My hair is fine, type 2b so straightening my hair was very fast. The first time I tried it I didn’t have that much time so I didn’t section off my hair and straighten a section at a time. This is not a tourmaline flat iron. The product pictured and received is a ceramic, not ceramic tourmaline. I specifically wanted the one with tourmaline. But I’m keeping it because I did a bit more research on basic ceramic vs tourmaline. But this product being offered is not as described. The description also mentions “Chi Air” which this is not. I have been using flat irons for almost 20 years, and have never come across anything better. I used to straighten my hair during High School- but started using my flat irons to curl my hair about 10 years ago. For the most part, I have used only Conair, and thought everything was a-ok. This was the worst product I have ever bought. I am very careful with my hair and wash it every other day. I also always use heat protestant, only go over each section of hair once, and only flat iron my hair when it is completely dry but this product literally burned two inches of my hair off. Shaver Shop had a sale on and with pay pal pay on four, it wasn’t a huge purchase in one hit so I though stuff it and bought it. Absolutely best decision ever! My hair is the straightest it’s ever been, and it stays fresh all day long. It heats up within 30 seconds and you don’t have to worry about it getting too hot or changing the temperature. I love the long cord as well, it makes it super easy to use and I don’t have to restrict myself by the cord length as to where I use it. I have found my new GHD white hair straightener to be a great product it straightens my hair leaving it looking glossy, straight and healthy. I have used it also to put waves in my hair following the tutorials on the GHD website, I didn't know that it was possible to create waves and curles with straighteners but because this product has a rounded barrel it worked well for creating waves. My hair is natrually wavey and can be prone to dryness and frizz but I have found that using the staighteners together with hair products tends to help these problems and make me feel more confident that my hair is going to look good throughout the day / evening. It is an added bonus that these new hair straighteners are designed to only use an optimal amount of heat as I do not want to damage my already dry hair by subjecting it to excessive heat. The lead is long and the swivel base to the lead makes the product easy to use. I would have liked a heat mat or pouch with this product but that is the only negative thing. I purchased this GHD Platinum styler that was recommended by my hair stylist & I wish I would have done more research on my own first and read more reviews before spending so much money on this flat iron. I am sadly disappointed in this straighter as you can't adjust the heat setting and the temperature "adjusts to your hair." My hair is very fine, thin and curly and I am not impressed. It does not leave my hair straight compared to a less expensive straightener & sadly the straightener's plates catch my hair and pulls my hair out & gets stuck in the plates. The straightener has damaged my ends and pulls out hair constantly. The plus and cord are long and heavy and clunky. Not to mention, the sound when you turn on the straighter is so loud and you can't mute the sound or sound level. If I could give this product a zero rating, I would. I had this flat irons for 3 years now. I set it to 450. After clarifying my hair 3 times or 2 times I follow up with a moisturizing shampoo which I use only one time. Then the conditioner lastly the deep conditioner which I set under the dryer for about 20 minutes. I rinse my hair with lukewarm water then a quick 10 sec shot of ice cold water. I t shirt dry my hair let it set to absorb the water, put some leave in conditioner on my hair then some hair heat protector serum. I section my hair blow dry it on low heat. After I flat iron my hair on 450 using the chase method. It takes me 2 hours to flat iron my hair. My hair is 4c, naturally blonde (do not ask me my race or where I am from because I don't know.), my hair is so thick that sometimes I actually lost my comb in my hair plenty of times. I bought this less then a year ago. At first it was amazing! Heated fast glided smoothly through my hair. Made my hair pin straight. And does beautiful curls. But now the coating is chipping off on the edges pretty badly. It isn't gliding as nicely leaving creases. Also it doesn't seem to be getting as hot. I used to own a Hot Tools flat iron, but once I received this flat iron for Christmas a few years ago, the Hot Tools one was promptly donated. The best part of this flat iron is how securely it clamps onto my hair. I don't need an iron grip in order to get good tension; the flat iron does it on its own. It also heats up extremely quickly – if I spray heat protectant on my hair and then immediately turn on the flat iron, the heat protectant will not be dry before the flat iron comes to temp. I also love the multiple temperature settings. I have loosely wavy hair that holds heat styling well, and I always have the temperature set to 365° F. My sister has curly hair, so when I'm doing her hair, we either keep the temperature at 365° or increase it one setting (to around 400°) depending on the day. I also love the aesthetics of this flat iron and of Kristin Ess' entire line of tools. The soft touch is nice and grippy, and it's never slipped out of my hand. I've owned this flat iron for years, and even though I don't straighten my hair every day, I've never had an issue with anything rubbing off. I used this flat iron about once a week and loved it. The temperature heats very quickly but the downside is that it shuts off after 30 minutes. I have really long thick hair and it takes me about one hour to straighten all of it. So it’s a bit of an inconvenience shutting off after 30 minutes. I was really disappointed that after having it for only a few months, it began malfunctioning, saying “error” on the display and turning off every 10 minutes.
