20 Best Stage Makeup For Sensitive Skin (Feb 2023 Update)

I have not worn powder foundation in decades. It made me look Casper the matte white ghost. I took a chance on Iredale's product. So glad I did. As long as I brush downwards, I do not get the hideous hairy look. Whilst my skin looks matte for a hour or so, my natural oils do give the powder a beautiful glow after then. The foundation lasts all day and just gets better as time wears on. The colour can be quite forgiving, so do not stress about being a shade above or below your skin tone. I really really love this powder. Have applied with both the chisel/contour brush and the powder brush by jane iredale. Both work very nicely. I find the chisel brush lays down more product, since its bristles are a little shorter and denser. I like Jane makeup but it does sometimes make me look a little too radiant. More like shiny, with my combination, maturing skin. So I love to finish with this powder. I think it has the perfect finish. It’s not completely matte but definitely cuts shine. I like that it’s transluscent, because I can get my makeup how I want it color-wise, then dust this on top to get the finish I want. It’s not heavy at all. I also use the balancing finishing spray instead of pommist, which also leaves me a little too dewy. I highly recommend this combo if you’re like me and don’t want to shine like a lightbulb! For an afternoon freshen-up, I do a light dust of this powder and a spritz of the balancing setting spray, and my makeup looks totally refreshed and natural, even with an extra layer. In fact I have been known to do this multiple times (I love playing with my new makeup!!), and it just won’t look cakey if you dust it on and follow with a spritz. I happen to love the Amazing Base Loose Powder and have used it for as long as I can recall(great product) however; as a review of my overall experience… one might anticipate my disappointment upon opening my Jane Iredale package that turned out to be a Foundation Replacement rather than the Amazing Base Loose Powder which is the product I purchased. Nevertheless, both are lovely products! The Foundation Replacement appeared to suit a much fairer complexion than that of the Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder despite both shades being labelled as "Suntan." I am sure both are great for the person's best fit for each particular product.Breanna M.

I love this foundation. I'm in the shade 110C, which is a perfect match for me. I'm very fair with cool undertones & almost nobody has a shade for me. They're always too dark, have an orange undertone instead of pink or they're too yellow. I don't wear a lot of makeup, I just like to even out the redness in my face, nothing major. I hate the feel of foundation on my skin, so it must be light weight & I want something that dries down & doesn't settle into the creases under my eyes or on my lids. This checks all of those boxes. I have dry to normal skin, usually more dry than ever normal. I've been using this foundation while not ever prepping my skin with moisturizer or primer, just because I've been lazy & it hasn't been luminous on me, it's definitely been matte, and I do prefer a dewy or luminous look. However. I don't mind this looking more matte on me, because it checks off everything else & it's not drying me out or making my face tight & im betting it's have at least some luminosity if I'd take the time to moisturize my face. This foundation says it's medium coverage, however, I feel it's light coverage. The Nars Radiant foundation is a real medium to full to me & it color matched me well in Oslo, but it set into lines & felt thick even though it was pretty fluid. I will add that a lot of foundations actually irritate my eyes & this one does not, another plus. All in all, because all of my boxes are so hard to check off, I have to say this is probably my holy grail foundation & even I'm shocked by that, because I've always passed it up. Highly recommend this stuff for fair girls with cool undertones. Highly recommend if you hate feeling like you're wearing pictures. Oh yeah & major, major points for me-no spf!! I was excited about this foundation, as this is one I've always wanted so badly. I began by applying it to a clean, bare face (no added primer). I decided to use a brush for application, and I ended up using three pumps for my entire face. As I was applying this, I found it remarkably easy to blend-out and build-up to a higher coverage level. It truly has the luminous, radiant finish that it claims. Applied, it feels very comfortable and lightweight – like I have nothing on my face at all. I achieved a high-medium coverage (I could still see through to dark acne scars, but it covered all of my melasma). Nowhere on my face did it look heavy or cakey. I didn't find it to sit poorly or collect inside any of my fine lines. This foundation looked great over my most porous areas as well as textured spots. As the proud owner of dry, mature skin, I have found *luminous* formulas exaggerate every wrinkle and flaw, and generally make me feel as if I've fallen