I am in love with Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo! This is my first time trying Pureology and I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed about the smooth perfection shampoo was the scent, I loved the hints of cocoa. Upon first application I decided to use a small amount and I am glad I did, a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. I have really long hair and I only had to use a quarter size amount or less. I want to point out that I always have to use a handful of shampoo when I use my usual drugstore brand, so I was shocked by how little I had to use of the pureology. I massaged the shampoo in my hair for a good 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. My hair felt so soft and clean without feeling stripped at all. I typically have a lot of fallout when I wash my hair, but noticed less strands of hair coming out while washing. I followed up by using the pureology smooth perfection conditioner. I also use a quarter size amount or less and it was more than enough. I focused this conditioner at the ends of my hair and put whatever was leftover on my roots. I let the conditioner sit for the recommend time of 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. I felt like it took no time to wash all of the conditioner out. My hair was less tangled and overall felt so much healthier than what I am used to. I used the smoothing lotion on the ends of my hair, blow dried my hair and was so amazed by the end result. The end result after I blow dried and straightened my hair was incredible. My hair was less frizzy and more straight making it so easy to straighten. I would like to add that my hair is very wavy/curly and frizzy after washing. The price for the Pureology Smooth Perfection set is a bit expensive, but honestly it is worth every penny. I got this product complimentary from Influenster and Pureology for my honest review. I really loved how this product worked for my hair. It left it so smooth and silky. It lathered really nicely and felt great when I washed it. It also rinsed out nice and easy and left my scalp feeling great. When I blew my hair dry it was like silk. Absolutely fabulous! Only negative, which I was REALLY surprised about, was the scent of this product. It was not pleasant at all to me and not something like I’ve ever smelled in a shampoo. I didn’t like it and for me that is important in a shampoo. I have other Pureology products and love their scents. it’s just this one that I couldn’t tolerate. Otherwise, I love how the product works, but due to the scent I would not buy this product. Sorry but it’s just my honest opinion. I only like haircare that has a nice pleasant smell and this one fell short in that area. It was almost like lightly nutty and musky and sour all mixed together. I received this product from influencer pureology, but all opinions are completely my own. I have enjoyed using this shampoo. I find that the combination of the shampoo conditioner does help smooth my long hair and does really help smooth frizz. The shampoo cleanes hair great, good lather though it can make hair feel only slightly stripped. Conditioner is a nice one that helps smooth but doesn't overdo it and cause hair to feel heavy. Both help cleanse and Condition my hair without feeling too dry or too weighed down. The heat protectant from this line is nice and I feel it helps smooth hair and help make it somewhat softer. I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I have been using the Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo for a month now. I really like the coconut scent, it lathers really well and I was very pleased that a little goes a long way as I have very long and thick hair. I wash my hair every 3rd day, but I wet my hair and condition it every day. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Conditioner the 2nd day. I always use leave in conditioner but that day I had to use double the amount of what I normally use. Otherwise my hair felt & looked dry & frizzy. The product definitely did help with detangling my hair, not totally, but to a great enough degree where I was pleased. I didn’t notice any improvement in shine though. I was hoping to experience much more of an overall difference from all the various products I have used in the past. No huge noticeable difference, and more expensive than what I currently use. I love that Shea Moisture Curl & Shine Coconut & Hibiscus Shampoo contain no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil. Thankful to have found and purchased this amazing shampoo. My desire to nourish and manage my natural 4C porosity hair came with a challenge. However, I remembered, that I purchased this shampoo and matching hair masque. However, for the information on Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque, the page is unavailable. My budget is tight at the moment, but I usually save up for what I need. I need the Hair Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque. Therefore, to increase the benefits to my damaged hair I gathered a portion of the Curl and Shine Hair Masque and combined it with a hint of tea tree oil, fresh rosemary water, rose water, and peppermint oil. Leaving in my hair for 30 minutes. My hair texture is incredibly moist. I shall continue this mixture until I am able to locate and purchase the High Porosity Moisture Replenish Masque, which I already know is perfect for the restoration of my hair. The chemical perm greatly damaged my hair, thinned my hair, and broke my hair off in places. After two years of studying Cosmetology without desiring to work in this field, I have learned valuable new detailed information