I’m older and working to reduce fat in recipes. I’ve cooked on “real” woks (steel and iron over 15,000 btu) for years. Recently, I’ve mostly switched to quality nonstick. Tremendous success! When a curry calls for 2-3 Tbs oil is called for I’ll use 1/2 Tbs. with the lower heat recommended. After the blooming of onions and spices I’ll finish in an Instant Pot. I've been on the hunt for a great wok for a while and this has been my favorite so far. I like that it is dishwasher- and oven-safe and that it has a lid, but you should really only use wooden or silicone spoons/spatulas on it. I used metal tongs once to serve noodles out of it, and the bottom got a bit scratched up. Otherwise, the pan heats quickly and distributes heat really well.LauradM
We received this set for our wedding a couple years ago. Although Calphalon's website says these are dish washer safe, we still had been very careful to handwash them. Well, somebody put the 2.5 quart in the dishwasher once and it's now completely ruined. The outside turned a light gray, makes a strange sparking sound when it's on the burner, and the inside is chipping. These pots and pans are way too high maintenance. They scratch easily, even when we use the protectors to stack them. For the price, I would expect something better. I would NOT recommend this product… don't waste your money.ChiTownSara

I've owned this pan for almost a month now and it has been an incredibly useful product. Compared to the rest of the pans I own and have used in the past, this one is far superior in quality. The pan does a good job of holding heat evenly and cooking all of the food in the pan. After use it is very easy to clean and leaves no food or grease behind with minimal scrubbing. The size is also convenient and can hold a lot of food. I have used this a few times in the oven and it holds up just as it says on the packaging. Overall, I think this is a very good product that I would recommend to anyone in the market for new cookware.

Circulon Symmetry Chocolate Hard-Anodized Nonstick 14-Inch Stir Fry with helper handle was unexpectedly bigger than what I expected but surprisingly an added plus. I am able to use this for everything from scrambled eggs to baked spaghetti. I love the fact I can use it in the oven and it is do easy to clean. The helper handle comes in handy especially for my large meals when my pan is heavy. I would definitley recommend to others, especially family use. You can make a whole meal in one pan. It's nearly been two years since I purchased the 11-piece set with the bonus 3-piece set. Honestly, most haven't seen much use except for the rondeau, which is listed as the bonus set's sauteuse (the two short-handled one). I'll mainly talk about that. Use averages about 2-3 times a week. Stove is a GE XL44 and am usually putting out ~8000-9000 BTUs. Sizes of pieces: This set's sizes are unusually customer-friendly. Getting the 8qt stock and 12" skillet is a huge dealmaker. In the case of the rondeau, whipping up food and putting it straight to the table is a great nicety too. Thermal performance; I love their ability to hold, spread, and take heat. Warms up pretty quickly, but slow compared to cheap aluminum nonstick "junk" pans, as I call them. The thick bases help a lot to prevent hot spots. In the rondeau, I make a dark roux in 15-20 minutes instead of 45 and it is my go-to for frying chicken. The overall thickness allows causes good heat retention, which can be problematic if you need it to cool quickly. Handles: Short handles get really hot from the gas wafting up and cooking them. No surprise, but info stating otherwise can be misleading. Sometimes I use induction and handles get uncomfortably warm there too. Handles are just warm on low to medium heat. Long handles have no problems. All are comfortable to hold except when trying to lift the 12" skillet full of food with one hand. Nonstick performance: Came to this set after a junk set. The nonstickiness was phenomenal by comparison, but now I'm desensitized a bit after realizing cheaper pans have similar performance. However, the durability of the nonstickiness is where the value comes in. Durability/dishwasher?/Utensils?: Pieces arrived dented/chipped/scratched, but BBB replaced with no issues. Seems due to pans banging together during shipping, so do not stack pans. Despite the product info, I use silicone utensils and handwash. All nonstick degrade from abrasion; ceramic too. High heat also degrades them too. My rondeau is less nonsticky in the center, yet still nonstick. Cheap pans with similar nonstickiness die within the first year under my abuse. Lids: Handles are comfy but get hot from boiling, but that expected. Keep the potholder nearby. Set worth it?: Great value due to the 12" skillet and 8 qt stock. Most other sets have filler pieces but none here are. You could buy cheap to refresh the nonstickiness but I do not know any that would have the other features. Would buy this again!Sig
I love this pan. It is the work horse in my very busy kitchen. (I have used an Analon version of this pan for over 15 years) I use it at least once a day. The weight is good, the size is good. However, the finish roughs up a bit in about a year, and I replace it. So fantastic pan, short life. This is the third since I replaced my cooktop with induction in July 2018.

