A lot of reviewers say it burns. It does a little but this is what made me feel like it's working. I didn't get any redness just felt a tingle. Aren't retinoids supposed to sting a little if they're strong? I can't say I pay close enough attention to see a difference. Then again, I've tried other retinoids and don't see a difference with them either, so I might just not have an eye for gradual improvement. Some other Retinoid products didn't have the slightest sting, which made me feel like they just don't have any oomph. But I could be wrong. I also got the trial size as a gift with purchase so I didn't use it for long. Because I got the trial tube, I can't speak to the complaint I've seen about that and wasted product.Bea

After exfoliating in the shower and application, the product stings my skin and it has a burning sensation that has lingered for several minutes. My face is quite red from it – probably from the Retinol and possibly from applying it ontop of my serum with hyaluronic acid (my mistake). All the previous times I've applied it, there is a slight tingling where you massage the product into the skin. Not unpleasant but on sensitive skin it may be irritating and may not be suitable to apply every day. Press down on the top to squeeze out the product – a full push down dispenses just a touch too much product for my face – but I would probably use this amount on an extra dry day. The product comes out the colour between pale yellow to pale seafoam green. There is only a slight scent – not overpowering but not fragrance-free and I quite enjoy it. Bonus: you can unscrew the lid to scoop out the product at the end of use. I know it's supposed to be a 2-in-1 serum with cream but it's consistency and the feel on my skin makes me want to either use a serum first and/or apply a moisturizer after. I've been applying a serum before and it seems to be the best route for me. It's also winter so my skin is naturally dryer than normal so I would be happy to use this product without an additional serum or moisturizer in the hot summer. It's got a thick consistency but is not greasy at all. It soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave any kind of residue. Sometimes when I use a serum and moisturizer, there's an odd reaction where it pills or balls up, like dead skin – this does not do that. I've been using it for over 1 month now and I didn't have any notable wrinkles to begin with, but I haven't gotten any new ones…so I am happy with that! Another winning product that i love from The Ordinary. This is a gorgeous blue serum and I dont know it sparks joy for me when its time to do my skincare routine. I dont know about you but I have a handful of those special products that make me excited to put on and this is definitely one. As for the price of this, it is a bit higher than most of the brands products but it is very fair for the amount and quality. Copper peptides in skincare products are always on the higher side but again I think this is more than fair. Copper peptides serve as an antioxidant, promote collagen and elastin production making this great for anyone who wants to prevent signs of aging or to just use in your anti-aging skin regimen. Copper peptides have shown that they can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and my skin loves this and I always feel plump and supple afterwards. I have been using this daily sometimes twice a day along with The Ordinary's Argireline and Matrixyl (i love my peptides). After 3 months of using these 3 serums daily I started to see a notice in my forehead wrinkles, I unfortunately didn't take any pictures to show anyone because I didn't think I'd be writing a review but I really wish I had and I promise ill get better with this for my future reviews. All in all this will continue to be a staple in my routine and i definitely recommend it/them. I've never posted a skin care review before, but I was so stunned by this that I'm doing it now in the hopes that they never, ever discontinue this product. My results with other serums, creams, and lotions have ranged from "I think I look a little better" to completely destroying my skin (prescription retinoid, which gave me huge visible pores and ruined my texture.) Prior to this I had seen some good result brightening with the Vitamin C product, but I wanted to see more because I was really unhappy with my texture and discoloration issues (age spots, sun damage, etc.) Well, after only a few weeks, my skin was completely transformed- I mean, GLOWING. I wanted to love this product, but it caused breakout issues. I had been using niacinamide and vitamin C and it was working great. I did not love the feeling of the Vitamin C product so I thought I would try the Buffet and Buffet + Copper Peptide. I quit the vitamin C product 2 weeks prior to using the Buffet to avoid irritation. A week after using these products I had noticeable breakouts. I used to struggle with acne