I have the nanoblack 3-in-one flat iron (couldn’t find it in Influenster) the full size, not the mini. It has a 9ft cord that moves with the iron (like if you’re doing curls) it’s not fixed to it, this is helpful if you’re like me have hair past your butt + it helps keep your cord from getting twisted. This iron is beautiful, it has a very soft silky feel to it is super sleek looking. It’s fairly light weight comfortable to hold. My hand wrist don’t get tired half way through doing my hair. It doesn’t have a lock on it to keep it closed but it does come with a cap you can slide over the end which keeps it closed, the instructions sheet says the cap is heat proof but I don’t quite trust that it is so I leave the iron in my sink until it cools down before putting the cap on (which fits quite snugly) hanging it up. As far as heat up time WOW this thing heats up FAST! It took less than 30 seconds for it to get up to temp! The sides are rounded so you can easily do curls without getting crease lines in them, although I haven’t quite mastered the technique of curling with a flat iron yet. One thing I was worried about was that hair would snag but after using it a few times that’s no longer a concern. My hair slides through it like silk. It has ceramic plates which are great for those of us who tend to get static hair after using hot tools (ugh the worst) It has a few different heat settings. I did have to look up how to do that since there’s no dial or specific button for that but it was easy to do. Just keep clicking the power button quickly until it’s the temp you want. When you plug it in you have to hit the power button, it doesn’t just start heating up on its own like other irons I’ve owned in the past. With all that being said I definitely do recommend this iron if you’re in the market for a new one. It came in a really nice heavyweight cardboard box with a magnetic flap, I’m sure most will throw it away but if you’re like me keep the boxes to repurpose or so your tools are more protected during travel this is a good box that won’t be crushed or damaged easily.krystal .d

I absolutely love my new flat iron that also allows for the ease of doing my hair while it’s wet. What a time saver it has been for me going to Nursing school & Work! The quality is excellent. It has air holes allowing it to vent and express steam and dry your hair while it is wet or damp. I set it at 300 temperature and it takes 10 seconds to heat up so it’s ready to start straightening right away. However it does take a bit for it to cool down. The iron is a great size for those of us that small irons aren’t enough. You can take a whole big section and it flattens easily and looks great. So bigger sections also allow for getting done a lot quicker. No need to take small sections to get a great look. I love the 360 swivel of the cord that keeps it from getting tangled so easily and creating a short life for the iron. You can use both hands without constantly trying to move the cord out of the way. I love straightening my hair, but I don't like that I have to dry it first or having to leave it air dry and straighten it the next day. This Wet2Style 1 3/4 Flat Iron is my new best friend. That extra quarter inch makes a difference for longer hair. The heat is consistent. Love the digital settings. I use medium prefixed setting and within a minute it is fully heated. You'll only need one pass through to get smooth results. There is no tugging or pulling the hair. You can get close to the roots easily. I run the iron all the way down except the last inch to protect my ends. Also, the plates are positioned just right so that you never burn your scalp. Just received my new Chi G2 straightener today. I LOVE IT! it works so good! My older original Chi still works but I noticed my hair just wasn’t getting as straight as it used to so I purchased this one and it works soooo good! I've been sleeping on this brand for years and finally decided to try it… game changer! I