This is my second purchase. I started with a trial bottle. I really liked it so went ahead and splurged on the full size. I am 50, my hair is nearly 100% white, and is not color treated, this is the result of natural aging. For this reason, my hair has uneven texture and can be quite dry. This product works well with my hair, giving me a smooth result without being oily or greasy. After trying this I bought the Silk Express Miracle Silk Leave-In. I'm contrasting my thoughts below. Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin gives me a smooth, "finished" look without appearing greasy or oily. It dries quickly when styling and doesn't have a bad smell. However, it can cause my hair to feel somewhat synthetic. It's difficult to describe, but I believe that's the result of the keratin on the hair shaft. It's not bad, but it gives off hair that looks more styled, or "done," than I prefer. Silk Express Miracle Silk Leave-In also gives me a smooth, finished look, but it's a very natural look. My hair is bouncy and silky when I use the Silk Express Leave-In. With the Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin, my hair appears like it's been flat ironed. Silk Express appears like a really light, natural blow out. Also, my hair feels silky, healthy, and naturally, by contrast the Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin makes my hair feel fake. Neither product cause my hair to look or be greasy or oily, which is awesome, so I can go two or even three days without washing my hair and it's totally fine. The major thing I don't like about the Silk Express product is that it's got an overly perfumed smell (although it dissipates when dried) and that it takes 20 lifetimes for it to dry down. I mean, I'm literally standing, drying my hair, for half an hour with the Silk Express product. They say the Keratin product speeds up drying time. I don't find that to be the case at all. However, the Silk Express product really takes an inordinate amount of time to dry down – and goodness forbid you put too much on your hair. Both are good products, I have a bottle of each on my bathroom counter and use them regularly.Victoria
If i could rate this OVER a 5 , i absolutely would do that because this leave in conditioner is the best ive ever used …by far!! My 11 year old daughter and myself love using this for our very long hair because it makes our hair feel and look amazing , shiny and so healthy! And not just that, it smells wonderful as well. You will never see my bathroom without this leave in conditioner spray on the shelves because i make sure we never run out of it, and go and order more before that can occur because i dont want to ever go back to a day when my hair was without Its a 10! This is a salon hair product basically as it was first sold in salons exclusively if i am not mistaken…and then later on it started being sold in drug stores , grocery stores, walmarts etc…However, it does still cost what salon exclusive products do for the most part. This might turn folks who have never tried Its A 10 products away from purchasing them. They are higher priced than most other drug store hair care items however, i can say with absolute certainty that the leave in conditioner spray i used faithfully is 100% worth every penny. It is very high quality and is golden in terms of hair care for sure!! When i first purchased the leave in conditioner spray, because i didnt know if i was going to like it enough to ourchase the fulll size product so i noticed there was smaller travel sized option for a lot less money obviously. So i purchased that initially to see if i approved of it for my hair specifically. That being said, i definitely recommend this leave in conditioning spray. You HAVE to dry this stuff! My hair was SO incredibly dry and damaged. I tried EVERYTHING INCLUDING straight olive oil to help soften it from all the damage. NOTHING WORKED until i tried this stuff. I really like this treatment. I use it after my regular shampoo, instead of conditioner. You have to put a bit on your palms (depending on your amount of hair) and distribute evenly. Then leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes and then rinse it off. I find that it leaves my hair much more smoother and shiny, and makes it easier to style. Love this. I bought a sampler package and was in love with the out come. My hair if fine and straight and very damaged and dry. My hair is thin and wavy, with low porosity. I rarely wear it in its natural state, opting to dry with a round blow-dryer brush and flat iron. SCENT: This reminds me of the Melrose Place scent, and is noticeable upon spritzing, but fades rather quickly. TEXTURE: A little goes a long way. The right amount gives my hair volume; too much gave it a crispy texture. Overall: I tried this four different ways, With varying degrees of success. First, using my everyday product routine, using Kérastase Nutritive Nectar, Color WOW Dream Coat and Olaplex #6 on the ends of my hair. I misted the OUAI all over, then sectioned and twisted my hair, pinning each section at the bottom and air drying. The result was a somewhat frizzy mess. Second, I used it as a substitute for dry shampoo (which I do not use) to see if it would ‘wake up’ and refresh day-old washed hair. Unfortunately this made my hair look greasy, so that was a quick no-go. Third, I used a curl defining cream (MoroccanOil Curl Cream) and sprayed the Ouai, repeating the styling steps above, and gently blow drying after allowing my hair to air dry for about a half hour. This combination gave my hair very soft, natural-looking waves that I pulled up into a ponytail. This look lasted all day, through being out in the sun, heat, and misters. It was a style I have attempted before, but by the end of the day it is usually flat. This was encouraging! On my fourth and final attempt, I used the curl cream, repeated the original styling steps, and used a diffuser to blow dry my hair. This resulted in slightly defined waves that felt a little crispy, with an overall voluminous effect. Final Thoughts: This is not a product that I would use often, only due to the texture/thickness of my hair. Although