The perfect end to a perfect Jhirmak Silver shampoo. Ive used Silver Plus conditioner for a long time, but suddenly couldnt find it on any store shelves in my area. The shampoo was in plentiful supply, but no conditioner anywhere … believe me, I looked … so I was elated when I discovered it available online at WalMart. It only takes a dime-size portion of Silver Plus Conditioner to keep my hair super soft and manageable. After I massage it into my hair, I leave it on at least 3 minutes before rinsing to make sure brassiness doesnt get a toehold. So far, so good. There is a lot of unsightly yellowing silver and gray hair on women as well as men, and it can be sent down the drain once and for all with consistent use of Jhirmak Silver hair products. As a Color Street Stylist, we do not get a “kickback” for recommending this. We found that this stuff gets the wrinkles out of the strips after you have applied them. I honestly don't know if the product works because I had to re-condition my hair with another product to try to get the awful smell out of my hair. The fragrance smells like old man/ dead animal. It was not designed for a woman who is the main user of this product. Maybe a few men might like the old man / dead animal smell, but it is not marketed for men. I've been bleaching my hairs for years and have tried countless brands of purple shampoo. I've been told by my hairdresser that sulfates strip toner and to avoid shampoos with that ingredient. I noticed this shampoo had sulfates but I went ahead and tried it anyway because of all the good reviews. I've used it 3 times since my last bleach and tone, and my hair is A LOT more yellow than my appointment. I noticed after the first wash that my hair looked a little worse but I decided to try to keep using it and my toner literally vanished before my eyes. I definitely recommend a shampoo without sulfates (Joico is one example). This shampoo also dries out your hair causing it to build up grease not even 24 hours after showering. Made my hair nice when applied, thought everything was great. Beautiful lather….. then I wash it out. My hair felt so gummy it literally scared me. The product didn't really do anything for my hair. Will be returning. I have used the "Total Results So Silver Triple Power Hair Mask". It works great didn't dry my hair out at all. I try to stay away from Parabens, Silicones & Sulfates. I couldn’t figure out why my hair was falling out. I stopped using this shampoo out of pure laziness for 2 weeks, when I started using it again I then noticed it’s this shampoo causing my hair loss. It literally comes out in chunks immediately after and keeps coming out in chunks for days. It may take a few Washes to get use to applying a very purple shampoo to your hair, but there's nothing more effective for removing orange or brassiness from blonde hair. It's so effective in fact, it can be used as a toner after you've bleached your hair to neutralize that ugly orangey color that's inevitable regardless of your natural color. We've all seen people walking around with that orangey hair with white roots after bleaching their hair. It's not exactly the best look for anybody. Especially when it can be avoided and get more natural and blended results simply by applying this shampoo after you rinse the bleach out and letting it sit for a few minutes before rinsing out. It works the same way as the toner your stylist would charge an arm and a leg for to tone your blonde at a salon. So far the best Purple Shampoo I've found. I have not used it long but My hair shines and actually feels thicker and softer. It hasn't really taken out all my brassiness yet but maybe after a few more uses it will. I am transitioning from medium brown colored treated hair to my natural white/grey hair that I'm letting grow out. It was recommended to me that these product will keep my white hair less yellow as it grows in. It has made a very dramatic difference. I LOVE my white hair. I have super dark brunette hair it's almost black! So I get an ashy blonde balayage to compliment my hair. Of course after 6 weeks out of the salon is turns brassy, I bought this hoping it would make my hair look balanced again since it says it can also be used on brunette hair to combat brassy unbalanced hair. OMG did it do the trick. I followed the directions and lathered twice, I didn't use conditioner afterwards but after towel drying my hair used my leave-in conditioner and then blow dried it. Silver tresses looking kinda brassy or yellow? This product will take the yellow away and leave behind a healthy, shiny, ready to style head of hair. I am sometimes wary of bluing shampoo because some can leave that blue haired lady look but this one no. I leave mine on 10 minutes once every two weeks in place of normal shampoo and wala great