A lot of reviewers say it burns. It does a little but this is what made me feel like it's working. I didn't get any redness just felt a tingle. Aren't retinoids supposed to sting a little if they're strong? I can't say I pay close enough attention to see a difference. Then again, I've tried other retinoids and don't see a difference with them either, so I might just not have an eye for gradual improvement. Some other Retinoid products didn't have the slightest sting, which made me feel like they just don't have any oomph. But I could be wrong. I also got the trial size as a gift with purchase so I didn't use it for long. Because I got the trial tube, I can't speak to the complaint I've seen about that and wasted product.Bea
After exfoliating in the shower and application, the product stings my skin and it has a burning sensation that has lingered for several minutes. My face is quite red from it – probably from the Retinol and possibly from applying it ontop of my serum with hyaluronic acid (my mistake). All the previous times I've applied it, there is a slight tingling where you massage the product into the skin. Not unpleasant but on sensitive skin it may be irritating and may not be suitable to apply every day. Press down on the top to squeeze out the product – a full push down dispenses just a touch too much product for my face – but I would probably use this amount on an extra dry day. The product comes out the colour between pale yellow to pale seafoam green. There is only a slight scent – not overpowering but not fragrance-free and I quite enjoy it. Bonus: you can unscrew the lid to scoop out the product at the end of use. I know it's supposed to be a 2-in-1 serum with cream but it's consistency and the feel on my skin makes me want to either use a serum first and/or apply a moisturizer after. I've been applying a serum before and it seems to be the best route for me. It's also winter so my skin is naturally dryer than normal so I would be happy to use this product without an additional serum or moisturizer in the hot summer. It's got a thick consistency but is not greasy at all. It soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave any kind of residue. Sometimes when I use a serum and moisturizer, there's an odd reaction where it pills or balls up, like dead skin – this does not do that. I've been using it for over 1 month now and I didn't have any notable wrinkles to begin with, but I haven't gotten any new ones…so I am happy with that! I have to say the reviews surprised me. I've been using this serum with my routine for 3 weeks now and can only say good things. My skin is very dry and dehydrated. I'm in my 40s with some old sun damage and fine lines and my goal was to help heal my pregnancy melasma and help texture and lines. I use a korean essense first, followed by this niacinamide serum, vitamin c serum, a moisturizing ceramide toner and a moisturizing sunscreen every day and use a peptide-cerimide mousurizer unstead of sunscreen at night. The only thing I changed 3 weeks ago was switching out my old hyaluronic acid serum for this product. My skin is glowing. Im noticing a slow decrease in the extra texture and "patchiness" and keep getting complimented by friends who see it too. I saw a change after my 2nd time.

I too have fallen for the Niacinamide fad that had happened on Insta and have tried my share of different Niacinamide serums. The @naturium serum is by far my favorite stand alone Niacinamide product. It checks off everything in the box, high percentage, formulated with Zinc, works well with layering. It shows a visible difference in my skin when used consistently. The other ingredients include, Propanediol, Glycerin, Zinc PCA, Vitamin E, by and Sodium Hyaluronate. Zinc is supposedly an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regulates oil. It also shows to protect and aid in wound healing and regeneration. This is why Zinc Oxide is so often found in high performing sunscreens, as it can reflect the sun and it creates a barrier between the skin and any damaging UV rays. I have tried a couple of IT Cosmetics products in the past and have continued to use one of them for over a year now with good results and without any issue. When I saw this new and improved Confidence in a Cream Anti-Aging Hydrating Moisturizer, I thought it would be nice to give it a chance as I haven’t had any problems with their skincare products yet and have been on the search for an anti-aging cream. My very sensitive skin is usually irritated by products with fragrance in them, but sometimes I can get by with something that is barely scented, which is why, combined with no previous issues with their products, I gave this a chance. However, the second I opened up the jar, I questioned if this truly was for sensitive skin and would work for me. I found it interesting that this was potently fragranced but marketed as good for sensitive skin. I started with a patch test on my neck, and my skin almost immediately started to burn (not dissimilar to a moderate sunburn). It didn’t get red, rashy, or itchy though, so I gave it a chance for a day on my face thinking it could just be due to some of the active ingredients and would fade over prolonged usage. Unfortunately, my face burned, too, and also became itchy within hours, neither of which went away until about twelve hours after washed it off my face at the end of the day. Because