I’ve struggled with dandruff for years and have tried EVERY product; Selsun Blue, T/Gel, head and shoulders, home remedies, you name it. Head and Shoulders was really the only thing I found that kept it somewhat at bay and I still only use the condition along with using Nizoral shampoo. This is going to sound very disgusting but at one point many years ago I had dandruff really really bad. At least I thought it was the address. I kept using every single day and your shampoo I could find and it did very little. My skin on my scalp would flake and almost healed to the point of being a lot like cradle cap that little babies have. My hair was coming out in handfuls before I started using this. I have only been using this shampoo and conditioner for about a month and I am a believer! I only lose a small (normal) amount of hair when I shower and I don't feel that it's falling out excessively during the day. The reviews are true about this leaving your hair greasy, but after a few weeks of use, my hair has adjusted and is no longer greasy. Take your time really washing your scalp and rinsing, just like your hairdresser would, and you'll be fine. I also switched to a Wet brush made for distributing oil and it has really helped make my hair shiny after using this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is creamy in texture and quite strongly scented like tea tree which I love (but may not be everyone's cup of tea!). It helps clear build-up from my scalp, as promised and doesn't strip my hair color, although I do find it slightly drying – in itself not a problem as the conditioner used straight after balances out the effect. Usually I find it difficult to find an effective shampoo to clear build-up but this one actually does it, and as a bonus I also found it helps keep my scalp clear of the psoriasis that flares up every now and again, possibly due to the Tea tree. With regards to hair fall, I can't say I noticed any difference, but it's possible I just haven't used it long enough. And I don't plan on using it for much longer either because the issue with this shampoo is that whether I use it once, twice or three times per wash, my hair is left feeling/looking greasy and very flat. I regularly use Pura D'Or ACV shampoo and conditioner. I love it. However since my hair is high-maintenance needing moisture I use a lot of conditioner. I decided to order just a bottle of conditioner alone. I tried a different type to see how alternating two different lines would benefit my hair. I know that some ingredients have different properties. The number one ingredient in the ACV conditioner is aloe vera. But the mix in this conditioner keeps my hair stronger and prevents split ends on the days when I just wet it. It effectively prevents my hair from getting thinner. I have been using this shampoo for YEARS. When i first experienced clumps of hair shed I used it and immediately it halted my hair shed by half. My roots also felt lifted. It's not a miracle but it save a lot of my hair. What really helped my hair is cutting A LOT of hair off basically into a pixie cut, and getting blood work and finding the cause. For me I had severe iron deficiency anemia and never took any supplements for it. For years I had broken thin hair, that barely reached my nose in the front, Frankenstein mullet. My doctor ordered a prescription for iron and I got other pixie cut and treating my hair gently. I followed my prescription exactly. Used this shampoo, good conditioner, a weekly mask and pinned my hair up frequently to avoid friction but I blowout my hair every week with heat protectant. One year later and all of my hair goes past my chin and no bald spots. So major and life changing my boyfriend teases me saying he blinked and my hair grew. It's not thick and long but I have a good thickness lob now. I am extremely happy. Correcting my severe anemia was the biggest help to my hair but this shampoo helped control the damage. (Also my fatigue, pica, 15 hour slumbers and my inability to run with getting winded instantly gone with my iron prescription) This shampoo helped me keep the little hair I had over the years and I still use it. I was very happy to find this shampoo on Walmart.com. My first purchase of it was from Amazon and the shampoo was very thin and watery, I was not happy with the amount I would have to use to just get a lather. This new bottle from Walmart was so much better, the product was thicker and I'm not having to use as much to attain a good lather. I have been using for a couple of months and so far I have noticed that I am not having as much hair loss and I seem to have a lot of new growth. It leaves my hair feeling light and not weighed down as some shampoo do. Overall I am happy with the product, only complaint would be the smell but that is probably because of the tea tree oil, I hate that smell. I had a sample of this shampoo, then bought the full size and now that I've used it up, I'm missing it! Other shampoos that I've used including shea moisture, taliah waajid and the mane choice just don't compare to this. This shampoo checks all the boxes, except being black-owned. I can detangle, it's moisturizing, it smells good, it has GREAT ingredients and it gets my scalp SO clean! When I use other shampoos, I still have a little bit of itching after and my scalp really starts itching mid-week. With this shampoo, even when I work out almost everyday, I don't get the incessant itch until almost the end of the week. The itching is so much less than anything else I've used. Hopefully it's made by black people so I can support black professionals that way. I'll definitely repurchase!

