I fell in love with this right away, paired with the Glossifying Shampoo after a fresh trim. Used with the brush dryer, you'll see smooth, sleek shine. I followed up with the plant serum in the green bottle & the straightening lotion & some mousse. This changed the entire look of my hair which was frizzy and dull, and turned it into straight, glossy (but not oily or greasy) and nicely set. My first experience with L'ANZA products was when I received a sample. My hair is very thin and fine, so I'm always looking for products that give it more body. I loved the sample and immediately ordered the thickening shampoo and thickening conditioner when I saw that they were an option. I can't say that the thickening was much different from the samples that I had tried. However, these products do not weigh my hair down and do leave my hair shiny with no loss of color fading. This shampoo SAVED my hair. I’ve been using Native shampoo conditioner for about 6 months and I noticed my scalp start to have so much dandruff. It was REALLY bad. My hit also seemed really oily pretty quickly. At this point, it felt like I just couldn’t get it out no matter how long I rinsed. There was just lots of build up. This shampoo literally saved my hair. After one wash, it felt significantly better and actually clean. I paired it with the curl quench conditioner on my ends (even though I have straight hair) and use a little on my scalp and my hair looks and feels so much better. I honestly picked this because it was the cheapest clarifier I could find with a good amount of fl oz. I was comparing to other brands. This clarifier is very good and I am glad I picked it up. I had such high hopes for this brand, and especially the shampoo. I love the way the bottle looks it's so cute in the blush color, and I've heard great things from so many people about that they love the shampoo. I hate it. I need a clarifying shampoo because once a week I put a ton of oil, and sometimes hair masks as well, on my hair. I'm trying to regrow my hair, a little bit over a year ago I was completely bald, so I use mostly biotin and Castor oils. My regular shampoo washes them out pretty well, as well as my cheap drugstore shampoo, even it washes the oils out okay. I just wanted a clarifying shampoo for these weekly hair oil treatments. This shampoo did not wash the oil out of my hair at all! I was worried after shampoo because I didn't feel that squeaky clean feeling I expect from a clarifying shampoo, but I kept going thinking that maybe it was just more moisturizing than others. Nope. I got out of the shower, blow dried my hair, and it looks like I still have a ton of oil in my hair, probably because I do. I really don't understand how this is a clarifying shampoo, I even shampoo twice in my shower too, that's my routine I always shampoo twice but especially when I have oil in my hair. My first order of business today will be returning this thing to Ulta and getting the Ouai Detox that I should have just splurged on in the first place. Then I need to rewash and blow dry my hair again, for the second time within 24 hours which is infuriating. Add to all of that the fact that this thing doesn't have any scent that I can smell. I expect my hair care products to be highly scented, I prefer musky non floral scents but regardless it should be scented. When I stick my nose in the bottle I can vaguely smell something, but when using it in the shower and after: nothing, smells like literally nothing. I picked up this shampoo because I live in an apartment and my shower has a lot of hard water and minerals that come from the pipes. I was very hopeful this shampoo would help to remove all that mineral and hard water buildup, which it did. however if you are going to use this, use a moisturizing mask afterwards because this will dry out your hair and make it tangly and unmanageable. Also only use this 1-2x monthly to avoid severely dehydrating your hair. This is an inexpensive product compared to other hard water or detox shampoos, but i have noticed the pricier options hydrate your hair a bit more while washing with them. I am in love with Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo! This is my first time trying Pureology and I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed about the smooth perfection shampoo was the scent, I loved the hints of cocoa. Upon first application I decided to use a small amount and I am glad I did, a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. I have really long hair and I only had to use a quarter size amount or less. I want to point out that I always have to use a handful of shampoo when I use my usual drugstore brand, so I was shocked by how little I had to use of the pureology. I massaged the shampoo in my hair for a good 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. My hair felt so soft and clean without feeling stripped at all. I typically have a lot of fallout when I wash my hair, but noticed less strands of hair coming out while washing. I followed up by using the pureology smooth perfection conditioner. I also use a quarter size amount or less and it was more than enough. I focused this conditioner at the ends of my hair and put whatever was leftover on my roots. I let the conditioner sit for the recommend time of 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. I felt like it took no time to wash all of the conditioner out. My hair was less tangled and overall felt so much healthier than what I am used to. I used the smoothing lotion on the ends of my hair, blow dried my hair and was so amazed by the end result. The end result after I blow dried and straightened my hair was incredible. My hair was less frizzy and more straight making it so easy to straighten. I would like to add that my hair is very wavy/curly and frizzy after washing. The price for the Pureology Smooth Perfection set is a bit expensive, but honestly it is worth every penny. I got this product complimentary from Influenster and Pureology for my honest review. I really loved how this product worked for my hair. It left it so smooth and silky. It lathered really nicely and felt great when I washed it. It also rinsed out nice and easy and left my scalp feeling great. When I blew my hair dry it