20 Best Stick Vacuum Under $200 (Jan 2023 Update)

I bought this to replace our old Dyson V6 Animal Cordless. I read many reviews videos for research. I had a Shark Navigator Pro before and I know Shark makes a good vacuum, so I was excited to try this. It seemed great. It went together easily and the crevice tool did well between the couch cushions and around the edges of the house. I liked the flexible arm that let the vacuum bend to get really far under furniture like my tables and sideboards. It was easy to empty the canister and easy to use. After using the vacuum about 30 minutes, a clog developed in the first joint where dirt from the head goes into the tube to take it up to the canister. This clog (half of which is pictured) was so big it extended from the opening of the vacuum suction hole on the bottom of the head, all the way up to where the head attached to the main long arm. After looking into the vacuum head's mechanics, I found that there are three "lock screws" on the underneath that allow you to take off the bottom guard piece to access the suction tube, which means Shark knew this was a problem and they "fixed" it by giving the consumer more work. I was able to use a cat wand toy to shove through the bottom to push the clog out the other side. This mess pictured on my couch was the result. As someone who has severe dust and environmental allergies, I don't exactly want to play with clogs of my allergens in order to get my vacuum running. I also have a large house, two long haired Siberian cats, four teenagers, and a job. The LAST THING I have time for is housework and messing around with crappy vacuums. For the price point, I'd expect this vacuum to actually work properly, and not take a ton of work to use it. The entire thing felt wobbly when fully connected and used to vacuum floors, so I didn't see the expected excellent quality of materials or workmanship for the price point either. Furthermore, as several reviewers stated the vacuum did shock me multiple times with static electricity buildup, which was annoying. Another con to this vacuum is that when I was vacuuming my couch where the cats lay, it wouldn't pick up all the cat fur regardless of how many passes I made. The suction just wasn't powerful enough, or maybe the static buildup offset the suction, gluing the cat hair to the couch in dreadlocked strands. Besides all this, the vacuum was very heavy and bulky. This thing will be going back tomorrow, and I'll be placing my order for the Dyson V11 Animal. I'd rather pay twice as much and know for a fact that my vacuum will work when I need it to, how I need it to. Save yourself the headache and don't get this Shark Vertex Cordless vacuum.MandieSue76

I purchased the Shark Vertex Cordless Stick Vacuum to use primarily to clean the floor near and around my bird cage. Every morning I let my parrot out of her cage, where she sits on the Playtop, and also on a perch mounted outside the cage. She creates quite a mess because seeds drop onto the floor, and some feathers. Getting my corded vacuum out just to cleanup around her cage was a bit of work, so I decided that a cordless vacuum would be the perfect solution. What I love about this vacuum is that it folds down for easy storage, and I can fit it in the room close by the cage. It's very easy to operate, and easy to empty the dust cup. The swivel powerhead with lights works great. It comes with several attachment tools, however, when you remove the power head to use the attachments, the suction power is not as strong. For my use, having this cordless vacuum is still the perfect solution, but I will still be using my corded vacuum for whole house cleaning.DianaNaples

I bought the Shark because I have a corded one downstairs. I needed a vacuum upstairs for my 2 floors, that was light weight and can maneuver pretty well. First off I want to say the "Shark" name is good. This cordless vacuum does not do well with pets. I have 8 cats and cat sand everywhere, the only thing it does is spit the sand out from the back, Has a very difficult time picking up fur as well. You know when you see a piece of fur and the vacuum front just has to go near it to suck it up. This vacuum does not, It just makes it tumble farther. Good for light clean ups but for every week vacuuming, I strongly recommended getting the corded one. It was more power for suction and spot clean ups if you spill rice or oats on floor. To bad because for the price you think it would be worth it. This vacuum is now on our 1st floor where there is very little traffic and pets. Perfect for a formal dinning room or front room that no ones goes in and you need a quick spruce up. Also if you have cats and cat sand, clean filter ever ytime you use it, the dust seems to bog down the performance as well.jsepulvida

I bought this particular vacuum because I had used one at a friends's. I ordered mine on June 23rd and received it the next day! I was so excited! Three days later my friend called and said not to get the vacuum because her battery stopped charging and she had only had it for 4 months! Well, I kept mine thinking hers was a fluke but nope! After 4 1/2 months, my battery has stopped charging! I have tried to call the 1-800 number but it keeps saying "due to weather" they are closed and to call back. IF someone has any suggestions about what to do, please let me onow. I reallly liked this vacuum when it worked. Everything about was great….except now, the battery!Sad DRB in Florida