I only applied it twice (once at night and again in the morning), I didn’t develop any eczema, but given previous reactions, if I had used this for another day or two, I would have expected to get a nasty rash on and around my eyes. Despite all of the above, if you do not have sensitive skin, you may want to test this out. It absorbed quickly and nicely into my skin without leaving it greasy. My dry areas might have wanted a little bit more moisture, but my sometimes oily-by-the-end-of-the-day areas liked the amount of moisture it provided (at least before my fragrance-induced oil-producing reaction started). I can’t really speak to any of the long term benefits because of personal experience, but based on the claims and ingredients alone, this would be a great anti-aging cream for anyone of any age as long as you do not have sensitive or, possibly, dry skin (though you might get it to work by applying multiple layers). *Thanks to IT Cosmetics and BzzAgent for the complementary product to review!*emma.m
I received a small pot of this in a GWP, and to be honest it wasn't high up on my priority list to try out as I'm sceptical of make-up brands who foray into skincare. But I am so glad I have discovered this moisturiser now as it has been a game changer! It is the perfect base under foundation and has really helped with the staying power of my make-up throughout the day. When applied as my final step before applying liquid foundation, it leaves my skin soft and matte and almost feels like has a primer-like grip to it. Any foundation applied on top (I flit between Nars and Erborian) applies so smoothly and doesn't pile. As I said the longevity this moisturiser gives make-up is incredible! I have combination skin with the oily areas being concentrated on my forehead and nose – these areas are also prone to the occasional pimple and blackheads. After reading reviews, I hoped that Confidence in a Cream would provide all the benefits I currently need. I immediately noticed the soft creamy texture and subtle and pleasant citrus scent. It's very light and fresh which I didn't expect because I'm used to unscented moisturizers (although I prefer scented products). I applied a small amount to start off since I didn't know how my skin would react. I applied to my face, neck and decollette to start. After about a week, while I did notice my skin was glowing, I also experienced small breakouts on my cheeks, jawline and forehead. The only thing I can attribute it too is this moisturizer unfortunately. I'm a believer in that you need to give products several weeks to see an outcome so I'll keep using it and see if my skin improves. If not, then I guess I'll be on the hunt for a new moisturizer. I’ve been using this for 4 weeks as a first time user this was my intro to the brand. This is a good starting point and will allow me to navigate the rest of their range with some insight. First of all the tubes are small but they do last a month. I have combi skin. My skin seems brighter and clearer, dark under eye circles seem improved (to me). Skin feels clean and good after each use no irritation, no scent. I have had many compliments. You notice the difference quickly. I’ve used the face wash once a day at night, I wash with just water in the morning. I used the serum and face cream both morning and night. I noticed some dry patches on my cheeks and flaky skin on my nose so I’ve switched to serum at night only to see if it helps and it’s does. Hello everyone! So my fiancé and I decided to try this set since we both are getting older and have to take better care of our skin. My sister recommended the ordinary. This had 3 products and 2/3 worked well for us. The only product that was super disappointing was the cleanser…. It did NOTHING for me. I had tried the Cetaphil cleanser before and you just get more product and better quality from them. Besides that the other products worked perfectly. I will probably buy the other products in a larger amount. This is good if you want to test out the brand and see what you like and if you want to continue to continue using it. But overall it was mediocre but inexpensive so it was okayaide.s
Great set – all 3 pair well together! I love the cleanser – it's my go-to first cleanse at night. I recently got into the HA serum. When in rotation (I don't use everyday), I use it at night and wake up looking super plump! It can pill, or roll, on the skin, so I don't use it in the day (as I don't want stuff peeling off my face! or it to negatively impact my suncreen application). Love the moisturizer. I have oily, reactive skin (I'm that friend who gives you all their products that caused a reaction after one try, but work wonders for you) and this never causes redness, breakouts or anything negative. Some might need something a bit more moisturizing for the dryer months, but given the price point of this set you can't go wrong.Jae