face-first into a vat of glitter. Many of the reviews I read mentioned that this foundation was drying, or exaggerated dry spots and fell into wrinkles. Upon first applying this foundation the color match seemed completely off. The formula itself is a watery texture which is to be expected from a serum foundation. I found that it blended in best with either a wet or dry beauty blender and also offered the most coverage rather than with a brush. Once blended in the shade match was spot on. Beacause this is a skincate/makeup product the finish is very dewy so if you have oily/combo skin setting is a must. After setting and applying the rest of my makeup I was left with a beautiful glowy/dewy look to the skin. This is not a long lasting foundation. After about 4 hours the foundation started to fade and breakdown on my t-zone where I get the most oils. Overall though I really enjoyed the look it gave me. Its perfect for those no makeup makeup days. I also suggest using a basic translucent powder for touch ups as it had potential to become cakey.Ariley92139

This is my go to foundation! I have combo acne prone skin and this is the only foundation that has worked wonders for me. It’s also the only foundation that is literally my perfect shade. It’s so light weight and looks natural. Because I have combo skin and it is a serum foundation, SET IT WITH A POWDER!! My oils do come out after 5 or so hours or sooner depending on the heat BUT it has yet to transfer much! I like it when my oils start coming through because I look “naturally” glowy! I have had so many compliments when I wear this foundation! I hate heavy coverage foundation so this one is perfect. It won’t cover a lot of redness but it will make your skin look healthier and more evened out! I have NEVER had a perfect foundation until I found this one. I bought it back in early June on a whim and it’s been the only one I’ve used since. I took it to a trip to sunny and hot LA and it stayed all day! This Healthy Skin Serum Foundation For Sensitive Skin by Neutrogena has me giddy again for this brand. I use to really dig Neutrogena way back but didn't like all the harsh chemicals in their products so we kinda split ways. However, getting the opportunity to test & try this foundation out has me happily flirting again with the brand. Packed with Vitamin B & other ingredients like Pathenol (skin-soothing) this sheer but EASILY buildable coverage is blends like a dream. It is a liquid serum that feels hydrating while creating a glowy glass-like canvas. Powder can bring down the glow if you like a matte finish. I was totally surprised by the results & how much I love this stuff. I got N4921-N00 A.K.A Medium 03 & it matched good for me at the time of this review. It is so refreshing when a product lives up to all its promises. I do have a love/hate relationship with the dropper though hence the 4 stars. 1st things 1st: I love this product. My skin has changed recently due to age and chronic illness. So, I've been looking for a product for a year that would look and feel right as well as be good for my skin. My journey started when I looked up what my favorite soap actress, Laura Wright (General Hospital), wears on her face because it always looks so good. The result was finding this makeup and learning a lot about make up itself. I do not usually buy things because a celebrity wears it. It seems pretty silly to me, usually, lol. But I’m glad I got beyond that this time. The first thing I noticed is that it does not come in a box and the bottle looks kind of clinical. As if it came from the dermatologist. I am personally happy with the company spending the money on the product and not the packaging. The first bottle I bought was too dark. I originally went to the website and did their tutorial. It told me to buy beige. I thought it might be too dark by looking at it online. But I tried it anyway. It was really way too dark. I kept it and decided I would use it for contouring when I needed just a little shading. I then bought Opal, which I thought would be better and I was right. It was perfect for my skin. It is very creamy, very nice texture. It does have a slight chemically odor that leaves as it dries. It melts in nicely. It is easy to blend, and it dries nicely. Heads up: Let it dry completely before making up your mind. I think if I was to do it over, I would order their 10$ sample card. It does look a little different as it dries. There are not a lot of colors. However, you can custom blend 2 together. This is an expensive foundation, but VERY worth it. You won’t use as much because of its consistency, and it dries feeling like you have something on, but light and feels like skin. It seems to wear well, and my skin feels firm in it. This is going to be my go-to for nights out or when I want to look special. I will keep my bb cream for daily wear. However, You could absolutely use it every single day. It is not heavy or greasy. It is GOOD for your skin. It helps it to retain oxygen and moisture. It has salicylic acid, so you won’t break out. It was developed for on-screen activity, so