bought this product because i couldn’t decide between this or the mending infusion. i am a man with short hair and using this definitely styles my hair, but it almost feels like a hair gel rather than a cream. it leaves my hair just a little bit stiff and a tad oily. considering getting the mending infusion but if you don’t mind slightly oily hair this does the trick. side note it smells great. i feel like moroccanoil changed their formula and nothing smells the same anymore, but this has the moroccanoil signature scent.aydenb723

I have had some pretty serious issues over the past few years… after having lost about 60% of my hair due to some health issues… and I have to say that this Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is AMAZING!!! I went from having VERY healthy, thick and shiny hair to VERY dry and fragile hair, almost over night, a few years back. My hair used to take DAYS to fully dry, when I would clip it up in a twist to dry naturally. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, the bottom has literally been TOTALLY DRY, upon taking it out from my hair drying turban, only about 15 minutes after washing it… 🙁 The first time that I washed my hair again after having used a tiny bit of this product in my hair 3 days prior, when I took my hair out from my hair drying turban, it was actually STILL WET!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! My hair is soft and pretty shiny again! 🙂 If this could do this for my hair in this condition, I can't imagine how WONDERFUL it would be for those of you with healthy hair! I really really REALLY wanted to love this. Trust me, I even tried it on dry and wet at multiple times throughout the week and let me just say, disappointed in an understatement. To give you better perspective, I have wavy straight hair and I twirl my hair around my finger and usually creates these beautiful waves as my Hair dries. I was searching for the best hydrating styling cream snd decided to give this one s try because I love their hair oil but oh boy big mistake. It smelled NOTHING like their other products. It smells like chemicals and the moment I apply it to myself hair (wet or dry) it gets SO STICKY & STIFF. Once it dries it make your hair so puffy and it worsens when you brush it. Not sure if this is meant for curly hair folks? But it’s s big no for me. Disappointed but it is what it is. Thank god I bought the mini version. I've never had a product that does what this product does. I have long brittle balayaged hair and after using conditioner my hair used to feel weoged down and limp. Ever since I included this in my routine, that has changed. I section my hair into two and apply a pea sized amount in each section avoiding the scalp and comb/brush each section to make sure the product spreads evenly. This product also helps with detangling. Degangle with fingers before your comb if you have long hair like me. Whoever is confused about this product isn't using it right..you're either using too much or it's not spreading well in your hair. After application, my hair no longer feels limp. They just feel healthy. If you feel the need to add more shine after this you can use the number 7 olaplex oil, just a drop after this. This routine is everything. Use the amount of product as asked by professionals and you will not find it as pricey either.addie