This combo is a game changer. I’ve just turned 40 and have dry sensitive skin with blackheads. Since I’m allergic to most fragrances I only use drugstore French products which are fragrance free( not cheap) and which do moisturise my skin but don’t make much of a difference with the look and texture. I came across framboos and whipped combo and it changed my skin in a week. Framboos made my skin brighter every morning and whipped cream made it elastic and supple. I got these products a few weeks ago after reading the reviews on both individually. As minis I think you actually get a lot of product so the little Lala Whipped Creme should last quiet well. In terms of how beneficial they are, I think for the duo price they are just fine but won't be rushing to buy the full size products which is why I did want to try the minis. Lala Whipped Creme – it IS a nice texture but as dry skin gal I've tried a LOT of moisturisers and this one hasn't wowed me. It doesn't keep my skin moisturised and just doesn't do anything special. The scent is fine, a little like a medicated moisturiser which is fine as perfumed can be irritating. The whipped texture takes a little to rub in and does feel more mattifying which suprised me given the African oils in it. It's nice to have but I think I'll be going back to my Nimue Day Cream which is actually a little more $$$ but it does the job a lot better. Combo with Go-To face oil and that's a better match for my dry skin. Glycolic night serum – again it's okay but it's not given the glow I normally get from a glycolic product and I needed quite a few pumps to do my face. I think I'll go back to my Nip+Fab glycolic pads which I know are a serum/different product but I think I was getting better benefits from them. I absolutely loved this mini duo. I used them both in my nighttime routine and saw positive results in my skin. The serum is wonderful and such a light exfoliator. It helped make my skin glow after continued use. The moisturizer helped my dehydrated skin in several ways. I'd been having issues with my skin being really dry all around my eyes and it made my eyeshadow and concealer look horrible but this moisturizer took care if that. Plus they both have so many wonderful ingredients that are great for your skin. The moisturizer Is a thicker of one and A little bit goes a long way. The sample size lasted me a long time. I received this product complimentary from First Aid Beauty to review and give my honest opinions. This ultra repair cream has a rich thick balm texture. It is emollient without being greasy or heavy. It is suitable for all skin types but is designed to hydrate dry parched skin and is safe for sensitive skin. It is formulated with collodial oatmeal, shea butter, allantoin, ceramides and FAB's antioxidant booster. These ingredients work together to moisturise and soothe the skin. The tub says to apply from head to toe once or twice daily. I found that this was perfect for moisturising my body as it didn't leave my body feeling sticky like some creams do. It took some rubbing in to get rid of the white cast, but once it's worked into the skin it absorbs quickly. I did feel a bit of tingling on my skin, which I assume is from the eucalyptus oil and I can smell a slight hint of it in the cream. I was surprised to find that it also worked well for my face. It layered well on top of my serums and absorbed into my skin. My face felt nice and moisturised and this got rid of my dry patches. However, because of the slight tingling sensation, I stopped using this on my face because I have quite sensitive skin. Therefore, this has become my designated body cream.phoebe

I’m so glad I bought a tester/sample size. It has silicone in it, so it will pill- especially if you use any other products that have silicone. Even with the most simple routines, no actives and just a serum or an oil it pills. A lot. Creates this gunk on your cheeks and jawline mixing with other ingredients in your routine. I keep it pretty ‘clean’ when it comes to my products and nothing else I use makes my face sticky, pill or any of that annoying stuff. This product though? I rarely experience it not pilling or, worse, turning into sludge just after using a couple of my pricey products that I feel are almost wasted when I use this over them. Especially when you’re paying a dollar or more per ml, would rather go a superior brand with cleaner ingredients. I just bought kiehls ultra because I’ve enjoyed that in the past. I bought this because I have dry, sensitive skin. I need lots of moisture. I’ve found it’s best to rely on more than just a moisturiser for the amount of moisture I need so I incorporate face oils – especially in cooler months – like rose hip, vitamin e oils and I’ve just bought face hero so will be back with a review on that. This is a nice serum. I only use it at night time, but have noticed a difference since I started adding it to my nighttime routine. When I wake up in the morning I notice that old spots have gone down and my overall skin texture has started to smooth out. My skin just looks bright in the morning compared to dull and just blah without this in my routine. I also use this on my neck at night. My neck had two discolored lines and they’ve gone down and overall smoothed out. The texture on my neck has dramatically smoothed out and I think a lot has to do with this serum. I use the brightening toner in the morning and this serum at night. I don’t put any other stuff on my neck other than my cleanser and moisturizer so I know my results are mainly from adding niacinamide. My neck looks like more of a match to my face, and when you’re aging like me matching my neck to my face is a good thing. Before I incorporated this to my routine my neck started showing pretty decent signs of aging. It was also discolored from left over tans in the past. So it helped make things more even. I wish I’d taken before photos to