about hair on my own. So I really enjoyed using the product on both my baby girl and my own hair. Because we have very very different hair types, I noticed some important things. She has a healthy head of very fine, very varied coil curls. The shampoo worked great on very wet hair, it lathered well for a clarifying shampoo without turning her hair into dry grass. I rinsed twice to make sure the water ran well and clear. The conditioner was light and moisturizing, as promoted. I took the time to work it into all strands while damp to slightly wet with a curly hair wet brush. Afterward rinsing the conditioner lightly, I put in the styling cream. Here I realized I'd put in way too much, but the effect was still very good. Her curls were less prone to tangling, moisturized and made beautiful defined coils. My hair is fine but wavy, not curly. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. This conditioner is amazing! Of all the conditioners I’ve ever used (I’m in my 20’s so I’ve been through a looot of conditioners!) this one is by far the best. I don’t need a huge amount of it to get my hair untangled, and when I do brush through it I barely have any tangles at all. It’s also very gentle on my hair and the smell is light and not overpowering. So impressed with this product and very glad to have found it. Okay, at first I was suspicious about this product because I really only knew Sun Bum for their sunscreen so I was a little confused seeing they did products for hair. But guys…this product is AMAZING. As someone who constantly buys products to help her curly hair, this has been a life changer. I bought this on a whim because I was like, what's the harm in another product supposedly for curly hair? Boy was I surprised!! I used to cowash because I was having such a hard time keeping my hair from getting frizzy but as a consequence my roots would get kinda greasy and sometimes my curls didn't look as hydrated as the cowash would advertise. Finallyyyyy I found a product that actually hydrates my hair, makes it look great curly, and isn't making it frizzy or puffy. The only con about this product is that I really really wish they made versions of this product in larger bottles because the conditioner tends to go quickly especially if you have long curly hair like me. Delicious! Smells so good! I bought it to control frizz in my wavy hair. I am using in conjunction with the Curls & Waves Styling Creme and it is a nice combo for soft hair. Wow! Best shampoo I have ever used by far! I have spent years trying to find a shampoo that doesn’t make my hair a tangly matted mess but this cleans my scalp and give my hair slip and hydration at the same time, I have dry curly / wavy hair that gets split ends and breaks easily and I have noticed a significant different in the ends and over all appearance and feel of my hair since using this shampoo and the correlating conditioner. The shampoo has a decent lather and you don’t need much of it as a little goes a long way. The only downside is that for me this product was a lot more than what I’d usually spend on a shampoo/ conditioner but is definitely worth the investment for something that actually works for my hair for once.sophie.b
I really wanted to like this but I just couldn’t so I returned it. The scent was the most part for me… I expected the same scent as the original Moroccanoil Hair oil so maybe my expectation was high? It was almost like those glade spray fresh clean scent to me. I have long hair (almost touches my coxis; half of it is dyed because I’m trying to achieve a melted effect.. from my natural dark brown to grey) So my ends need help to maintain its elasticity, moisture and prevent split ends. I got everything from this brand that I was able to afford to start taking care of it . (Repair, protect and restorative products) It has passed 2 weeks and I’m planning on keep washing my hair every 3-4 days; I have experienced NO frizz as before, no tangle hair, it’s feels soft , smell great, more manageable. Buy a pump because the large bottle can be unwieldy I searched for one online that would fit the bottle at a reasonable price, I use the Kerastase Discipline Keratin Thermique Creme on my damp hair before blow drying to further discipline my unruly hair which compliments the Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo & conditioner perfectly. My GHD Platinum Plus Straighteners finish the styling. The Aveda Smooth Infusion shampoo & conditioner help stop your hair turning into a frizz ball in hot & humid weather too. I don't hate my unruly hair, i can wear it in various styles & it has plenty of natural body, but it needs products like I have mentioned to control it. I'm so grateful to have this shampoo. I've been using it for about 7 years now, after getting it from my favorite salon. It never feels greasy, cleans well but doesn't strip, smells great but won't interfere with your own scents if you choose, and prevents tangling like nothing else (with the conditioner). My hair also stays clean longer than with other shampoos and isn't weighed down. It has been great for both when I was colored blonde and with my natural light brown (somewhat fine hair fine, but lots of it). Thanks for such a great product! Living Proof gifted me this product and the accompanying conditioner in exchange for my honest review. I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I have dry, thin, often frizzy hair and a sensitive scalp. I have previously enjoyed the PhD in-shower styler and dry shampoo from Living Proof, but this is my first time trying out shampoo and conditioner from the brand. I love the scent of living proof products