This conditioner is 10/10. I have tried “The One� conditioner and have also loved that one as well, but this one has different benefits. For one, it’s super light and not as thick as some conditioners, the slip is great. My hair used to look so dull if I didn’t wash it and now it looks shinier and feels super soft. My hair doesn’t feel heavy. The no fragrance makes a huge difference because I don’t have those extra unnecessary chemicals drying out my hair. One con for this is the bottle size. I should’ve bought a bigger bottle because of my thick hair I have to use a lot of product. The small bottle featured in the photo was between $10 and $13 and lasted me about 2 weeks. This formula literally caused my head and scalp to become insanely itchy and when you scratch, since the formula is so drying, your scalp gets flaky. I used this shampoo only once, and I could feel it making my hair a strange brittle texture as I washed it. I can generally wash my hair and not use conditioner, except for the first week after I get highlights. I could not even run my hands through my hair after washing. Needed to use a conditioner, and then still had trouble getting a brush through it. The bottom 2 inches of my hair remain unmaneageable since I used this product. Now I am forced to use conditioner just to brush through my hair after washing, even though I am using my previous shampoo. Very unhappy that it basically wrecked my hair. This shampoo SAVED my hair. I’ve been using Native shampoo conditioner for about 6 months and I noticed my scalp start to have so much dandruff. It was REALLY bad. My hit also seemed really oily pretty quickly. At this point, it felt like I just couldn’t get it out no matter how long I rinsed. There was just lots of build up. This shampoo literally saved my hair. After one wash, it felt significantly better and actually clean. I paired it with the curl quench conditioner on my ends (even though I have straight hair) and use a little on my scalp and my hair looks and feels so much better. I honestly picked this because it was the cheapest clarifier I could find with a good amount of fl oz. I was comparing to other brands. This clarifier is very good and I am glad I picked it up. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. This product will also last long since we should not be clarifying our hair often. I have curly hair with a kinky texture. The directions says to use a dime-quarter size amount and I would stick by that. I used a little more than quarter size and my hair/scalp was clean fast. I had such high hopes for this brand, and especially the shampoo. I love the way the bottle looks it's so cute in the blush color, and I've heard great things from so many people about that they love the shampoo. I hate it. I need a clarifying shampoo because once a week I put a ton of oil, and sometimes hair masks as well, on my hair. I'm trying to regrow my hair, a little bit over a year ago I was completely bald, so I use mostly biotin and Castor oils. My regular shampoo washes them out pretty well, as well as my cheap drugstore shampoo, even it washes the oils out okay. I just wanted a clarifying shampoo for these weekly hair oil treatments. This shampoo did not wash the oil out of my hair at all! I was worried after shampoo because I didn't feel that squeaky clean feeling I expect from a clarifying shampoo, but I kept going thinking that maybe it was just more moisturizing than others. Nope. I got out of the shower, blow dried my hair, and it looks like I still have a ton of oil in my hair, probably because I do. I really don't understand how this is a clarifying shampoo, I even shampoo twice in my shower too, that's my routine I always shampoo twice but especially when I have oil in my hair. My first order of business today will be returning this thing to Ulta and getting the Ouai Detox that I should have just splurged on in the first place. Then I need to rewash and blow dry my hair again, for the second time within 24 hours which is infuriating. Add to all of that the fact that this thing doesn't have any scent that I can smell. I expect my hair care products to be highly scented, I prefer musky non floral scents but regardless it should be scented. When I stick my nose in the bottle I can vaguely smell something, but when using it in the shower and after: nothing, smells like literally nothing. And I had the same panic too with no scent so I checked and I can smell everything else just not this shampoo. 0/10 would definitely not recommend this shampoo, maybe the regular one is better, but I won't be finding out.jennifer.h

I am a hair product junkie and love to find products that allow my hair to be at its best. For the record, I have wavy hair that tends to be dry and frizzy at times. After shampooing with Extra Love Shampoo, I applied the conditioner for about 3 minutes. My hair felt soft and healthy which was exactly how it looked when it was dried. I would have loved a bit more hydration, but I’m sure a deep treatment or mask would be able to deliver that. Overall, great results and definitely a conditioner I would keep on rotation. I have natural curly hair, and using the IGK Extra Love Shampoo was not what I expected. It had a floral-like scent which was nice. The texture was creamy. Once I applied it, it did not lather. I massaged it on my scalp and roots, but it felt like all it did was dry up my hair. I don’t feel like my hair is clean, since I’m my hair feels more like it was stripped off its oils. Do I see any volume? A little bit but not enough for me to be wowed. I do not recommend this for those with curly hair, as I couldn’t even run my fingers through my wet hair during shampoo and after rinsing. My hair