I couldn’t be happier! I’ve struggled to find curly hair products my entire life, most products either leave my hair frizzy and dry or weighed down and oily. After using the Curl Manifesto Bain Hydration Douceur Shampoo as well as the Fondant Hydration Essentielle Conditioner my hair was super soft and light-weight. I then used the Crème De Jour Fondamentale leave-in and defused it and my curls were so bouncy and soft! So, a little about how I style, after rinsing the conditioner out I typically wrap my hair up in a t-shirt because I find using towels makes my hair frizzy. After leaving my hair up for a few I take it down and just apply the leave-in generously just combing it through with my fingers. After that I flip my head down and start scrunching away. Then I defuse it! My hair was so bouncy, soft, and hydrated! It didn’t leave it crunchy or oily what so ever! Great when combined with the regular Kerastase Curl Manifesto Conditioner (rinse out kind). Decent on its own, though. I have very curly, color-treated, dry, and frizz-prone hair. It curls beautifully, but will frizz up the second it touches humidity (and I live in the South, so…). I will often leave a regular conditioner, that's meant for rinsing out, in my hair as a leave-in. The REGULAR Curl Manifesto conditioner is amazing as a leave-in for me. I thought I'd try this, because it's slightly cheaper per ounce and you can only (for some reason) get the regular conditioner in the duo gift set on Sephora's website. This muuuuuuch thinner but works pretty well in reducing frizz. I found combining it half and half with the regular conditioner as a leave-in worked best. I haven't used it long enough to decide if I would buy it again, but will likely keep buying the regular conditioner (I guess elsewhere, since Sephora doesn't carry it on its own) as a leave-in. It just works better. I would probably recommend this for someone who has finer frizz-prone hair that would be too weighed down with the thicker regular conditioner (as a leave-in). I have a lot of should length, medium thickness, dry, highlighted, straight-slightly wavy hair. I use the Oleo-Relax Shampoo and Mask on a daily basis. A few times a week I also wash and condition with Redken’s Brownlights Line to reduce the orange tinge from my highlights. I also use an overnight serum and a hair oil most days to combat dry hair frizziness. I have tried almost every conditioner (fondant) that Kerastase has to offer and I have yet to find one that is hydrating enough. Even those specifically targeted for dry to extra dry hair. I once convinced a hair-stylist friend of mine to sell me a salon-sized bottle thinking I just needed more product but nothing has ever worked except to use a mask daily. Today I received this conditioner in the form of a sample that I added-on to an order and I am so impressed with how hydrated and soft my hair feels. I love the scent in the Discipline line so much that I don’t foresee myself purchasing this in-lieu of the Discipline mask I use every day; but this conditioner really is amazing. If I spray my longer thin hair with this when damp, my natural curls get definition and less frizz. It's my go to for wash and go days. It reminds me a little of a "saltwater" spritz, but it is very lightweight. My bottle did develop a problem… the spray kept getting clogged! It was so annoying. I though it was like hairspray and ran the pump with hot water, but the problem kept returning frequently. I finally realized it was IN the product. I received the Tresemme smooth compressed micro hair spray level 2 for free from Tresemme through ChickAdvisor to give my honest review about it. I used Tresemme hairsprays in the past but I always found the bottle to big and awkward to hold also using it makes my hair stiff and hard. That`s why I love the Tresemme smooth compressed micro hair spray level 2 because the bottle is much smaller and better to hold. The mist comes out very fine. When I use it I like that it takes away some of my baby hairs but not all of them but it doesn't make my hair stiff and crunchy. My hair feel soft and looks more polish. Maybe if this formula had a little more hold may be better. I am really impressed with the new bottle and the formula! I would defiantly try out the other ones to see if I would like them. Please consider that I'm certain I recieved a defective bottle when reading my review. I have been using the Tresemme Texture Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray in Hold Level 1 for two weeks now. My first impression was that I LOVED the sleek, shaped bottle. It's so light and easy to hold while styling your hair! The scent is amazing, and the spray is quite fine. However, my bottle tends to sputter as it sprays, with large drips coming out with the fine mist, and a slow leak dripping from the base of the nozzle. I tried running the top under water, moving the spray cap around a bit, and spraying at different angles, with no inprovement. Despite my difficulty, I love the light hold this hairspray offers. I like to style my long hair into loose waves/curls, and this spray helps to hold down any frizz, and keep the curls intact while still allowing them bounce and movement. I would be willing to purchase this product again, especially at it's price point. The bottle design is a great improvement over most other hairspray bottles I have used. This is absolutely my most favorite hairspray ever. I use the level two when I just want a little bit of a hold but still want to see a lot of movement in my hair. It has very little scent and it’s so fine that it doesn’t leave your hair feeling sticky. I have been using Mielle products for a year now and love all the products I use including the hydrating spray. However, this is the first time I ordered from Mielle directly and I had a terrible experience. First, they forgot to include the spray in my original order. I did not purchase this product at Sephora specifically but I did purchase it at a local