I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I honestly love this stuff and so glad I found the right product so I can stick with something that makes me and my hair happy. FINALLY!! P.S. I really love that this product truly makes my fizzy, wavy hair less frizzy and sleek! I come out of the shower with shiny hair and it seems to stay much more tame than with standard shampoos!! I usually buy Aveda smooth infusion but they changed the formula/product and reviews aren't great. So I tried this. I am completely surprised at how much I love it! I am in love with Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo! This is my first time trying Pureology and I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed about the smooth perfection shampoo was the scent, I loved the hints of cocoa. Upon first application I decided to use a small amount and I am glad I did, a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. I have really long hair and I only had to use a quarter size amount or less. I want to point out that I always have to use a handful of shampoo when I use my usual drugstore brand, so I was shocked by how little I had to use of the pureology. I massaged the shampoo in my hair for a good 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. My hair felt so soft and clean without feeling stripped at all. I typically have a lot of fallout when I wash my hair, but noticed less strands of hair coming out while washing. I followed up by using the pureology smooth perfection conditioner. I also use a quarter size amount or less and it was more than enough. I focused this conditioner at the ends of my hair and put whatever was leftover on my roots. I let the conditioner sit for the recommend time of 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. I felt like it took no time to wash all of the conditioner out. My hair was less tangled and overall felt so much healthier than what I am used to. I used the smoothing lotion on the ends of my hair, blow dried my hair and was so amazed by the end result. The end result after I blow dried and straightened my hair was incredible. My hair was less frizzy and more straight making it so easy to straighten. I would like to add that my hair is very wavy/curly and frizzy after washing. The price for the Pureology Smooth Perfection set is a bit expensive, but honestly it is worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this Pureology line of haircare products. Pureology Smooth Perfection is my new Holy Grail of haircare.amber.o

I got this product complimentary from Influenster and Pureology for my honest review. I really loved how this product worked for my hair. It left it so smooth and silky. It lathered really nicely and felt great when I washed it. It also rinsed out nice and easy and left my scalp feeling great. When I blew my hair dry it was like silk. Absolutely fabulous! Only negative, which I was REALLY surprised about, was the scent of this product. It was not pleasant at all to me and not something like I’ve ever smelled in a shampoo. I didn’t like it and for me that is important in a shampoo. I have other Pureology products and love their scents. it’s just this one that I couldn’t tolerate. Otherwise, I love how the product works, but due to the scent I would not buy this product. Sorry but it’s just my honest opinion. I only like haircare that has a nice pleasant smell and this one fell short in that area. It was almost like lightly nutty and musky and sour all mixed together. Hard to explain but it was not like typical haircare scents. For those that don’t care about how a shampoo smells, this would probably be good for you because it does work for smoothing and shine. I received this product from influencer pureology, but all opinions are completely my own. I have enjoyed using this shampoo. I find that the combination of the shampoo conditioner does help smooth my long hair and does really help smooth frizz. The shampoo cleanes hair great, good lather though it can make hair feel only slightly stripped. Conditioner is a nice one that helps smooth but doesn't overdo it and cause hair to feel heavy. Both help cleanse and Condition my hair without feeling too dry or too weighed down. The heat protectant from this line is nice and I feel it helps smooth hair and help make it somewhat softer. It doesn't help much with tangles though. Overall a good smoothing system that helps with frizz. I would recommend anyone trying it out.shona.d