gray hair. As a precaution if you have processed or bleached hair do a test first. This can just like other violet and blue based products become trapped in porous areas leaving a not so nice blotchy mess. It comes out but why risk it. Davines is a wonderful haircare company with an array of products to help with just about all hair concerns. Wonderful. One bottle of this should last over a year easily if used correctly. I recently just purchased this shampoo since I didn’t have a toning product for my blonde hair. First off, I really liked how heavy and cute the packaging was. When I opened it, the smell is not unpleasant but not something I would typically gravitate towards to. It’s something you quickly get used to as you use it more and more. The lather was something really luxurious as it instantly made my slightly dry and brassy hair feel a lot softer! By the end of my wash, I noticed a huge difference in the tone of my hair! This may be an unpopular opinion but I will say it; Milkshake's purple shampoo is better than Fanola's. My sister and I were both using Fanola once every 3 washes to tone our blonde hair but found the pigment fading quickly no matter how long I kept it in my hair (which is why we used it so often) and ended being too drying. I didn't like my hair texture from using Fanola and my sister ended up buying Milkshake's purple shampoo on a whim. I massage this into my hair and keep it on for 5-10 minutes before washing it out, making my hair silver bordelining lavender purple, which I definitely prefer because my hair stays ashy for a longer period of time. I found that my hair holds on better to the pigments in the Milkshake shampoo (I can go for 5-6 washes now) and feels a lot more soft and hydrated. Another perk of this shampoo is that it smells great and lathers very well, which makes my hair washing experience so much better.tina.t

When I just need a slight touch up on my blonde, I lather it and leave it in for 2-5 mins. When I need a dramatic pull, I apply it when my hair is dry and leave it in for 5 mins before I lather and wash it out. Does leave a little purple behind for a couple days, but comes out easily. I find that the colour consistency in this shampoo is thinker than a lot of others and it lasts me quite a while even though I have longer hair. This is by far one of the best shampoos I have ever used. My long hair is fine, thick, and wavy. I have colored my hair shades that include brunette, auburn, and copper red. My color definitely lasts longer with this shampoo especially the copper and red colors which normally tend to fade faster than other shades of dye.I tend to get dry frizzy hair if I use the wrong products but this shampoo makes my hair shiny, silky, and beautiful. My hair never feels like its been stripped of moisture with this producct. This shampoo was originally recommended to me by my hair stylist. So, I have pastel pink hair. To keep my colour, I have to use a conditioning colorant after each wash. Its an intensive processes that is time consuming. …until I found this perfectly pigmented shampoo. This shampoo deposits colour directly into my hair. I can often skip my conditioning color, and still have good results. Also, now that Im using this shampoo, my pink has a more even tone. Its a very powerful color not enough to dye your hands, but enough that I think you would start seeing it if you used it regularly on blond hair. So you know, the colour is more on the orange side of red than purple. It would be perfect for copperhaired users. And the actual shampoo is wonderful too. You get a very clean feeling. This mask works deep within the hair, you can really feel it when you rinse it out. My bleached hair feels thicker and stronger after just one use, but it also feels very very soft, almost too soft, like mushy soft. It weighs my hair down immediately after using it…but that doesnt last long and the day after using my hair looks amazing. So compared to ordinary shampoos, you may end up using more of this product to feel like you’ve gotten you hair clean enough, to where you’d expect it to be, having just washed it. It works best on color treated hair but if you’re using this product for the first time, you shouldn’t expect to see the vivid color results like the hair swatches on the website or the ads. If you’re using this shampoo to maintain your already ultra-bright hair color, it should work beautifully— provided you follow the directions carefully. If you’re starting with hair that’s just been bleached light blonde or platinum, you should see great results too— provided you allow it enough time (several minutes) to soak in. If you’re building on hair that’s been dyed, but it’s a “normal “ hair color, then you’ll likely get wonderful jewel tones. Pretty, but nowhere near the bright