i never write reviews for anything but holy cow this quite literally saved my hair. for reference i have a mix of 2b, 2c, and 3a hair due to years of coloring and heat damage. i have quite a bit of hair and it's thick, low porosity, and protein sensitive. no matter what "hydrating" products i've used my hair has always felt dry and never absorbed anything i put in it. i got my colored red hair retouched recently and not quite sure what my stylist used to treat my hair this time around but it came out sooo dry and brittle. after some research and finding out more about my hair type i decided to try this plus the conditioner that goes with it. and wow is all i have to say. i've never had hair this soft straight out the shower and it's so easy to comb through now. curls i thought were lost forever returned. i'm also noticing less hair fallout probably from my hair not being so tangled anymore. this shampoo cleanses really well without stripping my hair and it just overall transformed the look and feel of my hair. 10/10 recommend if you have a similar hair typepia

This SheaMoisture High Porosity Moisture Replenish Shampoo is GREAT. I really like the scent and how clean my hair is after use. It is not watered down nor is it very thin, it comes out smoothly and I only need a small amount to thoroughly clean my hair. I like the way my hair feels afterwards and the very nice smell. I use SheaMoisture products and this too shall be added to my normal hair care routine and will replace my current shampoo. It lathers extremely well and rinses out even better…my hair is softer and easily styled after using the shampoo. I always buy SheaMoisture products for my girls. These products are made of high quality ingredients and safe for their hair. This particular shampoo is wonderful for hair that has brittle ends. The shea butter, jojoba and mongongo moisturize and revitalize hair. It’s also great for color treated hair! It smells wonderful so your hair will smell wonderful. This shampoo is sulfate free. I am so happy I had the opportunity of trying this high-quality treatment masque. It left my hair feeling refreshed and very healthy. I have 3c hair and after using this mask, I noticed higher defined curls as well as frizz control. I have been looking for a product that could help with my very bothersome frizz and this one definitely looks like it has made a difference. I think following up with the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner will definitely help further define my curls and tame that frizz even more! I was unsure at first whether this would work for my hair as the girl at the store told me it was for more of a textured typed hair rather mine. Regardless of the recommendation, I went ahead with testing this out. I was pleasantly surprised by it. I tried it a few times before writing this review as well. My hair is always dried out and I've tried many other masques in the past so I was open to seeing if I could find something that would work for me the first time, I tried I sparingly dipped my fingers in as I was worried it would be too heavy for my hair. When I finished, I noticed it wasn't enough product so the second time I tested it, I took a more generous portion and noticed it was much more effective. This mask provides quite the moisture. It's thick and spreads well. I could easily comb and rake it through my hair. I made the switch years ago to no longer use products with sulfates, silicones, petroleum or silicone. Those products provide short term results and end up weighing down my hair. I enjoyed the smell of this product and I find the tub to be quite large which will go a long way. I guess the reason for my 4* would be for the tub. I got this for my nephew. We both have curly hair and i use shea moisture products for my hair. it’s the best brand for curly hair in my opinion since it’s very natural and high quality. The size is a bit small comparing it to the adult products for the same price but it’s not a big problem. My nephew is 2 years old and he has short hair so i think the bottle will last for at least a couple of months. It has amazing freshening scent and it’s gentle on the scalp. Love this shampoo! I know it’s for kids, but I think it’s fantastic for adults. I don’t use conditioner after this shampoo which cuts down on wash time in half! I’ll also note that I have an oily scalp and it doesn’t leave my hair oily at all. It scent is also heavenly! I love anything from Shea moisture and the is no exception. I know that it’s for kids, but it works on my scalp fine. I wanted a gentle sulfate free cleanser that I could use regularly because co washing doesn’t work so well for me. This is perfect for that, it’s also extra nourishing and hydrating which is much needed for my hair. It smells super delicious like mango, but isn’t overpowering. My scalp is on the sensitive side and this didn’t irritate it. It was actually quite soothing. It made my hair super soft and actually helped in the detangling process afterwards. I love love this product literally because you’d literally have to buy it once and if you use it sparingly it can last you 8 months + so your really getting your money’s worth! Secondly it actually works I was very sceptical as it looks not that appealing but omg it works works!! Like I’ve had thin edges from doing pressured hairstyles but this has literally grown my edges back and now they are full full! I use this when I have braids in or any hairstyle and it help soothe them while adding a sleek look! But before you see results I waited for 2 months and my edges looked really full I used it alongside virgin hair fertiliser and it is the bomb!!!! This is my go to leave in conditioner! I keep coming back to this product. It really comes down to the lightweight formula. This does not weigh your hair down and it is reasonably priced. I’ve been using Shae Moisture for many years. I love the natural ingredients they use. This recipe is by far my favorite. I have an autoimmune disorder that causes very dry skin and scalp. This conditioner (along with the shampoo) is so soothing, and moisturizing. After just one use my hair was so soft, without being weighed down. Also controlled my frizzy ends. My scalp wasn’t irritated. The scent is WONDERFUL! It is light, and fresh. No heavy perfumes. Lately, some of the new Shae Moisture recipes have had such overwhelming fragrances that would give me headaches. I ended up returning them. I have 1A-1B hair as well as a thyroid condition (which i personally believe has attributed to my hair struggles). I've used Salon Quality products for 16 years and have only had some limited experience with silicone free hair care products, I've always had bad experiences going silicone free but this time it was nearly painless. While my hair hasn't always been dry and I've always tried to keep it healthy its been causing me greif for a year. The longer it got the drier it got even with adequate hair care and hair cuts. My scalp is oily but from midway down to the ends my hair is dry and tangles so easily, I lose most hair by trying to brush it out. The process I found for me that works is to wash my hair with the greens shampoo, condition with the greens conditioner, rinse, then use the manuka honey hair mask and leave on in the shower for a few minutes while I do my body care (really massaging both conditioner and mask into my hair strands well), rinse the mask, then use the conditioner again (massage into the strands), then rinse. It sounds like a lot for my hair type and it probably