I have been wearing extensions for some time and decided to up the game and treat my hair to Olaplex. Big big mistake! The product is way too rich for hair extensions and it has completely dried them out! I had a lovely 20 inch, double drawn balayage hair extensions fitted in April 2022 and bought this kit in May.l (then repurchased when I was out). By September I have left 18 inch and dry as the Sahara. If you have hair extension please stay away! I’m not even close to the 12 month mark with my extensions and I’ll need to get new ones because my hair looks terrible. All that money down the drain, no pun intended. In the past I used just a normal cheap ish shampoo recommended by my extensions girl and I still have the old extensions, that I took out just after the 12 month mark & they’re in perfect condition. I recurved this product free for testing through Influencer, to provide my honest opinion. I have fine, thinning… and I mean thinning, genetic hair loss! I was my hair every other day and applied this in the schedule. That I have also colored with stylists over the past 5 years. This product was sent several months before the launch packaging is beautiful, I'm a sucker for good packaging. It is slightly fragment, I personally enjoyed the smell, slightly herbal. I was interested in the southing properties as I tend to have a dry and itchy scalp during the cold New England winters. The Ouai serum did help with that tremendously, very little itch, irritation or flakiness, like previous years. I did notice most days I used it that my hair appeared a bit fuller, especially if I styled with hear tools. I don't know if it helped my hair grow or perfect shedding necessarily which is why I docked one star. I would decently recommend for those with itchy it irritated scalps, or those looking for a boost if fullness, I think it's the ingredients lifting your hair, again not that I saw hair growth but I feel like my hair felt healthier. QUAI SCALP SERUM I like this serum because it’s completely vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, paraben free and phathalate free, SLS & SLES free. I smells nice and not greasy like one might think. Best of all, easy to apply. The container contains a very nice dropper. The presentation of the bottle is simple, but elegant. I accidentally dropped it and it didn’t break or crack, so it’s made of strong glass. Improvements: My scalp feel less irritated and healthy. In my case, I have dry scalp that comes and goes, and this serum helps minimize dandruff. While using, I noticed less and less flakes and eventually, none. My hair feels healthier and fuller. It leaves a fresh feeling in your hair and a very nice scent. I was selected to test this in March, and I have been using this treatment for more than a month. It came out recently, but you can now make your purchase directly in the @Quai store, @sephora , @ultabeauty and other stores. It’s priced at $52 dlls. A bit expensive, but worth it. I received this product complementary from Influenster and OUAI in exchange for my honest opinion. Just over a month ago, I received this product free from Influenster. Since the new year, I’ve been getting much more into hair and skin products. I’m not getting any younger, so I’m trying to look my best and move into my 40s with grace. I really like the scent of this product, which is kind of minty and is familiar but I could not quite pin it down. If nothing else, your hair will smell great after applying this. The product is applied via a medicine dropper type bulb and applicator. i’m honestly not too sure what I think about this. From the beginning, I always felt like it was not getting enough product into the dropper and had to make multiple goals to get enough to saturate my scalp. In the end I just kind of gave up and came to terms that I would have to go multiple times to do the job. However, I can see why they don’t want you to do it with your fingers, as the shape of the bottle is not conducive for that. The bottles made of glass, but they might want to rethink it and make it into a squeeze bottle with a nozzle, kind of like how you would apply hair dye. I received this product during a time when I dyed my hair twice and pretty much fried my hair. I am going gray in front and getting the color to saturate has been a challenge. This has caused hair breakage and damage. I was able to use his products and apply it to the edges and widows peak of my hair. I feel like after use, but my scalp was not as Ollie but still moist. I cannot say that this is the only product that I have been using for my hair, as I’ve taken on several others in the last month or two, therefore I cannot definitively say that this product alone has helped me. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. It helps reduce frizz all over and leaves hair looking so healthy and shiny. Again, a little goes a long way, rub between hands well before applying. Definitely test out how much your hair needs because it won't be much. I digress. I let it set a bit before messing with my hair and my curls are so soft and so bouncy after. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long. My hair is easily weighed down, doesn't hold texture, doesn't hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out. I can't even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I've always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape. On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too. Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn't have the weight and texture that make my hair limp. It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! So far, I love this product. I have color-damaged, fine, wavy, long, blonde hair. This oil is fairly thick, but I'm impressed with it's ability to still be dispersed evenly throughout my hair. I use this product on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair while it is semi-damp/nearly dry, usually prior to blow-drying. I use a wide-tooth comb to ensure the product is evenly disbursed. Since using this product, I've noticed a reduction in my split ends and my hair feels smooth, soft and silky. A little bit of this product definitely goes a long way. Other reviewers with fine hair have mentioned that this product weighed their hair down – and I can confirm that while this product made my hair look much healthier, I did notice a reduction in volume. This is a heavier, more dense hair oil than others that I've used. If you are looking to use a hair oil & still maintain volume, I'd suggest a lighter hair oil like Kerastase or Opalex. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer – I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use – with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. There’s so many things to list out for this moroccanoil treatment serum that I love so very much! I love the smell! It’s very calming. I use it after my showers and lightly finger it throughout the mid and ends of my wet hair, then I take my wet-hair detangling brush and gently brush through my hair to detangle and distribute the product (serum). once my hair air drys (yes, I’m one of those people but my hair thanks me for it!) my hair looks like I’ve had a team of people working on it for hours. It’s incredibly soft, easy to manage, my natural waves are much more defined, my hair overall feels healthier and more resilient and finally, the scent lasts for several days and so do the results. Long term I feel as though this will be what my hair has been begging me for! I’ve let my beautiful momma borrow the bottle so that she can experience what I’ve been ranting and raving about for days now. Fun little tidbit: my moms hair is down past the back of her knees and she’s also around 5’5. This stuff is freakin amazing. I have thick, course hair that has some damage from color treatment & while I use heavier oils & masks to treat it, this is my go-to day oil that I use as a finishing spray before going out. Not only does it soften the hair, it gets rid of any fly aways or fuzzies going on on the surface of the hair. Once you spray this & run a brush through, your hair will be soft, more defined and did I mention the shine? I have NEVER seen even a shine spray give the shine this ghost oil does. I love this stuff & I hope they never stop making it. Do be aware, though, that this product has demethicone in it. This is not a bad ingredient, per say, but it won't be removed with regular shampoos. But there are now plenty of gentle sulfate free shampoos on the market. You don't need harsh sulfate shampoos to clarify your hair! This is really a holy grail product, if buy it with the knowledge of how to care for your hair when you use it.Sabrina