was like silk. Absolutely fabulous! Only negative, which I was REALLY surprised about, was the scent of this product. It was not pleasant at all to me and not something like I’ve ever smelled in a shampoo. I didn’t like it and for me that is important in a shampoo. I have other Pureology products and love their scents. it’s just this one that I couldn’t tolerate. I received this product from influencer pureology, but all opinions are completely my own. I have enjoyed using this shampoo. I find that the combination of the shampoo conditioner does help smooth my long hair and does really help smooth frizz. The shampoo cleanes hair great, good lather though it can make hair feel only slightly stripped. Conditioner is a nice one that helps smooth but doesn't overdo it and cause hair to feel heavy. There is a holy grail of shampoos, and this is it. This is the shampoo that will make you understand why it's worth it to pay up for a shampoo. It is an EXPERIENCE. The smell is something I can't put my finger on. They must have formulated it from many different subtle scents that play superbly well together. It is amazing how a smell can transport you to the most luxurious place. You will feel like you are showering in a castle in France. At least I did. At first I felt that the bottle looked too rigid, making it difficult to extract shampoo from it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find it so pliable. I got the three set of mini products free through an offer on Sephora. I finally used them last night and my hair is pretty thick. Most of the products say from fine to medium but I feel they definitely worked on mine. On a YouTube review one of the products I got said not to use on blonde or red hair though. Pretty sure it wasn’t the shampoo though. Wasn’t crazy about the fact that I had to read how to use it on the Sephora site. Maybe on the full size bottles they say the directions on them, but for the most part it was all in French. But it didn’t bother me enough to deduct a star. Having coloured my hair for many years I am very conscious of the need to try and keep it in good condition and avoid colour fading so was very eager to try Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo. Nexxus is not a brand I am familiar with so was keen to see the results. As soon as I poured the shampoo into my hand I could feel the quality of this beautifully rich shampoo and the smell was absolutely divine. The shampoo lathered up easily into my hair with just a small amount of the product. It was easy to rinse out and my hair felt thick and full once it had been washed. Once my hair had been dried I could instantly see how shiny and well nourished my hair looked and felt and the colour of my hair has stayed more vibrant without any fading over the past couple of weeks. I've used this product for years, but they seem to have changed the formulation. I purchased two 1L bottles sometime ago. I bought the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner based on the great reviews and I am very disappointed. To clarify, I have extremely fine, thin and flat hair so I am always trying new shampoo and conditioner to try to boost volume and promote growth and so far nothing has really done the trick. Back to this specific shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is fine, smells great VERY strong minty scent if that is not your thing and gives you that tingling feeling which is nice. However, the conditioner was the WORST I have ever experienced for my type of hair. It left it so dried out and extremely tangled when I got out of the shower, it was the most horrendous thing to comb through. I would rip so much of my hair out every morning from combing, it was that tangled. So, if you want to use the shampoo and substitute with another conditioner like I had to do then its totally fine. My hairstylist recommended it to me after seeing that I had a flaky scalp that wasnt dandruff. I had been using Head and Shoulders and Selsun Blue to help, but I really hated how gunky they were, and didnt realize I didnt have dandruff but an incredibly sensitivedry scalp. When she told me that this would balance my scalp, I decided to give it a go. Its an all right product 2 weeks in, the scent and tingly feeling are the real attractive features. It helped for about a week and then my scalp decided to flake only on the edges of my hair line. I wash my hair every night with it and use the conditioner every 23 days. Its a thick product and it doesnt rinse as easily as other shampoos for me. I gave it higher stars because I believe my hair has actually improved using it. This is my favorite shampoo, and Ive been using it for months now. I suffer from extremely oily roots and dry ends, and this takes care of it. My hairdresser suggested that I try this, and although I skeptical I decided to try it anyway. While washing my hair the first time I could actually feel the shampoo washing away all of the oil that was on my scalp, and it felt amazing. Another plus what that it smelled absolutely amazing. After I dried my hair I noticed right away that it was much cleaner than it normally was, and my hair was not as limp as normal either. My hair dried better and it felt amazing. My roots were clean but the roots of my hair had not been overly dried either. The second day when my hair normally turns into a grease monster was amazing. My hair had little to no grease in it until the very end of the day, and I easily fixed that with a little bit of dry shampoo, and I could have gone a third day without washing if I had wanted too. This product really gets everything clean and keeps it clean, which is a problem with other products hair is clean but doesnt stay clean. I tried Dercos Protein Shampoo from Vichy and found it effective to repair the poor condition of my hair. I didn't get any allergic reaction, it's very gentle to my scalp. This shampoo has a creamy texture, subtle scent (not too strong, not too overpowering) and helped to deeply re-hydrate my hair making them softer, smoother in touch, stronger and generally healthier. I noticed the improvement after the second wash and I was very pleased. There is no silicone and no parabens, the formula is very nourishing. This is a decent shampoo