actually feel heavy and dirty. Ok – IGK does it AGAIN! This haircare brand can do no wrong in my book. My hair is thin and usually gets pretty oiling fast so I am quite picky about my shampoo because I need that super clean, but not stripped hair kinda clean. My hair felt super soft and scalp felt so clean, i was able to go 3 days without washing – thats a huge win in my book! The scent did not bother me, it did not really stand out to me either. The texture was just like any other shampoo, but I can confirm there was a great lather! I always recommend IGK to my friends and family and will definitely recommend this shampoo too. I received the Nioxin System 1 (3 pieces) for free for testing purposes. These are my own opinions. First, I’d like to share that I’ve been using the 3 piece set (shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment) for a little over a month. I do not shampoo my hair daily and I try to go as many days as possible in between washes. That being said, I still saw some results in the short amount of time I used this product. First, the shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean. The smell is pleasant and there is a cooling, tingling sensation with these products that I really enjoy. My scalp can be on the dry side sometimes and it’s been looking clear with no irritation. The conditioner is nice and a little goes a long way. I massage the shampoo and conditioner into my scalp and I try to keep both products on for a few minutes in the shower so they can “sink in and work their magic�. After the shower I wrap my hair in a hair towel to absorb most of the moisture. Using a wide tooth comb, I detangle my hair, make a part on my scalp and spray the scalp treatment. I continue this all over my head. Comb-part-spray. I massage this product into my head and then style as usual. Ever since having kids (7 years ago) my hair has gone from crazy thick to thinning. It’s depressing and scary. I’ve collagen and biotin but I didn’t notice much of a difference. After using Nioxin for this short amount of time, I’m already seeing baby hairs!!! I’m hoping it’s new growth and not breakage. It looks like new to me. I wish this campaign was longer so I could have more time to know for sure. I’m happy with the results. I tried the Nioxin System 1 shampoo cleanser for about a month to help with my thin texture hair. Even though I have long hair, I have thinning hair near my temples or towards the front of my head with a thinning hairline in the front and towards the top of my head mostly due to an autoimmune thyroid disease condition. The Nioxin shampoo was effective in helping with my hair loss as I noticed more thicker hair coming in where I suffer from hair loss. This shampoo also helped thicken the texture of my thin hair. I also notice this shampoo was really great at cleansing my scalp removing residue and leaving my scalp with less residue. I didn’t really care too much for the menthol minty smell or the tingling sensation it left in my scalp but it let me know that the shampoo really works to stimulate the scalp. I was searching for a new go to shampoo and conditioner, something for my fine but thick, damaged and frizzes easily hair (its humid in the south), as I'm growing it out since I had to do a big chop. I did alot of searching online reading reviews on all products, that was my make or break on finally making a purchase. WTBS I'm super happy with this product and have been using it for over a month before even writing a review. The shampoo is so fragrant, it WOW'd me, it doesn't smell that strong out the bottle, I love it, but if you are sensitive to strong scents you might not like it, but after using over a week or so, you get used to its power and enjoy it alot. Lathers well, my hair feels super clean and soft, mega sleek is exactly what you get with this combination. When blow drying you can still smell the luxurious smell, faintly not over powering but where you know your hair smells SO GOOD! My frizz and fly aways are definitely helped by this product. I normally straighten my hair almost daily, but since my big chop and I'm growing out my natural hair, I want it super healthy and the least amount damaged as possible, so right now no flat iron only blow drying and it looks very good! I haven't had a haircut in over 22 weeks so I can only imagine how it would look straightened with the help of this Mega Sleek. This will be my shampoo and conditioner for a long time. The conditioner is nice and slimey (if you have hair like mine that will tangle horribly and you need a slimey conditioner just to be able to comb it after.. my hair is shoulder length now, but used to be LONG, my hair acts no different with a different length), its very conditioning and works very well!!! I have zero complaints on both these products and do recommend! Only warning is the scent if you are sensitive, you can always try and return, but give it a fair chance. I honestly love this stuff and so glad I found the right product so I can stick with something that makes me and my hair happy. FINALLY!! P.S. I leave my conditioner upside down, so its easier to squeeze it out VS shaking the bottle to get the conditioner to come out since its thick not runny.Jessica
