So I want to start by saying I live in the desert and have super thin dry hair, so I was SUPER excited to try this product (I used all four products – shampoo, conditioner, mask, and leave in condition together). I used all four products for this account: At first I was only going to give this a 3 because on day one of hair being washed, I feel like my hair still ends of feeling and looking really dry (especially the tips – see photos). BUT day two my hair looked/felt better, and day three my EVEN better! I showered all three days, it only used the products the first day, so you can see the progress of how my hair softened, my curls came out, AND I LOVED how my hair felt day 3/4. Normally with silicone products day 3 I HAVE to wash my hair again because the product is so heavy at my roots, whereas I LOVED how these products made my hair feel several days later. I still took off a star because of how dry my hair feels on day one. I have to suffer through one day of my hair bit feeling so great to get to better hair days, and I don’t really love that aspect. I've used this product intermittently for 15+ years. Over the last 5 or so it's become my go-to. I have fine, type 3 curls, low/medium porosity and medium density. I can't even begin to tell you how many different shampoos/conditioners I've tried, and I always come back to this set or the Ultra Hydrasource. I've never experienced any hair loss whatsoever, in fact, I have with other brands and once I go back to this it stops. The smell is absolutely amazing also! I wash my 1-2x a week with this, and in between I use a co-wash from Curlsmith. I always start with using the detangling solution from this line and brush through in the shower with my wet brush. I rinse, shampoo with this, then use the Hydrasource conditioner or a deep conditioner. I comb that through and let sit for several minutes and rinse. Even with very dark natural hair and having bleached highlights (touch ups every 3-6 months), my hairdresser brags about how healthy my hair is! I get a trim every 8 weeks, and she always tells me I don't even need it because of how healthy my ends are, even during post-COVID hair issues I was experiencing (loss and thinning). My husband also started using this when he ran out of his Redken Brews and his hair is VERY fine and thin, and he said he couldn't believe how much better his hair looked and felt (he's also a curly guy, only getting his hair cut/shaved 2-3x year). ⭐️First of all let’s get this out of the way, I was incentivized. I received these samples for free from Influenster and matrix for my honest opinion⭐️ Now that’s out of the way… Oh my hair is loving me right now… I waited until shampoo day and it was well worth it! After using the amazing shampoo I was a little skeptical that my hair would take to this conditioner because it’s so damaged and after I wash it I usually have to put a million and one conditioning products in it just to make it manageable!!! Well let me tell you this is not the case! After issuing a decent size dollop I ran it through my hair starting at the ends and working my way up to the root. Then I added a little bit of water to make it activate a little bit and VIOLA! I let it sit in my hair for about 5 to 10 minutes and then I rinse with lukewarm water. I gently towel dry my hair afterwards and went to come through with a white tooth comb. This is the first time that the comb actually ran through my hair because my hair is so damaged. I literally want to cry. If your hair is out of control and it’s breaking to no end you should really try this and give it a little time and you will see such a difference. I want to wash my hair so badly again but I know I have to wait till it’s actually dirty! The smell is so lovely and it doesn’t fade away but it’s also not overbearing. Give it a try it!! Lets talk about he outside in on the Maui Moiture Smooth Repair Vanilla Bean Shampoo. The shape of the bottle is just so convenient, you can store this so easy in a cabinet without it falling over or taking up a crazy amount of space. The cap is easy to open to access the shampoo in the shower. Now the inside. When you open the bottle and take that first sniff you will be in love with the smell. It is just the right amount of vanilla bean to make this perfect and not overwhelming. The consistancy of the shampoo is also perfect, a little goes a long way. It lathers amazing and so smooth. It also rinces easy out of my hair and my hair really does feel clean once it is rinced and doesn't feel like there is any residue or product left in my hair. Once my hair is dry I do see that my frizz has been tamed and my hair is nice and soft. im so impressed by this shampoo! not only is it affordable compared to other salon shampoos but I could really see a difference in my hair after using it and will continue to use this shampoo. my hair feels so clean and bouncy after using this. it doesn't feel dry or like it's squeaky clean just soft and very manageable. definitely my favourite product and brand.