for years before having it majorly improved. I thought maybe this is a purge stage so I kept going, but it kept getting worse. Days after stopping this routine my acne cleared up significantly. I had tried just the Buffet +copper peptides but I found that was the product that caused me to break out (the regular Buffet did not). I did not go back to my old routine as I ran out of these products, but my simply cleanse and moisturizer routine have helped. I will probably add back in the niacinamide and vitamin C. I used this for about 3 months to really try to give it a full chance but I am just sad it did not work. My skin is typically oily, but can become dry if I mess up my routine. I tend to have really nice dewy skin (I just wanted to aid in preventing signs of aging), but this product caused texture irregularities.Sarah

I bought Kate Somerville products before. I loved the product but wasted most of it because I couldn't get it out of the spray bottle. The packaging was terrible. It wasn't a fluke. I bought the same product twice and it happened both times. I tried the wrinkle cream because I liked the quality of the first product but the wrinkle cream gave mediocre results and the packaging was also terrible. Drugstore products have better packaging! It was a challenge to open the jar, especially when I was in a hurry. They used the cheapest components. Beautiful texture, my skin was nourished and plumping. I love the effect of my skin after massaging was really lovely. it did improve overall of my skin texture but the wrinkles are still there. It hasn’t done anything on my early 30’s fine lines. Altho I don’t expect skincare to actually reduce my ‘wrinkles’, I still feel a bit disappointed that it did nothing about my fine lines. I love skinceuticals and have tried a lot of their products, so when they have a kit of my faves for any money off I jump at the chance considering they don’t really offer discounts. This kit is great but I must admit that when I ordered it from this site I got totally different products than what are in the display photo. I was looking forward to another bottle of Resveratrol since I’ve been out of it for a while and I love their Vitamin C products. In this set you actually receive two bottles of the Hyaluronic serum, which is wonderful and doesn’t cause breakouts, a tub of the high moisture lipid cream, and the A.G.E. Cream I believe. I almost contacted Dermstore but then realized that despite having the wrong display photo they have the correct products listed in their description box. They should still know so they can change the photo and refrain from confusing anyone else but I kept the kit because I still enjoy the products I received.Katie

Removed a point for packageing. Nice set to buy because its cheaper to get this set than buy then individually. Comes in a nice black box. Only complaint is the packaging. Wish they spend less on packaging and no need for the box, so they could pass the savings down to customers. Also, the Resveratrol BE, if it comes with a lid like the A.G.E, when its slmost done I could open it to use every little drop of it. These products are not cheap and like to scrap every part. Wow! I've been using this set for 5 weeks now and noticed an amazing difference after 2 weeks – so much so I ordered the day time set as well. These kits save you so much money, buying the bottles separate is pricey. For example the Luna oil in this kit (same size) is $70 😱 That said… my skin is softer, smoother, my dark spots have faded a lot, my skin tone is more even. I love this kit and plan on buying it again. **it should last about 2.5-3 months in combination with the day time kit*** Some tips to help it last longer: The Good Gene's product is in a plastic type container within the glass, I removed it and was able to push out 5 more days! I was initially worried that my skin wouldn’t like it as I thought it’d be too rich for my combination skin. Plus my skin doesn’t like vitamin c and I have to be careful what ingredients the product includes. I found this was most definitely the best moisturiser I have ever used. Was gifted this product a couple of years ago and used it pretty quickly – I’m normally pretty disloyal with skincare so products last me an age due to me switching between. This was not the case with this one from Allies. Recently I invested in this product again and loving it just as much second time around. I have been a bit shy when it comes to Allies of skin as in their first releases their products did not really seem to cater to drier more mature skin types. But as the brand evolves they have broadened their line a lot. And this is a really good moisturiser on top of it containing so many good peptide ingredients. I find it very similar to for instance Kate Somervilles peptide K8 in efficacy. But in a larger tube. It’s expensive though and perhaps even a bit over priced as they so easily can offer a permanent large