Good bang for your buck. If you buy the economy size it’s one of the cheapest per oz. at Sephora. I use it on days when I won’t be outside a lot or getting a lot of sun exposure, usually in the fall or winter. It’s really light so even with my normal skin I feel like I need a different layer of moisturizer underneath. It has a nice, light woodsy scent though I’m trying to go fragrance free. I wish this came in at least and spf 30. I have been gravitating towards tinted mineral sunscreens because of that.StellaSky

After switching from Clinique’s “even better” SPF20 moisturizer I am thoroughly impressed, and at nearly half the price (@Ulta for $28.00 vs $50.00) Jack Black is on point. This SPF20 cream comes out white and is thin, it absorbs very quickly but you only need 1 full pump to cover the face, another 1/2 pump for neck jawline. Non greasy and non-comedogenic the natural feeling formula has a subtle sage fragrance and uses natural organic products. This product is marketed for men. However, I would recommend this double duty moisturizer to girls guys whom desire an affordable higher quality SPF moisturizer (which is SUPER important to have wear daily, the sun is a war-zone on your skin!) many moisturizers do not contain SPF be sure to get one that does if you don’t normally wear sunscreen. Product is marketed as an “advanced facial treatment” I do not see a noticeable change in skin pigmentation so this is a great product for people with sensitive skin (which I have). Texture of skin is smoother once the formula is fully absorbed. I am an avid SPF wearer throughout the year and always apply factor 50 to my face. I have tried tens, if not hundreds, of facial SPFs and this one really does stand up to many others I’ve tried. The tube is a generous size, the packaging is cute but more importantly it offers broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. I love that the packaging lists that it is water resistant up to 80 minutes, as I find instructions on these products can often not give accurate information on when to reapply. The product is vegan, hypoallergenic and has no fragrance so it doesn’t break me out like some others do. The formula has no oil and it doesn’t exacerbate my oily skin, which is a problem I often suffer with. The texture is a nice lightweight lotion and it applies easily and absorbs quickly. I am taking 2 stars off for the issue I had which was pilling mostly. The formula balled right up and essentially chunked up as I rubbed it in. I always applied to a clean and dry face and it happened each time. I tried different methods such as rubbing in, using my hand to swipe in one singular direction, applying and patting in. I tried increasing and decreasing the amount I put on at any single application and the problems always occurred. I am taking off 1 star for the lack of response from Sun Bum. It's been several weeks now since I sent a message wanting to express my concern and inquire as to whether there was maybe a bad batch or to see if there were other solutions for me. I didn't hear anything back unfortunately. I wanted to wait till I heard back to leave a review because I do believe that customer service is part of the good and bad of any product. The 2 stars I have given this product are for its lack of fragrance and irritants – this is important to me when using a sunscreen on my face and near my eyes, nostrils, and mouth. And my favorite part of this formula and why I so desperately wanted it to work was it's lightness, this consistency is one of the best and I'd be sold for life on this product if it continued to have this light and milky consistency but without the issues I experienced. I am vacationing in FL for 2 months, and I am not someone who sits under a tent on the beach and never strays into the water. I spend a lot of time in the water, and my 57 year old skin and hair need a lot of help. I now have now bought 5 of your products: Original Surf Paste, Original Sunscreen SPF 50, Sunscreen Face Lotion, Face Serum and Cooldown Lotion. Al 5 products are exceptional, and I almost never leave reviews. The sunscreen is literally a joy to spread on, and I hate sunscreen. Normally, after 1 week my skin has little bumps all over it that you can’t see but you can feel. Mineral sunscreen doesn’t do that, but yuck. I have been here almost 3 weeks and no bumps! 😁. This is great, because we might move here in a few years. And the surf paste is great. Don’t know about the SPF level, but my hair is soft and happier than it normally is with extended exposure to sun and salt water. I love the after sun face serum. Very cooling. The sunscreen has no a fragrance so its without a scent. It feels like a moisturizing moisturizer and not a sunscreen. Since it based on mineral filters it has a very soothing effect on the skin. It has a nice texture to it , just like a moisturizer. I like the product because it is very gentle on the skin and it doesn't irritate the skin at all, so therefore i recommend it to all the people who looks for a nice moisturizing sunscreen that can be used daily without any irritating ingredients in it. I've been using Healthy Defense daily moisturizer pure screen spf 50 for more than a decade and I hope that stores will have it back in stock soon. I consider this product indispensable to my daily skincare routine. I have very fair skin and appreciate the very white lotion which blends in perfectly with my skin tone. I received this sample of Jack Black Beard Lube from Sephora and gave it to my Dad to try out. I'd like to preface this review by stating that my Dad is very much set in his ways and particular about his shaving regimen. For 40 years, he's used the same shaving cream. About 12 years ago (thanks to me), he added a balm that he uses after shaving with his cream to achieve an even closer shave, when necessary – generally, whenever his blade is on its 3rd or 4th use. He shaves his entire beard and sideburns – maintains a full mustache. He shaves daily and is not prone to irritation. Big Pro: He was impressed that the Beard Lube eliminated the need to use the balm to achieve a closer shave; his blade was on its 4th use and the Lube still gave him the perfect shave. He also appreciated how well the Lube softened his coarser hairs pre-shave. Cons: (1) He said it felt greasy upon application – his face did not have the 'clean' feel that his shave cream provides. (2) The Lube left his face oily post shave, so much so that he felt the need to remove excess oils with a warm cloth. This Lube contains oils for conditioning so that makes sense – but oil on the face is not something my Dad is used to and he did not like it at all. He also felt the need to use his regular Balm to give his face the after-shave feel he likes (I guess that fresh tingly sensation scent). (3) The translucency of the Lube made it difficult to see what areas of the face had already been shaven (funny because the translucency is supposed to help you see where you are shaving to avoid mishaps – but he didn't see it that way). Overall, he very much enjoyed the result of the close shave and would purchase the travel size to use while on vacation because it eliminates the need of second shave with his balm (less to pack / carry). He also said it would be handy while on-the-go to take care of a 5 o'clock shadow if there was an event after work. He also likes that he can get longer use out of his blades without sacrificing a close shave or risking potential nics due to a dulling blade — which would save money. For daily shaving, he intends to stick with his 2-step cream balm regimen but he would highly recommend the Beard Lube to men with sensitive skin that becomes irritated from razor shaving. I'm thinking the Jack Black 'Cushioning Shave Lather' may be a better option for some like my father…tiffany michele.r