So far the best Purple Shampoo I've found. I have not used it long but My hair shines and actually feels thicker and softer. It hasn't really taken out all my brassiness yet but maybe after a few more uses it will. I am transitioning from medium brown colored treated hair to my natural white/grey hair that I'm letting grow out. It is very fine so my hairdresser didn't want to bleach it anymore for fear of damaging it more to get the orange and yellow tone out of it. She just highlighted down to blendable with my natural white/grey hair. That is probably why not all the brassiness is coming out with the Purple Shampoo. This is a top of the line Shampoo and I have the Silver Lining Butter Masque too, which I love and recommend everyone to try if you are transiting to white/grey hair like me. Cannot understand these great reviews! This Blue Malva shampoo and conditioner is simply awful. By far the worst I’ve used. The price point is ridiculous for the lack of result. Not only does it do NOTHING for my highlighted natural blonde hair, it actually actively makes the colour worse! After first use my highlights were dull and hair was really dry. Even when I piled the conditioner on I couldn’t get my brush though it. I should clarify that my hair has always been manageable and neither dry nor greasy, just luckily have shiny and soft hair so I was really shocked that a product had actually given me problems! I tried to keep using it because you can (ridiculously enough) only buy the huge bottles (what a scam), but I had to give it away to a friend because it was making my hair so lustreless. Omg. Who was in charge of getting rid of clove and chamomile shampoo and conditioner? Send them away and bring back our beloved shampoo. I have very sensitive skin and after not wanting to pay $50 plus for a giant jug of color depositing shampoo, I looked everywhere where for something similar. In the end, I decided not having my hair fall out using something harsher was not ideal and I bought this. My hair changed drastically in a week. It's healthier than it's ever been. My curls hold overnight which is just weird and my hair feels full and somehow also light. I highlighted it a few weeks ago. I'm not sure it's the best at canceling brass, but it's worth it. Living Proof gifted me this product and the accompanying conditioner in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I have dry, thin, often frizzy hair and a sensitive scalp. I have previously enjoyed the PhD in-shower styler and dry shampoo from Living Proof, but this is my first time trying out shampoo and conditioner from the brand. I love the scent of living proof products and this one is no different. The fragrance in this shampoo isn't too overpowering and it doesn't irritate my scalp, but it does keep my hair smelling nice for a while after I shower. I love the sleek matte packaging of this product. It's easy to use and it looks nice without trying to do more than it needs to. I do find that this shampoo and conditioner combo helps to tame the frizz in my hair. I saw this product on a show. They showed a lady to has heat damaged her hair using hot irons, curling irons, etc and was experiencing serious frizz as a result. They treated one side of her hair with the shampoo, conditioner and no frizz styling cream and the other side they left untreated. They proceeded to use a steam releasing appliance and viola, her hair did not frizz. These products work to eliminate frizzy hair by blocking humidity – and without weighing hair down (sulfate-free). First thing I notice as I am using the shampoo, my hair is not tangling as usual and the shampoo has a very nice citrus scent .. After rinsing out the shampoo, I used the conditioner. I used according to directions and my hair felt wonderful and moisturized. Next, I used the leave-in conditioner and began to blow dry my hair. These products left my hair with lots of shine, manageable and so light, bouncey and straight that I had to look twice. I do color process my hair so it was very important that I used a product which did not strip or dull my color. It rained that day so I had a chance to see if the product worked. It did!!!!! This has got to be my favourite line from kerastase! My hair type is very thick, over processed hair with a natural wave. I find it hard to find a shampoo which nourishes my hair and that doesn’t leave it even more dry and thirsty then it already is. This shampoo- the consistency of this is amazing , thick and creamy , hair feels instantly nourished while I’m washing it. Feels like a layer of protection is on the hair (the keratin I suspect) beautiful! Honestly, since I started using this shampoo with the conditionner, my curls came back to life. I have very thick and curly hair and this shampoo along with the conditionner really helped reduce the frizz and dryness of my hair and a little really does go a long way so you can make it last! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price point: it's PRICEY. And I really wished that they offered bigger format for a more "economic" alternative especially for people with longer and thicker hair that obviously need to use more of the product than thinner hair. I have tried so many brands of shampoo in the last two years – Redken, Paul Mitchell, Kenra, Sebastian, Briogeo, Ouai, and so many more, and they all left my hair feeling dry and unmanageable. Then I got this as a sample and fell in love. First off, the smell is AMAZING – it smells like freshly squeezed clementines. This is also the only shampoo I've tried that left my hair feeling hydrated and soft even before using the conditioner. The best shampoo I have ever used. I have always had a really sensitive scalp and dry frizzy hair. After using the nature lab tokyo smooth shampoo and conditioner for 4 months my hair and scalp are THRIVING. I no longer have an irritated scalp and my hair feels so soft and the frizz is now minimal to nonexistent. Also the bottle seems small but for me I wash every 2-3 days and I have hair down to my lower back and a shampoo bottle lasts about a month and a half to two months which is cool. I was in love with this product when I found it. I used it for a couple months, and I was so happy with my results and looked forward to using this beautiful smelling product. Once o opened my second bottle, my hair started to fall out. I wanted to believe it was something else, because I typically lose very little hair when washing and styling, but after alternating and trying other things, it's become very clear that I lose a huge amount of hair every time I use the shampoo or conditioner from this line. I've been using the Pantene Pro V Brilliant Blondie Illuminating Sulfate Free Shampoo for 2 weeks and I'm impressed! First things first, this formula is FREE OF sulphates, parabens, dyes, silicones, and mineral oils which is a winner in my book. A very CLEAN scent like linen on a breeze. I loved the feeling of my scalp afterwards as it felt very cleansed and clarified. Like it had been rehabbed! LOL Honestly, it felt as though a vacuum had sucked away all the old buildup from past washings. I noticed that my natural highlights were also lightened a lot. Like I had sat in the sun for 1 week straight or I went to the salon and had my highlights done! The one thing I didn't like was it was very hard to get a foamy lather going and I suppose that's because it's a very clean and green shampoo without all the chemicals added to it. I used the Brilliant Blondie Daily Rescue Conditioner in Combination with the Matching shampoo for about 3 weeks. This product claim is that it is free of Paraben, Mineral Oil and Dyes. I like that. It also has Silk Extract and Biotin which should should provide you with silky plump locks. Personally I don't think there is enough of either of these ingredients in the conditioner to notice. They are also the last few ingredients listed on the label. There is however a lot of forms of alcohol in the ingredient list! I have very long hair so when showering I wash my hair immediately, rinse and condition. This gives my conditioner 5 plus minutes to do it's job. It goes on nice and soft and has a very pleasant subtle scent. Once I rinsed it out my hair felt heavier than when using other conditioner. I also had a very hard time each and every time detangling my hair. Overall my hair did not feel good after using. For the entire three weeks of using these products I did not add any other product to my hair and did not style so I would get the full effect of the products used. (Covid allowed this as I am at home). I also air dried my hair everytime. Where the colour was concerned there was absolutely no difference in using the Daily Rescue Conditioner.Teejaie1960

I've been a past purchaser of Pantene, so I was excited to see this new line come out. I'm a natural blonde, who recently lifted my hair with bleach. This product specifically features 0% sulfates, parabens, silicones, dyes and mineral oils which is part of the reason why I was drawn to it. It also features added biotin & silk extract which I've been intrigued by lately in hair care products. The scent of this shampoo was really wonderful, and I really enjoyed it. Sulfate free shampoos tend to lather less, but I found this one still lathered quite well. I can't say that I think the biotin in it helped my hair in any way. On top of that, both the biotin and silk extract are both listed as the last two ingredients which I would presume means they're included in very small quantities. That being said, I did like the overall look of my hair after using this. I also really like the look and shape of the bottle/packaging of this. It fits really well in my shower and makes the usability of the product really great. Overall, I think I would buy this product again – and would likely recommend it to others. If I were to change anything, I would remove the biotin, add more silk extract and make it more hydrating.Natalie1962