discount if you become a regular purchase subscriber to the brands own website, which i find a bit questionable especially if you prefer to shop your skincare wherever you want. I loved this set to try out the brand. The superfood cleanser is a new favourite and I already have bought a full sized version. It leaves your skin super clean but no stripped and smells exactly how I would like a cleanser to smell. The moisturiser is really nice and super hydrating and nice to apply. The eye cream is also amazing and feels so soft under your eyes. The vitamin C serum smells AMAZING (like ginger) and feels very brightening and glowy – I definitely also have this on my list to buy a full sized version. The oil is nice and I like to use it before gua sha. I have tried the peel yet (as my skin is very sensitive) but even without this the set was worth it to me!katy

I think the only one I won't be buying full sized is the exfoliating mask but just because I wouldn't use it much. Everything feels amazing! The eye cream was a real show stealer! Along with the dream oil which I mixed with the moisturizer for a thicker night time cover. I'll be going back for some full sized versions once I run out. I got a sample of this and a sample of the NuFace creams. They are quite different from each other, so not exactly comparing apples to apples. The Dior cream was much more intense. I felt sharp tingling to light burning sensations for a few minutes – but I will say the blemishes cleared up overnight with this product! A sample was not enough to confirm the firming/anti-aging claims. With the overnight results on blemishes, I was impressed. I ended up buying the full size NuFace instead for these reasons: much lower price mark (obviously) and far more gentle on the skin (no burning) with same blemish-clearing results. I’d like to try a couple full size bottles of the Dior since I’m really looking for firming (something NuFace didn’t live up to) but I don’t think the price mark is worth the disappointment expressed by others.corera

I would give this 5 stars if it didn't make my skin look soooo shiny/oily. It definitely makes my skin look flawless and glowing, plus minimizes fine lines. I'm 36, but noone could ever guess that, especially with my skin looking so flawless and hydrated! I've used it for over a month, and it's definitely been a staple in my skincare regimen during the harsh winter! To minimize the shininess, I use Cerave where I don't want it to shine as much. I've tried a few Vitamin C serums and this has been one of my favorites. I've used this for approximately one month and have noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my acne scars. When I started this I had two inflammatory pimples on my face which left dark scars ,despite me not picking at them at all. I usually used this in the mornings along with sunscreen, which is highly recommended. From time to time I would use it in my night routine. My scars are almost completely gone. I know this is working because prior to me ever incorporating Vit C into my routine, my acne scars took forever to fade out. I do agree with others that it has a strange smell. To me it smells like the skin of a fruit; it's pretty tolerable in my opinion and it doesn't linger. I also agree with others that the pump needs work. Site recommends 2-3 pumps but I pump it at least 5 times because it doesn't always pump out enough serum. Overall, it's a great product and I would buy it again.Eileen

Timeless 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum is soo amazing. I felt like I noticed a radiance from within in days. Even when I would have break outs I was way more confident in my skin because it still looked healthier and vibrant thanks to this product! I would 100% recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful healthy glow and the feeling of happy healthy skin. That being said, my only issue is the packaging had some leaking issues. I usually store my skincare laying down so I realized that it leaked when it was horizontal. However after that I stored it vertically and it had no issue. It also did not cause it to oxidize, but I can’t help but feel like I may have lost out on product due to leaking. I’ve seen other people complain about this issue as well, while other people have no problem, so I’m hoping they will be able to figure it out since it is only a packaging issue rather than a problem with the product itself. Let me start by saying that I have used many C and E ferulic serums. All the ones I have used had an oil base (the castor oil PEG comes to mind). Anyway that doesn’t work with my skin so I tried the really expensive version with silymarin only to find that it had Laureth-23 or 7 in it, which is a pore clogger for most of us and was very disappointing. Enter in Timeless… a brand i hadn’t heard of but once I heard about it I realized it was everywhere! People really like this stuff! So I decided to try