it is durable and long lasting. This is the best foundation EVER!!! Because of Covid and masks, I developed a skin condition called perioral dermatitis. I tried sooo many foundations, like literally no joke 30 foundations from younique to everything at ulta and Sephora! Everything made my rash worst and had so many additives in them. This is the only one that doesn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores or make my face rash worst. It covers amazing with a couple applications. I got the taupe, I’m blonde and have a medium skin tone and it blends amazing. It does seem pricey but I use it about 3/4 days a week when I go to the office and so far one bottle has lasted me a month. I ordered a second for when I run out but depending on how much you use it it will last a month at least. Buy it!! It’s amazing!!Jbos13

This is the only foundation that I will wear. It prevents me from breakouts, is moisturizing, and super natural looking while also providing solid coverage. I tried at least 10 different foundations before I found this one and always would wear full coverage ones. This one has got me to love my natural skin and wear less makeup. The only downside is the price and the quantity. It’s very expensive for how much you get and basically lasts me one month. Final review:Ok so this foundation gave me a really hard time but I think at last I found a way to work with it and now I understand people rave about it. First do not powder it I have combo oily skin but when I powdered it looked very makeupy and cakey. Second moisturizer. For me best combo is with thin layer from Ordinary natural moisturizing factorys + ha. It held beautifuly and it really looks flawless and glowy without looking oily. Another update: I used dump sponge and it looked better after application but still pores are quite visible. I also setted it with transculant mattyfing fixing powder and it looked way much better I was suprised. It also dosen't get oily so quickly with the fixing powder. It's been 5 hours and I got oily on my nose. So this foundation is hard to crack but I think I might find the way to work with it. Definately learning curve here! Update here: This foundation was my first let down from Nars. I really disslike it. It dosen't look good on face at all. I used it with Pat Mcgrtah smoothing primer but it still showed pores and I don't have that problem with other foundations. I even ditched any primers with for example Chanel vita lumiere aqua. It just sits on the skin. At first appplication it is tacky when I powder it it becomes matte and it's very makeupy then it gets horribly oily throughout the day. I now It dosen't claim to be mattyfing or control oil but with my combo skin I used glowy bases before but they never made me that oily! It does oxydize too. I really don't now why people rave about it. I bet in summer months it will get even oiler. Just a mess. I wish I could return it. 🙁 big,big let down!! Only two pluses here it dosen't settle into fine lines/lines and my skin does feel smooth and soft when I take it off. But It just dosen't look good on the skin from the beginning when I put it on face and it looks worse with time. I am going to try it with wet beauty sponge next time but it's my third day testing and honestly I am not so egar to try it again because my makeup looked so bad ! When I look at my face though the day I look like greasy mess. Like I think it enhances all the imperfections. It makes my skin look so much worse than it actually is. I don't have large pores but it does accentuate them. It looks very good in pictures but not in real life. For good parts it is lightweight on the skin and it is quite moisturizing without looking too oily. But I think it is visible on skin it does settle into pores even though I don't have large pores and they are not issues with other foundations. I prefer Nars tinted moisturizer which also provides more coverage that this. This is sheer to medium in my opinion. I will keep testing it with different moisturizers or primers but for now it's not my fav. Package is very sleek and cheeck. Plus for a good pump. Finally tried this after going through multiple different foundations while looking for a new option for daily wear and I absolutely love it! The skincare ingredients are a nice addition to my daily skin routine, the formula blends amazingly, and it really just looks like my skin! The color is really strong too so even just a little goes a long way, though I would say I'd only expect to get medium coverage at most (which is all I ever want). This foundation feels great on my face and works well with all my other products. The only downside I would say is that like all other Nars foundations this one tends to run yellow, the pink shades are perfect for me but might be a little too yellow for those with truly pink undertones (I'm more of a neutral that leans pink). Also definitely not transfer or sweat proof but wears great throughout the day, with the exception of wearing a mask, working out, spending a lot of time outside on a hot day, etc. Basically this foundation gives