it does provide some added volume, finding the right balance between full and crunchy is tricky. For someone who washes their hair 2-3x a week, this can be a tricky product to use. I have 2B hair, and a lot of it, but my hair texture is very fine, unlike many people with strong natural wave patterns. Curl creams tend to weigh down my hair, making it flat and greasy. Salt sprays are of course drying and damaging in the long term. But Ouai Wave Spray is the perfect product! It has the nourishment and definition which other people can get from the shea butter heavy creams, all in such an easy and light manner! I simply rake the spray through my hair and scrunch with it right out of the shower then use a medium-hold gel to maintain definition throughout the day. PROS – It controls the fizz on my hair. – It helps redefine my curls after several days since washing my hair. – It smells so good (in my opinion) so I love to spray it on my hair even just to enjoy the perfume. For this price the truth is that I expected more surprising results. I don't notice any positive difference between using it and not using it, I think my hair looks better if I don't use it, and that's why right now it's collecting dust in a drawer. Keep in mind that my hair is bleached and colored, but despite that it is very healthy. I think the problem is that this product contains protein and my hair is low porosity, so protein just doesn't do my hair any good and makes it look worse. This Oil is so Lux and it's definitely worth it. I've been looking for an oil I can use while straightening my hair that will moisturize yet not weigh it down and this product helps go above and beyond. I bought this for myself a couple of times & just bought it for a gift. Oils can weigh down my straight fine hair but this one doesn’t! A medication I was taking made my hair frizzy & difficult, this softens my hair and I like that I can add it later in the day to dry hair for extra frizz control (I live in Houston) and my hair absorbs it instead of just laying on top of the hair and looking greasy. After shampooing, I use 2 pumps of the oil & 4 of L’anza’s Healing Smooth Smoother Straightening Balm and a hot straightening brush (love that). Game changers in helping my frizzed out wrecked out hair!
So my stylist recommended this to me because she sells it at her salon. I saw that ulta had a sale on these and I bought it with the mask. The mask was not good. This oil however was good at first when you put it on, the next day it will dry out and your hair feels dry afterward. Then when you get it wet and shower your hair is back to silky soft again. It's almost as if there's some sort of chemical that made it that way. I have to look into it. But it smells good. It just dry my hair out on the 2nd or 3rd day so I can't go far after using this without rinsing my hair off. It's not like putting coconut oil on your hair where the oil doesn't evaporate and dry your hair out. This thing does. Maybe it's the alcohol or silicone? This is def not suitable for someone like me with dry damaged over bleached hair. On my goodness this is the best thing ever. It’s a heat protectant and a smoothing cream as well as a treatment. Overall, I was not impressed with this product. A but of background info: 1.) I have naturally curly hair and will use curling irons and straighteners to sytle my hair on occasion. 2.) We have hard water in our home. After using this product for both curly and straight hairstyles, I would not purchase this product or recommend to a ffriend. Pro 1.) No noticeable scent to the product. (Pro for some people) Cons 1.) My hair felt more static-y and rough than normal when using this product. 2.) My hair was frizzy as soon as I finished my style. Normally, my hair is frizzy by the end of a day but this product didn't help with my frizz in the beginning of the day at all. 3.) This product has no noticeable scent. I have fine, wavy, oily hair and scalp and most leave in products or heat protectants weigh my hair down to the extent that I feel a need to wash it the next day itself. But this one is different. I only needed to use a tiny amount and it felt very lightweight on my hair. After heat styling my hair looked and felt amazing without a trace of frizz. I received a BzzAgent sample product of the Kérastase Discipline Leave in treatment to try. The condition of my hair during the winter months can be a challenge. My curl /wave pattern is between a 2A and 2C with random coils. My hair is thick and beyond mid back length, so in the winter months it's more necessary to blow dry my hair. The texture of the leave in does not feel heavy, but I did need to use double of the amount instructed again for the length of hair that I have. I found that the treatment did cut down on my blowdry time, so that is a bonus. Compared to other heat protecting, straightening products, the Kérastase leave in had my hair more manageable and less frizzy. While not completely frizz free, styling my hair has been easier with less tangles. I'll get myself another tube (if I run out before) when it gets warmer to see how well using this product performs air dried. Air drying during the winter is not an option since my hair takes almost half a day, it's just too thick.hawaiana

After much research for a product that would keep the static out of my hair in the harsh winter climate, I settled on this product. It got great reviews and seemed to be what I was looking for (a leave-in product that could be used on damp or dry hair). not to be dramatic but if you buy anything from Sally let it be this. i have very fine textured hair that i’ve been lightening and coloring on and off since high school. lately it has been SO incredibly brittle and forms some pretty gnarly knots, i literally can’t even run my fingers through it. my hairstylist sibling recommended the 2 step treatment from this line, which i did use once so far, but i didn’t notice a huge difference with it. THIS however, makes it possible to brush through my hair and detangle. i use it on freshly washed hair and also between washes on dry hair to brush through it. i also use it in combination with the olaplex no 7 oil. it has really helped with the overall weight of my hair as well as breakage and frizz. i would have probably chopped off my hair if i hadn’t found this.alanna