I recently started to blow out my hair on my own and had been shopping for products for a while and nothing seemed to work for me. I specifically wanted a good heat protectant for my hair. I’ve tried a lot of different heat protectant which left my hair feeling sticky or stiff which isn’t ideal for a blowout. After finding this product by its a 10, I fell in love. My hair is smooth and flowey and still shiny. Other products I used with this one was the Ola Plex bonding oilemily.p

This balm is one of the best smoothing balm that I have ever used. I have tried everything from the most expensive hair salon brands to drug store brand. I have a short hair asymmetrical haircut that I blow dry and straighten with a flat iron. This protects my hair, leave my hair soft, manageable and shiny. I started using this on recommendation from an associate at Ulta because the ends of my hair was dry, brittle and crunchy! After using it for a little over 2 weeks, I went to my usual hair appointment and my stylist asked me what I had been using as my hair was in great shape! It makes my hair soft and is great to put on if you are using hot tools after drying it (I use a straightener). As far as all the reviews about the pump, I too found that frustrating but what I started to do was to give it a really good shaking to maybe mix up and loosen the contents and it sprays perfectly for me! Wow, finally a leave-in that actually hydrates my heavily bleached high porosity hair. I bought this during the sale because I liked Verb products in the past (the Sea line, before I bleached my hair), and like that the fragrance isn't heavy or obnoxious. I still feel like I need an oil or something to really seal and tame my ends, because they get tangled really easily otherwise. Overall I am happy with my purchase, but I did take off a star because it claims too much. Let's be real now, nothing can "repair" your ends. I also do not think this gives me any shine.petitesrule

In the instructions of how to use this oil, it says to work it though hair after a blowout. Very often, I blow out my hair with the Dyson Airwrap round brush and self-grip rollers. Self-grip rollers have a tendency to pull at the hair and break off small strands. I definitely think this oil is great at smoothing those strands after the blow out. You don’t even have to use a full pump for the oil to do that job. With either 1 full pump or less, the oil smooths the hair without ruining the blow out or making it greasy. My hair gets greasy QUICKLY after washing, so I really enjoy that I can use this oil for blow outs & it doesn’t affect the time in which my hair usually starts getting greasy. Also in the instructions, it says you can use this oil in your hair before washing. I’ve done this a handful of times now. I find the oil dries down in a fair amount of time, so I like that I can douse my hair with multiple pumps, put it in a pony tail, and after about an hour, it looks normal enough to do do things that I don’t have to look really impressive for (ex: errands). However, I notice when I completely oiling my hair up with this, it’s rather drying in comparison to other oils. For instance, I also use the Shea Moisture 100% Argan Oil, which is much cheaper, and it gives my hair that smooth oily feel that I aim for prior to washing. With this oil, I find that myself going back and re-oiling my hair due to the dry feeling. Again, I’ve only used it as a prewash a handful of times, so I have NOT noticed yet that the dryness is a lasting affect after I wash. I haven’t tried this yet on wet hair. Overall, it’s great for blow outs since a small pump goes far and it is light weight. When using larger amounts, I notice the hair feels more than dry than oily, and I worry this will eventually affect the dryness of my hair. This was so extremely disappointing, I even tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and used up the entire thing before giving my review. I honestly love so many Ouai hair products, their detox shampoo and scalp scrub are some of my absolute favorites! Unfortunately this was such a dud, I honestly cannot believe how many positive reviews this has received. First thing, the smell is atrocious. I like nice smelling products, and even if its unscented or a mild scent I usually don't mind but THIS! I could not get over the scent, its a very woody/herb/patchouli scent and its STRONG. Next issue I had with this is that it didn't really hydrate my hair, if anything it felt more dry after, it didn't really absorb and just sat on the hair looking wet/oily. i got this in a free gift set of a lot of minis & samples and i didnt expect much from it at all; i have used many different hair oils before and never really "clicked" with any of them. i also didn't expect to even remember half the items i got in this sample kit because there were so many. this stood out enough for me to take a picture of the little sachet before throwing it out. i thought i accidentally used too much but even with me using a lot it didn't weigh my hair down at all. in fact it actually gave me more volume, somehow, and my hair usually gets flat & greasy quite quickly. it smells so nice and the scent is subtle but lingers all day. it made my hair look so glossy & thick. i will definitely be purchasing the full size soon.aj