Silver tresses looking kinda brassy or yellow? This product will take the yellow away and leave behind a healthy, shiny, ready to style head of hair. I am sometimes wary of bluing shampoo because some can leave that blue haired lady look but this one no. I leave mine on 10 minutes once every two weeks in place of normal shampoo and wala great gray hair. As a precaution if you have processed or bleached hair do a test first. This can just like other violet and blue based products become trapped in porous areas leaving a not so nice blotchy mess. It comes out but why risk it. Davines is a wonderful haircare company with an array of products to help with just about all hair concerns. Wonderful. One bottle of this should last over a year easily if used correctly. I recently just purchased this shampoo since I didn’t have a toning product for my blonde hair. First off, I really liked how heavy and cute the packaging was. When I opened it, the smell is not unpleasant but not something I would typically gravitate towards to. It’s something you quickly get used to as you use it more and more. Incredible experience with this WOW Shampoo Apple Cider Vinegar and Virgin Coconut + Avocado Conditioner. I applied Shampoo an I let it act for 5 minutes, gently massaging the root. I rinsed thoroughly and then applied the conditioner and let it act on the driest parts of my hair for 3 minutes. What's the result? WOW, a thousand times WOW…! My hair came out very clean and shiny, felt soft, removed the frizz completely and felt the hair straighten. The smell is delicious, smooth and delicate. I took a chance years ago! My frizz is under control just by shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels LIGHT (not weighed down by other frizz products). My breakage and hair loss is very minimum compared to ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE breakage and hair loss before using WOW! I’ll use this shampoo/conditioner combo forever! It’s def worth the Little extra cost compared to other shampoos that do absolutely nothing but harm to my hair! The smell isn’t overpowering yet still smells clean! Daily use, but I use it every 2-3 days when I wash my hair! It also removes buildup from other products that weigh down and cause oil! That’s the only reason I can go longer between washes! This shampoo is a dream for anyone w/ long hair! First, it cleans thoroughly w/out stripping your hair of natural & needed healthy oils. It's gentle while still cleansing. Second, it helps fight all kinds of problems like hair loss, dandruff, dry hair, etc… Third, you do not need to use a conditioner! I have long hair that loves to tangle, especially when wet. Since this shampoo doesn't strip your hair the way others do, I can run my brush thru my wet hair easily, w/ no snarls! It's as if I used a conditioner! Now, I save money & time in the shower–& w/ long hair that means a lot! Lastly, this product is animal & environmentally friendly & safe to use! This stuff is great for me. My hair profile: fine, damaged, thinning and breaks easily. So I was looking for something that’s gentle on the chemical side, as unscented as possible, and could be a good daily shampoo because I like to work out every day and get pretty sweaty. This was perfect for my purposes. I still clarify once a week, but this daily shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean, silky, and moisturized without being greasy. LOVE!Joy

This does good job cleansing my hair and scalp without irritation and heavy fragrance. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming, it relaxes me. Living Proof gifted me this product and the accompanying conditioner in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I have dry, thin, often frizzy hair and a sensitive scalp. I have previously enjoyed the PhD in-shower styler and dry shampoo from Living Proof, but this is my first time trying out shampoo and conditioner from the brand. I love the scent of living proof products and this one is no different. The fragrance in this shampoo isn't too overpowering and it doesn't irritate my scalp, but it does keep my hair smelling nice for a while after I shower. I love the sleek matte packaging of this product. It's easy to use and it looks nice without trying to do more than it needs to. I do find that this shampoo and conditioner combo helps to tame the frizz in my hair. The product smells great (similar to other Living Proof products I have tried), I sometimes have fragrance sensitivity, but I didn't have any scalp irritation with this product. My hair can get pretty dry and frizzy, this conditioner seems to keep it smooth and wavy. That's a big feat because I'm in the southern US where we are already well into frizzy hair season. This shampoo cleanses really well but makes my hair feel hydrated and nourished. The anti-frizz formula really contains some nourishing and smoothing ingredients. I love the rich lather and amazing fragrance. The formula is incredibly gentle and doesn't strip color from my color-treated hair. It makes my hair feel stronger and smoother. This formula makes my hair look really healthy and shiny. My hair has less frizz and brushes through really easily, despite my damage from dying and heat styling my hair. It doesn't weight down my fine hair even though it is very hydrating. I have long hair but I don't need much to wash my hair. My hair doesn't look frizzy when it dries or when I heat styled my hair.