me everything I want out of a foundation but I could see people with oily skin having some issues with it as I do have to powder my t-zone towards the end of the day and my skin is mostly normal with just some oil that builds up mainly on my chin throughout the day. But I don't mind adding a little extra powder as I have had to do that with every foundation I've ever worn and prefer to err on the side of too dewy than too matte. I was super excited to try this new iteration of Make Up For Ever's HD foundation. For years, my ride-or-die foundation for coverage or special events has been Armani Luminous Silk, but for every day I love Glossier's Skin Tint or Armani's Neo Nude tinted moisturizer. Both are great for my dry skin, leave a dewy finish, and don't seem to settle into my lines too much. However, I've noticed that Luminous Silk tends to oxidize a little, so when I received this new release foundation, I was hoping it would perform in much the same way as my beloved Armani without some of the drawbacks (ie oxidation and let's face it—price). My first impressions: Good quality packaging with a handy pump that doesn't dispense too much product and a good amount of product for the price. The color match was pretty spot on considering I chose it online, and it did adjust a little when blended, so an exact match isn't necessarily needed as long as you get the undertones correct (ie warm, neutral, cool). Application: Nice consistency, between a liquid and a cream (no separating in the bottle either), and easy to apply and blend. Covers well without looking like a mask. Not quite as "real skin" as Armani, but better than other medium-full coverage foundations I've tried. Finished more on the matte side for me so I mixed it with a bit of luminizer for an extra glow. Coverage was more medium than full, though thin layers will give more coverage if needed. Did not last more than 4-5 hours, despite using a primer, powder, and setting spray, and it tended to settle in dry spots and fine lines more than I wanted. If my beloved Armani were to ever be discontinued, I will absolutely come back to this. Mixed with some luminizer, it gave a similar finish with lighter coverage. I was pretty hesitant to try this foundation — I have used the Ultra HD for years and was worried I would be disappointed after reading negative reviews from other Ultra HD lovers. The first time I applied this, I was really unhappy with how it looked. The Ultra HD took awhile to set, so I could take my time applying and fix any mistakes. This new formulation sets SUPER fast, and if you try to apply more where it has already set, it will start separating. However, if you use one pump at a time and apply to your face in sections, it goes on great. I haven't had any issues with separating since being more careful to fully apply to one part of my face before moving on to the next. (FYI: I don't use primers, so this observation might not apply to those who do!) The foundation does feel a little sticky as it sets/dries, which was a little weird to get used to. However, the 'stickiness' goes away within a couple minutes of applying. Compared to the Ultra HD, this has about the same coverage and build-ability. However, I would say it looks more natural. This formula is also more matte than the Ultra HD, which I love. (My one complaint about the Ultra HD was that I would look a little shiny after several hours of wear. Not a problem with this formulation!) I've seen some complaints about this formula not working well with textured skin. I exfoliate daily, but I still struggle with large pores, uneven texture, and fine lines. Even without a primer, I don't think this foundation accentuated my pores, texture, or fine lines at all. This new foundation is wonderful for me! 49 years old. My critical mother gave me a compliment, she did not know I had foundation on. She thought my skin was that good! For me, I have applied makeup on others and it would look beautiful but i failed applying it to myself. After all these years I came to my own conclusion that I perhaps was expecting too much and should just accept that it is what it is. I needed to buy new foundation again… I nearly bought another high end brand but decided to try this first. It took me sometime to make a color match. I tried your camera app to match and decided on the 2nd choice instead of the preferred choice. I bought the sponge as well. I was not expecting much and my major hangup was at least get the right shade the first time. I did not know if my skincare would even work with this. I have no primers… After the application (I normally powder because in the past i felt it was the only way to help the foundation blur up my skin. Not only did I not need that powder in attempt to make it look more presentable the foundation alone just made my face , my skin look as perfect as my critical eye could see. I tried all types of lighting from the harsh to the ring light and it shocked me! I had all but resigned to looking just "meh" and give in to it and now I feel great with only adding mascara! I am a simple farm, rual