I love Jack Black products and use way to many of them! I saw someone else mention travel sizes and you responded that there is a 3oz tube. I travel almost every week for 1 to 2 nights and I am carry on only. This means that I am limited to one ziploc bag so fitting all the JB products I use, plus the rest, even in a 3oz size is simply not possible. I also try to reduce my plastic usage wherever possible, so while I kind of live off the samples (and often time orders to so I can get larger samples of things I use anyway, I hate doing that. Ideally you would have smaller, refillable containers that could be used for a variety of different products. I would actually pay good money for that. I've tried using old contact lens cases but that's not ideal because I think too much air gets in and the product degrades.Joshua

Excellent product! Great body lotion part of my daily routine. I usually lather it in after a shower. The lotion absorbs to the skin fast and ideal for moisturizing my skin. It does a better job than others probably because of the ingredients with eucalyptus and aloe. The lotion leaves my skin feeling soft smooth and nourishing sensation. It's a hydrating and moisturising bb cream for my dry/sensitive/acne prone skin. It doesn't feel heavy, as the texture is light. I've been wearing it for no-makeup days. The scent/fragrance is light so will go away once its on the skin. It brightens up my skintone to an extent which I have dark spots from my blemishes. I am a 52 year old woman that has always used Neutrogena and never used Aveeno products in the past. Well it was time to buy more moisturizer and I decided to go with the Positively Radiant Daily Face Moisturizer. I figured Jennifer Aniston promotes it and she looks good, so I decided I will give it a try. Here is a little background of myself. I am a Registered Nurse and must wear a surgical or a N-95 mask for 13 hours a day while at work. I never wear any type of make-up, only apply moisturizer daily. After using the Aveeno moisturizer for approximately 2 weeks I was asked by a coworker if I have had Botox recently. I was taken surprised by his comment but told him I recently changed to Aveeno. Then just one week later another co-worker said to me what I have been doing to my skin? She stated “your face looks radiant and you have no wrinkles and you are shining”. I was again taken back, because as I have stated I wear no make-up, nothing… just the moisturizer. I told both of them I was using Aveeno and trying to look like Jen!!! I originally tried this out after having a reaction to the cult favorite UV Clear–I think my skin disagrees with the niacinimide in that formulation. Anyway, I was happy with the quality of EltaMD, but looking for something more moisturizing for my combination/dry skin and I found it in UV Facial. This is an incredibly moisturizing and rich formula that does not leave a white cast on my pale skin. It will leave an ever so slight shine on your face, which translates to a glow on my skin, so if you are oily or prefer a completely matte look then this product probably isn't for you. I find it wears lovely under my foundation–something that can be a challenge with sunscreens. I love this formula so much but had to knock a star off because of the use of chemical filters. If this sunscreen was purely physical it would be a 5/5 holy grail formulation. I keep testing out all-mineral sunscreens and always come back to this one. I use this as my daily sunscreen! Honestly I haven’t had a lot of luck with many sunscreens because of white-cast, oiliness, etc, but this one has been the best formula of the ones I’ve tried in the past. It’s a lightweight formula but you can definitely feel it on your face for the first 20 minutes after applying. It definitely protects your skin and it feels like a clean product, and not too heavy. It has a slight white-cast that goes away after a minute of rubbing in. My only downsides are that it leaves an oily/glossy finish (which I personally dislike) and that it pills with other products. The gloss isn’t terrible, you can certainly cover it up with some powder, but not too bad alone. It definitely can pill so I have opted out from using it with makeup or serums. I keep my morning skincare routine very minimal (just wash and moisturize) so that this sunscreen will not pill. I’ve had it pill before with the cerave vitamin c serum. I have literally tried over 20 sunscreens. Finding one that checks all the boxes ingredient wise and that had a nice finish is nearly impossible. Actually, this is the only sunscreen that has met all my criteria. It also makes my skin look and feel amazing. I have acne prone skin, I’m combo oily, I don’t like feeling anything on my face, and I enjoy makeup. I’m also on a retinoid. I have been using this sunscreen for over a year, and continue to come back to it when I go exploring to see if there’s something better. So far, there isn’t! The finish is natural. It’s not too shiny and not too matte. It literally just makes my skin look healthy and moisturized but not oily at all. There is absolutely no white cast. It does not pill under any makeup I’ve tried. It layers up beautifully. I’ve reapplied 3 times in a day and it manages to stay silky and not cakey on my skin. It does have a very mild, pleasant scent- which is great because I hate fragrances in products or ones that smell naturally of battery acid. It does not sting around my eyes AT ALL. It also has the added benefits of improving my skin texture and look of my complexion. Though it doesn’t add coverage, per say, I can go without my powder foundation when wearing this. Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant 24-H Moisture Creme was provided complimentary via Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have combination skin. Some days oily patches other days dry or in between. So I use the Clinique 3 step system with the daily moisturizer. I replaced my daily moisturizer with this creme and continued following my normal wash in am and pm for a few days and found that the Estée Lauder daywear creme is definitely a light and hydrating creme good for normal, dry, or combination skin. It was not irritating and once applied my skin felt so soft, lasting a couple hours before needing to reapply. I immediately noticed the cucumber fragrance which was calming and relaxing. The creams texture was very creamy and smooth. I am also very happy about the spf 15, that is a must in a daily moisturizer for me. It left no greasy residue and was perfect under my makeup. As for the claims that it will help prevent and reduce signs of aging, I will continue use to see if it works in that regard. I can see it helping to prevent fine lines because it definitely works to keep my skin hydrated and protected from the sun. I would have liked a little more info on the packaging as to weather it is oil free but that is only critique I have for this item. I received this as a complimentary product in exchange for my honest opinion. I am religious about SPF and wear a moisturizer or primer with it every day. I started using this instead of my daily Murad Invisiblur. Let me start out by saying that if you do not like fragrance— this product is not for you. But I found the scent to be refreshing. It has a thick feel out of the jar and a little goes a long way. As thick as it felt coming out of the jar, I was concerned it would feel heavy on the skin or leave me greasy— but I was wrong. It had a lightweight beautiful feel and my liquid makeup looked flawless over it (see screenshot). Day 1 I noticed my skin was softer and that there were less flakies in my makeup (usually around my nose). I did touch my face more often to dee my softness in joy. The only reason I can’t give this a 5 star review is because as a 37 year old, I’m committed to sunscreen and I prefer a SPF30. I will start my review by saying that I have combination skin, without obvious rashes. I have been using this cream for about a month paired with Estee Lauder Cooling Anti-Oxidant Moisture Creme and I am just happy! I really love it when a manufacturer pays attention to packaging, does not save on it, and I can say that it is pleasant to take a jar in your hands, it is glass, heavy and beautifully designed. The texture of the cream is very light, has a pleasant fresh smell reminiscent of cucumber, a greenish tint. The skin from it shines literally for the first couple of minutes, then it feels very comfortable. My skin just "eats" it after application. I noticed that if the cream suits me, then the skin absorbs it instantly, so I always try to pay attention to it. After the cream, it is moisturized, nourished, velvety and yes, it smoothes mimic wrinkles a little. To be honest, I don’t really believe in miracles that the cream is able to rejuvenate like a plastic surgeon’s knife)) and so, in the early stages of appearance. So, I am glad that there is SPF 15, for me this is a big plus and I try not to even look at the cream without protection. 4.5/5 stars. I love this stuff. It puts life back into my dull skin. My skin is pale but not ghostly pale like some girls and I used the lightest shade so for my ghost girls this will not work for you. I do have oily skin which I will say it last all day for me very well but by the end of the end my nose especially is a good bit shiny but that's after a whole day w/o powder. I have a dark mark from a zit that hasn't fully healed yet and it helped fade it but no cover it up but it does give my skin a even tone. I love that it feels light on my skin and not like a foundation. I always apply skin tints with my fingers which it apples well that way. I hate wearing foundations now and only reach for skin tints. My skin is by no means perfect. I get zits and I have scars from past pimples but this stuff still allows my skin to look better. I love that it has such a high spf too. I always used the morphe tinted moisturizer but I think this Nars one beats it out. The price is a bit much but w/ a coupon and how much product you get and the quality of it I think it's worth it. Despite some critiques from other people with fair, dry, sensitive skin, I found this product to be an absolute hit. I've never been a fan of foundation (I have dry, acne prone skin so it just never really worked out for me) so the second I found out about tinted spf moisturizers, I ventured to Ulta. A very helpful associate pointed me in the direction of NARS, a product line that she, herself was wearing at the time. I could barely even tell she had anything on her face! I wore this product for the first time today. I thought it held up very well, the coverage was great for a moisturizer, a patch of acne I was struggling to clear up was actually flat by the end of the day! I wasn't sure how I felt about spending almost $50 on a moisturizer but I was desperate and low and behold, found exactly what I was looking for. Another great thing about this tinted moisturizer is the variety of colors/skin tones. I was able to find a color that perfectly blended in with my skin, despite the fact that I'm very pale. Been searching for a less-oily alternative to Juice Beauty's CC Cream which I've been using for years – but which leaves a noticeable sheen on my skin, which I then have to try and powder/mattify. Recently I've been asking myself "wouldn't it be great if I could skip the extra step in my routine and just find a less shiny alternative?" Enter Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer: exactly the same SPF of 30, dewy sheer to medium 'buildable' coverage and sufficient hydration for my skin, without applying a separate moisturizer beforehand. Like the CC cream I use, it applies best with fingers. It also wears very well (10 hours and still staying put) and I only need a spot of concealer after this to be all set to go. However it is doesn't give my skin the 'glow' I get with Juice Beauty, which is probably because that one is full of organic ingredients and skin brighteners. Once I remove Nars, my skin looks dull. Not the end of the world for me as I can just use a brightening cleanser or moisturizer instead, but it was the convenience of 'everything in one' I was looking for and loved so much about the CC cream, making me remain loyal to it for so many years. Will absolutely continue to use Nars and finish it up, whilst remaining on the look-out for something that can tick all the boxes . i love this moisturizer! i have really sensitive and acne prone skin, and this moisturizer is the only one i can use consistently and not get acne as a result. it doesnt have a scent, and feels so nice on my face. i always keep this moisturizer in my bag and use it every single day, sometimes more than once. i even use it as a primer before i put my makeup on and it helps me achieve a great moisturized, dewy, and bright look!natalie