I've had many vacuums over the years and this is the worst. I extensively research items before I buy them to be sure they have the features I'm looking for, which is why I chose this product. If I could send it beck, I would. The dust cup disconnects from the handle regularly and already I've lost suction. It completely disconnects and falls apart with very little handling. It doesn't "prop up" on anything in my house like it says it should. Eureka is a good brand and I've had other stick vacs but this is awful.Jo

When I unpackaged my Eureka Rapid Clean pro, my first thought that it was too light weight and didnt look like it could handle much nor would the battery big long enough to make it around my house. I will say that I own a Kirby, Dyson, and no this Eureka so I have quite a bit to compare it to. Style wise it was similar to my Dyson V6 but not nearly as heavy. Super easy to assemble- I didnt even bother reading the instructions. I charged it up and took it around the house. Lucky for this review we are renovating our home so there is plenty of dust from hanging, texturing, and sanding drywall, 60 year old insulation fluff in and on everything and every corner and much more. I've been using my Dyson primarily before I received this just because its easier to grab- the Eureka Rapid Pro is MUCH lighter and just as easy to cart around. I LOVE that the head of the vacuum seems to sit really low to the ground where my other stick vacuum is a little higher and tends to grab things that are "too big" for it to handle and thus just shoot it out of the back- this Eureka is low enough that it doesnt really grab what it can't handle. I also love the extra wheels on the head allowing for REALLY nice range of motion.. and the LIGHT! Never thought a light on the head of a cordless vacuum would come in so handy but its life changing! I could SEE where the dust was under the bed and go where I needed and be done rather than just aimlessly moving it around and hoping I got what I needed to. Lastly- the battery life was wayyyy longer than my Dyson. I even used it- LET IT UNPLUGGED for a few days, used it again and left it unplugged again and used- that to me is amazing for a small stick vacuum. All in all- this is definitely a little machine with a big presence! Thank you!Anna

I purchased this a few weeks ago, and it works amazingly on tiles and SOME carpets. However, it really struggles to get through the carpet we have. The carpets it struggles with is very, very low pile, and the vacuum struggles significantly when on mid suction. (It is very hard to push, and sounds like it will stop all together, which at times it has come up with the 'blocked' symbol and stopped suction all together) I have since worked out that it works somewhat better on low suction, but I really don't think that it is picking up the dirt in carpet as good as I would like. It is easy to use, even the kids use it, charge gets a clean of the tiled area of 4 bedroom house and most of the carpets done (again carpets on low suction) Good for day to day mess that I don't feel like dragging out tge giant vacuum. Was looking to upgrade our stick vac as our previous one from another brand died. I looked at all types of brands – especially the most well known brand for stick vaccums but found the Samsung Jet to have better reviews and a better price point. Previously the stick vacuum was used for day to day cleans and our corded vacuum was used for a "proper" vacuum. That's no longer the case. The Samsung Jet is ridiculously powerful. We have tiles in most the area, and carpet in a few rooms. It has enough power and suction for it all. The included accessories have been awesome too. We no longer need the corded vacuum.Ro_Gue

I bought this vacuum for my wife who, due to chronic health issues, struggles to use our heavier vacuum cleaner. She wanted to get something that would be lightweight and easy for her to use — and it ends up that our son loves to vacuum as well. We ended up purchasing the slightly smaller option (Jet 70) but its battery still works well and can maintain the MAX setting for a few bedrooms. I would recommend purchasing an extra battery and charger if you plan on making this your main vacuum. This vacuum did an excellent job picking up pet hair — which we have a cat and German Shepherd that seem to shed an entire coat every day — this has been a HUGE help in keeping our house less like a zoo. Ultimately, I decided to go with this vacuum and Samsung because of their willingness to offer military discounts and their sales team was a tremendous help.DrPhilboBaggins