compare. Always cleansed and moisturised my skin with decent quality products but in January my skin was making me look old, it was dull and I was constantly battling texture, clogged pores on nose and build up of rough surface layer that looked dreadful under makeup. Now use a range of good molecules products and my skin looks smoother, brighter and more youthful. I’m not needing to rely on harsh physical exfoliants either. Started with niacinamide and once I knew my skin tolerates it I added the gentle retinol cream. These both improved my skin, recently added the pineapple exfoliating powder and vitamin C powder which further improved my skin. Squalane oil is nice to layer on afterwards to soothe skin. Does require research/reading info to check which products you can use together though but totally worth it.CC
I'm very weary about trying out new skincare products after having dealt with hormonal and cystic acne from the ages of 16-20. By 20, I received a medical diagnosis that explained why my skin got the way it got, and with treatment for said diagnosis, my skin has been doing really well ever since. I have been left with acne scars (ice pick scars) that have smoothed out naturally over time and lots of aloe vera, but was ready to try something new. This serum works wonders on even sensitive, irritated skin. I was a bit worried as my skin condition has been all over the place for a few months now (probably mean hormones soon turning 50, face masks, super dry cold weather…the dream team at work). This serum feels a tiny bit tingly for a few seconds – not as in painful rest assured – and then is fully absorbed and your skin is ready for your moisturizer. I bought this product about a month ago and I use it at least once a day, sometimes twice. I started noticing a difference in my skin within a week! For the record, I have terrible skin. It's red, blotchy, uneven, and on top of that I would get terrible breakouts. I remember at the age of 18 years old, I purchased a bottle with my hard earned money because I heard so many great things about this product. At the time, I didn't see very much difference in my skin when using this– very gimmicky, but it was a great alternative to use as a toner when I didn't have any. SK-II, let’s talk about it. So I just got the trial size, and so far I have noticed a big difference in skin texture and the fungal acne (or little bumps that wouldn’t every go away on forehead). I think the brightening was due to a vitamin C serum (from Sephora) I started. I have combo to dry skin, which I just figured out. Honestly makes a huge difference now that I’m moisturizing way more. So anyway, that’s what I’ve noticed over a few days, but that could change. It is a very watery formula, but the product comes out in droplets so you typically aren’t wasting. I just drop a few droplets on my hand, spread out on hand, and then dab into my skin. To me, it doesn’t smell and isn’t sticky or anything. Again, to me, it feels like nothing on my face. I use it pm and am, and I’ve barely made a dent in the trial size. Is it worth 235? Not unless you makin big bank. But I’ve had no adverse effects, and I really think it’s made a difference. Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence): 5/5 My impression of the Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) is very positive. I will start by mentioning that it had quite a strong smell, reminiscent of Sake, but for some reason it doesn’t come off to me as something that would irritate people who are scent sensitive (for allergy purposes. If you’re scent sensitive for purposes such as migraine triggers, it’s still a no, but I get migraines and it didn’t happen to trigger me, for whatever that’s worth to you). This product is definitely moisturizing and softening, but I’m also quite certain that this is responsible for much of the dewiness and brightening I get from this regimen. I do not have the problem with this product bottle that I have with the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner, as even though I still apply with my hands, I only get about a drop out at a time when I invert the bottle, which is what I want to prevent waste. If I had to order all the products in this regimen from most to least favourite, this would be at the top. It’s clearly the secret sauce of this regimen and makes the biggest difference. I use the barrier with retinol almost every night and I find the results amazing. I'm not sure why it isn't a 5/5 stars? I typically layer my skin with the skin recovery toner, bha or aha and then the resist barrier. Yes, my skin feels a little dewy after application, but I do have dry skin. Once I wake up in the morning my face feels noticeably softer and a lot of my "roughness" has smoothed over. It's an amazing product, please never get rid of it! Also, another side note to the PC brand people, it would be great if you came out with a pregnancy focused skin care line as pregnant women shouldn't use retinol or BHA on their skin, and should opt for mineral sunscreens instead of the chemical sunscreens. I definitely think there is a market there!! I would most certainly buy when the time comes.SK