I was not sure about this pan when I first got it because it cooks differently from other woks–sides are hotter than bottom, rather than the opposite, and the flat bottom area is very big. Also, it scratches easily and initially made a crinkling noise when heating up. But it was big, and light–what I wanted, especially big. The reason I bought it was because I had moved to a place with a gas range, not electric, and my 11 inch EDU (everyday use) pan was splattering all over. I figured, a 14 inch would reduce the splatter and clean up. I have a 12 inch Calphalon Hard Anodized for more serious woking. So this is supposed to be a EDU wok. At first I was going to return this pan, and bought a Calphalon 13 inch Stainless Wok to compare. I ended up keeping both. So now I have three woks to choose from, a 12 inch and 13 inch Calphalon and this wok. I am now using this Cuisinart 14 inch over the other two. It is big, and that is a major advantage–no spills, and easy to move food around in stir frying. And it is light–about a pound lighter than the other two–when full of food, I can still hold it with one hand, which is hard to do with the other two without a struggle; and it is easy to hold and maneuver while cleaning, being so light (for its size). I've gotten used to the reverse heating mentioned, so that is no longer an issue. If you are looking for a big stir fry pan that is versatile and light weight, this is a good choice.Backbutton

Extremely disappointed in BBB and in this set. First order lost, replacement order created, received emails about delivery when nothing came. Get past that to actually find cookware set on my porch one day. One pan has scratch in enamel and I'm not sure this won't get worse. Another lid severely dented. I've owned a couple RR pans over the years & love them but did find them to wear faster than I would like. I didn't know she released a Stir Fry Pan but was excited to try it. I cook a lot of fresh veggies but I also like to reheat leftover Chinese/Thai food. I love both these pans. I already have one of their nonstick 20cm frying pans. I've had it for over a year and the nonstick is as good as when I first got it. This is a bigger and better. The 24cm is better for pancakes and many other dishes but the 30cm wok is superb. Stays on my oven top and is used everyday. I was excited to get a non-stick stir fry pan fro lecreuset but was deeply disappointed that the non-stick was getting scratched. Worse is the non-stick coating is coming off posing a risk to health. Using no greater than medium heat, silicon utensil (but can see light lines on pan surface), little or no oil results in nice browning, and super easy cleanup. Wok design increases heating surface, but not using as a wok because that style of cooking implies fast, high flame cooking, Handle on cover is not hot, side handle may require pot holder. 12.5" size is ideal for experimental unusually huge omelets. Surface (so far remains) non-stick; food keeps shape, no breakage or crumbling. I cook with this pan 2-3 times every day. So happy I'm not spending time scrubbing stuck on food and throwing away another non-stick pan that fails after a month of use!GoodEats

This has been my favorite pan for more years than I can remember. I dropped it from a height (don't ask) and it was flat on one side. I continued to use it for more years but the lid would no longer fit snugly, On a whim I did a search, found this same pan, and for a great price. Excellent product. I am more than pleased with this item. Cooks in true cast iron style but is light in weight to easier to handle than most cast iron cookware. I thought it was so good I went looking for a fry pan by Joyce Chen but apparently she doe not make them. I would have not hesitated to buy another of her products.

Ive had mine for about 6 months and it is a pleasure to cook with. Took a bit of time to get it seasoned properly but it was worth it. Its plenty deep enough to make a family sized stir-fry with leftovers and not have it spilling out on the stove. It is not a light pan, there is a reason why there is a second handle because when its full of food its really heavy due to its size. The downside is the handles have plastic parts, for that reason I give it a 8.5/10ober999506

I love the way the glass top can stand out of the way – vertically, and not take up too much counter space. The wok itself is sturdy and smooth. What else can I say. It's made cooking so much easier. I’m older and working to reduce fat in recipes. I’ve cooked on “real” woks (steel and iron over 15,000 btu) for years. Recently, I’ve mostly switched to quality nonstick. Tremendous success! When a curry calls for 2-3 Tbs oil is called for I’ll use 1/2 Tbs. with the lower heat recommended. After the blooming of onions and spices I’ll finish in an Instant Pot. I've been on the hunt for a great wok for a while and this has been my favorite so far. I like that it is dishwasher- and oven-safe and that it has a lid, but you should really only use wooden or silicone spoons/spatulas on it. I used metal tongs once to serve noodles out of it, and the bottom got a bit scratched up. Otherwise, the pan heats quickly and distributes heat really well.LauradM
We received this set for our wedding a couple years ago. Although Calphalon's website says these are dish washer safe, we still had been very careful to handwash them. Well, somebody put the 2.5 quart in the dishwasher once and it's now completely ruined. The outside turned a light gray, makes a strange sparking sound when it's on the burner, and the inside is chipping. These pots and pans are way too high maintenance. They scratch easily, even when we use the protectors to stack them. For the price, I would expect something better. I would NOT recommend this product… don't waste your money.ChiTownSara