area, married to a wonderful man. He sees me as beautiful with or without makeup but he definitely noticed how happy I was with this foundation. When I asked him his thoughts on my new foundation he replied that my skin looked so smooth and perfect all with a smile. Thank you for creating a foundation that looks this beautiful and the ease of application. The less I tried to make it look perfect the better it looks. I use 1 pump, I dotted a smear on my forehead and used your sponge to blend it in, went to the nose where I am red and have pores then went to the cheeks and side of face. This is quick, it looks seamless, it covered blotches and chicken pox scars. I did not used it directly under my eyes but did very lightly blend it with a tiny bit then used a teeny bit of shape tape concealer. Just a tiny bit. I now feel confident and comfortable with foundation and this is the first time I can say that. I hope to enjoy this foundation for my remaining years because I will have mature skin and still feel like I look my best and then some. It is the first time I can say and appreciate the term Holy Grail. P.s. I do not read reviews by "influencers". Personally, they just all say the same thing about a free product. I have bad burns on my back legs, ankles, and feet from from an accident when I worked in the kitchen. 7 years ago, this product was amazing. Covered all spotty burn marks. I bought a few more last year and was mad because i no longer had coverage. I could still see my burns after applying 3 coatings. What a shame. I am now looking for a new product that had the same coverage as the old product I bought 7 years ago. Please bring the old version back. I would buy 20 of them to have it. The new version… Horrible. I tried this product because a drag queen told me it was a good foundation .I could use for drag makeup and have it go a long way because you have to use so little because of the product has such good coverage . Also it would be good Product for Me to use because I sweat a lot when in drag because it water proof. Let tell this product didn't help with any of the above. The formal was the consistency of milk. The coverage was mostly none extinct even with multiple larys. The foundation lifted all the gule I had use on my borws for blocking my borw down. The foundation swat off with in minutes of any sweating starting. Product peeled off my face like it was dry skin. Rubed right off my forhead when I put my wigs on. Did not work well with any of my powders on my face. It was all most like had oil slicks all over my face the hole night. This product is a joke. Waste of money and timeWillow

First, the color is very dark, darker tan the mocha, and would be okay, I think, for someone with a naturally dark skin color. I thought I could use it for conturing, but that didn’t turn out well for me. Perhaps others would be better at that. I was, also, concerned about the ingredients. The labeling on the product is so minuscule that I couldn’t read it at all. I knew that I didn’t want products with silicone in them, after reading numerous articles about makeup for the senior woman. So, I got in touch with Almay. This was sent to me from Almay through Glamsense – thank you! This foundation is a light weight, light coverage foundation with a moisturizer and SPF of 40 built in- 3 in 1. This foundation also comes with a sponge style blender attached to apply product- it is also removable. This comes in 12 shades and retails for $19.99 at Walmart Canada. When I received this I was looking for a tinted moisturizer or a fuller coverage cc or B.B. cream for the summer months. The formula is definitely moisturizing and has great buildable light coverage. Usually tinted moisturizer feels a bit too creamy and thick for me – I have oily/combination skin and it typically causes me to break out. The Almay formula is lightweight so I have not experienced any issues or reactions with my skin! I was sent the shade porcelain which is the perfect shade for me. What I like: – formula is hydrating but not greasy – great light coverage, really evened out my skin tone and redness – SPF 40 protection What I'm not crazy about: – application sponge, this pretty much eats up your product and does not provide an even blend. Remove it and enjoy the product without the sponge. – limited shade range – 12 shades – packaging, the squeeze bottle style with the sponge made it challenging to see how much product I was using and getting out of the bottle. Overall,I will likely not purchase this product. Strictly because of the price point and packaging. Lose the sponge and the squeeze bottle, drop $5 off the price and add at least 5 more shades. I received two different shades, one being 140 Beige and the other 150 Naked. I really like the design of the bottle and how it offers a built-in, removable blending sponge. This makes applying the makeup so much easier and versatile. I tried it both ways, but I personally prefer to use mine separately. I feel like I have more control of the sponge without the bottle being attached to it. The sponge is a bit harder than I