This sunscreen is the worst. I've tried it three or four times now, and every time it gets in my eyes and they end up burning, watery,and painful, even though I avoid the eye area, and sometimes hours later. I can't believe this is an offering from a premium brand like MB at this price point. It feels like I am putting regular for-your-body suntan lotion on my face. It's not particular greasy, but it does seem to just sit on your skin. There are countless better offerings for facial sunscreen out there. Cotz and Olay mineral are light years beyond this. I used this as a daily moisturizer after cleansing and using a toner. It absorbed into my skin well, and I loved the dewy way it made my skin look. I used the same small bottle for several months, so a little goes a long way! Unfortunately, it made my skin feel very congested, and my acne flared up. My pores were full of gunk, my face was really oily, and I started getting cystic acne on my face and neck. I quit using it three days ago and my skin has already calmed down immensely, and the cysts are going away. If you have skin that isn't acne-prone or is more dry, this could be great for you. If your skin is acne-prone, be careful!Having acne is hard

This lotion STINKS of floral fragrance. Even tiny amounts are unbearable. Definitely avoid if you have odor sensitivities or fragrance allergies. It also doesn’t last very long – I work in a cubicle in an office with no windows, and I get noticeable sun exposure walking to the bus terminal in the afternoon. I don’t have this rapid on-skin degradation issue with other brands of sunscreens, despite the fact they all suggest reapplying every 2 hours. You actually HAVE to with this one, which means using it up faster… and constantly re-applying makes my face greasier and greasier as the day goes on. Not recommended.Marjorie

I'm a Supergoop fanatic. I've tried almost all their face products. Superscreen is my absolute Can't-live-without-it favorite. It's lightweight, soaks right into the skin and disappears while moisturizing my dry sensitive face. Very light scent and gentle enough to apply to eyelids, neck and chest. I use a healthy layer of Superscreen before using one of their primers, and it makes a perfect base under makeup or a polished feel for no makeup days. It's a water based lotion so if you want a light layer just moisten your fingers a little before applying, and then it's got great slip and play time before soaking in.Emily

I have tried so many daily moisturizers with sunscreen and all of them leave my face almost dripping with greasy by the middle of the day. Superscreen goes on like a rich moisturizer and settles in nicely to my skin. This isn’t matte on my skin, I don’t think anything ever will be. But it definitely doesn’t melt as the day goes on. It hydrates and plumps my skin and gives me a dewy complexion. I was a bit concerned about the size of the jar for the price point but it is such a rich cream that a little bit goes a long way. And most importantly, as a sunscreen, it definitely works! I wear this over a daily serum. I do not wear any foundation or other makeup, occasionally I will wear a bronzing powder or cream blush so I can’t speak for how it wears under makeup.Leslie M.