is but I've been trying to find an adequate solution for the last 2 years in terms of adequately moisturizing my hair while keeping balanced roots… its been impossible and there have been added obstacles like developing allergies. The conditioner alone or mask then conditioning isn't enough for my hair. I'm really so in love with these products and I'm so happy they're easily accessible where I live. My scalp isn't irritated any longer, im not having any random scalp break outs or redness and my hair isn't constantly so tangled that I have to just keep it in a bun to hide the rats nest until I can oil it up and brush it out and repeat the same process over with do much care and no permanent resolve. The smell is yes, like a very healthy smoothie but it also as you begin rinsing it out smells a lot like a very basic bar soap as well. I find it very interesting, somewhat nostalgic (soap smell), gives off a healthy vibe so you feel better if you are washing your hair daily and its therapeutic. I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. What a shame. I will never buy another Shea Moisture product. They used to have amazing ingredients, now they have all weird chemicals and the smells changed badly. I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. I don't believe in perfect/miraculous product, there are a lot of gimmicky products out there that target our insecurities. But Shea Moisture's daily hydration line (shampoo, conditioner, leave-in) is the best life line of products I have used in ages! I have tried Pantene, L'Oreal, Garnier, and more expensive shampoos like Redken and Function of Beauty. They didn't do anything for my hair that was dry. My Indian hair is slightly wavy and sometimes straight depending on what I use as well as the environmental factors (moisture, humidity, etc.). There were stressful changes in my life, and along with a lot of other factors my hair started to change its texture. My strands were drying up and they just didn't look the same and luscious when I styled my hair. The wave patterns sometimes would seem more crinkled. I'd say it's medium thickness. I don't seek volumizing products, because they further dry up the hair. I have short hair. I also have a bit of a sensitive scalp. And products made for scalps can also dry up the hair. I randomly picked up the travel size version of this shampoo. At first, I didn't know what to think of it. On later uses, I tried using a little more shampoo than before, I think that's the trick. Usually, other shampoos are full of lathering agents such as sulfates (I don't think it's a bad thing), but this shampoo is more gentle, so more is needed for my hair to get it clean. I usually don't like gentle shampoos, because they can tangle up my hair. But this Shea Hydration shampoo was absolutely wonderful. It genuinely brought back the lusciousness in my hair that I was missing for months! I am not always a fan of the tropical/coconuty smell, but this scent is bearable. It kind of smells like fresh coconut milk, not the stronger coconut oil smell. So it's okay. I'd prefer the scent to be reduced, but honestly it doesn't bother me as absolutely love how nourishing this product is. I must say that while the shampoo & conditioner's scent is all right, the leave-in conditioner is definitely way more scented, and it needs to be toned down. My ultimate opinion: PLEASE don't change the formula of this shampoo like every other brand has been doing. This is a gorgeous hair product, and works amazingly for ethnically diverse hair types. I absolutely love Shea Moisture Silicone Free Miracle Styler Leave In Treatment! 🙂 Made with Sugarcane, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Marshmallow Root that’s an awesome leave-in conditioning treatment It is truly a hair miracle in a bottle! The smell is also amazing! I have extremely long natural hair that gets really bad frizz especially in humidity. Every time I use this product after wash, I spray it in my hair before blow drying and my hair is absolutely flawless! I fell in love with this leave in treatment a few months ago…I bought a bottle on sale, tried it, loved it, and went back to buy the last 2 bottles on the shelf. I’ve been using it religiously since then, comb it through my hair each time I wash it, and even sometimes between washing, I’d dab a little on my frizzy roots and ends. The spray bottle doesn’t work at all so I have to open the bottle and take the product with my hand. Other than that, this product is indeed a miracle. Makes the hair so perfect after wash. I first dry my hair with a t shirt, then I change t-shirt. And after I remove the second t shirt, when my hair is 50%dry, I apply this silicone free miracle leave in, and then I finish with Sukin hair oil (because oil closes the cuticles so it keeps the leave in inside the hair), and then my hair looks perfect. Overall I liked this product. Its does what it says… it soothe my scalp and keep it moisturized but compared to other oils for the scalp products I've used, I wouldn't use this product to oil my scalp because the texture is more water based. Because of this I found myself using it every other day because if I don't, it tends to dry my scalp.. again I think its due to its water based texture. But it does a good job soothing my scalp. I think this was a really nice product, I did feel like it soothed my scalp but I did not feel like it was moisturizing enough. It’s not super expensive but for the price it is and the amount you get I feel like other products might be better. I recommend being really careful when cutting the hole in the top because I think I cut it to big and it makes me move through The bottle quicker. I had a protective style in for about a week and hadn’t been moisturizing my hair or scalp like I should have. I thought I would try this product to help. Since this product has both aloe and the tea tree oil I knew it would also help cleanse. I used the nozzle to part my hair and place the product directly on my scalp. I received this as a #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox, but this review is 100% my honest opinion. I have fine 2A/2B hair that is coloured/bleached. I really struggle to find conditioning products that are repairing and hydrating for the colour, but not too heavy for my fine hair. Most conditioners really weigh my hair down and make it oily. I didn’t have that experience with the SM manuka honey and yogurt conditioner! First off – the scent is lightweight and really nice. It smells exactly like honey, but isn’t too sweet. The formula is hydrating but not heavy. It’s a thinner consistency than a lot of other repairing conditioners, which worked really well for me. I use one pump from the nape of my neck to my ends and let it sit for a few mins before washing out with cold(ish) water. I don’t believe that long term results can be identified without using the entire bottle, but I will say that my hair has been shinier, easier to detangle after washing, and less frizz since starting to use this product. The ends of my hair are usually the driest, and they seem to be less damaged and have less obvious split ends. I would absolutely continue to use this product, and will rebuy! The only thing I didn’t love is the packaging – the pump on my bottle didn’t really work, and had a hard time getting any amount of product out. I don’t know if it was just mt bottle or a design flaw, but I ended up switching the pump with another bottles I have with a thicker tube, and have not had any problems since.RoseyB37

