After the showers, I expected to see the same white dry skin I had been used to, BUT didn't. I would say 96% of the dryness has been addressed. The itchiness has completely disappeared. It claims to be fragrance-free, and to gently cleanse skin to relieve itchy, dry skin. According to the packaging, it is also dermatologist recommended. I have very dry skin, especially on my back. I used this body wash, and wow it felt so good. It was easy to dispense, and the texture is like a mix between a gel and a cream. When rubbed in, it becomes a lather that is easy to rinse. My skin is also pretty sensitive (I'm allergic to random things, often shampoos and soaps) and there was no irritation afterwards. Although there is no fragrance, it does smell a little bit like essential oils… But I did not react! My skin feels less dry, and I know it is definitely thoroughly cleansed. My body skin can be extra sensitive on occasion due to shaving so I prefer cleansing bars that are not harsh or irritating on my body (especially legs, underarms, bikini area). I use these unconventionally to clean my makeup sponges. These are very affordable and gentle on my sponges as well as do a Fabulous job getting them clean of any bacteria, dyes, or oils. I hold the bar in one hand and rub the sponge over and over the bar back and forth In/Out of the water stream until the water runs clear and the sponge looks clean and squeezed clear water. I even have a white sponge that will be cleaned from bronze back to white! I am 100% a body wash/shower gel person, so I thought, "Meh. I'll use it, but it won't be anything special." Although I still prefer the ease sanitariness (Is that a word?) of body wash, this soap is absolutely amazing I would buy it again! It has a light but clean, kind of sweet, pleasant scent. I have 2 skin conditions on my underarms that cause my skin to be sensitive, dark, as thin as wafer paper, often get infections. A dermatologist told me to use a gentle, antibacterial, unscented soap on that area if I can find any (hard to find). I've tried a lightly scented, antibacterial Dial shower gel an unscented feminine wash, which both do great! I decided to skip them use this soap on my underarms, along with the rest of my body, seeing as how it's made with oatmeal almonds. I always see them in my local Dollar Tree and think they smell nice, but couldn't remember why I didn't buy them again. Now I do. Heavily fragranced, over-drying, and has added dyes. Yardley London's Moisturizing Bath Bar is more hydrating than a lot of other bar soaps I have tried. It can be used for bathing and washing hands (of course), but I also use this product on my face. I am aware body/hand soaps aren't the best for facial use but I do use nourishing bar soaps in a pinch of time when I don't have time to apply my (drying) topical acne medication. That said, I still feel a good hydrator would be necessary after usage of this product. Though it isn't as drying as other bar soaps, it is still a bar soap. I like that the Yardley London Moisturizing Bath Bar feels gentle enough on skin to have multiple purposes. Yardley's has incorporated coconut oil for added softness and aroma. The gourmand oatmeal almond scent can be sweet, but the oatmeal also helps to soothe dry skin while gently exfoliating. I love the speckled appearance of this soap with the Yardley engraving. This could be used for any skin type or gender. My husband has been wanting to try it after I'm done testing it out. The sweet scent, elegant appearance and hydrating aspects are my favorite features of the Yardley London Moisturizing Bath Bar. -I get to try new bar soaps frequently for work while we travel, and I also make my own goats milk soap with essential oils and Shea butter. I have used this product to cleanse with but also to test out it's hydrating properties. Unfortunately I ran out of the Cetaphil Eczema body wash and had to buy this because the cetaphil wasn't in stock. It's too expensive to be so horrible. The wash is very runny, and I end up spilling most of the bottle's contents when using it. It also has a weird smell that reminds me of castor oil. Also, I don't even know if the product is actually on my skin when showering. There are no suds nor do I feel the product on my skin, it seems like it immediately washes away. The other CeraVe washes could be better (I haven't tried any of them) but don't waste your money on this one.RMF

I love Cerave products. I have the SA face wash, foaming face cleanser, SA body wash and the lotion. I thought this would be perfect. The first issue? It's like water. It just pours out of the bottle. It's a ten ounce bottle and I feel like I used five ounces in my shower. Too expensive for so much waste. To top it off, this "unscented" cleanser smelled so bad I gagged. I will not continue using this, nor will I purchase it again. It's the dud in an otherwise great product line.Anja