I was excited to try this despite the reviews about a bad white cast and weird smell. Well, I tried it and this product isn't for me, but not for those reasons. I have pale skin and so a white cast isn't typically a huge concern for me. I found that there was one initially but by the time it dried down and I was ready to do my makeup, it wasn't noticeable. Again though, I have pale skin, this may not be the case if you have darker skin. As for the smell, yes, it absolutely smells like fruit loops as others have mentioned! I personally don't think it's a bad smell (just smells sweet and fruity) and it did dissipate over time. The thing that bothered me about this "moisturizer" is that is a complete misnomer! I didn't find it moisturizing at all, and in fact with my combination skin, it caused flaky, peeling skin around my mouth and cheeks where my skin is normal-to-dry. Then, in my oilier parts like my forehead and nose, at first it was nicely mattifying but after about an hour my skin seemed to rebel and create even more oil in those spots to over-compensate for the dryness of the product. So I was left with some parts that were dry and flaky and other parts that looked greasy after a short period of time. NOT a good look! Maaaybe in the summer this would work differently, but I think there are better physical sunscreen products out there that give a more even result. Again, my biggest pet-peeve about this was that they are calling this a moisturizer when instead it should just be called a physical sunscreen. The only way I see this working is if you use a real moisturizer underneath, which in my opinion makes too many heavy layers. I've tried this product multiple times over late spring/summer and early fall over various combinations of products and everytime I find myself with a ghostlike white face and with significant pilling, as I try to blend it in better, it wnds up flaking off. And I end up redoing my routine after doing a double cleanse to remove. I generally have liked the Juice Beauty products I've used before amd their brightening cleanser is a staple in my morning routine. I'm a very fair skinned brunette and can't imagine this working on any skin tone without leaving a white cast. It's very thick and difficult to apply which is expected with a mineral screen, but this one is even more so than most I've tried.dextean

This is not the easiest sunscreen to work with, but it is worth the trouble. It has, hands-down, some of the safest and cleanest ingredients of any other sunscreen on the market, which is what is most important to me. It took me a while to love this sunscreen, but once I learned how to work with it, I will never use another. If you have any dry skin/patches, this will NOT rub into your skin, leave a white cast, and separate throughout the day. BUT if I make sure my face is free from dead skin and super well moisturized, it blends in pretty easily. I will also mix it with a drop of bb cream sometimes to help get rid of the white cast when I'm tanner in the summer. I'm about to buy my third bottle.Rose

I love all of La Roche-Posay products including this one, however it is not my favorite sunscreen. I love the ingredients and it's benefits and it does not leave a white cast, but for my combination skin it leaves my face looking really oily and shiny. it's an easy fix with blotting sheets but you do have to use them throughout the day to avoid the shiny look. additionally if you place this product close to your eyes it will make them burn a little so be careful. lastly, the other thing I don't love is that after the 4-5 hour mark It starts to peel a little bit and any concealer or blush you put on top will peel too especially if you touch your face. I like the price of it so I use this product when I know I will be at home and/or I know I won't use makeup that day, that way I use other more expensive sunscreens when I go out and wear makeup.Gina

I've tried a variety of sunscreens over the last two years and they've all had any issue regarding drying out or worsening any progress I've made to my skin. I went out on a limb tried this one since I tend to mix moisturizers with my SPF regardless and I've never been happier with my skin! This sunscreen hydrates while repairing my skin, AND still manages to protect against the sunniest days. My skin may get a bit oily and was concerned for my pores but as the day progresses it's never overbearing. Also like a lot of sunscreens watch out with it going in your eyes as it will burn and sting very harsh. I am so happy to finally settle down with one sunscreen and STICK to it long term without having anymore concerns for my skin.J

I have never really loved an SPF moisturizer. There's a few of them I like, namely Supergoop and Cetaphil Ultra Light, but I wanted to try something different. This stuff I can actually say I love. I have oily, hyperpigmented skin that's prone to congestion and my skin barrier was destroyed by too many actives a few months ago. This really feels like skincare and I can feel it sink in in the best possible way. It does seem to contribute a bit to my oiliness, but by no means am I a grease bucket like with some SPF products. An afternoon blot is enough to manage it. I use the correct amount and have not had issues with pilling. In fact, it acts beautifully as a primer on my skin. It burned my eyes once, but that's because I was in a rush and definitely got it in my eyelashes. I like to experiment with different products and am not a very loyal consumer lol, but I'll definitely be repurchasing this.Finn

