and the tea tree leave-in…girl use that too! I haven't tried the detailing conditioner yet because they were out of stock when I purchased. Probably because of that half off sale. I did find that this and Taliah's apple aloe deep conditioner work well together. My hair was shiny, easy to comb and style. I also used the Tgin moisturizer. I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I want to note I am leaving this review after a few weeks of using. I like to get a feel. I washed my hair with the Taliah apple aloe shampoo and it was giving dry and not for me. Let me start off my by saying this product is AMAZINGGGGG ! I usually have a very hard time finding the right products for my hair especially when it comes to shampoo . My hair is usually VERY dry and soaks up moisture QUICK most shampoos tend to leave my hair even more dry and brittle feeling. this shampoo along with the conditioner has done wonders for my hair. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. Okay I'm curious about this product and the claims it helps reduce shedding/fallout. I can say I had less shedding after using this shampoo. I will see how it does after a few washes. It wasn't very moisturizing for me though. The SNAG FREE pre shampoo had such great slip and had my hair feeling great. I was expecting a lot more from this shampoo. I’m a huge fan of pre-pooing since it makes washing my 3c/4a hair much easier and this pre-shampoo did not disappoint. I like that I could easily work it into larger sections so I didn’t have to spend too much time applying it. I sectioned my hair into 4 parts and then sectioned each of those into two (for a total of 8 sections) to work the product in. I used to have dry, frizzy unmanageable curly hair (3b). I've tried nearly every product for curly hair and *nothing* has worked like this leave-in. My hair is now shiny and smooth, but retains my curls too. I can actually brush through my hair on no-wash days and my curls maintain their shape. With other products, my curls would fall and get frizzy by mid-day. I know everyone responds uniquely to products, but I am so happy to to find my holy grail! I do t understand some of these reviews, like it not being thick? This is a very thick leave in and you really need to use sparingly. I feel like if you actually put enough in to coat the majority of your hair to reap the benefits you would have a greasy head full of hair. I got this because I was a bit on protein overload and while my hair has felt softer it's not done anything to repeat or seal split ends like it claims. Doing a bunch of research after this issue I've found that although coconut oil is a big fad it is actually not good for a lot of hair types. ESPECIALLY if your dealing with excess protein in your hair, it will make the problem worse since coconut oil causes protein buildup. Wish I had know that before purchasing. Seeing as how so many products have coconut oil in them that's probably how I wound up in the mess to begin with. Just a FYI for anyone else that may be having the same issue. Now I do like TGIN repair mask, although I don't like the smell necessarily, I also don't get the amazing smell others claim regarding this leave in?! This product works as step one of my product routine. Does it give the best coverage or moisturizing power? No, but remember it is designed to also be a co-wash. You can tell by the slight astringency and bubbles post-rinse that it has mild cleansing action. You do need a fair amount to coat the hair enough to brush detangle, but it wins best all-around for curls. It smells amazing, and gives good curl definition, shine and frizz control. I wash it out, then use Alba cocoa butter as a scalp moisturizer/leave-in, and finish with a humidity hold gel, and get a beautiful cast that lasts about a week. I did prefer the previous formulation when it was called custom conditioner, (I think they were cutting costs with the change), as you didn't need to use as much, but still like it enough to keep using.dartarro21

Bb Curl’s Anti-Humidity Gel-Oil left me with nice, loose curls and kept my hair from getting frizzy even when the humidity was high. I also used this product right before bedtime because it felt nice and light, leaving my hair not sticky to the touch. It was nice to not wake up with crazy bed-head for a change! I used the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil heat/UV protective primer before using my straight iron and found that it worked well without leaving my hair greasy or gunky. It also did not leave any residue on my iron. The Defining cream gave my curls definition without the usual crunchy, sticky texture we all dislike so much. My curls still bounced while I walked and I could even pick my hair without ruining the hold. It didn’t flake off either. I have naturally curly unruly coloured treated for decades hair that I use hairdryer & straighteners on. I further abuse my hair by swimming outdoors a lot over tge summer in the sunshine. I was a big Aveda Smooth Infusion fan until I finally listened to my Tony & Guy hairdresser & started using these Olaplex products to repair my badly treated hair & maintain the colour. I am now an Olaplex convert. My hair condition instantly improved after one wash, it smooths my hair better than Aveda Smooth Infusion. It is more concentrated that the Aveda Smooth Infusion so a 250ml bottle of Olaplex lasts much, much longer than the Aveda Smooth