I don't seek volumizing products, because they further dry up the hair. I have short hair. I also have a bit of a sensitive scalp. And products made for scalps can also dry up the hair. I randomly picked up the travel size version of this shampoo. At first, I didn't know what to think of it. On later uses, I tried using a little more shampoo than before, I think that's the trick. Usually, other shampoos are full of lathering agents such as sulfates (I don't think it's a bad thing), but this shampoo is more gentle, so more is needed for my hair to get it clean. I usually don't like gentle shampoos, because they can tangle up my hair. But this Shea Hydration shampoo was absolutely wonderful. It genuinely brought back the lusciousness in my hair that I was missing for months! I am not always a fan of the tropical/coconuty smell, but this scent is bearable. It kind of smells like fresh coconut milk, not the stronger coconut oil smell. So it's okay. I'd prefer the scent to be reduced, but honestly it doesn't bother me as absolutely love how nourishing this product is. I must say that while the shampoo & conditioner's scent is all right, the leave-in conditioner is definitely way more scented, and it needs to be toned down. My ultimate opinion: PLEASE don't change the formula of this shampoo like every other brand has been doing. This is a gorgeous hair product, and works amazingly for ethnically diverse hair types. I use this daily on my curly hair. It doesn't leave my hair greasy feeling or looking like some of the other products I've used over the years, and I like the light coconut scent. As others have commented, it is a thick product and difficult to get out of the bottle, but my solution for that is to use a pump top from another product (like Mrs. Meyers hand soap) cut to the length needed for the SheaMoisture bottle. I save the screw-on top and use it toward the end of the bottle when the pump won't get out the last bit. Then I turn the bottle upside down, and when that doesn't work any more, I get a plastic knife and scrape the rest out. It's too good to leave any behind!!Barbara C.