I’ve been searching for a combined SPF moisturiser for a while. I bought this on a bit of a whim and liked it but thought it was a bit pricey for something I need everyday. It was only when I stopped using it and tried a la Roche tinted mat cheaper alternative did I realise how much I loved the paulas choice. It has a light sun cream feel that is super moisturising and not oily. It has a “glow” affect which I was sceptical of when I squeezed the product out of the tube because it looks like it’s going to be a clay mask but it does well it brighten skin and avoid a cakey white sheen on the face. I use in the day after The Ordinary AHA and I find my face feels fresh plump abs moisturised all day. I will say, if you use and sweat straight away, you will see a bit of white cast. As I found out on a run. But no biggie, SPF is cool.Abigail

I tend not to try new products as my skin is so sensitive but I read up about the background to Paula's choice and the story resonated with me. I initially bought a small tube of the moisturiser and within days my skin felt so much more moisturised, and the initial glow is lovely. I have rosacea aswell as sensitive skin and both have been dramatically improved by this product. Having factor 30 spf is an additional bonus, particularly due to my type of skin. I cannot recommend this product enough. I've now bought a full sized tube and will be restocking as soon as it's finished. I've added a photo with no makeup, I wouldn't have been able to do that before using the Essential glow moisturiser as my skin was so blotchy and spotty!Nicola

I am surprised by how much I LOVE this sunscreen. For years my HG has been PC Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 as the tint looks really nice on my skin tone and isn't greasy, but it is a bit drying for my skin type (dry and sensitive). This might be my new HG! I hesitated on buying it because I was scared it would be shimmery (which I hate) or greasy and heavy, but it is not. It feels lighter and less greasy than the Calm SPF for Normal to Dry. It feels similar to Calm SPF for Normal to Oily but without the blinding white cast. It is not drying like the Super-Light Wrinkle Defense. It's the Goldilocks of mineral SPF! It is not shimmery at all – I'm not even sure why or how it imparts a "glow" but, it does! I'm pretty sure the "glow" is some kind of magic, perhaps fairy dust? And on my skin there is ZERO white cast. Seriously. It's amazing. I’m very happy with this serum, it’s very hydrating! There is no sticky residue , I always apply it after cleansing on a damp skin (the only way to apply HA) and I follow up either with an essence and the moisturizer or str8 to the Hydro Boost gel moisturizer and the hydration on my skin is unbelievable. I love that the formulation includes panthenol and Alantoin which are very barrier calming to the skin and the price is very affordable, it’s a great deal! Of course there is Johnson Johnson behind so you know there has been very well testing and researching. I’m sure you can find super expensive HA serums out there from prestigious companies in cosmetics but I think for an HA serum you really don’t need to spend more than 20$.. and for the price this serum offers A LOT! If you are out there looking for HA serum try this out you won’t regret it.heather .b

I must say that I really am impressed and pleased with this product! The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum (which I have been using exclusively as a day Serum as I have the night pressed Serum ive been using at night time) CAN BE used as BOTH a day and night treatment serum, under your regular moisturizer. This serum is #frangrancefree #hypoallergenic #parbenfree #mineraloilfree #non-comedogenic and suitable for ALL skin types and has a 17% #hydrationcomplex and is also #dermatologistrecommended I must say I was immediately intrigued by this product from immediately out of the box! For starters its very attractive looking and esthetically appeasing (just look at it in the photos, the awesome Transitioning blue color look with all the little blue and white "bubbles" inside it.) I personally just find it very visually attractive. The product bottle again comes filled right to the very top and has a "push button" style dropper for application. This product feels absolutely #AMAZING!! It has absolutely Zero "greasy" nor "oily" feeling what so ever and is extremely light weight and completely absorbed very quickly, actually i would find it kinda comparable to the feeling of natural water, and since it absorbes so quickly its also shaves that few extra moments off the time it takes to do your facial care routine. I also find that it layers very nicely with my moisturizer, and I have used a couple different types of moisturizer (my day time acne treatment (2 different ones) as well as my overnight care cream) and it paired nicely with all of them! Bought this product seeking just what it advertised, an SPF of 50 in a moisturizer. I find it is very greasy, and does not dry down over time. When I use it without makeup, I find it burns my eyes after a short period of time. I find it pills, leaving almost a somewhat gritty feeling. I used the Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum underneath it, and without it, but still had the same problem. The packaging is visually nice, but once you apply the sunscreen your hands and the bottle are slick, I drop it frequently, and it's tall and narrow shape results in it being very easily knocked over. In order to get the SPF of 50 I use three pumps which covers my face and neck, and even after 1/2 an hour, it is still tacky. When used under foundation (I wear Dior Forever) which I apply with a brush, I found streaks, and my makeup moved around a lot.509Gran