Infusion. I have just returned from a week swimming for hours everyday in Greece. Chlorine, sunshine, colour treated unruly hair, hairdryer & straighteners everynight = hair abuse I know. I bought this for my wife and she use this with the No 0, No 3, and the No 5. I must say the combo of these together is amazing. Her hair was pretty much destroyed frome excessive styling, blow drying and box dyes. We could totally tell a difference after just one use of these products together. Her hair looks healthier, has more shine and manageability, doesn't look as damaged, she isn't yanking out knots when she wakes up and brushes her hair plus it just feels so soft and looks smooth not frizzy. It seems like the texture, strength, and even the way her hair is laying is totally changing. The smells not over powering which is something we both love because sometimes hair fragrances clash with perfumes but not Olaplex it's perfectly balanced. The bottles aren't the biggest which was kind of a let down but you don't need near as much as other shampoos so it seems like it will last just as long as a big bottle of regular shampoo. It lathers and rinses out amazingly! The pure magic that comes out of those bottles can't be beat and it's so worth it! I’ve been having issues with thinning and breakage for a couple of years now and it really does seem like I’ve tried almost everything. I kept my expectations low but since a lot of friends have used and liked Olaplex I decided that it would be worth it to try and so far it has been. Obviously it can’t cure thinning due to stress/genetics but the texture of my hair has approved tenfold since I started using the No 0, 3,4,and5. Since my hair is quite fine and thin I use the bond building treatment and hair perfecter 1-2 times a week for the past month. Honestly I am stunned at the results. Since it’s not a permanent fix but a treatment, you do have to continue using it. I did read somewhere that there’s no way for it to permanently fix your already damaged hair but it can definitely treat it while the damage grows out. It doesn’t weigh my hair down, there’s no apparent residue, and it felt healthier and looked healthier after only the first try and has consistently improved since. I’ve tried so many products that just seem to sit on top of my hair and reflect light instead of actually improving anything texturally. I was also stunned at the quality of the product, not just in effect but a little really does go a long way in each one of my products. It smells and feels amazing. I could clearly go on. I’m just so pleasantly stunned! I had read some very negative reviews and was prepared to just take a chance and I’m thrilled and impressed with the results. I really like using these products and how my hair feels after using them. I ordered the whole set during the flash sale and when I received the products the shampoo, conditioning spray, and the conditioner weren't closed properly so most of the product was in the bottom of the box. I sent an email about the issue but I received another email for a link that doesn't work to open a ticket. No one has reached out to me and I have been sent the same link twice. This is one of my top five shampoos for people who have a four c hair texture! The smell is amazing. It definitely gives off hints of pomegranate and honey which is the perfect snow combination. It provides a thick rich and full leather without having to use 17 pumps of shampoo. I Projects like that mielle products are parabens and sulfates paraffins and mineral oil all free. I will be the first to say that being that I have for sea hair this is not a detangling product. Moisturizing absolutely. Cleaning your hair it also removes all the impurities. I was a little disappointed when I received my black Friday package from Mielle. I have ordered before and have been pleased but this time it was like everything was thrown in a box and shipped. The box was so beat up its like the products could have came out and almost would have im certain had it been tossed around any more and I know that part wasn't so much their fault but I figured it would have been put into another box to ship to prevent that problem. The products had no confetti at least to soften how its thrown around everything was so greasy i thought for sure a product or 3 were leaking and also nothing was wrapped at least in bubble wrap considering how it was boxed up. Literally just thrown in the box any kind of way. My hair is more wavy than curly – however I wanted to give this a try to see if it would help me achieve more “I naturally woke up like this” hair days than “frizzy mess”. I have to say that after trialling out the new Maui Moisture Lightweight Curls + Flaxseed Shampoo and Conditioner I’m pleased with the results. Always a fan of vegan / natural products if possible, and the Aloe Vera definitely works to hydrate and smooth. Shampoo has a good lather, and leaves hair clean but not dry, and when followed with the conditioner that melts instantly into your hair, detangling is incredibly easy (just with my fingers) When rinsed out hair still feels soft and hydrated, and when gently towel dried I did find that my hair tended to generally settle better into shinier waves rather than frizzy or flat, with minimum product. Pleased but not amazed by this product. Would recommend as a good lightweight “every other wash” option for curly haired girls in between styling.Nicole M.