SO GLAD i did!! seriously like liquid gold in a bottle, it smells lovely makes my hair feels silky and moisturized! i look forward to washing my hair now, literally count the days down. i also use this lines detangling spray which i technically dont need bc of how amazingly soft the shampoo and conditioner make my hair but i feel that it definitley helps! i have type 3 curly hair. I don't have the appropriate words to describe the difference the HG shampoo and conditioner has made in my hair, and I also don't leave reviews typically. But Bondi Boost warrants it. It's that GOOD. I have thin, wavy 2b-3a hair (and a lot of it, can get heavy), dark naturally with balayage, and my scalp was always a bit on the sensitive and flaky side. A bout of sickness and personal hardships in the fall of 2021 literally made my hair start to fall out. My hair was at its weakest, and I lost hair along my part line, enough to make a wig for a doll. I dreaded showering because of the hair that was falling out. I needed something, and spent several months looking around. Bondi Boost was always on my radar but I was scared of the price ticket. Nothing worked, so I decided to try Bondi Boost HG's shampoo and conditioner, and they come into the picture in about July of 2022. Bondi Boost's ingredients really do work! I'm aware there's bad reviews, but consistent use of the products makes a difference and is key. It can take some time for hair to readjust to the natural ingredients in Bondi Boost, and can make hair appear greasy initially (it did for me). It's not Bondi Boost, it's the detox of your scalp and the mint, saw palmetto, and rosemary ingredients working. Stick with it. And the focus is on the scalp to help your hair become healthy. Bondi Boost discusses this on their website. Give it time! We're all different and our bodies go through different things. See the before and after pictures for yourself. My waves have come back, my hair feels like it has Rachel Greene swooshiness. My hair has its life restored from being DOA before. I'm getting ready to try the Curl Boss line as well, and have tried the Elixir Hair Oil, Procapil Hair Tonic, the Miracle Mark, and Intensive Spray. And nothing from Bondi Boost has missed the mark for me. I'm hoping they come out with travel sizes soon. If you're worried about the price, Bondi Boost regularly has sales and bundle deals as well. It is worth the investment in every way. Placebo effect? I doubt it. I’m not sure if Sephora just miscategorized this product, but when I received the shampoo & conditioner I honestly thought they’d sent the wrong items. There’s literally nothing on the packaging to indicate it’s a thickening or volumizing shampoo & conditioner for thinning hair, and certainly nothing to indicate it promotes hair growth & reduces hair fall. But, after double checking the website to make sure I hadn’t ordered the wrong products, I decided to give the set a try. The smell of the shampoo is definitely medicinal. It’s not super strong or anything, but it’s kinda like they used peppermint to mask a chemical smell. The conditioner is better, more of a refreshing natural tea tree & peppermint smell. The shampoo lathers up nicely so it’s easy to tell that you’re getting full coverage. I find that I have to wash twice though to get my hair feeling noticeably clean. The shampoo also leaves my hair pretty tangled & knotty. The conditioner has a nice cooling effect, and manages to detangle my hair for the most part. Hair fall? Absolutely no difference. And honestly, with trying to get all the tangles out it seems to actually make the problem worse. Hair growth? None to speak of. Volumizing? Kind of. And here’s where I *would* give this set a thumbs up – my roots are VERY oily, and my hair is usually flat within an hour of styling it. I have definitely noticed an improvement in that there’s a lot less oiliness – though the problem has not been completely eradicated. So, while there’s not really true hair volume created, the *appearance* of volume is there simply because the roots aren’t being weighed down by oil anymore. But within a few hours the appearance of volume tends to drop too. Thickening? No. And that’s even after I use the Intensive Spray.Audie13
I have low density, medium porosity, virgin 3b curl type hair. It's not course but not fine either and this works really well for me. I do have to use more pumps and work the lather more than a regular sls shampoo but if you need a deep clean go for a clarifying or sls shampoo. This is perfect for when you have to wash your hair more frequently than you want and you don't have significant product build up. I sometimes have to double cleanse with this if my hair is greasier or has a bunch of buildup and it doesn't lather well the first time, but overall I love how gentle this shampoo is on my hair. I've kept this in my rotation since August 2021 and I believe I have less hair fall and that my overall hair health is improved with it being smoother, softer and I think I'm finally getting some regrowth on my crown which was desperately needed. This isn't a miracle product but I does contain similar ingredients to the ordinary density serum along with lots of plant extracts that may help with growth. They throw the kitchen sink at hair loss and it seems to be working! If you have thinning hair but need to wash more frequently than 2-3x a week and dread seeing your hair in the drain/hair catcher then add this to your rotation and you'll likely see results. For reference I do not use the conditioner or the intensive spray. I follow up with curlsmith weightless air dry leave in cream conditioner and my hair feels soft and healthy. Within a month I