is in the smallest size available because it is so reasonably priced and had no known pore cloggers in it. I have been using it for week and can honestly say my skin looks radiant! I am 40 with oily, acne prone skin and this stuff is so light! It absorbs immediately and has no funky smell, no oily residue, no stinging burning sensation and absolutely no irritation and the price is incredible! I had been buying the UFO oil for a few years and while I liked how it felt on my skin, I didn't notice a huge difference. My mom let me try her Good Genes one time and I loved the instant plumping effect and dewy finish. I ended up splurging on my own bottle and so far it's definitely been worth it. I have ridiculously finicky skin that breaks out if the wind blows the wrong way but I haven't had any issues with this product (or any Sunday Riley products for that matter). I've been using Good Genes for a few months now and it seems to have helped even my skin tone. I'm 22 so I bought it to just generally improve the appearance of my skin, but my mom really likes using it in combination with a retinol for wrinkles. The main thing I love is that immediate improvement you can see– the day after using it, my skin is always bouncy and glowing. I use it a few times a week, and I don't need too much to cover my face and neck, so I think the bottle will probably last me a while. Either way, I think it's worth it. It's definitely the best Sunday Riley product I've tried so far (as compared to UFO oil, Lunar oil, and CEO serum).hrbeach

The reviews are true. This is amazing stuff. It helps to keep my complexion nice, free and clear of zits. But you definitely need to do a double cleanse before applying oils and serums, and layering this on top. It has a bit of a strong smell with thick consistency, and definitely stings until you get used to it. I was unsure but it took about 10 days for me to start seeing results. This is definitely something that sensitive skin folks will have to build up to, I used to use it every other day as part of my nighttime skin care routine. Now I use it every day, morning and night. It sloughs dead skin cells off very gently, and works really well under moisturizer. My skin looks fresher, younger, and my acne seems to be more under control. When I discovered this line and this product years ago I was hooked. Good genes was exactly what the doctor ordered when it came to my skin. It was lovely and worked so well. Skin was dewy, brighter, hydrated and my skin looked better and better. Makeup set perfectly on top of it. I could tolerate it from the first smear. I showed it daily and stocked up during sales. NOT THE NEW FORMULA. I don't know what changed exactly. But first wear with this new formula and I broke out with cystic acne. Yes I know that hormones etc can cause cyclic cystic acne. But this was from the product. I even continued to use it with the same results. Then I even tried it as a mask with the clay cleanser thinking my skin somehow became too sensitive for good genes. I was using a name brand skincare line. It’s a good expensive product but doesn’t contain SPF. I was looking for another quality product that contained SPF. Came across this product while watching the Today show, the host raved about the face balm wash and their other products. I decided to purchase the balm and the Elemis SPF30 cream. I love both but am in love with the moisturizer. A little goes a long way and love that it contains the SPF. I’m 46 and fortunate to have great skin; genetics, lots of water and use great products. I received a 15ml sample size free with a magazine and I snapped it up after having my eye on this cream for years but I wasn't sure if it was worth the price! And wow! I am very fortunate to be a young looking mid-30 year old, however I have a deep set wrinkle between my eyebrows from squinting over many years! I have been using this product (just on this area for targeted treatment) for 2 weeks and the wrinkle is now barely visible and the area completely smooth! I also love the texture and the scent. My only issue is that for me it leaves a strange stinging sensation on my skin. I only notice this though when I use it on my forehead so this usually gives me a headache. I first took a sample of this with me on a trip, and spent the next six days trying to figure out why my face seemed so new and radiant every morning–this cream is impressive, particularly combined with a very gentle serum (I actually like Avene's basic hydrating serum with it–I can't explain why it's such a good combination, but trust me, it is). Pale aqua, thick, and delicately sea-scented, this cream is VERY moisturizing, so you may want to use sparingly or not as often if you tend to be oily/combination. But this is a fantastic night cream that doesn't need much with it to effectively hydrate deeply and plump out fine lines, restoring firmness with a night's sleep. If you have drier skin, this