If the world ever ran out of oil and we were faced with a National Oil Crisis.. FEAR NOT! My head could support the world and all its oil needs. Like for real- for real, I could wash in the morning and by lunch look like I was on day 3 of “no ones gonna know” dry pooing. I actually bought this for my son to help with his build up as he suffers from the same oily headed mess I do on top of teenage boy hygiene. I was shocked y’all. Like I knew with my moms intuition he just stood in the shower and let the water run but his head wasn’t oily. So I tried it. Not only did I make the entire day, I rolled the dice threw caution to the wind and went for day two! Can’t tell me nothing! I will never not buy this! I wanted a clarifying shampoo in my hair routine due to having oily hair and using dry shampoo sometimes as well! I was stuck between OUAI and this Paul Mitchell one. $30 vs $15. I picked up the Paul Mitchell one from Ulta to give it a try. I have been using it for 6 months and I really like the feel of it! Definitely give it a try in between your normal shampoo! I have an oily scalp from seborrheic dermatitis and probably because it's just oily so I discovered Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2 for oily hair and it's the best. I buy a salon size at Paul Mitchell or a buy one get one at Ulta, works and lasts forever (see full review). But after living somewhere with soft water my whole life then moving to somewhere that's 100/100 on the hard water scale has been hard on my hair. I looked into Shampoo 3, which I associate with chlorine because decades ago when I was a swimmer I used this to protect my blonde hair. It was a different formula that was green then. Now my hair is dark blonde with darker roots (natural blonde) so it shows oil and buildup well. I have all kinds of filters to help with the hard water, but when it's that bad filters don't do much. This shampoo has a light blue tint and a subtle grapefruit scent. Shampoo 2 is clear with a softer lemon scent. I'm sensitive to dyes and fragrance and this doesn't bother me at all. I used this once a week and it really helps! I have so much volume after using this and my roots look great for days (I use another shampoo and wash my hair every other day). I really like this. I probably would need a purple shampoo to take the brassiness out of my blonde but I'm happy that this lets me go longer between washing my hair and does seem to remove some hard water buildup. This is drying. I just use it around my roots and then use a hair mask. If you have dry hair, then get in chlorine, then use this yes it will dry out your hair. But for my needs this has replaced shampoo 2

I used to get dandruff, so I used a 2-in-1 shampoo conditioner. That product kept the dandruff away but made my hair very dry. I love this Neutrogena conditioner! It does not have a strong odor, just a clean scent. My hair looks and feels healthy when I use this conditioner in combination with the scrub and shampoo. My hair used to get tangled with the product I used before, but this conditioner kept my hair silky and had very little tangles. The only reason I give this product 4 stars is because of the bottle shape. I am a quadriplegic, so my mom washes my hair for me. She has weak hands, so it is hard for her to squeeze the bottles. The shape of the bottle is bulky. I do not think a pump will work because the conditioner is very thick. However I would still buy these 3 products.

The Healthy Scalp Hydro Boost line has completely changed my hair. As a late-blooming curly girl with a severely sensitive scalp, I have tried MANY products while in pursuit of the right combination for my hair's need for moisture and my scalp's desire to remain product-free. None of those products have ever influenced me the way that Hydro Boost has. The conditioner feels like butter in the best way. I got this shampoo from influenster in exchange of my honest reviews. I love trying new shampoo and conditioner products and seeing what each one has to offer. I hadn’t heard of any with hyaluronic acid before and was eager to see if it stood out above other shampoos I’ve tried. The bottle of this shampoo is a neat square shape which is different from other shampoos out there, but it didn’t fit on my shower ledge where I put all the rest of my products. I had to put it on the edge of the tub which I don’t prefer. It is easy to squeeze out and comes out a little thick. From the picture I thought it would be blue which it isn’t, only the bottle is blue. That’s not a big deal, I guess it was the inner child in me that hoped it would be a cool color. That’s a plus for anyone who doesn’t want unnatural dyes in their product anyways. When I put this on my hair it took a while to lather and I actually went back for a little more product to get it worked in all over my head. It’s not too strong though and it doesn’t last after being rinsed out. It didn’t feel particularly moisturizing as I lathered it over my scalp. After the shower my hair felt clean and lightweight. Whatever drawbacks the shampoo seemed to have in the shower evened out with it being a perfectly acceptable shampoo out of the shower. My hair wasn’t any more greasy the next day.priya.j