had the prima in my hand but figured why not start with this one first? Now I'm wishing I would've paid the extra $80 because this basic one is exceptional so I'm sure the higher model is excellent! After blow drying, I was able to get my naturally curly hair bone straight in < 25 mins and the style has stayed for going on three days now with no touch ups (and taking good care of it at night). Honestly wish I would've gotten this forever ago, could've saved my ends and my time by not having to touch it up daily. I love it!!! As for some of the negative reviews, I assume it's user error. I had been wanting to get a straighter at a good price and I found this one which was about $20. Overall I really liked this straightener. My hair is fine, type 2b so straightening my hair was very fast. The first time I tried it I didn’t have that much time so I didn’t section off my hair and straighten a section at a time. I was still able to get very good results. I would have liked the straightener to help me more with my frizzy hair, but hey, this can’t solve all my problems. The straightener heats up fast so that’s a plus. It would have been helpful for the display to light up so I could see the temperature but it’s not a huge problem for me. I have found my new GHD white hair straightener to be a great product it straightens my hair leaving it looking glossy, straight and healthy. I have used it also to put waves in my hair following the tutorials on the GHD website, I didn't know that it was possible to create waves and curles with straighteners but because this product has a rounded barrel it worked well for creating waves. My hair is natrually wavey and can be prone to dryness and frizz but I have found that using the staighteners together with hair products tends to help these problems and make me feel more confident that my hair is going to look good throughout the day / evening. It is an added bonus that these new hair straighteners are designed to only use an optimal amount of heat as I do not want to damage my already dry hair by subjecting it to excessive heat. The lead is long and the swivel base to the lead makes the product easy to use. I would have liked a heat mat or pouch with this product but that is the only negative thing. I purchased this GHD Platinum styler that was recommended by my hair stylist & I wish I would have done more research on my own first and read more reviews before spending so much money on this flat iron. I am sadly disappointed in this straighter as you can't adjust the heat setting and the temperature "adjusts to your hair." My hair is very fine, thin and curly and I am not impressed. It does not leave my hair straight compared to a less expensive straightener & sadly the straightener's plates catch my hair and pulls my hair out & gets stuck in the plates. The straightener has damaged my ends and pulls out hair constantly. The plus and cord are long and heavy and clunky. Not to mention, the sound when you turn on the straighter is so loud and you can't mute the sound or sound level. If I could give this product a zero rating, I would. I was amazed at how amazing this straighter worked on my hair. I have thick, long, and frizzy hair and I had a 1 inch straightener for a very long time and I thought a bigger plate would speed up the process because of how long and thick it is. AND IT DID! It didn't tug on hairs or anything. You don't even have to clamp it hard for it to get straightened. The only part i was upset about is that the product details said it would come with a mat to put my straightener on and it didn't. Why put it in the product details if it doesn't come with it. Packaging could be better if I'm paying over $200 for a straightener. When I bought my Amika straightener it was was very well packaged in a very nice hard case and came with a protector for it. T3 needs to step up their game in their packaging. Overall though, very good straightener for my hair.Can I please get my mat?