received this vacuum cleaner and auto emptying dustbin from Samsung for product testing purposes. First impressions, very easy to put together and very lightweight. Liked the touch control pad for controlling the on/off and the amount of power. I wad excited to try this cleaner as I have 7 cats and 2 dogs in a house with 3 adults. That equals a lot of fur and therefore daily hoovering. Whilst I was impressed with how light the vaccum was and how powerful it is for a cordless model the battery life really lets this down. Maybe I had a faulty model but the battery lasted literally 10 minutes from a full charge. In a house with so many animals this barely allowed me to do 2 rooms thoroughly so in order to do the whole house it would be a full day job which obviously isn't feasible in the slightest.Jessi81888

i had high hopes for this vacuum and it doesn't disappoint on cleaning and battery life very lightweight and powerful. that's what is so disappointing with the overall experience. the canisters (particularly for the clean station) are very flimsy and prone to cracking and breaking. in addition, the clean white plastic handle housing on mine yellowed after only a few months and looks terrible. chat with customer service and not helpful despite still being within warranty. one last ditch effort to call for help today and was transferred to a parts department that was not available on saturdays and dc'd my call. this is not what i expect from samsung products.JSyman

This vacuum is light weight and easy to use EXCEPT the on button is just above the button that opens the dirt container . Every time I vacuum, by accident, I open the dirt container and dirt goes everywhere! Its a mess! This happened to a couple people who tried to help me as well. What a horrible design error!!! Plus the dirt container is very small and needs to be emptied often…unless you vacuum with it open!! I purchased it because my health is failing and I needed something lightweight and easy to use.. Also the main opening in the floor portion totally plugs and the entire bottom piece needs to be taken apart and you need a bottle brush or a something long enough to push the plug of dust or whatever out of the elbow (which you can straighten). Its not difficult, but annoying and messy as well. I would never recommend this vacuum to anyone, its too much work and too much money for the horrible design. I love Shark products. I have been waiting for the TSV and for this vac to be back in stock. I purchased rose gold, blends well with a neutral palate. I still use my original upright Shark vacuum purchased from QVC (10 years) which is a beast at cleaning my tile, wood and carpet floors. I use a robot vac for 1/3 of my floors that are not heavily traveled. The top of the line name brand R- robo vact does a ok job, but it takes a long time and I needed a stick/handheld vac which I could use for small jobs in the kitchen, sunroom and run it over high traffic areas daily. It is quick and picks up well. It has a swivel head and lies down to get back and under furniture. The battery life last and I have never had trouble having is run out. This device is not a replacement for a quality upright vacuum. Nothing is. This vac is for small jobs, daily floor maintenance and I love it. You are able to buy a replacement battery from Shark if needed and I love that too. So many stick vacs end their battery life and you cant easily replace the battery. Not the case here, so this device will last a long time. The hand vac is handy (HaHa) for crevasse's, corners, and I have used the pet tool on my sofa and it does a great job with dog fur. The filter needs to be changed sometimes during a job based on how much stuff it has vacuumed up. I have not cleaned it yet, the manufacturer says to clean the filter monthly. Recommend this vacuum to help maintain clean floors especially in high traffic area and recommend it for any busy household.medicinewoman

I have had this for about a month now and I do have some things to say about it. First off, the pros: Very east to use and set up. I can't tell you how nice it is to just pick this up and use it WITHOUT having to plug it in. Just pick it up and go. I love how east it is to take the top part off for when I have to get under areas the vaccum can't. I love how easy it is to empty the vacuum out. Simply press a button and release the dirt. No dust flying everywhere. Cons- The battery life is atrocious. I can't vacuum my 1200 sq home all the way without it dying. It is very annoying when you are all set on cleaning and getting it done quick and then to have the battery die and wait an hour or more before it charges back up. The dust area is very small. Some people may love this, because the don't want dust flying everywhere, and I love that to, however, the area is so small that after just a little vacuuming, the vacuum suck is really bad and you have to dump the dust. The last thing is, the add ons for the hand part of the vacuum does not connect to the body of the vacuum, so you have to hold them in your hand, pocket or walk over to the charging station and grab it. Minor annoyance but felt like it needed to be said. Overall, a great vacuum for small areas and little cleanups for everyday use, not great for a big clean day.HugeMunchkin

This sweeeper is lightweight and has a lot of suction. It is so much easier to get this out to sweep my kitchen floor than getting out our regular vacuum. It is easy to empty the dirt collector. I absolutely love it. The reason I bought one was because my sister had one and loved it so I wanted to try it. It was definitely a good purchase.Marylin