colors you saw, that probably got your attention. Use nylon or plastic gloves. My lovely hair stylist recommended Celeb Viral color a little over a year ago and I have used it ever since. It keeps my hair smooth, my purple hair vibrant, and just overall my hair hasn’t been healthier. Thank you so very much! It keeps my hair purple for over 18 weeks between hair appointments to refresh the color. I’m sure I could go longer without having to see my stylist thanks to using this to wonder shampoo, but l like to make sure my hair stays healthy. The only cons I would say aside from it being really good, is that it does stain the tub every time I use it, but I found borax soap cleans it up nicely. Since my brunette hair can't hold purple color very long, I was going through desperate lengths to keep it looking fresh and vibrant. I was limiting hair washing down to 3 times a week, using the coldest water I could stand and top of the line shampoos/conditioner that either specialize in fade prevention or advertise color protection; I even installed a soft water filter in my shower head! My stylist recommended me get it colored every 6 weeks, due to it just washing down the drain in a matter of weeks and that is just something I can't afford to do that often; She educated me of this line and I cant live without it!! My hair looks as it did the day I left the salon. This stuff has saved me so much money because it is no longer necessary for me to get my hair colored every 6 weeks, but more like 3 or 4 times a year! Sometimes it dries my hair out, but nothing a leave in conditioner or deep conditioning treatment can't fix. If I could change one thing it would be them offering a much larger size, because I go through this every 2 – 3 months or so. Yes it will get everywhere and could stain your tub/shower but I use a tile cleaner with bleach and it eliminates all of it as if nothing happened. I also don't use this alone, I layer my favorite color protection shampoo over the colorwash and fade prevention(moisture adding) conditioner over the colorditioner, both assist with shine, keep it maintained and preventing my hair from getting brittle. My hair type thin, colour treated, damaged dry endsnnHaving been recommend this masque by my hairdresser about five years ago, its a regular on my rotating hair care routine.nnSince its full of protein, I only use this in the last month of summer for a maximum of two months. Since Im out at the beach and in the sun all summer my hair ends up horribly dry and weak so I use it to repair the damage. LOral Professionnel Serie Expert Absolut Repair Lipidium Conditioner is absolutely amazing, it is quite possibly the best conditioner I have ever used. It comes in a 200 ml bottle with a flip top lid which is very easy to open and close, even with wet hands. The product smells beautiful, and the product itself is creamy and thick looking , like a golden cream, just waiting to be applied to your hair. You apply the conditioner to just washed hair that has been squeezed of excess moisture. I apply a little, gently comb it through, then just apply a little bit more, ensuring the ends are well covered. The product makes my hair feel soft, healthy and smooth almost straight away, but do it leave it on a few minutes, so that it can penetrate right through. Rinse out, towel dry and then style how you normally would. nnAfter one use, my hair felt great. Honestly, I really loved the shampoo. The first time I used this on my hair, I instantly noticed the change in my hair tone and brassiness. I actually worked on my hair, and I didn’t have a concern one with this conditioning shampoo at all. I actually really loved it. It smelled wonderful, no bad or nasty smell too it like you would think, or like people have wrote reviews on. It actually smelled nice and done the job for me! It worked! I would recommend this to people with a red vase tone to their hair and they’ve recently toned it to a platinum blonde or bleached it to a blonde color, because mine has a base tone of red to it and I was worried that it wouldn’t work for my hair but, I was completely shocked when it did, so definitely a recommended brand! My hair done great with The One ‘N Only Shiny Silver Ultra conditioning shampoo and conditioner but, not so well with the Colorcharm Wella Permanent Liquid Hair Toner in the shade T18. I put a heavy dose (about 2 oz/60 mL) on my level 9 shoulder length hair that was looking VERY yellow. left the shampoo on for 3 minutes before using matrix lamellar water and it looks like i did a toning treatment at the salon. prior to this i used John Frieda Violet Crush but i always felt like instead of helping to tone it just made my hair look muddy and made me want to strip it, bleach it, dye it, anything to cover up the ugly dullness. This shampoo actually has HEAVY DUTY pigment to overhaul ugly brassy tones but isnt just "dumb purple pigment" that doesnt even help like Violet Crush. The Lanza also made my hair SOOOO soft and shiny and sleek. The entire texture feels different which might be partially due to the matrix product byt even in the shower when I was lathering it up it was soft and moisturizing!ellelee