I have received Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style milk in exchange from topbox my honest review. I have curly and very dry hair and the tangles are my challenge. This product worked awesome on my tangles and I loved the Coconut smell. It is sulfate-free, paraben-free. Also cruelty free and fair trade. Ingredient list is great. It is super thick, so thick that hard to get out of bottle. It would be even better if it had a pump on the top of the bottle. Other than that it was super amazing. My hair kept the style so long. Anybody with type 4 hair please buy this. I used this for the first time with the curl souffle and my only gripe is that I didn't try this a lot sooner. Super moisturising and lush on the hair. Gorgeous. My hair feels completely nourished and this is just on the first use. I would recommend if you are a thick type 4 you be quite generous when you use it because a fair amount works a long way if you are a tighter texture.Anna

I have fine, thin, waist length hair that is naturally blonde starting to go grey, that is prone to split ends and I would describe as normal to oily. I don't wash it daily but every 2 to 3 days it's just too much work to do daily. I used the conditioner as directed and found that my hair combed out fairly easily even while still wet which was great as it tends to tangle quite badly when I don't use a good conditioner on it. My hair was soft and shiny and manageable. The container for this feels slightly greasy when I handle it during use even after rinsing them off. The conditioner bottle uses a pump as a dispenser which is great but I couldn't get the original one that came with the bottle to function. I replaced it with one I had but I noticed that the thick conditioner dries and forms a plug that takes several pumps to force out. Overall I would say this was a good product that worked as advertised and if someone was looking to try this I would recommend it, I'm not sure if it is the best choice for me given the frequency with which I wash my hair.MargarethaM

I received this as a #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox, but this review is 100% my honest opinion. I have fine 2A/2B hair that is coloured/bleached. I really struggle to find conditioning products that are repairing and hydrating for the colour, but not too heavy for my fine hair. Most conditioners really weigh my hair down and make it oily. I didn’t have that experience with the SM manuka honey and yogurt conditioner! First off – the scent is lightweight and really nice. It smells exactly like honey, but isn’t too sweet. The formula is hydrating but not heavy. It’s a thinner consistency than a lot of other repairing conditioners, which worked really well for me. I use one pump from the nape of my neck to my ends and let it sit for a few mins before washing out with cold(ish) water. I don’t believe that long term results can be identified without using the entire bottle, but I will say that my hair has been shinier, easier to detangle after washing, and less frizz since starting to use this product. The ends of my hair are usually the driest, and they seem to be less damaged and have less obvious split ends. I would absolutely continue to use this product, and will rebuy! The only thing I didn’t love is the packaging – the pump on my bottle didn’t really work, and had a hard time getting any amount of product out. I don’t know if it was just mt bottle or a design flaw, but I ended up switching the pump with another bottles I have with a thicker tube, and have not had any problems since.RoseyB37