I have tried SO MANY sunscreens over the years, and am always on the hunt for the perfect product. Found it! This is moisturizing but not sticky or greasy. It doesn't sting, even when I use it on my eyelids, because it doesn't travel into my eyes. It's not a sports sunscreen, so it's not mean to hold up to heavy sweat, but it holds up fine when I'm sweating moderately, and, unlike sports sunscreens, it washes off easily with a simple cleanser. I haven't had any problems with it breaking me out. I love the ingredients. It has ceramides, which are effective moisturizers, and none of the usual suspect preservatives. And no oxybenzone, thankfully — just the other standard sunscreen agents for UVA and UVB blocking. I hope this product never gets discontinued! It's perfect.W

This is my favorite drugstore sunscreen. First of all, it is affordable ($12-$15) depending on where you get it. Also, you can often find coupons online to get an even better deal. It contains some great ingredients for your skin such as hyaluronic acid and ceramides. It’s is oil-free, fragrance free, paraben-free and non-comedogenic. It is a chemical sunscreen. It is not greasy. It blends in quickly. There is no white cast that I can see. I have fair-light skin so keep that in mind. The box says it works well for normal to oily skin. I have dry skin and this works great for me. I use this on top of my day moisturizer, but for someone with normal/combo/oily skin, this could be your sunscreen/moisturizer in one. It doesn’t have a strong sunscreen scent. CeraVe describes this product as having a matte finish. I would say the finish is more natural, maybe slightly dewy, but I think the dewy-ness fades a few minutes after applying. It also plays well with make-up which I also really appreciate. I can’t think of any negatives about this sunscreen. If you prefer physical sunscreen, you’ll have to pass on this one as it is a chemical sunscreen as I said above. That’s personal preference though. All in all, I think this is a great pick for pretty much anyone.robyn.d

This is really my favorite lotion/sunscreen. I have both, the a.m. moisturizer and this one but I’d still prefer this. I hate especially in the morning after I wash my face that once I normally apply sunscreen my face will feel greasy BUT not with this one which is why I love it. The a.m. one doesn’t leave me feeling greasy either but I still prefer this because it’s ultralight. The only thing I hate is how small this bottle is and how expensive it is. The directions say to apply liberally, which means a lot lol. The bottle seems to be only a month‘s worth supply if you’re covering your entire face plus your neck. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. I’ll come back and get 5 if they made it bigger or cheaper lol.Ricz

Although I do enjoy this cream for the most part, overall I have a few different thoughts on it as a whole. When I first opened applied this cream I realised it smelled strongly of SPF ( I can be sensitive to some spfs/ creams.) It is a nice day time cream isn’t super heavy however for my oilier skin it did leave me feeling a little greasy ( again, it felt a little like I had applied some type of spf cream.) Although this cream does not state it has spf on the box, I found it has stickers covering old text on the product. The old text states it is an spf 30 product which leaves me confused 😅. I cannot work out if there is SPF prevalent or not in this product (which could be an issue or hazard for some people.) All in all I am not saying I dislike this product but the packaging/ information is a bit confusing. If like me you have oilier skin this might get a bit greasy for you throughout the day but it’s not too bad, I think it would suit a more normal skin type better. I’ve found wearing it at home or on short outings tends to work best for me personally, and using it in conjunction with the foam and serum works really nicely too as they balance each other well 😃kk.l

This is a product that is great for everyday use as it has SPF 30 which I love. I've been very conscious about making sure I'm taking extra care of my skin and that included over exposure to the sun. I love products that are versatile. This helped my skin both feel and look smoother while also protecting me with its spf. It did have a really nice scent of course you could smell the sunscreen but I kinda like that personally it makes me feel like it's working. This is a product that you can use sparingly and definitely don't want to use too much as with any sunscreen it can leave you with that sunscreen feel. After using this wash for a week, my skin felt super dry even using the moisturizers in this line. I first washed and followed immediately with the tri-therapy lifting serum in conjunction with the skin active repair moisturizer and intense eye therapy. I was only given small tubes so they only lasted one week. I referenced the sizes in my first pic. The only difference I observed was that my skin feels much more dry than before I used these products. No change of appearance of fine lines. My skin does not appear any different. My skin just feels more dry to me. My lips even seem more dry. I am almost 40 and have never had any type of filler or any work done. I am natural. Grey hairs, uneven skin tone and all. I have posted a picture of before I started and the second upload is after one week of use of the Neostrata skin system. You can see no major difference. This has a runny texture, but it is quite rich and a little bit greasy. It glides on the skin really well and protects well against UV rays, even in summertime. It does break me out a little, as it never fully absorbs, but it didn't sting my eyes as many (almost all) chemical sunscreens do. I wouldn't say I looked greasy with it, it was more of a dewy shine. I like that it comes in an easily squeezable tube, so if you get the biggest size, you can get the product out without hustle. I would actually buy this one again!Pistacia