store so this is not an incentivized review. This is my first curl product ever. I recently started leaving my hair curly instead of straightening it and I was looking for a refreshing spray to keep my curls nicer longer in between washes. I have used it 3 times so far and it pretty much did what it says it does. My curls formed their clumps again and I had a good amount of volume. I do feel a little residue but nothing crazy unmanageable. If I used it twice in a 7 day setting, I doubt my hair would be greasy enough to bother me if that makes any sense. I would last the 7 days in between hair washes. It smells really good like all other Amika products so bonus! I have the worst problem with frizz. My hair is dry my scalp is dry it hurts, it’s course and thick and just awful😂 I’ve been looking for shampoo to help with this being that I live in an area with hard tap water. THAT BEING SAID. I wanted to wash several times before writing a review. The shampoo went on normally, lathered nice, smelled great. I could feel the moisture in my scalp and my hair being rejuvenated. But the conditioner. THE CONDITIONER THOOOOOO. Usually I gotta put a bunch in my hand and then go back 3 more times till the whole bottles gone in one wash😅 I put a lil on my hand about the same amount of shampoo. When I started lathering it actually reached the ends and all the in between. I have low porosity, medium density wavy/looser curly hair and honestly, would usually avoid products with protein since it can overload my hair! My hair is tighter curled on the bottom but the hair near my head is looser and becomes frizzy and loses shape quicker, I was gifted this product from my sister and I really love it! Despite being low porosity, our hair still needs protein so this is one of the few products I use that have it. I use it every few days after I wash my hair to refresh my curls and help keep their hold. It smells pretty good, like a clean earthy scent! I’ve been having a really hard time finding the right product to keep my pixie cut style in place. I like to kind of slick it back, but not be shiny. I thought this product wasn’t going to work because honestly spray wax just sounds weird, but it blew me away! It leaves a matte finish and holds so well that even wind won’t mess it up. You do have to be careful not to use too much because then it can leave visible white stuff in your hair. A little goes a long way. I like to hold my hair in the position I want it to be in, spray it a little, and then smooth through with my hands to gently distribute until it sets. Don’t try to brush or comb it after it sets, trust me.. just don’t! It can leave some white stuff when you spray but that’s easily remedied by smoothing with hands. Reminds me of dry shampoo in that way. It is a little hard to wash out, I had to shampoo twice but I think that has more to do with having a ton of product in my hair from multiple days of re-styling. I’ve been using it after applying a pomade but I think that weighs it down so today I’m going to try just using the spray. I have no doubts, I’m sure it will work just fine. I have used this hairspray for at least 25 years! It is THE best not only for finishing touch. I use for volume and working with my hair too. Just a couple pumps will do in my medium length hair. Then it brushes right out at night for soft hair again. I use the next day without having to rewash hair. Love it! But I can’t find it anywhere anymore! I don’t understand why!! I'm so glad I made my first purchase of products and the aplitar a while back, but I guess I didn't look close enough at what I would be receiving as the size of the bottles! I was shocked that they were all (to even my hair stylist to had come over) seemed like travel sizes. And they're pretty expensive for the small amt that you get. Grant it, depending on the length of your hair, dictates how much you'll be using & how fast you'll be going through it as well! But the plus to this product is it doesn't matter if my hair is wet or dry, I'll use a bit before it dries & then afterwards as well, esp if I'm putting curls with the Le Duo or putting it up in some kind of way; it lets me have a bit more freedom with piecing it out & all the while, without getting crunchy. And it smells sooo good! I think I probably use more of the Sea Salt than hair spray so I was sure to add two to my cart this time, especially bcz you can't beat the sale code! Not as helpful as I'd hoped it would be. Mostly feels like putting diluted old-school hairspray on my hair. Leaves a slight, but definite crunchy feeling, a pleasant smell, and a distinct dry look behind after spraying on damp hair and allowing to air dry (or "plopping" dry). Does nothing to enhance the natural wave of my hair – which is at least partially due to my hair's own quirkiness, but also partially due to ineffective Bounce Me. I found an old one on my mothers dresser. I'm talking probably 2012 lol. Everyone keeps complaining about these formula changes and I hope not! This stuff takes my 2c waves and really defined them and gives a wet look. It made my front pieces and back of neck spiral when I put it up. Really gives curls bounce. It does give a wet look/ so if you want to scrunch the crunch you can do that too. I like to re wet it with thayers witch hazel or rice water that I keep In my fridge and car. I prefer using this on a day when I'm showering in the morning and letting my hair air dry. I spray it all over with my hair wet and it dries into luscious, soft, bouncy, loose curls. If I use I on dry hair it creates some waves but can make my hair feel a little stiff. As for the fragrance? If it did nothing at all I may STILL use it for the smell alone. Lol. This is a good curl renewal product. It has a nice thin consistency and does not leave a residue or make the hair stiff. I used to use curling mousse, including Fructis product, but there is no looking back. I threw out the remainder of my curling mousses bc this is so darn fantastic! If