would typically want. I tried this foundation both ways; without concealer and with. I find that this product does a lot better with concealer. In my opinion it does not offer full conceal of blemishes, dark spots and so on. It does require concealer for a complete coverage look, but this is something that is typical with the previous foundations I have used. If you prefer to use no concealer you will need a lot of foundation to achieve that "full-coverage" look. The Almay's Best Blend Forever foundation does have a sticky feeling to it at first but after it dries it is not sticky at all. It offers a light dewy finish look once it has dried, so I did use some finishing powder. This product did not irritate my skin in anyway. I’m a sunless tanner and it’s been a true struggle to find a #legitfullcoverage foundation to ensure my face and hands match my body (due to hand washing and exfoliation) and doesn’t end up looking splotchy as the day goes by – until now! I found #Dermablend to be the #realdeal – It is highly pigmented as it was originally formulated for folks with vitiligo in mind. This cream has true ability to provide absolute and undeniable full coverage, is a fantastic bang for buck spent, comes in variety of shade options, seamlessly blends last but not least, has legit longevity. All of the boxes were checked for me. Dermablend products are my new ride or die! COLLAGE: pics show Dermablend Cover Creme in shade 60N (cafe brown). Comes with a little scraper tool. Hand pics show the blend of coverage from full to sheer as needed. PIGMENTATION: A little goes a long way, even if using for full coverage. I used half the amount shown on the scraper and spread it for coverage on the entire front of my hand. BLENDING: Blending is a dream, likely due this being a cream. As shown in pics, the shade is significantly darker than my hand but I was able to blend it in to my hand and it covered all uneven tones in my tan skin seamlessly by just spreading it in circular motions using my fingers. LONGEVITY: This alone will stay on my normal skin from morning until night when I remove my makeup. It not only stays in place but looks exactly as good in the pm as it does in the am. INGREDIENTS: The label mentions it is free of Parabens, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium lauryl sulfate (sls). I am still gaining a proper understanding of ingredient listings so I included a picture of the ingredient list in case it would help in the interim. I absolutely love how Dermablend's Cover Creme only contains what you need and nothing you don't. No perfumes, no silicones even. When you melt the thick creme with your fingers it turns into a soft light creme that gives natural looking high coverage with only a thin layer. Combined with Dermablend's powder, it controls oil and shine much better than any other foundation that I've used!Mary

It covers! This creme is a little different from other ones I have used. If using a foundation brush, you will need to scrap the foundation onto the back of you hand using the little “spatula” they provided for you. Put the desired amount on your hand, and “warm” it up by mixing it to make it creamy and ready for application. This foundation is pretty thick so I did have to get used to it. It covers extremely well and has 30 SPF in it – this is definitely my go to when I am outside for long periods of time, at the beach, the pool, or out on the boat. The foundation itself is longwear, not moveable! It covers so well and is somewhat heavy; I will only use it for certain occasions as I don’t feel like this is good for me for everyday wear. Love this product! I have dry skin and it still looks fantastic! I apply my foundation, then concealer under my eyes and a bit on my nose, then immediately set/bake with this Neutral Set powder and it creates a creaseless finish that is long lasting! I do prime my face to begin with and also set with setting spray at the end and with this routine my makeup literally lasts all day without touch up even in the 120 degree desert weather! I work as a part time princess and have to have a well set, flawless finish that lasts through lots of hugs and playing games and this does the trick for me! I’m also very pale, most “translucent” setting powders actually deposit too much color on my skin and make my face look a bit orange compared to my body, this product is colorless and allows me to set my face without adding any unnecessary color! This is my new favourite translucent powder that is actually translucent. I am a black woman and I have been on the hunt for a translucent powder that actually blends into my skin. I’ve used the RCMA powder which left a horrible white cast and had no effect on holding down oils. The air spun powder was too brightening for me caused flashback and did not stop my oils from coming through. The Laura mercier powder was brightening but did well in controlling my oils. But this powder is the best that I’ve tried, it blends really well into my foundation, even when baking when swept off it doesn’t cause a white cast or give flashback and it has