for anyone who has oily roots and dry ends and wants something that’s going to properly clean the hair without further drying out the ends. I enjoyed using it, however it’s not a miracle cure for oiliness and didn’t really help with making my hair less greasy in the long run. I found I could go slightly longer without washing when I first started using it but my hair seemed to get used to the shampoo quickly and went back to being as greasy as it was before. I have long, fine, straight hair that is oily at the scalp and drier towards the bottom. I have to wash my hair on days I work or it will be oily and uncontained. I wanted a conditioner that would add extra moisture or longer lasting moisture to the bottom half of my hair. I only condition from the ears down. This conditioner has been great for daily use (5-6 days a week), but it did not give me the extra or longer lasting moisture I wanted. However this right here, this shampoo has been doing absoulete wonders for my hair! It leaves my hair feeling cleaned but doesn't strip my head. So admittedly I haven't had a lot of definable results. I got 2 sachets of the shampooing mask 2 in 1, and a small bottle of the shampoo with nettle, as a gift to try them out. Now with both products I tried to follow the instructions on the packages. To start off the small bottle of shampoo with nettle unfortunately wasn't really enough to do a while lot of anything to my hair. It didn't lather very well so 95% of my hair was completely untouched by the shampoo despite all my attempts to spread it out. I really dont think this was make for thick hair. Maybe it would work better for thin hair? Needless to say I didn't really feel any results after washing it out and when it dried I had to wash it all over again. Now i did get more results from the shampooing mask. That one at least by combining powder from both packets along with water did actually get most all of my hair. Now doing that mask in the shower was a pain in the butt! And was a bit of a mess. But I did see a little bit of difference in the oiliness of my hair. Not really a whole lot but I imagine longer usage would see better results. So overall I'm a little on the fence about both of these products. This shampoo is amazing! I have been using a different brand of tea tree shampoo for several years, but I needed a change, since I wasn't getting the same results I did years ago. I am so glad I decided to try the suave brand! Not only does this shampoo have tea tree oil in it, but it has hemp seed oil. The tea tree helps me with my dry scalp and prevents me from developing dandruff. The hemp seed oil helps with stimulating and maintaining hair growth. I love this shampoo since it gives my entire scalp a refreshing feeling. Since I have been using my hair is shiny, soft and silky. Best of all, it is tangle-free! I have had dry scalp for many years now and am constantly searching for different shampoos that will help me get rid of it. I've tried everything from expensive T-gels to almost every brand of dandruff shampoo out there. I have used Tea Tree oil shampoo before, and while it helped a little, wasn't very effective. By the second day after using it, the dandruff was back. This Suave Tea Tree and Hemp Seed Oil seems to be much better at helping with the dandruff. I have had much less white flakes even into the 3rd day after washing when I use this. One thing I have noticed however is that it tends to make my hair more frizzy and statically charged. I braid my hair after washing when it's wet, and then the day after I pull out the braids to have that nice wavy look to it. But with this shampoo, it makes my hair frizzy for the second day (which is good is you need more volume in your hair, otherwise, not so helpful), and by the third day, my hair is sticking to everything from the static charge. So while great for dandruff, I have to weigh in the frizziness and static to the review also. I would definitely recommend the product because of it's excellent job on dandruff despite the unfortunate side effects.rosepaw
I was so excited to try out Suave's new Revitalizing Tea Tree & Hemp Seed Oil Shampoo!! I've heard and read of all the great benefits of the two oils, but have yet to try either. I'm very picky about which products I use on my hair. As my hair is long, curly, frizzy, has some damage and just needs extra care. I wasn't sure how I would like Suave. Right away I noticed the scent, I love the smell, like mint! Not too strong, or light, just right. I did notice that the shampoo is not a thin, or as runny as some other's. Which is a good thing. It laters up and massages into my hair quite nicely. It also rinses out fast and easy, bonus. I love the fact this has tea tree oil in it, as it helps with various things. Such as dandruff, I don't suffer with dandruff, but it also provides antibacterial benefits, which help hair growth. It also has hemp seed oil, which has it all! Hemp seed oil contains many dietary nutrients, like vitamins, minerals, proteins, omega fatty acids, & more to support and help promote healthy hair. All of which I absolutely love and need right now with my hair. I just had it cut last month. Perfect time to take the best care of it I can, and providing it with both oils I feel will help my hair to become less frizzy, more voluminous, less damaged, and looking all around better. I have been looking everywhere for a shampoo for my daughters hair that will give her more time between washes. Her hair gets too oily too quickly for her age . (6) mine was also always the same. After trying a lot of shampoos. I bought this. Even while drying our hair I noticed a huge difference. ..no residue at all. The next morning her hair still looked very clean. Wouldn't buy this again. Didn't notice any difference and I don't recommend for bleached hair. I used this on newly bleached hair and it really dulled the colour. I went back to using my Davines shampoo and after reading about shampooing your hair twice, this actually got rid of any dry skin on the scalp. So may be worth people using their ordinary shampoo and just repeating the process?Hols

This is the only dandruff shampoo that I use and that really works. Have used it for years and would not use anything else.