My hair is complicated. I have what I call a white girl fro and it is not pretty! And this is not to be slanderous in any way whatsoever! My hair literally sticks out like a lions main when I first dry it! So not kidding!!!! And yes I use a brush because if I don't, it's even worse! My hair stylist suggested this product but, I was very hesitant because I have tried so many different products and wasted a lot of money doing so. I'm so glad I tried this! My hair can be fixed to be straight or fixed to be curly. Either way is a lot of work. This product along with a matching shampoo, all from Eleven Australia, my hair has been so much easier to fix and maintain! My hair feels healthier and doesn't feel weighted down at all. I started losing my hair 2.5 years ago when my ex and I split. 28 years together, so the stress and heartache were unbearable. I lost two-thirds of my hair! Please I beg you don't ever change or tamper with this product line, it's absolutely perfect. I have very fine hair and not very much of it either. I've tried everything over the moon and deduced my poor hair quality to a bad luck of the draw – that is ultra-fine hair. For the most part of my life I haven't been able to grow my hair past my shoulder without it looking stringy, and split ends are common place. I changed my diet, ate more greens, I used every product on the market to lightly moisturize and/or deep moisturize, not being able to figure what was wrong with my hair. I stopped blowdrying, straightening, I used sprays, masks and oils. I even stopped washing my hair as often in hopes to solve my hair woes. Nothing has worked and it's all either made my hair super greasy and limp or super dry and dull. Until, I recently found myself in a grocery store looking for a shampoo/conditioner. I've been working in the hair industry for about a decade and have tried many many shampoos, my favorite shampoo is about $100 for 33 floz of shampoo and conditioner and it is very moisturizing but it has keratin and protein so when I need a shampoo strictly for moisture when I have protein overload, I discovered this! I went through every brand at the store to find a sulfate free shampoo that was hydrating, low in chemicals, fragrances and silicones and something that actually cleans the scalp. It's winter so my hair can become very dry as I have more textured hair, It is a great shampoo to remove oils, buildup, product and pollution. It is also very light because the first ingredient is aloe. and it has a surfactant but so it does soap up a little bit but it is not sulfate so it will not dry out your scalp. At its price tag, I really am so glad we found this because a little goes a long way. I do recommend finding another shampoo for some protein and keratin, but this is a good cleansing shampoo. I have tried other things from this line and did not like them as much as this but give it a shot!Laila

I really wanted to love this conditioner. I am 39, with fine, curly 3A hair that is beginning to thin. I am transitioning to natural hair and have begun co-washing. Finding a growth stimulating conditioner that doesn’t require a shampoo is harder than you’d think! This conditioner ticked so many boxes. And it actually left my hair feeling wonderfully soft. Soft enough that I didn’t mind the slightly medicinal scent. Sadly, after only a couple of uses, my skin near the hairline, my back, and even my ears started to break out horribly. Tiny, itchy, bumpy acne so inflamed that I had to wear foundation for the first time in years and basically went into hiding. Even my ear LOBES broke out. I have always been sensitive to ingested biotin, being one of the unlucky few that gets terrible breakouts, but I thought using it topically might have a different reaction. And honestly, I’m not sure that it was even the biotin. All I know is the one con seriously outweighed all the pros I encountered. It gets two stars because I respected the ingredients, was reasonably priced, and actually did leave my hair feeling great. I sadly could not use it long enough to attest to the growth stimulation.
This shampoo and conditioner is amazing and making changes to my hair. I wash it twice, once to get the dirt etc, out then again so the shampoo can do its job also once a month i leave conditioner in for 20 mins with shower cap on for a deep treatment only been using a few weeks and hair transforming. In mature years so many changes to the hair but this product is solving a lot of problems especially thining due to less hormones. A permanent fixture in my cupboard. Expensive? yes of course!!! if you want the best you have to pay for it same as eveything in life "you only get what you pay for".