This was my first time trying a curly shampoo and I have had some really good results! My hair is very fine and has a natural wave to it which I’ve never styled before. It’s also very dry and heat damaged. I used this product by shampooing my roots twice and conditioning my ends once. I found once I got out of the shower and scrunched my hair, there was a bit of a natural wave already. With the use of a curl conditioner and styling mousse, the waves held once my hair dried. I haven’t rated this 5 stars as I find my hair gets really knotty and dry. This is likely due to my damaged hair but important to note. This conditioner comes in quite cute packaging – I like the fact it is more square, as it makes it easy to grub onto in the shower with wet slippery hands. It is quite appealing with nice labels and easy to read instructions. The conditioner itself isn’t a thick consistency, but not runny. It has a light scent, which is quite refreshing in scent and not overpowering. After leaving on my hair for a few minutes, it was easy to wash out and left my hair feeling quite soft and smooth. Upon drying, my hair wasn’t as soft as I had expected, and I don’t feel like it helped to accentuate my natural curl. It left almost like a greasy residue on my hair, meaning I had to rewatch a few days later (usually can stretch to a week). I would recommend this to people with thicker hair.Catherine L.

I've been using the WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and Coconut Avocado Conditioner for the past 2 weeks and absolutely love them! I've used apple cider vinegar on my hair so I was intrigued when I saw this shampoo. This shampoo works gently to clear build-up and dandruff on the scalp and nourish hair. It works into a nice lather a little goes a long way. It's left my hair clean, shiny and soft. The WOW Coconut Oil Conditioner is ideal for dry or stressed hair. I used the WOW products hoping to improve my dandruff issues and detoxify my scalp. The ACV shampoo lathered well, washed out easily, and left a noticeable apple cider vinegar scent. It made my scalp oily and itchy after a day or two. My scalp is not usually oily. My scalp flaked more than usual. I was using it exclusively, but then I began alternating its use with my usual shampoo, which does not make my scalp oily, because I was concerned that the WOW products were too harsh. The conditioner is very thick. I use it on the ends of my hair, not on the scalp. It has a noticeable coconut scent. The labels state there are no sulfates, but the usual sodium lauroyl sulfate is replaced with Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate. I do not know if this is comparatively healthy. It has other chemicals, including sodium benzoate. I did not notice more shine to my hair. These WOW products may not be the best ones for me and my hair concerns. First time I used, literally thought I forgot to rinse conditioner out. So I washed next day (usually only wash twice a week). My hair was fine, but seemed a bit heavy. Used it yesterday without the conditioner this time because I used a hair mask (which I've been using for years). Could tell immediately when rinsing the mask my hair felt really weird. Then again today everything but the top most layer is a weird filmy greasy mess! So it's not just the conditioner, but the shampoo. It leaves a gross film on my hair making it super greasy. I have an oilier scalp but I can still go days between washes. This stuff somehow has the strands extremely oily! Will definitely return this one. If I had never tried this brand quite some time ago in a Sephora Play box (remember those?) I would be kicking myself for sleeping on it! I fell in love with the “ghost oil” first, and from there I jumped in hard to the brand. The volume shampoo (and the equally awesome conditioner counterpart) have turned out to be amongst my favs! I love the smell- clean and fresh without being too overwhelming. I’m a hard sell on shampoo, but this is a nice size for the $20 price point and it has a good lather, so it should last for a decent amount of time. I also really like that VERB is both cruelty and SLS free, uses sunflower oil as a natural hair protector and vitamin B5 to add thickness to the hair. It’s rather hard to be the judge of whether or not a product produces enough volume simply Bc we all prefer differing levels of volume in our hair, but I do enjoy the way this shampoo performs in my hair, and I’ve been able to regularly produce and reproduce“voluminous hairstyles” that I’m fond of when I use this shampoo and conditioner set.Reatha24
I was not the biggest fan of Verb Volume Shampoo. I have fine, curly hair that gets weighed down easily. I have lost some volume/thickness during the pandemic for some reason, so I am always looking to thicken and give myself some lift and volume. First, I am big on scent and I don’t need my products to smell like anything specific, as long as it smells good. I didn’t like the smell of the Verb Volume Shampoo or Conditioner at all. It reminded me of Matrix Biolage, which is one of my least favorite brands and scents. I can get past the scent if the product works. I can honestly say I didn’t notice much of a difference as far as the volume my hair had after blow drying it straight. This product is in my everyday haircare routine. It's an all natural ingredient shampoo and doesn't contain sulfates or silicones. This