I purchased this product 8 months ago. It worked great initially. Now the hose connecting the stick to the floor cleaner has cracked and has gotten holes in it. I cannot clean my carpets with it anymore. I’ve contacted the company and am awaiting a response on a solution.Beth

I LOVE this vacuum!!! So easy to use and take apart and clean. The suction is GREAT!! I have 2 cats and 1 dog and this vacuum works wonders!! I especially love the long cord so I only have to move the cord 2 times to get through the house. Also, it is very easy to undo the head piece from the stick part to get to small places. I was a bit worried with so many negative reviews, but I love this vacuum. It is so light and easy to carry around. It picks up everything as long as you frequently empty the filter. I also take a can of compressed air to blow the filter clean from the inside out. It is well made, and all the parts fit well. I like the floor cleaner for picking up pet hair because it has no rollers where the hair gets tangled. The blue color is beautiful, and the unit leans against the wall without falling over. The cord could be a bit longer, but I have a lot of outlets, so no problem. I am very happy with the purchase. The price was very reasonable.Nancy

This little wonder is basically a hand held vac with a handle. But don't let the small size fool you. Performs better than my canister vac. I bought this to replace a 2-in-1 stick vacuum thats handle broke. I bought the Dirt Devil Express Lite because not only was it lightweight for me to handle, had a removable hands free dust buster, it also had a roller brush I can use for area rugs and gets in the edges of the carpet along the wall. The price was about the same as the one I had with less features, so it was a great value for the price. After putting it together I realized it also has another valuable feature. The filter is rubber and can be rinsed to get rid of dust. No nasty cioth filter that never gets clean and holds odors. I have respiratory condition and this will keep my house dust free! I am so excited to have such a powerful, yet lightweight sweeper. It will meet all my needs!Psmithny2

I work full time and run an animal rescue. I needed a strong vacuum for the intake room and had NO time to put something together. To my surprise the unit literally snapped together! It also has a button to turn the broom off which I LOVE (makes me wonder about those reviews that said the broom quit, it's not advertised on box only instruction guide). I purchased this to sweep the laminate floors in my apartment. It was fine the first few months, but the quality dropped off sharply before I had owned it for a year. The roller would randomly lose power, even after I cleaned it and the roller. When I needed to buy replacement parts I was shocked at how expensive they were compared to other vacuums I have owned in the past. The lack of accessories was also disheartening. It works well as a dust-buster style handheld but is terrible as a floor sweeper. I only use it on my stairs now. I will use it until it finally dies, but do not feel confident purchasing another Dirt Devil product.Steven

My condo overlooks the Gulf in southwest Florida. I thought I'd be smart and put in no-see-'em screens on my lanai. Well the screens work great for the bugs = none. But the finer pitch of the screen also acts as a silt collector for the air flow. Then when it rains and blows, my sand colored lanai tiles and GROUT have dark silt remaining when dry. Previous method was to get the electric sweeper, attach long wand and brush head (not a brush roll) and suck up the silt. It didn't do well on the grout lines. Alternative was to use the steamer more frequently = pain. I wanted to simplify the cleaning. I looked at a lot of stick vacs but the DD22510 was the only one that had a powered brush roll, and high suction, ANNNNNDDDD let me take the unit as a hand held vac down 5 floors to my car thus avoiding dragging my huge sweeper along. Got the unit yesterday and tried it out on the silt I left accumulate for testing. Tried it today 7/15/19 and it works just outstandingly well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the support bracket is ill designed. When I put my powered carpet nozzle on and then attached the support bracket, and then moved the nozzle against the baseboard….the sticky tape surface on the back of the bracket is NOT parallel to the wall. I measured the angle and it's about 15 degrees off. Plus the well where the sweeper handle sets on the bracket is too shallow and the sweeper pops out too easily. Engineering needs to rethink. Otherwise I would readily recommend purchasing.Bally

I loved this vacuum. I used it all the time. It was perfect for my apartment. I used it to vacuum the vinyl flooring before mopping the floor. The problem is that the swivel on the sweeper head broke and there is no replacement parts. I was able to fix it using gorilla glue but that only lasted about 3 months. Now I have a dirt devil that is basically a handheld sweeper (aka dust buster type).Tonya H.