I’ve been using for only 3 weeks now, for hair loss, and am pleased with the quick results. There is less scalp showing which means less hair loss, more volume/bounce/shape, and my scalp and hair look and feel healthier and more attractive. The scent and feel is great too. One really upsetting detail – both times I’ve ordered, my bottles arrived with the caps open and product leaking everywhere. Not only messy, but expensive, because this means I never received full bottles. Please use tape to keep the caps shut so it stops opening and leaking in transit. This would be more fair to your customers who want to be loyal and continue ordering!

The good thing is yes there is a nice cool tingle when you put it on and rinse it off…outside of that, I did not find that it made my hair any softer than other Enjoy conditioners . The consistency is very thin for a conditioner and it did not go on smoothly. The main dislike however is the fact that it definitely SMELLS medicated…think Vicks Vapo Rub. In fact, the scent of it was strong enough to temporarily make my eyes burn and water. I've been very critical of my curls over the years, usually electing to straighten them and ignore them rather than actually embrace them. This product did WONDERS for my curl confidence. After literally one use they were shiny, soft, even, and defined. I was shocked, honestly. The smell? Pleasant and warm, I'm a big fan. The packaging? I'd prefer a squeeze bottle/spout, it can be a little tricky getting the product out and lids on and off. The 3 part system – shampoo, conditioner, and repair treatment, all works well *together*. I would not at all recommend the shampoo on its own – it strips my hair of EVERYTHING, leaving it feeling impossibly matted and harsh before applying the other two products. If I could rate this product 10 stars I absolutely would. My only major complaint about this product is that it is a very expensive for its size. I know you can purchase larger bottles through a salon retailer if the salon will let you do it but I don't understand why you cannot buy this in a larger size. With that said, this product is hands-down by far my favorite shampoo ever. I have extremely long, thick, coarse, wavy hair. My hair is always in need of extra moisture / hydration. So whenever I look for a product I look for something that is going to be nourishing. This line makes my hair feel so silky soft and smooth it is incredible. Also scents don't seem to stay in my hair for very long after shampooing but I can still smell the shampoo and conditioner well after blow drying which makes me even more obsessed. This product has really transformed and moisturized my hair which helps contribute to less frizz. The scent is also incredible. I can't describe it. It's just clean, fresh and exotic. Aside from the fact that this cost a small fortune for an incredibly small bottle, this is a sensational shampoo. I got this shampoo hoping to replace the Verb Ghost shampoo/conditioner I was using bc I’m boycotting products made in Israel now and I really love this shampoo and conditioner. Super moisturizing without weighing my hair down at all. It also makes my hair insanely shiny I love it. I have been using the Unite 7 Seconds leave in conditioner for a few years. Normally I purchase it at a local salon but found this deal on Groupon so I decided to give it a try. It does not smell right. In fact, it smells pretty terrible. I m not sure if it is a counterfeit product or just sat on a shelf too long but it is definitely not the same as the product I purchased in the salon. Unfortunately there are no refunds/exchanges on this product so I may just throw it away because if it s not the real deal, I m not sure what it might do to my hair. Big bummer.
