I am in love with Mizani’s gentle clarifying shampoo! I was surprised when I used it in the shower and saw it was grey in color. I then read it has charcoal, an ingredient that really pulls impurities out to get a deep clean. That was for sure the case here. I felt like my scalp was left so squeaky clean without feeling dry, as other shampoos tend to do when they strip moisture in the process of trying to clean your hair. However, this was so nourishing and my hair didn’t feel dried out, but still felt super light in texture and super clean. I was so thrilled with the results. In addition, it has coconut oil which leaves your hair baby soft and shiny. I am for sure a new loyal customer after this pleasant experience. I received this item for free from Influenster and Mizani in exchange for my honest review. I’ve only been able to test it out once so my review will have to be based off my first impression. For starters the amount of product you receive is very generous compared to other midrange price shampoo products. The moisture fusion moisture shampoo was a creamy, white texture and color and gave me a really nice lather. It’s scent was really one of my favorite parts, it had a faint clean scent that I’m still able to smell even after an hour after washing my hair (which my hair doesn’t hold on to scents as long). As for performance it definitely left my hair soft and smooth after application. After air drying my hair it is still very silky and soft. I deal with dandruff and this shampoo did a great job at leaving it clean while keeping my scalp moisturized. I would have to try this for a little more before being able to fully recommend this product, but so far so good.xoisabel

This has got to be my favourite line from kerastase! My hair type is very thick, over processed hair with a natural wave. I find it hard to find a shampoo which nourishes my hair and that doesn’t leave it even more dry and thirsty then it already is. This shampoo- the consistency of this is amazing , thick and creamy , hair feels instantly nourished while I’m washing it. Feels like a layer of protection is on the hair (the keratin I suspect) beautiful! Honestly, since I started using this shampoo with the conditionner, my curls came back to life. I have very thick and curly hair and this shampoo along with the conditionner really helped reduce the frizz and dryness of my hair and a little really does go a long way so you can make it last! The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price point: it's PRICEY. And I really wished that they offered bigger format for a more "economic" alternative especially for people with longer and thicker hair that obviously need to use more of the product than thinner hair. Wanted to like this BUT I don't think this product was formulated with Natural Hair in mind which is a shame because I was looking for a shampoo to use more frequently because of how much I work out. I was really interested in this shampoo because of the lack of protein in it (I have Low porosity hair) but this left my hair *not* feeling moisturized at all and my ends felt VERY DRY. I have short, thick, straight hair with medium volume, and an oily scalp. I would wash my hair in the morning with a tea tree oil shampoo, blow dry, and go on about my day…well, by the end of the day, my hair would be "piece-y," and very unattractive from my scalp oil and general oil and dirt picked up from the workday. It would be so frustrating to maintain a good look for my hair throughout the week (shampooing about every other day). After using this shampoo and pairing conditioner for a week, I am in love. I unfortunately didn't make the connection that this product was turning my hair very greasy with a lot of buildup until I've used it for 6 months. I alternate it with 2 other shampoos and narrowed it down to this one. It's so bad that I have to wash it everyday in winter, as dry shampoo wouldn't even help. The most moisturizing conditioner I’ve ever used for my 4A Hair. Didn’t have the greatest slip (I had to put in some work to detangle my hair) but I’m used to it. Also, this line has a detangling pre-poo which I didn’t know of (and didn’t use so that might’ve helped) but when I took of the conditioner, my hair was soooo defined!!!!!!! I had used this shampoo many years ago and recalled it being a nice, basic product. Really liked that it was cruelty free too! I purchased a full liter bottle in September thinking it was a sound investment. Over time I noticed that I was shedding a lot more hair than usual — my brushes were loaded with loose hairs, my shower drain was clogging, and I was finding fallen strands all over the place. I also noticed that I was getting strange pimples on my scalp that went from being benign tiny bumps to open, bleeding sores overnight. The length of my hair started to feel brittle and excessively fine. I love Paul Mitchell products and the fact they are cruelty free and don't break the bank like some other hair care brands. However, I felt compelled to share my experience with this shampoo since I didn't see other reviews that did. I used this shampoo for about 6 weeks when I realized that it was causing little pimple-like bumps all over my scalp, and I realized I was also breaking out more around my hairline on my face. On top of that, I was noticing more hair than usual in my brush every time I would brush my hair but I thought maybe it was just me overthinking. I have been using the Unite 7 Seconds leave in conditioner for a few years. Normally I purchase it at a local salon but found this deal on Groupon so I decided to give it a try. It does not smell right. In fact, it smells pretty terrible. I m not sure if it is a counterfeit product or just sat on a shelf too long but it is definitely not the same as the product I purchased in the salon. Unfortunately there are no refunds/exchanges on this product so I may just throw it away because if it s not the real deal, I m not sure what it might do to my hair. Big bummer.