We’ve had this vacuum for over a year and I love it. -It’s insanely convenient. Quiet (can vacuum during nap time!), works great on our hardwoods and carpet (no need to switch to different modes), thoughtful wall mount with storage for all attachments. I’ve looked at a lot of other vacuums (including other tineco options) and this one seems like the best bang for your buck. Now, this vacuum has its quirks, and after more than a year of daily use, I’ve come to speak its language. But what you might want to know before buying- It requires maintenance. It’s not complicated, but I have to regularly check for blockages, as well as clean and replace filters about once a week. I failed to read the manual and did not do any of that the first couple months I owned it, and got frustrated with performance/battery life. But it was a very simple fix. And now I find I can still get at least 25 minutes of run time out of a fully charged battery- no different than when I first got it a year ago. -The suction does not overly impress my husband and is probably not top of the line. But we have two toddlers and a dog, and it gets the job done. We inherited a bulky (but powerful) bissel and I honestly never find myself needing to use it. We have a small home with birds and a dog. Most floors are laminate with two carpeted areas and one area rug. The price point and reviews online were positive. This stick vac does the job well and is easy to put together, easy to empty and takes very little space. The battery lasts long enough for daily cleaning. We’ve only had the vac for a couple of weeks but are very pleased with it. A video on YouTube helped answer any questions. So far nothing negative to share.Og

Recently purchased the A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum for the upstairs of the house. We have two cats that shed hair here and there so we decided an extra stick vacuum on the upper floor would be so convenient. We already own a Tineco A10 Dash vacuum and use it for our kitchen and main floor hallways and very pleased with it so it was not difficult to decide upon getting another Tineco product. Our new A10 Hero works great on our hardwood floors and comes with numerous useful attachments. My favourite is the mini power brush attachment as it really comes in handy to convert to a handheld vacuum to clean the chair pads and the tops of the beds after our cats finish their naps. This vacuum is lightweight, has a fixed on trigger option and being cordless it really is perfect for us seniors. So glad we bought another one.EmL

So I purchased this vacuum to vacuum my wooden floors and area rugs. I had only had it for a few weeks when the springs that hold the little clips in place started coming off. Now I have to tape the attachments so they can stay in place while I use the machine. I tried using it to vacuum my room but it doesn’t really have that type of power it mainly picks up superficial things on the carpet/rugs. There may be a manufacturer warranty for this but I haven’t had the time to look into it.Honey Bee

After installing wood floors in the entire house, I wanted something for quick touch-ups of spills and such without having to drag out the big vac. This little vac fit that need perfectly is a great value. Way fewer $$$ than most other stick-vacs. It has good power, even the low setting is actually usable. It's very easy to maneuver with a quick twist of the wrist and the LED headlights let you see under the counters and such. The soft wheels are quiet on the floor, and it doesn't need much room to store. However, I would not recommend this be your only vac as the head is not that wide. It would be a big ask of this vacuum to clean an entire living space. The only improvement I would suggest is a provision to route the charger cord through the provided wall hanger.Timothy L

ok, so, you're all here because this Stick Vac looks like the kind you pay $300 for at a fraction of the price. Cool. Does it get the job done? Mostly. It's easy to get a Cheerio or stray Animal Cracker bit stuck in the flap where the dust tank and attachment neck meet. This results in a bunch of little crumbs falling out when you tilt or turn the machine off as they're being held in place by gravity or suction. The overall suction strength is ok. Way better than a DustBuster at least and stronger than the sound it gives off would lend you to believe. It does have a lovely feature that doesn't require you to keep the trigger down to work, which really helps with fatigue. Though, you do need to be careful with the way you hook the trigger into the dust tank, since there's a catch at the bottom that keeps it grasped to the tank when moving about. The way things release are a little difficult, but it also keeps things nice and stable so it's a trade-off. It really shines with the included attachments. The pethair scrubber really gets into surfaces, the traditional roller-head is on a pivot-point so it can twist and turn around tight spaces, and the extension rod is of nice quality. And, of course, the fact that it's battery powered means you'll have an easier time reaching for it than your upright vacuum. The tank is fairly easy to access and very easy to disassemble for cleaning. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. It probably wouldn't replace a high end model if I already had it, but it's a good buy for little cleanups and routine car-care. A definite purchase if you have little kids!Alex