On paper this is a great product. The retinol and the balancing ceramides are a great team. That being said if you have ANY oiliness I find it pills on me which is an issue with PC products as a whole. Combo and oily skin beware. It doesn’t irritate my skin but the retinol is very mild – honestly didn’t do anything for my skin so really you end up paying for the moisturizing part. This moisturizer is alright, but not the best. I feel like it isn't as deeply moisturizing as other "barrier repairing" moisturizers I've used. It would probably work well for people with normal or combo skin than it works for my extremely dry skin. I'm not sure if the retinol is making any difference in my skin, it's hard to tell since it takes longer to work than other actives like AHAs and BHAs. I received this product complimentary from Gleamin in exchange for an honest review, so here it is — this is actually the first time I’ve ever used a skincare product that contains both vitamin C and niacinamide in the same formulation, and I have to say I am impressed! I have dry/sensitive skin, so I was worried it might be too strong and leave my face red/irritated after application. It did not do this at all. I can’t really speak to the long-term benefits of using this serum (i.e. efficacy at reducing the appearance of wrinkles) as I have only been using this twice/day for the past couple weeks, however in the short-term, this fragrance-free, non-sticky/non-tacky, fast-absorbing serum does impart a nice healthy-looking glow within minutes after application. Since my skin is baseline incredibly dry, I find that I need to layer this serum under a moisturizer, although I bet oily skin types may even be fine without. From looking at the product formulation/ingredients alone, I would give this a 5/5 (clinically-proven actives + free of common irritants like synthetic fragrance, artificial dyes, heavy preservatives, useless fillers, etc). All in all, I plan on continuing to use this serum until it runs out, and plan on purchasing more/incorporating this into my regular skincare routine if it proves to be effective in the long term. This is my first product from gLeamin. and I like it! This serum has a thin gel consistency and a very slight earthy natural scent (no added fragrances). I don't need to use much and it absorbs well. It immediately feels soothing on my skin and my skin feels soft and hydrated. With continued use, I am beginning to see a little glow. It works well for my oily/combo skin but I think anyone will enjoy using this. I love the hygienic pump packaging which works well. I’ve only used it tonight for the first time & I couldn’t quite believe my eyes, after about 10 mins my whole face looked slightly lighter & the melasma mask-like patches on my forehead & under my eyes less intense & brown. Lately I’ve been experiencing redness, flakiness, tightness and increased breakouts and rashes all over my face due to over exfoliation. Thankfully, this product was here to help my poor skin. So what are ceramides? Ceramides are lipids that help form the skin’s barrier and help skin retain moisture. Without the proper ratio of ceramides, the skin’s barrier can become compromised, leading to dryness, itching and irritation. There are also researches that indicate that ceramides are actually helpful anti-aging agents. This powerful, ovenight mask works to hydrate parched skin whilst ensuring skin is nourished and visibly plumper when you wake up. This product offers an amazing hydration combo, containing 3% Multi Ceramide Complex and 2.5% Multi Molecular Hyaluronic Acid. I don't use this on my face, but I've been using it on my legs after an accident that left me with multiple scars (nothing deep or raised, but confidence-knocking all the same). 3 months (as suggested) has improved the texture and discolouration of my skin to the point where you can barely tell it was ever wounded. I'm snow-pale so this is an impressive result. Be consistent and it works. Texture is silky and lightweight, too, which just feels nice to apply when you're feeling down about your skin. Only downside is the pump – it's a great value product but I still hate throwing out the bottle without being able to scoop out the last scraps of it!L

This Retinol serum from The Inkey List has been reviewed a lot but I wanted to touch on a couple of things that I've learned that may not be noticed if you don't know what to look for in the ingredients (which is completely normal as I'm talking about bio-chem level stuff). was the first (and only) product I tried from the company, under the pitch they were cruelty free and sold only vegan skin care. Some easy research proved the later not true but with regard to this serum I was happy the Squalane used is plant derived and not from the livers of our shark "friends". The packaging is minimal which is fine by me because at a lower price point I'd rather know the money is invested in what is going on my skin than what I'm seeing on my shelf. This formula has barely any fragrance, it is not very viscous and feels rather lightweight; I've read where some people treat it like a moisturizer and use a compatible serum with it for better results. I took some points away because of the ingredient labels. Without boring you with a dissertation on retinoids it is important to know that retinoids are different types of vitamin A compounds that are labeled in 4 tiers based on varying potency. The strongest would include retinol and retinoic acid and these need a prescription while examples of lower tier retinoids are bexarotine, adapalene and tazarotene (all tier 3). [At one time all retinol creams were sold only by