I have very fine hair that is highlighted. After washing my hair with Boosta shampoo and conditioner, I spritz this on. Great results with volume and beachy waves that hold. I’ve been using this brand of shampoo for the past 4 years and I am absolutely in loveeeeee. I revieved a deluxe size in one of my previous months subscription boxes and it made my hair smell amazing. It also helped tone down the frizziness and tame my split ends and damaged hair. I got the travel size shampoo/conditioner and it's the first time I've tried this brand, though I've heard celebrities skull shill it often. Honestly, it's not bad. I can use the shampoo every day and it seems to be enough to allow my hair be combed through without any tangles. It makes me hair very soft, but my scalp feels oily within 24 hours. I'm using it in the winter as I imagine it would be a little too moisturizing in warmer weather, leading to oilier hair/scalp. The conditioner is a little too heavy for my hair. If I use it, my hair is very soft out of the shower, but flat and oily by the morning, and I have dry/oily hair type. The shampoo scent is rather unpleasant, others have described it well in their reviews. The shampoo also has SLS and parabens – all the not good stuff we're supposed to avoid. So first off I love this brand, it got introduced to me when I was at a salon. So the first collection I tried was the resistance, I love that collection it really makes a difference in my hair it makes it feel so soft and smooth and before my hair was bleach and dry and I had chunks of hair falling out. This brand really made a difference. I can’t use a lot of brands I am too sensitive and my head gets itchy and dry. I received this as a sample for my birthday gift this year with Sephora and am sad I wasted my gift on this, but also happy I didn’t purchase a full size. I use drugstore shampoo (suave and herbal essences 90% of the time) and can say they always leave my naturally frizzy and curly hair smooth and manageable afterwards. Needless to say if those low priced products can satisfy me, I had high expectations for this shampoo+conditioner. It left my hair so brittle, dry, and damaged after just one use. I could tell even brushing my hair fresh out of the shower while wet that it was tearing through knots and already felt coarse. I applied extra argan oil to my hair to dry with and it still was so dry and I saw split ends already forming which I had never seen before. I didn’t wash my hair for 7 days after using this product, hoping any natural oil would help my hair return to a natural state before and that no permanent damage had been done. It’s been 2 weeks since my first and final use of this product and I am back to herbal essences. The scent is to die for!! Seriously, after washing my hair with this and the conditioner, my hair continues to smell like this until my next wash which is like once a yea… week. My boyfriend tried it years ago, and even he likes the way it makes his hair look and feel. This is fairly expensive for me to spend on shampoo (and the conditioner). The biggest bottles are almost $100 each. But when you think about it, one of the big bottles can last me an entire year so it’s actually cheaper versus buying a $20 shampoo every 2 months or less. There really isn’t anything else like it on the market. My hair gets so soft and healthier when I use this. Split ends aren’t as noticeable, and I feel like I can wear my hair naturally more often. They have different kinds for what you want like volume or hydration or smoothing (I think). If you order directly from their website, you can join their rewards program which is pretty darn good in my opinion. Wow! Best shampoo I have ever used by far! I have spent years trying to find a shampoo that doesn’t make my hair a tangly matted mess but this cleans my scalp and give my hair slip and hydration at the same time, I have dry curly / wavy hair that gets split ends and breaks easily and I have noticed a significant different in the ends and over all appearance and feel of my hair since using this shampoo and the correlating conditioner. The shampoo has a decent lather and you don’t need much of it as a little goes a long way. The only downside is that for me this product was a lot more than what I’d usually spend on a shampoo/ conditioner but is definitely worth the investment for something that actually works for my hair for once.sophie.b
PinchME sent me samples of this MoroccanOil Hydrating Conditioner and the matching shampoo and I tried them together earlier this week. Overall, I’m a fan of MoroccanOil products and this experience only further confirmed that! This conditioner was very creamy in its consistency. I wasn’t a fan of the scent unfortunately, I couldn’t quite place it but it smelled similar to plastic somehow. Thankfully the scent didn’t linger in my hair after rinsing. This conditioner has argan oil, Vitamins A and E, and moisturizing red algae to help hydrate and condition your hair. It’s also color-safe, sulfate-free, phosphate-free, and paraben-free. I am in love with Pureology Smooth Perfection Shampoo! This is my first time trying Pureology and I had no idea what to expect. The first thing I noticed about the smooth perfection shampoo was the scent, I loved the hints of cocoa. Upon first application I decided to use a small amount and I am glad I did, a little bit goes a long way with this shampoo. I have really long hair and I only had to use a quarter size amount or less. I want to point out that I always have to use a handful of shampoo when I use my usual drugstore brand, so I was shocked by how little I had to use of the pureology. I massaged the shampoo in my hair for a good 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. My