Just moved to new state, left old vacuum for daughter. It was a larger Dirt Devil that we needed for all the shag carpet in that home, but our new home is a lot of hardwood and low pile carpet and I didn't feel I needed another large vacuum. Read some reviews and as with any product you will read "best" and "worst" – so you just have to decide if it's a chance worth taking … for me, IT WAS! I absolutely love this little devil 😉 lightweight and so very easy to use. Does a FAR better job than the traditional dust mop I was using before it arrived. I will say that we don't have children or pets, so it has a pretty easy gig. Doesn't have real strong suction, but very sufficient for our needs. Nice long cord. A snap to put together. Seems sturdy as I've dropped it 2x already and still works perfectly fine. Because it is small it won't hold a lot of debris, but again sufficient for our needs. I like that there is no belt that needs to be replaced and there is not rotary brush that needs to be constantly cleaned … I hate that! The only con is that it doesn't stand up by itself (need to lean it against something) but that was just a matter of getting used to leaning it on something and not just letting go of it. Works equally on hardwood and our low pile carpet. VERY pleased.Carol

I live in senior living, and not that strong; I moved into here with a Dycem. All the floors are laminate except bedroom rug. To use Dycem is difficult, is too heavy, and mars laminate. This little vacuum fills the bill, does not have beater bars, is maneuverable, goes up against baseboards and flattens out underneath things. The suction is excellent, gets dust, hair and whatever, and is very lightweight. Great simple solution, it was easy to put together and get out of box.Helofu

Really great at collecting fine particle dust, etc. Picks up from carpet, incl deep pile, or hard surface. Good power/suction and easy to switch from 'floor mode' to 'dustbuster' mode. Do NOT buy this vacuum cleaner. If it could be rated 0, that's what it would have got. (Summary: ours broke before we'd owned it for two years, and it can't be repaired. We have a James hoover that we bought over a decade ago and it's still going strong. Buy them instead.) We bought a Jet 90 Pet in September 2020. We did a lot of research into which cordless vaccum to buy, as we wanted to get something that would work well and last a long time. The Jet 90 seemed well-reviewed so we decided to save up for it. It was much more expensive than most of our homecare purchases but we were confident it would last. We'd had it for fewer than two years before the cleaner broke. It had been handled all that time with proper care, as we wanted it to last. Despite that the motor came away from the handle, in a way that seems to me as if it was a case of poor manufacture, or even built-in obsolescence. I contacted Samsung customer support and was informed that I would have to send the cleaner to Manchester for repair, at our expense. (I asked to be called back by a Samsung customer service manager as I wanted to complain about the quality of the item. It was arranged for a call to be made to me. I didn't receive a call when the set time came. I did, however, get a call two days later than arranged, during my work day, when I couldn't answer. This hasn't made me feel more positively inclined towards the company.) I took the cleaner to a local repair shop to see if it could be repaired but we've been informed that the nature of the break – the motor coming away from the handle housing – means that this isn't possible. Bottom line – though I was pleased with it at first I cannot now recommend this product at all, and will not be buying Samsung products again in the future. This was one of the most expensive items we've ever purchased and two years later it's completely useless. (By contrast a James hoover that we bought over a decade ago is still working fine. I bought my Jet 90 over 3 months ago & I find myself using it way more often than my $1000+ canister vac! It has terrific suction (so much more than a prior stick vac 8) especially for dog hair on a Berber carpet. I pretty much need to vacuum everyday (Summer shedding) so using the Jet 90 makes it so easy. The floor attachment does well but for larger bits of junk you have to lift the brush head up a bit to suck it up or it just gets moved in front of the brush. The battery lasts 40-45 minutes on the 2nd suction setting. I do have a spare battery (all of the batteries charge quickly to me), which has been indispensable. Using the Low suction setting allows me to vac throw rugs, bath rugs, any "moveable" type of rug which I couldn't do with prior stick vacs. I love all of the attachments but wish they could all be attached to the charging stand. The brush heads swivel nicely too which makes it easy to get under low furniture to vac. The extension tube is adjustable which is needed since some are short & others in the house are taller, allowing "comfortable" vacuuming. The battery & collection canister are balanced out with the hose & brush heads so you don't feel like you are holding a 2-ton weight at the end of the vac & get hand fatigue. I did a lot of research before buying & feel that this is a TOP NOTCH stick vac. You'll love the Jet 90 for carpeted stairs too (use the Mini Motorized Tool). Thoroughly cleans them, even getting in the crevices. Believe it or not, I have always loved to vacuum but lost interest when I got the pricey canister. The Jet 90 has made vacuuming enjoyable again. Go ahead & test out other brands but you'll find yourself wanting to use the Jet 90 every single time over any other stick vacuum. I definitely recommend the Jet 90. Consider buying the Samsung Clean Station to go with this Jet 90 (but that's for another review)!ResearchFirst