My hair is shoulder length, fine, highlighted and prone to frizz and flyaways. This is great at detangling, adding shine and reducing frizz. My hair looks much healthier when I use it. I generally apply after shampooing and conditioning, and I only have to apply the tiniest amount (about half a small pea’s worth) to get good results, which means that a tube lasts a long, long time, and makes it easier to justify the cost. It does weigh hair down a bit, but I’m very happy with the effect it gives. It’s lightly scented, but the fragrance isn’t overly strong and doesn’t interfere with perfumes or other fragrance. Also, I often find I get breakouts when I use other hair serums where my hair touches my face, but I’ve had no problems at all with this one. I wish this wasn’t so good! Lol. It’s an expensive product but it is incredible. I struggle finding a product like this that doesn’t make my hair look super greasy and gross or weigh it down. This gives me the shine I want (I don’t have to use a lot) without the gross issues my hair looks so healthy even though I just used a blow dryer and straightened it . My hair looks great for DAYS. It’s worth the money, but this line is so expensive. It doesn’t have a strong scent which can be a pro or con for some. My only problem with it is that it’s not a heat protectant. So I have to use another product with it which bothers me. Still….worth it lol. I feel like they need to make it protect against heat. Then it would be the perfect product. I have bleached thin hair, pretty damaged, so I was looking for something to use after washing my hair to make it easier to detangle and make it smoother and softer overall. Also I was intrigued by claims of super shine. I can not say that it didn't deliver, but I wasn't super in love, I wasn't gravitating towards it. I didn't notice intense shine or gloss, after it dries on your hand, for example, I can see tiniest shimmer parts (they are barely visible, but they are present), which I am also not a big fan of. Also the smell is a bit strong for my liking, and not that much frizz control, thus 4/5 from me. I must say that I usually don't blow dry my hair, but leave it air dry. I received a sample of this and I am struggling. I have thick fine hair that is greying. I’m thankful that I received a sample and know that this product is not for me. I thought it could be good for styling my hair, no. The tiniest amount into damp hair abd my hair feels heavy and looks lank. I searched the product online and found the YouTube video from the brand. They recommended putting a small amount in your hair, twisting it and demonstrated theses lovely young girls with freshly washed long hair, applied the product to make hand crunched beach waves and only showed the initial application and implied that this would lion great when dried. There’s a reason for that. I tried their technique, freshly washed hair, towel dried to damp ready for styling just like the demo video. Rubbed a small amount of product in my hands, applied, twisted my hair just like the vide. Cute. Then it dried. To crispy feeling, lamb looking hair with extra frizz. It feels awful. I’ve used this product multiple times, I’ve tried following the brand recommendations and lank crispy frizzy heavy greasy hair is not a look I desire. I have gotten this as a sample twice in my life and both times I thought my hair always looked stunning when I used it — so I finally pulled the trigger and am very glad I did. My hair is naturally wavy with a tendency to frizz in humidity. My hair will get poufy without product but too much will weigh it down and look greasy. You only need a TINY drop of this (like pea-sized) for medium length hair and it just works. Worth the splurge if you tend towards drugstore hair products because it will last so long. It also smells incredible. I wish it were a pump and not a squeeze top because it’s easy to get too much product but it’s truly better than any other similar product (tried leave ins from Ouai, OGX, IGK, Amika, and probably others and this one still wins)rutherfoodie

I was looking for something that would protect the dry, splitting ends of my hair until I can get a haircut. My hair is very fine, very straight, not color treated, and prone to oiliness. I've never been able to get much volume or fullness out of my hair, no matter what product or styling method I use. But this seems to help somewhat. I apply it to the bottom half of my hair while damp, comb it through to distribute it, and then blow dry it. The few times I haven't dried it after applying this stuff, it left my hair sticky and sort of crunchy, so if your hair is like mine, it's not going to work as an air styler. It does give my hair a little bit of grip and texture, and my hair doesn't seem to get oily quite as quickly when I use this, so I can usually go 3 days between washes instead of just 2. Only downside is that it might be irritating the skin on my neck and behind my ears; I get painful cyst-like almost-pimples that never quite come to a head but stick around for days at a time. This might be partially due to how hot my room is at work, but it's definitely worse when I use this on my hair. I'm going to try washing my neck and behind my ears after styling my hair to see if that helps, because I really do like this product for my hair. My skin is particularly sensitive, so this probably isn't a problem for most people.ACB