hair felt so soft and clean without feeling stripped at all. I typically have a lot of fallout when I wash my hair, but noticed less strands of hair coming out while washing. I followed up by using the pureology smooth perfection conditioner. I also use a quarter size amount or less and it was more than enough. I focused this conditioner at the ends of my hair and put whatever was leftover on my roots. I let the conditioner sit for the recommend time of 1 to 2 minutes and then proceeded to wash it out. I felt like it took no time to wash all of the conditioner out. My hair was less tangled and overall felt so much healthier than what I am used to. I used the smoothing lotion on the ends of my hair, blow dried my hair and was so amazed by the end result. The end result after I blow dried and straightened my hair was incredible. My hair was less frizzy and more straight making it so easy to straighten. I would like to add that my hair is very wavy/curly and frizzy after washing. The price for the Pureology Smooth Perfection set is a bit expensive, but honestly it is worth every penny. I got this product complimentary from Influenster and Pureology for my honest review. I really loved how this product worked for my hair. It left it so smooth and silky. It lathered really nicely and felt great when I washed it. It also rinsed out nice and easy and left my scalp feeling great. When I blew my hair dry it was like silk. Absolutely fabulous! Only negative, which I was REALLY surprised about, was the scent of this product. It was not pleasant at all to me and not something like I’ve ever smelled in a shampoo. I didn’t like it and for me that is important in a shampoo. I have other Pureology products and love their scents. it’s just this one that I couldn’t tolerate. I find that the combination of the shampoo conditioner does help smooth my long hair and does really help smooth frizz. The shampoo cleanes hair great, good lather though it can make hair feel only slightly stripped. Conditioner is a nice one that helps smooth but doesn't overdo it and cause hair to feel heavy. Both help cleanse and Condition my hair without feeling too dry or too weighed down. The heat protectant from this line is nice and I feel it helps smooth hair and help make it somewhat softer. Having coloured my hair for many years I am very conscious of the need to try and keep it in good condition and avoid colour fading so was very eager to try Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo. Nexxus is not a brand I am familiar with so was keen to see the results. As soon as I poured the shampoo into my hand I could feel the quality of this beautifully rich shampoo and the smell was absolutely divine. The shampoo lathered up easily into my hair with just a small amount of the product. It was easy to rinse out and my hair felt thick and full once it had been washed. Once my hair had been dried I could instantly see how shiny and well nourished my hair looked and felt and the colour of my hair has stayed more vibrant without any fading over the past couple of weeks. I wash my hair every day and this shampoo has kept it in perfect condition. I regularly smelt the shampoo during the day which was lovely and I have had several people complimenting me on how shiny and healthy my hair looks. I've used this product for years, but they seem to have changed the formulation. I purchased two 1L bottles sometime ago. I just ran out of the old formula and opened the new bottle, and (as many have said) it does not clean. So, I am the sort who shampoos every day or nearly every day (although since last summer I've begun substituting one of those daily shampoos with a conditioning treatment about once a week) because my hair really bothers me when it isn't clean, and I just cannot stand it when it doesn't feel clean. I also always go for the most moisturizing shampoos and conditioners I can find especially in the winter. I generally use a leave-in conditioner or detangler after shampooing (and since Burt's Bees doesn't have one of those for humans I've used Mane and Tail's detangler spray). Yesterday my hair looked AMAZING but it felt very blergh, which sort of makes sense because I've read that dirty hair actually holds a hairstyle better than clean hair. I read another review from someone who said they felt like their hair was both shampooed and conditioned with just this shampoo, and on the theory that I might have overconditioned my hair yesterday I used the spray detangler sparingly today. It still doesn't feel clean, and going back to what I just said, if my hair doesn't feel clean I'm going to be sitting there wishing I could stop what I'm doing, find a flow of clean water somewhere and shampoo my hair. Which isn't really conducive to doing social events that involve presenting myself as a functioning human being to other people. For me, my hair has to be clean first, and looking a certain way is gravy. Unfortunately, this shampoo isn't fulfilling that for me. Sorry, Burt's Bees, I really wanted to love this shampoo and I gave you two stars because my hair did look good yesterday and because I appreciate your social responsibility as I read it on the shampoo label. Update: After nearly two weeks of squelching the urge to stop where I am to find a sink and shampoo my hair (with dish soap, if that's all I can find to hand) or straight-up buzzing it all off, I am now down to about half the bottle and I have decided I can't stand this anymore and life is too short. Today I shampooed with one of my multi-use camping soaps because I just couldn't stand the thought of using this again. The rest of this bottle will be shampoo for house guests and soaking soap for my combs, brushes, and hand-washable woolens.S.