prescription] Essentially all retinoids aim to work like the top tier retinol but they have to process through phases to metabolize (change) which means less side effects and smoother transitions for a similar desired outcome that just takes weeks instead of days. What the ingredients list on this serum is "…1% stable retinol and 0.5% granactive retinoid…" where they list the stable retinol as Retistar. The short part is Retistar is only 0.05% Retinol after final concentration so this is a mistake for a skincare company not to catch. This makes this a good serum for anti-aging whether starting in your 20's, 30's or 40's. It wouldn't be ideal for someone combating acne and oily skin issues because the strength just isn't there. I noticed some overall brighter skin appearance after around 2.5 weeks of daily use (I tried every other day twice before using daily as a precaution). It is worth trying at the price point but I hope they address the ingredients or reformulate and mentin to the targeted consumer.becky.s
To start off, I want to disclose I am giving it a 5 star rating simply because it is the first retinol serum/product that hasn’t burned my skin. I have not been using it long enough to vouch for its effectiveness, but if I can figure out how to update this review when that time comes, I will. I’ve only been using it for about a month now and am THRILLED that it hasn’t ruined my skin! I’m 28. I’m hoping to reduce/eliminate some of my fine lines around my mouth and on my forehead with this serum but also like the idea of it also being a preventative so I apply it all over my face instead of only in those problem spots. I have dry sensitive skin with mild rosacea on my cheeks so I have to be very choosy about the actives I use on my face. This retinol is unbelievably gentle compared to ones I’ve tried in the past (granted I was a total newbie to retinol at the time so I’m pretty sure I was using too high of a percentage before). I did feel a bit of tingling or “stinging” sensation the first 2-3 weeks of using it every 2 days, but my skin has since then adjusted and I don’t feel it anymore. When I first started using this serum I did have to mix it with moisturizer (I used Inkey Lists vitamin a/c moisturizer) plus I was scared of my skin reacting horribly so I was being extra careful. Not totally necessary if you have a decent tolerance with retinol but I found it was a nice way to ease into it for my skin type in particular. Not really noticing any results so far but I’m glad my skin has adjusted so well. I’m going to continue using it and hopefully see some reduction in fine lines! I never saw results with Retinol before until I tried this one! The key is definitely consistency (every 2nd night for me), applying on clean skin and following with a moisturiser. It just makes my skin look so much better. It's not just that it softens the look of fine lines, I can see how its improving my skin texture all over. My skin is so much smoother and I already know it will slow down the appearance of future fine lines. There may be some purging as your skin adjusts to it during the first few uses. I had a very small number of tiny cystic spots. But to be honest, they disappeared overnight. I was glad I knew about the possibility of purging (from other reviews here) as otherwise I would probably have picked those spots and made them worse and also I might have wrongly thought it wasn't working or that I was having a reaction. I have been using Needle-less serum for 2 years. I do love how it makes my skin feel, however I do not use it 2x a day so I have not really noticed my fine lines getting any smoother. I have researched and learned that if you use a vitamin C, you should not use this serum, as it has peptides in it. I use vitamin c in the morning so skip the Needle-less serum in the pm. This is such a perfect moisturizer. It's versatile and can br used at night or during the day, it can be layered on itself for added hydration when you need it, and it's so gentle and plays nicely with other products. I have been using this serum along side other products for almost 3 weeks now and to be honest I did find a slight change in my skin. The texture of the serum is nice not too sticky and it dries great on the skin leaving no grease cast and gorgeous from within glow. I would say that the size is quite small for the price. Another thing, I didn’t breakout from this product which is good for my acne-prone skin. Highly recommend this for dry skin as well. I've loved this product so far (having used it about 2 weeks now). You only need about 3-4 drops, so it should last a long time. It absorbs quickly without any greasiness and my skin feels much softer than on the days I don't use this product. I have used various skin care lines/products over the years, all well made and enjoyable to use. Jan Marini is a different arena in skin care. The products are strong, there is some tingling with use, however, I am seeing results. I notice a fading in hyper-pigmentation after approximately 1 month of use. My skin feels softer and more smooth. My esthetictian referred to this brand as "results driven" and I believe that is true. I'm not sure how this line would be for someone with very delicate/sensitive skin, but my skin is resilient. At 64 with some sun damage, I need a stronger product line. So far so good. I look forward (hopefully) to seeing continuing improvement.