I'm not one who has the patience to blow out my hair. The T3single pass is a pleasure to use. It heat up super quick with several adjustable temperature settings. It glides through my curly hair quickly and best of all my hair stays straight for days even in hot humid summer days. It's definitely an investment in my hair and it saves my time getting my hair done quickly.Marianne C P
I got this as a gift from my sister, otherwise I would not have spent the money on this straightener, I'm sure there are other comparable straighteners out there for much cheaper. However I love my T3! It's so easy to straighten and curl my hair, i actually like the curls my 1.5" straightener makes better than my 1" straightener. My hair never gets caught in this straightener, the way to change the heat setting on this was a little confusing at first, i had to read the manual to figure it out, but it's actually easy.yasmin.s

I've always used a Remington hair straightener, and after 10 years of my old one finally going out on me; I purchased this. Although it straightens my hair very well; it definitely fried my hair. I've even turned it down to the lowest setting. I have just a little bit of wave in my hair and like to use irons just to make my hair look sleek. As much as I love this iron and I love the brand; beware because these new irons can really ruin your hair. The great thing about it is that it has a 5-year warranty, and it costs a fraction of what other brands cost.josie.m
I have very wavy hair that goes past my shoulders. While technically my individual hair strands are thin, I have a lot of hair. So straightening my hair takes me a long time and is a bit of a hassle. I always use a heat protecting spray or serum regardless, but I haven't had the greatest luck with flat irons. It takes so long that I get hot from the heat off the iron and my arms get tired. Plus hair would get fully straight, nor would it last. have to say that since using the Remington® T|Studio™ Thermaluxe™ 2” Straightener, those issues are a thing of the past. The 2 inch plates are covered in 10 times ceramic. This gives more protection to the hair against heat damage and helps reduce more frizz. The wide 2 inch plates really make quick work of my hair. I'm actually able to achieve strait, sleek, and silk strands. With 30 temperature settings up to 450 degrees, I can set the heat that works best for my hair. I'm able to straighten all of my hair so much faster now – 15 – 20 minutes! This flat iron only takes 15 seconds to heat up and automatically shuts off after 60 minutes. I just love it! This is absolutely my favorite straightener of all time. I've spent hundreds of dollars on hair tools, but this flat iron does the job quicker than any of the rest. I have wavy, thick, long, frizzy, and coarse hair (damage from trying to go Beyonce blonde by myself), and it takes several tries to get rid of the kinks with smaller flat irons. But with this one, I can be ready in less than 10 minutes. I also just have to put on some serum before running it through the straightener and it will leave some shine in my hair. I don't like to curl my hair with a straightener so having a wider head that can take more of my hair at once has been absolutely ideal for me. The trick is to divide your hair into the top part and bottom part, go in with the straightener and a comb, bring the flat iron down slowly, and voila. It's straight. You don't have to damage your hair by repeatedly running a hot tool over it to smooth out all the kinks in your hair. I would highly recommend this straightener to everyone. In fact, I lost it last month and this review just reminded me to order another one for myself. It gets here Friday!zainab.j

Straight from the box, this straightener has a soft high-quality feel and sleek look. It’s really nice to hold due to whatever material it’s made out of. It’s light and the cord swivels, allowing for a range of motion, so for those of you who want to use it to create waves or curls, it’s really convenient. The straightener also has an auto-shut off feature, which is exactly what I needed because I always worry that I forgot to turn my straightener off. Oddly enough, due to the auto-shut off, this straightener has alleviated a lot of stress for me. Lastly, regarding design, it comes with a heat-proof nozzle, which is such a nice feature when you have a small countertop like I do and tend to burn yourself after you’ve finished straightening your hair. As for straightening, this works wonderfully. I have fine wavy hair that tends to frizz at the tips and curl. It takes me fifteen minutes to straighten my hair, but this straightener made my hair look shinier and straighter without any kinks. It definitely works as intended and it’s just such a really lovely product.