and this one is no different. I saw this product on a show. They showed a lady to has heat damaged her hair using hot irons, curling irons, etc and was experiencing serious frizz as a result. They treated one side of her hair with the shampoo, conditioner and no frizz styling cream and the other side they left untreated. They proceeded to use a steam releasing appliance and viola, her hair did not frizz. These products work to eliminate frizzy hair by blocking humidity – and without weighing hair down (sulfate-free). First thing I notice as I am using the shampoo, my hair is not tangling as usual and the shampoo has a very nice citrus scent .. After rinsing out the shampoo, I used the conditioner. I used according to directions and my hair felt wonderful and moisturized. Next, I used the leave-in conditioner and began to blow dry my hair. These products left my hair with lots of shine, manageable and so light, bouncey and straight that I had to look twice. I do color process my hair so it was very important that I used a product which did not strip or dull my color. It rained that day so I had a chance to see if the product worked. It did!!!!! This has got to be my favourite line from kerastase! My hair type is very thick, over processed hair with a natural wave. I find it hard to find a shampoo which nourishes my hair and that doesn’t leave it even more dry and thirsty then it already is. This shampoo- the consistency of this is amazing , thick and creamy , hair feels instantly nourished while I’m washing it. Feels like a layer of protection is on the hair (the keratin I suspect) beautiful! Honestly, since I started using this shampoo with the conditionner, my curls came back to life. I have very thick and curly hair and this shampoo along with the conditionner really helped reduce the frizz and dryness of my hair and a little really does go a long way so you can make it last! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price point: it's PRICEY. And I really wished that they offered bigger format for a more "economic" alternative especially for people with longer and thicker hair that obviously need to use more of the product than thinner hair. I really wanted to like this product! I was excited to try it, It smells greattt! But I naturally have super thick/long hair and it did not do a good job of making my hair feel clean. My hair still felt dirty, greasy and itchy when I got out of the shower. It also produces very little suds, which is something I need a lot of to properly clean my thick hair. I even reapplied it, and tried to emulsify it while in the shower and still nothing. It might be a good one for some, but for all my thicker haired gals, this isn't the one. Just a heads up!Karigan

My hair has always been fine but now that I'm 58, on hormones and thyroid meds, my hair is thin. I first tried Full shampoo almost a year ago and didn't notice a change in my hair. I was given another bottle in May and tried it again. I was amazed. My hair was more full and manageable within a week or so. I then saw the Flourish shampoo and thought the description was exactly for me. Unfortunately, it was not and I started to see thin spots on my temples. I also noticed the Flourish shampoo does not lather the way the Full shampoo does. It makes it hard to be sure you have applied it to your whole head. Normally I wouldn't care about lather but when it is a treatment shampoo it is needed to ensure you get coverage. I have what most consider to be type 3B curly hair, and I often struggle to find hair products that strike the right balance between taking care of thick, curly and dry hair that can easily get damaged, and ensuring shine, bounce, life and health to my curls. I don't want something to hydrate and moisturize but leave my hair looking flat and greasy, nor do I want my hair to look like shiny ringlets but be crunchy or feel like unmanageable straw. The search has been lifelong. I have tried Shea Moisture products before, and they have been good, but I think the Papaya & Neroli All Day Frizz Control line is really striking all the right notes for my hair. The Papaya & Neroli All Day Frizz Control Shampoo is lovely to use. Non-stripping, it cleans effectively, though I feel that two washes with light product use works better than one wash with a heavier hand as rinsing it out well is key. It lathers, but not crazily, and there is a distinct scent though I don't find it bothersome and the entire range is not strong enough to trigger my sensitivities. I don't find that the shampoo weighs down my hair if well rinsed, and there has been no build up over the few weeks I have used it so far, while my hair has looked very healthy since I switched to these products. This is probably one of the best shampoos I've ever used. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and manageable. I have wavy hair. It doesn't strip the natural oils from the scalp. One con is that it doesn't lather up like how typical shampoos do so I think I end up using more than I should be BUT I can look past that because of the results. It made my hair come back to life after hair dyes had caused damage of dryness and lifeless hair. It’s more youthful because it’s shiny, wavy and soft again! It actually works as promised! I just finished this bottle and I'm sorry to say I won't buy it again. The shampoo itself is ok but I feel like it weighs my hair down. But I am hating this new container designs. It arrived leaking within the plastic bag. And then somehow, the bottle continued to leak from the top even though I had it stored upright. By the time I finished the bottle, the whole thing had a thick coating of shampoo