i have naturally wavy/curly hair and struggle with frizz. this stuff has helped smooth my hair SO MUCH and it makes it feel so soft and lightweight. the only reason i gave it 4 stars was because of the scent. if you are sensitive to smells i would not recommend this product, it has a very pungent berry scent. it it was milder it would be lovely, but it's almost headache inducing-and i'm not very sensitive to smells. if you can ignore the scent, the product is great!GiSTAR
Decided to leave a review because this leave in spray is amazing and I was disappointed with the reviews simply about frizzy hair. It's not a frizz-away or repair spray. It's just a way to give your hair a little extra. I have tried all of Hask Leave in sprays, my favorite is the Argon oil! I've got a large in my bathroom & a mini in my purse (>^w^< ) I have used Hask leave in's for 5+yrs & have nothing but good things to say. It's important you use as little as possible, extra wont be absorbed & will make your hair very oily. (Also suggest avoiding the top half of hair- I personally can't stand oily roots) I personally get super silky, healthier looking hair after using daily for a couple of weeks. Good Luck!Lacy
The most helpful critical review, the girl clearly is leaving a review for the wrong product or got the wrong one. The BIOTIN hask spray is the one with COFFEE in it and adds VOLUME. Just irritated she would dismiss a product she clearly didn't use. That said I have curly hair that I will blow out with a round dryer to have loser curls or go straight. I love this spray to smooth and calm fly aways. Creams tend to weight my hair down and make it look dirty. This is a protein based spray so if you're hair doesn't need protein( very dry and damaged) it will make your hair worse for wear. Use the argan one instead which is more moisture vs protein. Very disappointed in this leave-in. It's heavy on perfume and oils. The scent is strong. I'm on the second day after using it and the smell in my hair is still strong. It's in my hair brushes, combs, pillowcase, etc. Ugh! Not happy! This leave-in didn't seem to do anything other than make my hair smell bad, feel dirty and look frizzy. FYI, my hair is long, fine and straight hair, but gets frizzy in humidity. Perhaps this can work for people with hair that's different than mine, but only for those who can tolerate strong perfume smells.Kim
All I can say is WOW!! I am obsessed with this!!!! Hair looks healthy and is manageable with this product. Love it. Smells great too….it has that fresh out the salon scent💇🏻♀️. After the shower, I always wrap my hair in a turbo towel to absorb the wetness. Then, I spray it on my toweled dried hair to get rid of any tangles/knots. I basically substituted this product for a leave in conditioner because I find that leave-in-conditioners weigh the hair down especially if your going to use more products which I do lol. I find that my favorite part is that it is lightweight. After applying the rest of my products I go in with the round brush to blow dry and, it’s just so nice because it’s treating your hair at the same time as a protectant. I will not even try to beat about the bush here – I love it! It’s the best $5 I ever spent. First off, it smells amazing. It’s sort of floral, but not overpowering. It’s a shame it doesn’t last beyond a short while though. So I used this on damp, towel-dried hair, before blow drying. I just sprayed some into my hair, concentrating on the ends, because a lot of heat is focused there. When I used the dryer, it felt so smooth, and my hair was detangled! I didn’t even expect it to do any good with detangling and it did. I have noticed that some heat protectant sprays contains alcohol and dry out the hair. This one does not make my hair dry or frizzy, in fact, it’s the opposite – it makes it smooth, shiny, and hair feels moisturized. Not only does it act as a heat protectant and shine spray, but almost like a serum, without making the hair oily, or weighing it down in any way. Also, the last ingredient – Biotin is supposed to be good for hair growth. I also use this spray when my hair is not damp, and it still works just as well. My hair remained tangle free through out the day. Also, I don’t know if it was the result of using this, but my hair felt more bouncy. There was no product build up after using this continuously for a few days also. This is not a hold spray though, so you will need one if you want to use it. I have been using this spray for YEARS. It’s my go to heat protectant for my hair for many reasons. 1 it actually works! The most important thing in a heat protectant is that it needs to actually work and I definitely need that since I have platinum blonde hair and it’s damaged enough. 2 it makes my hair feel silky smooth after straightening it, almost like a salon keratin blowout or something. It also makes my hair feel amazing with any kind of heat styling not just straightening. 3, it smells amazing! I always get asked what shampoo and conditioner I use when it’s actually the keratin heat protectant. Finally 4, the best part, ITS CHEAP!! That makes it sound bad so I’ll say it’s AFFORDABLE! You won’t break the bank what so ever buying this and a bottle will last you anywhere between 2-3 months depending on how much you heat style your hair. I used this for years and years and it's a super affordable, easy to find product/brand. This product prepares your hair for any heat, flat-ironing, blow drying routine and that's a must however, I do think it has a lot of cons, like I found that my hair felt and looked heavy looking after using a certain amount of this product, as if the my hair wasn't properly washed and rinsed before straightening it and if I used a smaller amount, it seemed like it was not enough to protect/shield my hair. The fragrance in this is also CRAZY strong, like all TRESemme products and I absolutely hate it! I personally do not purchase TRESemme anymore and I do not recommend this product.dayana.g