I have had extremely severe eczema for 10 years. I have thrown away 100 or more skin care products. I have always had dry skin, but when I moved to this condo three years ago and started swimming in the chlorinated pool, my skin went crazy. I went to the dermatologist and did allergy tests. I had been using Aquaphor and and Eucerin for years but the tests revealed I was allergic to Lanolin. I had been told years before that Eucerin by my doctor was the closet formula to human skin itself. Lanolin can be called by slightly different names,but in my experience it is in the vast majority of dry skin care products including soaps and lotions out there. My doctors had recommended Cetaphil products that simply did not work with my skin..I was desperate, anyone who has severe eczema knows why they call it "The itch from Hades" it is no exaggeration. I was at Walmart or Target when I ran across the CeraVe "heal and protect balm" a little stick like under arm deodorant size. My hands were so cracked I could hardly open and close them. Six or seven dollars was nothing all people who suffer from eczema know the average price for dry skin care is at least fifteen dollars. I went out to my care put the balm on my hands and felt instant relief , hope at last. I went back to the store bought the other three or four sticks they had in stock. I called CeraVe to see if they made the same formula in a larger container,I was told no ,but that CeraVe had just introduced the "Red Line Of Products" specifically targeted for people with severe eczema. It was just becoming available at Target, Walgreen's etc. I bought the CeraVe Soothing Body Wash 10 oz it was close to twenty dollars, but I was desperate. I also purchased CeraVe Eczema Creamy Oil 8 oz and CeraVe Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream. Close to Seventy Five Dollars for the three items. Having spent Six Hundred Dollars out of pocket and being told I may just have to go back to using pure Vaseline for the rest of my life as a skin lubricant it was a small price to pay. The Eczema I have can itch so bad it is impossible to explain. I got a third degree sunburn when I was Twenty Two or Three maybe that is the reason for the insane itching, but who cares,all I wanted was a solution so I could live(without itching).I have been using "The Red Line Products" for three years. When used as directed CeraVe Soothing Body Wash 10 oz CeraVe Eczema Creamy Oil 8 oz and CeraVe Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream. 12oz,have let me live again. I would not wish this itch on anyone. I still have to use misting fans and also use the CeraVe Blue Moisturizing Cream,The CeraVe Dark Blue Healing Ointment and my original purchase the Dark Blue Stick Heal & Protect Balm. I have to wear Sun Protective Clothing and half the time only go out at night when it is 100 degrees in Sunny Southern California. The CeraVe products have let me live, not perfectly but reasonably as long as I am reasonable about living with severe eczema. The first thing the dermatologist told me was to take Benadryl, a month later I am allergic to Benadryl for life. I was then told to take Zyrtec, Allertec at Costco is about 90% less expensive or any of the generics. I was prescribed "Levocetirizine " and told later it is available over the counter. I still have to take one or the other occasionally. The reason I took the time to write this review is the simple hope it will help someone else. The Skin Is The Largest Organ On Your Body. When It Is Itching Constantly it is hard to concentrate on anything else. I highly recommend CeraVe Soothing Body Wash 10 oz along with the other CreaVe products mentioned above. I am told there is no cure for Severe Eczema, so at least the CeraVe Soothing Body Wash 10 oz let me tolerate and sooth the itch after taking a shower which in my case the itch can be almost intolerablemullhull1

I started using this moisturizing bar two weeks ago and so far I’m really liking it. It has a gentle scent that is very soothing and relaxing. It’s not as heavily scented as other aveeno products. I got a facial a month ago that really damaged my skin and since then it had been really dry and sensitive to products. This is the product I’ve chosen to try to nurse my skin back to health. It has been gentle and I love that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. It was a bit pricey for a drug store product but it’s been working. I’ve noticed a bit of texture on my skin recently but I don’t know if it’s because of the moisturizer or due to the damage from the facial. However I would recommend this to others and it’s great for sensitive skin.tera.s

I have been using this soap for a little over one year. It has improved the skin on my body tremendously. It has relieved my itching; the blemishes on my back and upper arms is gone; and my skin is very soft. I have very sensitive and reactive skin and I am grateful to have found this soap. Good quality for my sensitive skin. Is durable. good size and it doesn't have fragance at all. Cero scent. if you are looking for a not fragance gentle hydrating sensitive soap I recommend. Vanicream bar soap was recommended to me by a dermatologist. It is a very good soap for people with very sensitive skin. I’ve had no issues with it. It cleans very well, has no scent but does its job. It’s great for traveling. When you use it, it doesn’t leave a film and it dries instantly after using it. Probably the best soap I've used. I have sensitive skin and wanted a natural soap for my body and of course, I was skeptical about bars of soap but I gotta say, I feel cleaner than ever. I don't have any problems with any irritation or dry skin. I feel this soap removes all the dead skin and leaves your body moisturized, healthy, and clean. Also, it smells great! The only bad thing I can say (which it isn't that big of a deal) is the tub gets a bit slippery but that can be fixed with a tub grip matAndrea1969

Tom's always has the best natural products around the State of Maine and this triple milled fresh eucalyptus with raw shea butter is no exception. The slight light easy scents flow so well never overpowering. I love how soft my skin feels after a shower or bath using this soap it is an excellent moisturizer. I use it for my hands and face several times during the day and I never feel like my skin is drying out. Its creamy lather is perfect for getting in-between your toes. I just love it!abbyroad6868