The scent is heavenly! Somewhere between coconuts and the beachI have used this on both my natural hair and my curly and wavy extensions. For natural hair, I use it as the Liquid in the L.O.C method and generally when I need extra hydration. It softens my hair and keeps it hydrated, it’s not oily and it doesn’t weigh it down. I also like it especially for use when I have protective styling, it’s a quick and easy way to add hydration.For my deep curly extensions, the leave in treatment helps to define the curls and reduce frizz. When I don’t have time to use a curl enhancer for defining the curls on the unit, I simply use this spray and finger comb/detangle the curls. For my wavy extensions, the spray helps me detangle, add hydration without weighing it down or leaving oily residue. I also simply love the scent, I may have abused it by spraying a LOT of this onto my units- one time I was on the tube getting off and a girl must have got a whiff of it because she said to her friend, that girl’s hair smells amazing loolI love this leave in conditioner! Okay so I’d like to start this review off saying I’m super upset. Not at this wonderful product but at myself for spending $60 on high end curl products that didn’t work. This product I honestly can’t describe how beautiful it is. I bought it on sale for like $5 in case I ever ran out of the expensive ones and the sale was over. I decided to try it out tonight but unfortunately fell asleep while my hair was drying. I didn’t expect much from a $5 product so I wasn’t too upset when I woke up but when I looked in the mirror my jaw dropped. Every single hair problem I was trying to fix was fixed in a $5 bottle!!! What the heck?! How?! My hair was shiny and bouncy and full of volume even after having it dry while I was laying down. I swear by this brand for shampoo and conditioner so I guess it was my fault for assuming their other products wouldn’t be better than the luxury ones. So so so in love with this stuff!! It leaves my hair soft, moisturized, and smelling amazing. I am currently on a curly girl journey (shout-out to kathleenlights 😂) for my type 2B hair (not using any silicones, sulfates, or heat in my hair), and saw that this product fits the instructions of the “curly girl method”. I started using this product after using the Paul Mitchell Skinny serum for YEARS, but not realizing it was what was weighing my curls down. I now spray my hair with this product, apply the Sheamoisture curl smoothie, and let it air dry, and they leave my hair looking exactly the way I want it to. I had thought that as I got older, my hair got less wavy, and it was just something that I was going to have to live with, but starting the curly girl method has saved my hair. I recently picked up this shampoo on a recent shopping trip, along with the matching conditioner. I have to say I LOVE IT! I was drawn in by the packaging since it looked like it wouldn't be too heavy for my fine, color treated hair that could always use a little moisturizing. Not to mention it says on the bottle: nourishing, color protect, anti-aging, hydrating, softening, etc. Hello!!! LOL I like the smell. I did notice a more liquid consistency when I applied it, but I had no problem getting a nice lather. My hair feels nice and clean after I use it and it looks shinier and healthier after a few days of using it. I am usually a person who rotates shampoos daily so I don't get build up, but I have to say I used this one few days in a row since it left my hair feeling so beautiful! My hair did not seem weighed down at all or greasy when using it. I like this shampoo (as well as the conditioner that goes with it) and I plan on buying it again in the future. Thin, long & dyed hair- I bought these shampoo and conditioner’s about 2 weeks ago and I have varied feelings about them. I purchased them as I had a feeling that the SLS in the products I was using were giving me dry scalp/skin rashes etc so I wanted to cut it out of my routines. These were some of the least expensive alternative options. Some reviews suggest the smell is bad which I didn’t think so at all, just smells clean in my opinion. I must admit it does often feel like I’ve left shampoo in however it doesn’t look greasy? Maybe it’s just not removing the good natural oils only excess oils and therefore is healthier? And to be fair my hair is very thin so to have a bit of stickiness to work with when styling is certainly not a bad thing. The consistency is more runny than other drugstore shampoos but I had no issues with it. The only real thing is it feels difficult to spread the shampoo around once it’s on your scalp, I would recommend lathering it up in your hands before popping it on as it makes it a bit easier. The conditioner is so-so. I like a thick conditioner that leaves my hair feeling silky but then I think that’s the result of using conditioners with silicones in for so many years. I don’t think it’s a bad conditioner at all I just end up using more of it to get the effect I want. Would like to try the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter range next.Lottie17