I really like this. For me the smell lasts a while and it does a good job of clarifying my scalp. It smells great and it does what it says it’s going to do. My only issue is that it takes a while to rinse out. My hair feels a certain way after rinsing for what I would say is my “normal” rinsing time. I probably rinse an extra 30 seconds to a minute more than usual. But that’s okay with me because I don’t use this daily so to me it’s not a giant issue. But it might be for others. It’s packed with awesome ingredients and is full of great stuff for your hair. I would recommend reading what’s in this stuff and I’m sure you’ll agree! You’ll notice in the reviews that this makes your hair stiff. That is true. This is a clarifying shampoo so that means it’s actually doing it’s job by stripping everything kinda like the life out of it because it’s trying to rid the product build up. All you have to do is go in with a bangin conditioner and you’ll be fine! I usually add all the stuff back in with a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner once this clarifies it all out. So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. I am told by my stylist that I have fine hair but a lot of it. I was noticing that I was losing what looked like a lot of hair to me in the shower and in my brushes. Smells great and works awesomely for getting those heavy products OUT of your hair. The inevitable downside is that it also removes all of your hair's natural (healthy) oils. I recommend using this in rotation with another, more gentle shampoo; I would NOT use this product every day unless you use heavy product …every day. I haven't used this product in a long time. I do remember it very clearly. I bought this at one of the discounted or liquidated stores. If I remember right it was either t.j. Maxx or Burlington. I colour my hair so use a lot of product. This really cleanses the scalp effortlessly and removes build up. I then follow with my normal Discipline or Bain Satin shampoo and conditioners and a thermo blow dry cream. I only need to use it every 3 washes or so so it lasts a long time. This is a one of the best shampoo's I have ever used for oily scalp and oily hair. Typically if I use a shampoo to treat my oily hair it makes my hair super dry or the oiliness comes back after a day or two but this was just amazing. I used to get dandruff, so I used a 2-in-1 shampoo conditioner. That product kept the dandruff away but made my hair very dry. I love this Neutrogena conditioner! It does not have a strong odor, just a clean scent. My hair looks and feels healthy when I use this conditioner in combination with the scrub and shampoo. My hair used to get tangled with the product I used before, but this conditioner kept my hair silky and had very little tangles. The only reason I give this product 4 stars is because of the bottle shape. I am a quadriplegic, so my mom washes my hair for me. She has weak hands, so it is hard for her to squeeze the bottles. The shape of the bottle is bulky. I do not think a pump will work because the conditioner is very thick. However I would still buy these 3 products.

The Healthy Scalp Hydro Boost line has completely changed my hair. As a late-blooming curly girl with a severely sensitive scalp, I have tried MANY products while in pursuit of the right combination for my hair's need for moisture and my scalp's desire to remain product-free. None of those products have ever influenced me the way that Hydro Boost has. The conditioner feels like butter in the best way. I got this shampoo from influenster in exchange of my honest reviews. I love trying new shampoo and conditioner products and seeing what each one has to offer. I hadn’t heard of any with hyaluronic acid before and was eager to see if it stood out above other shampoos I’ve tried. The bottle of this shampoo is a neat square shape which is different from other shampoos out there, but it didn’t fit on my shower ledge where I put all the rest of my products. I had to put it on the edge of the tub which I don’t prefer. It is easy to squeeze out and comes out a little thick. From the picture I thought it would be blue which it isn’t, only the bottle is blue. That’s not a big deal, I guess it was the inner child in me that hoped it would be a cool color. That’s a plus for anyone who doesn’t want unnatural dyes in their product anyways. When I put this on my hair it took a while