I really love that this product truly makes my fizzy, wavy hair less frizzy and sleek! I come out of the shower with shiny hair and it seems to stay much more tame than with standard shampoos!! I am very happy with this shampoo! This shampoo has little to no scent, so it's great for people who also prefer mild-scented hair products! I have been using Nioxin for about 5 years. Looking for something different and good to alternate with Nioxin set. I’ve used this John Frieda twice and very happy with the results. My greasy hair looks bouncy, full and shiny for 4 days before next wash. Con/ suggestion: Please add an inside seal on the tube to prevent leakage during transit. Walmart: super fast on shipping and great customer service in replacing my order. I ordered this item on the WMT app. Got the item delivered within 2 days. The shampoo tube was busted (due to no extra protection/ sealant) during transit and spilled all over inside the shipping envelope. I processed the replacement on the app and received it in 2 days. I tried this when the Luxurious Volume range got discontinued (touchably full and the colour care which I used for a decade). It made my hair greasy, lank and flat. I have given it to my daughter who uses it but she says she has to use it twice to get her hair clean. I wonder if JF will start making the Luxurious Volume Touchably Full or Colour Care ever again. I’ve had to research new brands and nothing compares to these. My husband would be so happy too as he has exactly the same issue.Olly

A confusing product for sure, if I had to describe this mask in emoji form, it would be the thinking face emoji, because it left me perplexed and not quite sure how I felt. I've used hair masks before and I was expecting that this, like them, would be applied to the hair at a separate, non-shower time and left, then rinsed out in the shower.So for clarity's sake (because the listing doesn't have much info) you are supposed to use this AFTER shampooing, like a conditioner and then stand around in the shower for five minutes before washing it out. I'm not so much a fan of that, I do prefer a mask that I can sit down and relax with while it's on, ideally a longer mask that can go with a face mask, so you can feel like you're getting more of a spa treatment. This is more like a sheet conditioner than a mask, which makes the sheet part at all feel a bit pointless.I do have short hair, so I didn't have any of the problems with fitting my hair in the cap that others seemed to have and it did leave my hair soft and shiny (though not any more than a good conditioner). I like the fact that it's not tested on animals and that the cap is cute. When you first see the cap you're going to be confused because it looks waaaay too big to fit on a human's head. It's comically big. But it actually fits well, though I did have to slide it back like a beanie cap to stop it falling in my eyes.My two biggest complaint about this would be 1) the mask goo is hazardously slippery in my shower. Even dropping conditioner in the shower previously, it rinses away easily and I've never had any problems with slipping, even after rinsing all over my shower, hair and feet, my shower was so slippery I really struggled to get out without falling. So be really, really careful when using this.2) I really feel like the term 'mask' is misleading and since it stays in for such a short time, I think conditioner is just easier and does as good a job. Would love to see a longer, non-shower based 'mask' instead.Minor complaint, but the sticker is also really fiddly to figure out and apply with wet hands and no mirror. I ordered this balancing Shampoo and conditioner with other product from the same brand in the last two weeks . I start to urs it immediately following the instructions. I found out from the very first time I use it the stopping of my hair fall. My hair for some reason start to fall too much after my second child, no illness involved in any type. I didnt really thought will not come back as it used to do. Now my hair is so thin that I thought if this shading will not stop soon I will be eventually bald. For a female this is not acceptable. So I start to search for natural products that can help me, and here we are , this product save my hair, now my hair stopped falling as it used to be. And this fact alone is so great that at least I know there is hope to regain what I lost in the last year .Now, its really nice after it dry completely. I got this balancing Shampoo and conditioner for my brother but as I read more about it and how it is supposed to treat the scalp, I became more interested in it for myself. I have a severe allergy to balancing Shampoo and conditioners and hair products and the one Id been relying on stopped working, causing my scalp to freak out and get eczema/psoriasis type condition. Trying to find a new balancing Shampoo and conditioner lead to hair falling out. I do have fine, thin hair, but I dont have an issue with hair loss, but I bought this with hopes in healing my scalp and promoting growth for what was lost. My scalp has cleared up 100%. It is so happy when using this balancing Shampoo and conditioner. No more flaws, hives or itchiness! My hair has strengthened and strand loss has gone down, but I used to have flare ups.This does make your hair straw like if you lather it up carelessly. I try not to, and its imperative that you follow using a conditioner of your choosing so it will be manageable. I also follow with a detangler spray before I blow dry.For me the scent smells like a lemon-like cleaning product but I just follow with a body spray in my daily routine so it doesnt bother me. Its not too strong or offensive, Im just used to a more luxurious scent.I recommend this for scalp health. I bleach the daylights out of my hair on a regular basis and use Pravana's line of color enhancers which is great for maintaining the blonde but is rough on the hair. I switched diet around and got on supplements to help aid in healing my hair but it was still very lackluster. My stylist is a hardcore Paul mitchell fan and recommended this and dear lord does it deliver. I went from soggy spaghetti to a full on lions mane. It's gotten