I have long, straight, black, glassy hair. My partner, however, has bleached, frizzy hair (naturally light brown hair to platinum. ALSO, since he is super impatient he doesn't let me bleach his hair *properly* so it ends up damaging his hair like crazy. He also hates upkeep that takes longer than 5 minutes lol) Enter DREAM COAT. It has a special polymer (fancy word for plastic) and that's why it's heat-activated. If you let your hair air-dry and use it before heat-styling, you'll still see a fantastic difference, but it truly makes the most difference when you use it as directed. I won't say the air drying is useless, for sure. So this is his hair BEFORE, with partial air drying, then AFTER spraying and using a flat iron. It looks and feels AMAZING. I usually follow up with the Mist-Ical Shine Spray (also an AMAZING product) but this time I didn't and it STILL looks and feels so soft! The ONLY reason I put 4 stars is becahse the price. It's a teeeeeny bit ridiculous, but obviously worth it or else I wouldn't keep buying it. Hair Chemist has a dupe at Sally Beauty that is almost HALF the price (and 2 more oz) However, its scent is heavier and it is ever-so-slightly not as good in performance, but a great buy if you can't come to terms spending $30 a month on this stuff. Dream Coat's scent is very mild, like a mix of water and chamomile tea. Hair Chemist smells nice, but most definitely a stronger scent. I would show you MY hair, but my partner's transformation is way, way more drastic, clearly. It completely changes his hair. Also, it says it lasts through 3 shampoos? I don't trust that lol. AND try not to use extra products or a conditioner that leaves a film, otherwise the color wow will just slip off. P.s. Let me start by saying this is a great product however there is a but… When worked into wet hair & then activated by heat, which in my case is normally a hair dry with my dyson air wrap & closely followed by either the curling tool on the air wrap or my GHD straighteners depending on the days hair goals. The product really brings my hair to life… for the day, max two days. It does leave my hair less frizzy (my GHD’s do that too mind you!) & the shine it gives my hair is stunning, I’ve had many compliments however I am one of those lucky humans who only normally needs to wash their hair once a week. This product does however make my hair appear increasingly greasy. Sometimes I can get away with using it & not washing my hair until day three after use but I often find that by the night of day two my hair looks greasy. Perhaps I am over doing it? I am not sure. I have tried using more, tried using less but it always seems the same. So I think it’s one of those products I will whip out on the day of an important event to make my hair pop but not one I will use religiously because well I’m lazy when it comes to my hair & unless my scalp psoriasis is having a flare up I do not wish to be washing my hair every other day. Even if the shine almost…almost makes it worth it. So for that reason I have given three stars. If I didn’t have the grease issue then it would be five stars hands down. I bought the small size of this to try first as I saw mixed reviews on it online. I have long, fine, non-colour treated hair, and this product worked AMAZING for me. I didn’t get a “glassy” look, but it definitely increased shine for me after 1 application. It reduces frizz SIGNIFICANTLY, and I washed my hair for the first time since adding it and it definitely still has an effect (so it worked well for first application and after my first wash after using it, so far). I am curious to see if it will actually last a full 3-4 washes. I am 40 years old and currently trying to heal my hair from damage from wearing it up all the time (ponytail, buns, messy buns, alllllll the time). This product DEFINTIELY makes it easier to wear my hair down more often because it looks great, my hair is texturally beautiful, and I don’t get the hair static to my neck that I hate, or my hair looking stringy and gross. It just does a beautiful job and does exactly what it says. I will definitely be upgrading to the big bottle when my little one runs out!! I am about 1 year into my CGM journey, and at this point – I rarely find products that work as well as my hair's natural oils. Even though I try to avoid shampoo, when I do use it (before hot tools or after about 3-4 weeks of conditioner rinses) I need to add a bit of moisture to make up for what I've rid my curls of. I tried this product after a wash day. It is one of the only products I've tried recently that actually feels natural in my hair. It helps to define curls and rid frizz. It dries with a light cast, but just enough for my hair to clump not enough to leave a waxy/dry texture like other competing products. I rarely feel comfortable using only one product. It's either a natural look sans products, or a mix of products (leave-in, oil, cream, maybe gel and spray etc., Depending on the style). This product is a mix of both worlds; leaves my hair natural looking without being too fluffy, yet offers enough moisture and oil for clumping without being heavy. Love the shine it adds. Ouai Curl Crème saves time for me since it's a cream + oil + hydrator + styling product. Great for traveling with. Easy to refresh dry hair with or style wet hair with. The scent is so luxuriously floral yet sweet, the packaging looks elegantly simple, and the bit about the "ex" on the packaging gave me a good chuckle. Ouai Curl Crème has my curls screaming, "oui, oui!" I have natural roots, ends relaxed and dyed (damaged), mix of curl textures (2b-3c), long length. Great on my husband's beard, 2a hair, and my son's 2b-3a hair. My hair is high density, low porosity.Amber