to lather and I actually went back for a little more product to get it worked in all over my head. It’s not too strong though and it doesn’t last after being rinsed out. It didn’t feel particularly moisturizing as I lathered it over my scalp. After the shower my hair felt clean and lightweight. This really is a 'Brilliant' shampoo. If you want squeaky clean, nicely scented hair, I have never come across anything better (& there's many years' experience of trying hundreds of others)! It works so well, seems to get rid of all the products I use for styling etc and the squeak, I am sure you could hear from the other side of the bathroom! I can't believe how many reviewers say they actually like the smell of this product. Maybe mine is a bad batch? But the smell is so bad it makes me so nauseous. It just smells like baby oil and herbs but sooo strong it's unbearable. I regret buying this and which I had a sample first. I used it only once and had to rewash my hair because the smell lingered. Just way too strong. The condition smells terrible too, but not AS strong as the shampoo, and the conditioner works okay, but I got the cherry almond instead. I hate strong smells I wish it had more of a subtle, more floral or feminine smell to it. It is just such a weird smelling shampoo. I used this shampoo and conditioner for years, only changed because I started coloring my hair. I quit coloring my hair and was very excited to start using the Brilliant line again. Sad to say…it doesn't smell as wonderful as it used to! I loved the shine, softness and the beautiful smell it left in my hair but it's definitely not as amazing as it was! Love the packaging design of this in my bathroom. Brightens it up immediately and looks very pretty. However the quality of the plastic is awful and I keep hurting my hand while opening it because it’s difficult to grab the lid to open, and the edges are sharp enough that I’m worried I’ll cut myself one day. Onto the product! It smells like soy and vanilla. I wish the vanilla was more toned down. But fortunate it’s not at an unbearable level for someone sensitive to fragrance like me. As far as sulfate-free shampoos go, this lathered up decently okay (by which I mean not like completely drying) so long as you used a decent amount. Not super softened or magical but it did keep the brassiness of my bleached hair under control. For sulfate free types I think it’s alright if you like the brand and packaging.
This is a really nice silky hydrating leave in conditioner. I like to use it after the shampoo and mask from the same line and I love how it makes my hair feel and look. I apply this from mid to ends and comb and style as usual. It leaves my hair soft and shiny without being too heavy. It has some of my favorite nourishing ingredients like argan oil and marula oil. Just like the shampoo, it has a slight lower PH which is what I look for in hair care products since they hydrate but are less damaging. It’s perfect for every day hydration and helps a lot with frizz control, especially on thick wavy hair like mine! I just love the moisture I get from the Drunk Elephant Silkamino Mega-Moisturizing Shampoo for my hair and my scalp loves it too! This really is a deeply moisturizing shampoo I truly feel my hair gets plenty of moisture and feels healthier with use, looks shinier, softer too, and even stronger. It does a great job too at deep cleansing away all my product buildup I have in my hair from all the hair products I use which is a plus, plus dirt, sweat, and oils too it cleanses away. What I like is that soothes my scalp too which is something I was looking for while also looking for something with all these other properties so this shampoo really does it all and my scalp does feel so much better and healthier too! This shampoo has a nice thick formula so all you need is a little to lather up so it’ll last you a long time and I only use a small amount on my past below my shoulders wavy bleached hair. I've been struggling to find a gentle shampoo that actually cleans my hair and then I found this! It may be clarifying if you have dry hair that doesn't need daily washing, but my fine oily hair needs this daily. This has a great amount of protein for me and the coconut oil helps prevent protein loss from daily washing. Using the matching conditioner is too much protein for me daily so I alternate it with a protein free conditioner. I bought these shampoo and conditioner "Hair Food" and I have to say… I'm impressed. My hair is smooth, it's not frizzy (even with the humid air), and it smells so good! I woke up with non-crazy hair. I feel like I don't need to wash my hair the next day and my scalp doesnt feel itchy dry! Living in Europe, this conditioner has to be amazing for me to order it twice! It's actually my son, who's 14, who heard about it and since I know he's struggling with his curly, somewhat dry hair and scalp, I wanted to let him try it. He loves it! A few months back I purchased this clarifying shampoo. I am pretty pleased with it, it does what it says. I get build up from styling products and this helps remove that. The smell kind of reminds me of vitamin E capsules. There isn’t much lather, so I recommend using a scalp brush to massage into your scalp.jennifer.e