to the point where I've switched from volume to control sprays. The volume even holds on days when I use my purple shampoos which is amazing. I have very fine hair. I can wrap a normal hair band around ALL my hair 4-5 times it's so fine. This shampoo was recommended to me and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. My hair definitely feels thicker and fuller. It does more than just about any volumizing shampoo I've ever tried. I really like the scent too, but I'm a fan of citrus so that wasn't a surprise. It isn't an overpowering scent, but it is pleasant. The cons I see are that it makes my hair somewhat coarse or rough (maybe that's how it gets thicker??). Does what it claims as far as aesthetics, plus it has a nice light lemon scent. My hair did look nice and full when using this, and it didn't weigh it down at all. I have very fine and thin hair, so it's common for products to be too heavy for me. However, after about a month and a half of use I noticed my scalp getting a little flaky. I normally have a very oily scalp (and skin in general) and don't typically have any issue with dandruff. My scalp was also slightly tender if I scratched it. So unfortunately I think this product crosses the line from volumizing into drying and stripping. Maybe alternating this shampoo with a moisturizing or scalp-care one would work, but I would personally rather find an all-in-one product. I have mixed feelings about this shampoo and conditioner. Got both in the standard size a couple of months ago. At first, I really liked it, but I didn't love it. It didn't leave my hair as dry as some other shampoos do, and the conditioner made them feel smoother without adding more weight, even while still in a shower. These days, I wash my hair a couple of times a week, so I expected that this stay-at-home regiment would help my strands heal. I have fine curly hair that I used to straighten daily with a dryer and sometimes iron until relatively recently. What happened with this set, however, is that I started having dandruff after about a month. I had never had dandruff in my life before! It also seems that I'm losing more hair than I used to. Despite using a decent amount of conditioner, I can barely brush my wet hair. And if I don't brush when it's still wet, I may not be able to brush it at all. This is despite using the Ghost oil (that I generally like) and Moroccan Oil leave-in conditioner for my ends. I was attributing these issues to the general stress and cold weather but as I read negative reviews, I thought of other brands that I liked at the beginning and then started to like less, and it was the opposite problem: they made my hair greasy after two bottles, but at the beginning, they moisturized and conditioned perfectly. This product was so bad, I'm writing my first ever Ulta review. I was truly so excited about this shampoo/conditioner, but i've now been using it for 2-3 weeks and can easily say my hair has never felt worse. I have long dirty blonde straight hair that's fairly thick- this product manages to DRY it out, so badly that even my scalp started getting itchy and flaky (something that hasn't happened to me in years). When i let it air dry, it feels like my hair is hardening into a little shell. I thought maybe I was leaving product in, but now i scrub for so long trying to avoid the helmet head feeling, that it makes the dryness and scalp even worse. On top of all that, because of how drying it is, my hair gets greasy FAST. like within 24 hours. It's tangly, it's greasy, it feels like the sahara, it's truly awful. When I bought this shampoo I thought it was pretty basic but after trying other shampoos, I realized it's a good thing. A safe choice for people that have little to no hair concerns and just want something to get the job done. There's a light citrus smell that doesn't linger after you leave the shower. Lathers well enough to feel clean but not drying. I don't get this squeaky or straw like feeling I get with other shampoos while washing. There's not too much of a moisture effect that feels like it's being weighed down it also doesn't give me scalp acne. The thing I liked most was how when my hair finished drying, my scalp didn't feel tight, dry, or itchy. It just felt normal. I do have to say that there isn't super significant results when it comes to how your hair looks. It just makes my hair feel lighter and balanced. The 8oz bottle feels pretty wasteful of plastic. I've been trying to switch to shampoo bars but I've only found one that doesn't make my hair get buildup and look greasy. This stuff, on the other hand is great. It lets me go days between washes without my hair getting oily and gross looking. I've been searching for a product to help my formerly thick hair revert back to its natural state. It has thinned a bit since I started coloring it, and I've been wanting to get it healthy again. I liked it the first two times i used it but subsequent shampoos left my hair dry and make it look thinner. Conditioner did not help. I just don't think it is a quality shampoo. I have found this problem with cheap shampoos. I went back to using Loreal Everpure Volume shampoo. Even though it is not very expensive it seems to be a good shampoo for my hair.Update: I can no longer use Loreal Everpure shampoo. It started making my head itch. I am trying the Jason again. I was VERY surprised at how well this works. The shampoo lathers generously, I found rubbing it in between my hands for a bit and then putting my hands through my hair was sufficient to produce enough foam for my medium long hair. The conditioner is a little less intuitive, it’s a bit harder to tell how much is enough but again, just moving the bar over my hair a