looked like a magnificent Ewok. Caffeine shampoo is a wonderful product but I must be careful now as I may get recognised by Jaba the hut and taken to the desert and made to walk a plank ! I started useing Purad'or as a recommendation from a close friend. After trying Purad'or Biotin Shampoo 2x Concentrated for a couple of weeks I have been happy with the results so far. To start, it has this wonderful aroma. Not only as soon as you open the bottle but when you start applying in on your hair. It is easy to use as when you apply to your hair, it didn't dry out my hair like other shampoo's tend to in the middle of the wash. I like that you can see that it actually washes from the scalp, leaving it all nice and clean. Shampoo smells a little like tea tree oil but the smell goes away after using the conditioner. The shampoo feels a little tingly on my scalp and gives me that refreshing feeling. I purchased this shampoo along with the Jojoba mask to condition. The shampoo is watery but lathers well. A little goes a long way. It rinses clean and leaves a spearmint tingle to your scalp. I normally do not like mint scents but this was more refreshing. It did not leave my hair as moisturized as I prefer but I purchased this particular shampoo for overall hair health, strength, and to address shedding/split ends. I noticed minimal shedding. My hair looked and felt great the next day as well. I am considering purchasing the moisturizing shampoo to alternate with this shampoo. I use a bottle of this shampoo every year in the spring, and it takes just a few weeks to start seeing results. Just a bottle is good but I’ve been using it for a few years and I see a noticeable difference in my hairline and volume. They changed the packaging from metal to plastic at some point, and the shampoo itself is less liquidy now than it was before, which I like. I have recommended this to friends who told me they really like too. My hair for the last few years has started becoming more limp and thin. I've tried various shampoos and hair products that supposedly add volume, but haven't really noticed a difference. I was excited to try this Strengthening shampoo because not only did it claim to strengthen hair, but also lead to more volume. I've used it for about a week now (5 times washing my hair) and I couldn't be happier. I was pleasantly surprised as I have noticed a difference. My hair which was thinning on the top seems a little thicker and actually softer too. The shampoo is best when used with the conditioner and serum as that is what I have been using and it seems to be working. Other things I've loved about it: the scent. It's mild, but so fragrant. It's a pleasant floral smell that stays with your hair until your next wash, which I love. The texture is also ideal; not so thick that it feels goopy and not so thin that it's watery. It also lathers really well which is a definite necessity for me because I never really feel clean without the lather. Another bonus is that I can blow dry and straighten curl my hair without any issues; it actually recommends you to style as required. Overall, I highly recommend this shampoo to anyone who is looking for thicker fuller hair without breaking the bank or resorting to extreme procedures.raomeenas

I really wanted to love this conditioner. I am 39, with fine, curly 3A hair that is beginning to thin. I am transitioning to natural hair and have begun co-washing. Finding a growth stimulating conditioner that doesn’t require a shampoo is harder than you’d think! This conditioner ticked so many boxes. And it actually left my hair feeling wonderfully soft. Soft enough that I didn’t mind the slightly medicinal scent. Sadly, after only a couple of uses, my skin near the hairline, my back, and even my ears started to break out horribly. Tiny, itchy, bumpy acne so inflamed that I had to wear foundation for the first time in years and basically went into hiding. Even my ear LOBES broke out. I have always been sensitive to ingested biotin, being one of the unlucky few that gets terrible breakouts, but I thought using it topically might have a different reaction. And honestly, I’m not sure that it was even the biotin. All I know is the one con seriously outweighed all the pros I encountered. It gets two stars because I respected the ingredients, was reasonably priced, and actually did leave my hair feeling great. I sadly could not use it long enough to attest to the growth stimulation.
This shampoo and conditioner is amazing and making changes to my hair. I wash it twice, once to get the dirt etc, out then again so the shampoo can do its job also once a month i leave conditioner in for 20 mins with shower cap on for a deep treatment only been using a few weeks and hair transforming. In mature years so many changes to the hair but this product is solving a lot of problems especially thining due to less hormones. A permanent fixture in my cupboard. Expensive? yes of course!!! if you want the best you have to pay for it same as eveything in life "you only get what you pay for".
I’ve been using for only 3 weeks now, for hair loss, and am pleased with the quick results. There is less scalp showing which means less hair loss, more volume/bounce/shape, and my scalp and hair look and feel healthier and more attractive. The scent and feel is great too. One really upsetting detail – both times I’ve ordered, my bottles arrived with the caps open and product leaking everywhere. Not only messy, but expensive, because this means I never received full bottles. Please use tape to keep the caps shut so it stops opening and leaking in transit. This would be more fair to your customers who want to be loyal and continue ordering!