I have wavy hair that used to be very frizzy. I’ve been using this conditioner (& a leave in conditioner) for about a month now and my hair is a lot less frizzy with better defined waves. Weirdly, although my hair looks a lot better, it doesn’t feel very soft and it’s definitely been shinier when using a different conditioner. I’m keen to try another conditioner from this brand when I eventually get through this big bottle.Abi

I like this product because even though it’s a cream-type formula, it gives some hold to to my styles without weighing them down. It’s advertised as a heat protectant, but I like to put it in my hair before I do any heatless hair styles as well. I’m not the biggest fan of the smell, but it isn’t strong or overpowering. While my hair isn’t magically perfectly healthy again I do think this product is helping. I use heat on my hair pretty regularly so I like that it has some heat protection in it too. The smell is okay – it’s not my favorite but I really only smell it when I initially put it on and after it dries I don’t smell it as much. The scent reminds me of a baby lotion or something, not overpowering though. I will definitely keep using!Cat

This has lots of great reviews but I noticed they're almost all coming from people with fine/thin and straight or short hair, and they rave about how it's non greasy and lightweight. Well sure, if that's you, this is probably great but it says it's for all hair types and it is NOT, and usually most SM lines work for more textured hair, but not this. I have thick sorta course 2b/c super frizzy natural ginger hair (which tends to be extra coarse and frizzy). I live for the coconut hibiscus curl line but wanted to try something new so I got a travel size bottle of this. It was like scented water (and speaking of that, it's coconut scented but also has a very strong earthy monoi/gardenia scent to it-not my thing, I don't really like it but it's ok) and made my hair tangly even if it wasn't before. When it was already tangly before, this just made it worse and made it impossible to comb through without breaking apart my curls and feeling like it was causing breakage. My hair looked dull and frizzy felt super dry upon airdrying (I don't blowdry so no comment there). I tried using more to see if that was the issue, but when I used almost half of the mini bottle in one go, my hair still didn't feel soft and had no slip and the only difference was that it now dried sticky, but still frizzy and dry though. Upon looking at the ingredients more closely, I think I know the culprit! GLYCERIN is the 3rd ingredient!!! A lot of us thicker/coarsier/curlier haired ppl can't tolerate glycerin in large amounts. It's a humectant but that means it can also pull moisture out of the hair, and into the air, and that's obviously what's going on here. It does not lock moisture in at all, by nature, and needs occlusive ingredients like oils to lock the moisture in, but when the glycerin is higher on the list than any oils or butters, well, you do the math. So I'm not going to say this is a horrible product, it obviously works for some, but it is NOT for all hair types. If your hair is thick, coarse, wavy or curly, long, or especially any combination of the above, take heed. In all fairness, I've never had these watery type leave ins work for me, but I was hoping since it's shea moisture it might be different, but nah. Thick and creamy leave ins seem to just be a necessity for my hair type. I would recommend the coconut hibiscus curl and style milk instead, even though it's a styler it's way more moisturizing than this. I like to use it after applying more of my regular conditioner as a leave in after I shower. Gives me beautiful curls every time. I hate to leave a bad review but I still love shea moisture and would DEFINITELY recommend their other products and the brand as a whole!Vcurt

Right away I want to say that this is my opinion only based on the smell. I might have gotten a bad one because it smells rancid. It smells like it’s expired! I had my mom smell this leave in treatment and she agreed with me that it smelled so bad. I had to wash my hair again because I couldn’t sleep due to the smell. I cannot judge whether or not this product works since I washed it out immediately. It makes me sad but definitely returning it.Tania01

Finally! A conditioner that gets it just right! Far too often in order to tame the frizz that comes with wavy or curly hair, a conditioner leaves my hair greasy. I’ve used this quite a few times and really have some mixed feelings about it. First off, the smell is fantastic and lasts for a really long time. That being said, once my hair has dried, it is a bit crunchy and not smooth like I expected. I used the specified amount so not sure why the texture was that way, so not super excited about that part. However, once I brushed out my dried hair, the crunch went away for the most part and my hair was actually pretty smooth. My hair absorbs water like sponge, so this Raw Shea Butter Deep Moisturizing Conditioner with Sea Kelp and Argan oil is exactly what I needed. It allows my hair to hold on to more moisture much longer than it has in the past with other products. I like the earthy ingredients which made it a plus! It also smells absolutely divine.