few times turned out to be enough. Now the best part: my hair felt and looked great afterwards. Lighter somehow and very healthy, without the usual frizz. I will definitely keep using this duo. The only thing I might wish for is a slightly stronger scent. It is very neutral smelling in my opinion. I’m not a fan of strong scents and I never wear perfume but I do like a nice smell in my hair after I washed it. I bought this shampoo on a whim when looking to change from my normal shampoo. I loved the lack of palm oil etc It's easy to use and produces a lot of lather easily! I use this everyday as that's just my normal hair care routine. I think it has improved it. With the liquid shampoo my hair was more difficult to work with and I swear I was losing more hair. I get more volume and my natural waves form a lot easier despite that not being the main reason I purchased it. I even gifted one to my mother, she loved it as well. My results with this remind me of my results using Davines volumizing shampoo. My hair is fine, pretty thick and straight with zero natural volume. I typically struggle to get my hair to hold any style, despite mousse and styling creams, etc. There is no way I would ever expect a shampoo to PROVIDE volume for MY hair without additional products… I am surprised by the bad reviews. I honestly love this shampoo! It is gentle, smells great, feels nice, washes out easily and doesn't strip all the moisture out of my hair like when I was using Aussie and Herbal Essence before this. I really like this conditioner! I love the bottles, they look so sleek and minimal. It doesn’t have a overwhelming smell which I like because I’m so sensitive to smells and more importantly it leaves me hair so smooth and slick and it’s super easy to brush through it even run my fingers through. My hair is colored and super beyond damaged under that color from going platinum blonde last year. I’ve tried several other products that claimed to be SLS and paraben -free and considered clean products but they left my hair dry and brittle. This however really makes my hair look and feel beautiful! When I brush my hair now, almost no hair comes out. I was so excited to have found this and then one day I read people saying it made their hair fall out and such and ever since I’ve been trying to find something wrong with it and I’m a little scared but honestly I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks daily and my hair never felt better. I was in a pinch and was completely out of my usual hair conditioner. I normally use two to three high end brands. I thought I would give this a try having seen it around for some times and reading some mixed reviews, albeit the positives were what drew me in. I am game for anything smoothing since I flat iron my hair frequently. Not to mention the inexpensive price. Boy was I wrong… I've only used this product twice and started scratching the bottom of my scalp, right by my bottom hairline and neck. I later found by scratching I had scabs. I am not a person with a sensitive scalp, skin, body etc. This truly scared me and should be taken off the shelves. I have tried a few shampoos including Glossy, Grow More and also the Burdock and Neem. I went back to the Kelp and Mint, because I like the volume it seems to add to my hair. My hair used to fall flat, and now it has some texture. I’ve noticed since switching to 100% Pure shampoo’s, my hair has started to get thicker after years of it thinning out, but the Kelp and Mint does add the volume . Prior to using this shampoo, I was using Acure, Giovanni, Avalon Organics, and other natural mainstream shampoos/conditioners you would find at your local health food store. I've tried many clean, non toxic shampoos and this is hands down my favorite. I have slightly coarse, wavy har but it's fine so I'm always looking for that extra volume. This shampoo cleans, smells incredible, and does in fact give me a little help with volume. I use it with the kelp & mint conditioner and I couldn't be happier. You do need to make sure your hair is good and wet before applying the shampoo- this will get you a good lather going. I even will double wash and on the second go, I get a very good lather and my hair feels super clean. Because my hair is fine, it can be easily weighed down. This product never weighs it down and I always feel like my hair is super clean and light after using it.

I really wanted to like this shampoo and conditioner based on the reviews. I used it one night, let my hair air dry , and the next morning I was styling and sectioned my hair, and the roots were SO. GREASY. literally thought my hair was still wet. I was picking up my hair from the root to section it and my hands would have residue on them. I thought maybe it's because I let it air dry or didn't get all the product out. So I used it again the next day, rinsed it completely out, blow-dried, and the next day, same thing!!! THIS SAVED MY HAIR. Long story kinda short. In October of last year I bleached my hair 2 times (I know I know) as a result, my hair went from smooth and shiny to dry, brittle, damaged, and stringy. After just 2 washes of using this shampoo and the conditioner my hair is finally soft again.. it is not suddenly healthy (cause girl my hair is dead) but it's soft and I can actually comb it without it being extremely tangled and it doesn't feel like straw while washing it. Purchased this product by accident and love it!!! Grabbed it off the shelf in a rush and was soooo disappointed when I got home. I have super fine straight hair and my kids have fine wavy/curly hair. Anything with oil ibnit makes me feel like a grease ball but not this!!! My hair and my children's hair has never felt healthier!