I bought a set of "The Rock" pans about 18-24 months ago. I have loved the pans for a long time! I cook a lot and they all get used frequently. I bought them for the non warp warranty because my expensive Calphalon set was warped to the point they were useless. I bought a skillet at Walmart and absolutely fell in love with it and bought a set. I'm not so happy now. The pans I use most (sauce pans and skillets) are looking rough. I make a lot of gravies and sauces and use a stiff coated whisk. My pans and one skillet have lost most of the coating and I have one pan that is slightly warped. The outside of the pans doesn't clean as well as the inside. Unfortunately, I bought all my pans in Sand. I love the color, but every little spot shows. They hang on a pot rack, so they are on display. I'll be trying to use my warranty (10 years). I'll follow up with the results.Genna
This is perfect for a single serving and does not take up a lot of space. I have been searching for a long time for a small wok which does not have a Teflon type coating. I found this as a fluc after doing an internet search which then directed me to the Target website. I love is item and also always use a heat diffuser under all my cookware, but, it appears that it would not be a problem , without a wok holder, on top of my gas burner grate. The metal wire handle (very sturdy) allows the wok to be put into an oven. I am now frying, or reheating just about everything that needs to be stirred; scrambled eggs, refried beans, mashed potatoes, etc. Bought two more of this wok as X-Mas gifts. Now what I need is a lid to fit perfectly on the wok; currently using one (but not a perfect fit) from my inventory of sauce pans. I have an Induction cooktop and have a hard time finding pans to work on it. This pan works great. I used it last night for the first time for a on person stir fry meal. It worked great and cleanup was a breeze. It will work for a serving for a few more people but not a large party.BAGGold
This pan was purchased to replace a larger worn out pan that the non-stick surface was peeling away from. It is hard to say whether or not this actual pan will out-perform the previous one, but they are very similar. I decided to purchase it due to the price. I don't do a lot of cooking in this type of pan so it should serve well. I haven't used it yet but the pan is heavy for it's size and should perform well. The only thing that was disappointing was the way it was packed to ship. It was in a box too large that was not sufficiently packed to keep it from hitting another pan I ordered and came marred on the outside.ah2sing

So far I am really impressed with the Anolonx Stir fry wok and we haven't even used it for stir fry yet. I've tried skillet potatoes and because was in a pinch, used it for scrambled eggs. While making the eggs, i was a little worried because of the grid but it did what it was supposed to and they came out delicious with no burning or sticking. The second picture is all that was left after getting the eggs out, super easy clean up. They have great weight to them and so far non stick has been great without use of a lot of oil/butter but still getting a great sear like on the potatoes for that extra crispy. will have to look to getting more pieces to replace some of the cheaper ones we have right now.Besunrise4u
Received this last week and been using it. This is the most expensive wok I have used till date. And it definitely lives up to the expectations. I cooked egg curry and fried rice and they came out really good. The heat was evenly spread across the wok. Especially the fried rice came out really good. So I was trying to work on my own noodle dish with Thai peanut sauce, rice noodles, and a pepper stir fry mix that was frozen. So I put oil in the pan, and I was following the instructions to turn it up to medium, but it didn’t seem like it was getting anywhere. I put in the pepper stirfry, and it was a soggy mess. So I had to remove some of the water. I then had to temporarily turn it up to high to get somewhere, but then I did get it back to medium. I then put in the soaked rock noodles, and it seemed good, and then I put in my two things of Thai peanut sauce-i’m gonna be honest, I think I went overboard with it. Eventually, I wound up with a gluey mess, and I used a bouillon cube and some hot water to loosen things up. For some kitchens, you might have to run it on high heat, especially if you’re trying to cook up frozen vegetables. And don’t overdo it on the peanut sauce! So my creation is off in the fridge, melding together so that it will taste better.goodcontrarian

ive used a lot of nonstick pans and each has their own good and bad parts. this pan has all of the good! super easy clean up. the thick base works well on my high btu stove, but also works on our portable induction burner! the handle is nice and comfy in your hand and if I'm too lazy, i just throw it in the dishwasher and ir comes out looking great each time. the rivets are also covered so no more scrubbing rivets!!! yay!HousewaresAddict
I purchased an induction/convection range a couple of years ago and went from copper cookware to Breville induction optimized cookware. I just love it! I needed an omelette pan so I ordered this non stick pan for a no-butter healthier option. It works beautifully. Read the directions and follow them and you won't have any problems. Also, I suggest purchasing from Walmart as the very same pan is $30 more expensive on other sites. Yes, $30. The pan came quickly and was well packaged so there was no chance for damage. Love this pan. I had a problem with the original one I purchased (non stick coating peeled all around the outer edge) but I wrote to BBB and was pleasantly surprised that I had no problem with a replacement being issued. The return, replacement took a little more than a week. The whole process was painless. The skillet is just the right size for so many dishes and clean up is so easy. Simply love this pan.