The first thing I'm excited about is that I can use this without my exzema acting up. The smell is kind of strong when you use it, but after the hair dries the scent dies down considerably. I have been using this shampoo for probably 8 years so obviously I'm a huge fan. I have very fine hair that I have to wear short because it's the only way to get the appearance that I have thicker hair. The very first time I used it I was hooked. I immediately noticed with a wet head that I could feel volume I never had before. I shampoo on a daily basis but certainly don't need to and have been advised because of color issues, (I have my hair frosted every 6 weeks) I should cut it down. My hair never feels dry or brittle at all, it just feels clean and full. For people with really fine hair I highly recommend trying it.D.

My hair is rather thin, so I bought this shampoo, as it promised thickness :). And it works! I can see and feel the volume, it is like you can feel every hair in a bunch! And this is without it being literally a 'cloud' of hair around the face – the volume is gained at the roots and it is easy to work your hair into a hairdo afterwards. The lather is rather rich, the smell is fresh, but natural (disappears quicker, than that of the 'industrial' shampoos), the quality of washing is rather high – one can skip the hairwash for a couple of days with no notice. I keep stocking up on this product as my brother has the most sensitive scalp ever. It actually goes into huge flakes and looks awful. So this shampoo treats sensitive scaps and leaves his skin and hair clean as a whistle and he himself swears by it, so I always keep one in reserve for him. Plus I have my other brother using and loving it now too and he loves it as well. Men don't know or realise the cause of their scalp issues, they come to me and I find them a solution lol. This is the first product that I do not like from DERMA-E. The scent is terrible. It reminds me of lemon pledge. When I washed my hair with this shampoo, it immediately stripped my hair of all its natural oils. The one thing that I will give this product is that my hair was left shinny after drying and styling my hair. It does not live up to the expectation of giving the hair volume in my opinion.Eliabeth

This product smells soooo good, and it does a pretty great job of hydrating my dry wavy hair. I don't really think that it is any better for my curls than a moisturizing formula is. It works best if you use the whole line from shampoo to the curl cream. It can get a little spendy to buy all the products, but it's worth it for a nice treat for yourself every now and again.erika.j
In love with my BedHead shampoo. The formula leaves my hair super silky and at the same time has worked to improve the quality of my hair. The result SHOWS!! I use it twice a week and have recently run out of the product. Going to get one for myself again. My split ends have reduced. The packaging too is friendly. Love this! use it from day to day. Recommend you to have a more damp scalp before applying and fully washing out the shampoo as it sometimes leaves your scalp feeling itchy and dry. However this definitely does moisturise my hair, strengthens it and adds volume. Love this defo worth it!lima.s

I'm going to give this a good solid review. I've been using the fragrance free shampoo and conditioner for a hot minute now. My scalp isn't irritated, I don't have bumps around my hair line which I would with other products. It works great in soft water (not sure how well it takes to extremely hard water) if you don't know the difference do a quick Google search to find out what kind of water you have because the type of water definitely can make a difference in the overall health of your scalp and hair. I'm pretty pleased and happy with these products so much so that I haven't bought any other products. I think I'm sticking to this bad boy as long as Seen doesn't change the ingredients. I'm a happy girl what can I say! Stay hydrated ladies, invest in a good shower filter and apply the right kind of products like Seen and you'll be pleased and with most things give it a good try for a few weeks and see. It took me a minute to get used to this product (I've always wanted full looking, thick hair) sadly those voluminous shampoos and conditioners do a lot of damage in the long run and weaken your hair and follicles over time………. so naturally I wanted that feel and didn't get that right away with these products but I held out because it didn't irritate my scalp or hair so I thought to myself why not just keep pushing forward. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner requested by my dermatologist for two weeks now. And because I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis and nothing seemed to help the burning and bumps I decided to try this product. I am very happy I did. The burning, itching, and bumps are much better. The bumps are not all gone but about 90% are better. I just ordered my second jar that I will keep on hand in case of a breakout. I have used many products with no avail in clearing this condition up, but honestly this is the only product that works for me. Let me start by saying I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun for shampoo and conditioner. I have lots of long curly (3a) hair and it is so difficult to find products that 1. Clean, 2. Moisturize, 3. Don’t weigh my hair down and 4. Don’t upset my skin. My skin is very sensitive and will break out in acne or flare up with eczema/dermatitis very easily. I stumbled upon SEEN in a random google searching rabbit hole and ordered the samples of shampoo and conditioner. Let me say this shampoo is PERFECT. It does everything I described above – the only downside is it is so expensive 🙁 I have family members that have my same skin issues and would never be able to afford this due to the high price. I do plan on buying the liter size and I love the rewards program, but I wish it was more affordable and thus available to more people with my same issue!Michele