For this straightener to cost as much as it does, you’d think it would work properly. I have naturally curly hair which can take about 30 minutes to straighten. This thing shuts off at least 5 times while I’m using it. You don’t realize it until you’ve gone over one piece of hair 6 times because it doesn’t seem to want to straighten. Then you have to wait 2-3 minutes for it warm back up. I end up spending so much more time doing my hair than I normally would. I would recommend purchasing a different brand.Ms24

It is so cute and feels so fancy! It comes in a sturdy box that you could reuse and just looks so well presented. Anyways on to the actual product…\n\nThis iron feels so nice in your hand. I have small hands and i think it is the perfect size. Better yet it is coated in such a soft rubbery type material on the surface which makes it easy to grip and less likely to slip. As someone who easily burns herself on irons by having them slip this is a huge plus for me. At first I was confused where the digital display would be (before I turned it on) but once I did and saw it light up in the pretty rose gold part at the bottom I was very excited. That makes it seem very high end and fancy. Another really great design is the power button- it is on the inside of the straightening iron. How many times have I accidentally turned the power off or the heat up or down? Too many! This totally solves that issue because you can accidentally push a button on the inside. You control the heat and power with that one button and it’s very easy to understand and do. \n\nAnother thing about the design of this iron is the very cool heat resistant cover that comes with it. I haven’t seen this in any other iron and I’m very impressed with it. For storage, traveling, and every day use a cover is beyond helpful to avoid burns. Additionally there is an automatic shut off, which is pretty much a necessity for anyone who is forgetful. You might have unplugged the iron, but can you really remember when you think about it at work and worry about your house burning down? This relieves that headache. The last design element I will mention is the perfectly curved outside shape around the iron which makes curling hair with the iron a breeze. It is so much better than doing it with a flat boxy iron. \n\nOn to the performance- this iron heats up so quick! Most of us get ready in a hurry so that is such a nice feature. There are four heat settings which are easy to change. It claims to reduce frizz which i think it does- but in the middle of this dry winter it creates some serious static. I haven’t had that issue with other irons but maybe it is just this time of year and the room I was in. Not a huge deal, just wet your fingers and smooth it down a tad bit. \n\nThe iron works wonders on all types of hair. I tried it on short hair, long hair, corse hair, fine hair, curly hair, freshly washed hair, days old hair, etc. In every case it straightened the hair in one quick pass and looked great. I included some pictures below of two people I tried it on. I don’t personally have the curling effect down great so I didn’t demonstrate that in the pictures but I was able to make curls ranging from loose to more spiral (within the width of the actual iron). \n\nOverall I am very impressed with this product. I’ve tried many straighteners and only like one other one as much as this one. I’m glad I have two I love because it comes in handy to have one to take places while the other stays home. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to straighten or curl their hair!

This iron is perfect! I have thin hair but have been told I have a lot of thin hair. ? My hair is very wavy when air dried. I always blow dry it out and it straightens it pretty well but still have waves. I first put it on 400 and it did a fabulous job. My hair was straight and I could still curve it under without a crimp. I also highlight blond in it regularly and it still made it silky and shiny, I love it!! Definitely recommend unless you have very thin dry hair.Deana
I used the Prima Titanium Flat Iron 1 Inch for the first time on a wig that I wore for my last-minute graduation ceremony. I love that I caught this on sale because I've been wanting one of the other BabyLiss Flat Irons, but they were reserved for Pro users only. This is also my first time owning my own flat iron so I was excited. I got this because it looks like it would be just like the Pro version. It was very streamline and smooth because of the titanium plates and stainless steel barrel outer plates. The only downside to this is that the on/off and temperature buttons are right where I rest my hand, so I accidentally shut it off and turned it up on accident a couple times; but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Also, the grip isn't as tight as I would like it when I was trying to attempt to make flat iron curls (even with the lock feature; so I just gripped the covered end to get a tighter grip). Nonetheless, I can't wait to see how it'll work on my actual hair.
I just bought this a week ago, and I'm already in love. I'm a long-time fan of Babyliss pro tools, and this one is excellent as well. I was hesitant that this Sally-only babyliss line wouldn't be as top-notch as the regular, but after trying a few, I'm not worried. I DO think that there is a slight difference, but not one the average consumer or at-home user would notice. I don't think this line is built for heavy salon use, but I could be wrong. I bought this for my own, personal use and it's perfect for that. I am a stylist, I've used lots of irons and this one is definitely a favorite. Straightening and curling with this are effortless. Even with my other babyliss pro flat irons, I sometimes struggled to flat-iron curl my own hair, they were too bulky or square shaped. This is a breeze. I had actually intended to buy a new curling iron, too, but I don't need to now. I have somewhat fine, normal density hair, I use it on the lowest heat setting, which is 300F. I wish I did go lower like a few other babyliss pro irons, but that's preference. The only other negatives I've found so far, are the glove that comes with this is a joke, and I don't find wrapping the hair around the iron like a wand is effective, but that is fine by me I prefer curling other ways. The "glove" felt, which may help protect your skin, but it does not fit properly, especially if you expect to have any kind of dexterity in those 3 fingers it covers. I got a good laugh out of it, though. A+ from me, so far.