amazing holding power and my makeup lasts longer. I bought this because of the antiperspirant properties of this face powder. I had a job interview at Macy's cosmetic counter coming up, and knew I'd end up being a sweaty mess and blow it if I didn't do something. So I bought this and another antiperspirant product called Sweatblock. I used the Sweatblock at night twice in a row, and it helped, but didn't fully stop the sweat. Now enter Ben Nye neutral set…I baked my entire face with this powder after my MU application, then hosed myself down in UD setting spray. I didn't break a sweat the entire interview, I was cool as a cucumber! My face looked a tiny bit powdery, but it was better than sweaty! If I use this like a regular face set, aka a light dusting, it looks invisible. I am a foundation junkie and love trying new foundations/formula's to find the "right one" for my skin. I came across the Lancome foundation on a sale an after reading some great reviews I decided to make the purchase. First of all I am not disappointed, this foundation truly lives to its name. The packaging is cute and practical, it comes with a pump top that controls how much foundation comes out and honestly you don't need that much as it is a medium/full coverage that'll easily hide my acne and acne scarring with ease almost like i didnt have any to begin with. Blending was a breeze and applies on smoothly, it feels and looks just like you're own skin (I'm pretty impressed). After a wear test at work for 8 hours the foundation still held its guns, did not look cakey or separate. As any foundation out there you will still need to bake under the eyes as it will crease a little. Which honestly I don't mind since every other box has been ticked on my list. The best foundation. I really love this texture with spf. Perfect match with my skin because of the Lancome foundation tool. I found this formula to be less heavy and less cakes than other stick foundations I have tried. The formula applied effortlessly and provided good coverage without needing to apply lots of product. It felt like it melted onto my skin almost. It looked like my skin and gave me a radiant soft matte finish. I found it left my skin feeling velvety and soft after application. I also found this formula to be buildable, which was nice in areas where I had a bit more redness or blemishes to lessen the appearance of. This packaging feels so high end. There is something about the cap that is so satisfying; with the Lancôme rose logo on it. I found a good shade match for my fair yellow skin in 160 Ivoire W. I have applied this with a beautyblender and a brush. I find the brush, Sigma F80 or Real Technique Blend and Blur Brush, applies the foundation smoother and more evenly. It dries fast but not painfully so. I do half my face and then the other half with enough time to leisurely blend. The finish is matte and the wear time is pretty good. I didn’t notice much transfer and it fades with no patchiness. I still set my combination skin with powder but very lightly. I don’t think it’s critical to set with powder, unless you have very oily skin. So, I can see why this is a classic and I think it’s amazing quality makeup but my qualm is that I didn’t see the full coverage claim manifest. I saw a light but build able coverage. This can be built up for more coverage but I don’t see the full coverage miracle. Otherwise, when I don’t have a crisis to cover up, I find this a reliable matte foundation best applied with a brush. Price point is typical for this luxury brand and I think it would last awhile. Also, contains a degree of sun protection without strong sunscreen scent or chalkiness.julie .c

In my high school years my theatre director introduced me to Ben Nye makeup. I was shook to actually see how pigmented their fx make up is. We used it for every play even the makeup remover. After we did our make up we had to help each other put this powder on our faces to keep the make up throughout our rehersals and performances. Not onky did my makeup stay on throughout all that sweating from the lights, it actually worked till i got home to wash off. I loved it. I actually did purchase the makeup remover as well. Finally a concealer that matches closest to my skintone since I always kept getting the wrong color because it's hard to find out my undertone. The texture is surprisingly watery but it has a good amount of pigment but when it's spread I find that I still need to apply 2-3 more layers and doesn't end up looking cakey in the end compared to when I used creamier concealers. In the before and after pictures shown I'm using an orange color corrector on my left eye and on my right eye I only used concealer. I find that using the color corrector is more effective in giving a proper amount of coverage for the dark circles compared to without, where the dark line still shows even after applying 4 layers of concealer. My undereyes are hollow so there will still always have a little darkness since of course no concealer will be able to help with that. Overall a perfect concealer and now a holy grail.Emily L.