My wife purchased this less than 2 months ago and the roller brush has quit working. It still spins but soon as it touches anything it stops. We have removed all the hair around it but still has the issue. I pulled it apart and found that hair had wound around the end of the brush causing friction and melted the plastic socket that holds the roller in place. I cleaned it up and put it back together and it is working again but for how long is yet to be seen. This should not have failed this quickly. Looking at other reviews this is certainly a design issue that DD needs to fix.MANI

This vacuum is nice in that it is small, light and convenient for in between regular cleanings with the larger vacuum. I also like the brush roll and that the vacuum can be run with or without the brush roll going. Unfortunately, only one average sized carpeted room can be vacuumed before the filter becomes clogged. Once the filter starts getting clogged, the motor starts to emit a high-pitched tone that would probably become pretty annoying if you were to try to vacuum more than one room, or the whole house. But just doing one room makes me wonder if that squealing is making my dog nuts!JL

This is the second Power Stick that I have purchased. We have two large dogs that shed terribly and sweeping with a broom just causes it to fly all over. I love the Dirt Devil Power Stick because it is light weight and does a great job. I have an upright sweeper but it is heavier and does get in around things as easily as this power stick. I pull this out two to three times a day to pick up the dog hair in my kitchen and dining room area. At around $39 it is very inexpensive. I got over two years use on the last one. I only had to replace it because the electric cord became frayed where it attaches to the machine.Cathy

We bought this because we need something for quick vacuuming of our living room. Dragging out our heavy regular one is silly when you just want to vacuum up some cheerios that the baby spilled or do a quick pass to get cat hair off the carpet. This isn't going to deep clean your carpets, but it does a wonderful job of getting it clean! I can't believe it was so cheap and works so well. This would also work really well for cleaning out a car because you can switch it to the handheld kind of setup. This works amazing for vacuuming our microfiber couch to get the cat hair off, and the attachment and handheld configuration make it easy to clean in between the cushions. We also vacuum off our babies play cushions. It got so much cat hair out of our carpets and all the crushed up snacks and random bits of paper out as well. I highly recommend this if you need a liqhtweight vacuum that will actually clean your floors.Amelia

I was adding protein collagen to my cup and accidentally knocked it over….all over the floor. I cleaned up everything I could see burt could feel the powder with my feet.. I grabbed my new zip vac and cleaned up my spill. I was amazed at the suction this little thing has. I just had to vacuum the whole kitchen to further test it out. After I completed the vacuuming, I was fascinated to see what I had collected in one sitting. I plan to use this for my kitchen. It has an extra long cord and I don't have to worry about battery life as I have done in other small units. I am mist excited to try it on the stairs. My Dyson is such a chore to use on the stairs. This zip vac WI mean my stairs get cleaned more often since it is so lightweight.Mighty in suction

I bought the Tzumi ZipVac as a gift for my parents who are retired and will soon be living in an RV full time. Storage space is at a premium but they still need to be able to tidy up and their current household vac is much too large. I tried the ZipVac to be sure it will suit their purpose and was so surprised! This little vac packs amazing power into a very small and very light tool making it the ideal solution for their space. It worked equally well on multiple surfaces. I tried it on low pile carpet, hardwood, and tile floors so I am confident it can handle everything in the RV. And I love that they can easily attach a crevice tool to get at the space between cushions since those cannot be removed on some of the seating. Assembly/disassembly of the ZipVac is simple and intuitive. The manual says you can rinse the filter, let air dry, and continue using. I contacted support to inquire about future availability of a replacement filter for when it is needed and learned the part will be available soon and long before we need a replacement. Support was easy to reach, polite, and efficient. I am very excited to have found such a great little vac for RV life. I cannot wait for them to try it, I think they will be thrilled.DebiD