on it. AND there's no way to open the top to add a little water to get all of the product out. I have noticed a change in my hair and scalp since I started to use them both together. My hair has a lot less frizz than before with other brands. It leaves my smooth with no frizz at all. I have a very dry scalp but also wavy frizzy hair. I typically use dandruff specific shampoo and conditioner as that is all I’ve found that works for my hair and scalp. I was very excited to try something new and so far have been very pleased with the results. I like to shampoo twice since I only wash weekly (once to clean out dirt/product buildup and again to really clean my scalp). The scent of this shampoo was very pleasant and I loved the thick texture-not watery at all. It also creates a good lather which is important to really get my scalp feeling clean. However my hair is super dry. I like using heavily moisturizing products from time to time to feed my hair. The products were too heavy for fine straighter hair, but it really moisturized heavily. My hair has a healthy strong feel and a beautiful glisten that it has after a moisturizing hair mask. I tried Nat*reLab T*kyo’s repair line for ~1yr and while it did help with the damage, it couldn’t bring my waves back, and I had MAJOR silicone buildup on my hair and scalp (yuck!). Back in May (2021) I started using this shampoo along with the super smooth cream conditioner, and my hair has never looked better. After just ONE wash, my hair had more body and volume than ever before, and over the past few months, my waves have been coming back 🙂 They look more uniform, less frizzy, and honestly curlier than they did even before I damaged my hair. The bottle looks small, but the shampoo has lasted me 3.5 months so far and there’s still enough left for me to keep using it for 1-2 more months. I’m very happy I found these products and I hope y’all never change the formula lol. (side note: my hair has also grown about 6 inches since I started using this! I follow a modified Curly Girl Method, basically I just use approved products but have to diffuse my hair since it would take all day to dry and I don't have time for that. I have fine, thin/sparse hair that needs shampoo every wash (which is two to three times a week). I got this because I have done everything suggested to combat frizz but nothing worked. I wanted an actually CG approved and tested product. I am still having issues but since I've started diffusing my hair about 10-15 minutes after getting out of the shower my frizz has gone down a little. Maybe I just have frizzy hair and no amount of anything will help, but I thought I'd try clarifying too. This product smells nice and is not overpowering. Maybe if you are sensitive to smells it still might bother you but I think you should at least try it. It doesn't linger post shower and maybe only a trace scent is left. I have short hair (just above chin length when curly) so I don't very often catch wiffs of my hair. I only know this because I used this before I got my hair cut (it was halfway down my neck when curled so some hair in the front could reach my nose for me to smell). It does not dry out my hair and even before using conditioner I can run my fingers through my hair when putting conditioner in–not completely tangle free but a lot better than what I had used before (Shea Moisture Clarifying something or other). Also, my hair does not feel squeaky clean which is great and allows an easier time of putting in conditioner. My hair feels clean but not striped of natural oils, which is exactly as I had hoped! I will say it does not lather up a lot and since I wear glasses and can't see well enough without getting super close to a mirror I probably use more than you need. I use enough so I can see the lather and it is minimal. I like that the bottle is a concentrated squirt top so you can easily get it to your scalp. I would definitely buy this again! It will last quite a while since you don't clarify often (I do twice a month and may drop off to once a month if I see better results with the rest of my routine.) Worth the price in my opinion if you don't clarify a lot.Emily A.
Ever since I started embracing my curls/waves and started the curly girl method I've been on the look out for products that work with my hair. I came across Bounce Curl after hearing so many good things about it across social media. I don’t really write reviews unless I see that a product actually works and it lives up to what it claims to do, so after trying this shampoo several times I thought that I’d share my personal experience so far. Not only has this shampoo brought in the moisture my hair craves but it has also reduced the amount of frizz my hair experiences. I must admit I was a little nervous trying this shampoo because my scalp tends to flake due to dryness however, I was very pleased with the results. Frankly, I was in awe because after my first wash, there was no sign of flaking in my scalp which happens a lot with other products. This in fact was the first shampoo that moisturizes and cleansed my scalp without over-stripping. I truly appreciate the clean and high quality ingredients Bounce curl utilizes and their dedication and care that reflects through their happy customers and results most importantly. I think that Bounce Curl lives up to the hype and I'm more than happy to continue to use their products. As a reference, I have high density hair, medium thick hair, and dry-prone hair (high-porosity perhaps) so this shampoo was perfect. Ok so! I love this shampoo. This has been the only shampoo to clean my hair and bot dry it out. My natural gwols know how frustrating