I've used the Transformation Face Cream off and on for years (I like to rotate products) – it's a great night cream and I love the scent and the silky feeling of the cream. Also think my skin looks dewy and moisturized in the morning. I tend to apply a generous amount. The Bioclear lotion has been great for breakouts and I'm looking forward to trying the other products. I haven't used Mountain Glow for very long, but so far I like this as an evening serum that does more than just moisturizing. Even after a short period of use, my skin feels smoother to touch and overall looks healthy. I've tried other products that claim to reduce fine lines and even skin tone that have resulted in burning or itchy sensations, but have not experienced that with Mountain Glow. This has been a great alternate (or addition) to the use of Golden Hour Recovery Cream as part of my evening routine. I give Mountain Glow a 4/5 as it is too heavy for me to also use in my morning routine. This serum is a bit thicker, and even using only 1 pump does not dry fully for quite some time, making it not ideal to layer under any other product (SPF, makeup, etc). I have combination skin and live in an area with dry/hot summers; I used Mountain Glow once in the morning, and my face was noticeably shiny for hours and felt too sticky to follow with anything else. Love this for the evening, but for mornings I would recommend the Fortifying Face Balm for the SPF, or else with Brighten Up Vitamin C serum for layering under any other makeup or products for the day.Tara M.
I am telling you that I am absolutely in love with the Mountain Glow serum. My skin has never looked better. On first use, I could tell it left my skin glowing. I bought this moisturizer at Walmart today. I pumped some out, the smell was nice and went on smoothly….then I looked in the mirror. Glitter! Fine Glitter all over my face. I was not expected that, I put it on after my shower and before bed! So then I had to wash my face all over again. I don't know how I feel about having Glitter just randomly all over my face. I probably will not be using the rest of this. Which is disappointing, just having spent money on it.ATlife
Okay so I had recently gotten acne on my cheek and didn't know what to do so I got this and for me it took away the redness and moisturized my dry skin. This all happened in the span of like 2-3 weeks and for recent acne scars they are fading nicely already!! Even my dark circles seem better! Hope I get even better resultsscar8
As my skin has matured, I notice that creams and lotions aren't as hydrating as I need them to be so I tried this serum. It's light consistency is perfect to wear under my makeup without looking greasy. It keeps my skin from looking dry as the day goes on. The fragrance is light and refreshing as well. I also use it after washing my face in the evening (I use SheaMoisture Coconut Oil to cleanse my face), then add the papaya and vitamin C night cream just before bedtime. Love this product. I have acne prone skin and just started using vitamin c serum in my routine. My skin now has a very good brightness that it did not have before I added this to my routine. I also use a lot of other products by Dr. Dennis Gross which include alpha beta wash, alpha beta peel extra strength, retinol peel, retinol serum, steamer, led mask, and clinical strength peel. Also use acne sulphuric mask, pads, and gel sometimes when skin needs it. The products work together to make my skin soft and healthy. I've tried a lot of Vitamin C serums, but this one is just right! I LOVE this product. This is a high quality vitamin C serum by a dermatologist who backs his products with research. It has a lightweight viscosity that absorbs into skin quickly. However it can leave a bit of a film of stickiness, so not recommended to wear under makeup alone, as it has the potential to pill.Better suited for nighttime routine. Packaging is excellent, as the pump delivers the right amount, not too much, not too little, two pumps should be sufficient for face and décolletage. Skin is brighter. I have been on the hunt for a vitamin C serum since the beginning of COVID and after being recommended this I was initially sceptical due to the price and the amount of product you are receiving. However, after taking the plunge I'm glad to say I would never look back. The results from this Dr. Dennis serum are incredible. I have struggled with mild acne scarring, pigmentation and uneven texture for most of my adult life and only just after 3 weeks of purchasing i'm beginning to see significant results. My acne scarring and pigmentation have both improved remarkably and are starting to even out and become subtle. I've also noticed an overall increase of smoothness of my skin texture. I would usually use this of a night on a clean face before a moisturiser. It can be paired with other serums for an even better and deeper effect, however should be researched first. I would recommend 1-2 pumps as this provides enough coverage for the entire face and even the neck area. My skin is usually glowing the morning after. The serum has a subtle and calming citrus fragrance and can be easily applied with clean hands. Also great to use pre or post at-home dermal roll to promote collagen production.dt7198