We’ve had this vacuum for over a year and I love it. -It’s insanely convenient. Quiet (can vacuum during nap time!), works great on our hardwoods and carpet (no need to switch to different modes), thoughtful wall mount with storage for all attachments. I’ve looked at a lot of other vacuums (including other tineco options) and this one seems like the best bang for your buck. Now, this vacuum has its quirks, and after more than a year of daily use, I’ve come to speak its language. But what you might want to know before buying- It requires maintenance. It’s not complicated, but I have to regularly check for blockages, as well as clean and replace filters about once a week. I failed to read the manual and did not do any of that the first couple months I owned it, and got frustrated with performance/battery life. But it was a very simple fix. And now I find I can still get at least 25 minutes of run time out of a fully charged battery- no different than when I first got it a year ago. -The suction does not overly impress my husband and is probably not top of the line. But we have two toddlers and a dog, and it gets the job done. We inherited a bulky (but powerful) bissel and I honestly never find myself needing to use it. We have a small home with birds and a dog. Most floors are laminate with two carpeted areas and one area rug. The price point and reviews online were positive. This stick vac does the job well and is easy to put together, easy to empty and takes very little space. The battery lasts long enough for daily cleaning. We’ve only had the vac for a couple of weeks but are very pleased with it. A video on YouTube helped answer any questions. So far nothing negative to share.Og

Recently purchased the A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum for the upstairs of the house. We have two cats that shed hair here and there so we decided an extra stick vacuum on the upper floor would be so convenient. We already own a Tineco A10 Dash vacuum and use it for our kitchen and main floor hallways and very pleased with it so it was not difficult to decide upon getting another Tineco product. Our new A10 Hero works great on our hardwood floors and comes with numerous useful attachments. My favourite is the mini power brush attachment as it really comes in handy to convert to a handheld vacuum to clean the chair pads and the tops of the beds after our cats finish their naps. This vacuum is lightweight, has a fixed on trigger option and being cordless it really is perfect for us seniors. So glad we bought another one.EmL

The Bissell 2030 is great for my needs – as a second vacuum for quick cleanups. It's easier and quicker to get out than my full sized vacuum. To answer a couple questions I had that didn't seem covered elsewhere: – The removable floor nozzle seems well designed. I've uploaded a picture of the bottom of it. It's about 9" across, has 2 small wheels in the front and 2 larger wheels in the back; and also has a rubber scraper of sorts behind the nozzle opening to help collect stuff. The opening is small enough to maintain the suction. – The noise is reasonable. It's not silent by any means, but doesn't sound like a jet taking off like another small vacuum I had. This really is tiny. The main section is just under 4" wide. The handle is long enough, though. I don't think it cleans the carpet dust as deeply as a full-sized vacuum, because it has less suction. But it's great to quickly pull out for a quick clean up.Townie

To start it's a very quick and simple assembly. The collection cup (which is small) and vacuum unit disassemble for a handheld unit after the floor nozzle and stick are removed. It has a little filter inside the collection chamber that demanded constant emptying and it needed the dust tapped off way too often for me. The unit makes a droning sound that changes to a higher pitch when it can no longer pick up debris. I bought it for use in a little room, but the sound was too painful to bear for long. I vacuumed a room by the hardest because much of the time was spent emptying it over a trash can. It may be okay for vacuuming up toast crumbs or some other small amounts, but I'm disappointed overall –probably because of expectations. From the unboxing I felt like it was for use by an older child because of the diminutive size, and the limit of collection volume is depressingly small. It can and does pick up the but of fur left when a cat departs a chair. However, this stick cannot accommodate "real world scenarios" like vacuuming a room every other day in my experience. Totally inadequate for me. My impression is it's some rinky dink, less than impressive unit. Still, I was glad to use it when a glass pot lid shattered on the stove.Allyson

I like this because it is very lightweight (I have a broken shoulder) and easy to maneuver in tight places. The handle can remain attached on/for the hand held vacuum head and it gets into corners without having to get on your hands and knees to clean those tight places. It can be used on furniture, floors, walls, carpets, tile and hardwood. Just remember to empty each time you use and clean and 'defuzz' the filter to help it last longer. Suggest ordering extra filters at the same time you purchase this vacuum, as the effectiveness is dependent upon a clean filter. It works as described. This does not take the place of a big upright (big suction) vacuum for carpeting. It does help with a daily quick clean up of crumbs and debris tracked in from outside.lakeviewlady