probably makes a fine day moisturizer under makeup–note that it does not include sunscreen, however, so you'll want to apply that separately. This one is also very gentle, and seems to do well for sensitive skin–my husband has used it to soothe some rough patches, windburn, and eczema before (note that this is not a prescribed indication for this product). I bought this after seeing so much about it on social media. I purchased this, along with the Oil-In-Creme infusion (as a night cream) and the DayWear 72hr hydration sorbet cream. I also received a free gift that contained the Perfectly Clean foaming cleansing wash. I was still suffering from dry, flaky skin after using retinol, though I had stopped for around 2 weeks. I've tried a few moisturizers to try and restore my skin with little improvement. The night I received my order, I used the cleaning wash, followed by the ANR Serum, then the Oil-in Creme infusion. I wasn't expecting miracles, but was looking for some improvement to my skin. WOW!! By morning, my skin felt incredibly smooth and supple, the flakes were all but gone and the redness significantly reduced. Now, my skin looks better than it ever has – smooth skin, pores less visible, fine lines less visible. The serum has a really luxurious feel to it and soaks into the skin beautifully. When I apply moisturiser over the top, I don't experience any pilling like I have with other serums, particularly ones with hyaluronic acid. I no longer need a primer and my make up applies so well and lasts all day. For work, I use a drop of this serum to sheer down my Double wear foundation and it works a treat! At night I put a little on my lips before vaseline and wake up with lovely soft lips. This really is a multitasker and I would highly recommend it!Kelly

EL night repair has more of a shaper more herbal medicine type of scent to it and it feels a little sting on my skin and sometimes I had ended with irritation and redness from the EL serum and other times I was okay. I feel when my skin is exfoliated sensitive then EL is likely to irritate I believe because of some of the ingredients in this. However I love the chamomile flower extract it's a wonderful ingredient I hope to see again in other products like the now discontinued double wear light soft matte hydra makeup had it too and was calming for redness. EL serum has a lot of claims but idk why it feels harsh on the skin for me sometimes even then it has chamomile, and also it has this type ingredient, that I find extremely weird, "Oleth-3 (comedogenic rating of 5), Oleth-5 (comedogenic rating of 3), and Oleth-3 phosphate (comedogenic rating of 2), I don't understand why these are in the EL advanced night repair serum especially with a comedogenic ingredient of rating 5 for me is a huge red flag especially that the claim in the description of the serum is "non-acnegetic won't clog pores" I'm not a cosmetic chemist but that just sounds bad when I looked up the ingredients and found this out. Overall i really like the serum but for the price EL serum needs to be truly calming on the skin and formula has room for improvement to not cause irritation. I have switched to Lancome and I am really enjoying the Lancome Advanced Genifique Face Serum. For high price The packaging is so much more beautiful than the Estee Lauder night repair serum and has the same exact texture, even better, most of all Lancome doesn't irritate my skin like EL night repair does. Lancome Genifique Face Serum has a very delicate fragrance and it's truly soothing on the skin,I mix it with my EL double wear foundation as it makes it a hydrating formula. EL is far superior in makeup and better ingredients, I buy so much more from EL. But the night repair serum shouldn't have a comedogenic ingredientJanna

I was super thrilled to finally have this complimentary deluxe miniature arrive in the mail from Estee Lauder! I previously tried and reviewed their eye serum, and remember how adorable the Robin’s egg blue box was with the gold foil accent. Inside came the miniature version of the Advanced Night Repair, Estee Lauder’s flagship serum. The serum comes in a dark amber vial with a dropper for the cap. Upon applying the product to my cleansed face, the softly amber-tinted serum adhered to my skin like magical dew drops. I personally much prefer a pump to a dropper, especially when it comes to something as runny as a serum. I was a sight to behold as I clumsily used the teeny tiny dropper to strategically dispense the serum evenly across my face – admittedly creating a bit of a mess in my sink in the process. This is a very concentrated serum, and I hadn’t realized that until I checked my skin about 15 minutes later. Even with my extremely dry skin, I managed to maintain the healthy, nourished, dewy look this product achieved. I have to subtract a star, because I did feel a bit of what I would describe as a slight greasiness after most of the product had