I bought this specifically to wash off the remaining hair dye fading on my hair. This is not a shampoo I regularly use due to my chemically processed hair and can be a bit drying. It impressively cleanses the hair and scalp by striping all the build-up and residue, including hair dye to the best of its ability. Even though it does not remove the color entirely, it's as good as it gets a shampoo. This 10.5 fl oz squeeze cylinder bottle goes for $7.99. I picked up this shampoo because I live in an apartment and my shower has a lot of hard water and minerals that come from the pipes. I was very hopeful this shampoo would help to remove all that mineral and hard water buildup, which it did. however if you are going to use this, use a moisturizing mask afterwards because this will dry out your hair and make it tangly and unmanageable. Also only use this 1-2x monthly to avoid severely dehydrating your hair. This is an inexpensive product compared to other hard water or detox shampoos, but i have noticed the pricier options hydrate your hair a bit more while washing with them. Overall the product works, but the dryness afterwards is something to watch out for.alexis.s

I have both and oily and flaky scalp, though the flakes aren't too bad. I have religiously been using CHI shampoo & conditioner up to this point. Since obtaining this product, I have completely switched. I have been pairing it with It's a 10 conditioner and the CHI conditioner, interchangeably. This product smells very, very nice. I am not used to shampooing twice, but I do as the directions say. It is very hard to lather and truly feel where the shampoo is getting. I have to use far too much product in order to get a sense of a thoroughly wash, but that may just be a personal preference. My hair seems to be less oily than with using CHI shampoo, and the amount of flaking has decreased. I will continue to use it until I run out! I think $30+ is too much to spend on this product, but I might just be a cheap-o. I spend $30 total on shampoo and conditioner — not on just one of them. I say this because of how much product, again, I have to use to feel as though I have achieved a thorough wash, even with shampooing my hair twice. I understand it takes roughly 4 weeks to see true results, so I will continue to use it! Thanks so much for the opportunity.
I received this for free but these opinions are my own. I've used many shampoos over the years and while I've had good results with some, Renefurterer shampoo is the first that's really given me the best results. In the few times I've used it already this week, I have to say I'm hooked. Not only does it smell amazing but a little bit goes along way, working into a nice lather that was so easy to distribute on my scalp. I felt like I was getting a salon wash so I even gave myself a nice scalp massage for a minute or two just because it felt so good. As someone who exercises daily, I get a lot of sweat and grease built up as well as product buildup and when I was done in the shower, I felt so refreshed and my scalp actually felt squeaky clean but still hydrated. I found my hair was even easier to brush through, dry, and style after using this. I will absolutely buy this again and again and will continue to speak its praises. I even noticed my hair wasn't so flat on my scalp after styling which really helped give me great volume!
As someone with extremely thick hair, I often struggle with the cycle of letting my hair go too long between washings, or washes too often, which leads to a combination-like scalp. I was needing a reset for my scalp so found neopur shampoo which helps to alleviate both. The packaging was rather small but many times if the product is good a little goes a long way. The consistency is gel like and has a stronger botanical scent. I did wet my hair and at the time I used this I had an extremely oily scalp. The scent activating in the shower was welcoming and I found the lathering to occur easily and naturally, which was a concern as I have super thick hair. I left it on for the recommended 3-5 minutes and the experience felt spa-like on my scalp. The product rinsed easily and left my hair with a squeaky clean, yet moisturized finish. So far I am finding this a great balance and keeping my oily hair at bay. With the extreme heat here and humidity it is very welcomed so glad I found this product.