This product is clearly a creme that is not shy to define, and give your hair a subtle yet noticeable shine. IMMEDIATELY after drenching my hair in water, and applying the product, I barely had to touch my hair, and the definition was VERY apparent. Y'all, when I say, I was shook… I have never in all of my 21 years of life had a product instantly define my hair upon application. I barely had to finger comb. It for sure provides a nice element of moisture as well, and I find that the more I've used it these past couple of weeks, the softer my hair is getting. I'm not 100% sure if it's this product, or some of the other products that I've been using in my hair for the time being, but I do know that this is clearly the moisture and defining agent in the squad of hair products I've been using. This product has chia & linseed oil, babassu oil, and coconut oil in it, which are clearly carrying the product and running so that it doesn't even have to jog on it's own. Babassu oil is known as an oil that promotes high moisture retention, which seals the moisture into your hair shaft (ideal for high porosity hair types), and you know lack of moisture retaining products in your haircare routine is one of the #1 causes for breakage. Chia seeds are rich in fatty acids which work to not only penetrate your hair shaft (great for low porosity hair types), but seal in the moisture as well. Linseed oil is the same as flaxseed oil, which is high in vitamin E, and not only treats hair loss, but promotes growth. For my dry scalp peeps, flaxseed oil also can be used to prevent dandruff, and can provide relief. If you have damaged hair, or chemically processed hair, this is very ideal, since it has great moisture retaining properties, and it seals damaged cuticles. I have pretty curly hair but it's very fine and I was worried this cream would be too heavy but that is not the case at all! I use this on my hair while it's wet by section with a denman brush and my curls look incredible. if you diffuse, it creates a great mask for the curls that you can brush out after. my curls seriously last 3 days through workouts, sleep (I plop/pineapple my hair without a bonnet and they stay!) DC humidity, all of it. I use it with the OUAI medium shampoo and conditoner, and it's smells great! not perfumy or overwhelming. cannot recommend this more! in my pictures the one in the green shirt is day 3 curls, the other one is day one.larklewis

I'm really pleased with the Nexxus Weightless Style Blow Dry Balm. I use it on damp, towel dried hair before I blow-dry. The product is great as a heat protectant, but also really helps control my frizzy areas and adds volume to my fine hair. The styling cream is really lightweight, it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy – I concentrate it on the lower 3/4 on my hair. It is safe to use on color-treated hair and smells great!bb90__