I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. Docked a star because the smell is a bit strong on the harsher side – almost like pickles! It doesn't seem to make my hair smell but it's a bit rough when it is sprayed. Surprising because usually Unite products have a great smell. I am too happy with the results to return it but REALLY hope they work on improving the scent!!Anonymous

I don’t like to switch to a different types of hair products but I have been struggling with my frizzy hair for a long time. So when I received these products I was actually very excited to try this new anti-frizz set of shampoo, lamellar water rinse, and priming cream. I absolutely love this NYM shampoo and it has an amazing smell. Even after using it for the first time my hair felt so soft, shiny and smooth. If you have frizzy hair like me, this shampoo will definitely help you with that problem! It has the best ingredients, for example macadamia oil will help your hair regrown and also be smooth, hyaluronic acid help your hair reduce freeze, and add volume which is great. Not Your Mother's Anti-Frizz Shampoo is a wonderful product. It leaves my hair clean and with great smell. I got to use it with the other two products of the same line ( conditioner and lamellar water) and the results I got were great. I have a very long hair and frizz, dryness, split ends are few of the main concerns I have when I think about my hair. This shampoo along with the other products of the same line improved my hair condition. I noticed a significant improvement on the hydration and elasticity of my hair. My hair look stays "behaved" even with the high humidity of the south, where I live. I love how shinning, smooth and straight my hair looks after using Not Your Mother's products. Love the teal packaging since that’s my favorite color! I love that this is sulfate free because shampoos with sulfates strip any natural shine I have from my hair and makes it look like a dull mess. This is a super moisturizing shampoo and was great to have during the summer when my hair was taking a beating from swimming, chlorine, etc. I do have naturally oily hair and what I noticed is that this isn’t a shampoo I can use everyday, because when I did my hair became weighed down due to being overly moisturized (or not cleansing enough?idk) to the point where my hair looked like I hadn’t washed it. Once I figured that out I cut using this down to only days when my hair felt particularly parched which worked out very well. My hair was left super moisturized, especially my ends which can feel like hay due to drying elements such as chlorine. Not to mention this left my hair looking so shiny and smooth, so this delivers on the claims. Definitely a good shampoo to use if you know it’ll be a humid day. My hair loves to frizz and this definitely kept it smoother. It’s fairly cheap and I was able to find it at multiple stores when I went out shopping. If you’re looking for a great sulfate free moisturizing frizz prevention shampoo this should definitely be your pick, but just be mindful if you’re oily like me and use sparingly, but if you naturally have dry hair your hair will Ives this and will drink it right up.

This is my absolute favorite conditioner. have fine bleached hair, and this does a great job at moisturizing and it's great for detangling in the shower. My college has really hard unfiltered water, and this conditioner works really well to combat the hard water. It has a clean scent that's not overpowering. It's salon quality and when you buy the large size it's actually a decent price. If you do buy the large one, buying a pump for it is an absolute must. It costs like an extra $2 and makes it so much easier to use.Lina
I'm honestly shocked by all of the positive reviews. I know things work differently for different people so maybe my fine but dry hair was not who this conditioner was made for but this has to be in the bottom 1% of all products I have tried ever. I purchased in February 2022 so I'm not sure if there was a formula change since the positive reviews, a change in the sourcing of ingredients or if it's just all around awful, but this made my hair feel like straw. Like legitimate hayfield straw. It was dry and lackluster not to mention extra hair fall in the shower. It also left me with knots in my hair which I haven't had since I was about 7 years old. I have tried using more, using less, adding water to it, massaging it into my hair, leaving it on for longer, etc but to no avail. I have used high end and drugstore conditioners that were so much better than this but I like to try new products occasionally. This was a complete miss for me. Would not recommend.makeuploverforeva

I recommend so much! I would love to keep up with this product. It lathers like a lot. Suds galore! It's so light weight , all you have to do is lather for a few minutes to help stimulate your scalp for better results. A little goes a long way! Simple packing for this brand really sold it for me, and the reviews. I have noticed my hair is fuller and new hair growth where my hair had been pulled out by a tight ponytail. Don't do what I did! I just purchased this for the first time and I am so confused as to why they would put a screw off cap on it rather than a flip top. So you have to screw the lid off and stash it somewhere. The conditioner has a flip top cap. Why would they package it this way and especially considering it's kinda pricey? I didn't even know any shampoos still had this type of lid. I am inordinately annoyed with this. I doubt I'll buy this brand again. There are other brands out there with better designs.Ccpc