absorbed. The plus to this, is that my skin was able to maintain it’s moisture and healthy glow. The downside is that I cannot stand touching my face and feeling any sort of “film” on top. The premise of this product is to replenish and renew your skin’s moisture barrier by night and provide powerful antioxidant protection against free radical damage induced by modern day stressors by day. While the anti-aging properties can be judged after weeks of consistent use, you will notice a visible boost to your skin’s radiance with just one dropper. The @skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore is everything that most people say it is. The rave reviews are no lie. This is one of those products that once you use it, there’s no going back. I tried this out last winter when I got tired of my face being so dry, red, flaky, and dry. I have dry, acne prone, sensitive skin with rosacea. It is hard to find products that don’t cause a reaction and also work. As a side note, this is awful for me bc I LIVE to try skin, hair, and makeup products. I digress. I had heard so many great things about this moisturizer and it’s not cheap, which I don’t mind at all if it works, but I noticed it had essential oils in it. That’s usually a no for my skin. Fragrance is most of the time okay, but not essential oils. Well, I took a chance and 3 jars later, I’m in love! � This comes in a luxe looking frosted, glass jar (so I always keep the box) and also with a plastic scoop that you can wash off and not contaminate your jar since you will be dipping into it. The consistency (I tried to show in the pic) is creamy, kind of thick, but easily spreadable. You only need a small amount. The jar will last quite a while. For me, it does tingle for a minute or 2 and goes right away. When I tell you my skin the next day was noticeably better, it’s not an exaggeration. This has the optimal amount of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids (the 2:4:2) helping with dryness and barrier repair. I’m know I’m going on here, so I’ll try to wrap it up. I used this many days through last winter and this winter, when I step up my Tretinoin dose/frequency or when I compromise my skin barrier like I just did a few days ago when I left an acid on for too long. 🤦�♀� Using a gentle cleanser, this, and a sunscreen, your skin will be repaired in a few days. I'm 50 years old with typical aging skin such as reduction in elasticity, wrinkles around eyes, larger pores and uneven skin tone. I've tried a couple of other SkinCeuticals products and didn't feel the results justified the price, so I was skeptical to try another one of their products but the reviews convinced me to give this product a try. The product is light, not heavy or greasy feeling, was quickly absorbed and has no odor. I only wear tinted sunscreen and had no issues applying after allowing this product a few minutes to absorbed. Surprisingly, within a few days of applying morning and night, my skin appeared more youthful. My pores were smaller, my skin was more even toned and firmer, and my fine lines had reduced. I have used StriVectin in the past and have always found them to be good, quality products. We spend so much time looking down at our phones and tablets resulting in ‘Tech Neck’ and I very rarely include my neck in my daily moisturising routine, usually stopping short at my chin area. Application is quick and easy using the massage roller to glide in an upward motion on the neck. The serum is a good, light, cooling consistency and absorbs well into the skin. A little goes a long way. There is no sticky, greasy or uncomfortable tight feeling left on the skin. My neck feels smoother and looks brighter. This is high-tech smoothing & tightening serum and roller for the neck & jawline is defiantly a product I need, I am at an age where I am noticing the skin around my décolletage as one of the areas starting to show my age. This serum is slightly scented but it does not last long and has a smooth texture that absorbs quickly, so is easy to use and does not make a mess. The top twists to open and close, so you can use as much or as little as you need, and I found, after a few tries, that less is defiantly more. The roller gently glides on the skin without pulling, and is a brilliant way to massage the serum fully into the neck, and doing this day and night it easy to get into a routine of keeping to the areas you need it most. Straight after use the skin defiantly looks more plump and healthy, and my skin felt a lot softer and after about 2 weeks I really do think my lines and puckering of the skin seem somewhat less noticeable, particularly just under the chin, and to touch it feels slightly firmer too. Given that I can really some slight improvement in the texture & firmness of my neck skin, I will keep using this product, however I would imagine that it will take longer to see more definitive results. But should this progress continue I absolutely purchase and use this product regularly.Andii