It works exactly as advertised. Who knew such a thing existed! I have super fine hair and in the winter it dries out very fast. And being winter, I tend to blow dry my hair, making it worse. I received Nexxus Weightless Style Smooth & Full Blow Dry Balm and it works great!! You only need a quarter size of the balm to use in your hair. Once it is massaged thoroughly in your hair from roots to the ends, blow dry or style as you normally would. The product also has a heat protectant in it. This product makes your hair feel soft, gives you visibly less frizz and holds your hair in place! It feels weightless in your hair! You can use it daily or for special occasions. What I appreciate about JVN is the way he encourages everyone to embrace what they've got going for them, even if they want to change it up to feel our best. My hair texture is long and what can only be described as ultra-frizzy. It likes to loop and curl back on itself in one giant mass; there are, like, right angles in my hair. This is especially trying as an Asian woman, where there is literally no representation of my hair type in our cultural beauty standard, though I'm certainly not the only Asian woman with this hair. The ideal is always straight, glossy, shiny hair, maybe sometimes permed wavy hair, but never this huge, heavy behemoth I've never made peace with in my 30+ years. If I'm straighten my hair, it takes at least an hour. It's at least 15 minutes to blow dry my hair, and it still is usually in a rather uncontrollable state/frizzier than ever afterwards. Pretty much the only times my hair looks the way I want is fresh out of the salon, after 1-2 hours of a professional wrestling with it. And even then, it's always been straightened, not really an enhancement of my natural curls. I was intrigued by this air dry cream after really liking the shine drops and reading how it has helped others who seem to have similar relationships to their hair as me. Could this finally help me feel good being myself? It has not disappointed. My hair has never been this soft and shiny without any heat styling. Being able to apply this cream and let my hair dry is an absolute dream. I do still need to use quite a bit and brush it through regularly as its drying, and I also still need to pair it with a serum. But at least I don't need my hair dryer. I'm also not a huge fan of the tangerine smell since I have a sensitivity to citrus scent, but it doesn't really stick around. Additionally, I've noticed that I can go longer between washes. I was introduced to this brand through the influenster program, they sent this to me to try for free in exchange for an authentic review. I am a hairstylist who uses a lot of great products everyday and I love to air dry my own hair cause it’s super wavy and dries nicely with the right kind of air dry product or texture spray. I had no expectations because I had never heard anything about the brand, the packaging is really modern and nice and the air dry cream is packaged in a similar way to a tube of hair color just much bigger, It’s a good size tube of product and you truly don’t need a lot of product at all it’s concentrated. I am a tough critic and I don’t judge lightly when it comes to hair products, and instantly I could tell this was a great product that was well formulated and had an intentional styling purpose, from this day forward this is my holy grail product for my hair, it did everything I wanted it to do and more. I have coarse hair, very dry looking when I blow dry, my mother says it looks like hay which I get offended about but it truly does, it’s just super thick and coarse and has always felt dehydrated. Typically when I air dry I do my hair soaking wet, and apply a ton of different products for different reasons, one to hydrate, one to defrizz, one for control and one for enhancing my wave pattern. This product is genius, I don’t know if any other product I have ever tried on myself that has suited my hair type so perfectly. My hair dried without frizz, and it gave me beautiful texture and perfectly beachy waves without feeling like I had anything in my hair at all. it left my hair feeling soft and hydrated and also with a great style and volume at the roots. I’m so impressed and I’m so intrigued to learn about the rest of this line and use it on my clients. This is the best for hair like mine, I love it. I have had thick, dry, curly hair for so long. I can’t count on two hands how many different products, shampoos, conditioners, etc. etc. that I have tried over the years. None of them ever seemed to successfully hydrate my hair and give me the ability to style it. Beyond that, I found that most products would make my hair extremely weighed down, which is a problem since my hair is already extremely thick and dense. On the FIRST DAY of trying the Air Dry Cream (paired with the Nurture shampoo and conditioner) one of my best friends asked me if I had product in my hair because it looked “really good!” I always have product in my hair, so it’s funny that she asked me this question specifically on the day that I started using the Air Dry Cream. Then, another one of my friends saw me 30 minutes later and asked if I had done something different with my hair and complimented how it looked. I never get compliments on my hair, so I thought this was so strange. THEN, we went to dinner and a random person complimented my hair again! 3 compliments on my very first day of using the Air Dry Cream! This product does a fantastic job of hydrating my curls and keeping them frizz-free all day, which is no easy feat to accomplish. I'd really give it 4.5, overall. I bought this not expecting much. I shower at night and don't like to heat style my hair. It's very fine, straight, and overall not fun to deal with largely due to an auto immune issue from which it hasn't really recovered… I suffered major thinning and texture change a number of years ago, and it hasn't really bounced back. ANYWAY. I was looking for anything to give my lightweight hair someTHING that wouldn't weigh it down and that I didn't have to use a hot tool with. Enter this. It's not a miracle worker, but it does work. I don't have a lot of wave, so it doesn't make my hair naturally curly or anything, but it cuts down on the static-y awfulness of my hair when it air dries. It has a bit of hold, but nothing you can't brush out (if you sleep on your hair like me, this is essential). In the morning, my hair doesn't look dirty or have any leftover product residue. I've almost used up an entire bottle (took almost 2 years) and will gladly repurchase. It lasts a long time – I use it ~3x a week.sarrobo

I’m always looking for volume and bought the deluxe trial size to give it a go. This gets rave reviews, but I wasn’t impressed. It’s a foam product that is applied to damp hair at the roots. It requires a lot of babysitting, whether you blow dry (I do not, unless it’s absolutely necessary for a quick look) or air dry. A lot of brushing is required and I just didn’t get results. I do not recommend and I’m glad I got the small size.candy.a

I use the Dyson air wrap curler and found this product amazing. The bounce can often fall, but with the product it stayed for the whole day. I was sceptical about the restyling, but my hair held its style when I styled using heat over the following days. Top tip you really don’t need a lot. I over did it on the first attempt.D

Super light, smells nice but not too strong. I use about 1 pump on my towel dried hair, blow dry, then straighten. I accidentally bought a knock off of the blow-dry spray and decided to buy the real stuff but this time I bought the blow-dry mist for fine hair. This was so heavy on my hair, too oily and waxy. Finally a product that does what it promises! I have fine hair (a lot of it with a lot of body) that has a tendency to frizz around the face area. I have hi-lights and use a flat iron… needless to say I need a protector! The problem is most products weigh down my fine hair and/or make it look greasy. Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Mist is the first product that actually enhancing the body of my hair while protecting it! Highly recommend! I ADORE the smell. It is very beachy / coconut, lasts all day. This product is GREAT for heat protection and shine / detangling. However, I have thin / fine hair and this is way too greasy / oily. I spray it far enough from my head and use very little product but it is still too oily and sadly makes my hair stringy. I would absolutely recommend this to my thicker / medium haired friends or friends with hair extensions! Loving how nourished this product leaves the lengths of my long hair, particularly when I style in a high ponytail after using the Quai Fine Hair Shampoo: my hair looks so full, healthy and luxe. This creme is INCREDIBLE. If you have 2c-3a HIGH POROSITY & PROTEIN THIRSTY hair, this will be amazing for you. I have 2c-3a very low porosity, protein sensitive thick hair. Unfortunately this over-proteinized my hair type after just one use. By the second, my hair was strawlike in texture- though my curls were still beautifully enhanced with a lot less frizz & super bouncy. Both of which are hard to achieve as I'm just starting my curly hair care journey. I'm only taking a star off because it feels exactly how it describes- a lotion for your hair. You know how when you put hand lotion on? And you wash your hands later and the lotion reactivates? That's sort of what this feels like on the hair, except it never really dries down. It also felt like it created buildup because of that. By the second time of use, I felt like I had to wash it out with clarifying shampoo. I used a big amount the first time, and small the second- not really any difference in feel, just less curl definition. But that is virtually the only downside this product had. Just make sure your hair actually NEEDS the protein this packs, if it doesn't then this will kill your hair.k