I have been using this product for about a year now. I had lost a tremendous amount of hair due to covid and natural aging and needed to try something. It was phenomenal with stopping my hair fall out and within a month I could feel new hair growing. I normally have very thin hair. Throughout the summer I still had very minimal hair loss and my hair was getting thicker. Sometime this fall, I noticed the formula was much thicker than before and shortly after, my hair started falling out more and more. I don't notice new hair growing like I did previously. I'm not sure if the formula changed, but it does not work as well as it did. I am still using it, in the hopes that it will change back to the original formula.Krisal87

I put a heavy dose (about 2 oz/60 mL) on my level 9 shoulder length hair that was looking VERY yellow. left the shampoo on for 3 minutes before using matrix lamellar water and it looks like i did a toning treatment at the salon. prior to this i used John Frieda Violet Crush but i always felt like instead of helping to tone it just made my hair look muddy and made me want to strip it, bleach it, dye it, anything to cover up the ugly dullness. This shampoo actually has HEAVY DUTY pigment to overhaul ugly brassy tones but isnt just "dumb purple pigment" that doesnt even help like Violet Crush. The Lanza also made my hair SOOOO soft and shiny and sleek. The entire texture feels different which might be partially due to the matrix product byt even in the shower when I was lathering it up it was soft and moisturizing!ellelee
I have only used this conditioner three times, so far. I really like how well it conditions my silver/gray hair. My hair is very silky after using it. It also brings out the shine and luster of my silver/gray hair. It just pops after using it. If you are going gray then use a product that highlights it. Embrace the color. My first experience with L'ANZA products was when I received a sample. My hair is very thin and fine, so I'm always looking for products that give it more body. I loved the sample and immediately ordered the thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner when I saw that they were an option. I can't say that the thickening was much different from the samples that I had tried. However, these products do not weigh my hair down and do leave my hair shiny with no loss of color fading. I find that my hair dries much faster and the styling seems to stay very well also. Obviously, I am very happy with these products! Okay, let me start by saying that after middle school, my hair started to get oily faster it seemed like and my hair had less volume to it. During this time, I tried a lot of different brands and ended up landing on Garnier Fructis. I really *thought* this was the best brand for me since it did better than the tons of other brands I tried and in comparison. Well, somewhat recently, I forgot to bring my shampoo and conditioner with me when visiting family and had to borrow some of the Aveeno Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo/conditioner they had. I ended up liking it and purchasing some after my Garnier ran out. Fast forward to now: I ran out of Aveeno and haven’t been able to find it in my local store before I needing to purchase more shampoo so I decided to do some research. I ended up purchasing this set of shampoo and conditioner because the reviews sounded great and while I haven’t used the conditioner just yet I am AMAZED by this shampoo. Seriously. After using this, I’m not sure how I ever thought my other go-to options were the best because this one just surpasses them by far (so that’s really saying something about the other brands that I thought were way worse than the Garnier and Aveeno ones I did like…). I have very thick, long hair, so I always found it difficult to really lather up my shampoo. It usually just sort of creates a thin layer of product that weighs down my hair and doesn’t want to break down or distribute throughout. This, of course, means it’s also hard to wash out completely, which is probably why my hair began to have less volume over the years and has been looking more flat/gets oily pretty quickly (because of the shampoo buildup). This shampoo, on the other hand, is super easy to lather up and takes significantly less product. It made my hair instantly feel lighter! I could pick up my hair in the shower and really run my fingers throughout it at the roots, massaging my scalp and getting the product all over. It also smells great! It’s not a specific scent and it’s not overbearing, but it’s a nice, light, fresh scent that I really like (which is surprising since I don’t typically enjoy products labeled as such – “fresh scent,” “ocean air,” “fresh linen,” etc.). It made my hair feel so clean after using it the first time and every time I’ve used it since, I am just more and more amazed – especially since it costs less per ounce than my previous ones did! After first use noticed a substantial difference in my hair. My hair was easier to brush without breakage. (I have really long, fine hair that tangles easily and difficult to brush with out having breakage). Really glad I decided to try dove intensive repair combo. I purchased the Dove intensive repair conditioner at our local Target unaware that it was marked "New Formula". My daughter used it that night and was complaining about the smell. I could smell it right away after she was out of the shower and was walking towards me. The odor of it was very strong and reminded me of a fabric softener that did not smell very good. I tried it next in the shower and not only does it not smell good the feeling of it does not seem as smooth on my hair, like it has less conditioning properties. This product was perfect before it was changed. Had a nice light and clean smell and left me hair so soft and easily to brush after using. After many many years of using this product I will need to search for another for my family to use as we just don't like the product anymore…. so sad. Make sure you smell before you buy.KAT