When you open the box up, you find extra cardboard inside, which stops the product bouncing about in the box because the box is too big for it. This may be to make it look as though the product is bugger than it is. Whatever the reason, its not excusable in this day and age, it increases the carbon footprint of the product.Now let over the other elephant in the room, the cost. At 59.07 for 50ml of product, its certainly not cheap, but then there are a lot of more expensive ones out there.As those two are now out of the way, lets see what we have. The tub is quite clever in that it has a roller at the top and, believe it or not, an onoff switch. The idea being that you can squeeze out the desired amount of cream, turn it off so no more comes out and then use the roller to apply it. This may seem a bit gimmicky, but given the cost of the product, its useful and how often have we squeezed to much out of a tube my mistake. You apply with upward strokes only and the roller works quite well. This is supposed to be used day night and before you apply neck cream.The key ingredient they highlight in the product is NIA114 technology, which is an isolated form of B3. This is what is supposed to smooth lines and condition skin, even sensitive skin. It also contains Jojoba Esters, Algae Extract, Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables and Aloe Barnadensis Leaf, amongst a whole raft of other ingredients. The product is animal cruelty free.You only need to use a small amount of this, thank god, and it does take a bit of time to sink in 10 to 15mins. After a few weeks of use, there has been some improvement in my fine lines and also tightness of my skin it doesnt look quite so saggy. The fine line improvement could be only cosmetic though, as with many creams.Im not a 100 convinced its worth the cost yet but want to finish the entire tube before deciding whether or not to add to my skincare routine.I hope you found this review photos interesting, informative and useful.Anonymous

This product is amazing, the first week I had skin irritation but now it is fine. The facial wash is wonderful, the skin creams are great and feels good on your skin. Pores are getting dramatically smaller, skin feels smooth not dry not oily, noticing wrinkles diminishing and neck getting rid of its wrinkles. I have only been using this product for close to three weeks and can't wait to see what month two will reveal. This is my go to face products. I used various other products, such as roden and fields, arbonne, mary kay, etc. , before researching and purchasing this one which I am forever thankful for finding. I work as a Surgical Trauma ICU nurse and I honestly cannot find anything that helps my skin as perfect as this anti-aging program does. This product does not recommend use on neck and décolletage. Therefore I am using it only on my face. So far it is the best retinal product I have used in years. Skincare has changed a lot and there are so many more high quality options on the market now. And La Mer is more money than I want to pay even though it has always been soothing for my sensitive skin. So in the last few years I have tried several times to switch to highly recommended, dermatologist supported less expensive alternatives for protecting and maintaining skin's moisture barrier. I have continued using high quality serums and some moisturizing essences at times. I am not able to tolerate a retinol and have had trouble with vitamin C as well. Even though my prior attempts to change my moisturizer were not successful I listened to everyone who says its foolish to spend so much for something that is just a moisturizer. So I tried again this year to change my moisturizer. Well, this winter I started struggling with redness, irritation, bumps and itchiness. I tried removing each of my skincare items to figure out if one was causing it. I tried just using gentle cleansing and moisturizer only. I switched to yet another highly recommended dermatologist approved less expensive alternative. I stopped wearing my make-up. I went for a facial which made things slightly worse. I was about to call for a dermatologist appointment because I began to wonder if it was some kind of dermatitis or maybe even a fungal infection. I remembered I had a little bit of la Mer left in an old jar. I put a little bit on the bumps on my forehead and my jaw on the right where it was really bad. Went to sleep. Woke up with smooth calmed skin, no itching for the first time in 2-3 months. Only place I still had itching and bumps was on the left side of my jaw where I had not put any cream. I think there are a lot of people including dermatologists and influencers who comment on skincare but who don't have truly dry and sensitive (like really truly VERY dry and sensitive) skin. At this point I have tried at least 8 other highly praised alternatives including everything