shampoo is also color-safe friendly. The shampoo itself works well for stripping product buildup, cleansing the scalp, and leaving your hair feeling clean. It lathers really well into hair. The only semi catch is that it washes and rinses better with cold water over warm or hot. The smell is amazing, I wish it was a little more potent, but if your pair this shampoo with it's conditioner in crime (as I do) the smell balances out. As should be said this product alone, like I mentioned works well, but it works best with the paired conditioner. Great size, scent is ok. ive used it twice now and the quality is not the best. It does cleanse the scalp. But it made my hair very dry and brittle afterwards. Even with the hydrating conditioner. if you have a sensitive scalp i would not recommend this. Very harsh and irritating but, ive noticed that i Dont feel as much of the build up products anymore. I used this product about a year ago. I saw it online and couldn’t resist the deal. 25 ounces of sulfate free, silicone free shampoo for about $8! What a steal! Well, the only thing that was truly stolen was my $8 and I want it back. Lol! This stuff smelled so bad. It was like a strong, sickly sweet, fake coconut smell. I thought maybe it just smelled that putrid in the bottle so I decided to wash give it a try. That smell got even stronger as I washed my hair! I have always used and loved the OGX brand and was so happy when I received this set to try! I have very long, thick, frizzy, and wavy hair. I also live in South Florida where it is absolutely always humid every single day! I typically tend to stay away from any product that says “oil”. Living in such a humid climate and also having such a naturally oily scalp I just always avoided those products as best I could but since given this for review I said I’ll give it a fair go. Let’s start off with the scent of this product, it’s sooo good! The smell reminds me of like a clean tropical beach scent, perfect for sunny SoFlo! Being that I do have frizzy wavy hair I tend blow dry out my hair a couple times a week what I noticed almost immediately with this product is my hair and scalp felt nice and clean but also the frizz was tamed and my hair was shiny. Over these past few weeks or so wash wondering what this product would or could do for my waves and if it could help uniform them or bring them back to life especially the crown layer of my head. I have to say I’m impressed. I noticed a week ago that when i let my hair air dry (which i NEVER do, frizzy hot mess) underneath the crown layer of my hair there were my curls coming back. Waves were tighter and it was starting from the root of my hair. I also noticed that when I pulled my hair back for work into a pony the new little hair growth sticking up are curly! I received this hair care line from the app for review purposes. I have extremely thick shoulder-length dry damaged frizzy tangled hair. I have tried every product known to man to try and help my very dry damaged tangled hair and nothing seems to work. upon receiving this hair care line I was very skeptical. wasn't sure app on 1st smell if I like the scent or not. getting into the shower I could really smell the products and can tell you that I do personally like the scent. in my opinion the product smell like a mixture of Beach summer and a little bit of floral. or someone sensitive to scents I would pass this hair care line altogether. I use all kinds of shampoo- I just buy whatever is on sale and says it’s moisturizing or repairing. I have never noticed any of them to make much of a difference (conditioner on the other hand does). Until this one, and in a bad way. For weeks I was switching out conditioners because my hair was constantly sticky, greasy, tangly, and still somehow frizzy/dry and I was blaming the conditioner. The best leave in conditioner for curly hair on the market that contains protein. It's perfect for wash day and perfect for refreshing my 3c curls and my daughters also. After one wash I can feel a difference in my hair. We live out in the country and use county water and you can smell the metals in it as you shower. I can't really even color my hair anymore because the water strips it out inside 3 weeks time. My complaint is that my bottles leaked everywhere and I lost over half my product in shipping. When I pulled them out of their box, both lids were completely unscrewed and product was everywhere. The directions say to use daily, but I find it is a little drying to use that often. This is the best thing I’ve found that works while still using hard water to clean. This hair care set has been wonderful in helping to counteract the hard water where I live! I use the shampoo and conditioner usually 1-3 times a week (2x on average) and it works very well, keeping my hair silky and mineral-free. Please be aware that the treatment packets can be quite rough on hair, though – more hair tends to fall out than usual after using one of the packets. For me, the 4 packets that come in this set are perfect for dealing with the buildup that occurs if I've only used the shampoo and conditioner 1x per week for a few weeks, but I would (personally) caution against regular use. But as long as I use the shampoo and conditioner regularly, there's no issue with this! Use 2-3 times per week is perfect for negating the effects of hard water, and keeping my hair feeling healthy!