I could give it 10 stars I would. My hair naturally has a very slight wave and is fine, but not thin. Once my hair has air dried some after washing, I spray this stuff in my hair, making sure that it's all over and under and throughout. AND IT JUST CURLS. I don't have to scrunch for the next 3 hours and get only satisfactory results. It curls on it's own and it stays. If you don't wash your hair every day, it usually looks even better the next day. I'd been looking for curl reactivating spray for a while and I'm glad I gave this a try! I will say that for me, it does work better for my hair type as a pre-styler than a refresher. After washing, I keep my hair wrapped in an waffle towel for about 15 minutes and then spray Coco Dew all over my towel dried hair; it so much easier to detangle and it immediately tames any frizz. I received this complimentary product to test from Influenster. I used this Coco Dew as a re-styler on dirty hair to see how it fared. I revamped an old twist out using a mist of water and this product only to flat twist my medium length 4c hair into jumbo sections. The product definitely gives you a salon vibe. Milano products always smell wonderful and this did not disappoint. It smells expensive. The next day I took down my flat twists and revealed plump and juicy definition. My hair smelled freshly washed and was shiny, and moisturized. However, once I manipulated the curls, they got frizzy very quickly on the ends. This is not a product containing hold. The next time, I’ll pair with either holding spray or a curl creme for more staying power. I received this product free from Influenster and Mizani in exchange for my honest experience. First, I have to say that I love the smell, it is a soft coconut scent that is not overpowering at all. The application of the product is super easy thanks to the spray nozzle that gives you more control when applying. I have have straight white hair, not even a wave, except when I use this product. My hair is medium length so I just spray a light spray on my dry hair and let it dry. When I comb it through, it has the perfect amount of volume and I rarely use my curling iron any more. I do a little back brushing on the top and that's it, it looks like a natural wave. I sometimes have issues with product weighing my hair down too much. That's when I break out this stuff! I find it works better if I spray it on my fingertips and work it in down to the roots, then do a final spray at the end when it's all set and the other product(s) have been scrunched out. It really helps pump up the volume in my hair. There's only one real downside I've found to this product and that's the alcohol as the second or third ingredient; I condition every 2-4 days so I'm not *too* worried about damage but do take note of this.Donnie
I am a 69 year old woman with a head full of shoulder length, thick, but baby fine hair. It has always been difficult to manage or hold a curl. I've tried everything. But now, everything has changed – all because I recently discovered this "miracle in a bottle". lol After shampooing I towel dry my hair. Then while lifting areas of my hair, I spray all over as good as I can. The spray is a light mist, making it very nice to use. I put enough on, but not so much that it returns my hair to soaking wet. I then run my fingers through my hair a few times to help even out the distribution. Then I dry my hair &, because I don't have much natural curl, I use a curling iron. The bottle says you will get 3 days of extra hold, volume, bounce & shine. And you do!!! It's AMAZING. I'm on my 3rd day & all my curl is still there. This works perfectly for my naturally wavy thinning hair. Who cares who it’s marketed for. This calms my frizz and adds a touch of oil to my thinning hair without making it greasy. Most oils seem to roll right off and do nothing for my hair. I cannot live without. Also a great detangler. I hope they never change the formula. Too many of my favorite hand soaps, tinted moisturizers, shampoos and conditioners, etc. keep getting discontinued or they change the formula for the bottom line (never in the interest for the consumer). It's a lightweight moisturizing mist (with good mister) to help rejuvenate my dry bottom half of my long dry wavy hair in between washes. Great rejuvenating scrunch mist for that beach look. It has a slight tackiness to it to help hold pre-existing curls or shape without weighing down. I would consider it a light to medium (depending how much you apply) moisture and hold spray. I bought this to help with my coarse curly hair. I've used it a few times. It's okay. I don't think I'm entirely sure exactly WHAT it is supposed to do. I was hoping it would hold my curls without making them wet looking, crunchy, or frizzy. I've tried on wet hair and dry to various results. It doesn't make your hair crunchy or hard or dry up and turn into a white flakey nightmare. It may work best for frizz for someone who doesn't touch their hair very often. Because of my hair length, I'm constantly touching it to get it out of my face, so it always ends up drizzling no matter what I use. I will keep trying with this product to see if I can't figure it out (this is the refresher spray, I also have the regular milk you out on after washing and towel drying).stephanie.c
I sprayed it on dry hair and added a leave in conditioner. It made my hair beautiful but after it was set and dry it became stiff. I softly crunched it out with shine cream. My curls did show nicely. Main complaint is my hair felt really greasy and it got knotted. At the end of the day I needed to wash it out because of the film. My brush turned white from it. I have 3C curls & needed a good refresh spray. This refreshes, but then my hair feels like it’s absorbed the ocean and feels like it’s weighed down with sea air. You know how curls get when you’re by the windy ocean? That’s how your hair feels after using this. Tried it on my daughters ringlets, and it was the same results.