I've used this moisturizer for many, many years. As I've gotten older I've tried anti-aging moisturizers with active ingredients, but they are not always friendly to my dry skin. I've concluded that I will let serums add the active ingredients into my regimen, but this product effectively moisturizes, sites beautifully under makeup, and provides sunscreen. My skin absolutely loves it. I think you need dry skin to appreciate the ultra-facial moisturizer because it is a little oily at first. But it sinks into my skin beautifully after a few minutes. I have recently tried Kiehl's Ultra Facial Advanced Butter and think it was great. I have farely dry skin in the winter and tend to get eczema on my forehead. This cream was very rich and thick and creamy, which worked great to rehydrate my skin and especially helped sooth the eczema on my forehead. Within about 3 days of using on my face my dry winter skin was much healthier looking and rehydrated. The redness went away as well. I would definitely purchase again and recommend this product to anyone with dry winter skin or just looking for a hydrating face creamMandyGene

Garnier does it again!! And again!! Not only am I in love with their shampoos/conditioners, what they do for my hair plus that amazing classic smell! The leave in conditioner has been a cult favorite since high school but now on to this sunscreen wow! Everything about it is 10/10 I’m a skincare/haircare just cosmetic genre obsessed and usually I go high end with all my products but when I tell you I love this more than my high end sunscreens I love the texture how it just blends in seamlessly and makes me feel SO moisturized on my Sahara desert dry skin I also love how it has vitamin c and lactic acid! I bought this last week from the drug store with 30 spf. (it comes in both 15 and 30 spf I choose the higher )The description form the website stated most women will see a difference after one week of use. Hence I decided a week here we go . As a moisturizer I liked that it did not go on feeling heavy like most . I barely noticed / or could tell I had it on .Now I did see that a few in reviews said it broke them out in pimples (acne ) I dont get pimples even in high school I did not have pimples but behold I had small pimples that now showed .Okay what to do ? Being one that ones to go to the full week of the trial . I got myself a kaolin clay mask and place a little apple vinegar in it . Which was a suggestion from a friend who uses this method successfully to keep a clear face. After the kaolin I use anther apple vingear mixed with water solution as a toner and then applied the clearly bright . Well I have to say I did not get any more small eruptions . My husband joked when I first tolf him I know have the teenage youhfull skin . LIke haha 🙂 Anyways its now a week . What can I say . My face does look brighther . WHat I wanted it for was to even my skin tone as some areas I have uneven toning caused by the sun . I dont think it looks any less faded to be honest, themselves but I think with my complexion being brighter you notice that more then the slight discolouration on my skin I have. I will probably use it a few weeks more to see if it does in time work for the slight uneven tone I have . Their is one they have which is a peel for discoluration that I have heard workd better , I want to try it . But I have been to many stores where I live and can not find that prodcut carried , of the line . I will try when I drive into Toronto to see if I can find the peelsimone.t

I have been searching for a new moisturizer since Clean & Clear discontinued their Morning Glow Moisturizer which I had been using for years. One thing that I consider a “must-have” quality in my moisturizer is the ability to give my skin a boost and brighten it up. Waking up early leaves me needing all the help I can get to look at least somewhat human! Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Anti-Sun Damage Daily Moisturizer seemed like a good option for my needs, and I was eager to try it out in combination with the Overnight Leave-on Peel and Anti-Puff Eye Roller from the same product line. During the first week or so of use, I loved the way my skin looked after applying this moisturizer – my face was instantly brighter and just seemed to beam out radiance. I wasn’t thrilled with the strong plant-like smell of this product but figured the results were worth it. It seemed no matter how tightly I pursed my lips when rubbing this lotion on my face, somehow some of it got on my lips and then made its way into my mouth where I experienced the worst taste! I kept at it though, hoping that I would see the results advertised on the side of the product packaging. After another few weeks, I noticed distinct changes in the quality of my skin; however they definitely were NOT the positive changes that I had hoped for! I started to notice my skin’s texture had become extremely uneven and I was breaking out with acne across my face (a problem I haven’t had in at least five years now) despite properly cleansing my skin before applying my trio of Garnier products. It confuses me as clearly this is the opposite of what should be happening – this line of Garnier should be reversing this process, not causing it! I am hoping that there is just some unknown factor causing this as a temporary setback on my path to clearer, brighter skin! I plan on finishing the supply of products I currently have in hopes that this may pass as I want so badly for this product to work out for me! I love that it has a high SPF level (SPF 30) as I am on multiple prescription medications that render me sun sensitive and I have fair skin to begin with. This moisturizer is also great as it is quite gentle on my skin – sometimes when I have tried a new moisturizer in the past my skin will get blotchy and red or somewhat itchy and I did not experience any issues like that at all with Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter! Although at my age I do not think about wrinkles and preventing age lines, it’s also good to know that this moisturizer has me covered from that aspect as well – the antioxidant power of Vitamin C to keep me looking healthy and radiant no matter what age I get to!