I have only used this conditioner three times, so far. I really like how well it conditions my silver/gray hair. My hair is very silky after using it. It also brings out the shine and luster of my silver/gray hair. It just pops after using it. If you are going gray then use a product that highlights it. Embrace the color. My first experience with L'ANZA products was when I received a sample. My hair is very thin and fine, so I'm always looking for products that give it more body. I loved the sample and immediately ordered the thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner when I saw that they were an option. I can't say that the thickening was much different from the samples that I had tried. However, these products do not weigh my hair down and do leave my hair shiny with no loss of color fading. I find that my hair dries much faster and the styling seems to stay very well also. Obviously, I am very happy with these products! I’ve been around the block when it comes to purple shampoos and this is one of the best ones I have tried, if not the best. I think one of the most annoying things about purple shampoos is how drying they can be on the hair but after using this my hair actually felt more hydrated. The toning on my hair was pretty significant as well, even without having my hair done in 4 months. When using purple shampoo I like to let it sit on my hair for a few minutes in the shower before rinsing off. I’ll admit I didn’t have high hopes for this but after using it it will definitely be a new staple in my routine! If you’re on the fence about trying this because you feel like you’ve tried all the purple shampoos on the market like I have, just try this one- trust me you won’t regret it!brittbabee
I received this product for free from Pinch Me for my honest review. I absolutely love the Verb Purple Shampoo. It definitely lives up to its claim of Cleanse, Tone & Brighten. My highlighted hair has grown out quite a bit. I need to get my roots down. This shampoo really did brighten & tone my blonde & Grey hair. I was shocked because my hair has grown out so much. Once I lathered, my hair felt sneaky clean when I rinsed. Not gonna lie, I was a little worried it had dried out my hair but not at all dry. My hair was brighter, full, & manageable. I ALWAYS wash my hair once a week, but at times twice a week and condition it every day. However, since using Verb Purple Shampoo I have only been washing once a week and the biggest shocker is I haven't had to condition my hair at all. Which is a HUGE shock to me because I have long, thick and curly hair that requires some attention and upkeep. I was recommended this from my friend after I bleached my hair from dark brunette so was quite a change. I was dreading brassiness and thinking I might have to go through another round of bleach and professional toning (after putting my hair through it twice already) but this shampoo was perfect. I use it 1-2 times a week with the bleach London silver conditioner and it gives my hair a nice silver tone, removing any brassiness. This purple shampoo is absolutely brilliant and the best I've tried. It really does make an obvious difference to your highlights when they're looking a bit yellow or needing done again. Even my hairdresser asked me what shampoo I'd been using. It's cruelty-free and vegan too, so even better. I wash my hair with my normal shampoo, then apply this and leave it in for around 5-10 minutes. Wear gloves though as it stains, and don't use it when you're having a shower as you'll end up purple.Cherry B.
I'd say it's quite strong – it really is a shampoo that you'd use like a normal shampoo. It wasn't able, however, to tone my yellowish just bleached roots (left shampoo on roots only for 6 mins), but for the hair length 3 minutes were too many – hair in fact turned purple. Beware: the ingredients list which is indicated on this page by lookfantastic is absolutely different from reality. I was looking for a non-sulfate version (I have keratin on hair) and was so so happy that I've found a good option without any sulfates that I could potentially use more frequent. The ingredients list on the bottle itself, however, lists SLES and Sodium Chloride. Had I known this, I would go for another product 🙁Alex

I use this shampoo in conjunction with the Colorharmony conditioner to keep my silver hair sparkling. Together they remove any yellow undertones that I have in my hair.