I use this on damp hair and let it air dry. Before this product I had flyaways and frizz. However after using this product I can definitely say that my hair looks amazing! I can't imagine how much better it will look if you use heat styling tools! I would recommend for anyone to try but note: you really don't need a lot. I have hair to just past my shoulder blades and I only use a dime size as recommended. I accidentally used more the first few times and it didn't work as well, but now that I figured out how much I need it definitely makes my hair look and feel amazing! I wanted a hair product to use as a final stage after using a pre-styler and blow-dryer once I get out of the shower. I tried many and often faced the same issue, I get my hair just the way I like it with plenty of volume and then whatever product I use would usually lessen that fullness. This truly is AMAZING! After my stylist told me about this product, and after reading many amazing reviews about it, I decided to try it out. And WOW, this product delivers! I tried bedhead matte separation wax, the Salon Guy Clutch XL, Baxter clay pomade, hanz de fuko sponge wax, hanz de fuko claymation, hanz de fuko quick sand, Mr pompadour paste, Blumaan, Kevin murphy rough rider, mitch reformer & mitch matterial (which I think are both really great pre-stylers). My very favorite so far was the Kevin Murphy Night Rider. It's a fantastic paste, matte finish, phenomenal hold. BUT you have to be careful not to apply too much because it can become a bit heavy and shiny the next morning. Now this stuff, the moroccanoil texture clay is on another level. It gives a ton of volume, a ton of texture, a totally matte finish, like, you can't even see you even have anything in your hair. It gives this tiny "grit" to your hair, a bit of a lived in look, and the hold is amazing! It holds super well, and yet, it feels like there is nothing in your hair. It also thickens your hair.. So if you have medium – fine hair like me, you'll look as if you had twice the amount of hair on your head! LOL It's a clay, and yet, it's easy to scoop out, and it breaks down in a very nice, creamy way, making it very easy to spread through your hands and apply to your hair. Some clays and waxes are difficult to apply to dry hair because they tend to pull the hair as you do.. This here, thanks to its creamy feel once warmed up, goes into the hair like butter! You'll feel a bit of a gritty feel as you apply.. But that's the effect this clay gives, that second day lived in look, but yet very natural. The Hold is truly amazing in it! Because it's light, and perfect for fine hair as it swells the hair, you can layer this product for more hold. Start with a little amount, and add a little more if needed. It's super versatile.. You can get a soft hold and nice texture, with just a tiny amount, all the way to a lived in, messy, texturized look, with a super strong hold, depending on how much you use. This does the same thing as their texturizing spray, but, with a strong hold! The smell is a unique, very clean and fresh smell. It's not overpowering, it's very light, and smells really nice! I don't even need to use texturizing powder anymore, this does everything LOL You can also use a little bit as a pre-styler, for great volume and body. And because it has argan oil, it also acts as a heat protectant.. Honestly, it's truly an amazing product.. I'm glad I decided to try it out.. Doesn't matter your hair type, length, this will give you that awesome, next day, texturized, lived in look, with a great hold. I strongly suggest you to try it out.. It's a bit expensive, but a jar will last you several months!Tamas

Let's start by saying that I've tried lots of putties, clays, gels, and sprays on my hair. My hair can be heavy in one area and thin in others so it will be difficult to manage at every chance it gets. However, this Clay is where it's at I'm telling you. This stuff I will put a little tiny bit in my hane maybe a dime's worth no more than a nickel, because now than a nickel would be overkill. And it just seems to work like magic. This is my hair savior! It smells great. It even makes me look great! It's an awesome product. I recommend it to anyone who has hair, guy or girl. It's a little on the higher end side of the price but it's so worth it, that I promise you will not even think about what you paid for it.
