I came across this shampoo at a Tj Maxx and once I read the back I knew I had to take it home with me. It seemed very promising as far as detoxing the hair from product buildup. The lather is great and the smell is as well BUT even though I used conditioner afterwards my hair was stiff and hard as a board. It not only removed the product buildup but it completely stripped my hair color. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror only to see that I no longer had any dye and my grey hair made it seem as if I hadn’t dyed my hair in months. I purchased the product to cut the buildup in my hair. I've tried other clarifying shampoos that work pretty good but this product goes above and beyond. My hair is bouncy again and surprisingly my color is MORE vibrant after using it. I use Redken "blondage" shampoo a couple times per week to keep my blonde hair from getting brassy and it works fantastic! I think bouncing between shampoos really "mucks up" my hair. After one wash I can feel a difference in my hair. We live out in the country and use county water and you can smell the metals in it as you shower. My hair for the last few years has started becoming more limp and thin. I've tried various shampoos and hair products that supposedly add volume, but haven't really noticed a difference. I was excited to try this Strengthening shampoo because not only did it claim to strengthen hair, but also lead to more volume. My hair which was thinning on the top seems a little thicker and actually softer too. The shampoo is best when used with the conditioner and serum as that is what I have been using and it seems to be working. Other things I've loved about it: the scent. It's mild, but so fragrant. It's a pleasant floral smell that stays with your hair until your next wash, which I love. The texture is also ideal; not so thick that it feels goopy and not so thin that it's watery. It also lathers really well which is a definite necessity for me because I never really feel clean without the lather. Another bonus is that I can blow dry and straighten curl my hair without any issues; it actually recommends you to style as required. I've been using this product since July 2017. I started using it because my hair was destroyed at a hair salon. I lost my hair over the entire crown of my head. My dermatologist said I had thermal burns to my scalp. I wore a wig for over a year while having it treated by another hair care professional who was successful in getting my hair to grow back, but unfortunately, she was not able to bring back all of my hair. The top and sides of my head were very, very thin. So much so, I can't wear certain styles because the hair is so thin that it's not able to cover my scalp. It reminds me of a bald man with a with a comb over (not pretty). The good news is, the rest of my hair has thickened and grown using this product, and there has been no further breakage on the top and sides. The bad news is, my hair in the damaged areas hasn't thickened to hide the baldness as of yet. I realize it's a process and will take time, so for that reason I will continue to use it (as well as the thickening shampoo and conditioner) to see if anything happens in the future. If this came in a fragrance-free version, I'd give it 5 stars. For anyone who doesn't mind a highly-fragranced formula, I'd highly recommend. As the added fragrance is very strong, and I have a sensitivity to most fragrances, I will stick to Keralyt's fragrance-free gels (at 3% and 5% salicylic acid), which I've purchased from LovelySkin as well. This whole line is incredibly effective for treating acne, psoriasis, KP (keratosis pilaris), ingrown hairs, etc.
During allergy season (year round in Texas) my scalp will break out. My dermatologist recommended that I try Keralyt shampoo. It has really helped and kept the breakouts to a minimum. I had bought a bottle at my doctors office but when it ran out, I didnt feel like driving out of town just for a bottle of shampoo. I've been using this product for 2 months now and I don't see a positive change, in fact I think my hair falls out more now compared to before I started using this!! It reduces the amount of hair that comes out immediately after a shower, but a day later I notice that more of my hair has been coming out, simply when I comb through with my fingers or when I take off my scrunchie. I've been using the Keranique system for around a year and a half. I've had significant hair regrowth, and unfortunately hair loss again due to illness/surgery, but I'm continuing to use this system. This shampoo and conditioner is very nice. I really appreciate the new container design! The first month or so this product line was amazing. The invigorating minty scent and tingly feeling on the scalp felt great. I started noticing little baby hairs popping up by my forehead. I my first reaction was yay, this is working. I used this 2x a week both shampoo and conditioner. By the end of the bottle (2ish months) I have now noticed my hair falling out in clumps worse than before I started using the products. I'm going to try the nurish line next to see if it helps any. I bought this on a whim since I love their skincare products and have been looking for fragrance-free hair care. I'm not sure if it's the shampoo or conditioner, but one (or both) of them was very unpleasant. Only used it once, but didn't love the smell and it hurt my scalp. Not just tingly like most minty shampoos/conditioners, it felt like it was burning. I immediately washed it off but the sensation didn't stop until 15-20 minutes after I got out of the shower. When I first started using this, I had to wash my hair every 3 days bc I have a chronic itchy scalp. The amount of time in between washes has been increasing, probably because of the ACV. This shampoo is extremely concentrated. I have long type 4 hair, extremely thick and dense almost to my waist. I gently put my hair in two halves, put about half a pump onto my hands, rub my hands together to emulsify the shampoo, then use that amount on my scalp. I then use half a pump to a pump max to rub on my hair. Using 1.5 pumps every wash day, I wouldn't be surprised if this jumbo value size lasts me a year or more.Mariah
One of my favorite shampoos in my rotation. I love the herbal ingredients and the rich lather it gives. It has a pretty present rosemary scent and does not smell like apple cider vinegar. I have very curly coily hair that is often dry and sometimes it can be hard to find a shampoo that gets my hair and scalp clean without stripping them and leaving them even drier. This one does a great job and is very gentle. It also leaves a bit of a tingling sensation so that is nice.

Was a bit too harsh even for my oily scalp. Dried out not only my scalp which then felt itchy throughout the day, but it also dried the ends of my hair. My hair felt/was really brittle and frizzy. I have 2A/2B wavy, medium porosity, thick shoulder length hair. I have been looking for a shampoo that both makes my hair feel clean after a hospital shift, and keeps my waves fluffy and smooth. This shampoo checks all the boxes and more. It smells clean and the smell lasts out of the shower. It does get foamy, which I like, but I do have to use a good amount for both my upper and lower layers. But for this price, I don't mind using a lot of product at once. Make sure to use your fingers to scrub this into your scalp, for the best effect. I wouldn't use this alone, as I can feel it leaves my hair tangled, after it has washed out. Definitely use this with their Leave-In Conditioner, for the best results (I use it as a regular wash-out conditioner as well). I have suffered for a long time with heat and chemical damaged hair that what fine, dry, breaking , splitting, wispy at the ends and just would not grow past my shoulders! I used HALF the amount of shampoo I would normally use to wash my hair and got TWICE the amount of lather out of it. I was surprised and extremely pleased. My hair also felt cleaner once rinsed and it didn't seem to take as long to get all of the suds out. Usually I don't think much about my shampoo but this was such a change from my usual brands that I'm still happy over it. There are no special instructions with the shampoo, just wash and rinse like normal, but it felt like less of a chore than normal. (Probably because it took me less time to both lather and rinse out the suds.)