I bought this in the shade fair after returning a super popular high-end concealer that looked way too dry and crease-y around my undereyes. I'm 28, so I don't have a ton of fine lines yet and my skin is overall pretty oily, but I've been struggling with concealer suddenly looking super dry and cakey around my eyes over the past year or two. This product is super creamy and hydrating on me and brightens my eyes without looking heavy. I don't think it should be marketed as a full-coverage concealer, it's more like light to medium and is somewhat buildable. I usually do two thin layers of a really small amount and then tap the product around my eyes. I've even used this over blemishes on days when I don't want to wear a full face of makeup but want some acne coverage and it actually does a great job of blending in with the rest of my skin. I would say that if you have insanely dark circles to cover, this may not be for you, but that's not an issue I have with my under-eyes. If you're looking for a glam, full-coverage concealer, this is not it. However, if you want something that brightens and evens the skin and is hydrating and natural-looking, I'd say give it a shot!Rachel

I have used this product for a couple of years now. While it is not as heavy coverage as other foundations out there, it works for my every day needs. I usually apply primer, concealer, and then this product. With my oily skin, I have noticed that without primer the powder melts off. But it is natural looking, and it is comfortable on my face. Most foundations irritate my skin and I break out even worse. Unfortunately, I am in my 30s and I'm getting wrinkles too. So it's not easy to find a perfect foundation. As I get older I wonder how this powder will look on me but for now it is just fine. As long as I apply this properly, it looks natural for my day to day life. I use a Clinique liquid foundation for any special occasions. But let's be real: as a mom there's no point to be ridiculously dolled up, I just want to not have a red face and oily skin. I went into the store to try to find a replacement for a powder foundation I used but that has been unavailable for months. The lady looked at my face, my jaw, and my arm to find the shade that would go with my pink undertones and light-ish skin. The shade she recommended is PERFECT! Not too light like most of them I've tried. And the makeup goes on with enough coverage using a makeup brush that it covers skin discolorations with no need to use the included sponge for "extra coverage." Though the sponge does help to get to some annoying spots if necessary. I'm going to grab a few more of these befoe they run out!Cheryl

I’m in early forties and I always come back to this. I have been using it for years. I have combo skin, more on the oily side and this powder works great as an easy everyday foundation. It stays on well and last all day. I’ve been using it for years and I like that it does not settle into my lines and makes my pores look better. I have bought this product for years. Although I like the product itself, the container often breaks where the hinge is located. Granted, I travel a lot and can be rough on my items. What really has disappointed me; however, is the lack of applicator sponge that used to be included. I can understand making a "more sustainable product with a smaller environmental impact," but you are just passing off the environmental impact to some other company as we still need a way to apply the product. I love Healthy Skin compact makeup with SPF 50! I have used it for years and it actually helps keep your skin clear. I use a moistened sponge applicator to apply and blend perfectly. It is sometimes difficult to find in stores because it is often sold out. It applies, covers with a nice matte finish and doesn’t rub off on your clothing. When you use a finishing setting spray it will give you an all day well kept look for much less than what you could buy elsewhere. Definitely an excellent product for many skin types.Red Circle Diva

This is the only makeup product I have used consistently for over ten years. I try different lipstick and eyeshadow and mascara and bronzer brands and products but this is the only foundation I will use. You can use it alone or with other products, it doesn’t look streaky unless your skin is lacking in oil. It does occasionally wear off in awkward places, like forehead nose or under eye, but you can easily blend the fading area with your fingers or a tissue to fixaubrey.d

I used this back in high school when I wanted something really quick and my skin was more on the oily side. it gave me a natural finish and light-medium covered. It did not cover up bigger breakouts but did leave the skin looking more natural. I wouldn’t use this now because my skin is more in the dryer side and it did oxidize on me a little more than I would like. This is my favorite foundation. I don’t use anything else because this is the only one that completely covers my skin without any uneven coverage. It can be heavy but that’s what I need to cover acne scars and broken capillaries. I love it! It has a lot of fragance on it. The product… I believe it's just white foundation so it doesn´t change color, it just "adapts" to yours because you're putting something white on your face.