it can be to wash, moisturize and style your hair and then it be dry and toe up the next. I know how it feels to buy a hundred plus dollars of products to be disappointed or mixing them with new products so money isn't wasted. I washed my hair the first day I bought this and fell in love. My hair was soft. It didn't dry out after and the tea tree leave-in…girl use that too! I haven't tried the detailing conditioner yet because they were out of stock when I purchased. Probably because of that half off sale. I did find that this and Taliah's apple aloe deep conditioner work well together. My hair was shiny, easy to comb and style. I also used the Tgin moisturizer. I have a mix of 4b and 4c hair. My daughter's has 4b hair and it works perfect for her. Her wash and go's hold all day even after recess and a long day at school. My sister has used a nice amount of the leave in and moisturizer, now I have to buy more lol. I am going to try the honey mask and the anti-breakage serum. I will be leaving reviews also. I want to note I am leaving this review after a few weeks of using. I like to get a feel. I washed my hair with the Taliah apple aloe shampoo and it was giving dry and not for me. Let me start off my by saying this product is AMAZINGGGGG ! I usually have a very hard time finding the right products for my hair especially when it comes to shampoo . My hair is usually VERY dry and soaks up moisture QUICK most shampoos tend to leave my hair even more dry and brittle feeling. this shampoo along with the conditioner has done wonders for my hair. After washing my hair with this shampoo it’s left feeling so soft and manageable making my hair easier to stay detangingd throughout the wash process ! I have moderately frizzy but mostly straight Caucasian hair and I've been using natural, sulfate/paraben free shampoos for a year or so now. I like TGIN because it makes my hair SUPER silky and soft. The conditioner detangles so well that I can easily wide tooth comb my hair straight out of the shower. However, my hair does feel very heavy and has NO volume whatsoever after using this. I also have to wash more frequently as my hair gets oily way faster, oily to the point it looks bad. To the touch and the eye, my hair looks fantastic with this product but I might look for something that doesn't require such frequent washing in the future.Jauhnam8

This spray does give your hair a boost that probably couldn’t be achieved otherwise. It is in liquid form that you spray on your roots and let it do it’s magic. The reason I am giving it three stars is the condition it leaves your hair of the areas the product was applied to. It feels like it has been back combed. I like my hair to feel natural, regardless of which products are used. When wearing this, I am unable to run my fingers through my hair for instance. This stuff is pure MAGIC! You only need a tiny spritz on the roots. This product is tricky, here is how I recommend using it. On clean wet hair, spray in your leave in conditioner/ moisturizing products first, then rough Blowdry your hair to about 60% dry, then as you Blowdry your hair, use this product on your roots section by section at the root. A little goes a long way so you don’t need to spray it all over, one spray at the root is enough per section to give you volume and hold that will last for days. If you spray too much, your hair will be hard to manage and hard to put a brush through so just a small spritz is enough! This product Can last you forever!!!! To start – I have coily, thick hair but very thin hair strands. This has been the ONLY shampoo I’ve ever used that doesn’t completely strip my hair or cause ridiculous tangles in the shower. I’ve been using this for about 3/4 years now and I have no complaints. I’m able to start my wash days off without stress because of this shampoo. It’s also gentle on my hair. I’ve also had success in the past with using it to get my hair “squeaky clean” just by doing a deep double wash versus one. I’ve yet to even encountered a conditioner that detangles my hair as well as this does! I hope this product never gets discontinued because I’m 100% loyal to this product!!Amber B
I was looking for something more moisturizing for my relaxed hair as my current shampoo was too clarifying, despite claiming to be moisturizing as well. I switched to this one and after one wash, condition and flat iron, it's giving fresh out the salon chair. Much fewer fly-aways, my hair looks shinier and physically feels more moisturized. I'm sure I could've detangled with the shampoo but I waited until I deep conditioned to be safe. 10/10.Gab
Ok curly girls! This is a true find. I purchased this from Ulta. I had never heard of this brand before so I stumbled upon it. I thought why not give it a chance and wow so glad I did. This is a sulfate free shampoo but does lather up. It lives up to it's name! You want moisturized curls? Well here it is. Soft hair? Here it is. What I love about this product as soon as you put this sulfate free shampoo on your hair you can tell the difference compared to other sulfate free shampoo. I love that it lathers up and feels slick in my hair. It really detangles my hair and when you rinse your hair you can actually run your finger through your hair. This product also helps with frizz. So yes run out and get yourself a bottle you'll be glad you did. Trust me I have tried so many high priced shampoos that didn't live up to the hype. Price is decent. This is now my shampoo of choice. I will be buying this again for sure. I highly recommend this product for the curly girls out there. And yes now I will be trying other products from this brand.Colleen