Just to preface: I have tightly textured, dense, low porosity hair. Some may say type 4A/B or even 4C. I don't wash my hair very often because it irritates my oily scalp. I don't use product because it builds up tremendously leaving a gray cast on my hair. My scalp makes too much natural oils for product. When I learned this I stopped using leave-ins and stylers and stopped over washing. Even with these changes I still get build up due to once again high sebum production and low porosity. I already use oil for cleansing my face and have gotten the best results clearing up my oily skin using this method. I figured if it works well for my skin it would work for my hair and scalp. I T D O E S ! I L O V E I T ! It cleans without stripping. No more gray cast! My hair feels and looks the healthiest it's ever been. I was a little nervous to buy this because it contains Shea butter, which always weighs my hair down. I’ve been dealing with an itchy scalp for the past few years and the only thing that has helped was OGX tea tree shampoo, but I didn’t like how it made my hair feel, and I wanted something that was better for my wavy hair. I have 2A/2B low-porosity hair. This shampoo comes out as a runny liquid so I use the tip to apply it directly to my head. It doesn’t sud up as much as a normal shampoo, but it still produces suds. After rinsing it out, my hair feels very moisturized healthy, and my scalp feels extremely soothed. I 100% recommend this shampoo! I have reddish brown hair that has waves. The kind you can't just let air dry because it looks like you slept in it and it looks neither straight nor wavy. I live in a high humidity area and not even my Redkin was solving my frizz problem. I tried my daughter's Ouidad and loved it… but I can't afford to use that every day. Plus, my daughter needs a very deep conditioner (and Ouidad has been working for her) and I don't. I wanted something affordable that worked for me. I wash my hair with a moisturizing conditioner, squeeze out the water and then apply this to my hair… medium amount. I twist it up in a clip while I finish my shower and then rinse out. It has been wonderful. Has reduced my frizzing like nothing else (except the Ouidad- which, again, is not in my happy zone price wise). I love it. I use it as an every day conditioner. I am in love with Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo! This is my first time trying Pureology and I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed about the smooth perfection shampoo was the scent, I loved the hints of cocoa. Upon first application I decided to use a small amount and I am glad I did, a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. I have really long hair and I only had to use a quarter size amount or less. I want to point out that I always have to use a handful of shampoo when I use my usual drugstore brand, so I was shocked by how little I had to use of the pureology. I massaged the shampoo in my hair for a good 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. My hair felt so soft and clean without feeling stripped at all. I typically have a lot of fallout when I wash my hair, but noticed less strands of hair coming out while washing. I followed up by using the pureology smooth perfection conditioner. I also use a quarter size amount or less and it was more than enough. I focused this conditioner at the ends of my hair and put whatever was leftover on my roots. I let the conditioner sit for the recommend time of 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. I felt like it took no time to wash all of the conditioner out. My hair was less tangled and overall felt so much healthier than what I am used to. I used the smoothing lotion on the ends of my hair, blow dried my hair and was so amazed by the end result. The end result after I blow dried and straightened my hair was incredible. My hair was less frizzy and more straight making it so easy to straighten. I would like to add that my hair is very wavy/curly and frizzy after washing. The price for the Pureology Smooth Perfection set is a bit expensive, but honestly it is worth every penny. I got this product complimentary from Influenster and Pureology for my honest review. I really loved how this product worked for my hair. It left it so smooth and silky. It lathered really nicely and felt great when I washed it. It also rinsed out nice and easy and left my scalp feeling great. When I blew my hair dry it was like silk. Absolutely fabulous! Only negative, which I was REALLY surprised about, was the scent of this product. It was not pleasant at all to me and not something like I’ve ever smelled in a shampoo. I didn’t like it and for me that is important in a shampoo. I have other Pureology products and love their scents. it’s just this one that I couldn’t tolerate. Otherwise, I love how the product works, but due to the scent I would not buy this product. Sorry but it’s just my honest opinion. I only like haircare that has a nice pleasant smell and this one fell short in that area. It was almost like lightly nutty and musky and sour all mixed together. Hard to explain but it was not like typical haircare scents. For those that don’t care about how a shampoo smells, this would probably be good for you because it does work for smoothing and shine. I received this product from influencer pureology, but all opinions are completely my own. I have enjoyed using this shampoo. I find that the combination of the shampoo conditioner does help smooth my long hair and does really help smooth frizz. The shampoo cleanes hair great, good lather though it can make hair feel only slightly stripped. Conditioner is a nice one that helps smooth but doesn't overdo it and cause hair to feel heavy. Both help cleanse and Condition my hair without feeling too dry or too weighed down. The heat protectant from this line is nice and I feel it helps smooth hair and help make it somewhat softer. It doesn't help much with tangles though. Overall a good smoothing system that helps with frizz. I would recommend anyone trying it out.shona.d

My hairdresser recommended this shampoo as the front of my hair would go solid when I ran the straighteners over it due to a build up of hairspray that my shampoo wasn't washing out properly. After 1 wash my hair is back to normal and I can use my straighteners again. I have now done the 2nd wash in it, but will put it away and only use it after styling my hair with hairspray. Totally recommend this product, my whole head of hair feels so much nicer.Kazz79