from CeraVe to medical grade skincare bought directly from the dermatologist in the last few years. They are all I have no doubt excellent products with very good ingredient lists. But I am here to tell you that if you have really truly dry and sensitive skin look no further than la Mer. I don't like to waste products so I will use up these last two creams I tried by alternating them with La Mer in the summer months. But I'm not going to keep trying to replace La Mer. Got my hands on a small pot of Creme de la mer that was good for maybe 5 applications and decided to give it a try, after all there had to be some reason this was recommended so highly to me, right? Unfortunately, just as I expected from a product that lists 'mineral oil' so high up in the ingredients list, and a potentially irritating 'Eucalyptus Oil' on the list too, I broke out literally on day 2. The only positive was that it did slightly clear up a dry patch on my right cheek but to be fair I could have achieved that with anything on my dressing table. It sat like an oily film for hours on my face and its a testament to my patience how I didn't grab the nearest washcloth to remove it with! Gave this to my mum to try (dry/normal skin type) seeing as I still had a bit left in the pot and her feedback was merely an "it's ok, nothing special". If you have dry skin or suffer from dehydration and are NOT sensitive then by all means give it a try. From an ingredients perspective however there is nothing 'advanced' about this formulation. So the full size face cream is $360 which is nuts. But after redeeming 500 points for a la mer set from Sephora I was hooked on this juice. I wasn’t going to buy the cream, just miss it for the rest of my life and regret that I wasn’t born as Bono’s daughter until Sephora released this set that came with the full sized product for 360 plus a decent sized travel cream. I tend to save up my Sephora gift cards for one of their 20% off sales and so i was able to snag this set for 20% off and pay with gift cards so I was able to justify the purchase. The gift box luxe, heavy, and suede on the inside. I don’t know why I was expecting a plastic jar but the product comes in a beautiful heavy ceramic pot that just adds the luxurious feel. Once you actually put this on your face your exes want to get back together and you find 200$ on the ground. It smells like seaweed but in the best way possible and the texture is like clouds melts into your skin, plumping it up and getting rid of redness or irritation. It’s a miracle worker and I understand the price tag and I hate myself for feeding this addiction. There are a lot of serums out there that don’t do much of anything. This one is different. I put it on when my face is feeling in special need of care — on top of my evening retinol treatment or in the morning if my skin is feeling in need of extra gentle care. And it does the job! It works beautifully with the EltaMD AM and PM moisturizers. In fact this is a product line where the products work better in combination with other products in the line. I was hesitant to try this serum because there were a few reviews about it causing breakouts. I was struggling with a few very dry, flaky patches on my face (my chin and on the side of my nose) along with small pimples on the end of my nose. I thought it was an age/hormone thing. I thought, "if it makes my breakouts worse, at least I tried" I have been using it for over a month and I LOVE it. I use this serum along with the EltaMD light moisturizer in the morning and this serum at night with my Clinique night moisturizer and I have achieved a lovely balance with my skin! I’ve had these products for a few weeks but haven’t used them consistently yet. I got these along with an acne kit and started primarily with the other kit so as not to confuse results. So far I would deem these products as just “okay.” The exfoliant is a different color from the regular Dermalogica microfoliant but seems to do the exact same thing. So I just changed over to Dermalogica and I've bought a ton of the products and love mixing and matching them. I started with buying a bunch of the tiny sample size bottles to ensure I wasn't allergic, to make sure I liked the products, and to have travel size bottles available for refill. I have recently started buying the large size bottles because I am IN LOVE with this brand. My skin issues range from super sensitive to (almost 40) so aging and just moisture in general. I love this specifically set and the "Dynamic Skin Recovery" has become my go to daily moisturizer, I love how it makes my skin feel. I also love the Daily Superfoliant and use it maybe every other day because i have a couple routines with different Dermalogica products. The serum is nice, not too heavy but not sure I'd order again, it doesn't add anything for me. BUT we will see. I haven't had any allergic reactions or breakouts with any of the products or combos.
